Henry Kissinger, 97, Henry the K. for those he keeps close, is either a Delphic oracle-style strategic thinker or a certified war criminal for those kept not so close.
He now seems to have been taking time off his usual Divide and Rule stock in trade – advising the combo behind POTUS, a.k.a. Crash Test Dummy – to emit some realpolitik pearls of wisdom.
At a recent forum in Arizona, referring to the festering, larger than life Sino-American clash, Henry the K. said, “It’s the biggest problem for America; it’s the biggest problem for the world. Because if we can’t solve that, then the risk is that all over the world a kind of cold war will develop between China and the United States.”
In realpolitik terms, this “kind of Cold War” is already on; across the Beltway, China is unanimously regarded as the premier US national security threat.
Kissinger added US policy toward China must be a mix of stressing US “principles” to demand China’s respect and dialogue to find areas of cooperation: “I’m not saying that diplomacy will always lead to beneficial results…This is the complex task we have… Nobody has succeeded in doing it completely.”
Henry the K. actually must have lost the – diplomatic – plot. What Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov are now involved in, full time, is to demonstrate – mostly to the Global South – how the American-enforced “rules-based international order” has absolutely nothing to do with international law and the respect of national sovereignty.
At first I had archived these Henry the K. platitudes out of sight. But then someone who used to hold a stellar position at the top of the US Deep State showed he had been paying close attention.
This personality – let’s call him Mr. S. – has been one of my invaluable, trustworthy sources since the early 2000s. Mutual confidence was always key. I asked him if I could publish selected passages of his analysis, not naming names. Consent was given – ruefully. So fasten your seat belts.
Dancin’ with Mr. S.
Mr. S., in a quite intriguing fashion, seems to be expressing the collective views of a number of extremely qualified people. Right from the start, he points out how Henry the K.’s observations explain today’s Russia-China-Iran triangle.
The first point that we make is that it was not Kissinger who created policy for Nixon, but the Deep State. Kissinger was just a messenger boy. In the 1972 situation the Deep State wanted to get out of Vietnam, which policy was put in place as containment of communist China and Russia. We were there based on the domino theory.
He goes on:
The Deep State wanted to achieve a number of objectives in approaching Chairman Mao, who was antagonized by Russia. It wanted to ally in 1972 with China against Russia. That made Vietnam meaningless, for China would become the containing party of Russia and Vietnam no longer meant anything. We wanted to balance China against Russia. Now, China was not a major power in 1972 but it could drain Russia, forcing it to place 400,000 troops on their border. And our Deep State policy worked. We in the Deep State had thought it through, and not Kissinger. 400,000 troops on the Chinese border was a drain on their budget, as later Afghanistan became with over 100,000 troops, and the Warsaw Pact had another 600,000 troops.
And that brings us into Afghanistan:
The Deep State wanted to start a Vietnam for Russia in Afghanistan in 1979. I was among those against it, as this would needlessly use the Afghani people as cannon fodder and that was unfair. I was overruled. Here Brzezinski was playing Kissinger; another overrated nothing who just carried messages.
The Deep State also decided to crash the oil price, as that would economically weaken Russia. And that worked in 1985, driving the price to eight dollars a barrel, which ate up half the Russian budget. Then, we basically gave permission for Saddam Hussein to invade Kuwait as a ploy to send in our advanced army to knock him out and demonstrate our superiority to the world in weaponry, which very much demoralized the Russians and put the fear of God into Islamic oil. Then we created the Star Wars fiction. Russia to our surprise lost their nerve and collapsed.
Mr. S. defines all of the above as “wonderful” in his opinion, as “communism went out and Christianity came in”:
We then wanted to welcome Russia into the community of Christian nations, but the Deep State wanted to dismember them. That was stupid, as they would balance against China at least from their Mackinder point of view. It was naive on my part to hope to a return of Christianity, as the West was moving rapidly toward total moral disintegration.
In the meantime, our ally China continues to grow as we were not finished with the dismemberment of Russia and the advisors we sent to Russia destroyed the whole economy in the 1990s against my objections. The 78-day Belgrade bombing finally woke Russia up and they started a massive re-militarization as it was obvious that the intention was in the end to bomb Moscow into the ground. So defensive missiles became essential. Thus, the S-300, S-400, S-500 and soon S-600s.
The Deep State had been warned by me at our meetings on how bombing Belgrade in 1999 would cause Russia to remilitarize and I lost the argument. Belgrade was bombed for 78 days versus the vengeance bombing of Hitler for two days. And China continues to grow.
Why balance of power doesn’t work
And that bring us to a new era – that started in practice with the Chinese announcement of the New Silk Roads in 2013 and Maidan in Kiev in 2014:
China wakes up to all of this in that they begin to realize that they have been just used, and that the US fleet controls their trade routes, and decides to approach Russia in 2014 just about the time of their witnessing the Maidan overthrow of Ukraine. This overthrow was organized by the Deep State when they started to understand that they had lost the arms race, and did not even know what was happening.
The Deep State wanted to draw Russia into a Vietnam again in the Ukraine to drain them and crash the oil price again, which they did. Beijing studied this and saw the light. If Russia is overthrown, the West will control all their natural resources, which they see themselves needing as they grew into a giant economy larger than the US. And Beijing starts to open up a warm relationship with Moscow seeking to obtain land based natural resources as oil and natural gas from Russia to avoid the seas for natural resources as much as they can. In the meantime, Beijing massively accelerates its building of submarines carrying missiles capable of destroying the US fleets.
So where does Kissinger in Arizona fit in?
Now, Kissinger reflects the Deep State angst on the Russia-Chinese relationship and wants this split up for dear life. This is interestingly covered here by Kissinger. He does not want to tell the truth about balance of power realities. He describes them as “our values”, when the US has no values left but anarchy, looting, and burning down hundreds of cities. Biden hopes to buy all these disenfranchised masses as money printing goes wild.
So we are back to Kissinger shocked at the new Russian-Chinese alliance. They must be separated.
Now, I do not agree with the balance of power intriguers in that morality or noble values should govern international relations, and not power. The US has been following balance of power dreams since 1900 and now it faces economic ruin. These ideas do not work. There is no reason the US cannot be a friend of Russia and China and the differences can be worked out. But you cannot get to first base as balance of power considerations dominate everything. That is the tragedy of our time.
Mr. S: “Now, I do not agree with the balance of power intriguers in that morality or noble values should govern international relations, and not power”.
Mr. S and SunTze agree. Sun Tzu wrote that it’s the moral high ground that ultimately decides the outcome of a war.
No balance of power in SunTse analysis. Maybe in diplomacy (i.e. diplomacy from the Chinese viewpoint but not from Clauswitz’s who saw war as “diplomacy by other means”, yes. But not when it comes to war.
Since Pepe didn’t describe who the Deep State is, well then, meet the REAL Deep State.

Thank you for the link.
Doug R.
The other important issue is, why most/many Christians do not accept this fact that jews=pharisees and will not use their real name🤷♂️
i often use biblicism institute for that reason when i argue with “low info/in-denial” people that call themselves Christian.
i also send them to the “jewish”-library, it often end with full cognitive dissonans and me being called anti-semite tho…
Because those poor Christians are so brainwashed by their so-called pastors, many of whom are on the payroll of the Jewish state.
I remember my last pastor (no longer is, Jesus is now) had a fit when I told him that Jews don’t have a right to Palestine after he asked me if they did. I also remember that all his friends were so-called “former Jews”, and he was always encouraging the flock to visit businesses owned by former Jews who are now “Christians”.
You have no idea how infiltrated the protestant/evangelical/non-denominational church is.
I’m also thankful for Biblicism Institute. They’ve opened my eyes.
Doug, thanks for the link.
According to Laurent Guyenot who write a book on the Jews in the Bible, one should always look for a version of the bible where the word “Yahweh” has not been replaced by “the Lord”. He claims it complete changes the paradigm ie to have Yahweh and the Lord as distinct .
And what difference would that make?
IMHO it doesn’t matter because what matters is what you believe in your heart who LORD is. Before dying Jesus cried out, “Lord, Lord, why have you forsaken me?” If Jesus can call Yahweh LORD, I think we can too.
Besides here’s what Yahweh said: Men look on outward appearance, but I look at the heart.
Again what matters is whom you believe in your heart LORD is. Still, I’m of the opinion that if Yahweh is in the original, it should not be replaced in translation; even though there are plenty of instances in bible translation where YAHWEH is kept as is.
Further, I think Laurent should concentrate on eliminating the word Jew from the bible, a word created in 1775 and not found in the bible.
What is in the Bible should be translated as Judahite or Judean. There is no JEW in the original version of the bible, Hebrew and Greek.
