It is really a testimony to the pathetic state of the US media when one has to watch Foxnews to try to understand what is really going on. In Russian we say, “when there is no fish, even a crab can be considered a fish”. I think that this interview is such a crab.
The Saker
It would appear Biden did a huge favor to Vladimir Putin. By demanding the dismissal of that Ukrainian prosecutor, Biden just confirmed who controls Ukraine.
I see that the smear campaign against the Ukrainian prosecutor, Shokin, that asserted that he was corrupt and all the ‘international community’ wanted him gone, was run by a US PR firm, Blue Star Associates, with past customers like the tobacco and vaping industries. And, of course, the Burisma board was chock full of other Imperial elite parasites, like Alexander Kwasniewski of Poland, an Imperial stooge and Cofer Black, of the CIA, all worthy of Biden’s attentions.

And that mob family thing Pelosi has plenty to keep hidden

Best research on the Biden-Obama crime syndicate’s problems in Ukraine is in the happened web link
I think Fox is completely missing the point. So Biden is corrupt, so what? The real question is: how are they going to deflect the charges against Trump?
Trump made a phone call to the president of Ukraine to ask for corruption evidence on Biden and simultaneously withheld US military aid to Ukraine. What Trump’s detractors are saying is that the two are linked i.e. aid was held up in exchange for the evidence on Biden..
What it looks like is that Trump was a.) soliciting aid from a foreign government for a re-election campaign, and b.) using US government aid to bribe that foreign government….aren’t these impeachable offences?
After whole Russia-gate, Trump should’ve been much more careful about these things.
Hi Serbian girl. You asked “how are they going to deflect the charges against Trump?” The first initial impeachment procedure will begin in Congress, the House, which is controlled by Democrats. Impeachment could easily pass in the House. But to enforce impeachment, the bill to impeach must pass the Senate. And the Republicans control the Senate, and further, impeachment would require a 66% majority. No way the Democrats can win in the Senate.
What is interesting about the current case, is the whistleblower statute was changed 8 days before this “Ukraine-Gate” conspiracy occured. Prior to the change, a whistle blower had to have first hand knowledge of illegal conduct. The change in law no has no requirement of first hand knowledge, it can be second or third hand……this is the smoking gun that shows this current action against Trump is a coup.
It was former Obama CIA director John Brennan that ceded the agency with the anti-Trump resistance. He did this by taking the political appointees, and giving them civil servant status. This was done to destroy any Trump action deemed unacceptable. One will find that this was done thru-out other intelligence agencies.
However, there are many other intelligence agencies found in the military, and civilian sectors that run counter-coup operations. We are watching that play out now.
There is a 21-gun salute of smoking guns that this is a desperate invention, long-prepared by the Dems and their Deep State allies, to get Trump before Barr and Durham get them. Rats eating rats.
If the House votes to impeach Trump, then he is impeached, i.e. he has been indicted. The Senate has no say in the matter; all they can do is to vote to convict or not.
Clinton was impeached and stayed in office. Meaningless.
It is theater, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.
You do not understand the process.
Clinton was impeached (that is he was officially charged with crimes) but he was not convicted in the Senate.
Clinton was found indictable by Starr for ten felonies, and was, subsequently, disbarred from practising law for his perjuries.
An Impeachment is neither an “indictment” nor a “conviction”. It is a vote to essentially bring to the upper chamber (Senate), a charge determined by the majority vote of the house. The Senate requires 2/3 majority vote on the question of “removal from office” of the “impeached” President. Impeachment is a totally political action, that virtually has nothing to do with evidence or committed crimes. The House can literally vote on impeachment every session. Impeachment without the ability to obtain a 2/3 majority in the Senate is considered to be a totally useless procedure that can do nothing but turn potential voters away from voting Democrats in during the upcoming election. The Clinton impeachment was an example of the voter destain for the action as he won in a lopsided victory following his impeachment. Voters don’t like to be “played for fools” and show it at the polls all the time.
Impeachment is the process by which a legislative body levels charges against a government official. Impeachment does not in itself remove the official from office; it is the equivalent to an indictment in criminal law, and thus is only the statement of charges against the official. Once an individual is impeached, they must then face the possibility of conviction on the charges by a legislative vote, which is separate from the impeachment, but flows from it, and a judgment which convicts the official on the articles of impeachment would entail the official’s removal from office.
Because impeachment and conviction of officials involve an overturning of the normal constitutional procedures by which individuals achieve high office (election, ratification, or appointment) and because it generally requires a supermajority, they are usually reserved for those deemed to have committed serious abuses of their office. In the United States, for example, impeachment at the federal level is limited to those who may have committed “Treason, Bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors”
Clinton was impeached after his second electoral victory. Then his VP, Gore, lost the election to Bush, although he was cheated by a corrupt SCOTUS. And Clinton was found guilty by his peers in the legal profession, and disbarred for perjury. Trump may indeed by disbarred by HIS peers, once they are released from gaol.
I think Giuliani is correct when he says that hearsay evidence is inadmissable evidence. In particular in a matter so serious as impeaching a president, you can’t just bring rumors and backstabbing into a court of justice. Unless it is a Kangaroo court.
“The rule against hearsay was designed to prevent gossip from being offered to convict someone.”
That’s right.
Gossip.
That is basically what the new Whistleblower seems to be retailing. Stuff that someone told him.
I am getting this info from the Giuliani comments, so if he is wrong in his characterization of the whistleblower’s info, then my inferences are also wrong.

