Interesting footage today. The “Hero of the Ukraine” Nadezhda Savchenko made her first speech before the Ukrainian Rada. She was introduced by another bona fide Nazi, Andrei Parubii, the new Speaker of the Rada and #2 in the Ukie Banderastan. I don’t know if that comes across to a non-Ukrainian speaker, but Parubii sounds, how shall I put it, not too bright. I heard the rumors about him having mental issues, but listening today I wonder if there might not be a factual basis to this. As for Savchenko, she was herself, no surprises here. She did tell the members of the Rada that she would not allow them to forget those who died for “our beloved Ukraine” and she looked rather angry. But then, she always looks angry. And just as during her speech next to Poroshenko the other day, she acted as if she was hearing voices or having trouble concentrating. Weird. Best of all, she then forced (psychologically) all these MR to stand and sing the Ukie anthem along with her. I almost felt sorry for them, especially seeing the rather tense expressions on their faces.
Frankly, she is every bit as nuts as some had said she was. I think that just as another “great” “Ukrainian patriot” – Alexandr Muzychko (aka “Sashko Bilyi”) – she will probably be shot pretty soon and then, of course, Putin will be blamed.
The Saker
PS: sorry, I don’t have the time – or inclination – to translate the totally predictable rubbish of Porubyi or Savchenko, I am sure that you can find it online if interested.
PPS: I am now really happy that Savchenko is in Kiev. Frankly, there is such a beautiful karmic justice to that. She is a much better “true face” of the Ukronazi Banderastan than, say, Poroshenko, Timoshenko or “Iats”. She really is the “real thing”, the perfect, concentrated and pure expression of Ukronazi hatred, ugliness and evil. The thought of the pseudo-nationalistic Ukie oligarchs dealing with this harpy makes me smile in sweet bliss. I hope for a lot of good footage of that :-)
PPS: Wanna hear something funny? The Ukronazi slogan “Україна понад усе” (Ukraine above all) is a direct copy of the German “Deutschland über alles” (Germany above all), as for the text of the Ukronazi national anthem “ще не вмерла Україна” (The Ukraine has not perished yet) it is a direct copy of the Polish “Jeszcze Polska nie zginęła” (Poland has not perished yet). As for the melody, it was written by, what else, by a Papist priest, Mikhail Verbitskii. Don’t you love these “nationalists”, LOL!
Dear The Saker,
I am glad you are not wasting your time and energy to traslate these hate filled individuals. As I wrote the other day she is as mad as a hatter – they are welcome to her. What goes aroud comes around – I have no sympathy for those in the Rada – they made their bed and deserve all that is coming their way. Tbh – I will trust what you have said and am not going to watch the video either – and give it views/clicks.
I met a Russophobic Russian (with a cousin in Kiev) the other day who basically told me all the people (“pro-Russians” – to quote the person) who died in the Odessa massacre – ” they desrved it – becuause they started it by shooting one of pro-EU demonstrators”.
When you have that kind of mentality/hatred coming from an ex pat Russian – it is so deeply upsetting how much people hate their own country and people. I am still disgusted and reeling by “they deserved it”. Unbelievable!
I have now had the displeasure of meeting one of these types……..
A number of people made the comment here earlier that this lethal hermaphrodite after being released by Putin would be given a big propaganda platform in the west (and Banderastan is west, isn’t it), and would be making statements, giving speeches…
And we are now witnessing the fulfilment of that prediction! The creature even got a prominent public platform on Saker’s web site!
So far what I predicted a month or more ago about what would happen if she was released has come to pass. There are a few more predictions in that long ago post yet to come to pass But I feel pretty sure we’ll see them too, soon. I still disagree that having her there is a good idea. I do agree that she is an embarrassment and the “real face” of the “new” Ukraine. And to we here, that may seem a good thing. But you see, they don’t think like we do. To them (the nationalist fascists) what we see as embarrassment, they see as enthusiasm for their cause. What we consider as “crazy talk”,is exactly the way they talk, and think. She may/will be a problem for the oligarchs. But they don’t care about that. If anything they hope for it. She is what the nationalist fascists consider a hero, and a “right thinker”.The level of violence she could cause against Russians and pro-Russians is yet to be seen. But I feel its there waiting to show itself.
