Some also wonder about the possibility of Hezbollah entering the battle against Israel from the northern front, and this upon the request of the Palestinian factions. Can you, Mr. Khalid, answer this question? Are you prepared to request Hezbollah to intervene in this battle?
Khalid Mashal, Hamas international director:
Realistically speaking, we differentiate between – (on the one hand) – Israel being the enemy of all, the enemy of all resistance forces and all free (parties/forces) in our Ummah (nation), the enemy of our Arab, Islamic Ummah, of humanity and (all) free people of the world. This is a firm conviction. (And on the other hand), everyone becoming engaged in the battle at the same time. This is a matter that depends on the assessments of each side. Of course, we hope that the nation (Ummah) with all its countries, armies and resistance forces, will wage the battle (at the same time), because this is the battle of honour and pride, as Palestine is for the whole Ummah, al-Quds is for the Muslims and Christians of (Palestine) and the nation, and al-Aqsa is the first Qibla of the Muslims. Therefore this is the battle of honour.
Furthermore, Israel is a real threat to the Arab nation’s security, to the Islamic (nation’s) security, and global security. Therefore, engaging in this battle is a duty, (a duty) to serve Palestine and the Ummah itself, for the sake of its national and strategic security. Yet, fighting (this battle) all at once – do we force them to do so? This we leave to the assessment of each side. We acknowledge the complexities of the (current) circumstances, even if we hope to fight this battle together against this common enemy.
Host:
So, you are not going to request any other side to fight with you, while hoping that they get involved in this battle as the enemy is one as you say, Mr (Khaled)?
Mashal:
The masses of our people and people in general, out of there sentiments and own convictions, they too, wish for that, and they may speak about it in the media, in their conversations, or on social media. As for political leaders in Hamas and other organizations, I believe that they are aware of the complexities of reality, and that they do not request something which they are not sure is possible and available, despite it being everyone’s desire.
We do not make such a request, but we hope that everyone will become involved in the battle via the assessment each side undertakes. It is everyone’s responsibility, and if Hamas alone with the resistance forces in Gaza, the people struggling in al-Aqsa, and the people revolting within the interior of Palestine (within the) 1948 borders, and the West Bank, if they alone made Israel stand on one leg, what would the case be if the whole Ummah got involved in this battle?
I believe we are able to defeat (Israel) as it is ‘a paper tiger’ and ‘a spider’s web’. It lacks legitimacy, and its core is empty and hollow, and it is facing a great, heroic people that cannot be defeated by anyone, as they are the owners of the land and the real owners of the country.
Yeah, agree. Palestinians are the real owners. Here’s a good article.

Huge mistake if the Hezbollah doesn’t join in.
Hezbollah is Shia and Hamas is Sunni. Won’t be surprised if there is bad blood between those 2 organizations.
For thousands of years there never was bad blood amongst any of the religions of the area, including the various denominations of Islam, Christianity, and Talmudic Judaism.
That is until Apartheid Israhell stole Palestine and started its divide and conquer strategy.

The four quarters of ancient Jerusalem, until the arrival of the Zionists from Europe.
I visited Israel on business in 1980 and walked around the wall in Jerusalem, seeing the 4 areas for myself. Looking over the backyards of homes, the Christian part was ultra cared for, the Jewish part was relatively chaotic and the Muslim part was a complete mess, mainly with a lot of kiddies toys. One could argue both ways > this city brings in tourists who have to be left with a good impression, so it is best to keep the pace tidy…or…that one wants to live and enjoy the live one has and never mind about what others observe.
I just found the place fascinating for what it offered. I got into trouble in a covered market when browsing for some souvenirs. My feeling was that whilst all the wood carvings of various sizes of Virgin Mary and the manger scene were cute, they did not quite fit in with my home back in London…and another Swiss couple were discussing this within the shop, completely confused by the variety…i spoke to them in Swiss-German and told them that they had to think of how it fitted in with their existing decor at home…and then the couple replied, “yes you are right.”…at this point the Palestinian came towards me aggressively and berated me in perfect Swiss-German !! that i had no right to interfere in his attempts to market his goods in his own shop. He flashed angry eyes at me and said “Do you know who i am? I belong to the PLO” at which point i backed out of the shop ;oD with an Israeli soldier standing right outside watching the situation, then advising me: “These people only think of death whilst we want to live.”
I dressed like any western businessman but found it impossible to get into conversation in bars and clubs. I asked one guy, what he thought was wrong with me. He said, laughing “You look like a German …thats why”…so i replied: “But im British”…so the guy laughed even louder and said “Oh no, thats even worse.” It did break the ice but i felt the arrogance of the Sabras.
