The English word ‘gut’ is rich in its range of meanings. In Biology, ‘gut’ means ‘intestine’ – as in ‘gut bacteria’ or ‘gutting a fish’; this meaning extends to the racquet strings used in sports such as tennis and badminton. In common usage, ‘guts’ refers to ‘courage’, as in ‘having the guts to take on the huge challenge of _______’ (fill in your favourite).
A ‘gut reaction’ is an instinctive reaction – as in ‘my gut reaction was not to get involved’. Someone largely devoid of ‘gut reactions’ is said to be insensitive, sluggish, or even zombie-like. On the other hand, highly sensitive persons may even exhibit physiological symptoms caused by their strong ‘gut reactions’. The phrase ‘gut-wrenching’ refers to an experience which evokes intense ‘gut reaction’.
There is no doubt therefore that ‘gut’ is an Interesting word; indeed, so interesting that we shall throw light on geopolitics – no less! – using this word!
Fasten your seat-belts!
***
A clearly sensed ‘gut reaction’ is an individual’s immediate and innate test of truth. This reaction is instinctive; it does not go through a tortuous and tortured round of intellectual argumentation and rationalization. In fact, what emerges after a tortured round of argumentation and rationalization often goes against instinctive judgement.
A chief aim of political or business propaganda is to put ‘common people’ in doubt about their own judgement – and thereby to make them dependent on the judgement of ‘the elites’. Throughout history, it has been a cunning political and business strategy to induce – through ceaseless propaganda – an inferiority complex amongst ‘common people’.
Without such propaganda, how would ‘the elites’ convince common people to risk their lives in bloody wars? To accept their poverty as an essential element of ‘imperial greatness’? Or to believe that ‘the elites’ will work to ensure their wellbeing?
In a democracy, a good leader senses what common people – his or her support base – need and desire. No doubt the leader also shapes peoples’ aspirations – but he or she cannot get to that stage without first acknowledging their needs and desires. Such interactions among people are an integral part of even an imperfectly functioning democracy.
People’s needs and desires are shaped by the multitude of their ‘gut reactions’ to events of everyday life – ‘on Main Street’, ‘in the village square’ or ‘in the bazaar’. To be successful, a wannabe leader – honest or otherwise – must have his ear to the ground.
***
Around the world, powerful modern technologies of finance and mass communication are breaking the vital links of functioning democracies. ‘Modern leaders’ rely more on the easily managed ‘virtuality’ of media technologies than on the reality of people’s lives.
In an industrialized society, this fact remains hidden as long as its industrial economy is strong. But when the society loses its industrial strength, its real economy stagnates. Self-proclaimed leaders then turn against the people and feather their own nests – saying, in effect: If there isn’t enough to go around, let me at least grab my fat share!
With the advent of mass media – that is, instruments of mass propaganda – it has become easier to make common people lose confidence in their own ‘gut reactions’, and thereby to make them disoriented. Day after day, year after year, suppose a person is told that: (a) his or her difficulties are justified by ‘a greater cause’, and (b) he or she is ‘not as good as the elites’. Would the person not lose confidence in his or her own judgement?
This happens by conscious design and manipulation – because disoriented populations are easier to exploit as lackeys, serfs, debt-slaves or cannon fodder.
A sound desideratum of ‘education’ is that an educated person should be able to interpret events correctly and choose the course which leads to his or her durable wellbeing. Indeed, this criterion defines a healthy, functioning individual.
‘The elites’ would prefer to nip such tendencies in the bud. Their business and political model relies on simple people remaining ignorant. Therefore simple people – who wish only to get on with their simple lives – must today learn the vile tricks of their exploiters; or else even their proverbial pitchforks will prove useless.
No political philosophy should ignore the simple people’s concerns and modest needs. These people are acutely tuned in to events around them – in towns and villages – as they struggle for a modicum of well-being amidst hardship and the arrogance of power.
Well-functioning societies provide channels of communication for the knowledge of such ‘ground realities’ to be factored into political decisions. The channels consist of community leaders, farmers, traders, union leaders, party workers, religious groups … and so on.
But when policy-makers rely on slick analyses divorced from reality, the resulting policies are ‘castles in the air’ – that is, ‘gutless’ policies in the sense of citizens authentic ‘gut reactions’ not being taken into account.
Policy divorced from reality is based on false assumptions, empty verbiage and wishful bombast; but it is driven by fierce personal ambition. No test of truth is built into analyses. The only important factor is: Who has whose ear? In such conditions, policy-making is no more than a futile ‘game of thrones’ played out in ‘the corridors of power’.
People engaged in such forms of unworkable policy can be called ‘gutless wonders’ – they are divorced from reality, and are living in wonderland. In such policy-making processes, it is immaterial whether incompetence is at work, or malevolence, or a mix thereof. The same problems are created, whether the perpetrators are ‘evil’ or merely stupid.

When fear and greed rule markets and societies, delusion runs rampant. ‘Think tanks’ provide paid lobbying services rather than sound scholarship – but in a ‘dumbed-down’ society, who can tell the difference? Huge bureaucracies serve only themselves.
‘International community’ is today code for an extremely narrow view of how world affairs should be managed. The view champions ‘freedom’ – but the gutless wonders pushing the view are not free-standing individuals. Mostly they are pampered nerds, unable to tolerate the slightest difference of opinion or the slightest view of human suffering. They are puffed up by immense bureaucratic power and billions of dollars worth of fiat currency.