I’m more and more convinced that sending Savchenko back to Kiev was the best option Moscow had. Just as Banderites serving as parliamentarians instead of hiding them behind the scenes allows the rest of the world to view Ukraine for what it really has become, Savchenko will continue to be a showcase for what to expect in Kiev. Sometimes the best way to shut someone up is to give them a microphone.
The rest of the world doesn’t see anything the Empire doesn’t want them to see. The media simply just doesn’t cover it.
@Don Wiscacho
exactly as you have described in your post. This was nothing just a master made decision by Mr.Putin to show the all world that what happened to Ukraine after the US orchestrated mess. Just let them swim in this madness maybe one day Ukraians must to get to their healthy mind, but it will take time at the same time Europe and the all world is watching what the dying fascism is able to produce.
Sorry – disagree, Uncle Bob. I love most of your commentary, however!
Unless one has plans to treat and reform this psychopath into some semblance of a “normal” human being, then one is better off positioning this ticking time bomb where she will do the most damage.
God knows what sort of upbringing she must have had and what sort of qualities she has inherited, but it would appear that she is truly incurable.
I do not say this lightly for it is akin to judging and condemning a fellow human creature.
This move was truly a master-stroke.
Thanks for your words. But here we do disagree. If they cared about her insanity,I’d agree with you. But to them (her supporters, not the oligarch class) she is normal. That’s how a fascist “stormtropper” is supposed to act. The danger I see is as someone else mentioned. That she will up the violence against our people. As much as she will be a thorn in the side of the oligarchs. She is only a “poison-pill” if the people she leads are affected by the poison. But since almost all their other leaders are as crazy as she is,her supporters are immune to her poison. But our people aren’t.
@ Uncle Bob 1
You have summarized what have been my observations also. Being a mere mortal, Putin makes good moves and bad moves, but this one was terrible. Just wait now for more fallout.
I’ve been watching the Russian president and also the peanut gallery as long. There are always numerous well meaning amongst the audience who have been impressed so far but now see he is finally making a mistake. Interestingly you all turn out to be wrong and Putin does come out on top. My money is on his decision this time too. There are some people who are like some weapons, so dangerous and difficult to control that they are inevitably more dangerous to those who try to use them. This vile creature, who has committed war crimes already I remind the Ukrainian apologist on the site, is such a person/weapon.
Ukraine is nothing but the world’s largest psychiatric hospital.
Psychiatric Compound, but not a hospital. There is no treatment or maintenance going on in Ukraine.
The dogs run free inside the fences.
Let’s give peace some chance. Make love not war. Forgive our enemies. Ukraine people is still a friendly one, as it has always been. 1% ugly guys against 99% generous persons. Their land belongs to Christ. Pape Satàn, pape Satàn aleppe!
Russia is not abandoning and has not forgotten about South-Eastern Ukraine, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Sergey Lavrov, stated in an interview with Komsomolskaya Pravda.
“We are not abandoning and have not forgotten about the South-East of Ukraine, and we are actively supporting them with humanitarian aid and the resolving of ongoing economic problems,” the Russian minister explained.
According to Lavrov, Donbass will never agree to the deployment of any kind of international force on its territory.
“This is not provided for in the Minsk Agreements. Donbass will never opt for this. All steps for resolving [the situation] must, without exception, be agreed upon with Donbass in according with the Minsk Agreements,” Lavrov remarked.
“The subject of security has suddenly become the most important one for President Poroshenko, but not only the ceasefire, but the ensuring of the safety of some kind of international force throughout the entire territory of Donbass,” he added.
but
Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine (NSDC) Oleksandr Turchynov said that the clashes in Donbass can become “full-blown hostilities”, reports the press service of the NSDC on Monday, May 30th.
