FSB holds briefing on Kerch Strait crisis
A briefing on Kerch Strait crisis held by the First Deputy Head of the Coast Guard Department of the FSB Border Service Aleksey Volsky and Head of the Investigative Department of FSB Mikhail Shishov in Moscow on Saturday dedicated to the Kerch Strait crisis on Saturday, December 8.
Tensions rose off Crimea on November 25th as three Ukrainian navy vessels breached Russian territorial waters, before being impounded by the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB). According to the Ukrainian authorities, their vessels had the right to pass freely through the Kerch Strait, under international law. Moscow says it was not given advanced warning. The FSB described the vessels’ transit as “illegal,” all 24 Ukrainian sailors were sentenced to two months in custody until January 25, 2019.
“According to the Ukrainian authorities, their vessels had the right to pass freely through the Kerch Strait, under international law.”
According to the zionazi-gay interpretation of international law…
Given the fact that threats to blow up the new Bridge connecting Russia and Crimea have even come from American politicians, it ought be a no brainier that Russia has the right to blow out of the water any unauthorized invader, end of story.
Having failed to to keep its most recent war bounty, the Ukraine, in a halfway functioning state, the Jewish Mafia does what it does best: cheap gimmicks, vandalism, nihilistic crimes against humanity. This time in the Kerch strait. Yawn.

”The FSB described the vessels’ transit as ’illegal’, all 24 Ukrainian sailors were sentenced to two months in custody until January 25, 2019.”
That sounds like something that could be spinned as a really moving horror/sob-story: ”Ukrainian freedom sailors languishing in Russian/Moscow/Kremlin/Putin jail in annexed Crimea for Christmas”, LOL.
In USA they’d get years for trivial transgressions…as most Americans probably know…the Great Democracy showing itself in the guise of a Cruel Police State with for-profit “prisons” not so very different from the Gulag, or, closer still, to the Nazi deathcamp industries…
The short duration jail time probably seems quite mild to most working class in USA land…
Russia could probably treat it as a terrorist incident. The terrorists could be then detained in a Gitmo-like camp, indefinitely.
The sods in the boats may be not the best sort, but they’re just pawns…and they are best turned to Russia by being treated fairly and decently within pretty much the least charges that could be brought…the opposite would have been to liquidate the three boats… Precisely what some might have desired,,, It’s part of the Judo…
After Ukraine divides and the rump nazi state eats itself and Novorussia reunites… Yeah, I think so, after that who need old cruelties to haunt the Peace? treating prisoners decently is just good sense and it’s an investment in a decent future…
Meantime, Porky’s jabbering abut “war” and all that stuff…sooooo? I expect that before many months pass we shall see Turkey closing the Straits of OTAN, which is more or less withing the Convention already…http://sam.baskent.edu.tr/belge/Montreux_ENG.pdf (in wartime the rules change!)
Seven Days of Failures for the American Empire

Some parts of interest:
“On November 25, two artillery boats of the Gyurza-M class, the Berdiansk and Nikopol, one tugboat, the Yany Kapu, as well as 24 crew members of the Ukrainian Navy, including two SBU counterintelligence officers, were detained by Russian border forces. In the incident, the Russian Federation employed Sobol-class patrol boats Izumrud and Don, as well as two Ka-52, two Su-25 and one Su-30 aircraft.
Ukraine’s provocation follows the advice of several American think-tanks like the Atlantic Council, which have been calling for NATO involvement in the Sea of Azov for months. The area is strategically important for Moscow, which views its southern borders, above all the Sea of Azov, as a potential flash point for conflict due to the Kiev’s NATO-backed provocations.
To deter such adventurism, Moscow has deployed to the Kerch Strait and the surrounding coastal area S-400 batteries, modernized S-300s, anti-ship Bal missile systems, as well as numerous electronic-warfare systems, not to mention the Russian assets and personnel arrayed in the military districts abutting Ukraine. Such provocations, egged on by NATO and American policy makers, are meant to provide a pretext for further sanctions against Moscow and further sabotage Russia’s relations with European countries like Germany, France and Italy,
As to the the other objectives, they seem to have failed miserably, with Berlin, Paris and Rome showing no intention of imposing additional sanctions against Russia, recognizing the Ukrainian provocation fow what it is. The intention to further isolate Moscow by the neocons, neoliberals and most of the Anglo-Saxon establishment seems to have failed, demonstrated in Buenos Aires with the meeting between the BRICS countries on the sidelines and the bilateral meetings between Putin and Merkel.
The neocons/neoliberals have played one of the last cards available to them using the Ukrainian provocation, with Kiev only useful as the West’s cannon fodder against Russia.
Ukraine’s provocation has only strengthened Russia’s military footprint in Crimea and reinforced Russia’s sovereign control over the region.”
