Though the US hasn’t done it totally.”The US has so far lifted only “secondary sanctions” against Iran, which means American citizens are still banned from trading with Iran, the US Department of Treasury said. In addition, while some 400 Iranian companies and individuals are to be removed from the US sanction list, 200 others remain blacklisted.”
They have machine guns on those boats and did not surrender until one of the big Iranian boats showed up 40 minutes later. Yea they are macho when facing others with AK47’s and they have power full weapons.. Not so macho when others also bring in their big guns. After that the only reason they are allowed to leave is because Iran completes its nuclear deal tomorrow.
Iran returned the U.S. soldiers safe & sound within 24 hours in the same week they poured cement into a nuclear reactor giving up their right due to pressure from the same U.S.
US killed over 2 million Iraqis during 9 years of brutal occupation, that don’t include the almost 2 mil who died in a decade of sanctions with over 500,000 kids. But the price was worth it to get IS to destroy 2 of the oldest civilizations in the world.. So US culture of anal sex could supplant those old fashioned family values.. What happened to Afghanistan is beyond redemption.
Those numbers are crazy off. At most 1 million died under the occupation of Iraq. As for the sanctions 500,000 is too high, hard number is unknown but somewhere between 100,000 and 300,000 died.
When talking about atrocities its best to not over-exaggerate and lose credibility.
So your numbers are somehow supposed to be an improvement? I believe it was human rights groups that gave the 500,000 figure first. But frankly I don’t see how 300,000 instead of 500,000 makes me feel more warm and fuzzy towards the US crime. And the same goes for 1 million instead of 2 million.
“The death of one man is a tragedy. The death of millions is a statistic”

The blood on the HegeCons’ hands is deep into the millions. In millions at least 2 figures if not 3 for direct and indirect killings. Certainly giving Uncle Joe a run for his money.
How does 100,000 starved to death white US children grab you? That is not exagerrated either and therefore more ‘realistic’ right?
The problem with most Americans and other westerners is a callous and demonic disregard for the humanity of those they regard as inferior sub-humans, and the reason why the deaths of 300,000 sub-human Syrians is casually disregarded as just ‘collateral damage’, because the ‘civilised’ US must pursue Syrian ‘regime change’ and ‘democracy’ for the sake of, what else, humanity’s sake! I hope to live long enough to see Albright, the Clintons, Bush and Obama hang for their crimes against humanity.
BTW, that old bag Madeline Albright ( not her real last name, she is an eastern European Zionist) , Sec of State said half a million dead Iraqi children ” was a price well worth it ” to Mrs. Sawyers during that infamous interview….google or youtube it. Evil knows no limits, especially of the Zionist variety.
Na, na, not that much fm the big starsprinkledflaggers.
The pressure came from the 5+1 wherein Russia was also.
Iran has thousands of 1000, 2000 km range missiles and announced to build up a 5k one, shortly after the deal.
Thanks for showing the humanity of Iranians when a member of the empire which would kill Iran if it could falls into their hands. The American captain looks relieved, even happy at his good luck; maybe he knows what his fate would be at the hands of less civil enemies.
What a different world it would be if we could admit our mistakes, thank our foes and be treated with respect. Jesus said love your enemies.
The problem is we live in a war culture where too many know nothing but war from their conception and birth, and end up interpreting war as love. Incidents like this show that there is hope. We change culture one thought at a time, one act at a time and one vineyard at a time.
When a south Korean landed in Australia after he ran out of gas, the police locked him up in jail and took him a while to sort that out and here you have 2 heavily armed boats.. I bet it would be far worse if someone was caught in the US like that. If a Cuban gun boat was caught in the US they would be in jail for decades. Actually both indian and Pakistani’s get like 20 years if caught in each others waters.. Just like north and south Koreans are also jailed.
To be caught in highly restricted area and not be shot or jailed for life.. Well these soldiers had more luck than the nun the US jailed for a decade for trespassing on government property in protest..
I agree the Iranians aren’t bad people we in the West need to understand that the MSM makes you believe there evil but they’re not i recently watched the Anthony Bourdain show on CNN where he Travels to Iran and he even said they (Iranians) were the nicest people he has ever met the country was beautiful by the way.
The bold guy looks like an israeli soldier….even the lady does not look native american…the bold guy has the sight, the look alike and the manners of an israely or jew soldier…maybe he is?
Semite probably, but most likely an Iraqi or other Arab interpreter is more likely as any Israeli in a US boat would have been protected like a Torah roll and never allowed to be put in harm’s way.
I was thinking the same thing. Doesn’t really look like a Yank. More “clean-cut” than the typical Yank these days.
But I know I am dealing in stereotypes . . .