Katherine
The ‘gossip-blower’ is breaking a higher law-that against bearing false witness. Still, if you did enforce the Ten Commandments in Thanatopolis DC, you’d depopulate the joint.
Serbian Girl,
I don’t think that there is anything to deflect.
There is no evidence that Trump did anything wrong.
Even if there was evidence that Trump had withheld aid (or threatened to withhold aid) in exchange for an investigation of Biden – and there is no evidence of that – that is still not a crime. It is within the power of an American president to obtain information on wrongdoing by government officials. That is what he was doing. And under American law (I am a retired attorney) it makes no difference if he also had a personal motive to get dirt on Biden. The reason for this is as follows. If a person in the executive branch of government is doing something completely lawful, the fact that he has another “ulterior motive” is irrelevant. The law is that way since has to be that way. Otherwise, lawful executive actions would always be subject to challenge on the grounds of “bad motive.” It would allow people to tie up legitimate governmental action with endless inquiries into “real motive.”
On the other hand, you are right. Doing this, like he did, in a phone call was just plain stupid. He should have known that everything he says and does will be subject to scrutiny. Honestly, Trump called Washington “a swamp” but he had no idea just how much of a swamp it was.
The thing that disgusts me about this whole thing is the fact that he has actually done much worse. He embargoed Venezuela. An embargo is considered to be an act of war under international law. Thus, under the doctrines established at Nuremberg, it could be argued that he committed a war crime.
Now, a war crime is certainly a “high crime or misdemeanor” within the meaning of the impeachment clause. The Chief Prosecutor at Nuremberg, Robert Jackson (later a US Supreme Court Justice) called war crimes “the ultimate crime” since war crimes incorporate so many things commonly considered to be crime, such as murder. People have died in Venezuela as a result of the embargo, and that was foreseeable. Thus, Congress could certainly impeach him for his embargo of Venezuela. But that will never happen. The disgusting hypocrites in Congress are every bit as guilty as he is.
This is reading the MSM is so ridiculous. They charge Trump with wanting to “find dirt” on Biden but they could care less about real crimes that are right out in the open.
Everything Trump does is subject to invention and mendacity, not just scrutiny. Schiff’s outrageous, open, and arrogant falsification of Trump’s words in his ‘phone conversation was one of the most vicious disgraces I’ve ever seen, even from US politicians, but the ‘liberal’ media seem not to care, or are pretending that it did not happen, or were, in fact, Trump’s actual words. A sewer full of rabid rats, ripping at each others’ throats. The ‘Leader of the Free World’ in all its glory.
Mike, a good comment. I would add that this “disgusting hypocrisy” is the biggest epitome of our time.
I don´t understand Trumps actions in Venezuela, but what was great that he didn´t start the war on Iran. On the other hand, he didn´t start the (hot)war on Venezuela either.
In any case, I hope that Trump will get re-elected. He´s much, much better choice for us here in Finland than any democrat. You wrote that “he had no idea just how much of a swamp it was.” Well, the swamp(creatures) has long tentacles. After the collapse of Soviet Union small rimlands of Russia, like Finland, Ukraine, Georgia, etc. were used as a bridgeheads against Russia. Without public understanding of the reasons behind. I believe that this was the real reason for the eastward expansion of the EU. Have you ever heard about Eastern Partnership?
https://eap-csf.eu
That´s why also our political elite needs approval of Washington, via Bryssels. Until the crisis of Ukraine, EU was nearly completely controlled by Washington. Things started to slowly change after the mess West created in Ukraine, and influence of Washington is hopefully waning here, but it´s still very strong. That´s easy to see if you read Finnish media, that only parrots the anti-Trump propaganda of liberal democrats of Washington. Our main media is a tribune of Democratic Party of US.
That´s why the worldview of many Finns is so narrow and twisted. Only politicians like Trump can change that. I´m his ardent supporter here in Finland, and don´t care what he tweets or says, and I hope he´s going to win his battle in Washington. Because that cuts the tentacles also in Finland and hopefully we can slowly start to build a new country for us(EU is a lost case). Trump just said that the future belongs to patriots, that´s a good message from the other side of the Atlantic. Make Finland Great Again, well Finland has never been great, but you get the picture:)
I hope that my comment gives you a bit perspective about how some see Trump here in Finland, present world is so complicated, so complicated. It´s really hard to live in a small country where nothing is going to change, whoever you vote. Because we are needed only as a cannon fodder for those who hate Russia. It´s completely sick and evil.
This Biden case is a very good example of it. It´s only a continuation(in Ukraine) of that economical shock therapy that beloved Mother Russia had to face during the nineties.
At the same time political elite boasts about the democracy, human rights, prosperity etc. It´s all lies, lies, lies, lies and more lies. Living in this kind of a society is like a nightmare. I believe that this is the main reason for the school shootings, and drug and alcohol abuse. This western liberal-democracy is like a generator for everything that´s bad and evil. That´s why the system needs the cover, and that´s why this world is full of disgusting hypocrisy.
Prospeller,
You wrote:
I am coming to the same conclusion.
When I was growing up, I felt something was profoundly wrong but I could not describe what it was. I think that this was because I was living within a complete matrix of dishonest. It was so total that I could not see it.
As you say, “lies, lies, lies.”
Absolutely! Capitalism requires the ‘war of all against all’, with no restrictions on greed or vicious social sadism and exploitation directed at others. Thus you get the Amazon thug, worth 116 billion, cutting benefits to his low paid employees, you get the poisoning travesty in Flint still continuing, because the victims are black untermenschen, and a popular culture of debased depravity. On-line child pornography is booming-how Exceptional is that!!
Bribery requires a threat or reward related to the requested action. The phone call contained neither. No reward was offered and Z had not been informed at that time that the aid money was being withheld. There was no threat, implied or explicit, and no bribe was offered. The President had other valid reasons for withholding the aid, and he had ample reason to request (or demand!) an investigation into gross corruption in the office of the previous White House. So where is the extortion/bribery? Only in the fevered imaginations of the most corrupt congress, deep state and news media in US history. This blaring propaganda campaign is just the latest, and so far the lamest, in a series of transparent scams.
I doubt if a “bribery” statute would even apply. I know that there are at least two bribery statutes in the United States Code but I doubt that any bribery statute would be applied involving communications between heads of state.
On the other hand, Federal Prosecutors have given expansive interpretations of statutes in order to find ways to prosecute people. For instance, Federal Prosecutors used to prosecute people under a doctrine called “honest services fraud.” “Honest services fraud” was a totally-prosecutor-invented species of “mail fraud.” People were prosecuted under “honest services fraud” until the Supreme Court held that people could not be prosecuted for “honest services fraud” since there was no such crime.
That is a real problem that Trump (or anyone else who upsets the deep state) has. It is too easy to “get someone” like they did with Flynn, even if they haven’t done anything wrong.
So much for the ‘Rule of Law’.
They couldn’t find that golden parachute, that’s what they did wrong.
But some of us non-rats are caught in the middle of a kind of rugby scrum.
A scrum is well ordered. We find ourselves enmeshed in a ruck.
Here is a link to the Federal Bribery Statute.
It clearly would not apply to this situation since the President of Ukraine is not an American Public Official as required by the Statute.