He announced this at a meeting with the Chairman of the Seimas Parliament of Lithuania — Loreta Graužinienė. Turchynov also stressed for that Kiev, “it is extremely important to obtain military assistance from the West”. “We can’t meet the needs across the spectrum of weapons,” he admitted.
On May 25th, Turchynov, after the attack on his wife Anna Turchynov, assured that attempts to intimidate him and his family would not succeed. Earlier in the day, Interior Minister Arsen Avakov announced that a resident of the uncontrolled by Kiev territory of the Donetsk region attacked Anna Turchynov with a knife. “She was attacked with a knife, shouting: “you will respond for what you did ,**** “, — wrote the Minister.
A day earlier, Turchynov said that on May 23rd, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (UAF) suffered record losses in Donbass last year, seven soldiers were killed and nine were injured. Also, according to him, the use of strike and reconnaissance drones intensified in the combat zone.”
both from fortruss.
so stalemate or impasse? What is going to break the deadlock????
@ Oz
Indeed, the largest psychiatric hospital on the planet, well put.
My only question is: why does Putin insist on Novorussia staying in that psychiatric hospital? That is what Putin’s “Minsk 1, 2, …” are all about: Novorussians must stay in that lunatic asylum. May one wonder, how would he feel if someone forced him and his children to stay in one?…
Ralf: My questions exactly.
This wonderful “smart chess game” is turning into a braindead farce.
Putin gives them such criminals which in this case was punished to stay 22 years in jail for real reasons, hands “it” Sevchenko simply over and by doing so ridicules Russia’s own legal system.
Now the Ukrops may indeed ask: Look, there you see that they have no courts in Russia …
Sorry to the NoQuestionEverAskingHeIsAlwaysRight fanboys. It is simply no longer a chess move.
“… and by doing so ridicules Russia’s own legal system …”
I think you hit the nail on the head here, Martin.
It has been made so much about Putin’s supposed “strict adherence to the law” in the international relations – and here he is cavalierly brushing aside the basic law of his own country!…
Mr Putin is the President of the Russian Federation. He, like every president in the world has the power to pardon. He did not cross the law. Sorry for disappointing you and Martin from SE Berlin.
We, ordinary people don’t always understand what is in the big picture but we talk; o o o oh, we are so good at talking,we are so good at talking rubbish that sometimes I wonder if we are really worthy of having the right to free speech. No wonder the neocons don’t give a penny for humanity- we have proven times and again that we are good to be used or abused. The situation is really scary and frustrating but Putin knows what he is doing.
@ Valentina

German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier said on Tuesday that he hoped that the release of Ukrainian national Nadezhda Savchenko, convicted in Russia of being an accomplice to the murder of two journalists in Donbas, would bring a new dynamic into the Russia-Ukraine dialogue.

Lavrov: Release of Ukraine’s Savchenko From Prison ‘Right Move’
BERLIN (Sputnik) — Last week, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree to pardon Savchenko. She was delivered to Kiev following the pardoning.
On the same day, a plane carrying Yevgeny Yerofeyev and Alexander Alexandrov, Russian citizens convicted and sentenced in Ukraine for terrorism-related activities landed at Moscow’s Vnukovo International Airport, after Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko signed a corresponding decree to pardon them.
“I hope that release of Savchenko…will bring a new dynamic into the negotiations between Ukraine and Russia,” Steinmeier told journalists in Berlin.

Crimea has plans to open its representative office in Germany, Crimea’s Deputy Prime Minister Georgy Muradov said Tuesday.

Crimea to Submit Investment Projects to Chinese Business Within Month
SIMFEROPOL (Sputnik) — Muradov noted that the initiative to open the Crimean representative office in Germany came from local politicians and public.
“It must be a tourist and information center created on a voluntary basis, and in this case it should be a German citizen who will provide information on Crimea. We are able to implement that idea,” Muradov, who is also Crimea’s permanent representative with the Russian president, said at a press conference in Moscow.

German authorities exert pressure on politicians, public figures, businessmen and athletes who want to visit Crimea, German politician and head of the German party “Unity” Dmitry Rempel confessed during a press conference in Simferopol.
