Dear friends,
In this short post I just want to share with you four small housekeeping items:
1) Your suggestions and comments about the new blog: they have all been carefully parsed and we have made a few immediate corrections, but there are still major problems with the migration to the new blog which have to be taken care of first before we turn to ironing out the aesthetic issues.
2) Many of you are still commenting on the old (this) version of the blog. Please do this only if posting comments here is impossible. Still, as long as there are unresolved problems with the new blog I will keep the other one open.
3) The Serbian blog is almost ready and I hope to make an official announcement about it very soon.
4) Some of you have asked me to react to something published by Gleb Bazov (Slavyangrad) or Vladimir Suchan. I have nothing to say to them and no comments to make about anything they post; any comment referring to them will be deleted.
Kind regards to all,
The Saker
A link to the new blog would be helpful. I don’t want to miss your excellent in-depth blogs. Thank you.
So, Mr Putin said that John McCain has blood of innocent people on his hand. Well, now Mr McCain can say the same about Putin. Facts are facts.
No R2P and you’re in the same shit. Who next.
@Anonymous 17:53, Oct.-10, 2014.
Horse-hockey! Putin is not obliged to protect Novorosiya, he’s obliged to protect Russia’s longterm interests first, anything he does to help the people in Donbass is extended humanitarian help. To equate Putin’s indirect perceived inaction to John McInsane/McIdiot’s direct action supporting mass-murdering Islamist death-squads is obscenely stupid.
The fact that president Putin has extended Russia to help other states (Syria) and Other People (Donbass) is their good fortune. The fact that President Putin has taken action internationally to uphold international law (to protect Russia’s longterm interests), which benefits the whole civilized world is the world’s good fortune, but it is not Pres. Putin’s obligation.
Since Putin provided the DNR with men and materials, he has a right to have a say in their actions, afterall, w/o the help Russia provided …. DNR could have been crushed (even Strelkov admits that). Yes, I do agree that it would have been better if the aid and DNR counteroffensive had continued for a few days more, delivering maximum destruction to the neo-nazis, but we aren’t privilege to what other concessions (specific to Russian interests or specific to Donbass interests) Putin extracted out of the Humilated EU and Petro Poroshenko when they were over a proverbial barrel.
Hi Saker,
as far as I know my account at your new blog isn’t working. To make things very simple for both of us could you please simply delete my account and I’ll start a new one just with the Username and email.
With my thanks