For example i was treated with suspicion by the Sabras even in my western business attire, getting a bayonet poked through my luggage several times and gruffly told to open my suitcase for inspection…
There were scores of South Africans, Americans, Australians, New Zealanders, in IDF uniform that i spoke to. A gorgeous California blonde border guard was my first contact on israeli soil. She got totally irritated with me when she started to do a body search and asked me “if i knew why she was doing it.” i just replied “No but carry on …your doing great, im certainly enjoying it” At which point she smiled and said – as do most Americans – “I like your British accent.”
My key contact to get some research done was an American. Totally laid back and helpful. I wanted to see the inside of a synagogue and got talking to a Hassidic from New York who said i should tag along and could go in but he would give a signal to me when he felt i should leave again…the Synagogue was indifferent, barren, soul-less…
The highlight of my travel there was that i was on a guided coach tour of the Golan Heights exactly on the day that Israel annexed the territory. I was able to set foot into Lebanese territory when the Christian Militia was in charge there. What an amazing contrast, to meet the Lebanese, such kind and charming and kindly people… The South African tour guide took us to a Kibbutz. She explained in gruesome detail the typical lifestyle demanded of new arrivals to the Kibbutz system. She did not mince her words.
A fascinating travel – one which left me with the overall impression that there was an Anglo-Saxon/Zionist takeover of a land which absolutely did not belong to them in any way whatsoever. The whole lot should go back the Noo Joisey and then there will be peace.
Are you new here? Iran is virtually exclusively responsible for the all new, revived Gazan resistance, after they were abandoned so spectacularly by their Sunni Arab Brothers. Get Real .
Iran is the only Muslim country which can free Palestine, and when Iran frees Palestine the majority Sunni there will still keep on worshipping Saudi Arabia and will want nothing to do with Iran.
Meanwhile Mossad will continue to enjoy free reign in Iran because lots there can’t stand the Mullahs or the military. But dictatorship or monarchy is the only way to run a middle eastern Muslim country.
See, I’m very new here.
I will never forget, i believe at the start off the war in Syria Hamas supported the head hackers against Assad,i don’t know if they changed their view on that,i hope so.
hezbollah is involved…nazrallah has said the situation calls for patience & that gaza has all it needs to win. very like the houthis. the resistance is very different from the western mindset, it allows those oppressed to win their battle, yes, they obviously supply know how, materials, instruction, mentorship but the battle is theirs not to be usurped. all will become involved, it’s simply a matter of time. iran, iraq, syria—already some missiles have been launched from their golan which israel has downplayed b/c it’s citizens are already scared outta their minds & 2 adversaries nutty believes is too much for them to know. the saudis are talking to iran, qatar is too. things are changing in the blink of an eye. moscow has offered to negotiate in moscow. lavrov is the sole diplomat in the world capable of navigating this, as the problem is intractable.
Yeah Anon, you tell ’em. Netanyahu set a trap and everyone knows it. Hee gets several things out of this, staying out of Israeli courts, starting the Next War when war is most convenient for The Jewish State, and further solidifying the theft of Palestine. As Gilad Atzmon noted, Netanyahu is the most clever alpha male among the Israeli elite. Very dangerous. So suuuuuure, Hezbollah should just do the obvious thing, and take the bait like a dumb mouse – right, Anon ?
omg – the last sentence
I believe we are able to defeat (Israel) as it is ‘a paper tiger’ and ‘a spider’s web’. It lacks legitimacy, and its core is empty and hollow, and it is facing a great, heroic people that cannot be defeated by anyone, as they are the owners of the land and the real owners of the country.
At first I was cynical that Hamas was played to empower Netanyahu as a hardliner just as his fortune seemed to have shifted. And it is true that he has shifted public opinion to revenge and security and not conciliation. Then I read https://electronicintifada.net/content/time-its-different/33006 and I wonder if Zionist terror has gone too far to stop.
Perhaps Hamas is not a member of the “Muslim brotherhood” which, in complicity with the CIA, has been part of the jihad to destroy Syria and Iraq, Chechnya, Yugoslavia, etc.
And on the other hand, Hamas always shows up when Netanyahu, or Israeli extremists, are in trouble (yes or no?)
Hamas is a real resistance movement.
It is not a creation of israel as some conspiracy theorists are trying to make up, other than in the sense if you provoke people you have “created an enemy”.
i.e, No, Khalid Mashaal is not having secret backroom meetings with Mossad and taking instructions from Shin Bet.
