No mention of the terrorists overrunning SAA positions at Morek? It wasn’t a catastrophic defeat, but it was significant enough to make the Western press.
Morek has changed hands several times. The SAA last captured it in 2014 after an EIGHT MONTH siege. Its loss is a significant blow to the SAA. They need to redeploy the troops they massed in preparation for an offensive against Palmyra and form another defensive line or they could be in serious trouble. The terrorist offensive has Hama as its objective and the SAA simply cannot afford Hama to fall – it would be a literal death blow.
On the other fronts things are going well enough for the SAA. The South Aleppo front especially looks promising although it is unclear what the strategic objective there is.
Plenty of other sources, pro gov and anti-gov have verified it. Or are you actually claiming that Morek hasn’t fallen and is still in government hands?
I can’t speak to the veracity of Euro-news – I never use it as a source. I originally had a Reuters article and lost it. My goal was only to show that the loss of Morek was significant enough to make the Western press. Most battles in Syria are not.
Yes, I thought that was strange too. I hope South Front is leaving negative information out.
Good news on the Aleppo front thought. SAA is really advancing fast in southern Aleppo and recently captured kafr haddah and is now fighting for al hadher.
Yes, it appears to go real well in Aleppo, but it almost seems like that is the most unimportant front, rastan pocket or hama or latakia seems to be the most crucial areas to secure, I mean, I guess you could argue that Aleppo is the most important region because that is where many of the terrorists pass from Turkey into Syria with arms and such so if you take over Aleppo the terrorists are basically lost.. But this seems very ambitious to me, Aleppo and idlb must be the hardest regions to capture.
The ideal strategic objective would be to strike due West linking up with the Idlib enclave and then extend further to the Turkish boarder. This would have cut the the supplies to the majority of the militants in this northern sector. They could then push south capturing a huge area and securing most of the Syrian held land.
Would have been doable if they had just concentrated on this front and used a steamroller blitz.
Going all the way from SW Aleppo to Ibdil sounds much easier said than done. Even attempting to would create a very long salient that would be difficult for the SAA to defend given its depleted manpower. Right now I think the goal is to sever a section of the M5 sometime within the next two-three weeks, which will make things much more difficult for the rebels logistically.
Going all they way from Aleppo to Ibdil (less than 30Km ) wouldnt be enough. They have to go to the Turkish boarder to fully encircle all the terrorists south of Aleppo.
The SAA has a staggering advantage in firepower, most armies with that sort of advantage could spear across and secure that gap in 2 days. If the army is that incompetent that they cant, then the best option is to head for Germany.
I have no expectations that the SAA will get any further in Southern Aleppo than they are now. ISIS looks to have them well covered. It is very unlikely that they make the M5 and even if they did the terrorists can use the 60 Hwy and would be hardly inconvenienced.
You realize that over 70,000 Syrian troops have died in the last 5 years and around 30,000 civilian militia members as well.. Only like 40,000 terrorists have been killed in that time.. Having fire power is great if you don’t care about the civilians.. Assad has such support only because he is not willing to sacrifice Syrians to defeat an enemy. Although some Syrians wonder why he don’t do that, Syria does have like 20,000 ballistic missiles which they haven’t used and mostly rusting in where houses. Those barrel bombs are just 500kg regular bombs which are homemade and not much different than any other 500kg bomb. The Syrian army just is not designed to fight a guerilla war.. if nato could not win one, what ever makes you think a country like Syria could? The terrorists just walk away when the going gets tough and show up after the army leaves. Sometimes they gather in strength and attack positions and supply lines. It is not just a simple matter of cutting off supplies.. Especially when millions of people depend on those supplies.. Why not also say, why does assad pay salaries.. Why does assad grade the kids.. Why does assad provide medical care and electricity and water supplies..
