Yup, you probably guessed it. It’s BHL, Bernard Henri-Levi, the so-called “philosopher” and France’s ArchZionist who after declaring war in Libya and, before that, Serbia, is now declaring war on Russia. Normally, I would post the article in question. But for BHL I will make an exception and only post the link:
http://www.nytimes.com/2014/07/23/opinion/putins-crime-europes-cowardice.html
If you can do that and keep your breakfast down, I urge you to read his piece. His racist hatred of Russians is not even subtle: “vodka-soaked rabble army” “undisciplined louts who know only the law of the jungle” “dogs of war who follow no creed and no law”. He does not even need to say “subhuman” like Iatseniuk did – it is already quite clear.
It’s 1917 (hiding behind a thin veneer of 1941) all over again. The Trotskists want their genocide again. But this time around Russia understands it and is ready.
The Saker
The Samizdat biosphere pt. V
The Israeli army conducts weekly incursions into the Gaza Strip to destroy the land it has declared as ‘no-go zone.’ Its tanks, bulldozers and military jeeps, accompanied by helicopters and drones, systematically destroy fruit bearing trees and agricultural land in the Gaza strip. Civilian infrastructure in this area is also demolished; this includes hundreds of houses, wells and chicken farms — mosques and schools are demolished as well.
[…]
The Israeli army created a ‘no-go zone’ along the Israel-Gaza border that Palestinians cannot enter. This ‘buffer region’ extends up to 1,500 meters at times into the Strip and includes some of its most fertile land. As a result, 35 per cent of the agricultural space in Gaza is off-limits to farmers. This has seriously damaged the food economy and harshly penalized innocent farmers. Palestinians are fired at arbitrarily if they try to enter this region; farmers suffer serious injuries, and at times death, as a result of this indiscriminate firing.
[…]
Of 1.5 million people living in Gaza, 1.2 million are registered refugees spread across eight camps. These refugees are made up of Palestinians, and now their decedents, who were expelled from present-day Israel in during the mass expulsion or Nakba in 1948. Since the newly created state of Israel denied the right of return to these refugees, they have been trapped in the refugee camps for the past 66 years. These refugee camps are overcrowded, cramped and under utter disrepair – unlivable by any standards.
9 Reasons why Israel is under rocket attack – Mondoweiss
The last article on the subject of Israel’s “ATO” in the Gaza Strip:
The Samizdat biosphere pt. VI
NBC pulled out Ayman Mohyeldin, who has been widely praised for the even-handedness of his reporting from Gaza, just as he landed a harrowing scoop. He had kicked a football with four boys who were killed moments later by an Israeli missile.
Mohyeldin managed a few tweets before being removed, allegedly on “security” grounds. But why then did NBC immediately send in a replacement? After a public outcry, Mohyeldin was reinstated, but no proper explanation of the decision has been provided.
Shortly afterwards, CNN “reassigned” its reporter in Israel, Diana Magnay, after a tweet in which she labelled as “scum” an Israeli mob that threatened her with violence as she filmed them celebrating missile explosions in Gaza. The tweet was deleted within minutes, followed by her rapid departure.
The impression left by these incidents and the generally deferential tone towards Israel in US coverage is that, faced with huge pressure from the Israel lobby, media executives are frantically policing their correspondents’ output, including on social media.