Hamas is conveniently there simply because it’s a drum, and Netanyahoo can bang on it to make noise. The drum never asked to be there and has no choice but to make a noise when hit.
Of cause yes. There is a deep connection between US Democrats – Qatar – and the Muslim Brotherhood.
Hamas was a project of the Muslim Brotherhood for decades, but this may no longer the case. For evidence note how Hezbollah now accords legitimacy to Hamas about a year ago, even after Hamas taught the terrorists in Syria how to dig tunnels.
The resistance need to target with max energy the Jewish Nuclear reactor. This should be destroyed to let Israel know they are going to pay a Big price for their savagery !
Targets:
1. Dimona.
2. All Internet exchanges
3. All Gas plants in Haifa
4. All airports – total air blockade
5. All inbound shipping – no supplies
6. All water processing plants to Tel Aviv
7. All Military Hangars (eliminate israeli air power – that alone will leave them dead in the water … or rather dead in the air)
During the NATZO/ISIS invasion of Syria in 2011 Hamas put themselves on the wrong side by allying with Kuwait, one of the two Arab funders of ISIS, for religious as well as financial reasons. Then Kuwait saw the light, stopped funding ISIS and sort of put itself under protection with Iran. This left Hamas on its own to face the wrath of Anglo Zionazi Capitalist Israel. Nevertheless, two vicious onslaughts by the Nathan Yahoo regime failed to force Hamas into signing away the family jewels — the offshore gas fields of Gaza. In those years I used to describe Hamas as brave but stupid. Now it seems they too have seen the light and are thinking about joining Hezb’Allah: still brave but no longer so stupid.

didnt also Assad put himself on the wrong side by going against Gadaffi?
only to be the target the following year…
@anon (the one who asked): “didnt also Assad put himself on the wrong side by going against Gadaffi?”
Assad probably didnt betray Gadaffi to Sarkozy’s assassins. Claim by quisling regime not verified:
“While it was not possible independently to verify his allegation, Nicolas Sarkozy, the former French president, played a leading role in both the NATZO mission to bomb Libya and in bringing international pressure to bear on the Assad regime. The claims by Mr El Obeidi, the former head of foreign intelligence for the movement that overthrew Gaddafi, followed comments by Mahmoud Jibril, who served as prime minister in the transitional government and now leads one of Libya’s largest [Quisling] political parties.”

Hamas, Hezbollah, etc. They all one way or the other, helped Muslim terrorists in Serbian Kosovo and Metohija and Republika Srpska.
With that in mind, I hope someday we too, can drive out those terrorists from our lands, just as Israel is doing now in Gaza.
This luxurious belaboring of the ‘complexities’ of the situation speaks to a tactician well out of the fray.
When your children are trapped in a burning house, do you deliberate over the source of the water bucket handed you, or the motives of the bucket carrier? Basic humanity is being buried beneath an infinite web of bloodless calculations.
Nemirni, where do you get your information from. Muslim terrorists in Serbia were NATZO mercenaries plus Albanians The most abominable terrorist atrocities against Serbia were committed by NATZO army of U$A and European Union. Hamas (Palestine) and Hezb (Lebanon) are national resistance groups against a Zionazi attempt to take over the Middle East. They are essentially anti-NATZO hence anti-ISIS and anti-Alqaida.
So you are for genocide of the native inhabitants of Gaza, if anyone needs to be driven out, it’s the alien European fake Semites known as Israelis. Please keep your pathetic Balkan tribalism to yourself, unless you are fake and you are really just another Israeli propaganda troll.
I dont know about Hamas or Hezbolah but the Iranian Revolutionary Guard and Al Quaida were competing in Bosnia to influence the muslims there and trained and helped them murder christians.
The guy that was killed in Iraq bye Trump was the leader of the Iranian Mission to Bosnia.
It’s common knowlegde that Muslims are only fighting fellow other Muslims as long as there is not another Group there to murder together. After they killed the others they go back to fighting each other.
Bye the way critisising the muslims does not mean siding with jews.
I just do not understand the way that pro russian media has become advocate for iran and hezbolah lately.
This is just a tempory alliance for the muslims….
Why not, what benefit has Israel been to Russia, they trained the Georgian forces to attack and kill Russians in 2008, they support the maidan and ironically Nazi government in Ukraine. Their AIPAC and gaggle of often Jewish Israel supporting neo-cons are vehemently anti-Russian and pro NATO expansion, it shows the patience of Putin to even shake hands with bibi.