because the civilians are 100% Syrian.. While the terrorists are more than likely foreign.. Even with 5-10% support, that 20 million Syrians means 500,000-1,000,000 terrorist sympathizers.. You need a police force of 10 times that amount to control them. Look at the trouble the US had in controlling Iraq.. Majority of Iraqi’s were civilians, the US had no qualms about starving bombing and killing civilians or any Iraqi.. after 2 million dead, we have the likes of IS.. I think less than 10% of the damage the US did in Iraq is a testament to the difference of a leader who cares about the people and one who gives a shit about rag heads.. What you suggest is doing a US on the Syrians by the Syrians.. Maybe we should ask porkey to move to Syria.. he would have no qualms about such things.. Aleppo still have 1.5 million people living under government control.. Even if the terrorists have cut off most roads and control many parts of it. That’s a LOT of people..
That seems unlikely, it has taken them a month to get thus far. And in many areas their advances are being reversed by terrorist offensives..
I am not really certain what their goal is in southern Aleppo, I suppose it is just to expand their control and buffer around the areas of Aleppo city they control.
But to me Aleppo seems like the least important area, Latakia and Hama and Homes seems like the most important places to me.. If I had been in control of the offensive I would have focus all effort on first securing territorial continuity, such as taking over the Rastan pocket, and then after that, focused all military resources on pushing north from hama and Latakia province as far as possible.
Now they seem to be attacking everwhere and getting small gains everywhere, of course, it might be that all other offensives are just a distraction and their real muscle is going into the Aleppo offensive.
I appreciate your reports and send you money to help the cause.
But they tear me up inside. My heart is heavy and constricted by the news. I hate getting into the cycle of feeling up when our side is winning and down when it’s the opposite.
Without doubt an incredible number of people prefer war to the boredom of peace. I wish I could recall a Shakespeare quote relative to this. So many are making money off this tragedy. I’d bet too there are gamblers placing bets on how the wars are going. It surely affects the stock market casino.
I commented on another thread today about “the medium is the message.” Marshall McLuhan also termed it “the medium is the massage.” I can feel my body massaged by war when viewing it on modern media.
What to do? I want peace. Should I enclose myself in a bubble of peace and ignore war altogether? Would I have peace that way? I doubt it.
Under the heading of media being the message, I resonate with the image of a peaceful vineyard overlooked by a strong saker. Ancient vineyards are icons of love which I go to for sanctuary.
“Let us get up early to the vineyards; let us see whether the vine hath budded, if its blossom is opened and the pomegranates are in flower. There will I give thee my love.” -Song of Songs 7:12.
I have a faint ache over my left breast. I worry that vineyards, real and metaphorical, are being threatened all over by more than pesticides. Media is a two edged sword that cuts and cures.
Fortunately over the years I’ve developed my own immunity system. I think it’s strong enough to go on watching war reports and hearing martial music. I want to maintain my humanity and not be turned into a cog in a war machine, even by passive and non-violent participation.
I keep wondering if such sentiments are not annoyances to the war scenarios that fly by me. If I look for them the sakers also whistle by and beckon me on to the higher ground depicted on the masthead here.
“If you get to heaven before I do, tell all my friends I’m comin’ home too.”
I am not sure they quite fit but here’s a couple of Shakespeare quotes from Othello and Henry V:
“Peace is a very apoplexy, lethargy; mull’d, deaf, sleepy,
insensible; a getter of more bastard children than war’s a
destroyer of men”
“In peace there’s nothing so becomes a man; As modest stillness and humility; But when the blast of war blows in our ears, Then imitate the action of the tiger; Stiffen the sinews, summon up the blood, Then lend the eye a terrible aspect; Now set the teeth, and stretch the nostril wide, Hold hard the breath, and bend up every spirit; To his full height”
Plane Suffered ‘Sudden Explosive Decompression’ 24 Minutes After Takeoff
Sound of explosion heard on Russian plane’s black box: French TV
The audio recorders also picked up the sound of the explosion, apparently a bomb, as investigators say the explosion was not consistent with engine failure or any other technical problem. Russian experts have taken samples from the plane and are still looking for traces of explosives.