Re: Gayle’s question: there are all sorts of elements to this, from the 19th-century Great Game to religion. The question of how can the Anglos support Nazis in Ukraine is only perplexing if one doesn’t know they’d been supporting Nazis (and Nazi allies) for years and decades elsewhere (see here), but with the same objective: to destroy Russia and its civilization, because they see its very existence as a threat to theirs. Since theirs is based on a dogma that it “has no alternative” (“end of history”, etc.).
Its wonderful when your opponent fumes, and fumes, and fumes in frustration.
Merci Bernard.
I noticed that the Svoboda and UDAR parties have resigned fro the coalition.
That’s interesting because it signals elections for the Verkhovna Rada (parliament) and, in addition, the presidency becomes very unstable. It is hard to see how Poroshenko can be anything other than a lame duck now. But then, my guess is that he was a lame duck from the outset. I recall him making statements of intent that were simply ignored by his ministers.
The question is who has been invited to stick his nose into the trough now. I am sure this is not a surprise to the US and there have been rumblings for a while.
A few months ago I suggested that Poroshenko was not the man for the job and would be quickly replaced. If the Ukrainians were to be fortunate they might find a candidate who was independent of EU and US chains and who had the vision and belief in a united Ukraine. Whatever one might think of Kuchma and Yanukovych both had a clear vision of a unified Ukraine and worked to enable it. There’s nobody else who has been close to that.
Now, we can look forward to an emergency session of the Russian duma (parliament)where something is cooking. Given rumblings of boots on the ground from Australia wanting to get their troops into the Donbass my guess is that if the Russians are looking at something requiring men and materiel across the border they need to act within hours and certainly before the end of the weekend.
I was talking with an Estonian friend who, although she has somewhat ‘firm’ beliefs about Russians thinks that the current mess is down to US interference at all points. She was suggesting that moving rapidly makes sense for Russia. see what she means.
Putin via the show and tell earlier this week let it be known to the US that he was hoping they’d stop, or at least curtail their media silliness and fictionalising. By the end of the following news cycle it was obvious that, although there was some movement to encompass the more obvious points in the show and tell, that there was no way that the pressure was going to let up. This was the signal that Putin did not want. he now knows that this is a trajectory that ends in war.
In such a case, Russia is better served t move fast, not for surprise, but for strength. At this point Russia is relatively stronger than she ever will be again in respect of the ‘western powers’. Whatever happens is going to be torrid, costly and destructive but could enable the survival of the Russian Federation in its current form.
In six months that will not be the case.
So, my guess, is a rapid move to take over significant parts of Ukraine, not the whole country and not permanently. I REALLY hope that I am wrong but earlier this week I set a timetable of as few as 7 days to war. If I am right I will have been on target and I want to be wrong.
But, when I was a kid, I was bullied, it went on for years and followed me from junior to senior school. Years if tears, fear and torment stopped in a few short minutes when I ignored the teaching of my parents and kicked seven bells of shit out of one of my tormentors in full public view. I carried on hitting the kid long after I could have stopped, well after he had given up fighting back – but bullies rarely have much determination anyway, they go for the ‘easy’ targets.
I only needed to do it once, I took my ‘sanctions’ and was never bullied again.

Here is my answer to Gayle regarding the origin of the contemporary, anglo-zionazi demonization of Russia:
The West is founded on theft and murder, and its ruling Elite remains as dearly infatuated with this behaviour as ever. Forms a key part of this Elite’s very class consciousness, the more so since without the loot there’ll be no way for them to buy domestic social peace and chauvinistic cohesion.
Unlike their grovelling subjects, however, the Western Elite knows it’s deeply hated throughout most of the world. Hence, they’re constantly raging and fuming in accordance with what seems most threatening to them at any given moment. At present, it is the aspirations of Russia to put an end to Western financial parasitism, but being at odds with an ever growing majority of the world’s population could bring about changed priorities instantly. The corporate media duly passes on the new “party line” to the Western zombies without much difficulty.
“Saker..couldn’t stop laughing at this quote from the one of my fellow bloggers calling you a “proto fascist of the Great Russian variety”. Feel honored. You have been labeled with a typical old school gobbledegook rhetorical moniker–takes me back 50 years into another era!!!”
It’s me, the SEP Trotskyist again. If you’re not an internationalist, which is the basis of Trotskyism then you’re a nationalist and nationalism leads inexorably to fascism when it is placed under the pressure of imperialist domination and war, which is what Russia is receiving from the US. Russia should be defended from imperialist war but only from the standpoint that their working class deserves to be defended from capitalist persecution like ALL working classes deserve to be defended. That includes the working class here in the US as well.
On the subject of Nazism, the latter is simply the spawn of Americanism. Everything is there: Land-grabbing, lawlessness, enslavement, war, racist genocide, and — yes! — a hideously ugly (body and soul alike) braindead, flag-waving, obese Herrenvolk home constituency. More specifically, given Weimar Germany’s social chaos and tensions bordering on civil war, the Nazis were particularly envious of the social cohesion of the US, based on White supremacy, “Manifest Destiny”, and ultra-militarism. And US imperialism gloating in its own crimes in films, books, and newspapers distributed globally was a very real phenomenon by the time fascism reared its ugly head in Europe.
In short, Nazi Germany sought to emulate successful Anglo-American imperialism but proved unequal to the task since the Slavic peoples would not have it. BHL will not live to see it either.

