“The Democrats, through their PropOrNot web site and a compliant corporate media, have targeted BAR and other sites as purveyors of Russian propaganda and partly responsible for Hillary Clinton’s defeat. We’re proud to be on their hit list. Their ludicrous neo-McCarthyism shows the Democrats are not really a party at all, but a “gigantic marketing scheme meant to keep fearful progressives in line.” And the Washington Post is revealed as a lying rag.”-Margaret Kimberly of Black Agenda Report
They should invite Tulsi Gabbard and Dana Rohrabacher to speak briefly.

I agree on that one. One can easily imagine the total overflow of comments (as in many other blogs/forums) when this is in “free-flow”.
Personally I do not have any experience as a moderator (even though I have studied the various policies on a number of forums).
I would make a lousy one at that job for sure, so no envy for the job that moderators do on this blog.
I do appreciate the part “such as this” though.
More often than not, after spending a considerable amount of time in research for making a depiction (which some like, and some don’t), I might introduce this depiction with just one or two sentences, in context.-
I do sincerely hope that this will be appreciated/understood, amongst moderators here.
A bit out of context (about windmills). At the time in proper context to an article.
here are the two new moderation policy items. Number 7 is partly a result of copyright concerns by have complete articles copies and pasted on the web site. Number 8 leave lots of room for the moderator but after moderating for a period of time comments that qualify are quite obvious.

7) Please don’t cut-n-paste long segments of texts into the comment section. Use your own words and your own thoughts and, if needed, add a short quote or a link to an outside source.
8) Self evidently stupid, nonsensical and otherwise idiotic comments will be removed with no right to appeal.
Although I am able to decipher some French, please provide a translation in future. I understand that most people here are able to do that for themselves, but I feel it would be very kind of you to do so once, for all those who may be reading your post. – fk mod
in my estimation, this is probably a great example of a single line of not-very-funny snark that should have been sent to the trash bucket. In fact, it serves as an insult to the original post and esp. to the featured speakers at this very worthy event and those who are sponsoring it.
I hope readers will take their talents to their search engines and read up on this “coalition.”
Some might want to sign up to support this effort.
Gee , yes ,my gosh , and why not Noam Chomski , Tariq Ali , Norm Finkelstein who all signed the Assad Step Down Leftist petition ? They believe in the Arab Spring and in fairness to the Moderate Rebels . And let’s have Avaaz and , hey , White Helmets and MSF too , why are military industrial ngo’s excluded ? Maybe they could give some valuable insight on how they coordinate with ISIS .
Pleased to report my own country isn’t morally a totally lost cause – a proSyrian solidarity meeting organized by Dr Declan Hayes took place today in Dublin:
Couldn’t make it myself unfortunately being several hundred miles away, but so glad it took place: the mainstream media has lately taken a sinister pro-NATO tone, especially the national broadcaster.
So glad I don’t have a tv – otherwise my license fee would be subsidizing the propaganda.
And a complete violation of our constitutional neutrality.
This chipping away at it is death by a thousand cuts.
I am glad to read of this development, and if I lived in NYC I would definitely attend.
It is high time for some organized protest and discussion of the USA’s (IMO) disgraceful policies and activities in Syria.
I am hopeful that the Trump presidency will actually activate a great more organized protest in general. Not against his presidency per se (although some will surely view it that way) but against policies that should have been the targets of organized protests way earlier. But the role of Obama as the first black president I believed neutralized and ended up suppressing protest and activism that we would otherwise have expected to see.
So, very glad to see this. I will try to use the link posted.
I wish the professional Russian propagandists would help this bunch out a bit. The poster manages to complete omit saying what position this group actually takes.
I’m guessing that they are opposed to direct and overt US military intervention in Syria. But, given that the poster never really says, that’s only a guess.
If you get someone’s attention to read a poster, especailly a long one with lots of names, then take a minute to actually say what the goal of your organization really is.
On the other hand, this bunch was always much bigger on self-promotion of their names, so I’m rather certain that the main goal was so they could see the names of their local big-wigs and organizations in print and pasted onto a wall. That’s the way the IAC was when they were taking over the anti-war rallies of the last decade. Bore the crowd to death with lots of self-promotion, and actually rather helpless at organizing a movement.
I contend if you try going to Syria , as Eva and Vanessa have done , on your own dime plus a very limited financial help from donations , you might take exception on returning and speaking about it , to the claim you are doing it for self promotion . Syria is a place where the worst barbarisms known to man take place and where one can be shot or hacked to death at any time . Not enough information in the poster ? It’s not an Angelina Jolie trailer with all the info to please the self-entitled browser . It is the importance of the subject that is the trailer ; the medium is the message and the message is not entertainment .

Please elaborate, as of where this is stated.

Was tempted to post the latter as reply to one poster yesterday, that did annoy me a bit. I didn’t.

Hi mod.
I checked the moderation policy box but didn’t find any up-dates.
Can you provide a link?
I have passed your comment on to those competent to answer you. – fk mod

Modding is hard enough -especially on a site like this – without having to put up with the inane as well as malicious.
Thanks for the info, and for your skill and patience. :-)