This whole impeachment thing is just a lot of nonsense.
Serbian girl, the conversation between Trump and Zelensky took place one day after Mueller testified before congress, it mainly dealt with Trump asking for Ukraine’s help in the ongoing investigation into the origins of the Russia-gate hoax. Trump did mention the fact that Biden had been publicly bragging how he forced the Ukrainian president Poroshenko to fire the Ukrainian prosecutor general Viktor Shokin by threatening to withhold $1 billion in aid, and Trump said that if Zelensky could look into the matter that it would be great. At no time did he threaten to withhold any aid to Ukraine. There is nothing illegal or impeachable about what Trump did.
On the contrary what Biden did is criminal. At the time Hunter Biden had been let go by the navy for having tested positive for cocaine. And somehow he managed to get a lucrative job, $50,000 / month with the Ukrainian gas company Burisma, despite not knowing anything about the gas industry. Burisma was being investigated by Viktor Shokin for corruption. Biden forced Poroshenko to fire Shokin.
There is an ongoing investigation to determine who was behind the Russia-gate hoax and I believe the main objective of this impeachment maneuver is to impede this investigation.
“There is an ongoing investigation to determine who was behind the Russia-gate hoax and I believe the main objective of this impeachment maneuver is to impede this investigation.”
Right.
Ukraine seems to be deeply involved on a number of levels with elements of the Obama administration.
The Russiagate hoax is a product of the Obama administration operatives of various sorts, includingn the VP and Hillary clinton. the hoax has been enormously damaging to the president—and hence to the whole country.
Since Trump’s election and his apparant veerings and contradictory tweets, etc. a whole cottage industry has grown up to try to figure out how much of Trump’s actions as pres have been responses to the constant political pressure he has been under. And or how much traceable just to his own narcissism/incompetence/racism/what have you. But the former possibility is quite real.
Hence it is an issue of national security and importance to get to the bottom of who was behind Russiagate, who had any hand in it at any point. It is not purely personal.
Once again Trump’s enemies seem to conveniently forget that Trump is the **president of the United States.** In their derangement they are in denial as to to this very simple point.
They still cannot move on but are still in the anger stage, battling fate and bargaining to make fate work the way they want. They cannot accept reality. They are living in a dream world.
I maly not like the Trump reality, but I am not wasting my time trying to reset the clock
They are still fighting the 2016 campaign.
They think of Trump as a private person whom they hate.
They cannot get to stage 5, acceptance. **
**Five stages of grief: denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance.