The US is a diverse place, so many people with very mixed backgrounds not sure how someone can look ‘native american’, unless you are talking about North American aborigines.
An article in the NYT stated that 10% of those that work on Wall Street meet the clinical definition of psychopaths and discussion followed that the data to support that was not available.
“An opinion essay on May 13 about ethics and capitalism misstated the findings of a 2010 study on psychopathy in corporations. The study found that 4 percent of a sample of 203 corporate professionals met a clinical threshold for being described as psychopaths, not that 10 percent of people who work on Wall Street are clinical psychopaths….”
“As things stand, we do not know the prevalence of psychopathy among those who work on Wall Street. It may be even higher than 10%, on the assumption that psychopathic entrepreneurs and risk-takers tend to gravitate toward financial watering-holes, particularly those that are enormously lucrative and poorly regulated. Well, such studies are unnecessary; I think everyone here knows that 100% of Wall Street slickers are psychopaths. (ha-ha!)
That Laura Knight (pole) in France who runs the site co-authored a book 2007 on this.
The original manuscript of this book went into the furnace minutes before a secret police raid in Communist Poland. The second copy, painfully reassembled by scientists working under impossible conditions of violence and repression, was sent via courier to the Vatican. Its receipt was never acknowledged – the manuscript and all valuable data lost. In 1984, the third and final copy was written from memory by the last survivor of the original researchers: Andrew Lobaczewski. Zbigniew Brzezinski blocked its publication. After half a century of suppression, this book is finally available. Political Ponerology is shocking in its clinically spare descriptions of the true nature of evil. It is poignant in its more literary passages revealing the immense suffering experienced by the researchers contaminated or destroyed by the disease they were studying. Political Ponerology is a study of the founders and supporters of oppressive political regimes.
I concur. This book is a real eye-opener, and contributes immensely to an understanding of political sociopathy, how it operates and why some people choose to submit to it.
A different, but no less informative book is “The Authoritarians,” by psychologist Bob Altemeyer, which deals more with the type of individual who craves submission to authority, such as US Republicans, and religious types, (usually members of the same set of persons.) The book can be downloaded for free from — http://members.shaw.ca/jeanaltemeyer/drbob/TheAuthoritarians.pdf
I did not know that Laura Knight-Jadczyck had died.
I reached her site about Ponerology long time ago, when I was looking, because I really needed at that time, for understanding on evil human behavior.
That was almost a decade ago.
By that time, they, she and her partner and a few researchers on their project, were living in the South of France, in a place with a lot of teluric energy, in the area of Gers. I was thinking about to visit them.
Sorry to hear that she is not between us any more, but probably in a better place and perhaps can help us better.
In case someone is interested this is the web I reached almost a decade ago.
It has a lot of information, almost infinite, as the series “The Wave” that, unfortunately, I have never had the time to read.
“(….)the third and final copy was written from memory by the last survivor of the original researchers: Andrew Lobaczewski.”
Just misunderstood these words posted by the Anonymous commenter above, not paying attention to the date before them.
Glad to hear about Laura, alive and doing well.
Do you know if they continue living in Gers? I live very near there, in Spain.
Curiously, or not so, I was considering travelling to that area this Christmas holidays and finally other unpleasant issues discouraged me of travelling there or anywhere else.
Perhaps I must reconsider making them a visit in a not too distant future, I really need that esoteric retirement soon and besides I have some interesting things happening to me to tell them.
Could you provide any way to contact them?
No, I don’t know if or how you can visit them. They’re somewhere in southern France. As far as I know, they are reluctant to meet people they do not know or are not recommended by someone they know and trust.
While we may never know the real story. There seems to be several holes in this one. First the US said they had “engine trouble” and “drifted” into Iranian waters. If you were working on your engine trouble it would seem to me you would stop your boat and anchor. If you were anchored, how would you “drift” into Iranian waters. Second they were coming from Kuwait to Bahrain, both on the South side of the Gulf. If you were going to go into anyone else’s waters from there. I would think it would be Saudi Arabian waters. Third, there were two boats. Were “both” of them without communication equipment. That route isn’t a huge distance apart. And there are many US Naval ships around it (as well as Saudi,Kuwaiti, etc) . Radioing for help would have provided “plenty” of it pretty quickly. Fourth, the area they “drifted” into is said to be a secret Iranian military complex area. How “convenient” that they “drifted” into there instead of say a Gulf fishing boat area.Fifth, today the US is saying it wasn’t “engine” problems after all. But was a “navigation error”. Even though we just heard the ship’s captain say it was engine trouble. They should get their stories together,”which is it”. Sixth,if the “new” story is true. Then again,it would appear a “navigation error” would be more likely to put them into Saudi waters. I would venture a guess that this was a spying mission that got detected by the Iranians. Those type of boats are said to be used a lot for “inserting” and “extracting” agents that are spying. I’d like to know the backgrounds on the 10 crew members. Were they all regular Navy sailors? And was that the entire bunch. Or,if they were inserting or extracting agents, are there more US personal on Iranian territory. As I said ,we may never know the truth about this story. But it certainly seems “fishy” to me.
Also they being sailors and all, have never heard of towing a disabled boat. I think there are over 10,000 fishing boats in the area. Maybe they thought they could slip through as a fishing boat..
Those boats although small compared to naval ships are not all that small, many of those fishing boats are the same size only taller to handle the rough seas. I would not get into the water around there for a swim.. Its open toilets..
And the number one tourists attractions who go for sunbathing and pristine waters.. ROFL!!!! I was always afraid of falling off the boats when crossing islands because of what might be found in the water.. The swimming pools of holiday inn are far more sanitary. And don’t eat the FISH… the fish eats whats in the water.. Not quite like the martian growing potato’s to eat…
Could it be they were ordered to be caught to incite on cue a negative US domestic reaction? Or maybe it was to test the Iranian naval one? It definitely was fishy.
Sure they look terrified. These are mostly simple country-boys who have been taught that Iran is a primitive country, populated by some brutal, sub-human creatures, which must be oppressed by the superior US empire.
I agree there. They were probably thinking the Iranians were like ISIS (same initial and all). And afraid of a head-chopping coming their way. Never underestimate the lack of knowledge about foreign countries among most US citizens. As an example, most Americans “know” that Russia is a Communist country today. And Putin a “commie dictator”.I kid you not there.