With the US/UK plastering everything in sight with a bomb theory, I have to go with a US drone strike.. Not purposely shooting but an accident.. Seems the pilots did not have time to say what happened? If the anglo’s had the information of a bomb on board and they let over 200 civilians die.. The world will turn against them overtly instead of just covertly like now. After shooting running doctors and bombing hospitals and wedding parties, everyone is sick of the arm twisting off empire of body parts.
UK Passenger Plane Dodged Missile Above Sharm el-Sheikh in August – Reports
A UK plane carrying 189 passengers came within 1,000 feet of a missile as it approached Egypt’s Sharm el-Sheikh airport on August 23, The Daily Mail newspaper reported Saturday.
The daily fail is full of sensational cr*p and lies, it is MSM media which blamed Putin for MH17, refused to publish – i.e. actively censored pro-Putin and Donbass siding – comments on their reports of it and Ukraine.
And they didn’t announce that to the World? Thus, potentially putting the lives of thousands of civilians at risk. And maybe being a contributor to the deaths of the 224 Russian civilians on the plane that went down.If true, that pretty much should be a cause for serious charges of negligence filed in Russia on that company and British officials involved in the cover-up.
“These developments suggest that Putin will have to move fast if he wants to seal the border and derail Erdogan’s plan. The Russian president might have to deploy Russian Special Forces and armored divisions northward to discourage US-Turkey adventurism and to prevent the war from turning into a quagmire.”
I would say if that article is accurate Russia (and Iran) are faced with two alternatives.1,the actually send troops to Syria. And privately or publicly warn Turkey and NATO that they are on the edge of WWIII and now may be their only chance to prevent it.If there is no adequate response, drive the Turkish forces out.And the chips fall where they may. 2,to abandon Syria, concede Syria to the empire.Tuck their tails between their legs and go home.Once you have Turkish troops actually invading and fighting in Syria there is no turning back. And all that is left are those two choices.
Just when I think the Rada’s hyenas couldn’t get any more vile, they prove me wrong:
“Yatsenyuk’s deputy hit Timoshenko’s deputy on the head with a bottle at the Ukrainian parliament”
A fight broke out between the deputy/volunteer battalion commander, Andrei Tetruk (elected from the People’s front of Arseniy Yatsenyuk) and deputy Alexandra Kuzhel (from Batkivshchyna of Yulia Tymoshenko) in Verkhovnaya Rada of Ukraine. A former participant of the ATO hit a female colleague on the head with a bottle during the discussion after the meeting of parliament.
Press-service of “Batkivshchina” reported the incident:
“A shameful incident took place after the plenary session, right next to the reception room of the head of the Verkhovna Rada, in the presence of other deputies.
According to a witness, people’s deputy Sergey Vlasenko, Teteruk made offensive remarks about members of the faction “Batkivshchyna”, personally grossly insulted Alexandra Kuzhel and hit her on the head with a glass bottle.
According to Vlasenko, deputies present had no time to react to prevent an attack on the colleague.
Another witness of the incident, MP from “Batkivshchyna,” Vadim Ivchenko said that Alexandra Kuzhel is in bad shape – the ambulance doctors diagnosed a concussion.
As reported by Ivchenko, the police questioned witnesses of the incident, including people’s deputies Stepan Kubiv, Sergey Vlasenko, Sergey Yevtushko and Andrey Teteruk”, — stated the report.
Teteruk has already issued a public apology.
“The course of events can be terribly unpredictable. While chatting with Alexandra Kuzhel a conflict occurred accidentally, for which I publicly apologize.
Believe me, despite the emotions that are raging today, I am sincerely sorry,” – wrote Teteruk on Facebook.
As reported by “Politnavigator”, not so long ago Alexandra Kuzhel appeared on TV screens looking much younger — probably after plastic surgery.
One may recall, similar scenes were abundant in “Rada” even well before the “Maidan” phase of the events in Malorussia (they were all over YouTube), a portent of the things to come.
The simmering situation in Novorussia is about to change. Alexander Dugin’s scholarly analyses and predictions of the events there are by far the best.