According to him, entrepreneurs and politicians are subject to pressure from several German agencies.
“Some business representatives who traveled with us had to undergo various check-ups, while their bank accounts were closed. Students were told that this trip might mean the end of their student careers,” Rempel said, adding that similar measures applied to hockey players who joined the delegation.

Crimea Preparing to Welcome EU, Arab Delegations
According to the latest data, some members of the delegation were forced to abandon their trips to avoid losing their jobs.
“Virtually everyone was forced to take part in some kind of a conversation and put under pressure in the area where they were vulnerable or dependent,” Rempel said.
According to Rempel, he and his colleagues might also face some sort of punishment when returning home. However, this fact did not prevent them from visiting the peninsula.
“We have deliberately come here. We don’t know what sanctions we will be subject to upon our arrival, but we want to help and ensure that our peoples and nations coexist peacefully and friendly,” the politician concluded.
Several European delegations have already visited Crimea since its reunification with Russia. For instance, in early May, a delegation of five Italian senators was in Crimea for a three-day visit to discuss economic and cultural issues. During their stay in Crimea they visited the cities of Sevastopol, Yalta and Simferopol and held a number of meetings with local authorities.

Chairman of the Left Party faction in the parliament of the German town Quakenbrueck Andreas Maurer said on Tuesday that he is planning to introduce a bill calling for the recognition of Crimea as a part of Russia and lifting of anti-Russian sanctions.
SIMFEROPOL (Sputnik) — Earlier in May, the group of lawmakers from Italian regional council of Liguria have introduced a resolution calling for the official recognition of Crimea as a part of Russia and for lifting of anti-Russian sanctions.
“I will definitely put this question in my parliament, although we [The Left Party] have no majority there, but to put this issue in the Parliament means to acquire a platform for discussion,” Maurer said to journalists.

Thanks JJ, this Steinmeier f*tard and most of his fellows in the german and eu governments belong onto a Ukro-Nazi massacre party, and this especially also includes hypocrits like Gauck and Martin Schulz.
Steinmeier – I never liked that idiot. But in February 2014 he actively earned his own death penalty.
Unfortunately there is no Nuremberg 2 nor any Yalta-8.

Concerning Crimea opening a “representative office” in Germany…
There is something very, very, very strange here. Perhaps it is that I am badly missing something, and hope that someone knowledgeable here might clarify it.
What I find so strange is that a mere region, a province of a country, has opened a “representative office” in another country. ***Not*** a tourist office, mind you. That is exactly like, say, if the U.S. state of Texas opened its “representative office” in Germany. Or German state Baden-Württemberg opened its “representative office” in Australia…
Now, one can understand opening of a Syrian Kurdish representative office in France, a “diplomatic mission” it is called. In midst of a big war, Syrian Kurds claim autonomy, they may be even aiming to secede, just like the Kurds in Turkey want to secede from Turkey … and then all these Kurdish groups might one day unite in a new state – Kurdistan.
But Crimea?… Let me be an extreme pessimist here. Is this perhaps some “hint” by our Putin, a part of some “cunning plan” of his, to relinquish the full control of Crimea, to make it “sort of independent”, in order to placate his Western “partners”?
I hope it is not so – but do fear it is not unthinkable.
No worries at this point.
It sounds as if Crimea simply wants more $$$paying tourists, and as a desparate step proposes this:

But I do agree with you that this stinks, it opens a new vulnerability that really begs to get exploited by the West. What would Russia think if west-flank nuke base Kaliningrad was about to open such an “office” in Berlin?
I doubt they would permit it.
The West is only waiting for such nonsense.
Earlier or later someone may sell his countrymen for a piece of silver :(
Yes, indeed, she is a very dangerous person because she incarnate the “dream” of the nationalists on one side and fascists on the other side of the Ukrainian spectrum. More than that, she represents the new “führer”, a female one, a lesbian one, which is very appreciated by the Empire. She has the ability to bring in a new wave of “revolutionary” feeling among the Ukrainians, a new/past “ideology” against the Russians and Russia, remembering of Germany past Weimar. This analogy is real and scary.