“Ukraine seems to be deeply involved on a number of levels with elements of the Obama administration.”
Of course it was involved, it was the Obama administration that orchestrated a coup that installed the Poroshenko government, whose members grew up hating Russia. That’s why the mainstream media avoids talking about Ukraine, they don’t want the public to catch on as to what really took place there. The Poroshenko government was indebted to the Obama administration, and it was willing to do its part to discredit Trump.
The people who suffer from Trump derangement syndrome are victims of many years of social engineering; they’ve been conditioned by the MSM to hate Trump. They will never accept Trump. They cannot reason; their world is based on emotions; their world is based on an ideology filled with contradictions which they ignore. The fact that their country is killing innocent people with its sanctions and bombs is beyond their grasp, all they know is that Trump is a threat to their dystopian world.
” their world is based on an ideology filled with contradictions which they ignore.”
In other words: mass cognitive dissonance.
There are some very interesting legal issues involved here.
Suppose that Barr find evidence of a clear conspiracy to bring false charges against Trump in order to – in effect – nullify his election.
It would seem to me that that would be the crime of sedition. Sedition is a very serious offense.
So far so good.
But suppose that the conspiracy extends to members of the media. Then it becomes really interesting. The media might claim the protection of the First Amendment. But nothing in the First Amendment protects the commission of crimes. Of course, the media would try to obscure this issue and a lot of people might be fooled into thinking that this is an attack on the media, rather than simple enforcement of the law.
This could get very interesting.
From day one, I have thought that this was a knowing attempt by members of the media (among others) to overturn the results of the election. I don’t see why they should be any more immune to prosecution than you or me.
What I think gets missed in this whole “impeachment” discussion is the underlying motive of the puppet masters.
That motivation is the ginning up of a civil war within the continental USA. The more convoluted and idiotic the cognitive dissonance being generated by the dem’s wailing and gnashing of teeth the better that objective is served.
Go back to Netanyahu’s quoted words about using the USA until it was all used up. With the revelations of Russian, Chinese and Iranian weapons advances and the demonstration by the Houthis of the impotence of American weapons systems against them just recently in Saudi Arabia, I would say the USA’s relationship with the shitty little Zionist state was one that now offers dwindling returns on the Zionist investment. Epstain’s operational demise plays into this as well.
It would be interesting to keep tabs on the number of one way tickets to Tel Aviv purchased by dual citizens in .gov positions. When that starts an identifiable trend upwards it will be game on.
(Just the observations of a cow herder with too much time on his hands at the other end of the planet)
The USA has treaties with Ukraine and Austfailia, as is near universal in international relations between advanced countries, where the parties pledge to assist each other in investigating criminal matters. The US A-G Barr, is investigating possible criminal activities in regard to Ukrainian and Austfailian figures, so co-operation is not ‘coerced’ or forced, by mandatory, by prior agreement.
“What it looks like is that Trump was a.) soliciting aid from a foreign government for a re-election campaign”
Well, what RG says is that Biden is not yet a candidate for president, he is a potential candidate.
So suggesting an investigation of him is for PAST corruption, when he was the VP.
It is not interference in an election.
Plenty of Dems have stated that Trump’s failure to produce his tax returns is a reason to impeach him.
Whether or not that is true, it is certainly analogous in a sense with Trump’s push to investigate the Ukraine-Biden connection.
And persoanlly I dont’ think it matters in the context of the campaign, because Biden is toast anyhow.
‘But the attempt to use Trump’s suggestion to investigate teh Ukraine-DC corruption pipeline as a weapon against Trump is the latest iteration of the “Get Trump” mission of the Dems since before the 2016 election.
As a president under constant attack from his political adversaries in the US Congress, the media, academia, and elsewhere, I think many would say he has the right of self-defense.
And please, do not confuse a defense of Trump’s right to defend himself as a defense of the obnoxious things Trump has done. But the Dems at this point are more dangerous to this Republic than Trump. All they have is impeachment.
Someone sent a quote to me today (this person also a despairing progressive, one who sees his PHD friends’ brains being turned to mush by Trump Derangement Syndrome):
“Congressman Green of TX put it quite precisely, “If we do not impeach this President, he will be re-elected!”
https://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2019/05/06/al_green_im_concerned_if_we_dont_impeach_this_president_he_will_get_re-elected.html
That pretty much sez it all.
Katherine
It’s simple-if the Ukrainians obey the treaty on law enforcement that they have with the USA, and aid the US Attorney-General’s lawful investigation, and find nothing wrong in Biden’s conduct, nor that of his son, and no conspiracy by Ukrainian regime and oligarch interests to sabotage Trump since 2016, then it redounds to Biden’s favour. However, the Dems know that any honest investigation will reveal their, not Trump’s, corruption allied to foreign forces-fascistic and neo-Nazi ones to boot. Hence the hysteria.
In a sane world, Biden should in fact be prosecuted for extortion of Ukraine, when he inserted himself into an investigation in Ukraine’s internal affairs, to get a ruling that not only benefited the US but benefited himself and his son. This really outrageous, and it’s been common knowledge since it happened (well common knowledge in the sense that it was reported on at the time.
In a sane world, Trump should have prosecuted Clinton as he promised to do, and in a sane world. Obama should have prosecuted Bush for his illegal wars as well as 911.
In a sane world, the US would not have stages a coup in Ukraine in the first place. And in a sane world, the US would not under any circumstances provide any aid or weapons to Ukraine’s kleptocratic and murderous coup government.
So Trump should have just asked to get info about the Biden/Burisma case, although all he would need to do is do some google searching since it’s all well known. With no quid pro quo for weapons at all. That is ‘sorry no weapons for you…follow the Minsk agreements”.
But we are not living in a sane world, so the relative misdemeanor of Trump in this situation makes the headlines while the coup itself and the illegal sanctions which are far more consequential get zero attention.
It is my understanding that since slick Willy Clinton there has been an agreement or treaty between the U.S. and Ukraine to share information regarding corrupt individuals. There is nothing criminal in Trump asking Zelenski for information on Biden and his son if such existed. I can imagine that Zelenski is in quite a spot, being surrounded by corrupt individuals, some of whom may have funded him. As to Trump withholding arms purchases as a way to twist his arm, this is normal operating procedure in intergovernmental affairs.
People who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.
” There is nothing criminal in Trump asking Zelenski for information on Biden and his son if such existed”
And what is the Mueller investigation but a fishing trip to try to get information aka dirt on Trump in any fashion possible?
Katherine
No Serbian girl,
It appears you don’t have all the facts:
1)Giuliani started and completed his investigation before Biden announced that he was running, therefore the Trump team was not is any violation regarding “an election opponent”
2)During the call, the Ukrainian side was allegedly not aware that the US had suspended the new military aid they were about to discuss (this was something that was occurring internally within the US system). So that would preclude quid pro quo. As far as the Ukrainian side was concerned, the aid was on its way, and they were just discussing some details about acquiring US Anti tank missiles, etc. Therefore there was no threat; aid would only continue. The Ukrainians agreed to review prosecution of Burisma and the Soros owned shell company also protected by the firing of the original prosecutor.
3)The discussion about the prosecution scandal, was initiated by zelenski not trump.
4)Biden doesn’t get a pass for being a corrupt mafia shake down artist just because he’s running for president, that’s the reasoning that allowed the Clintons get away with their crimes. Trump is making an excellent point (yes also a self serving point, since he let Hillary go when he should have put every pressure to get her jailed). But I’ll take what I can get. Trumps point is, why should democrats get a complete amnesty for the very things his team has been persecuted for?
The fact that they’ve backed Trump into corner and made it clear that they intend to destroy him unless he destroys them, may finally lead to a partial clean up of the US system of the incredibly corrupt factions that have usurped that country’s control. This situation seems to have enraged Trump (finally) and he has shown aggression like we haven’t seen before. So far he’s winning: many parts of the deep state narrative appear to falling apart, it has been revealed, that rules regarding hearsay evidence being admissible were changed just for this “whistle blower “, the testimony of ambassador Volker has torpedoed the quid pro quo argument. And now Trump has doubled down and wants even more investigation of the Biden’s and other Obama era personnel. First time the looney left of the US is getting a doubling down back in their face.
Now Trump is calling their bluff and demanding a full vote by Pelosi for impeachment against him. That is an offensive position, and he’s promising to go after the rest of these internal plants in the US security apparatus. At least we can hope (but I wouldn’t hold my breath).
Either way the deep state of the US has been greatly weakened, exposed to the American public and to the rest of the world (who’ll think thrice before engaging in long term deals with this pseudo anarchy).
Hello. It is a good idea to read the transcript of the call. There were several people listening in, as usual. The US and Ukraine have had, since 1998, a treaty of mutual interest in criminal matters. It was actually the job of the President to ask for assistance in the investigation of the alleged corruption in the Ukraine r/t US officials in 2014-15 and also to ask about Crowdstrike, which is owned by a Ukrainian and was very influential in the (non) investigation of the Democratic Committee email hacking and events thereafter.
At no time, as you will note if and when you read the transcript, did Mr. Trump request aid for a re-election campaign. As far as withholding money from the Ukraine, (which was released before this all started) that was related to the EU contributions and nobody knew about it during the telephone call in July. Certainly not the Ulrainians, so bribery is not in it.
But, lizzie-you’re bring facts to a bullshit fight. Naughty you. Think like a MSNBC harridan-be inventive and hysterical.
Hi Serbian girl —
No one disputes that the Ukrainians tried, repeatedly, to reach the new Tump Admistration about Democrat pressure to “dig-up-dirt” on Donald Trump and Paul Manaforte — but were repeatedly stymied by Deep State operatives in Kiev (e.g. the US Ambassador refused the grant their courier a Visa), more interference in New York (where their paper work disappeared) and yet again with the Department of Justice in DC.
In the end, the Ukrainian government hired a US lawyer to barge into the Secretary of State’s office in DC. An assistant to Mike Pompeo contacted Rudy Giuliani and asked him to meet with President Zelenski’s representative in Madrid, Spain. There Giuliani learned that the Ukrainians feared the interference they were experiencing was a result of White House annoyance with them for the election dirt on Manaforte and for re-opening corruption inquiries into Burisma crimes.
Giuliani rushed back to DC and spoke with President Trump and Pompeo’s staff. At that point, President Trump phoned President Zelenski to assure him of his goodwill, his admiration for Zelenski’s campaign pledge to fight corruption and so on. Apropos of the arms delay, he explained he was angry with the EU for not helping to pay a part, but that these were now in transit. You have access to the full phone call transcript.
President Trump could have cited a US-Ukraine 2000 Treaty of mutual assistance in fighting crime, but that is not his style. Instead, he said that the Ukrainians should work with his Attorney General in their corruption investigations, while they might help Barr on his.
The Democratic Party feasted on Ukrainian money. Pelosi, Schiff and others all received campaign financing from fundraisers held in Kyiv. Trump has trapped them. The Democrats have screamed ‘Russia’ for 3 years then the Muller Report was released: crickets. Nothing.
Desperate, the Democrats were susceptible to a trap. Everyone knew Biden made out like a bandit via his son. It was common knowledge. What wasn’t common knowledge was that he bragged about it in front of the Council on Foreign Relations. Now it is. Now, for the next 9 months, Trump and the right get to pound the Democrats and the loony left with ‘UKRAINE CORRUPTION’, ‘CHINA CORRUPTION: BILLIONS OF $’
The Democratic party is toast. Expect to see Schiff, Nadler and a host of others, possibly Pelosi, go down in flames. All of them have massive Net Worths that they have accumulated over decades. Pelosi is worth $140 million from all the greasy ‘treason’ money she accepted from China and Ukraine. Dianne Feinstein had a Chinese driver who ‘stole’ tons of classified information, over years, while she simultaneously got richer and richer and richer.
Now, to be fair, BOTH parties are corrupt. Trump, however, has been purging the Republican Party: notice Eric Cantor and Paul Ryan are gone? Others have retired and vanished into private life never to be heard from again. More are leaving. One resigned before being sentenced for insider trading.
Anyone who doesn’t think that military intelligence and civilian intelligence are at war isn’t paying attention. The C_A is getting a@@pounded by Military Intelligence. Seen any senior military intel types being forced out? Nope. But there’s Brennan, fired in disgrace, sniping from the sidelines and showing up on MSNBC to deliver the DeepStates position. It is pathetic to watch these scum NOT have the self-respect to just go away.
Brennan et al cannot ‘go away’. The Deep State is the State and has been since they murdered JFK. The Trump hate campaign is determined to stop a rapprochement with Russia, because Russia MUST be turned, to join the Great Holy Crusade-the destruction of the Yellow Peril of China. These creatures will destroy the world before they allow a non-Western, non Judeo-Christian, non-White power to lead it.