“… He argues that renewed war in Ukraine is even more likely now than before because it is the US’s only means to parry Russian successes in Syria.
“The war in Donbass will be imposed on us by Washington and Kiev.”
“And if we were not fighting ISIS in Syria, then we would have to do it in Central Asia.”
“Yes, we are losing (in the Ukraine), but we haven’t lost yet so far as the Donetsk and Lugansk people’s republics control the border.”
… ”
I see your point.I still believe the “behavior” itself is vile. But, its further exposing the “character” of the Rada members governing Banderastan,I agree is good.
Yes, I just read this Alex’ article and what strikes me the most is the following:
The complete integration/synchronization of political, diplomatic, military and (not mentioned) economic activity, as Alex Mercuris described it so well, is what gives RF approach unbeatable. This ought to labeled as Putin’s or Putin-Lavrov doctrine although I am sure there are others, like Shoigu, who made their contribution to this doctrine. Talking all the time to the enemy, informing it, while fighting it, to the extent RF does, is I believe unique in history of warfare, yet it is characteristic of famous dictum: keep your friends close, your enemies even closer.
It is November 2015. You are a takfiri hero in Syria. You have an ISIS flag, an Al-Nusra outfit and a bunch of Jihadi stickers.
All your brothers in arms are idiots. The SAA is closing in from all directions. Even food and water supplies have become a daily problem. The thundering noise of the Russian jet fighters makes sleep difficult.
You know your American ‘friends’ won’t rescue you. The Mossad ‘civilian massacre’ specialists haven’t shown up for weeks. Rumors are your Saudi Prince sponsor has become more interested in shooting down Russian charter flights than paying his private ‘Allahu Akbar Army’.
If you retreat, you are executed by your ISIS commander, if you stay where you are you get fried by Hezbollah. You can’t even phone home and tell Mom not to worry, because your phone doesn’t work.
Not totally. Such a situation would call for adopting an old tradition of my US allies dating from the Vietnam era at least: Time to frag my officer. Then I can bug out without being killed.
Concerning Turkish Foreign Minister’s Sinirlioğlu’s announcement today of imminent Turkish military moves against ISIL, Whitney recalls ancient history, invokes the London Telegraph (See here) and forgets the recent aggressive moves by Turkey to shut down ISIL following a deadly terror attack that killed over 100 peace activists during the recent election campaign.
Here is an excerpt:
“Naturally, none of this has anything to do with fighting terrorism, in fact, Erdogan has been the terrorists best friend allowing them to pass back and forth across the border unimpeded. What Sinirlioğlu’s announcement means is that Turkey is finally ready to seize the 60 mile stretch of land referred to in the Telegraph article. As of this writing, we don’t know what the White House’s reaction to this Sinirlioğlu’s announcement will be, but we do know that Obama is scheduled to meet with Erdogan in Ankara in less than two weeks. By then, the administration will have decided whether they will stick with the Kurds or cast their lot with Erdogan. Either way, there’s going to be an attempt to create a safe zone from which Washington can continue to prosecute its war on Assad. That much is certain.
These developments suggest that Putin will have to move fast if he wants to seal the border and derail Erdogan’s plan. The Russian president might have to deploy Russian Special Forces and armored divisions northward to discourage US-Turkey adventurism and to prevent the war from turning into a quagmire.
This is one situation where preemption could really pay off bigtime.”
Which puts Whitney in lock-step with Saudi Arabia, the UK, ISIS, SS John Kerry and all the other state and non state actors pushing furiously for a catastrophic Overreaction on the part of Russia —
Wise saying:Beware the AngloZionist liberal who calls for aggressive military action.
Yes Sir — Whitney wants dramatic escalatory action from Russia just as terrorist losses begin to look epic in the face of an accelerating Syria-Hezbollah-Russia-Iran onslaught (See here) and just as their NATO/Israeli special forces mentors appear to be doing their best to get the hell out of Dodge (See here).