The eyes give her away. She is psychotic and probably hears voices as you surmise. This is a medical opinion from having seen psychotics in action over 34 years of Medical Practice.
The blonde in the white dress in the 5th row definitely not with the program. She doesn’t have her hand over her heart and immediately goes to her i-phone as soon as the tirade is over but then has to stand with everyone else. There were many in the audience who didn’t have their hand over their heart during the anthem so all is not well in the RADA.
Damn straight she looks angry and absolutely messed up. It also appears that those around her are scared and/or confused. WW3, meet your catalyst. Yes it also has a hui as in past wars. Watching her is disturbing.
The reason Ukraine copies slogans and songs from other countries is that Ukraine isn’t a country. Its 2 or 3 countries cobbled together so they have to make s#*t up.
But to this Nadezhda Savchenko has someone said that she has the same name of Nadezhda Krupskaya, the wife of Lenin, of which “her” cash strapped Ukraine is wasting money to frantically remove the monuments?
I thought she was supposed to have been on hunger strike.
Not much evidence of it there…
LOL.
Yes, it looks like she has been cheating on her “hunger strike” quite a bit–probably munching on Vicky Nuland’s specially-made GMO cookies and buns.
Thank you for this article, but may I ask you a favor? Please do not quote “Deutschland, Deutschland über alles” out of context as it has absolutely no fascist or imperialist meaning at all. Yes, the actual German government promotes the Nazi-project in Kiev, “Deutschland, Deutschland über alles” however isn’t anyhow related to Adolf or Angela.
I have to agree with you on that.
This “Deutschland Deutschland ueber alles” was written at a time when there was no Germany, but this fragmented puzzle of tiny statelets:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kleinstaaterei#/media/File:HRR_1789_EN.png
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kleinstaaterei
Only 90 years later it was abused by Hitler and misinterpreted out of context.
I have sung the song myself at the time of re-unification.
If I am not mistaken it was set to this music by Franz Josef Haydn, known as the Kaiser Quartet:
https://youtu.be/4t3Vmo_EM8Y ……………… years after Hadyn’s death in 1809.
The Austrian Hippie and Dark Occultist was a puppet on drugs who had no conception of who was really pulling his strings, and the fact that his sick mind had been captured to destroy German culture, going back to even before Haydn. The Bach family.
In contrast, who was Hitler’s favorite composer? Richard Wagner!!
One of my favorite quotes of all time, is by Mark Twain:
“Wagner’s music isn’t as bad as it sounds!”
Who was behind all these cultural and political battles? The British Empire and the Bavarian illuminati founded May 1, 1776 sixteen years after the death of JS Bach. Same occult banking, political intelligence and cultural warfare net works that now have the USA by the testicles.
Hi Bro, only responding to the modern part:

I as GDR citizen can tell you, true, true, true.
They destroyed our industry from the 1st day on. Vast areas of former GDR are de-industrialized and meanwhile de-pupulated. No wonder given the unemployment.
This so called “re-unification” was one of the largest hostile takeovers and exploitations in history of humanity:

Martin, I am fully aware of how the reunification was perverted and in fact assassinated by Thatcher and George H. W Bush.
When I sang the German national anthem, Albert Herrhausen, head of Deutsche Bank, who had a stated policy of utilizing East German industry to develop Poland and other parts east of Germany had not yet been blown up by RAF (“pretend” communist terrorists actually run by NATO, ie Britain and US).
http://www.dialoginternational.com/dialog_international/2009/11/alfred-herrhausen-assassinated-20-years-ago.html
You may or may not know that when Helmut Kohl heard in private the law laid down by Thatcher and Bush for the reunification (no development east, privatization and looting “free” enterprise only…) he said it was, “The worst day of my life.”
Herrhausen had other ideas, so he was eliminated. A few other high ranking German policy makers also stuck to their principles for a little over a year, until Detlev Rohwedder was killed by the same supposed “communists”.