Hebrew Words in the Old Testament Bible: 1) Yehuwdah: Jehudah or Judah 2) Yehuwdiy: Jehudite or Judahite.
Greek Words in the New Testament Bible: 1) Iouda: Jehudah or Judah 2) Ioudaios: Jehudite or Judahite, or belonging to Jehudah/Judah.
The word Jew is now understood as being for the converted or the proselytes, not for people from the biblical tribe of Judah who no longer exist.
Hope that helps.
Deep state is England and its agents inside all media and in usa.
Gulf war plotted by witch thatcher, first Iraq war by criminal tony blair- this Syrian war again by english rats which borne their ugly child ISIS.

Cold war against Russia was started for the same reason as cold war against Germany has started. TO keep britain in picture as it gives them a sense of false position, to harass other country and wreck others economy. IN august 1990, the soviets had captured some persons with british passports who were pumping up False notes of Roubles in Russia. IN other words they were british agents who ,by putting illegal tenders were making rouble go down in value and ultimately wrecking Russian economy

“Gulf war plotted by witch thatcher, first Iraq war by criminal tony blair- this Syrian war again by english rats which borne their ugly child ISIS.”
ISIS was not born in Syria, ISIS was born in 2003 in Iraq, by a combination of Bin Laden agents led by Abu Musab al Zarqawi – Ahmad al-Kayleyleh, & a variety of former military intelligence professionals from the Saddam Hussain’s Bathist apparatus, with people like Izzat Ibrahim al-Duri in the background. They were not originally called ISIS but declared the Islamic State of Iraq in 2006, when they could see that the US occupation had been effectively defeated in Iraq, especially in the so-called Sunni triangle. So that was ISI, the US referred to them as Al-Qaeda in Iraq (AQI), a name that they never used for themselves, they called themselves briefly Qaidat wal-jihad al-Rafidayn, meaning The Base of Jihad in the Land of the Two Rivers. ISI fought the US occupation in Iraq, they defeated US forces in the two battles of Fallujah – which puts paid to this claim some people make that the CIA created ISIS, a truly stupid claim. The US obviously worked to co-opt them once they had many of their leaders in captivity in Abu Ghraib & Camp Bucca, they did the same with Moqtada al-Sadr’s Jeish al-Madhi, when they had his no. 2 leader in captivity, Kazahli. The interrogation documentation from Kazahli’s interviews clearly show that the US is trying to get him to commit to work for them, so they did the same with ISI, with varying measures of success. The US assisted in facilitating ISIS take over of Mosul in Iraq, & large swathes of Syria, but they were not a client force in the sense the US commanded them, & the entire time ISIS were very aware the West wanted to instrumentalize them in overthrowing Assad in Syria – it is a very complicated story. Vladimir Putin put it best when he warned the US that supporting jihadists in Iraq & Syria is a fools game, because they (the West) think they can manipulate these groups, but in the end they will find they will be the one’s being manipulated by them, for their agenda, which is very much at odds with the west.
Excellent link! thank you for posting.
@Hoyeru. I share your concerns about what is happening in this world but not your conclusions. To me, God is in charge.
The Bible has some answers and also how all these will end.
As for me, I look forward to the return of Jesus Christ my King.
Clausewitz wrote that war was the continuation of politics by other means, which is of course correct. A paraphrasing of this axiom: ‘diplomacy is the continuation of war by other means’ is sometimes attributed to Henry the K
Yeah, that was the tragedy of WW1 when the militaries of the combatants were allowed to conduct diplomacy as war by other means and then to condcut war as diplomacy by other means once the balance of power, established since 1815 and allegedly held together by Britain after 1870, broke down also allegedly caused by the rise of greater Prussia as united Germany.
Yet if it has the “moral high value” based on the laws of nature, America will be taught a very unpleasant lesson.
There, I fixed it for you.
Blinken recently let this gem slip , “Just because they are allies doesn’t mean they do what we want .”
I suspect that some of the allies are in it for themselves . Take from the US what security they can get while undermining the US position when it suits them , without ruffling too many feathers .
Germany has drawn the ire of the US , weakened its prestige while drifting east economically . Canada too plays this game to maintain its tremendous share of the US market . (Canada looses geopolitically but wins economically ) Gretchen Whitmer has threatens to turn off the tap on line 5 suppling Ontario and Quebec with most of its fossil fuels . Canada has foolishly piggy backed its own critical engery security in central Canada to that of the US .( using its own oil and pipeline companies ) Canada depends on a 1977 treaty with the US to keep the line open which it has or soon will be in a US court defending. The other interesting thing happening in Canada is its cleaning out of its top military brass ( all due to alleged sexual misconduct ) . I suspect the American aligned Canadian generals are being quickly retired , I could be wrong but decades old drunken sexual misconduct aboard a sub is a flimsy reason to fire your top military general athough it plays well in Canada’s press . Then there is Mexico with a sizeable share of the US market but still the drugs and refuges pour though the southern border . The ancient Chinese mandarins played this game with emperor they disliked calling it , death by a thousand cuts .
I find this little confession believable. Power is the primary illusion of the ego bound. When we speak of the American tragedy of power politics dominating since 1900 I think of it as the consequence of the British Empire stealthily reconquering their formerly independent colony. This reconquest is verifiable and the real source of most of the American tragedy. As David Bowie sang; “this is not America.”
The patriarchal drive for ego and power really took off about 5000 years ago with the rise of the Bronze Age with its enhanced capacity for weapons making and masculine sky gods. The Romans fed it to the Brits and they forced it down everyone’s throat with their religion of capitalism.
I see America as sitting astride the cusp of the end of this patriarchal world order and in need of struggle to secure its supersession from that obsolete order into a balanced unity of masculine and feminine principles that transcend an addiction to an egoism of masculine power. This Deep State game is as much Roman and English (along with the Tribe) as it is American. America just suffers the agony of living in the time of the death of an exclusively one-sided patriarchy. In that dying process the Deep State takes over all power and becomes the mythic Death Star. But that is really its own death, the death of the classical patriarchal dream that the man with the most muscle rules the world empire. Egoism of power is patriarchy’s self defining dream. The fantasy is so old and deeply ingrained people think of it as “normal.”
The tragedy of the death of the American patriarchal domination order is not really the death of America at all. Because the real life of America is the shared pursuit of liberation (i.e., Lincoln etc). However the world patriarchal empire desperately needs its slaves to identify America as patriarchal power domination. Accordingly the empire is absolutely determined to control how people identify what is “American.” The tragedy lies in people believing that this is actually America. But divine tragedy on this epic scale is followed by divine comedy which can be found in the smile of the returning feminine principle. It is not for nothing that the American male principle is so toxified and the feminine impulse is rising in counterpoint. America is a death of power egoism and a richer journey to authentic liberation or it is nothing.
“..the British Empire stealthily reconquering their formerly independent colony. This reconquest is verifiable …”
I have had a feeling of that being the case for a while now. Could someone point me to some sources confirming this?
Dimitri Orlov is one good source. He taught me that every time the empire gets kicked out of a locality it does as much damage as it can to that entity and then sets up a counter state as close as possible to that liberated territory. This is a consistent pattern. Taiwan being but one example. Pakistan being another. In the case of the United States Orlov informs us (I believe accurately) that the evil empire had two primary avenues of reconquest of America. One being what he calls “soft culture.” The other being the South. The war between the States was as close as the English and French imperial project got to a direct re-takeover of Washington. Lincoln being murdered by the English spy service for the crime of creating government controlled money rather than leaving it in the hands of private banking interests.
What Orlov calls “Soft culture” has been the real killer of American independence however. Throughout the 19th century the young colony was still searching for its own independent identity. However at the time European, and particularly English, culture was flooding into America and setting the tone for practically every aspect of American culture. Practically all of the American cultural creations during this period were replications of cultural initiatives from Europe. In short – Americans thought in English and in many cases did all they could to emulate the English. This made it enormously easy for the empire to do a slow and steady piece by piece re-establishment of itself in America.
A good source for all of this is the openly declared policies of Cecil Rhodes. How many Rhodes scholars does America have other than President Clinton? Cecil Rhodes set the empire the task of integrating all of the English speaking peoples into one unified political organ. His primary goal was the reintegration of America into the Empire. This was in preparation for an imperial war against a rising Germany.
Rhodes was successful. By 1913 the Wall Street Banking elite was well integrated into the Empire via the Federal reserve system. With American finance and American media now subordinate to the English Empire the great war against Germany could be waged. When planning their stealth takeover of the American financial system the empire knew it needed to control public discussion about that process. So they quietly secured ownership of the New York mass media. Throughout the 20th century the major American media have been disseminating the Empire’s interpretation of American life. The Empire set itself the task of controlling the American mind. They have been spectacularly successful. Luce’s Time – Life series of publications being right up front. The English are very good at this sort of thing. There forte is to claim custody of the interpretation of the American imagination. I remember reading a telling phrase in Time Magazine some time back – “the pockmarked Moonscape of the American mind.” Well Time Magazine had the function all along of destroying the American mind. And then it referred to that mass mind as a “pock marked Moonscape. Mission Accomplished.