Supporters of Overreaction have gone so far as to knock a fully loaded passenger jet out of the sky killing 224 innocent people and are now said to have threatened to shoot down a Russian relief plane trying to leave Yemen.
Russia is almost silent but Whitney is hugely upset, banging the table demanding SOMEONE stop Erdogan, threatening quagmire while Russian government owned RT has an entirely different take on the planned — and thoroughly agreed upon Turkish occupation of a section of northern Syria —
Turkey to ‘act militarily’ against ISIS in coming days – foreign minister
Could it be that Whitney doesn’t know about the close working relationship between Russia and Turkey?
This from Republic of Turkey Ministry of Foreign Affairs website. Note the date and the friendly nature of the talks as described by the Turks themselves.
Sep 15, 2015
Foreign Minister Feridun Sinirlioğlu is in Sochi
Foreign Minister Feridun Sinirlioğlu paid a working visit to the Russian Federation on 15-16 September 2015.
Speaking before the meeting, Foreign Minister Sinirlioğlu stated that the two countries enjoyed a strong dialogue at all levels and that Turkey attached great importance to its relations with Russian Federation. Foreign Minister Sinirlioğlu added that both countries had the political will to further bilateral relations in every field.
Stressing that international and regional issues such as Syria and fight against terrorism topped the agenda of both countries, Foreign Minister Sinirlioğlu said that both Turkey and the Russian Federation contributed to the stability in the entire region and beyond and had concerns due to the developments that could disturb regional stability. Foreign Minister Sinirlioğlu added that two countries would be benefited from advancing cooperation on issues of stability, peace and security, increasing empathy between them and establishing a road map to achieve common targets.
Russia is intimitely aware of Turkish plans because they have been working closely with Erdogan since long before it became apparent to Western leaders he wasn’t going anywhere. Once again, the Russians were three steps ahead of their foes in the game of diplomacy.
This while Al-CIA-da was busy murdering peaceful protestors in Turkey, attempting to destabilze the AKP regime, knowing full well that Erdogan would be blamed for anything and everything that happened to his opponents. Moments after the blast shocked bystanders immediately began shouting Erdogan — Murderer! — something which was entirely predictable.
The realization that Russia and Turkey had secured a semi-secret alliance also helps explain Dame Merkel’s need to run to Sultan Erdogan, with cash in hand and on bended knee, just days before the election held on Novemeber 1st. (See here)
It seems probable that Merkel was so badly outplayed by Putin that she saw no alternative but to humiliate herself and beg the Turks not to side with Russia.
Whitney’s new theory is the same as his old theory. (See here) Neither does he account for Russia and Turkey’s overwhelming common interests with respect to terrorism nor does he mention the mutually agreed contents of the Syria declaration.
Please note points #1 & #8 below. Both sides have agreed to the following:
Final declaration on the results of the Syria Talks in Vienna as agreed by participants
Point 1. Syria’s unity, independence, territorial integrity, and secular character are fundamental.
Point 8. This political process will be Syrian led and Syrian owned, and the Syrian people will decide the future of Syria.
So it seems whatever the long term fate of Assad, Russia and Turkey have agreed to act in concert to quash the terrorists once and for all. Should Turkey decide to attack the Russian backed Syrian Arab Army, as Whitney suggests is likely to happen, it would mark the begining of a full blown Third World War.
Erdogan is as wily as any of the main players. Even as he makes deals with Putin he has protected himself long term by allowing NATO full access to Incirlik. He has kept his options open but whatever you may think of him, he isn’t looking to instigate a direct confrontation with a nuclear superpower. No matter what, Erdogan isn’t stupid enough to risk World War 3, gaining nothing and benefiting only his most committed enemies.
The Empire is pursuing a two-track strategy for negotiations. Weakly they seek resolution while simultaneously they push Russia hard hoping to generate an Overreaction which might slow anti-terrorist coalition momentum and weaken Russia’s overall negotiating position.
