Hezbollah Secretary General, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah:
Based on this assessment, there’s an important issue I wish to raise, and it is – in my opinion – the most important thing I will say in this speech; meaning that this is something we should carefully consider and work towards. This important thing that the Zionists should know and understand, to which the Ummah should also strive, not to mention the Axis of Resistance, which is in fact actively pursuing this and preparing for it – however we still need to work at this harder and faster – …
They should know that – and I am now addressing the enemy’s leaders, its leadership, its government, its army and whoever may be at their head in the next government or in the coming years – based on this (latest) experience you need to reconsider your assessments. You should know (based on what happened with Gaza)…you should know that when you threaten Al-Quds (Jerusalem), as a holy city, the Al-Aqsa mosque and Islamic and Christian sacred sites, that this is totally different from any other act.
You may kill some leaders here, or forcefully evict…as you do in some areas, as you do with the Arabs in al-Naqab (Negev) or other places, or some houses in different areas, you may assault or establish security perimeters or any number of things…but as long as this does not threaten al-Quds as a holy site, the Al-Aqsa Mosque, or Muslim and Christian holy sites, then those actions have their own formulas and responses.
However, when you threaten holy sites, then the matter is something different. The proof (for this assertion of mine) is what Gaza did in the past few weeks i.e. what the leadership of the resistance in Gaza committed to (militarily) with regards to al-Quds – the holy city – and the (other) holy sites. This is a clear commitment, and they abide by their commitments.
Moreover, I wish to add something that is related to outside of Gaza. We were all following the development of the battle. Let us leave slogans or hyperboles aside. The Axis of Resistance, its leaders, the resistance movements (of this Axis) in such circumstances are in communication (with each other) not only on a daily basis, but rather on an hourly basis. They act rationally, wisely, and responsibly, and in accordance with the interests of the battle in mind. They do not succumb to emotions, slogans, or act foolishly.
What the Israelis need to understand here is that by threatening (i.e. harming/violating) the holy city (of al-Quds), the al-Aqsa Mosque, and the holy sites, (the response that will occur to this) will not be limited to Gaza. (The Israelis) must now add this to their calculations. Of course we do not do this on behalf of the Palestinians, but rather in support of them, standing beside them…This matter should be a commitment upheld by the people of the region, all movements in the region, and the entire Axis of Resistance in the region, be they states or resistance movements.
Now of course, I am stating my own opinion, that this is what we should aspire to, so that we can establish a new formula, a new formula that states – the resistance in Gaza established a new formula that is “(threatening/violating the) al-Aqsa Mosque and al-Quds equals armed confrontation.” This isn’t something that should necessarily happen with every minor incident, the ones who make that decision are the leaders of the resistance in Gaza who take all matters into consideration when making their decisions. The formula we should establish in the future is: “al-Quds equals regional war.” That is it. (Attacking/violating) al-Quds means regional war.
All resistance movements cannot sit idly by when the holy city and holy sites are under real and serious danger. It is not permissible; the resistance movements, the Axis of Resistance, cannot stand (idly) by. Therefore, when the Israelis understand this formula, that it is a real and serious formula, and that preparations are being made for it day and night, and that the people of resistance in the region will not forsake this holy city, nor will they forsake these Islamic and Christian sanctities, (nor allow them) to be demolished and destroyed and concocted replacements built on top of them…the Israelis will then understand that any such step will be a threat to (the very existence of the Israeli political) entity, because the result of any regional war, if it takes place, and considering Israel’s (current) reality, and based on the (current) reality of the region and the movements and states of the Axis of Resistance, in my opinion, (the result) will be the downfall of the (Israeli) entity.
So today, we are faced with the great, bold, historic experience that the resistance of Gaza undertook, and we must develop this stance to that level. By taking such a decision; by adopting such a serious determination; (by establishing) this new (military) equation (i.e. violation of al-Quds equals regional war), we can certainly protect the holy city, and we can protect the Islamic and Christian sanctities in this holy city.
Israel’s Iron Dome Shot Down its Own Aircraft During Gaza Conflict: Concerns for Viability Against Hezbollah
https://militarywatchmagazine.com/article/israel-s-iron-dome-shot-down-its-own-aircraft-during-gaza-conflict-concerns-for-viability-against-hezbollah
History often exposes ‘religious wars’ as something else. Mostly they were wars of subjugation for economic reasons (land treasure etc) although recently we have the US military ‘weapons profit’ motive which is beyond any past considerations. ‘Spreading democracy’ is similar to spreading religion as in the past. Killing people then and now is merely the result of such perfidity.
So now we have Jeruselum which seems to be the epicenter of many fanatical religious sects yet we must ask … where lies the treasure or profit and how far will the sides advance without gain. Neocons see opportunity should they manage an exponential growth to larger involvements while Russia and China are little interested beyond strategic footholds. Israel wants the land as that is Zionism.
Assalaamu alaykum w w.
The treasure here is power, or world domination. When the war between the Z’ism and Islam takes place that will eventually trigger a world war after which the state of I’rael will be able to rule the world (since the Russian led alliance and the western alliance mutually will destroy each other).