The point to be made is that America’s conscious mind is totally colonized. It is not American in any authentic sense of the word. America has no autonomy of consciousness. Accordingly the United States is devoid of autonomous agency. It is now reduced to being a “potential in the unconscious”, where all oppressed energies end up.
Then in 1940 Churchill and his cronies set up the American Intelligence system as a child of their own – The CIA is really an English masterpiece.
There is a host of literature to back this all up. It leaves America with a massive identity crisis and a need to rediscover itself anew through a rejection of a model of itself that is imposed upon it by the British.
Excellent source material can be found in the works of Jim MacGregor and Gerry Docherty – “Prolonging the Agony – How the Anglo-American establishment extended World War One by 3.5 Years.”
Also Joseph Plummer’s “Tragedy and Hope 101” and Nick Kollerstrom’s “How Britain Initiated Both World Wars.”
Why does part of their plan seem to be the replacement of the European peoples in North America, and in Britain itself, with other races from across the globe as manifested by the migrant and (lack of) assimilation policies in both venues? TPTB must feel secure in their position even if they become a vanishing minority in the empire they rule. Or, has the old WASP center of power in the Anglosphere been pre-empted by a Zionist one that the common folks either love passionately or hate fanatically?
Well one good reason is that the third world immigrants tend to force down wages and lower the cost of production. This is a major material driver. It is just good business for the capitalists, short sighted as always with no sense of responsability for the wider culture. Another reason I believe is the Tribe has a determinedly anti-Christian agenda and seeks to break the self confidence of Christian cultures. Encouraging multi racial societies serves their anti Christian agenda whilst making themselves look moral in the process. Clever don’t you think! Another reason is simply the karmic kick back of the legacy of European imperialism. We will move into your country and take it over and lo and behold we have opened our own gates for our victims to find solace in our own lands. What choices do people in latin America really have but to escape the hell holes the empire has turned their countries into.
I think it explains why on the famous kallergy plans, which at the time was possible to read in a non official english translation.
Nowadays it seems to be silently censored and classed as conspiracy theory.
Whether or not conspiracy, hoax or antesemitic, given that what was there written seems to be used as a plan and actully happening all around europe and usa, one thing it is not for sure, theory, as its been put to practice.
(similar could be said from the protocols, but i digress )

I recall vividly the evocative advertising in Playboy magazine in the mid 1970s, with beautiful pictures of Manhattan at night…designed to promote US Tourism with the slogan “America is a Country of the Mind, it is what you make it to be” ….by implication, if you want to have fun and come with the right attitude, the country will reflect the image you create…. It sounded great as a piece of slick advertising but if you psychoanalyse it, the boast is that there is no identity, it’s all smoke and mirrors, so have fun visiting our Hall of Mirrors.
Snow Leopard, as a British expat I agree with every bit of your analysis and have no more to add. Except to confirm what you say about the chief function of Time magazine being to destroy the mind of its readers. Twenty years ago I tried to read a few issues of Time but gave up for that very reason — my mind simply gave up the struggle to find the truth among that weekly avalanche of well written well documented up to date half truths, and to recall the facts that I knew were missing among Time’s vividly presented factoids.
It took weeks for my mind to recover from mental exhaustion.
“Backward rolled sentences till reeled the mind” — Magazine tribute to Henry Luce, editor of Time.
Dr. NG Maroudas: Parallel Lives: On this topic you have in me, a Soul Brother. You are totally spot-on with your words about Time Magazine. I too subscribed already way back in the 1960s…it was well written, even a certain enthusiasm of the writers shone through. i respected it as a historical document and have kept the magazines as a reference library….but then gradually, the more i learnt about the realities of events, i noted the deliberate omissions and twisting of realities to suit a particular editorial line. This also made me stop the subscription a decade ago….same with Newsweek although the decision was made by Newsweek themselves,…who just evaporated.
Also – although less highbrow, the Readers Digest started to deteriorate into American jingoism…and i stopped subscribing for that reason…but now that it is in British hands, it is simple entertainment during idle moments… which is harmless…but i also badly need to de-clutter the brain-fog all this stuff created….
So here we are…
Matthew Ehret and Cynthia Chung at https://canadianpatriot.org are very good.
It seems to me Mr. S’ analysis is rather the opposite of the truth. (Deep State Newspeak?)
In 1953 traitorous Trotskyite “NWO” agents took over the leadership of the Soviet Union [the coups against Stalin & Beria and Marxism-Leninism, which was the reason for the Sino-Soviet split], almost instantly followed by the “NWO” coup against Mosaddegh in Iran.
From 1953 – 1979 Communist China was the only major country not under “NWO” control. The “NWO” then most likely threatened Communist China to open up so that it could be corrupted from within.
But China proved to a large extent incorruptible, and the “NWO” lost control over Iran (Iranian Islamic Socialism, 1979), as well as the partly control they had over the Soviet Union and Russia (Putin’s Russia, 2000).
Depends how one defines The British Empire. I call it the Anglo Zio Capitalist Empire. It rules the rest of Britain (and most of the rest of the world) from its square mile of sovereign territory in Britain’s financial district — City of London. A territory so sovereign that the British Monarch has to beg permission to enter.
The reconquest of America started in the early 1800’s, by trying to control banking and the money supply. Sorry I don’t have precise sources, but they are not hard to find. Search “Henry Jackson” and his tomb inscription, “I killed the bank.” Search some historians of American banking 1800-1836 and you will find it. It’s ironic that the British learned neocolonialism by working on the Americans. You will also find the Brits gnawing away at the US later, such as starting the Panic of 1873, but it’s the early 1800’s where British domination got started.
“In the 1972 situation the Deep State wanted to get out of Vietnam, which policy was put in place as containment of communist China and Russia. We were there based on the domino theory”.
Well, not quite. The word”containment” cannot be used. In the 1950’s the US fought the Korean War and in the 1960’s and 1970’s it fought the Vietnam War. Why ? These two countries presented the US with no danger what so ever. The answer lies in the word “geopolitics”.
In 1904 Halford Mackinder warned the British Government of the importance and dangers of Euro-Asia, which had the capability of becoming the chief political and economic factor in the world, especially if Germany joined a Russian-Chinese economic alliance, as advocated by Bismarck. The Anglo-American bankers had to prevent this, the two world wars being one of the methods used. After the Second World War we had the Korean and Vietnam wars. Why ?
Both Korea and Vietnam have borders with China. The intent was to destabilize China and then use Korea and Vietnam for a US pincer attack against China, placing the country under Western control. With West Germany under US control, this left the Soviet Union, which needed to be broken up, followed by the break up of Russia. Well, the Soviet Union did collapse, but not Russia, the prime target. Worse, the Chinese teamed up with the Russians. Since the US could not win the Vietnam War, Nixon flies to Peking in order to bring China over into the Western camp. The Chinese play along, introducing reforms and opening up China to Western capital and technology, the whole process being controlled. However, the Chinese never turned their back on Russia and it’s natural resources and technology, having no intention of falling for the old divide and conquer tactic. Now the Chinese trade with both the West and Russia, hardly what Kissinger, Nixon and the US elite had in mind.
And Both Russia and China are indeed a “danger” to the US and Anglo-American bankers. Both support the principle of sovereign countries and respect for international law, something Wall Street and Washington DC never had any intention of doing.

I can only add – “O, what a tangle web we weave!”
This lot always reminds me of a Wile E Coyote character from “Roadrunner” cartoons – lots of planning and scheming.. but unfortunately, same results.. crash at the end, usually off the cliff edge! They are at at moment right now where legs are still moving but below is just.. thin air..

In the 1990’s in a certain location the weekly Sam prize for facilitating useful foolery was created based on a character in the Roadrunner cartoon – you win you have to buy blinis with honey or cakes for everybody at the end of the week.
A special Sam prize was awared to all when the princess distributed plain bulkas to the “masses” in Maidan, authenticated on receipt of a suitably distributed plain bulka from Kiev.
We didn’t include the princess in the blini and honey distribution though; not only because the honey would run in transit.
” a certified war criminal”
That is a excellent coinage. It conveys a message more than hundred books written about “Henry the K. “
At the end of your article I could feel your sadness. A sort of hopelessness in the knowledge that even after our relentless savagery and self seeking we would still, remarkably, be forgiven by those kinder and wiser yet we only know how to spit on an extended hand. Balance of power, indeed. When the real answer is just so damn simple.