Gutless wonders devise elaborate and expensive schemes for ‘global welfare’ – while ensuring in the process only their own welfare. After disguising cleverly their own fears and greed, they present themselves as being ‘professional’, free from fear and greed. Many of the ‘academic degrees’ popular today provide mainly the camouflage needed for a person to function as an efficient-sounding and ‘politically correct’ gutless wonder.
Gutless wonders today seem to be straddling the world – not with valiant armies, but with fiat currencies, financial and legal skulduggery, bribes, propaganda and cunning. Their only apparent goal in life is ever more power and wealth.
In actual fact this never-ending grab for power and wealth indicates morbidity, a very deep-seated insecurity. As a result, shameless moral and logical contortions are used towards their aims – ‘whatever it takes’, in a famous phrase.
‘Globalism’ is propagated by such gutless, scheming cowards. Invariably, these cowards benefit from having ‘friends and relatives in high places’. But, without batting an eyelid, they would also sell their aging grandmothers if the price is right. Untold human misery created in faraway lands does not ever deserve an entry in their cooked-up account books.
Gutless wonders work from behind the thick walls of bureaucracies and think tanks, and live in heavily-guarded communities. All the time that they hatch their frenzied schemes, they are protected by cronies and by paid politicians, academics, lawyers, and accountants.
***
‘Nationalism’ is the common meme being projected as obstructing ‘the noble onward march of globalisation’. The message being propagated is that ‘nationalism’ is an ‘evil’ – a sign of ‘narrow minds’ – which hinders ‘mankind’s noble onward march’. However, this ‘onward march’ means mainly the narrow self-interest of the global gutless wonders.
You will never hear the following from globalist gutless wonders.
A ‘nation’ is not merely a ‘narrow identity label’. Belonging to a cohesive community is an essential part of human nurture and culture – and a basic human right of a child and an adolescent. The idea of ‘nationhood’ can be pilloried only by ignoring the priceless care and nurture which is provided in families, neighbourhoods and communities.
‘Nationalism’ is a force for good if it is defined by people who care for their own – without bearing any ill will towards others. Nationalism does not have to be defined by hatred. It can and should be accompanied by mutual respect and non-interference.
‘Globalism’ is today devoid of compassion. It is defined instead by global legal rights to exploit, to buy and sell, to pass hidden costs to the weak, to destroy ecosystems, to avoid paying taxes – and to loudly enforce a monopoly on morality and ethics. An apt phrase applicable to this ‘modern’ mindset would be ‘The Ugly Globalist’, or we may call it the newest version of ‘exceptionalism’.
All over the world, fair-minded human beings – whether white, black, brown, pink, or yellow – need to understand clearly what they are up against. Obfuscation is the deadliest weapon of the gutless wonders – who paint themselves as the best and the brightest, the purest of the pure; so bright and pure that they can tell all others how to behave.
What is absent in them is humility attained through a true understanding of human reality. They do not seem to understand that arrogance closes the door to truth and understanding, and that wisdom flows from true comprehension of suffering.
Therefore, when something goes wrong, their wail goes: Mummy, look! These bad and uncivilized people are not allowing us to teach them and to cheat them! Didn’t you tell us that was their manifest destiny?
***
A spirit of ‘healthy nationalism’ is distinguished by care for one’s fellow nationals, without any ill will towards other nations.
In this sense, ‘nationalism’ matters because human relations matter, traditions matter, self-respect matters. These priceless human values are not to be sacrificed at the altars of fake ideologies, power and wealth — that is to say, ‘tools of trade of the globalists’.
Is multilateralism possible in this world without mutually respectful ‘nationalism’ all around? There are some two hundred ‘countries’ in the world; almost all of them are made up of several different ‘intramural nations’. Therefore the innate spirit of ‘nationalism’ cannot be legislated out of existence. Indeed, a healthy society does not need much written legislation – whereas badly written legislation only makes things worse.
What needs to be articulated clearly is that, in a multilateral world with hundreds of nationalities, each nation must free itself of hatred towards others. Is it possible to aim towards such ‘healthy and mutually respectful nationalism’, free from hatred?
We should certainly hope so – because the alternative is grim!
In fact, the biggest threat to healthy and mutually respectful nationalism is the ‘divide-and-conquer’ mindset of the globalist gutless wonders!
If a rich diversity of views is to be respected amongst individuals, and also within a society, then why should diversity not be cherished globally? Why must ‘modernity’ or ‘progress’ be defined as creeping homogenization across the world?
No human compassion underlies this ‘creepy’ tactic. Only one explanation of this creeping homogenization makes economic sense: That it helps rapacious agents of globalisation to do their work of serial economic depredation.
The gutless wonders – also known as think-tank nerds – seem to be saying:
Hey, you! Why don’t you behave in this … er … moral and progressive manner, so that it becomes easier for us to … er … s***w you? If you don’t behave in this … er … moral and progressive manner, then the ‘international community’ will have to step in and do something about it. But of course the choice is entirely yours!
Gutless wonders malign ‘nationalism’. Compassion for one’s neighbours is maligned as ‘narrow-mindedness’, while sham compassion forms the sham basis for ‘globalization’. The strategy seems to be to mess up the prospective victims’ traditions, culture, thoughts, feelings and communities – so as to then vanquish them with greater ease.
As against this, healthy nationalism can be founded on this basis: ‘Your children’s happiness is as important as my children’s happiness. Therefore let us work together for a happier world, in which children’s smiles do not become a rarity.’