God knows best but this war has been outlined in the famous letter by Albert Pike about three world wars etc.
Unfortunately Albert Pike’s famous letter is a hoax.
Israel wants land, yes. And water. And to be left alone.
Give them land, water and leave them alone. The problem is, Muslims understand and give only violence. So here we are.
You wrote, “And Israel wants to be left alone.”
Yes, the world should leave the Zionists to continue the occupation of Palestine, evict Arab and Christian Gentiles from their homes, steal their land, uproot olive trees to deny farmers participation in a market economy, harass fishermen who try to make a living from the Mediterranean Sea, illegally enter Muslim Holy sites and murder the Gentiles in the streets with impunity.
The only peace the Zionists want is a “piece” of every square kilometer of Palestine to complete its “Right of Return” made-up doctrine.
You would say a different story if IDF tells you to pack your things and leave your house in 24 hours.
I am speechless!
So you are telling us that it is perfectly OK when a country “wants land, and water” ?
Perfectly OK to steal land and water, by expelling, maiming and killing the people already on such land and water?
Putting your complete lack of ethics aside, and looking at it in a completely amoral and dehumanized way, you still are mossing a point : Palestine, Lebanon and Syria also “want land and water” (actually, they want their land and their water back).
What rationale do you use to tell that Israel “wanting land and water” is fine, but other “wanting land and water” isn’t?
(and about “violence”, you seem quite blind, as in this particular case it is NOT the “Muslims” that give the more violence, very far from it.)
Well, Muslims—or in this case Palestinians—also want land and water.
Everyone needs land and water.
And everyone would like to be left alone to enjoy their own possessions in peace.
But the Israelis’ land and water were under Palestinian land! (joke–cf. what is American oil doing under the MENA??)
And the Israelis won’t leave anyone alone until they get all the land and water.
If they are allowed to do so.
Israel wants land, yes. And water. And to be left alone.
Give them land, water and leave them alone.
Nice argument. Here’s one for you:
Rapists only want to force intercourse upon their victim, and then to escape prosecution. So let them.
Now, you might say there’s a difference b/c Israel only wants land and water but not to commit rape. Of course, that argument is specious. Israel is forcing itself upon Palestine the same way a rapist forces himself upon his victim, and that is through violence. Then Israel says it has the right to
commit rapedefend itself.Wanting does not justify taking, but Zionists think wanting to take from a goy justifies taking.
The problem is, Muslims understand and give only violence. So here we are.
The problem is that
JewsZionist Jews are lying, thieving, murderous invaders. The problem is you! You understand only violence.
After what the germans did to you, its pretty rich that you turn around and do the same thing to palestinians.
Yet discussing this in the west is taboo? No taboo with me buddy.
We wont give you more land or water, your greed has no limits, you will always want more, because in the end your colonizers with iphones in your pockets.
Your the problem not the victim.
@John Hagan: “we must ask … where lies the treasure or profit and how far will the sides advance without gain”?
The curse. Anglo Zio Capitalism condemns its followers forever to weigh the price of everything and the value of nothing.
“ὅπου ὁ θησαυρός σου, ἐκεῖ καὶ ἡ καρδία σου”
“ubi thesaurus ibi et cor”
“where your treasure is, there is your heart” — Matthew 6:21
The hearts of Anglo Zio Capitalists are with their money bags. They will not fight for the Holy Land. But “religious fanatics” will.
Nevertheless, even though modern Israel is a prestige project of Anglo Zio Capitalism I would not insult Jewish Zionists by claiming that their aims are mercenary. Money could not have kept Zionism alive for thousands of years. Zion is something much more powerful and enduring than wealth — it is a religion. What Jewish Zionists need to understand that is that Christians and Muslims share their view of Zion, of a Holy Land where the Lion will lie down with the Lamb. Zion is one of the great myths of restless humankind forever wandering around this Earth: the myth of a Homecoming. The ancient Greek version of this myth is one of the great classics of Western civilisation: the Odyssey describes a homecoming, a fight for that home, and a peace (Gr. nostos).
No, Zionism, or more correctly its root in talmudism, is a narcissistic cult.
Some random narcissist chiselled up some tablets and conned gullable tribesment into believing they were the word of god. Then the rules started and because the gullable tribesmen succumbed to the con and believed they were “gods chosen people” the tribesmen followed the rules. Future leaders reinforced the narcissism and on it goes.
Expecting that adherents to the cult will understand anything other than their own narcissistic desires is optimism in the face of millenia of observable fact, and on that basis completely insane.
This is an ominous development. Not only does it put the trigger to starting the next war in Israel’s hands, but it sets up a scenario where any “player” can stage a 9/11-style false-flag attack on al-Quds that will drive the region into chaos. This is playground behavior, “Do that again! I dare you! I double dare you!” Iran and Hezbollah should be above this level of behavior. Israel, of course, is not.