Harsh reality smashed the US in its face. The Deep State, in the know for certain, comprehends that they shaped the return of Russia to SuperPower. And not just an equal. Putin has made the Russian military superior to the massive US mil.
Underlining the reality that Russia can utterly destroy the US is the strategic partnership of coordination between Russia and China. This completes the unintentional trap the US built for itself.
What this text brings forth is that there are a few in high places within the Deep State who understand that #1 is no longer invincible, if ever, and that diplomacy is the only route out of the trap. No stratagem or sanctions regime or hybrid war will change the dynamic. The Deep State has put a gun to its head, in fact two guns, one on either side of its head—Russia and China.
Kissinger, 97 years old, tired, ignored by the know-it-alls in the Oval Office,Intel Community and State Dept., carries messages from those who have gotten it wrong for decades. Failure never changes doctrine.
Pepe has delivered a very valuable testimony.
Feedback
It is always a pleasure to hear your opinions about the several articles that make up the fabric of this site Larch. It is a privilege to have you on board and I always check the comments section to see if you are present. It does not matter if I agree with you or not, you are always adding a qualitative element.
Just a little feedback to let you know how quiet people like me may feel about your contribution..
@rob2021,
Thank you for the very kind words.
I agree with all the words of Rob2021
@rob2021 Thank for expressing so well what I – another quiet person – feel and think!
@Larchmonter445 Thank you so very much!
Exact same thoughts @rob2021. Besides venerable Larch, I would also like to add other notables like Auslander, Nussiminen, Dr NG, The Serbian Girl and all the rest. They have the ability and the insight to find the needle in the proverbial hay stack. All of them – and I will foremost include the guest authors who contribute here along with off course “our” The Saker himself, bring something very unique, knowledgeable, diverse, erudite, sane and intellectual perspectives – “this” eclectic mix makes the vineyard for what it is – a treasure trove of valuable and insightful thoughts ! It makes my day when I read incisive comments from the said notable contributors.
Pray, keep participating and enrich us more with your wonderful thoughts ladies and gentlemen. Good day and Thanks !
‘What this text brings forth is that there are a few in high places within the Deep State who understand that #1 is no longer invincible,’
Well sad Larch. Abandoning words as valuable as they are both with Pepe and yourself my mind defaults to the visual most ot the time. Presently the US is a prime example where the visual is like a garden of fruit where every plant is bearing some ripe offering. No words are needed so here are a few recent images …

Once again Perfidious Albion is at the root of the problem. “Balance of Power” is a British policy going back to the 1700s and especially applied to Europe: England considered itself as the #2 power, and would always ally with the #3 power to defeat the #1 power on the Continent.
For centuries that “ancient enemy” was France. Once France was reduced after Napoleon was defeated, primarily by Russia and Prussia/(Germany), England had no problem immediately betraying her former allies by teaming up with France to first defeat Russia in the Crimean War and then to take on Germany in WW I.
In 1914, however, England greatly erred by violating its other cardinal rule of European policy: “Never get involved directly in a major land war with your own army; use your great gold supply to pay others to die for you.” The result was a horrendous bloodbath that set Britain on the course of going from the World’s Greatest Empire to a 3rd-rate shithole in less than half a century.
The Balance of Power theory so rightfully disdained by Mr S is a direct result of continual British influence on the US elites, which began almost immediately after the Revolution (Alexander Hamilton and the New England Federalists) and continued openly through the first years of WW II. It’s debatable today which, deep beneath the surface, is the dog and which the tail: Wall Street or the City of London….
Trev N
City of London, my dear. Wall Street is the offshoot.
if you read pepe for any length of time as a reader you come to realize his writings about the rise of eurasia/china/obor as much a celebration of humanities perseverance overcoming daunting obstacles. he has been writing the not so slowly oncoming obituary for western civilization in general and the united states in particular for a few decades.
each installment of his ongoing chronicle fleshes out a bit more detail how humanity got to where it is and point to where its going and why…. both its winners and it eventual losers.
he is a travel writer about time and change. for those of us in the west its our eulogy.
I think you are correct. I wish I could see the end process, but certainly won’t unless I can live to about 100 years old.
Really curious about the identity of Mr. S, not that I would honor him with any awards.
In consideration of these End Times, here is a thought…
The attack plans rest entirely on the assumption that the attackers WILL SURVIVE the counter-attack based on the following:
1) The attackers’ identities and real-time locations are unknown and unknowable.
2) The attackers’ ‘”safety bunker” locations are well hidden.
3) The attackers’ “bunkers” are unassailable.
If these assumptions could be demonstrably proven false, the attackers might, possibly, however unlikely, reconsider their more immediate plans. Realistically, they are most likely insane and evil, in which case they are perfectly willing to suicide the entire planet, rather than face justice for their theft, murder and other crimes against humanity.
Faced with that notion, it is helpful to consider that the coming battle is spiritual, and to prepare accordingly.
4) The infrastructure and equipment in the bunkers will continue to operate for decades and provide for its inhabitants. Yeah, right.
The lucky ones get vaporized before suffering third degree radiation burns. I’d rather be guillotined than sandpapered to death, even better have an Englishman with an axe who knows what he is doing — the only even “good” thing about the British Deep State.
My understanding is that Putin made this quite clear when he discussed openly targeting the decision makers. They are the primary targets. This is most likely why the world hasn’t gone up in flames yet.
https://www.rt.com/news/523625-retired-us-generals-sign-letter-slamming-biden/
Something interesting? Similar to retired french military v Macron?
….”Warning that the US is in “deep peril” from a “full-blown assault on our constitutional rights,” over 120 former top military brass have signed a letter outlining threats to its “survival,” including Biden administration policies. The open letter, published on Monday by a group called ‘Flag Officers 4 America’, questions the result of the 2020 election, President Biden’s “mental and physical condition,” and sounds off on a number of hot-button topics, including China, the Iran nuclear deal, critical race theory, and the border wall….”
To: “JJ”
Not to be off-topic, but based on geo-political experts in Europe, there’s more to the story about the French Generals than meets the eye.
Those experts are looking at the growing anger by the US over Germany’s financial power that is central to the EU. More to the point, the US is not happy with Germany’s expanding trade with China and with Russia’s Nord Stream pipeline.
How does that fit in with the French General’s first statement? It appears, the US is currying favor with both France & Italy. For instance, both nations have lately been receiving more EU money, largely from Germany. This may have been pushed by the US. Conceivably, this could reduce the Financial Powerhouse of Germany.
Rumors go: the US would pit Germany against a kind of French-Italian duo to chasten its dreams of greater EU hegemony.
Lastly, you’ll notice Mario Draghi basically went into Italy and overthrew the Conti govt, thusly reducing Italy’s growing trade deals with China. Example: Draghi & Team, stopped China’s 5G by not allowing the Italian company TIM or TMM from benefiting with China’s growing market in 5Gs.
If this is all true then we could say the American Ship has even more leaks which the crew is feverishly trying to plug. Wouldn’t we all love to be seated incognito in those German chambers to hear what they have planned!
This article is the best analysis that I ever remember reading. The foreign policy of America during the 1900’s can be summed up as “Bail out the British”. Yes they had the empire where the sun never set and they thought they ran the world. When they screwed up things beyond belief they had a big brother who they called on to bail them out. Thus America got dragged into WW1 and WW2 because of the British to bail out the screwed up British foreign policy.
Then the USA replaced the British as the ones who think they rule the world. However there is a big, big difference now. The USA doesn’t have a big brother with a super economy and military that can step in and force a big fix down the throat of the rest of the world. The USA stands naked. Meanwhile the British and Israel stand on the sidelines and laugh their asses off as the USA follows their directions and self-destructs.
Why did the deep state destroy it’s own country both morally and economically? Christianity LoL Surely this must have been thought out when globalization and Financializaton were put into place. Definitely a benefit for China and the relationship the deep state desired to build. Haveing a hard time believing China didn’t see this and play the long game all along. That’s the part of the story that’s left out and needs to be told.
so, who moved all us manufacturing to china and why?
“so, who moved all us manufacturing to china and why?”
In “couldn’t be more wrong” Gordon Chang’s classic comedic work “The Coming Collapse of China” written about 20 years ago, he was convinced that the SOE’s of China were old and inefficient and would be utterly destroyed by Western competition after China’s ascension to the WTO in 2001, causing great unemployment and social unrest within China. Sort of how Eastern Europe was de-industrialized after the USSR dissolved, but without the safety valve of EU membership and mobility to allow migration and depopulation of young people.