Gutless wonders who say this is not possible are ‘grinding their axes’ – with a gleam of world domination in their eyes. Clearly, those who go to great lengths to insulate themselves from human suffering cannot be relied upon to lessen human suffering. Their actions – begotten of insecurity and greed – will only add to human suffering.

Dr. Jotwani, it took a lot of guts to lay it out like this. Thank you. You explicitly cite Main Street, the village square and the bazaar. But I gotta ask, is there life on Mars?

Bravo, doctor. Succinct and heartfelt, I thought.
I’ve felt the same way about globalisation ever since my country kicked out the gutless wonders parachuted in by the IMF to advise us on how to handle the Asian financial crisis in the late 90’s. We would have gone down the drain then had we listened to them. Would love to hear more from you.
Cheers,
Basil
I say Basil old chap, are you from Malaysia?
Dr Mahathir warned all of the Asian countries of Soros’ attack on the 7 Asian Tigers and apparently most didn’t listen to him.
Mind you, although ‘Australia’ was not one of the tigers, we still felt the effects of those incursions and the Australian dollar dipped against the US Dollar as required. I know the IMF got into Indonesia and created havoc there and I believe Thailand as well. I’m not sure of what the Japanese did, but with Dick Cheney pushing the banking cartel’s agenda against Japan and Billy’s moves were extremely interesting. As I had previously written:
“From the Financial Review, 14th February 1994:
“Mr Clinton and his top officials will debate this week what to choose, from among a large “menu” of trade sanctions, in retaliation for the Hosokawa Government’s refusal to accept so-called “objective criteria” or “numerical targets” for reducing Japan’s $US60 billion trade surplus with the U.S.”
“Japan’s economic minister, Mr Seiichiro Noboru, said: “The U.S. might push us into a corner where we have no other course but to retaliate.”
And then from the old war-horse himself, from the Financial Review, 15th February, 1994:
“The former US Secretary of Defence Mr Dick Cheney warned yesterday that the US-Japan trade dispute was set to develop into a major confrontation which would damage the interests of both countries.”
Mr Cheney said he was worried that the relationship between the United States and Japan – one of the US’s most important security and economic relationships – had ‘gotten off track’.
So, just how did the U.S. get Japan back on track?
“On 17 January 1995, the Japanese city of Kobe was struck by a massive earthquake that devastated much of the city, killing over 5,500 people and injuring many thousands more. Shoko Asahara, the leader of the Japanese Aum Supreme Truth (Aum Shinrikyo) sect, had surprisingly predicted, in a Tokyo radio broadcast on 8 January 1995, that a major quake would soon occur at Kobe. Asahara went even further and stated that this quake would be initiated by a ‘foreign power’ utilising an electromagnetic (EM) weapon system.”
“Aum’s Science Minister, Hideo Murai later stated at the Foreign Press Correspondent’s Club in Tokyo on 7 April 1995 that, “There is a possibility that the great Hanshin [Kobe] earthquake was activated by electromagnetic power or some device that exerts energy into the ground.”
(http://iron-eagles.tripod.com/articles/em_earthquake.html “Earthquake Inducing Electro-magnetic Weapons Used at Kobe”
On the 23rd April 1995, Hideo Murai was murdered.”
But just how did Shoko Asahara obtain the information that Kobe was the target of an American covert attack? That’s the easy part. Shoko Asahara was the leader of the Aum Shinrikyo, a Japanese sect, which was the cover for a Japanese Intelligence unit. The Aum Shinrikyo had been operating in Western Australia since at least 1993 conducting trials, along with other ‘Intelligence’ groups in ‘Electromagnetic weapons’.
Why was Hideo Murai murdered? Because Murai had been in charge of the Japanese Intelligence working in Western Australia, and he knew too much
In other words, we have Japanese Intelligence working in Western Australia alongside Australian Intelligence, more than likely ASIO or ASIS and American, shall we call them CIA though they may also have been NSA.
Finally, to demonstrate just how important the Japanese government felt about the EM tests they had conducted in Western Australia:
“On 29 April (2008), the Emperor of Japan conferred an honour upon former Premier of Western Australia, Hon. Richard Court in recognition of his outstanding contribution and achievements in promoting better relations between Japan. Hon. Richard Court will be awarded the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Star, the second highest honour that can be conferred upon foreign nationals to acknowledge his exceptional contribution to the expansion of Australian-Japan relations,” (Hiroba Newsletter May 2008 Edition)
And that is how ‘American Globalisation’ works every time. Much the same as the old ‘East India Company and Sassoon worked in the previous century (19th. century)
G’day Andrew. Yes, I’m Malaysian mate.
1998 was a memorable year for us indeed — we hosted the Commonwealth Games in the midst of a nascent financial crisis. The financial crisis was a bitter experience for me personally. Had just started a business, had a young family. The IMF bozos with impressive business degrees and a complete lack of humanity and appreciation of history recommended a rise in interest rates (almost 30%) to save the banks, Malaysian finance minister then (before he was removed by Mahathir) decided to ‘shadow’ IMF policy and I and thousand others nearly went bust. Total misery and humiliation. I can really empathise with the people of Greece.
I’ve heard about weather modification and HAARP but never thought they’d taken it that far, to actually induce earthquakes. To be honest I’d actually put WM on the back burner until you brought it up just now. Now gotta scramble and do some more reading especially in light of the sad events in Indonesia (couple of earthquakes and a tsunami) — I feel some paranoia creeping in.