Been watching this never ending drama unfold for all of my 63 years now. Nothing new under the sun. We need to ring fence the entire region, invite all the major players in, evacuate everyone else out, and then let the fireworks begin, last man standing style, no do-overs or alibis allowed. No outside interference or reinforcements permitted after all the players have declared themselves. Come as you are and fight to the death. Might just be cathartic for all involved.
What you suggest sounds like what the born-agains call the Apocalypse. Maybe it doesn’t have to come to that. Maybe the God of justice, compassion, and truth has something else in mind, like people getting along with each other, taking care of each other. That crazy hippie, Jesus, once said, “The kingdom of Heaven will not come with observable signs. Nor will people say, ‘Look, here it is,’ or ‘There it is.’ For you see, the Kingdom of Heaven is in your midst.”
Yeah, I know. I just got done watching a very interesting documentary on the psychological study of serial killers on TV, so it’s put me in a bit of a mood. It reinforced my opinion that human beings – especially of the “enlightened western” variety – for the most part are a species to be avoided whenever possible. Read ‘hopefully not too many typos…’ comment below. He/she summarizes it perfectly.
You haven’t learnt much in your 63 years if you think this would be a solution. If you are American, what would be your response to a Native American Indian reclaiming his ancestral home, removing you from it… All watched over by his mates who outnumber and outgun you? Of course, this is distorting the issue when you consider that the Native American Indians claims are much more recent and verifiable than those of the European Zionists claiming Palestine. The solution is to stop allowing widely accepted International law to be routinely ignored by the colonialists.
Good points. Especially since I live on land that was stolen less than a century ago from Mestizos, who in may cases, are still quite bitter about it. Not that I have any special claim to it either. Like most Americans, I’m basically a drifter – a journeyman if you will – in search of employment these days. The underlying issue of issues is that we’ve exceeded the carrying capacity of the planet. There’s simply far too many of us.
“Not only does it put the trigger to starting the next war in Israel’s hands, but it sets up a scenario where any “player” can stage a 9/11-style false-flag attack on al-Quds that will drive the region into chaos.”
Exactly, but they are born of the plantation and can’t see it. Nasrallah pumps up their hopes and gives solice in the face of virtual stone age resistance technology to the ultra-modern globalised world driven by myth-based settler holiday-home logic. These Zionist actors are not the leading edge of a new world order. They are the last-to-the-party ‘me too’ tail-end loosers of a largely expired 18-19th century Anglo-European centered global empire programme try to expunge some of its post-empire guilt.
If it is of any comfort for those who cannot migrate to the modern world, various ‘tea-leaf’ reading methodologies suggest the original 1948 Zionist settler programme momentum had about a 120-year horizon. That places ‘now’ at the 70-year mark on the downward cycle. An alternative strategy for the remaining 40% of the journey until dissolvement of the current plantation entity, would be to surrender separate controntational identity ambitions and demand representitive citizenship under a domestic law ‘Palestinian Lives Matter’ (PLM) theme.
The oratory talents of Nasrallah (et al) would be better framed as a Malcom X and Mandela fighting for internal national change than faux nationalistic ambitions of what in essence has always been a frictional geographical crossroads since the Egyptian, Babylonian, Roman, Ottoman and finally British/French empires.
Let’s see if they pull the trigger that Mr Nasrallah has kindly just put into their hands. Bricks and mortar, whether temples or not, can always be rebuilt, as any post-earthquake human activity demonstrates. I suspect not. Not because they are fearful or feel in any way trapped by Nasrallah’s rhetorical ploy to ‘own’ the territory; but rather because their existing slow and steady ‘crown of thorns’ starfish crusader plan to own the ME coral reel (and control east-west pipeline access routes) is proving entirely successful over the long haul. Why change now?
Yes you are quite correct. Nasrallah’s red line does give Israel what, they seem to always be trying to provoke, a regional war. Why would he do this?
I speculate that the military results from the recent war with Gaza are so overwhelmingly in favour of the Axis of Resistance that even the Israelis now understand they cannot afford a regional war. Therefore Nasrallah is stating something that is self evident to all players.
Remember that his position has always been against such a war. He has often predicted that the majority of Israelis will leave Palestine on their own, with minimal blood shed. I see his speech as a psy-op. He’s stating the new reality to the average Israeli – something the IDF knows but won’t admit – to encourage them to leave.
I see it as a positive sign that Israel’s days are numbered if it cannot change and live in peace with its neighbours. I agree it creates a false flag opportunity which is ominous. The end result, however, will be the same – the end of Israel.
I’m beginning to suspect that the Sheikh is all mouth and no trousers.
On the contrary, Rev.Nasr’Allah wrote something big was coming up about a month ago; that speech must be still on Saker Vineyard. I thought at the time, This is big talk but the Rev usually means what he says.
What we have seen is the first installment of “trousers”. Up till now Israeli armed thugs have been able to rampage with impunity against Palestinians because of the disparity in arms. But in this month of May 2021 Israel payed a much heavier price for the pleasure of kicking Palestinians around. I think this is only the beginning. Remember: the Palestinians are the least numerous and the least armed of a growing anti-Zionist axis that Rev.Nasr’Allah warned us about before recent events exploded.