Marxism and classes are not relevant in this context. What matters is how you define “dictatorship of the proletariat”. Marxists like Rosa Luxemburg saw in it a metaphor for the inversion of a hierarchical pyramid (bottom up structure) and that would imply the “proletariat” being the people. The same group followed similar goals like the Anarchists (Mikhail Bakunin in particular), with a radical democracy where people decide about both their work place (production) and political matters (local councils). Interestingly, Rosa Luxemburg was highly critical of the Bolsheviks (as formulated in “On the Russian revolution”).
Most people however didn’t read Marx that way, but instead as just another formation of a ruling class (here: vanguard) that will impose its will upon others. Lenin and Trotsky saw it as an opportunity for seizing power under the pretext of “guiding the revolution” (for those who are too stupid and ignorant). Recall that all worker’s councils were immediately dissolved and replaced by appointed apparatchiks who ruled over the factories top-down style. Further, as I wrote before, it were no longer the people who decide politics, but the vanguard elites that laid down the road to “communism”. If you read Lenin’s comments, you’ll note a striking similarity to what elites state nowadays. Trotsky and the 4th international never gave up on the vanguard idea, thus the same elitism, perhaps with a friendlier facade.
Marxism in the form of Leninism and Trotskyism is an authoritarian, top-down controlled power system. This is the same way our “western democracies” are constructed in reality. Ideology is a means to an end, to seize power and privilege. That’s why switching sides is not really giving up anything, you only look out where the power centres are and the rest is business as usual.

18-47, In the Internet appeared the materials, presumably, from the correspondence of the head of the SBU Century Nalyvaychenko and the President of Ukraine P. Poroshenko. According to them, the armed forces of Ukraine began a wholesale desertions.
“In the period from 14 to 19 July 2014 notes catastrophic growth (3473 man, 47%) of the number of deserters from the Armed Forces and the National guard of Ukraine in comparison with similar indicators for the previous week (1847 people, 25%). In addition, for this period has increased the number of missing people (1344 people, 47%; last week – 344 people, 10%)”. – it is informed in the document.
(A photocopy of the official document citing these details is included in the website page.)
19-23, Finance Minister of Ukraine Oleksandr Shlapak, during his speech in the Verkhovna Rada stated that the budget has no money to pay salaries to soldiers in the area known ATO from August 1.
“From August 1, we pay the military will have nothing,” said Asiapac.

Perhaps the Novorossians will not even have to wait for the cold weather and the lack of natural gas to see the collapse of their enemy’s operations. And just what would the American military advisers advise under these circumstances? Apparently also, the tactic of Right Sector execution of deserters has also failed.

Well, he is an authoritarian who learned to disguise his obedience to power by internalising elite talking points and packaging them in blissful and emotionally laden rhetoric. Typically, one would refer to such a person as a “useful idiot”. He gave up principles for career opportunities, in the service of corporate and imperial interests.
I do not know whether is or is not a Trotskyist, but I know that in Spain we have some trotskyist philosopher who, without being so mouthy like this, pretty defends U.S. invasions of sovereign countries and color revolutions.
If a person cannot admit that power and privilege matters more to oneself than principles and truth, then that person will inevitably create an “after the fact” rationalisation that sounds more acceptable to others (another aspect, obedience coincides with concerns about one’s perception by others). This “blind spot” makes them most vulnerable to propaganda, but unlike the powerful, who use it as a means to an end, they do believe in the statements, because they serve as an excuse for their own behaviour.
Beware with the Trotskyistes, some are not clean wheat. I think some of they are the fifth column on the left.
To be fair, there are some Trotskyists who are quite reasonable in their assessment of world events (some writers at the World Socialists Web Site – wsws.org), but still I disagree with the authoritarian’s left elitism. If you are serious with a democratic society that puts people before profits, then you need to get rid of hierarchical structures first. That includes the work place (corporations are private tyrannies if you look at their organisation) and governmental structures.
But that is incompatible with the authoritarian left who see themselves as the enlightened vanguard who have to lead the stupid and ignorant rabble, thereby conveniently justifying exploitation and power structures.
Б.
Just read Levy’s villainous piece from the NYT. No doubt about it, the Zionazi filth are morally and spiritually deranged to a startling extent. The salient feature, of course, is the hate. Everywhere Levy sticks his oily features, death and destruction follow. The Zionazi exists to hate and murder, each death a religious observance, as various ultra-orthodox Rabbis insist. And as Ovadia Yosef, no doubt a late ‘friend’ of Levy infamously observed, the goyim only exist to serve the People of Israel.
What a lying and warmongering Zionist Jew pushing his false propaganda full of hatred.
Well, know we all know who the enemy is and that is very good. Payback time for all Zionist wars.