Cheers,
Basil
Andrew, as always excellent and appreciated comment.
Michael Crichton, whom I always loved to read, had number of bordering on reality novels. One of them is “State of Fear”, which actually talks about creating Earthquakes and resulting Tsunami’s in that part of the World. SEA, I suggest you read it, you might go – Hmm?
Something makes me think, if I was a “conspiracy buff”, that Crichton died of cancer not to long after release of this book, but then again it could have been natural cause.
On the other hand, Andrew, it’s all about “herd” control. My grandfather used sheepdogs to control his not so small sheep and goat herd, today governments call that “crowd control” or whatever name “they” come up with. The object of the action is always the same, as you said.
Dear Anonius,
Have you ever considered just exactly how Michael Crichton was able to write such excellent ‘novels’?
For a start he had to have some extremely good knowledge of the ‘art’ of weather control to put it in a proper perspective. Perhaps you should look a bit more at the ‘conspiracy buff’ idea; it would open up a complete new world for you.
I myself started my apprenticeship on the Port Arthur massacre, and I had two opportunities to speak with Brigadier Ted Serong, not realising that he was both ASIS and CIA. To keep me in check Ted sent me David Miles. That was extremely interesting in so many ways. Ted also gave me the ‘silent’ telephone number of Joe Vialls on ‘impulse’, but after speaking to Joe on about three times, I suddenly felt very strong impulses that he was not to be trusted.
In about early 2004 David Miles tried to recruit me in regard to weather control or perhaps weather modification may be a better term. He stated that ‘they’ had been able to alter the weather so as to bring in rain to end the Sydney bushfires at a previous Christmas, and had diverted a typhoon from striking Fiji which ended up hitting Vietnam. David also gave me a ‘prospectus’ to read with strict instructions that I was not to copy it, which was what I immediately did and returned the prospectus to him when I declined his offer.
I made an error in that after a couple of years I sent my copy to Olga Scully of Launceston for her ‘library’ but another spook obtained it and never returned it to Olga, and I suddenly received a call from David in regard to that incident.
Again, if you have read some of Joe Vialls work especially in regard to the Bali bombing and Captain Rodney Damon Cocks (ADF) and then his later ‘expose’ on the Aceh Tsunami it isn’t hard to believe that Joe had some ‘inside’ knowledge. However I did write something in regard to tsunamis:
Let’s have a look at tsunamis, especially in Papua New Guinea.
Prior to 1998 Papua New Guinea had experienced two reported Tsunamis, the first in 1917 and then again in 1935.
On the 17th July, 1998 a tsunami occurred on the northern coastline near Aitape.
On the 8th September, 2002 another tsunami occurred with its epicentre 150 Km from the 1998 epicentre.
Now in both of the volcanic eruptions that created these tsunamis, the resultant wave was linear, and moved from the epicentre to the coastline. There were no reports of tsunami damage north of Papua New Guinea.
Now this is extremely important, as if, in the realm these two events were in fact man-made, then the creators would have expected similar results from their next creation.
On the 12th October 2002 we had the Bali bombing. Three days prior to this event, ‘Washington’ warned the Indonesian government that a ‘terrorist’ event was going to occur. The ‘terrorist attack consists of three bombs, (1) outside the American Embassy, (2) Amrozi’s car-bomb outside Paddy’s Bar, and the major bomb (3) outside the Sari Club.
Joe Vialls claimed the Sari Club explosion was a ‘mini-nuke’ bomb, and later Glen Clancy of the ABC made the same claim. Glen Clancy’s ABC article talked about the pre-detonation electrical effects of the ‘mini-nuke’, and once that information is deciphered it becomes clear that the term ‘mini-nuke’ is actually a euphemism for ‘Electro-magnetic’ weapons.
Now the Indonesian Military elite may be corrupt, but they are not stupid. Even though they were paid very well with ‘anti-terrorist’ funding from the Australian government, they were now in a position to ask for certain favours.
12. The Australian Foreign Minister, Alexander Downer was not so lucky. One of the victims of the Bali Bombing was the eldest son of Brian Deagan, an Adelaide Magistrate, who charged Downer as failing in his responsibilities by not warning Australian tourists heading for Bali of the possibility of a ‘terrorist attack’. Alexander Downer was so concerned about this ‘attack on his credibility’, he decided not to make this mistake again, and so made an even bigger error of judgement.
In early December 2003, Alexander Downer issued a ‘terrorist alert’ for Australians travelling overseas. On the 26th December 2003, an earthquake struck the city of Bam in Iran. There was no other ‘terrorist’ incident.
It should also be remembered that at this time Iran was having a heated exchange over claims by Israel and America that it was planning to produce nuclear weapons.
In early December 2004, Alexander Downer again issued a ‘terrorist alert’ for Australians travelling overseas, and suggested that a Hilton Hotel may be the target for the attack. On the 26th December 2004 Aceh was struck by an earthquake and the resultant tsunami. The Indonesian Military got their Christmas present.
The Indonesian governments had for twenty years suffered from the dominantly Christian enclave of Aceh who had formed the ‘Aceh Separatist Movement’. In 2004 the Indonesian Military had moved the army into Aceh to quell the movement and to ‘endeavour to bring peace to the region’. Then the entire Indonesian Army in Aceh were sent home in December for a Christmas holiday.
On Boxing Day, the Christian Separatists who survived the initial earthquake stumbled out of their homes only to be wiped out by the tsunami.