I have to admit Giuliani was weak. He really didn’t present that evidence very well.
But the quote from the Godfather that he was struggling with was:
He had to “wet his beak.”
That is an old Italian saying meaning, “get a piece of the action.”
That quote was not in the movie. It is a quote from the book.
Hi Mike,
Giuliani has given several interviews since this clip and before this clip, he has strong evidence including the illegal money transfer trail Hunter Biden used to get the money from Ukraine to the US. He also revealed that his team intends to sue, personally, individuals within the media, the fbi, and Democratic Party involved in this cover up. I would not agree with you he has been weak, you need to watch all of his interviews, particularly the one with that egotistical liar Laura Ingraham, where he practically took over her show and shouted over her to make sure she didn’t interrupt him (her interruptions are endemic to her show because of her narcissistic personality).
Saker, is right, you know things are really bad when you have to watch detestable Fox News hurray patriot hypocrites like the obnoxious Laura ingraham or the “exceptionalist” cheerleader, Hannity, to get a glimpse of the truth.
Yeah Lutsenko is a crook. He refused to prosecute the killers (Medvedko and Polischuk) of Oles’ Buzina (Ukrainian writer).
The Saker notes:
It is really a testimony to the pathetic state of the US media when one has to watch Foxnews to try to understand what is really going on.”
That is exactly what I have been thinking.
I feel ashamed to go onto the Fox News website. But the rest of the MSM has stepped through the looking glass. Everything is backwards for the rest of the MSM. Instead of doing the obvious – investigating the Bidens – they are trying to impeach the investigator.
For years, I have been saying that the United States simply can’t get any crazier.
But every time I say that – they just get crazier.
FoxNews’s ideology revolts me, but they proceed with their misbegotten ‘arguments’ more or less rationally, whereas MSNBC and CNN, and the Guardian house utter lunatics whose favourite expression seems to be ‘conspiracy theory’. Their thought processes follow no logic or rationality, just deranged hatred. I agree that Trump is bad news, but their animus is quite psychotic. And it just works in his favour, I fear.
Hahahha, this is getting better by the day. Names of ukronazis crooks are popping out as meerkats. Like the fact he even cited Godfather line!
It looks to me that maybe the CIA is finally starting to lose its grip, and its hallowed aura of invincibility. Starting, that is. If we are seeing the empire collapse then its political mafia (CIA) can’t forever retain its fearsome god-like status. Trump sure has got someone in the deep state running scared. Frightened people get desperate, make stupid mistakes and react from an obvious fear motive. This arouses even further suspicion of their guilt. Trump reminds me of an old saying that applies to effective policing. “If you want to catch a really bad villain it often pays to employ another villain.” Villians at war with each other. I sometimes get the impression that there is some form of creative magic at work in America. It seems historically built in to the fabric of the nation. To quote Leonard Cohen the songwriter. It is the crack in the liberty bell that lets the daylight in. I have been hungering for this spectacle for a long time. It makes living here in this wild and crazy circus at the center of the global village almost worth all the shit that comes with it. Thank you Saker for this interview.
I think you are right, if this guy was true cia he would have prosecuted the case personally against Trump, since he lawyer’d up, he has taken an investigative role and therefore was nothing more than undercover fbi. To portray him as cia only dings the cia and their ability to prosecute big cases.
What do we have here ? Fox News being democratic, proving it’s a free media outlet ? With Biden probably out of the way, the road is open for Hillary to participate in the 2020 elections. Apparently we shall get a rematch of the 2016 elections.
I have told several of late, including Saker and Larchmonter, that Kankles will run again. Biden is being conveniently shoved aside, so who else is there but Kankles to arrive wrapped in a saint’s robe and riding a white horse. Or in her case, riding a white gurney whilst her ‘aids’ keep shoving chemicals in her so she don’t fall over.