Well, friend,
If you read my comment well, you see what I mean SOME trotskyists, not all, of course.
In any case, it is my opinion, based on my experience after a recent contact with Trotskyist ( I had never tried before ) in a new Spanish political organization left tendency, and I can tell you that I proved them intractable, while bad people:
unaffordable to criticism of any of them, but especially their leader or ideologue,
sectarian comportment,
attempted destruction of any enlightened mind that can oppose their goals in terms of candidates or ideas, intense discussion and attempted manipulation as
anti-NATO or anti-US imperialism ideas espressed…..
Finally I left the organization, where they were large majority, after being severely insulted by their leader and some of her subjects.
What more can I say?
Perhaps you would go great with them. Well, you can stay with them forever.
I simply saw me on the need to change lanes…. dangerous people, in my humble opinion.

Hi Saker!
A little hello from Zionist contolled France.
BHL is a billionar terrorist pretending to be a philosopher. Even in the lobotomised MSM, he’s considered as such, but few would say it and are willing to oppose him, coz he behave like a total wacko. So most just bow and obey. I call it carpetozionism.
His article is a usual masterpiece of chutzpah; aka blatant and arrogant piece of lies.
His reference book is Talmud, not Torah. He even had the guts to invite Muslims to convert to Talmud.
BHL is surely one of the most hated MSM persona ( I use this word in the Bergman’s sense: death mask) in France.
When you don’t know which side to support in a conflict, just take the opposite of BHL ‘s side and you’ll be right.
For those who ask news about Dieudonné, he’s actually playing his new show “La Bête Immonde” (aka The Filthy Beast) at the Golden Hand Theatre. Badly reviewed by MSM, acclaimed by spectators. He’s been quite active on youtube on Palestine, Ananassurance ( new assurance that he vows to launch, 50 000 ready to be part of the project to screw the system).
Last one was to defend the ex National Front female candidate which posted on her facebook page a photo comparison about a baby chimp (18 month) and Taubira (nowadays), Jutice ministry (the one which pushed gay marriage). Though stating she has to make a lot of work to improve her sense of humor, he boasts the fact that she’s been sentenced to 9 month of jail for her repost.
He also boast the french government for banning the last pro palestinian march in Paris, after banning his own show.
What is interesting is that they used the “jurisprudence” Dieudonné, enacting preentive censorship, to forbid the pro -palestinian march, blaming “potential public disorder”.
He’s still on trial with the landlord of the golden hand theatre, a zionist jew (no you can’t invent it). Next round, 23rd of September.
NB: I see there’s been some fuss going on between you and Olivier Berrurier (les-crises.fr). You’re both doing a great job on the blogosphere. Try to smooth the angles, we don’t need petty querrels between good bloggers (I’m sure it’s a misunderstanding).
He has done the most amazing coverage in the french blogosphere of the ukranian conflict. Moreover, he’s been great in his tv debate mostly on bfm businees,(french economic channel) showing the nazis in tne uki coup government, the implications of the US and European Union in the coup d’Etat, and the contradictions of the EU parliament condemning svoboda and pravyii sector in late 2012, and now supporting them.
Yesterday, he was opposed to a petty french foreign deputy (nop, you’re not hallucinating;Zionist jew president Sarkosy created them) on france 24.
He just ruled him out on the MH17 crash
The only fact that he was invited on France 24 for a debate, shows that there seems to be moving lines on that issue from french Government.
BHL writes for the huffington post and is their standup philosopher in residence