“All mouth and no trousers?”
In sha’ Allah you are right.
The extremist influences working and who rhey influence to create the new Solomons Temple and ensure Palestinians are dealt with
…it ain’t gonna stop.
https://thegrayzone.com/2021/05/26/fascist-party-netanyahu-israels-parliament-war/
The slogan works (as far as emotive slogans go) … the implied circular logic is less convincing.
Z’ism response: Back off skirt boy, or we’ll have pre-emptive ‘blackmail’ response justification to demolish said golden dome at the slightest hint of regional war and then fait accompli start on the 3rd temple complex.
Without Egyptian, Turk and collective Arabian policy there is little by way of teeth in this pronouncement.
And these ‘deaf’ Islamic leadership snouts are into the usd$ trough all the way up to and beyond their waxed ears.
The end of Ramadan tensions are long over. Nasrallah might be better getting back to rolling his falafals than barking at the Occupation’s full moon. The ‘Davis’ in Gaza threw a few stones at the kneecap of the planet’s largest trans-global fiat-based BS crusader cult corporation. Might work in post-slave ‘smoking bush’ mountain mythology but the 21st century gods of schismogenesis rule the region today.
When the once mighty Arabs sit down around a table and apologise to the ghosts of Gaddafi (and few others) — and when Erdogan, Sisi and whoever is running Tehran, together with the Arabian poodles, Pakistan and Indonesia sit down and proclaim these sentiments in one untied voice I sit up and listen with interest. Until them it is all, alas, largely just theatre of the disposessed.
That is why this speech is all bark-no bite kind of dribble.
Arabs will rather fight amongst selves, than stand up to Israel in unity. Even if there was some kind of organized Ressistance, the damage would be minimal. USA would never let the Israelis fight alone.
“USA would never let the Israelis fight alone.” Perhaps that sentiment is past it’s sell-by-date. World opinion went seriously against the imposter “Jews” and their latest round of psychopathic genocide. That opinion also critically censured America…. best to remember, Uncle Sam’s financial and military capabilites are severely restricted and lessening daily. These perfidious Zionists with fairy tales of “a choosen people” etc, etc are operatng an apartheid, racist feifdom on someone else’s land, it can’t and it won’t last….
You two, do you understand that we are actually coming to kill all of you?
And you are here to debate with us? Are you insane? Get back in your holes, or come and get us. Come get us in Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Yemen, and Iran.
You say we are divided. But we are many hundreds of thousands, battle-hardened and ready, with one goal: to come and get you.
Your Zionist ideas of world war and great death and destruction and Sampson Options are revolting. I don’t know whether to fight you, or vomit on you.
Be warned, you delusional narcissists. We’re coming for you all.
Well, as the “anonymous” above at “May 27, 2021 at 9:58 am” (inclusive of signature typos) I note your death threats without alarm. And I assume they pass the moderation filter test so the site host must see some value in them being shared.
Let me be quite clear in my response to this outburst (above at May 27, 2021 at 10:45 am EST/EDT):
1. You will need to get through Australian immigration C-19 barriers first if you are not domicile on that island continent.
2. I’m 65-yo who survived an agressive cancer chemo therapy programme during 2020 and have absolutely no fear of joining the next world into which I then looked briefly. I have made my Will perfect, as they say.
3. After some 10 years of research into the evolution of religions and some personal development programmes I actually embraced Islam in 1991 and have been to the two cities on a minor journey in 1997.
4. I was able to quiety practice my sufi orientated life style during the interregnum period until the 2001 9/11 incident.
5. Following the general hysteria around that period it became counter productive to engage actively and I moved into the shadows of a very private life where I have found the promised peace I was seeking.
6. Then came the second round of Syrian takfiri CIA-sponsored ISIS non-sense as the great game continued.
7. By this time (and until now) I live a simple life adhering to the minimum of the core principles (on the 10% at the end of days/cycles will be enough hadith principle) — and keeping maximum distance from disturbed people like you.
8. It becomes clearer after long age and research focused on understanding the ME mess that many of the problems are closely related to apartheid colonial Zionism that has very little of anything originally Hebrew/Jewish.
9. It also grows with the likes of people like you running around high on captagon shouting ‘Akhbar’ and eating human organs for the media while making death threats to anyone who disagrees with cleaning out the region’s antiquities for usd$ gain (flown in by pallet load).
10. Of course I assume your voice is a real person and not some bot or paid-for agency troll — although the latter would not surprise me either.
11. On the basis of (9&10), and that you may have personal cause to be angry, then I suggest you re-read my comment (posted above) and see that I have no liking, love or sympathy for the Zionist occupation of Palesine — and especially beyond the original allocated 1948 borders.
12. I also suggest that you reconsider my equally critical (perhaps cynical would be more accurate) comments on the so called Islamic myth that is clearly now in its last days — at least in that region.