History repeats, first as tragedy, then as farce, and Trump wins again! However, I’ve not yet seen Clinton’s name mentioned, although the others are being picked off, one by one.
It looks like they will run Warren.
but who as VP?
Sanders and Warren would be somthing I coujld vote for.
Not happily, but I would do it. (Unlike Biden).
We’ll see . . .
Katherine
Sanders after heart surgery? Warren will do an Obama once elected, so the Veep is irrelevant. It’ll be some Rightwing blue dog, I suppose.
“If you don’t read the paper (media) you are uninformed. If you read the paper, you are misinformed”. Mark Twain.
I “read” all media and try to remain calm. I have no party or hero allegiances to blind my vision. I listen to the words but give weight to actions. My “Great Awakening” to the dishonesty of media came while in combat. We had taken huge losses in my battalion over a three day period. The military “newspaper” Stars and Stripes gave casualty reports on a weekly basis. They spread out our losses over about a month (Nov 66′) to mask the carnage. That was maybe my first real wakeup call.
The clip on Rudy Guilliani…………I was never a fan of his, especially when I started seeing what 911 really was and how it was perpetrated. But, lately I’ve come to respect how he is handling the situation surrounding the attempted coup against Trump. I would think that he is compromised in some way from the past……but just maybe he thinks, “To hell with it all, I’ve nothing to lose, let’s attack the scum wherever they may be.
Giuliani made his original stripes with successful prosecutions of organized crime figures and breaking up the Five Families in the 1980s. The fact that he was also of Italian extraction made it all the more interesting. And was a subtle point in his favor, I believe, in getting the convictions he aimed at.
I was living in NYC in those days. I recall when Paul Castellano was gunned down outside his favorite steakhouse . . . John Gotti strutting about . . . It was pretty wild.
https://www.nydailynews.com/new-york/mob-boss-paul-castellano-assassinated-30-years-article-1.2467098
He also conducted other very successful prosecutions.
This was the basis of Giuliani’s successful campaign for mayor and his political career.
He started as a Democrat. Then turned independent. Before becoming a Republican.
At that time I was horrified that anyone would transform from a Dem to a Repug. Now I am no longer horrified, even though I am not in favor of Repug policies. But the Dem party also seems hollow.
Anyhow, Giuliani has had some pretty dumb public moments.
But he certainly—well, I believe—he proved himself as an effective prosecutor.
I speculate that it is that Giuliani that we are seeing now, technically a defense lawyer but taking a prosecutorial stance.
katherine
From Wiki entry:
“According to an FBI memo revealed in 2007, leaders of the Five Families voted in late 1986 on whether to issue a contract for Giuliani’s death.[47] Heads of the Lucchese, Bonanno, and Genovese families rejected the idea, though Colombo and Gambino leaders, Carmine Persico and John Gotti, encouraged assassination.[48][49] In 2014, it was revealed by former Sicilian Mafia member and informant, Rosario Naimo, that Salvatore Riina, a notorious Sicilian Mafia leader, had ordered a murder contract on Giuliani during the mid-1980s. Riina allegedly was suspicious of Giuliani’s efforts prosecuting the American Mafia and was worried that he might have spoken with Italian anti-mafia prosecutors and politicians, including Giovanni Falcone and Paolo Borsellino, who were both murdered in 1992 in separate car bombings.[50][51] According to Giuliani, the Sicilian Mafia offered $800,000 for his death during his first year as mayor of New York in 1994.[52][53
Trump is doing the same thing he did in Russiagate, that is, panic and lawyer up. He was only saved because it was not true and lots of outsiders published the truth. It should have taken a few months, not 2 years to get to the truth about Russiagate. He should be taking action and sacking many people in the FBI and CIA. Why is Bloody Gina still CIA chief? She lied about the Brit false flag in the Skripal incident, which means she is an incompetent or a traitor. Yet there she stays. Trump may survive because this second CIA attempted coup will be botched by the Democrats incompetence, but the Empire is melting down at the core. The whore of Babylon is finally getting her just desserts.
You didn’t watch the video either. You really should, since I assume you respect Saker as much as the rest of us do. The real clincher in Giuliani’s argument here is that he had all of the legal documentation on this case long before the Russiagate probe was found to be inconclusive. He had brought it to the attention of government agencies and been ignored. So, both he and Trump waited, and only after that probe, only then did Trump approach Zelensky requesting Ukraine to investigate how Russiagate came about, as his Department of Justice is investigating what went into that. There is nothing improper about this, and no quid pro quo. And no hearsay ‘evidence’! He has legal, sworn affidavits to present, and has presumably already presented them.
This is one of the documents Rudi Giuliani has, a sworn affidavit by former Ukrainian Prosecutor Viktor Shokin (the one who was Biden bragging about him getting fired):

Taking down Trump is a CIA operation, and Ukraine is a major base for CIA operations since Reinhard Gehlen brought the ex nazi collaborators as assets into the CIA.
What is the connection between Gehlen and the Ukraine?
I just da video from Amazing Polly that traces Gehlen’s organization as the forerunner of the German Bundesnachrichtendienst (German intelligence agency), but she didn’t mention any connections to Ukraine (she was not focusing on the Ukraine in her video).
Katherine
The Gehlen Organisation ran Nazi intelligence ops in Eastern Europe, including Ukraine. The CIA had fascistic guerillas operating in Ukraine until 1952, and, of course, they aided and abetted Ukronazi, OUN, fascists to escape after WW2 to sanctuary in the West, whence they have emerged, decades later, to spread fascist ideology like a leprous ‘blowback’, that is now afflicting their patron and protector, the USA. I love the smell of Nemesis in the morning!
After the war the OSS wanted to integrate the German spy network (thousands of agents, tens of thousands collaborators), and Gehlen made a deal with the Dulles brothers, together they founded the CIA. They had not enough money to pay all the agents, so they offered them American citizenship instead. To protect them from nazi hunters, they used material produced by Gehlen to make up the Russian menace so nazis became the the lesser evil compared with the communists and got protection and visas. Nazi collaborators and their successors became a major asset in “fighting communism”, they were useful in breaking up Yugoslavia and later in taking over the Ukraine.
There is a good book from the 80ies telling the story: Blowback by C. Simpson. The son of the man who was tasked by JFK to break up the CIA is reading it out in a YouTube series:
https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLNUxLL378x0pJuoZu6Z-TBfr4UVAqd05O
Thanks. I’ll look for Blowback.
Seems like the Gehlen Group is an important link to understanding why a small “backwater” country, Ukraine, is now assuming such a central role in power plays in the USA. Which otherwise does seem kind of weird and incredible and food for “conspiracy theory” charges.
Maybe the Saker could publish someone writing on this.
And of course there is the gas. Great comment at Moon of Alabama explaining a lot of that background and the relation of pipeline and fracking politics to the Maidan (this comment quotes quite a lot of MSM commentary, then critiques it). I don’t know the ethics of reprinting a comment form another blog, but I sure would like to.
Here is the headline and first graf of the comment, which is #1:
HOW BIDEN’S SON HUNTER ALMOST STARTED WORLD WAR 3
For the last 75 years Eastern Europe and much of Western Europe has relied on a constant flow of cheap hydrocarbon fuel from Russia. Russia has made huge efforts to guarantee the reliability of this supply. For most of the time Eastern Europe received this energy practically for free. In Western Europe reliable Russian natural gas supplies have enabled the phasing out of high-CO2 coal and even of nuclear energy. In Ukraine and the rest of the Soviet Union gas replaced firewood. This enabled urbanization and turning most land over to agriculture.