We now have three separate incidents, the Bali Bombing, Bam and Aceh, that Alexander Downer was informed about, the last two supposedly being ‘natural disasters, but had to be ‘man-made’, because Alexander Downer had foreknowledge that these events were going to take place.
13. On the 27th December 2004, the ABC radio station (Australian Broadcasting Commission) during the lunch break of “the Ashes’ Cricket test match at Melbourne, did an interview with a spokesperson from FEMA who stated that the American bureaucracy was monitoring the earthquake off Aceh, and that FEMA had no opportunity to issue any warnings to those countries that were effected by the consequential tsunami. However, FEMA was able to warn the EMA in Australian. N.B. Australia’s EMA (Emergency Management Australia) is the equivalent body to America’s FEMA (Federal Emergency management Agency).
This caused several thoughts to come to mind:
1. Why was FEMA monitoring Aceh?
2. When did FEMA start the monitoring of Aceh?
3. Why was FEMA able to warn Australia’s EMA, but was not able to issue any warning to those countries that were devastated by the tsunami?
4. The time it took the tsunami to travel from Aceh to Sri Lanka was four hours. FEMA was monitoring the event, but then failed to warn the effected countries such as Thailand and Sri Lanka, even though there was adequate time to issue such a warning. Why were the warnings not issued?
5. The person being interviewed by the ABC specifically used the term ‘monitoring’ which means that there was some prior information for this area to have been monitored. The act of monitoring (spying) is not coincidental.
6. What was the possibility that the Australian body EMA was working in conjunction with the American FEMA organisation at the time FEMA was monitoring the initial earthquake at Aceh? It has been noted that both Australian and Canadian emergency organisations have previously worked in America especially in bush-fire operations.
The only reason why such warnings were not issued by FEMA was because they were not expecting a ring shaped tsunami, they were expecting the linear tsunami as per the Papua new Guinea tsunamis of 1998 and 2002.
For those who are not aware, FEMA was moved into the Department of ‘Homeland Security’ in March 2003, with a specific role in the fight against terrorism.
14. This is not the end of our tsunami expose. In 2003 the Australian Federal Police moved a unit of their ‘Protective Services’ Unit into the Solomon Islands under the auspices of the UN due to the ‘criminal’ behaviour of the Solomon Island Constabulary. These police had apparently been involved in ‘Stand-over tactics, thefts and extortion. However in a major gaffe, the AFP media spokesman informed Australians that the Solomon Island Constabulary hadn’t been paid for three months. So how does a policeman who hasn’t been paid for three months feed his family? He begs, steals and borrows.
With the arrival of the ‘Protective Services Unit’, the local police are sacked and many imprisoned. There is a large amount of antagonism from the locals, but our boys are too thick-skinned to worry about it, and the Australian hierarchy is based in Honiara the capital of the Solomon Islands. There is though still resistance from the outer islands until Monday, the 2nd April 2007, when the islands of Choiseu and Gizo were struck by a tsunami shortly after 7.39am.
“The quake was the strongest in the Solomon Islands in more than three decades and set off tsunami alarms from Tokyo to Hawaii, and closed beaches along the east coast of Australia more than 1250 miles away” (U.S. Geological Survey)
Well they apparently used bull-horns to warn swimmers at Manly, but I don’t recall any beaches north of Sydney receiving any warnings, but again this tsunami was linear, and apart from the northern islands of the Solomon’s, the only other country affected was the eastern tip of Papua New Guinea. Well there goes the opposition to Australia’s presence in the Solomon Islands. The Australians learnt quickly from the Indonesian Military.
Andrew, to say interesting is an understatement.
Going back to Crichton, I never doubted that he always researched his subject and always had some reality entangled with his “fiction”.
As for the non paid “cops” it would not have been the first or the last time that they would extort from local population.
As for the, as you say, authorities “failing” to warn the people is always deliberate. And you can always count on some “not to bright” politician or media person to “have a slip of a tongue”.
Great writing, thanks.
Oh yes:
Many years ago I read many articles about HAARP in Alaska, which had dual purpose as “weather altering device and an electromagnetic weapon”. They say it’s out of use, but I am not so sure about it since Northern hemisphere is experiencing extremely anomalous weather.
Dear Anonius,
I am very much aware of ‘police corruption’, however what the AFP spokesman told us was that the constabulary had not been paid for three months, he didn’t say that ‘all government employees hadn’t been paid for three months, and I cannot see any bureaucrat permitting themselves to be unpaid servants. What I did see was a plan to have a ‘communist’ country take over the Solomon Islands.
Yes, I am stating that the Australian government is ‘Communist’! Also what has not been stated is that New Zealand is the ‘Protectorate’ within this area, but they apparently were not prepared to cover the costs of the ‘takeover’. Again this becomes more interesting when one considers the events in Fiji around the same time.
In regard to HAARP, I don’t know that much, but what I do know is that ‘Over the Horizon’ radar also plays a role in weather control, as our Federal government (Philip Ruddock) had one built in Jindalee in West Australia on the pretext of watching the Indonesian fishermen ‘poaching’ in Australian waters. The first ‘Over the horizon’ radar was built by the Russians in the 1970’s and was nicknamed the ‘Woodpecker’ due to its sound emissions.
I believe that the earthquake at Tangshan, China on the 28th of July, 1976 which caused the death of 600,000 people may have been caused by the Russian equivalent of HAARP, and that would explain the UN treaty of the 18th May, 1977 commonly known as the “Convention on the Prohibition of Military or Any Other Hostile Use of Environmental Modifications Techniques” or in other words, creating man-made storms, earthquakes, or tidal waves.