13. Look a bit deeper than the end of your nose and perhaps you will see it is exactly all this empty puffed up cultural bluff and angry subaltern bluster that caused and allowed the original 1967 explosion of UN 1948 mandated Israeli borders to what they are today. And you want to rush in and facilitate the final solution?
14. There is a global hyper-modern post-WW2 programme at work which even the Russians and Chinese can barely resist — and you think a bunch of goat herders and olive-tree shakers locked in 6th century identity fantasy and dogma will prevail?
15. Hassan Nasrallah is a smart man, and his comments are usually worth considering to hear one side of the complex story. However, when one has to wade through several pages/minutes of canned cultural preamble and platitudes just to get to the start of the man point of communication, then we know that (a) it is more virtue signalling than strategic; and (b) it perpetuates the double-binding myth of “we the superior people because we believe in an all powerful god” but who unfortunately “seems to have been asleep since at least 1948” etc.
16. To anyone with some critical distance, the same underlying mythological tune is playing on the Zionist state phonograph — albeit, the flip side theme where he is now ‘awoken’ since 1948 and giving his self-chosen special ones their/your land back and endorsing an animal sacrificing temple on the rock.
17. Same, same, imo. It seems to be a function of the traumatised post-Abrahamic/Ibrahimic Semetic mind.
18. They set the trap and you lot fall for it. And the rest of the modern world living in the 21st century are basically well past the big-yawn stage.
19. When the strategic actions on the ground match the bold rhetoric in the hot air then something different might emerge. Until then, keep giving them the rope they need to hang you with.
That was the gist of my original comment. And neither your immature response, nor Nasrallah’s pronouncements gives me any confidence that things will change any time soon.
Israeli occupation will continue and grow until the fiat $usd collapses as a reserve currency — and as I point out, ALL your so called leadership would sell their respective asses in a second to get their grubby greedy hands on them. They are playing you like a fiddle. The same types ‘lead’ the west as well — there is just less cognitive dissonance involved due to diminished blind faith in religions per se, and more focus on science and engineering. Go figure…
I am in awe! Simply brilliant!
mate, good one!
… but me think this time is different!
Real differerence is… China and Russia… in the region… loud outspoken and doing things behind the scenes…
… and the BIG carrot for them is…
Russia, if ME is secured and russian brought peace to the region, then Russia becomes instantly the sole undisputed MIC in the world!
Chine, if ME goes back to being productive and join BRI, then the KING dies overnight as the new form of money will instantly, almost, be released to the public world population!
Not to mention both will be the correct side of history, which will give them right to ‘correct’ other history events, currently written not in their preffered colors…
and on and on… not to mention where the hot money will flow to put it lightly…
Obviously, PAL/ISR/ME are just players/pieces on the chessboard!
Make no mistake about that.
But me thinks – The carrot is YUGE for both russia and china if/when ‘perceived peace’ lands/rebirth in ME! The time appears to be right and ripe!
what do ya think, mate?
be well be safe
p/s obviously the drone tech and military strategy is not from purely ‘local’…
“China and Russia… in the region…”
Well, Russia is (in Syria) with ‘religious’ eyes (if any) on Hagia Sophia by way of symbolism — and perhaps with pipelines (or not) strategy in mind — i.e., either no Iran-Mediterranean pipeline transit; or one operated by Russian assets etc. To this end, they (Russia) are also probably happy, or at least indifferent, to dumping their problematic and deluded Ashkenazi trash on the occupied lands to the south of Syria. The incessent squabbling (cunningly, funded by the American printing press) serves the aims of a larger strategic game. Empires have interests, not friends. As for China, it appears, beyond infrastructure reconstruction business, that they are focused on energy access direct from Iran which has no need for Suez or ME access. They were in Libya until that was flattened by the Euro/Nato criminals to suppress China’s influence in the region and cancel a gold-backed African gold Dinna threat. They have most of resource-rich Africa to develop — why would they be interested in a complex god-bothering situation in the demented ME that potentially competes with their own energy supply deals with Iran etc?
“Russia, if ME is secured and russian brought peace to the region, then Russia becomes instantly the sole undisputed MIC in the world!”
The way I read Putin & Co, they have very little interest in the military control of the world beyond Russian border dynamics — apart from the business opportunities that 3rd-party frictions provide, of course.
“… just players/pieces on the chessboard! Make no mistake about that. But me thinks – The carrot is YUGE for both…”
Chessboard, yes. Carrot, yes.
Times scales involved are long (very long) and there is no strategic rush required while the postmodern deconstruction cancer eats away at the Anglo-European worldview and values systems. It is business (as usual) with some occassional nimble foot work as required to avoid the diseased giant slowly dying in, and falling out of, the increasingly depleated oxygen tent next door.