Here is the thread:

Katherine
Good timeline in the MoA article. And the comments together are almost giving the bigger picture: Soviet-era weapons worth billions sold to terrorists, former CIA official Cofer Black at Burisma board, oligarchs/mobsters, oil and gas, and the CIA outlet Crowdstrike.
The takedown of Trump needed much spying and hacking – that was Crowdstrike’s task. 68 Ukrainian hackers and compromize-girls were invited to Washington under the guise of being “investigative journalists”.
Selling weapons is a major income source for the CIA since the beginning, mostly for drugs (Laos in the fifties, Iran-Contra, Mexican cartels, Afghanistan) and for oil (Libya, Iraq, Africa). The tribes, terrorists, cartels or warlords that sell the oil or drugs have to buy weapons to protect the fields and pipelines. Oil companies are a good cover because they move heavy machinery. Ukraine could move big weapons with the Antonovs and Iljushins (now Azerbaijan’s Silk Way Airlines took over the job, http://armswatch.com/350-diplomatic-flights-carry-weapons-for-terrorists). Although most of these weapons are now produced in Pakistan, Bulgaria and Serbia, Ukraine has still weapons to sell: high-tech from the USA (I bet there will be some Javelins on the international market in the next weeks).
Whenever you see people on the board of companies that are CIA-connected, or mobsters or oligarchs, or are relatives of politicians (like Biden at Burisma or Paul Pelosi at Viscoil Group and NRGLab) – they are there to make sure that their party gets the agreed share (it is difficult to sue for a share in illegal profits).
I think the flow of natural gas to Europe was not that important – the CIA doesn’t care about American interests, and the pipelines are braking anyway because the billions needed for maintenance will never get invested.
Right, show me any one of these talking heads that actually spoke out against the maidan. One, just one will do. None of them did, so they are just throwing their own under the bus – as it suits them politically today.
Biden and co are very very bad. Well, there are a few more that are very very bad, like most of the US diplomatic core and most of the US support for maidan. I don’t see Victoria Nuland or any of the others on the ‘fuck the EU’ call’ on the hot seat here – only the Bidens who were incredibly stupid enough to brag about their part. Where was Guiliani? Nowhere and now he is screaming Biden Bad! Its a faction fight.
The interesting thing in all this for me is that Assange gets jailed for his whistleblowing and yet the respective ‘elite’ tribes rat each other out with no real chance of either facing any kind of real justice. How much more in your face does it have to get before people demand some kind of action against all this blatant corruption? You can bet your bottom dollar that it will be business as usual at the next election with the usual crazed folk holding their democrat / republican placards in awe of these vile creatures.
My sentiments exactly. Fox News and all the Murdoch media cancer’s opinions are anathema to me, but in this case they are presenting real evidence that the ‘liberal’ media sewer either ignores (eg the US court finding that the Russian Government had no proven links to the IRA troll-farm)or lies about or dismisses as ‘conspiracy theory’ (just about every inconvenient truth). In fact the words ‘conspiracy theory’ have become a sure sign that information is accurate, truthful and, therefore, hated by the ruling elites. The degree of hysteria surrounding this utterly vapid Ukrainegate invention shows, I would say, that the Deep State of the Five Eyes is scared tripeless that Barr and Durham are turning over rocks that were going to be left undisturbed if Hillary had won.The Guardian sewer, as befits a thorough-going MI6 organ, is behaving disgracefully, with ludicrous bias, mendacity and hypocrisy ie business as usual. And is not the ‘Integrity Initiative’ of proven liars with NO integrity whatsoever, the perfect Orwellian usage, down there with the Ministry of Truth.
The very fact that they even needed to change the whistleblower (I typed whistlegate at first – well, yes, that’s what this impeachment effort is!) law to include hearsay evidence should be enough to indicate that something huge is being covered up here – that is so blatantly against normal jurisprudence, as Giuliani pointed out in this interview. I thought he did a good job. My thanks to Saker.
Julian
The very fact that they even needed to change the whistleblower (I typed whistlegate at first – well, yes, that’s what this impeachment effort is!)
Whistlegate!
The informant is, as has been noted, a ‘gossip-blower’, not a whistler.
The whistler’s a mother.
Trump’s bizarre behavior vindicates my deepest suspicions during the election – Trump is not just an unwitting scapegoat, he is a participant in the game, playing a theatrical role, a bumbling villain. In the script, he is the anti-globalist who trips over his own hubris and causes the downfall of the American empire. He is playing the pig-headed conservative that proves once and for all why conservative philosophy is “evil” and why the leftists were right all along. Part of his job is to co-opt the liberty movement, redirect its energies into pointless pursuits, and to make us look ridiculous or dangerous by the end of his presidency.
http://www.alt-market.com/index.php/articles/3949-trump-cannot-be-anti-globalist-while-working-with-global-elites?fbclid=IwAR3xA-vsZ3LCaqJAgw1w1xCHDI1FYYTcna8CYXEvmqWbZG6l-BESMDMcXyc
But you are ridiculous and dangerous, Blanche-you are! The liberty movement?? What dat?
I think Trump’s use of Twitter is a masterstroke. Without that conduit how could his voice be heard.?