That might have been a reasonably prediction for a small socialist economy with outdated plant and equipment, or even a similar large economy with an incompetent or short-sighted government in disarray, but it appears the Chinese government had a pretty good idea of what they wanted for their people and were willing to take just a small share of the profits for a long time to get there. In particular (my observation) they spent much of the foreign exchange generated by exports directly on upgrading plant and machinery, which helped them move up the value chain (the suppliers of machinery provide much of the know-how for free when you are a customer, and even discreetly share what they learn from other customers operations). I assume this was done through the usual sort of tax incentives plus their capital control levers. High quality modern plant produces high quality product.
The other piece of the puzzle was buyers from Walmart etc. (and later Amazon) who assisted and encouraged them in bypassing their original US customers who were now mere middlemen, and thus moving further up the value chain shipping their own products directly to US distribution centers in mass quantity. And, of course, as well as the high end, they actively promoted sales to places that US manufacturers would not have bothered much with such as Pakistan, producing adequate quality at good prices. They used their compatriots in HK and Taiwan, attracting as much as 90% of all outgoing Taiwan investment a decade ago and using HK as their English-speaking front office and design house. Preferential treatment for both, including allowing some juicy tax dodges for Hong Kong companies over the relatively high mainland tax rates.
In my experience in universities in the last 20 plus years the Chinese students were some of the most dedicated, intelligent and single-minded in all the diciplines offered.
As such I find it unsurprising that China is now leading the world in most useful fields of endeavour regardless of any ‘strategies of trade’. Meanwhile the ‘western’ universities have now turned their resources into studying the humanity-isms which seem quite impractical and unappealing to the Asian mind.
For future directions look no further than the dedication and ambition of university students and we all know where the best and most useful are now located.
@BillB: “In particular (my observation) they [the Chinese] spent much of the foreign exchange generated by exports directly on upgrading plant and machinery, which helped them move up the value chain”
Like the Japanese did before them.
“We in the West are committing economic suicide by moving our only advantage (our technology) to the more industrious and more frugal half of the world”. — Paul Valery, French poet and thinker, circa 1945-1950
Terrific job, Pepe Escobar in looking inside America’s “Deep State.”
Now, how do we combine Deep State/Diplomacy with the crucial aspect of the US Hegemony: it’s Financial World.
The fait accompli occurred when the US pivoted away from a productive nation to Neo-liberalism. Under that banner,in the late 80s up through the early 2000s, banking, insurance and real estate power rose exponentially along with small corporations being eaten up by Big Corporations. Twenty-two years later, with off-shoring millions of jobs to China, elsewhere, we have Multi-billionaires making vast profits to the detriment of common citizens.
Where was The Deep State when they started to see the rise of China’s economy to succor the endless need the US Super Wealthy? The Oligarchy pay no taxes and very minimal labor costs.
Rest assured, The Deep State has been paid handsomely during those decades as the Chinese economy continues to grow larger than the US.
It’s the Greed Factor that is making the US falter.
Today, we now see the US Ship crew running around trying to plug up this or that leak, while it strikes out at Russia, parts of Latin America, parts of Asia, and in places like the Ukraine.
Meantime, The Deep State is supposed to right the listing ship, but we think it’s far too late for that.
”What Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov are now involved in, full time, is to demonstrate – mostly to the Global South – how the American-enforced ’rules-based international order’ has absolutely nothing to do with international law and the respect of national sovereignty.”
The Global South has very capable allies as personified by the Foreign Ministers and Heads of State of Russia and China, and the Global South can readily compare them to the degenerates which the West has on offer and what the latter have in store for Humanity. Hence, I would rephrase the above passage a little:
Dace Rockefeller had a huge impact on what policies the “Deep State” pursued. He died in 2017 at 101. A lot of America’s stupid policies come from advisors realizing they could tell Dave the truth and lose their high paying jobs, or tell him what he wanted to hear, keep the money flowing into themselves even if it was bad for the USA. The combination of “Free Trade” and the dollar being the reserve currency doomed the US, However the Rockefeller’s big investments were Oil, Banking, and Pharmaceuticals, so they have done alright. The Covid hoax and the dangerous mRNA vaccines should finish off the US for good.
Kissinger is and has been a Rockefeller employee his entire life. Just might have landed his gig overseeing the city of Krefeld in 1945 on his own merit and because the US Army had no one else. After that he was hired and has never strayed.
Next question is who are the Rockefeller’s, who do they work with or for. I’ve some ideas but not certain.
Kissinger [original name Loeb] and Rockefeller [original name Roggenfeder which means rye straw] are both Ashkenazi mafia, i.e. the robber barons, criminals and charlatans running the Western system.
immensely interesting…why would kissinger change his name from loeb? the loeb family while having a notorious juvenile wing is essentially iron clad?
Kuhn Leob Bank is one of the owners of the US FED.
That may be the connection. You see there where the Rockefellars fit in.
It is part of the chain of shadowy entities that fiddle the US money supply and who are ultimately behind all the world conflict.
http://www.save-a-patriot.org/files/view/whofed.html
ty, i’m aware of the loeb fed connection. as well as the rockefellar, although i wasn’t aware of the name change & appreciate that info. i am however still mystified why the kissinger clan altered theirs, if they were part of the loeb dynasty, what gain did they enjoy by distancing themselves? obviously kissinger worked for the company interests, & those in the beltway & fed would have known the ties so why bother deploying smoke n mirrors?
If there is a link (as it prob is) it is to fool the average person and dolt in the press who may have wonder where this fellow came from, and would have been watching his activities from a different perspective than just seeing him as some academic. He went from a nobody to the 3rd post powerful guy in the US.
If you can fool 99% of the population you have succeeded.
If people had made the connection he was from the banking paternity then a lot of people would have woken up. Even most members of Congress wouldnt have known to this day.
His hatchetman in Wall St was Soros who effected the financial terrorism required who continues to run amok.
He also wanted to hide his Jewish ancestry by the name change which would have made a percentage of the US public wary, particularly in the South.
I found this article about the origins of the extensive Kissinger family. During the 19th century Jews were caused by law to take over a family name. Meyer Löw from the German town of Bad Kissingen was the first Jew to choose the name Kissinger, his full name now being Meyer Löb Kissinger.
Henry Kissinger’s family does not seem to be related to the Solomon Loeb family. Paul Warburg, however, the architect of the Federal Reserve Act, was married to Solomon Loew’s Tochter Nina. I don’t suppose Henry Kissinger would have ended up as a messenger boy for the likes of Mr. S. if he were related to the Loew family of the Kuhn Warburg Schiff Rothschild/Morgan Rockefeller gang? But wasn’t Henry’s wife a Rockefeller aide? There. Aide to aide and gangbankster to gangbankster, right?
https://www.mainpost.de/regional/bad-kissingen/kissinger-kommen-aus-aller-herren-laender-art-3105752
much obliged, thank you.
China never floated its currency, baring its throat to the international debt merchants. It is this resistance that has brought the rage of the usurers, and the drum beats of war!
Five Eyes Australia is currently destroying the Chinese diplomacy, and the Australian economy, with the same talk of ‘defending our values’. Try letting the hawks in the down-under ‘CIA’ to run your trading relationships, welcome to the asylum! Bureaucrats are released occasionally to bang a war drum, as if Australia can join a war to protect Taiwan, a mere 100 miles off the Chinese coast. Welcome to a dark comedy!
I have been reading a little history lately, and I am surprised that Russia joined with the English Perfidious Albion to help create WW1, even with the promise of seizing the remains of the Ottoman empire, especially after Perfidious and the banker Warburg armed Japan in the 1904-5 Russian Japanese war. And then Albion seized the Dreadnoughts being built for Turkey, forcing Turkey to join a German alliance, as another act of betrayal, when the Ottoman’s first choice was to ally with the English. Perfidious, of course, planned to keep the Ottoman empire for itself, which was why the failed Gallipoli campaign was created, to keep Russia in the war, with the Australians and Kiwis as selected cannon fodder.
In hindsight, Bismark’s German/Russian/Chinese alliance would have been a much better gambit for the Tsar??
RicG: “China never floated its currency, baring its throat to the international debt merchants.”
Thanks for that info, because up till now I had thought that “Floating Firm and Free” was a good thing for a nation’s currency. But now you mention it, there was a run on the pound sterling in the 1970s which devalued everything except “the pound in your pocket”. What about the present devaluation of the ruble; does that affect “the ruble in Ivan’s pocket”?
Wow,like flying over London with Peter Pan, except we are flying over planet Earth, through time, with Pepe Pan Escobar.
Fantastic overview.
It isn’t too hard to imagine the Chinese watching Kissinger and Nixon come down the pike and figuring that they could game this deal for a few decades.
Katherine
The excerpts from Mr. S is guileful, with a few plot holes.