China dodged the C-19 bullet in 2019/20 and their authoritarian system has shown evolutionary advantages in/during “interesting times”. Many global governance trends are drifting that way now. The main comparitive vector in this 3-way game is that China and Russia both have (in their own ways) a real government structure that oversees and over-rules the business class domain. The USA, and most of their poodle satrapy states, have governments ruled over by the business oligarchy class. And one only needs to read Whitney Webb for a mind boggling tour of the webs of decit involved (thanks, Pepe E.). https://unlimitedhangout.com/2021/05/investigative-reports/the-cover-up-continues-the-truth-about-bill-gates-microsoft-and-jeffrey-epstein/
“what do ya think, mate? … obviously the drone tech and military strategy is not from purely ‘local’…”
The answer to this complex situation, imo, if there is one, is an Islamic aliance between Egypt-Turkey-Iran focused on local regional policies aimed at the betterment of the common people. I don’t see it happening any time soon while the corrupted elites enjoy their western sponsored exceptionalisms etc. As posted elsewhere, I frame it within a 120-year life cycle that is entering the final 40% to go “are we there yet?” phase. Strategy within this scenario makes some sense, but nothing will change until Egypt makes a move north and the Syrian-Turk issue is resolved — of which Lebanon is a factor. Gaza is just some convenient meat in the sandwich. It could be a Hong Kong of the region and host the UN headquarters etc. Unlikely, because solving the problem is not the aim. Prolonging it is. The USA Fed has the QE printing power to maintain a convenient status quo until it doesn’t. World perspective is much wider than the pawns in the ME understand — except to their god(s) and s/he seems to gone ‘awol’ for quite some time — no prizes in wondering why?.
Claims here that this recent tiff has “rocked” the world are projection. The 1973 Arab Oil Embargo rocked the world. The vicious blowback resulted in a neuted ME and the situation(s) we have today. These localised ME tensions as Zionist occupation works towards the American “Indian Reservation” scenario are in reality on par with the Sri Lankan civil war between Sinhalese and Tamil cultures, imo. China’s military and financial investments with the Sinhalese brought an end to the overt 25-conflict and won them (PRC) a nice strategic Indian ocean deepwater port facility on their ‘belt and road’ network to Iran and Africa. And now Myanma/Burma is burning. I don’t see that scenario having value for the PRC in the ME context. We are in a longer-term history cycle where, by 2050 (only 30 years way), most of Europe (and perhaps USA/Canada/Australia/NZ) will be clammering to get access to the Chinese market (and non-English based research and science) — as they were in the 18-19th centuries.
My 2-cent’s worth at least.
“We are in a longer-term history cycle where, by 2050 (only 30 years way), most of Europe (and perhaps USA/Canada/Australia/NZ) will be clammering to get access to the Chinese market (and non-English based research and science) — as they were in the 18-19th centuries.”
Perhaps! if Covid-19 vaccinations are of no depopulating, weaponised bacterial attack on the worlds population.
I suppose I had not fully grasped the significance of the holy site (apologies), nor fully understood that this was something beyond a red line for Palestine, it was existence itself, the meaning and value of life itself.
Nasrallah makes clear that Palestine brought into sharp focus a thing that existed but which had not been fully addressed before: that the holy sites of Christianity and of Islam are not to be touched by unclean hands – this act is de facto an act of war, and war is thereby declared, and thus exists, to be fought to its conclusion.
And in fact, perhaps Palestine, through its own virtue and its own sense of outrage against all that is good, even created this thing, that had not existed before.
All of the Resistance is in hourly contact, and Palestine makes its own decisions. And Nasrallah calls the decision that Palestine made, “bold” and “historic”. Yes indeed, it shook the world, and even the immovable Sayed Hassan Nasrallah is still alight from the glow of that phenomenal decision.
And for Israel, that act of hubris and cruelty backfired in a spectacular way, a transforming way that shatters old paradigms and forces new appraisals, a way that has changed the region, and that has shown the ugliness of Israel to the whole world
~~
For Israel to touch the holy site was as filthy as its little trolls in some of the comments here, seeking only to demean, never themselves to approach the stature of real people. And this is why Israel got its face slapped, and next time will get a punch in the mouth, and the blow after that may be the last thing it ever feels.
Nasrallah is one of the very few persons in this planet, who see the reality behind the smokescreen of the Zionist “War by Deception”.
There is only one Enemy. Of the human kind.
Alas, we Irish are always the ones who left to take out Europes trash. At times, its a pleasure. https://www.irishtimes.com/news/politics/oireachtas/ireland-becomes-first-eu-country-to-declare-israel-is-involved-in-de-facto-annexation-1.4576250
A situation is developing at the Bab al-Mandeb strait.
Satellite images have revealed the construction of a large runway on the island of Perim, also called Mayyun in Arabic, in the Bab al-Mandeb strait. Three large hangars and 1.8kms of runway are under construction on the island, by the Emiratis. The island belongs to Yemen.
Ansarallah is accusing the Emiratis of attempting to build a Airbase on the island, and of acting as a front for the Zionist regime, as the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandeb strait waterway is of vital importance for the Zionist regime.
Ansarallah have warned the Emiratis that missiles will start flying towards Bab al-Mandeb, and towards the UAE, if they do not immediately cease and desist their militarization of the occupied island. They warn that their fingers are on the trigger, and are ready to close off the strait altogether.