probably they droped something or someone in water near isle. we know they are soldiers (& americans) but i doubt they are so stupid to make such mistake. rather i think they are smart and they were on some “mission”. only possible way to leave restricted military area safe after incursion is to be captured and later released.
I just have one comment on your first argument. It is quite possible that, if a boat had an engine breakdown, it did so in waters too deep to anchor in. Most small vessels do not have anchor chains longer than five boat lengths, and an anchor does not work well if the boat cannot drop that anchor a minimum of three boat lengths away. This is because it is not the weight of the anchor which holds the vessel. It is the way that backing away from (or drifting away from) the anchor causes the anchor to hook into the seabed.
However, if there were two boats involved, it would have been just five minutes work for the disabled boat to be secured to the other boat and thus be towed out of Iranian waters. I think this second point should be added to those you made in your excellent comment.
From Russia Insider: The Russians have had an ebola lab sine the 1990’s and have been researching this . I don’t suppose they will be selling this medicine at $700 a pill either
Bad news: one of the foremost enemies of Novorussia and Russian nationalism, Kremlin insider Vladislav Surkov, will be meeting with Victoria Nuland in Kaliningrad for secret talks on the Novorussia and Crimea. Every time Surkov becomes involved in an issue, Novorussia and ethnic Russians lose.
Overenthusiastic patriots on both sides have used this minor incident as an excuse for absurdly exaggerated outrage/gloating. Since the sailors were released within less than 12 hours, it’s hard to escape the conclusion that the people who should *really* be upset by these cordial, practical American-Iranian relations are the Saudis, who should be terrified.
This seems to me to be a bad news story for Erdogan and Turkey. Compare and contrast with the downing of the RF plane alleged to have strayed into Turkish airspace. Now, it may be currently impossible for the Iranians to respond to a provocative incursion by blasting two small boats out of the water but they assuredly could have prolonged the stay of their accidental tourists were they minded so to do, to the inconvenience of the US government.
My guess is that Uncle Sam is telling the Sultan of Skim “You’re on your own in any further adventures “
Any military (or post-) people there? I was told that these guys are in deep trouble for admitting they made a mistake. And that this is the end of their military career. According to US military codes they are NEVER to admit they made a mistake and apologize. So, my question is, if they know this and still apologized,… why?
Iran did well in this encounter and the psycological value of that photo is priceless.
It also sends a loud and clear message to Israel, and those fools in the Gulf that any confrontation with Iran will not be a cakewalk- there will be hell to pay.
The IRGC made by day with that show of force and assertiveness.
l’am looking foward to China doing something similar soon, given the many flagrant provocations undertaken by the US in the South China Seas recently.
But if my memory serves me right, didnt they force down a US spy plane in 2001 and had it scuttled and returned to the Americans in pieces???
Interesting to consider the consequences of two alleged incursions, a dubious one into Turkish airspace by a Russian bomber, if it occurred at all it was a matter of seconds, and the other, an American incursion more than 50 miles into Iranian waters.
American hawks who cheered the shoot down of the Russian bomber have been big fat hypocrites in their treatment of the Iranian incident.
Hypocrisy, double standard and double speak have long been their stock and trade.
That is why we get a selective application of international law – as Putin often points out – from them.
“The US Embassy in Indonesia will remain closed for the remainder of Friday one day after a series of explosions hit the island republic’s capital, the US Embassy said, while the Russian diplomatic mission will remain open.”
Is the U.S. Embassy closed to reduce the chances of people seeing something there? Like terrorists?
“The Government Accountability Office has found that due to severe flaws in the auditing selection process, the Internal Revenue Service is free to target Americans based on their political views or religion.”
“A UN-backed agreement for the reconstruction of Gaza has come under fire by a legal expert who argues that the United Nations is in violation of international law, and may even be indirectly providing the Israeli government with a list of Palestinian targets.
In 2014, Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip killed over 2,200 Palestinians and destroyed or damaged more than 170,000 homes, according to UN figures. Following a ceasefire, the United Nations Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process (UNSCO) helped negotiate the Gaza Reconstruction Mechanism (GRM).
White points out that the mechanism is written in such a way that it heavily favors the Israeli government, allowing it to dictate the purchase and transport of building supplies.
“As a treaty or, indeed, as an international agreement subject to international law, the GRM is an unbalanced exchange of ‘rights’ and ‘duties,’ with the PA and the UN having a number of duties, while the Government of Israel has a number of very wide rights and very few obligations,” the brief reads.
Given that there is a strong “connection between the GRM and actual and potential violations of core human rights” White suggests that the UN is thereby “implicated in any wrongful acts.”
The terms of the GRM also includes a database with personal details of Palestinians living in Gaza. White argues that this violates the “right to life,” as it offers “potential misuse of the database by the Government of Israel for the identification of targets.”
Under what Circumstances was this interview held? The answer from the captain sounded to good to be tru. The iranian treatment was “fantastic”.
I belive the treatment was OK, but the value of statements from prisoners is difficut to judge.
One question, one statement of doubt, one quote, one prejudiced value-judgement answer with no relation to the question. Very good. Perhaps you could explain how you arrived at your conclusion ?
I doubt it wasn’t totally true. The soldiers were overjoyed that they weren’t going to a firing squad (or worse). Which they probably worried about when captured at first. The captain smiling like that was using an old tactic. If the “enemy” see’s you are not hostile, they are less likely to just kill you outright.A reason that soldiers are told to remove their helmets when surrendering. It makes you look more “human” to other men. And they might not just shoot you. Also never to turn your back. It’s harder to just shoot somebody looking at them. While with your back turned they don’t have to see you looking at them when they kill you. They can imagine you as less a fellow man. A few tricks of surrender used to minimize danger to the one surrendering.
The US captain was apologetic, respectful, like most Americans would be in this situation. It’s the American “leaders” in government who are just the opposite, because they are following the war monger agenda. The American people tend to be okay, the “leaders” are evil, corrupt, criminals.
Iran hasn’t Attacked another country in 500+ Years but the United Snakes of America wants to call them Evil Supporters of Terrorism what a fucking Joke Iran has always been a peaceful country with a Ancient Civilization it’s sad that America and Iran don’t have relationship Ties because of the Zionist Jews who run American Foreign Policy also known as the CFR! I hope 1 day America and Iran can become “Friends” I would Love to visit Iran it’s a beautiful Ancient country.