Basic fundamental. The balance of power has already been achieved shortly after WW2 and the first Soviet nuclear test. If the hegemony was seriously interested in maintaining this tenuous balance, there would be no Vietnam wars and no Afghanistan wars. The collapse of the Soviet Union basically proved one thing – there can be only ONE (superpower). That is your attitude, then … and now.
1. That text regarding Christianity is rather cloying. Do you really expect anyone who’s deeply entangled in the Deep State (much less near the top echelon) has some sort of moral compass? Really? Seriously? Not pulling my legs? Here’s the odd thing, Western nations is heading towards anything other than Christianity .. perhaps even Satanism, seeing how this popped out of the woodwork in recent times. Therefore, WHY do the so called members of the Deep State just sit there and twiddle their thumbs when their nation’s society heads towards anarchy & ruin? Is there something you’re telling us?
2. The Ukraine play is essentially a stupid strategy. Repeating the same and expecting the same results, do the Deep State view the Russians as stupid? Do they not think in this day and age, the alt/opp media won’t get a whiff of their plots/propaganda and turn perception in favor of Russia/China? Truth is like superfluid helium.
3. Last paragraph, did I understand it correctly? The Mr. S is equating US hegemony as moral and noble, plus he insists that power rules and the US has been doing it wrong after all. What the … ok, never mind that. On the contrary Mr. S, differences cannot be worked out (i.e. non agreement capable) because of one simple reason, the US will have to concede its hegemony and dollar primacy. Do you truly believe Israel will concede the lands it stole from Palestine (and others)?
One more thing, India.
The US mirrors the same strategies it used during the cold war in the hopes of weakening back then Russia but now China. One cannot help but wonder if the flare up between China and India was premeditated to pit them against one another. Certainly the Indian media has been helping by adopting a belligerent view of China, similar to news from the Australian media.
Whether Modi (plus India’s elite) and the general Indian public realizes it or not, they’ve become the new pawns. Of all the irony, the US continue to deny a defensive weapon (with no analog), the Russian S400 series to India with threats of sanctions. Normal healthy logic dictates it would be a great asset to India’s defense in a physical war … in this case, we’re seeing USA Degenerate Logic™ in action.
What the above fundamentally says, the Deep State don’t care if India goes up in flame (from physical conflict or bio-terrorism) as long as China is weakened. The mouth says one thing but the hands are doing different things.
I must say this was a high quality piece, short yet so informative. Not to mention some of the comments also just added another layer of understanding,I’m well fed..
The whole strategy sounds credible at a glance. But if you look at it closely at least parts seem retconned.
The Gulf War happened at a time the Soviet Union was already in an advanced state of disintegration.
Lithuania seceded the Union in 1990 and the Gulf War was in 1991. The moment the Soviets let the Union disintegrate they had lost the plot already. The fact their weapons were considered inferior after the Gulf War might have accelerated the process but I think the tendency was already there. The Soviets already considered themselves to be losing the economical and technological race to the West prior to that otherwise they would not have bothered with Glasnost and Perestroika in the first place.
The oil price collapse theory makes a lot more sense to be honest. Thinking it was all about oil makes everything fall into place much more easily. This includes the Gulf War itself, since the overt justification the US had for getting into it was fears Saddam would try to go for Saudi oil next which would mess up their plans further. Which seems a lot more plausible.
Chinese-Russian natural resource cooperation started much earlier than 2013. The ESPO pipeline is one example. That deal was signed in 2009. I think the milestone which lead to that was actually the settlement of the Russia-China border in 2008. The Kazakhstan-China oil pipeline was agreed upon much earlier in 1997.
Sure, the Power of Siberia natural gas project got accelerated with the sanctions which hindered the construction of the pipelines to Europe. But the conflict on Ukraine was more of an excuse than the real reason for the hindrance. One only has to think about the efforts the US made pushing the Nabucco pipeline to counter Russian natural gas into Europe way before any of that happened. Eventually it was bound to happen and Russia would have to turn East as a consequence regardless.
Iraqi forces entered Kuwait on August 2, 1990. I remember clearly as a teenager watching reports on TV. So the invasion of US and NATO forces followed in Feb 1991. It does look as if the dissolution of the USSR and the Gulf War were coordinated. Iraq invasion of Kuwait must have been in the works well before 1990 probably with Saddam being coached by the Americans who then screwed him over.
During that time the geriatrics who were running the USSR were too busy betraying, carving up their country and setting up the oligarchy that almost killed off Russia. No American Star War hoax was the reason for the dissolution of the USSR. It was the corrupt communist nomenklatura that pulled the plug on behalf of their children who took over. By 1980s and 90s the incompetent were running different aspects of the economy in the USSR. The ideology was more important than the smarts with the youth blinded by the Western pop culture. Something similar we now have in the US where the cadre are merited on how much gay or trans or brown or black they are. In the Ukraine is similar again. However, over there they measure how much Nazi one is.
This is a historic document. Having lived this period of time everything makes most of sense.
Nothing of the above has been new to people following and analyzing the current and recent events.
Makes me wonder if Mr. S is not just a tool for Pepe speculating without sources.
History shows only the policy mavens of Austria-Hungary in 1914 as deluded as those of Foggy Bottom today. We have to hope the outcome is not another century of war.
Great article. Well outlined.
The Deep State, however has always controlled China (as well as other regional devils like North Korea & Cuba as part of a long term racket to justify trillion $ MIC spending to keep the war machine rolling which also benefits their counterparts in EU & UK).
It financed & installed Mao, and got China to have a gripe with USSR in the 1960s after having had it notionally align with it from 1949 to make it appear things were rosy in the red camp to lull Russia into a false sense of security.
After making $160bn (1960s$) out of the Vietnam War by fiat money printing the DS then worried about inflation and the value of the US$ so they wound it down in the early 70s while at the same time got China to change gear into mass manufacturing after lining up Deng to takeover – having the effects of lowering the west’s 1970s-80s inflation and being an engine to make mega-profits off Chinese cheap labor and a large mkt to sell into. They did not realize tho China would gain some independence.
But now they realize they cannot have their cake and eat it too.
China may have woken up to aspects of this but the real gremlin for the US is the EU-China relationship.
Those silk roads are mainly aimed at supplying the EU. But the EU’s ability to pay for China’s goods is partially dependent on it having their running dog (the US Deep State) take out Russia or run it into debt via a war they believe they would win. The end game is a takeover of Russia in one form or another.
As it was said before in articles of the Saker, Kissinger and his chum Soros, were British agents sent to the US to make sure their dog did what it was told.
You have to wonder why Nixon would appoint such a shadowy character like Kissinger to any position if he had not been anointed first.
The sooner the US realizes the enemy is the EU and UK (more particularly its elite & moneychangers), the forces that are ultimately promoting the US-Russia-China conflict, it will be on a path to have better relations with both.
There really needs to be a new US Neutrality Act – to keep it out of pandering to EU interests.
China production has got so large and money flows relating to it that it has been damaging domestic production and society in the US UK & EU and one face of the DS thinks should not be allowed to continue, but its other face likes the profits it generates for the few.
In looking at this we need to realize there are many nodes of the Deep State – some deeper than others.
Those at the top have alternative agendas and goals than others in its ranks.
The Russia-China alliance currently of concern by the DS arises from fear of a monetary union of Russo-Asia-Iran which the DS and their EU/UK masters cannot control. They do not want 2 main world currency blocks (USD-GBP-EURO and a Eurasian one) in competition with each other. Such a situation would nullify the evil plans of the NWO.
Elements of the US (including the Trump group) now realize raising China from the abyss was a double edge sword (great in some ways but a problem in others), and other elements (the MIC) also see a conflict with it or with or over Russia good value to line their pockets.
The US 2020 election was a gladiatorial event between 2 of the main forces there with the Chinese & EU/UK puppets (the Democrats) being installed via electoral fraud. But the nationalists wont be held down for long as the current Biden direction will send the US insolvent fast. Civil war is imminent. And outside players are playing a big role.
So battles lines have now been drawn.
Both Russia AND China are in their gunsights one way or another.
Whatever happens, Russia & Putin must remain on alert for all possible types of attacks including u-turns by China. As clearly the US & EU mkts (and their influence in Africa & Sth America & SE Asia & Japan) are more important to China than Russia and Eastern Europe.
China too must be alert for u-turns by the EU and the DS.
Anything can happen.

“The Deep State, however has always controlled China ….et al”
Thank you for your illustration of the more the fish wriggles the more the fish becomes enmeshed in the net.
Additional – when I talk about the EU & UK in the above comment I mean the controlling elites, not the common people there.
“It was naive on my part to hope to a return of Christianity,”
It is insane to supose that any of the activity described could promote any kind of true morality.