The statement from Ansarallah ends by stating that “the Zionist regime could not overcome the Gazans in Palestine, they certainly will not overcome us here.”
The situation at the strait is quite tense right now, and a single spark could ignite the whole region
I suggest those that do not understand Nasrallah’s very clear red line, should read this in full.
From Here On, Palestine Calls the Shots
A short excerpt: “The ‘Sword of Jerusalem’ has irreversibly weakened Israel, not just on the home front, but the world over too. Overnight, Israel’s universal image went from its traditional ‘victim State’, straight to ‘Apartheid state’. Now, in the minds of the majority of the world, Israel is believed to be an Apartheid state. And in this new Apartheid definition of Israel, the so-called holocaust violin and begging bowl are nowhere to be found. The world is no longer interested in considering the sentimental holocaust when it comes to Israel. All the world can see now are the numerous and unconscionable Crimes Against Humanity that Israel has wantonly engaged in against the Palestinians – numerous crimes that israel has committed without a single instance of accountability. The world is no longer prepared to remain silent on this, or to accept the status of Israel as eternal victim.
So very much has been shattered within the Zionist machinery by the ‘Sword of Jerusalem’. And there are no spare parts to be found anywhere to replace them. Not even a false flag operation by Israel will return it to the victim chair. The whole gaggle and cackle of Jewish deceptions are by now also known and exposed to global populations. What in the past used to work in favor of Israel, is no longer working. The apple has lost its shine.”

Only a regional war? It may very well become a world war……
The Yemenis have dealt the Saudi coalition a major blow in a massive operation in Jizan.
Multiple Saudi military bases were struck. Over 80 Saudi officers and Sudanese mercenaries have been killed and injured. Many died falling from rocks and cliffs as they were running away. Their bodies still litter the valleys and the plains where they fell.
The numerous military sites which were deserted by the enemy have been captured by the Yemeni armed forces. Among the dozens of hostages, there are many Saudis.
The bases were manned by Saudi officers, Sudanese mercenaries, and the militia known as the “Commando Brigade.”
Much arms were left behind by the coalition forces in their hasty departure. The arms have been captured, and the bases themselves are now occupied by the Yemeni army.
The Yemenis have destroyed 29 coalition armored vehicles. Numerous armored personnel carriers were targeted as the Saudis attempted to escape in them.
More details of the operation will be officially announced shortly.
Meanwhile, last night two Yemeni Qasef-2K combat drones have struck King Khalid Airbase in Khamis Mushait, in Saudi Arabia. The Yemenis report that the targets were quite sensitive in nature, and they were successfully eliminated.
What the Palestinians have achieved from this war is deterrence.
Since its inception, the Zionist regime has been trying to achieve a state of tactical deterrence over its neighbors, and the Palestinians, through a massive military-technological superiority, using the US as a lever, their control of the media and psychological warfare, etc., which they hoped would suffice to stop anyone from daring to attack them.
Instead, the Palestinians have achieved that now, through this war which has been dubbed the Sword of Qods (Jerusalem).
The Sword now protects Jerusalem.
General Qaani, head of the Qods Force, made a speech yesterday, in which he beckoned the Gazans to start thinking outside of Gaza, bigger than Gaza, and to take responsibility for all of Palestine and start making decisions in the context of all of Palestine. The General expressed his belief that the Zionist regime is on its way out, and that the Palestinian Resistance ought to start thinking of themselves as sovereigns over their land, and act as such, because the day is approaching fast, when they will be called upon to govern all of Palestine.
The General stated the number of missiles launched from Gaza as “over 3000”, and claimed that the last targets which were struck before the ceasefire were the most sensitive, and were struck with the most massive missiles used in the conflict, as a special message to the Zionist regime. General Qaani assured that the Zionists received the message.
The General also claimed that, “In the first 3 days of this war we launched more missiles at the Zionist state than in the whole of the 22 day war”, and reminded that it was Qassem Soleimani who put these missiles in the empty hands of the Palestinian Resistance. And last but not least, the General cryptically implied in his speech that the Palestinians are producing their own missiles in Gaza now.
In any case, the Zionist regime knows now that if it makes the smallest mistake, the Sword of Jerusalem will rise again to punish them.
The Washington Post is reporting that US forces are worried about ongoing PMU drone attacks on US bases in Iraq.
US forces in Iraq say that the Iraqis have switched from rockets to drones, which is causing some headaches for them. The drones are small, but heavily armed, and they fly under the radar, and air defenses have been unable to intercept them, according to the Americans.
The evolving Iraqi drone threat is a major worry for US armed forces in Iraq, according to the US official who spoke to the Washington Post.
In April, a CIA hangar in the North of Erbil was struck by a drone. The attack was very sensitive in nature, and it almost elicited a full-scale response by the US, which in the end decided not to escalate the situation.
But in Yemen, in the seventh year of the war, Sanaa has just demonstrated that it controls the direction of the war, and that the Saudi armed forces are completely useless.