No good guys, just bad, badder and baddest.
That is because they are not journalists. Nor are they principled editorialists. They are propagandists.

Trump was very dumb mentioning domestic stuff in a phone call with Zé. After Russiagate he should be very careful dealing with such subjects in foreign afairs. Then he made the content of the phone call public! So I wonder who would still trust US authorities enough to hold delicate phone calls. US has became a liability, in every single aspect: weaponizing dolar, disseminating porn, breaking basic rules of diplomacy denying VISA to diplomats to attend UN sessions in NY, threading bombing every one all the time, … , and lately publishing phone calls between the POTUS and other presidents. Bloody hell!
Zé maybe thought he could mis-speak France and German in a private phone call with Trump… he finished screwing himself!
About impeachment of Trump, I think it is unlikely to happen, but his term finished. No one can govern under such conditions…
Trump is too primary to be in politics.

Russia’s Novaya Gazeta Drops Documents That Show Ukrainians Transferred $3.4 Million in Criminally Obtained Money to Hunter Biden’s Business Accounts
Russia’s independent Novaya Gazeta published a devastating piece Tuesday on corrupt the Ukrainian oligarchs who are involved with the Burisma Holdings company in Ukraine.
According to Novaya Gazeta corrupt Ukrainians transferred criminally obtained money to Hunter Biden’s Rosemont Seneca accounts.
Novaya Gazeta even produced a document that shows $3.4 million was paid out to Hunter Biden… $3.4 million!
Two months after he was fired from the US Navy for drug use Hunter Biden was placed on the Burizma board and soon was making $50,000 per month.
Here is the document of payment published by Novaya Gazeta.
https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/wp-content/uploads/payment-hunter-biden-450×600.jpg
The article is short, so after the photo, the rest of the text:
DOCUMENT (WITH TRANSLATION INTO RUSSIAN)
“Between 11/18/2014 and 10/16/2015 with the market number 26500183732001 (USD currency) of the company“ BURISMA HOLDINGS LIMITED ”at AS“ PRIVATBANK ”for the company number 40611172 of the company“ ROSEMONT SENECA BOHAI LLC ”… 40 pence worth 7 worth 7 worth 3 82 US Dolar, ak i toil zlochinne adventures , priznachennyam of payment “for konsultativni Hotel.”
According to Gazeta the Ukrainians not only paid Hunter Biden millions of dollars but the money was laundered funds of a criminal organization in the amount of $3.9 million.
Novaya Gazeta reported:
The Ukrainian company Burisma, owned by a colleague of Yanukovych, invited Biden’s son to the board of directors immediately after the fall of Yanukovych. Hunter Biden received 50 thousand dollars a month. After the Ukrainian prosecutor general Shokin opened a criminal case against Burizma, Biden Sr. insisted on dismissing Shokin, threatening to stop a $ 1 billion loan to Ukraine. Voluntarily or involuntarily, the US vice president acted as the “roof” of Burisma…
…The position of the investigation is that this purchase was paid with money obtained by criminal means, and it was precisely this money, “acquired by a malicious hat in especially large proportions”, that Nikolai Zlochevsky was allowed to pay to the members of the Board of Directors of Burisma. In particular, 1 million euros was transferred to the account of the ex-president of Poland, Alexander Kwasniewski, and 3,404,712.82 dollars was transferred to the account of Rosemont Seneca, which represented Hunter Biden.
Will the DOJ or Congress investigate this?”
Oh, forgive me!
This might help Orange Man Bad go more on the offensive against the Deep State….and keep from getting impeached. We can’t have that!

What is interesting about the current case, is the whistleblower statute was changed 8 days before this “Ukraine-Gate” conspiracy occured. Prior to the change, a whistle blower had to have first hand knowledge of illegal conduct. The change in law no has no requirement of first hand knowledge, it can be second or third hand……this is the smoking gun that shows this current action against Trump is a coup.
anti human powers that.,gave rise to north korea, freed vietnum from communism ,gave safety to the great biblical nation of israel, made trade in arabian black gold beneficial to humanity via the petro $,gave true freedom to modern iran, gave multicipilty to yugoslavia, freed afghanistan from terrorists and drug trade, took away WMD from evil saddam, freed libyians from slavery, saved ukrine from evil putin, saving syrians from assad ala the barrel bomber,….is throwing a hissing fit, cause the commander in chief of the largest bad ass, ”gentler kinder machine gun hand” PENTAGON is not getting on with the programme.
NYCity Mayor Giuliani was the man who perverted the cause of Justice by ordering the destruction of thousands of tons of evidence from the biggest terrorist atrocity in history; and he was complicit in the release of the most obvious suspects at the crime scene: “the dancing Israelis” who were caught cheering the destruction, and found to be driving an unmarked van which carried explosives.
Why is he not in jail? And what is his testimony worth if he has not expiated his crimes?
Not to mention that he is a well payed regular speecher at MEK meetings, along with Bolton…

That this man has any idea of justice is a joke…. the same goes for his represented….
Yes-Guiliani is slime, but is what he has found true-whatever that means.
Doctor, where would you find an honest man or woman in US politics, let alone one who would not crawl over broken glass to kiss a Zionazi posterior? Guiliani is just proving useful in illuminating Deep State machinations. A ‘useful bastard’, not, perhaps, an ‘idiot’.
Well, good. I hope he does have an abundance of incriminating evidence. Obama, Clinton and the fool Biden didn’t just make some crooked backroom financial and political deals, they cost the lives of countless innocents with their policies and put the entire Earth on a hair trigger for a nuclear Armageddon. I hope somebody’s got the goods on Dubya and Cheney to send them to prison for life as well. There must be millions of ghosts, grotesquely ripped from this world, wanting justice against these and other murdering American master minds.
I’m no Fox News ( and certainly not a Zio-Hannity fan ), but give this guy a little credit. I think this guy is the reason that the witch isn’t sitting in the Oval Office and… news is news. I haven’t seen any of the other channels touching this ( more likely running interference on behalf of the dems still ) and even some of the really credible ( and underpaid ) journos didn’t have this.
Anyway, love your site and credit where it’s due.