That work, in reality for British Intelligence. Here they gloat in their newspaper:
http://germanguerilla.com/1991/04/04/rohwedder-assassination/
But here is an anti-Thatcher/Bush cabal view of the matter:
http://www.larouchepub.com/eiw/public/1991/eirv18n14-19910412/eirv18n14-19910412_006-assassination_of_rohwedder_benef.pdf
There were westerners who had the right policy, but the NWO crowd was hegemonic and will be hegemonic until they are brought down by their own crimes and hubris.
Very good Bro, you know it all.
Especially also about this fake “left” so called “RAF” aka Gladio style operation.
Few are aware of that.
Well, as for Kohl or Kohn(?), then you are also aware of the Kanzlerakte (“Chancellor file”) etc.
Have you seen what I wrote about the situation here: /germany-sitrep-researcher-c-talks-to-scott-may-18th-2016/
?
Yes, I bet you have.
Well – not my country anymore.
Dommed and hopeless.
Yes, Martin, I recall that post of yours, but time does not allow me to work through either the German or the Russian. If I had the energy and health I would learn Cyrillic and more vocabulary and grammar, after a bunch of Pimsleur tapes, several years ago, but I don’t.
Yet I got the gist of your remarks and remember vividly your refusal to pay for govt tv.
My sons attend Russian School in LA on Saturdays for last several years. I hope they can do a half year exchange program in high school, or a year in college, to fulfill my dreams for me.
By the early 1990s I was clear on the fact that without the kind of resistance Russia and China could represent, our Anglo-American psychopaths could not be stopped in their drive for world hegemony and a massive culling of the human race.
They nearly killed and buried Russia by the late 1990’s but digging graves was just too much work to take on with any speed or thoroughness, and the NWO crowd lost their chance when Russia staggered to its feet and walked away from the graveyard.
Bro, yes:
“””””By the early 1990s I was clear on the fact that without the kind of resistance Russia and China could represent, our Anglo-American psychopaths could not be stopped in their drive for world hegemony and a massive culling of the human race.”””””
the end of the Soviet Union simultanously meant that the West no longer saw any requirement to hide its true colours behind some cute sweet fancy masks. The exponential Dollar fraud becomes more difficult to hide by the hour, and so they finally gave up their efforts to even try to hide it. Living standards are plummeting all over the globe, not only in former Eastern Bloc countries.
Russian skills: You can learn Cyrillic in 30 minutes, that’s _not_ the problem. Even if entirely written in latin script – the language itself is much richer than English, and much more fine grained. At the same time way more complex and sophisticated. When somebody learns English it is possible at early stages to start communicating. With Russian that’s not so.
Honestly, I don’t know if you should spend 1000’s of hours on that.
Simply enjoy some lessons,
You know it already, but I cannot repeat her often enough :)

Doesn’t that sound like a contradiction? To me it does.
Independently of all that one fact remains in either case: She (22 years prison sentence) was sold for far far far too little too late: 2 innocent Russian “tourist volunteers”
As was correctly pointed out in the recent Crosstalk even by the American, it was an extremely bad deal for Russia.
After Debaltsovo the least Russia could and should have demanded is, that finally Ukraine agrees to M2 plus releases the all 1000(?) political prisoners.
That’s like selling a brand new Ferrari for 50$.
I still cannot believe that VVP agreed to this crap, but I saw it with my own eyes how he did (video).
To praise this nonsense as “smart poisoned gift” aka “chess move” is honestly severely disgusting me.
“Volunteer tourists” They were almost certainly Russian agents. If not, then there would be no deal. Also, it seems to me that people are acting as if Savchenko is indeed some kind of inspirational figure for Banderastan. No. Her value for Banderastan and NATO was that as a prisoner in Russia she could be portrayed as a martyr and a hero against the Russian hordes and the evil Kremlin. Now that they have her back that card can’t be activated anymore. What is Poroshenko and his NATO masters going to do with Savchenko now? Unleash her psychopathic ass on Donbass? Lol! What will that achieve? Can Nadezhda Savchenko tilt the balance of power between NATO-GCC and Russia? Who is she exactly? Wonder Woman? Scarlett Witch? Some kind of superheroine? She is just a very bad taste publicity stunt.