“There is no reason the US cannot be a friend of Russia and China and the differences can be worked out.”
Except for all the people who own America.
Fascinating how Mr. S considers himself a Christian and referring to the West as the “Christian community of nations” . More like Anti-Christian.
He seems disturbingly unrepentant for the lives he & his DS colleagues have destroyed. e.g. Dismembering Russia was a mistake, because it strengthened China… bombing of Serbia; another mistake because it caused Russia to re-militarise….not a word about the human cost involved in all of this.
Btw, great article, this one and the previous one posted!
Pepe is a great story-teller… one of its rarest kind…
… and his ultimate mind control magic is…
to abdicate all responsibility of interpretation (of the story, but really stoking the voice of the ego within the reader) to the readers, in their eyes, as they are enchanted or disgust, to themselves…
A bloody good story-teller is just that – Not here :)
Pepe, you know we love you man
… now pls will you tell us a story, from the secret sources in the east, those smiling eyes, how The Future of The End will be?
p/s didnt Mr S went on permanent ‘holiday’? why take a leak now?

RE: the tragedy of the US Deep State
“…either a Delphic oracle-style strategic thinker or a certified war criminal for those kept not so close.”
Evaluation requires an analysis of the contexts/environments including social relations within which behaviours to be evaluated were based.
Mr. Kissinger is a refugee from Nazi Germany most of whose relatives were killed, and mostly Mr. Kissinger was “socialised” and operated within, and on behalf of, social relations self-designated as “The United States of America”, which believed and continues to believe in “exceptionalism”, “supermen” and “oracles”.
Mr. Kissinger was/is apparently of the view that his strategic analyses and advice were always based on realism, whilst his associates relied to a greater degree on belief.
The interaction of “advisors” from “Germanic culture” with those from “American culture” in “The United States of America” often facilitated disharmony and resort to “intellectual bullying” by those from “Germanic culture”: examples including but not restricted to,Mr. von Braun, Mr. Kissinger, Mr. Morgenthau and Mr. Teller.
The social relations self-designated as “The United States of America” are saturated by practices of bullying/coercion in various forms as functions of “competition”.
The social relations self-designated as “The United States of America” tend to rely on short evaluation horizons, encouraging contingent myopia of what is for afters, “positive thinking”- also known as bridging doubt by belief -, and conflation of attempt with achievement.
Those advisors from “American culture” were/are imbuded with a level of intellectual insecurity in part facilitated by an admixture of “anti-intellectualism” saturating “American culture” and a contingent over-estimation by “American intellectuals” of the products of “European cultures.”
Mr. Kissinger’s associates particularly during the 1970’s found him exceptionally difficult to work with, and in part to minimise “blowback” Mr. Nixon and others encouraged notions of Mr. Kissinger as oracle.
Conflation of attempt with achievement is sustained like other fiats by the beliefs and complicities of others – Mr. Trump’s “career” being one example – and “peer review” attracts a very limited audience, particularly when not broadcast widely by design.
Another conflation inhibiting evaluation is “Strategic thinker”/Strategist affording the “Strategic thinker” opportunities to deflect “blame” to “bad implementation/not my fault”, where as Strategists tend to be evaluated on many factors including but not limited to outcomes and processes facilitated through cooperation.
A useful case study to consider in evaluating the acumen of Mr. Kissinger is the inter-relationship between “The United States of America” and China from 1949 until 2021 which underpins the view that Mr. Kissinger has recently undergone a “Road to Damascus Revelation/Conversion” – a metamorphosis from Saul to Paul.
“The United States of America” was/is of the view that prior to 1949 they “owned” China but “lost” it in October 1949 to great dismay and seeking of whom – not me- to blame.
From 1949 onwards “The United States of America” always considered how to minimise this loss of China and when opportune remedy this loss of China by achieving ownership of China once more in a modulated form, the achievement of which they deemed to be the highest prize attracting the highest acclamation and historical fame.
Mr. Kissinger and Mr. Nixon – both subject to bouts of depression and contingent insecurities – had a “plan” reflecting in large part their “strategies” in respect of withdrawl of the US dollar from the gold standard, the petro-dollar and related fiats.
Some in a different location/”culture” remembered Mr. Donne’s observation that :
No man is an island entire of itself;
every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main;
if a clod be washed away by the sea,
Europe is the less, as well as if a promontory were,
as well as any manner of thy friends or of thine
own were;
Any man’s death diminishes me,
because I am involved in mankind.
And therefore never send to know for whom
the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.
And perceived some strategic opportunities to transcend the opponents thereby, which informed their strategies from circa 1970 until 2021.
Like Mr. Berezhovsky and Mr. Brzezinsky before him, Mr. Kissinger starts to realise that his “perceived” highest achievements at best can be spun as :
First he won China
Then he lost it again.
whilst his opponents recognise that:
His “achievements” were turned to dust with his complicity, rendering his “achievements” useful foolery, as previously forecast in respect of social relations which operate in fantasy lands where wishes are conflated with strategies, and the designation of “loser” is a mark of greatest contempt, whilst being the most likely outcome.
It is not a tragedy except to those saturated in self-indulgence, their continuing saturation facilitating opportunities of further iterations of likely outcomes, to which they could respond by emulating the little girl who threatened to eat worms.

Balance of Power Politics. Mr. S shows his age. He’s old enough to remember an America that shunned the Euro centred great game of balance of power politics. It was exactly this that first President Washington warned his countrymen against in the memorable Farewell Address. A world of entangling alliances that subordinated all political life to a perpetual intrigue of the gods and titans of the states system of the time. Washington told America that the new Republic should go its own way and stay focused on creating a new world that would leave the old far behind them. And to some considerable degree, this is what happened for most of the 19th century. In the late century a change set in with the robber barons, their new money, the Europeanisation of American bourgeoise culture, and finally America’s foray into Euro style imperialism in 1898. Subsequent Anglo-Zionist developments drove America into the Great War and the establishment of a new financial order that set the tone for the next century. Still, sections of the American republican elite and the people resisted this trend and remained ‘isolationist’ right down to Pearl Harbour when once again they were dragooned into the globalising plans of the Atlanticists. After the War the new right/Christian crusade to contain communism, especially after the ‘loss’ of China, trampled Washington’s original policy six feet under. It’s at this point that Mr. S commences his review of the times starting with Vietnam.
I think it’s important to understand, and as to set things into perspective, that American postwar global leadership with it’s ‘containment’ doctrine essentially committed America and it’s occupied vassal states to follow in the footsteps of the Third Reich. This is not just the resumption of Western oligarchic hostility towards the Soviet alliance, openly promoted by the Nazis. It was also a repudiation of the Westphalian order of sovereign states that had recently come to be enshrined in the UN which had the allegiance of both the PRC and the USSR. The imperialistic doctrines of the master race (think GB – the Nazis were latecomers to the game) was edited to become the Crusade for Freedom but it was the same people doing what they’d always done for the same ends. We properly call it empire. But the point to make regards the ‘values’ situated on the leading edge of the spear of power. We should carefully take note of those who make a great clamour for ‘noble’ values. I fear I will antagonise some but here goes: much of what we call ‘morality’ is thinly concealed aggression, the purpose of which is to divide. This should be obvious. Morality divides the world into good and evil. Between freedom loving ‘moderate’ Islamists and dictatorial, authoritarian butchers who gas their own people and …and .. etc. Morality is the key component of divide and rule. Beware. The Clinton machine is a managerial consortium based upon the legion of ‘civil society’ NGOs that that have done the neoliberal globalist Lords Work for hedge fund snakes since the 80s. All of them are ‘values’ based. And this is their strategy, despite this house of economic cards, they aim to gain hold of the net centred minds of the young all over the world under the banner of climate change and social equity. Values.
It is most instructive to take note of the activities of the Russian Foreign Ministry. Consider it’s diplomatic activities in Syria. They have made clear their aim, which is to reconcile, where possible, the fragments of the Syrian state while helping the government of Assad to keep its seat and regain it’s territory. What we are looking at here is the exact opposite of divide and rule. Its first notable accomplishment was Astana (here is the future of the UN). What they did in Syria is no anomaly. The same policy is evident everywhere else. Yes, Russia and China do have a substantial alliance for the most obvious reasons. But Russia remains a friend of India and Vietnam as well. Russia has committed military resources to Syria but maintains ‘correct’ relations (and better) with Israel and Turkey. Russia has provided Iran with important forms of support but remains on open and friendly terms with the Saudis who in turn have expressed an interest in Russian defensive technology. One could go on. Point: Russian foreign policy is intelligible. It is exactly the opposite of the Anglo-Zionist divide and rule practice. I don’t think this is a here today and gone tomorrow policy. They know what they are doing and where they’re headed. It’s slow going but .. it goes. What then might we say about the moral posture of the Russian Foreign Ministry? Do they go about the world drumming up the virtues of Slavic brotherhood? No. They don’t. They listen, then speak. (This listening is un-European) This is diplomacy. There is no particular moral posturing here. But still, as it was said: ‘blessed are the peacemakers’.