Much depends on the speed of the Syrian advance. Turkey wants to ensure Kurdish territory along their Syrian border is not made contiguous and to return or remove refugees to Syria or Europe. They can do this without breaking the committments made in Vienna although it may be hard to remove them from Syrian terrirtory as negotiations proceed. All parties except Israel, their Zio-Atlanticist minions, NATO and CIA run Saudi Arabia have a long term interest in killing as many terrorists as possible.
Make up your own mind about Whitney. He may have a role at another, higher level, where he is knowingly or unknowingly tasked with manipulating his credulous audience and assisting the Anglo peace and sanity faction, as he understands it to be necessary. Personally, I have always mistrusted him. Like other well known figures in the so-called alternative media, I have frequently noticed, he always seems to pop up during moments of crisis offering VERY BAD advice.
A far better solution would be a good old tested Turkish military coup d’etat.
(BTW, would that be possible? I mean, in view of Erdovan’s recent en-masse purge of the army brass?)
“Last week, two F-16s attacked the city of Aleppo in Syria, a city of 2.5 million people, one of the oldest inhabited cities in the world. Russia Vladimir Putin called the attack “strange” and questioned the motives of the United States. Following the attack, the reasoning behind the seemingly bizarre assault has become clear, the United States is trying to overthrow the government of Assad using germ warfare.
The supply of natural water of Syria is the Euphrates river, carrying the anger, of course, but also tens of waterborne diseases totally resistant to antibiotics where it is unlikely to guarantee a favorable outcome even with the best palliative care.(….)
(….) The current attack, coinciding with both the refugee crisis in Europe and large-scale military operations that are clearing the province of Aleppo from backed “moderate terrorists” coalition is most likely what was prompting the Pentagon to the point of carrying out the attack on the facilities of water purification in Aleppo. The US goal was to start a cholera epidemic in one of the largest cities in the Middle East, driving tens of thousands of refugees in the middle of a massive military operation against the terrorist groups with which the Pentagon has been playing for a time.(….)
(….) Coinciding with the US attack, has been hidden in full by all reports from the region, including publications of Twitter and Facebook, thorough cleaning of all reports about the US bombing except Veterans TASS and Russia Today .
Even the statements of President Putin mentioning the US attack in 3 cases, are banned in all western press and cleaned from the internet.
The Pentagon plan is specifically biological warfare and is not the first time that has been used in Syria. The “Free Syrian Army”, with both Israeli and US advisors in special operations in each unit, has focused on the supply of water through Syria, particularly Damascus.
We know the Pentagon plan to destroy the facilities of chlorination of Aleppo. The Euphrates River with its endless supply of human waste would do the rest.(….)
I do not know if anyone else noticed that the President of the Russian Federation, Mr. Putin, had a special meeting with the Security Council addressing the threat of biological warfare as one of the dangers the country is facing right now…..
P.S: By the way, friend senior strategist, that also in that video, could be seen that Mr. Bortnikov, although seen only a moment, in profile, looked much better, as was noticed by Alice when the response was transmited…..Good.
We know the Pentagon plan to destroy the facilities of chlorination of Aleppo. The Euphrates River with its endless supply of human waste would do the rest.(….)
A cholera outbreak in Iraq has spread to Syria, Kuwait and Bahrain, and could turn into a region-wide epidemic as millions of pilgrims prepare to visit the country, according to UNICEF’s Iraq director.
The Russian strategy is to get to a unified Syrian effort versus ISIS. Bringing aboard patriotic rebels against Assad to fight alongside Syrian Army is the touchstone of this strategy.
The rest of the major players don’t want this to happen. It strengthens Assad.
As it is very easy to disrupt and a corollary goal for the US is to cause as much pain for Putin and Russia, all means of disruption will be at play against the strategy.
The logic of the Russian strategy should have been based solely on Iranian military participation. The Syrian Army is diminished, needs reinforcements and cannot win even if Russia continues the air war. The ISIS and AQ enemy is deeply entrenched in urban complexes. They are protected with copious supplies of TOWs and MANPADS. This is a siege that only starvation, lack of water or disease like cholera can win in short order.