I think most of Western Governments are nowadays “Crypto communist”. I may have said this before, but My neighbor’s sister, who is a retired teacher in Peloponnese (Greece) hasn’t been received her pension for two years and counting. Governing Party Syriza is a Communist Party (they claim to be more communist than the KKE – Greek Communist Party). It might be dethroned only because signed the Macedonia name away, and Greek populace is in uproar. I am not holding my breath though, if it happens we might see Golden Dawn in power (Nationalist party labeled by the EU lackeys and the media -> Fascists). That would be something, not that I would be complaining. I would want to see them deliver what they promise though, if they come to power. In reality, there are to many communists in Greece, who even though they are getting f-cked by Syriza daily, most likely might vote them in again.
Going back to Russia, I think I’ve read some comments like “Putin is fixing the weather”.
Regards
It needs to be understood that ‘nationalism’ can be either reactionary or progressive. On the one hand there is the twisted idealism of Nazism and Fascism as practised by Hitler and Mussolini, on the other there is the revolutionary, emancipatory neo-nationalism of the FLN in Algeria and Vietminh/Vietcong in IndoChina, and all the various peoples’ struggles against colonialism and imperialism. National Liberation movements generally have consisted of political coalitions of left and right.
The globalist agenda is to completely smash any form of communal and collective life among the disspossesed; to turn societies into ‘sacks of potatoes’ (as Marx described). An unprepossessing individualism a ‘War of Everyman against Everyman’ (Thomas Hobbes), ‘No such thing as society’ (Mrs Thatcher).
Dmitry Orlov put it very succinctly:
The fake liberal concept of “humanity as a whole” is a key element of globalist dogma because it underpins all the others: free movement of people, goods and capital (no national borders); subordination of national political bodies to unelected transnational authorities (no bilateral relations); dissolution of national sovereignty (all governments subject to unquestioned transnational dictate). These are the basics; then there are the details, such as replacement of biological sex with cultural gender in an effort to reengineer human nature.
The intended end-result is all of humanity, irrespective of definition, herded onto an industrial a conveyor belt. Impoverished southern nations are to provide a stream of human raw material of arbitrary quality which is to flow north and replace native populations that are cratering due to demographic collapse. This human material is then to be processed into a Homo Genericus—with no knowledge of history or native culture, no sense of identity beyond a contrived “gender identity” and a hypersensitivity to skin color, and all of them internet-addicted, obedient, depressed and medicated to suit. Since “humanity as a whole” is a fake but mustn’t be, it is to be coerced into existence. This state of affairs would be most conducive to converting most of the remaining natural resources into abstract digital wealth hoarded by a tiny group of transnational oligarchs.
“It needs to be understood that ‘nationalism’ can be either reactionary or progressive.”
The same is true of “internationalism.”
No criticism intended.
I think it is important to note that both nationalism and internationalism can be either reactionary or progressive.
BTW this is also true of states and centralized governments.
In the USA, some states are (more or less) reactionary, and the federal government provides, or used to provide, a counterweight and laws that prevented extreme reactionary policies.
But some states are (more or less) progressive, and the federal govt is basically trying to cut off at the knees some states’ efforts to introduce progressive legislation, such as strong environmental protections.
So it seems that this seesaw between centralized/decentralized and reactionary/progressive is an ongoing game. At the moment internationalism/globalization seems to be primarily reactionary and is quite successfully hitting back at nationalist movements and ideas as being what is inherently reactionary—i.e., globalists are trying to don the mantle of progressivism (because progressive policies are what most people want) or at least “progress,” while attempting to tar their challengers with the taint of nationalism-based racism, etc.
I think it is fair to say that in the current moment, the site of the greatest potential improvements in quality of life for human beings/citizens is the nation-state. Globalization has left millions and millions of people stuck in poverty with no way to get out, while the money flows to the top and to the center.
The use of the word “populism” as a negative epithet is very telling. Why should globalists think they can downgrade nationalists by labeling them? And, by labeling them “populist”? I think it is time for so-called populist leaders to start their own labeling, and use it freely. Maybe the globalists should be labeled “powerists” or “manipulists” or “greedists.”

I must say that I find this article by Dr. Jotwani to be very perceptive and that it goes into the heart of the matter and of the issues of today’s world. It is also very reminiscent of Nikolai Trubetskoy’s essay “Europe and Mankind” in that, in it, he uncovers the duplicity of those who are working for the “good of mankind” and yet hate people and their unique traditions with a passion. I sincerely hope that this article will reach a broad audience who will be receptive to its message. I look forward to more such articles!
Thank you Dr. Jotwani. I really enjoyed this.
My own take-away is this sentence:
“‘Nationalism’ is a force for good if it is defined by people who care for their own – without bearing any ill will towards others.” Simple, straight forward and the best definition that I’ve come across, but very seldom found in reality in our world today. It truly can become a personal litmus test.
Thank you Dr. Jotwani for this heartfelt piece!
“Gentlemen, you are now about to embark on a course of studies which will occupy you for two years. Together, they form a noble adventure. But I would like to remind you of an important point. Nothing that you will learn in the course of your studies will be of the slightest possible use to you in after life, save only this, that if you work hard and intelligently you should be able to detect when a man is talking rot, and that, in my view, is the main, if not the sole, purpose of education”.
– John Alexander Smith, Professor of Moral Philosophy, Oxford University, 1914.