This sounds similar to the Russian strategy in Chechnya; let the extremists alienate most of society and then present Russia as the reasonable alternative.
@ Edward
That in Chechnya was not any such “strategy”: the outcome was due to the stupidity of insurrectionists and strength of Russian army.
As for trading this monster in exchange for anyone, that is a deplorable travesty, legally and morally. No parallels with Chechnya.
A Ukrainian version of Joan of Arc? Is this the Ukronazi PR plan?
It doesn’t look like a full house.
I would have expected the place to be packed full of deputies to see their hero(sarcasm)
She really is a truly awful person. She just gives me the creeps. Better that she is there with her people. Maybe she doesn’t seem so mad to them.
If she does go on a tour of Europe she will need a makeover – to be blunt she’s far too manly to be a heroine.
People who believe that Savchenko will somehow raise the level of violence against the Donbass need to explain how she as the pathetic individual that she is will achieve something like that. Whether the war in Donbass escalates or deescelates depends on the planetary struggle between NATO-GCC and Russia-iran-china, not on whether Nadezhda the psychopath is in a Siberian prison or set loose in her natural habitat of Euromaidan.
Whose strangling the cat?
Had this harpie been kept in a Russian prison the cancerous tumor that she is would have continued to grow via the MSM.
Recall all the western leaders crying for her during the trial as she was such a useful “prop” for the anti-Russian coalition. Also recall all the words of support from the same when she was pardoned and sent back to Ukronaziland. She will soon, if not already, be old news in the MSM and be forgotten by them. This is a benefit to Russia.
In the overall geopolitical context very few people care what is now going on in the Ukraine, it is no longer the “flavor of the month” in the MSM and the harpie will soon be forgotten. As long as she was in a Russian prison she would have had a life outside of the Ukraine, that has now been snuffed out.
It is one less thing that Russia has to “defend” against, and. as per normal, the release was “spun” with such humility, that none of the west could find any means to undermine it and use it in their anti-Russian rhetoric.
I am a Ukrainian-speaker who listened to Savchenko’s very short speech as recorded here.
Assuming it was unedited, this is clear that she is no accomplished public speaker, she showed signs of hesitation and stress.—No doubt she suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder [PTSD] which under the circumstances would not be unusual.
Her whole speech consisted of several calls of “glory to Ukraine” and “glory to heroes” which are admittedly slogans traditionally used by various Ukrainian patriots and “nationalists” and even the “fascists”,—she was busy unfurling and handling both a huge Ukrainian flag and tiny little, I believe, it was a Crimean Tatar flag, which no doubt somebody instructed her to carry. She sang the Ukrainian anthem, showed herself a rather poor singer and it seems got a few words wrong but only as minor little mistakes, she did apologize to the mother of someone else who she said gave up his life to save her life, and then it seemed the main thrust of her speech was a call for efforts to free some other Ukrainian prisoners held in Russia.—“Freedom for the prisoners of the Kremlin” was the poster that she helped put up even as the poster calling for her freedom was taken down.—That was it.—It was very notable what the speech did NOT contain, like no calls
for “death to Putin” or “dismember Russia” or “march on Moscow burn it to the ground” or “enslave and exterminate the Russian people, those damn ‘moskals'” or “white race is the best, enslave and exterminate all the non-white ‘mud people'” and so on.
So where is that “perfect, concentrated and pure expression of Ukronazi hatred, ugliness and evil”? I do not see it in this instance.—Assuming that her trial and conviction were not just a rigged show trial from the start, and that she is indeed guilty as convicted, she obtained a pardon for other strictly strategic and political purposes, got released,—I would not want her to be some poster-person representing Ukraine, but on the other hand, the reaction against her even within this blog is phenomenal in its intensity. Had this been anyone else in the identical circumstances, be it German, British, French, Serbian, Arabic, Kurdish, Israeli-Jewish, Chinese, Japanese or you name the nationality, I do not think there would be even half the venom which is directed against her because she is Ukrainian.