I always wondered how com Dr, Kissinger was all the time feted (“wined and dined”) on China so openly during his later years. Of course , the CHinese never refrain from calling their ole friends “Great Chums” (Zhongguó rénmínde lâo-hâo péngyôu) — even after they proved not quite that!. Only after a few years I discovered that the evil doctor Kissinger had been cultivating a rival power clique within the Ruling Communist party, and that this alternative power buildup (which feasted the naughty Haintz-Georg Kiss-er) were much more sought after bu the bad doctor that the bad courtship dance he pretended in Bĕijing. Educated Chinese are extremely good at spotting and discerning that typpe of foul play — many of them had been practicing both go (wĕi-qī) and bridge under Zhū Dé’ and Dèng Xiǎopíng!

It’s interesting that the author, plus several commentators, date 1900 as the time of the beginning of America’s quest for world domination, as opposed to merely dominating North America. It’s congruent with William Appleman William’s seminal study “The Tragedy of American Diplomacy,” which dates the beginning of the same to the Open Door policy in 1898-99. The Policy effectively demanded that the U.S. have the same access to every other country’s commercial resources that the country itself did. Since by then the U.S. had the largest economy in the world, the U.S. could take over the economy of any country whenever it wished. Although Mr. William’s these ended in 1972, with Vietnam still in progress, the looting of the remnants of the Soviet Union in the 1990’s seems to confirm it. Also our looting of the Ukraine that Blinken and Nuland were demanding in the author’s previous post: I couldn’t see the basis for, in my comment there; but on second thought now I do. It’s completely in accordance with the Open Door Policy in every particular, writ large.
The article should be titled:
“Insider View: Demonic Delusions of the US Deep State”
If this Mr. S is real, then his comments are revealing of the absolute depravity of the American “deep state” elites as they play Masters of the Universe who have the power to destroy nations around the world–all in order to keep America the overlord of the planet.
BTW, who elected you bastards to be Masters of the Universe?
Absolutely no one in this world–except for you and your small cabal of inbred “elites.”
Now, these US Deep State devils are soiling their panties in rage because their usual Divide-and-Colonize tactics are not working against the the Russia-China-Eurasian alliance.
Boo-hoo. Too bad, so sad.
I like how this Deep State demon is spouting empty platitudes about being Christian–in order to justify this Deep State depravity.
These comments exemplify the Goebbelsian lies that the Deep State tell themselves in order to rationalize in their own heads why they have a God-given right to be (hidden) dictators of the entire world.
These US Deep State demons should be thankful that ordinary people don’t know who they are (except Pepe Escobar), as they would be hunted down and hung from the highest tree as punishment for their crimes against humanity around the planet….
Here’s a big middle finger salute to all of them!
If I were in charge of the U.S., I would strengthen my ties to India. India is an enemy of China that shares a huge border.
I would try to mediate and smooth over any disputes, especially between countries as ancient and important as India and china, and do my best to bring peace to the world, because that would make the pie bigger for all.
What an idiot I must be, hunh?
Deep state or no deep state, it is over for US. China is expected to triple US economy in GDP in the next 20 years or so. Keep in mind that there are no chosen people in China and China plays Go.
Make it 15 years not 20 years.
Its been over for quite a while, I think that’s the trouble.
Ukraine should be a good example of what the future holds for the U.S.
Quoting Mr. S., The Deep State wanted to start a Vietnam for Russia in Afghanistan in 1979. In fact the US started setting a trap in Afghanistan iin 1974, and I can easily prove it right here. Afghanistan had been the focus of a peaceful competition between the US and the USSR, in nation building. It was a relatively inexpensive competition for the hearts and minds of an obviously very strategic nation. But in 1974, USAID ended all new projects in Afghanistan, saying the US government was out of money. Obviously it was a lie because the US has spent trillions of dollars since then. Cessation of US nation-building meant three things: 1. The USSR would win the competition by default, which is exactly what happened by 1979, 2. The way was opened for rural jihadis to be created to fight the Soviets – to the last Afghani if need be, and 3. this led intentionally to destroying Afghanistan as a nation, which is what our Israeli masters wanted. Look into the details and you will find the US was training the jihadis after 1974, not waiting until 1979. March 1979 was the Herat uprising. The jihadis were create with Saudi money, and US control. In June or July of 1979, President Carter signed a presidential directive which declared an intent to raise US military spending to 5% of GDP and the spending of our European puppets to 3% of their GDP’s. Summer of 1979, there was no need for increased spending, unless you knew the US intended to start a war in Afghanistan. By August 1979, tensions in Afghanistan had become inflamed and it was clear the Soviets were considering an outright invasion. In the fall of 1979, I read a series of articles in a regional US newspaper that Soviet generals so-and-so was paying a one week visit to Afghanistan. But the “news” left out what responsibilities these generals had, and what they might be doing there. I didn’t know, of course. To honest journalists and to any Westerner in Kabul, it had to have been quite clear that the Soviets were seriously considering, if not outright planning, an invasion. But curiously, Jimmy Carter did not raise a public alarm, did not threaten the Soviets to not invade. No, no… All quiet, quiet just like, say, December 6, 1941, secretly waiting for the trap that was set. When the Soviets rolled into Afghanistan on Dec. 25, 1979, the US government had to have know everything. But Carter, the little weasel, went on television and claimed he had no idea whatsoever, that it was the shock of his life. The only real shock was that Carter was willing to sacrifice his own career, along with the lives of 800,000 Afghani men, women and children – but we would not recognize that until it was too late.
I don’t know why people don’t date the US plan for war in Afghanistan in 1974, but there it is: USAID shutting down because tens of millions of dollars was too much, is the supreme hoax and the supreme proof.
“So there is no reason why the US cannot be friend of Russia and China. And differences can be worked out.”
Provided that this alliance… tripartite alliance is NOT based on morality and noble values, of course.
What could it be based on, mr deep stater?
But here I’ ve got a hint.
Suggest the Tesla guys and many more of the kind so to just speed up the hydrocarbon substitution in a real hurry.
Because, otherwise Moscou/Ryad/Teheran can actually work out an agreement to boost the old price to the skies and drive a mess upon Uncle Schmuell
Geopolitical porn ;)
Its always fascinating to read how the chess players of geopolitics play their game and use their pawns.
Especially since on this Grand Chessboard you can not play without being played yourself.
i’m surprised you allowed a first person narrative from your deep-state source. as presented it seems easy for others in deep-state to identify the source. otoh if it was reported instead like “one member had warned our meetings how bombing Belgrade in 1999” rather than “ The Deep State had been warned by me at our meetings on how bombing Belgrade in 1999” … seems they would silence your source, unless of course you are patsy to publish their “insider” narrative
RE: juanito on May 14, 2021 · at 11:40 pm EST/EDT
“it seems easy for others in deep-state to identify the source.”
Evaluation is a function of purposes, facilities and contexts (of the source, the recipient ,and the audiences including but not limited to “The Deep State”) in interaction.
Your binary comment limits focus of variations of the purposes, facilities , and contexts of “The Deep State” to whether or not the “Deep State” wishes or does not wish the source to broadcast the information, thereby obfuscating puposes, facilities, and contexts of “The Deep State”.
Your futher binary comment limits perception through focus of potential remedy to “”seems they would silence your source”
Perhaps reading some comments attached to “What just happened in Ukraine” and “Insider view: the tragedy of the US Deep State” may illuminate the points outlined above further.
Datastreams contain data not restricted to “narrative” that some can analyse.
Reliance on assumptions – designated by some as let n = 2 ness – facilitates useful foolery.
“you are patsy to publish their “insider” narrative.”
Although not within the facilities of some, broadcasting is achieved by transmission not publication, hence resort to “moderation” merely adds to datastreams available to some, whilst non resort to “moderation” affords opportunities of interpretation to more than some.
Consequently resort to censorship is often used to bring attention to the object censored – as illustrated in the opponents’ attempted useful fooleries,in the public domain including, but not restricted to, belief in the security of atomic codes based upon myths of limited access.
This resort to a wider spectrum is also used in respect of the existence or not of “The Deep State”, the facilities of “The Deep State” and outcomes it/they achieved, the facilities of the “Surveillance State” and outcomes it/they achieved, and their contributions to the continuance of Fantasy Lands.
I guess it’s true that the good die young. I honestly can’t figure out who the Crash Test Dummy’s friends are, besides the UK and I’m not always certain about them.