Dr. Jotwani’s article has the simplicity of truth, what more is there to say? Please keep writing Dr. Jotwani!
I would say that true nationalism is always emancipating, an intent to free a people from imperialist power. And almost always, the imperial power will try to invert reality by calling the nationalists either terrorists or supremacists and in general painting nationalism as inherently bad. I live in a country where this scheme is currently playing out. The region that strives for independence is considered a danger to the country’s unity by the state press, whereas I would say there isn’t much of a unity if people are unhappy enough to want out.
In reaction to an earlier comment, I wouldn’t call what took place under Nazism nationalism. It was a highly enforced idea of unity and rather imperialistic as well. A true nationalist would never consider conquering other countries.
Yes – bravo indeed Dr. Naresh Jotwani for writing this and full marks to the Saker for publishing this.
Dr Jotwani’s gift to us is in using his ability to express and crystallize the feelings many people have.
They know something is very far wrong but don’t know how to put it all together and with the globalists censoring free speech, banning books and firing academics who dare to tell the truth, people are being increasingly deprived of the knowledge they need to formulate their thoughts and literally have no voice to express their “gut” feelings.
Dr Jotwani has both the knowledge and command of the language to speak on behalf of the millions struggling against the beast of globalism.
I would add one vital point to his paragraph –
“Gutless wonders today seem to be straddling the world – not with valiant armies, but with fiat currencies, financial and legal skulduggery, bribes, propaganda and cunning. Their only apparent goal in life is ever more power and wealth”.
– which would be that they are also up to their necks in the most despicable crime of all, the wholesale rounding up of thousands of young children for purposes of sexual abuse, torture, rape and murder often within satanic ritual practices on a scale which brave investigators have described as breathtaking. It doesn’t get worse than that.
I just wish I could write as coherently as Dr Jotwani. This article is a gem and will bear several readings followed by deep thought and reflection.
Donald Trump could “end” Soros in a tweet ………. if he WANTED TO.
So why doesn’t he?…. Soros is Rothschild’s property and Trump is too ….
Did George Soros disclose his Nazi collaboration on his USA immigration papers? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VygxXR1ao3o
I guarantee he did NOT, because he would not have been admitted to America.
Therefore he LIED on his immigration forms and his “admittance” to America is NULL & VOID.
Item No. 56 on the form I-485 to adjust immigrant status to that of permanent resident which must be signed and sworn to under oath before a U.S. immigration officer.: During the period from March 23, 1933 to May 8, 1945, did you ever order, incite, assist, or otherwise participate in the persecution of any person because of race, religion, national origin, or political opinion, in association with either the Nazi government of Germany or any organization or government associated or allied with the Nazi government of Germany? Yes______ No______
Deport Soros & his SPAWN to their native Hungary (which has an arrest warrant for WWII out on him).
ALL the Soros Family money should be forfeit it was founded on money stolen from Jewish victims of the Holocaust and should ALL be handed over as reparations – Or was there NO holocaust?! — if there had been Israel & Jews everywhere would be DEMANDING George Soros be HANGED. Soros’ multi $BILLION fortune was started on stolen Jewish property, and yet NOT A PEEP out of Israel?! Why are janitors and clerks persecuted but Soros walks free and BRAGS about it!? FUNNY there are no Israeli demands Soros’ money be turned over to holocaust survivors?! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0PUDmLCkgNc
Leadershit has nothing to do with democracy. Democracy is when a lottery is used to select a public assembly. That public assembly then elects the officers of government.
This is the Athenian system that the world still marvels at after three thousand years.
Yet it did not suffice to save the Athenians from the folly of empire which destroyed them. Leadershit is what destroyed Athens. It was Alsabaides who misled the Athenian people into permanent war as a business model.
Fake money printed the the pentagon called Federal Reserve Notes is the fundamental means by which American civilian government is destroyed and replaced with military rule police state. Fake money printed by the pentagon traitors and murderers cannot be used to practice honest charity. Real silver money is required to practice honest charity. Fake money printed by the military used for charity will not make you lucky.
Real silver money can be used for charity to cultivate your luck. Fake money does not belong in a collection plate at a church or left as a tip for a waitress. People who have no regard for luck are cowards who can never take chances. People without luck can never take chances. People who can never take chances are cowards. Real silver money is needed to practice honest charity to cultivate our luck. Real honest silver money is a plan for honest payment. Fake money printed by the pentagon is a plan to cheat and lie.
“As against this, healthy nationalism can be founded on this basis: ‘Your children’s happiness is as important as my children’s happiness. Therefore let us work together for a happier world, in which children’s smiles do not become a rarity.’
Gutless wonders who say this is not possible are ‘grinding their axes’ – with a gleam of world domination in their eyes.”
It starts with the study of economics. Economics is the allocation of SCARCE resources. Obviously if they are scarce there isn’t going to be enough for everyone.
Change the way economics is studied and all problems will be solved.
Ref: … allocation of SCARCE resources … “. This inevitably involves prioritization, which is to say value judgements within societies. Thus I do not see how “economics” can be separated from “politics”. They are two sides of the same coin. Can “economics” claim to be an objective science which has no connection to the values by which a society lives? I don’t think so.
What is generally called economics is more correctly called “political economy”. Some people use this term, but not many.
Can “economics” claim to be an objective science which has no connection to the values by which a society lives? I don’t think so.