Maybe the reason that “Ukrainian nationalism” tends to be so very angry, as it is accused of being exceptionally “hate-filled” etc. is because no other nationality,—except for the Jews,— faces the kind of fundamental opposition to its very existence as do the Ukrainians.
Let’s review some prominent points in history. When “Ukrainians” by such name first arose in history, in the 1500’s-1600’s, they had organized themselves into a cossack army where leaders served more or less at the pleasure of the rank and file being free persons, where slavery and serfdom where abhorred and fought against.—At that point, the Russians-Muscovites-Suzdalians thanks to the depradations of the regime of Ivan the Terrible were essentially a slave empire where the tsar owned everybody as his “kholops” his personal chattel-property-slaves. It was like South Korea versus North Korea. Over the years, the larger and stronger slave empire simply dismantled and overwhelmed the what it liked to call “Small Russia” and Ukrainian language and identity were persecuted and repressed because they were anti-tsarist subversive. After all, the eminent leader in Ukrainian literature was Taras Shevchenko, son of a serf, who did not have much good to say about tsars and kings and landowning nobles handling the serfs on the “plantations” so to speak. Of course, the tsarist regime did not want its subjects to start learning and reading the Ukrainian language and coming to appreciate someone like Shevchenko. To be Ukrainian was deemed to be anti-tsarist subversive.—After the communists took over, under Stalin’s regime, there arose in the 1930s a policy of the “confluence of nations” stressing conformity and uniformity, to construct the so-called “Soviet people” who were supposed to be strictly culturally and linguistically “Russian” within the parameters of what the communist party considered appropriate Russian culture, and all non-Russian cultures suffered massacres of the cultural leaders, efforts to wipe out all non-Russian languages and cultures, in the stalinist way.
The Ukrainians bore the brunt of this policy. Previous Ukrainianization policies were reversed, cultural leaders were massacred, Ukrainian-speaking population was subjected to starvation policy, and the concept of a Ukrainian communism was wiped out. Again, to be Ukrainian was deemed to be anti-regime, counterrevolutionary and subversive. It was the same pattern repeating itself. Assorted fascists were the only ones left to advocate for a Ukrainian identity.
It looks like through the preparations for the “Novorussia project” even well before 2014 with trainng for military action existing,—like the counterpart training of the Ukrainian nationalist forces in Poland,—Ukraine was again supposed to filfill its cursed geopolitical destiny to be a ravaged battleground between outside forces, and this is regardless of whether Ukraine is or is not “part of Russia”. The Ukrainian oligarchs were clearly not warmongers and they believed in and relied on the validity of the Budapest Memorandum and on the force of international law in general to guarantee the inviolability of Ukrainian borders, and so they drastically neglected the Ukrainian military and essentially disarmed, got rid of strategic bombers, cruise missiles, nuclear weapons, even preferred to sell modern weapons for cash and let the Ukrainian army work with the old obsolete weapons which would supposedly never need to be used anyway.
The Ukrainian reliance on law did not work, and was betrayed, leaving the Ukrainians like a nest of frantic enraged hornets. Clearly, the humans in general are like gladiators in an arena, setting about to do endless warfare in order to produce the maximal amount of rage energies and fear energies as the true end in itself, in order to enhance and “feed” predatory evil emotional entities whose playground the world is.—But the Ukrainians are not to blame for this situation!
When I see this barking fugly Savachenko a particular old song comes to mind right away.
Woof! woof! woof! who let the dogs out?!?!

Not enough lipstick in Ukraine for this pig.
She was wearing shoes at least.
“über alles” in german sounds quite similar than “liberales” in some other languages … in symbolism well exploited by western conservative propaganda of the 80’s, through the music of “dead kennedys” … :) ukraine seems to be just a new playground for old ideas.