As for Iran or Hezbollah when have they threatened or murdered Russian, pretty much never and for relation with Muslims. Well they are the second largest religion in Russia between 15 to 20 million adherents given how much they practice their religion on average. Regardless its a permanent relation that for the good Russian stability it must be maintained, plus it neighbors mostly Muslim majority states to the south.
So good relations with Iran, Hezbollah and the Muslim world if far more important to Russia in the long term, then for an artificial Zionist mini-state like Israel. Again the Balkans was a mostly idiotic inter-tribal conflict benefiting NATO and the West a quarter of century ago, that has no relevancy to Russia and it’s relations in the middle-east.
Every single war the west caused in the balcans was to supposedly hurt Russia.
Nice to know that the people there contiue to suffer couse the west thinks
they are “little Russia” and kick them to hurt russia and Russia just says go ahead
we do not care …
WW1 and 2 Russia encouraged the balcans to throw themselves against
the nazis. And both the balcan wars before the ww1 and the most recent
ones where mostly to limit russian influence in the region while these were
unable to help couse of the sowjet collapse.
The wars in Ukraine, Georgia and Armenia hell even the war in Syria to some
degree was done to limit russian influence.
And you say why should russia care. Well if the russians would have cared a bit
more that the west is using the education and media in ukraine to turn all ukrainians
against russia, they might not have one more neighbor who cares more to hurt russia
them to do something good for their own people.
I wish Putin would say this publicly so the eastern christians would stop
hurting themselves for this strange thing called christianity that they feel
somehow counts… third rome and protector of orthodox christianity blabla …
If the so called pathetic balcans would have not slowed the nazis down, the russians might not
have been able to do parades in moskow nowadays.
Not that this would be a good thing. The nazis have this same mindset to kill all slavic people couse
they are somehow russians to them.
Why is the idea that a christian nation would do something in christian interest called idiotic while jewish and muslim organisations do the same thing the entire time and it is considered normal.
Sometimes the mindset between the USA/ EU and Russia seems not so far away from each other.
At the end this just seems to be some twisted game of thrones between players and the small nations
are just there to suffer to the others enjoyment….
Who are you calling tribal? We are a fricking civilization for the Hamas/Hezbollah primitives. Why else would they all flock over here like homeless nomads?
And no, Russia has no interest helping Iran, Iraq, Syria or any of the other murderous savage countries from the Middle East.
Angry Pro-Zionist comments like this bring down the quality of discussion, and have no place on a platform for real debate, like this site.
We all know the Zionist trolls’ position, ie. Israel great, Muslims bad, and a truckload of lies to back it up.
Unless the Israelis have anything new or interesting to contribute, they ought to stay down in their underground holes and wait to be evicted in due time.
Go back to wherever you came from, Israelis, nobody wants you in the region.
Kotromanic, I do not know whether IRG were in Serbia but I can believe definitely that Alqaida were there: Alqaida is a CIA asset, the same that was used to destabilize Afghanistan. Can you supply a reliable Link for Iran helping NATZO’s Alqaida and Chechen mercenaries to break up Serbia?
Hello Dr. NG Maroudas,
i thought that this was known since it happened in
cooperation with the “good guys” and so it is not
something that need’s to be hidden.
I read it during the years many times and it is common
knowledge to the people from bosnia that the
iranian revolutionary guard was there to protect
the bosnian muslim leader izadbegovic and train
the bosnian mujahidin alongside al quaida.
Soleimani and Bin Laden were there at different times.
I do not know if there was any cooperation between the two
groups but both supported the same side that the USA
and Nato supported.
Here some links i could find in the short time.

Iran, a predominantly Shia country, was one of the first Muslim countries to provide support for the Bosnian Muslims (Bosniaks, who are mainly Sunni Muslim) in the war. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) sent more than five (5,000 to 14,000 tons from May 1994 to January 1996 alone[1]) thousand tonnes of arms to the Bosnian Muslims.[2] IRGC also supplied trainers and advisers for the Bosnian military and intelligence service.

Speaking of Hezbollah, if you can and if the Saker doesn’t mind, I please ask you all to share these photographs that are solid proof of how Hezbollah is loved by Christians in Lebanon and is one of the biggest protectors of Christians in the Middle East:
https://toranja-mecanica.blogspot.com/2021/05/o-hezbollah-e-um-dos-maiores-defensores.html
Thank you and may God be with you all.
I don’t have photos, but here is a video of a Christian singer singing praise for Hezbollah before a huge crowd. Judging by the dress of the crowd I believe most of then are Christians as well. She sings two sings in the video both praising Hezbollah.