I have a bigger gun.
Don’t forget the US moved its aircraft carrier closer to Iranian waters in response to this..
So a bully is always a bully no matter what.
And Iranians are saying they have just locked their missiles on the aircraft carrier.
The carriers have become simply very large floating coffins with the advent of modern cruise missle systems. But they are great for the MIC.
Just a show by the US&Iranian elite to give some good TV airtime of the benefits of the deal.
Iraq killed 4,491 U.S soldiers during 9 years of brutal occupation (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iraq_War)

The usual story you try to sell, when you fall in the net.,
Could it be they were ordered to be caught to incite on cue a negative US domestic reaction?
Hello Uncle Bob 1
Thanks,I agree with you. The point on the towing, gives the US story even less credibility than it had to begin with.

They also forced down an advanced US stealth drone and sold it to china.
The American soldiers are grinning as usual. These morons don’t seem to understand that what goes around comes around, eventually.
US Closes Jakarta Embassy After Blasts, Russian Mission to Remain Open

“The US Embassy in Indonesia will remain closed for the remainder of Friday one day after a series of explosions hit the island republic’s capital, the US Embassy said, while the Russian diplomatic mission will remain open.”
Is the U.S. Embassy closed to reduce the chances of people seeing something there? Like terrorists?

Gaza Peace Agreement May Provide Israel With List of Palestinian Targets
Read more: http://sputniknews.com/middleeast/20160115/1033157076/un-gaza-reconstruction-mechanism.html
That latter is the sort of thing zionazia does.
Thanks for those tips Uncle Bob
The US captain was apologetic, respectful, like most Americans would be in this situation. It’s the American “leaders” in government who are just the opposite, because they are following the war monger agenda. The American people tend to be okay, the “leaders” are evil, corrupt, criminals.