Fazl Abu Taleb of the Ansarallah has issued a statement demanding that the Saudi coalition immediately withdraw its forces from all Yemeni territory, or more Saudi territory will be occupied.
The operation carried out by the Yemenis in the Saudi province of Jizan has been a very painful strike at the Saudis. The most painful strike by the Resistance so far.
The Saudi forces, armed to the teeth, fled from Yemeni resistance fighters armed just with Kalashnikov rifles and hand grade.
Some have called the Saudi army a paper tiger. After their display in Jizan, I would say they aren’t even that. Their forces are in such a remakable state of disarray, that Sanaa can do whatever it wants to them.
Forty Saudi military bases in Jizan have been captured by the resistance. The last base to be captured directly overlooks the Saudi city of al-Khobe. The timing of this operation was made to coincide with a US peace proposal, wherein the US has been making haughty demands. The message to the Americans and Saudis is that they should realize that they do not negotiate or make demands from a position of power. It is rather Sanaa’s demands which must be met. The Resistance knows how desperate the Saudis are for peace.
This incursion at the Saudi border, which amounts to nothing less than an invasion and occupation of Saudi territory, has reportedly scared the crown prince witless. He is also very paranoid about a coup against him right now.
The Resistance is now overlooking Saudi cities, and the war can be dragged into the cities if the Saudis wish. The Yemenis have made it crystal clear with this major offensive operation, that it is they who are calling the shots in the war, and the Saudis are not even capable of putting up a defense. All they could do was to run away.
The Resistance message to the Saudis is to “either surrender, or jump and commit suicide, like your troops who jumped to their deaths from the cliffs in Jizan while they were trying to run away.”
The Saudis, faced with the Resistance, have climbed a tree. The only way down the tree for the Saudis now is via the Resistance’s ladder, or to jump to their death.

Mod: Assuming that this comment was previously rejected due to the extremely long link, and the potential formatting problems that may result, I took the liberty of converting the link to a TinyURL. Hope this helps…
— this is a clip that the Yemenis have published of Saudi coalition troops’ hasty escape via the impassable rocks and cliffs. Many of them can clearly be seen falling from the cliffs.
Meanwhile, all that I can find in the MSM about the operation in Jizan, is a Reuters article:
https://www.reuters.com/world/middle-east/yemens-houthis-say-they-have-attacked-saudi-border-frontline-2021-05-29/ — “Yemen’s Houthis ‘fabricated’ attack on Saudi border, says coalition spox”
Fabricated? The footage of Saudi troops falling off the cliffs is fabricated? Perhaps it is the Yemenis themselves jumping off the cliffs, or perhaps they’ve hired stuntmen to do it.
The first time I posted the link to the clip here, the mod rejected it. Now I am posting it again because I assume there are people on this site who may be interested in knowing the Resistance’ side of the story, and are not content with the absolute lack of any MSM reporting on what the Resistance is up to, except their lies, or their asinine denials like the one published by Reuters.
I was surprised by the mod’s decision. If the mod feels there is some reason why this comment should be rejected again, I am very curious to know what it is.
Thank you, Mod.

The Resistance will continue its advance into Saudi territory, until the Saudis and their friends lift the siege on Yemen.
Hamas has issued a statement calling for Palestinians all across the West Bank to stage a revolt next Friday, to close off roads and confront Zionist settlers, in what they are calling another Day of Wrath.
Since last Thursday, Zionist settlers have started attacking Palestinians praying inside the al-Aqsa mosque, under the protection of the Zionist security forces.
This morning 32 Palestinians were arrested by Zionist security forces, in the West Bank, Jerusalem, and the occupied territories, in extensive sweeping raids.
In Yemen, on the Marib front, the Resistance is reporting that they are within view of the city now, and the fighting continues. On Sunday, the coalition carried out 24 airstrikes against Marib. Saudi, Emirati, and seemingly Zionist and US fighter jets are taking part in the strikes, and even small targets are being massively struck.
The intensity and scale of the strikes and the chaos is so severe that some of Hadi’s men were accidentally targeted by coalition airstrikes and many were killed. The coalition ought to be using combat helicopters for these strikes, but because they are scared of getting shot down, they use jet fighters instead. The jet fighters do not leave the skies over Marib for even a moment.
Fighting has intensified around Marib, after a peaceful few days in honor of the Eid al-Fitr, and Sanaa troops are now inching their way towards the city, with the city lights reportedly in view.
The Americans admit that it is just the intense airstrikes which are keeping Marib from falling to the Resistance now, as coalition troop morale is practically non-existent.
Negotiations are taking place in Muscat right now. Martin Griffiths, the British diplomat who is currently serving as the United Nations Special Envoy for Yemen at the Office of the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General for Yemen, met with Abdul Malek Houthi in Sanaa earlier. The Resistance expects to see white smoke rising from Muscat soon.
The Resistance believes that these are the final days of the war in Yemen, which we are witnessing. Muscat’s positive and constructive role in bringing about this peace will not be forgotten by Yemen.