“Economics” uses a fictional model of the “homo economicus”, which is a blunt parody of a human being. Every thing which cannot be quantified in monetarian terms is simply overlooked by economic theory: human labour is worthy only when it is paid with money. Natural resources are worthless, when they may be used without payment. The whole idea of economic growth is based on monetarian terms. Growth in knowledge and culture e.g. is not thinkable in economic terms, as long as there are no money payments to indicate (not talking about completely delusional investment banking).
Money was dragged by “economics” to be an invisible force, which silently has near limitless influence on society and politics; and in essence supports the assumption that the current state of “economics” predominantly is the supporting and justifying ideology of capital.
“Economics” strives to be an exact science like physics and miserably fails doing so. Being roots of economic thinking, Adam Smith and Karl Marx were also philosophers, who saw the economic system in interplay with individual and social life of human beings. These roots point to a transdisciplinary perception of economics and is in sharp contrast of todays academic doctrines. These will stay like this without fundamental revision and are likely to stay, as critical thinkers are kept away from universities.
John Kenneth Galbraith agreed with you.

Where exactly is this scarcity? From what I’ve seen there’s too much stuff around these days(much of which I personally find wasteful), a surplus in many areas, not scarcity – at least not due to lack of resources.Plus, even if some resources are scarce, there are always alternatives and work-arounds.
Depends on the context. There are no alternatives for mineral fertilisers in the context of the current human population and its need for arable land e.g.
No “work-around” for freshwater as well. Lack of energy carriers will lead to drastic changes in mobility and agriculture and our ability to “work-around”…
“Plus, even if some resources are scarce, there are always alternatives and work-arounds.”
I dont agree
“Dr. Naresh Jotwani is a semi-retired academic living in India. He engages in a personal exploration of how Gautam Buddha’s profound discoveries and teachings can be applied to the acute problems of modern life.”
A small correction, but I believe it’s written ‘Gautama Buddha’, not as written here.At least that’s how I’ve ever heard the word pronounced.
An excellent essay by Dr. Jotwani.
Sir James Goldsmith was very prophetic about the consequences of globalisation as he outlined in his book “The Trap” in 1994. Here is a link to an interview with Charlie Rose in 1994. In 3 parts and well worth watching.

From the Mod:
“In this interview, Sir Goldsmith discusses the ramifications of free-trade agreements that were about to take place in 1994 (GATT), as you can retrospectively see, he correctly predicted many of the things that happened after that.” (taken from YT under the video.)
Daithí, please include some blurb to justify publishing your link next time….]
Almost all of this article is spot on, thank you.
One comment though: the conclusion that social media are creating and facilitating the brainwashing is erroneous.
Quite the opposite is true, if one looks at what happened over the past century.
With the discovery of psychology came finally the means to replace the brutal violence that had kept Feudalism alive all those centuries. Until psychology came, just lies needed to do the trick, and it didn’t work well. It takes a long time to create a good lie, and most lies were quite quickly debunked.
But with psychology came the insight that the content of the lies didn’t matter. The core discovery to get back to overlords and serfs was that the elite could psychologically enter into people’s minds, and train them to experience an almost life-threatening fear when confronted with disbelief of the lies. They saw that if they could make the population NEED to believe that reality is what they are being told, in spite of their own experiences, counter to what they saw, heard or could logically conclude, then Feudalism 2.0 was possible.
Look at the past century. Almost all of what people believe that made out the history, and hence almost all what people believe makes up the present reality, is a blatant, idiotic and brutally stupid lie. The lies are so bad, it’s simply insulting. But still, all TV sets and newspapers just reprint the complete idiocies day after day. And people cry for war or impeachment when being told to do so.
Two things happened at the same time:
On the one hand, the brainwashing was getting more successful over time, and the lies could become more and more brazen.
But on the other hand, the digital revolution and specifically the internet made direct information sharing on a massive scale possible, making it easier for the little holes in the brainwashing to get immense effects.
The elite, drunk with arrogance, realised too late what had happened, and is now in full panic to undo the damage: after failing to control the internet they now censor the major social media. But that obviously is only a temporary solution, as these media can be ditched and replaced in a very short time and at any moment.
What we are witnessing now is not the start of the war for our minds, but the last desperate attempt of the elite to remain in control over the beliefs of the population. It is obvious that they are doomed.
The screw is being tightened so fast right now that the pressure is becoming untenable. Within 10 years the major collapse will start, almost certainly by unmasking Israel for the abomination that it is. You can see that the brainwashing into seeing in Israel the opposite of what it really is, is fast losing its grip. Many people are waking up to the brutality of the crimes against humanity that are being committed in the name of some myth.
The myths of Israel and its people (who are Caucasian and not Semitic at all, let alone descendants of the Jews described in the Old Testament), which form the basis for the colonisation of Palestine, will come down with the country. One of those myths is the biggest myth of our time, and will bring about an earthquake of shock and disillusionment.
Many people will be in great distress due to the forced ‘cold turkey’ of having all of their beliefs about reality destroyed. We will need immense patience, compassion and understanding to make help everyone transition into the new paradigm, the world of the Truth Consciousness.
That adds ***immensely*** to what I have tried to convey in the essay. Thank you!
WOW! Difficult to recall a comparative to anything else I have read via the ‘Net – “world-wide library/Gutenburg Galaxy v2.gallizion” – EVER. And I “peruse”/read one helluva lot. Such an articulately crafted, cold-blooded analysis/diatribe so compassionately conveyed. Confident the “greatest ‘socialist’ ever” , JC, – “where two or more gather . . ” – is benevolently looking upon you. KUDOS!
