The story says that Russia and Iran threatened to attack US forces if a ‘red line’ was crossed. This is an outright lie.
A fake news story has been circulating on both mainstream media and alt-media saying that Russia and Iran have issued a joint threat to ‘use force’ in the event of the US targeting Syrian forces again. It was also reported that the issue was quoted as being a ‘red line’, a term generally used by the United States.
The Duran is putting a lot of effort into having this one debunked.

OK, so whether you call it a “red line” or an ultimatum of “Syria/Russia reserves the right to shoot down any trespassing aircraft”, the result is the same.
The US has been essentially told to butt out, that the lies about US military chasing ISIS all over Syria are no longer accepted as valid. The US has no legal choice at this point. They can’t invade under a Libya-style UN “R2P or “war on terror” approval, because Russia and Iran have been invited by Syria and the US/NATO “coalition” has not.
Hence the excuse used to justify the 20 armoured vehicle/Special-Forces incursion “chasing 20-30 ISIS terrorists” who attacked US Special Forces WHILE THEY WERE OPERATING INSIDE SYRIA. If “ISIS” had attacked the US forces while they were in Jordan, then ran back to Syria, fair dinkum… but the US needs to learn they enter Syria at their own risk. And if ISIS really IS turning on their US-backers… unintended consequences suck… Afghanistan and Iraq all over again.

Fake news reports on Russia and Iran preparing to retaliate against the illegal US missile attack on Syria are filling the web, but this could not be further from reality.
In a telephone call between Presidents Hassan Rouhani and Vladimir Putin, Russia and Iran have pledged to remain committed to aiding Syria in the fight against terrorism.
According to the Kremlin’s Press Service,
“On the initiative of the Iranian party a phone conversation between Vladimir Putin and President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Hassan Rouhani was held. … [The presidents] exchanged their views of the situation in Syria. Both parties pointed out the inadmissibility of US aggressive actions against the sovereign state in violation of the international law. Putin and Rouhani called for holding an objective, impartial investigation of all circumstances of the incident involving chemical weapons in the Syrian province of Idlib on April 4”.
The statement continued,
“The Leaders also noted the importance to continue close cooperation on political and diplomatic settlement of the armed conflict in Syria”.
Contrary to the views of John McCain, Iran and Russia are not going to simply do nothing in the wake of the US attack on Syria, but nor are they going to counter-attack on the US or any state allied to the US.

The Swedish NGO Doctors for Human Rights (SWEDHR) has accused the Syria Civil Defense, better known as the White Helmets, of falsifying information about its alleged work in Syria. According to the Swedish human rights activists, so-called “rescue” procedures captured in White Helmets videos had been staged; they were carried out on a dead child.
SWEDHR findings have raised serious questions about the ethical integrity of the White Helmets regarding the anti-medical procedures they advertise in their videos. Looking through the statement it seems to state no more than the countries have stated individually.

They have made space for Turks armor and air power in a tight region, and US coalition air strikes and treachery via mortars, artillery, IEDs and errant aerial bombings.
The Russians will provide the right weapons systems, munitions and tactics to go forward.