And with the terrorists are hundreds of thousands of civilians, caught in the enclaves, the terrorists thus have human shields.
To win new positions we already see terrorists using chemical weapons. There will be much more of this as more, larger sieges develop.
The Iranians who, so far have not been brought to the battlefield, should be used to interdict all supply routes to the strongholds. Cut the food, water, medical and ammo supplies. Wherever airdrops from the US and Arabs hits the ground in the siege areas, devastating air strikes should quickly follow.
The strategy should be to deprive ISIS and AQ from all life support.
Presently, avenues of escape are allowed and reports are the terrorists are escaping when things get hot near these border routes out of Syria.
The theory is old. Leave your enemy a way out of the battlefield and the war shortens.
However, against the terrorists, this is very shortsighted. They will move to another zone or country and begin trouble there.
The only solution to ISIS and AQ has always been to kill them.
Why is this so?
Because they are, at base, suicidal, absolutely dedicated to annihilating all civilizations except for the Caliphate’s Sharia World.
Thus, they are the human equivalent of total nuclear war. Putin’s maxim to strike first and kill them is what must be maintained to achieve victory over terrorism.
Until Iran provides the hundreds of thousands of manpower necessary to cut off, surround and constrict them of all life support, the ISIS and AQ threat will own the battlefield, even while being diminished somewhat by air strikes and limited offensives.
The airdrop supplies to ISIS are probably contractors’ flying these missions. Shoot them down. Make it impossible for the US and Arabs and Turkey to support the terrorists.
The other strategic move should be for Assad and the Kurds to work out a formal federal autonomous potential, thus a fact on the ground that will become institutionalized in a new Constitution. The autonomous region inside Syria will be the homeland of the Kurds. No one else can guarantee that for the Kurds except Assad. Thus, they will fight with and for him and Syria.
A Kurdish Autonomous Region changes the dynamics of everything on the Turkish border. It deprives the US of its influence.
Erdo’s goose is cooking now that Russia has slashed their projected gas exports to Turkey by more than 50% and no increase for the next 3 years. So an islamofacist megalomaniac can kneel and beg like the best of em?
What about your pride erdo.. Even north korea says they are goona kook your goose.. Surrounded by enemies, can we start hear whining and ranting?
Turkey asks Iran to increase gas exports
Manouchehr Taheri, the director for dispatching affairs of the National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC), has been quoted by the media that the current volume of Iran’s gas exports to Turkey stands at 31 million cubic meters per day (mcm/d).
Taheri did not explain whether and when Iran would start to respond to Turkey’s request.
He emphasized that Iran is currently importing about 28 mcm/d of gas from Turkmenistan, adding that the volume will increase to 30 mcm/d “if Iran faces harsh winter conditions”.
You are one of the people, where I hope to awake more interest for Meteorology! Please look at my posts and get a wider picture about the current war on water & energy!
I cannot deliver them here in the comment but You will find a lot of images, videos, infographics explaining the topic visually!
Bankster Empire of Deception is grabbing the fundamental resources: ENERGY (fire), SOIL, WATER, AIR and by GMO FOOD!
It’s biggest scam project is “Saving the Climate against Climatechange & Globalwarming”. Sorry to see that most alternative, critical news hubs and writers ignore this because of their own ignorance about Meteorology.
I have looked at your previous post and this isn’t on topic. Please email the Saker direct if you wish to discuss this topic or prehaps write a piece on it? His address is in the contacts. Thanks. Mod TR
The rise and sink of CO2 level in the atmosphere is mainly steered by the seasonal and cyclical heating and cooling of the oceans.
Main point here is that first comes the heating or cooling and as a result of that the rise and sink of levels of H2O, CO2, CH4 and NOx. The evaporation of Water and trace gases like CO2 (0.037 %) is never the reason but only the result of temperature variation.
This evaporation has a cooling effect by carrying the heat upwards, which is partly observable as cloud building, but mostly transparent and invisible. CO2 is one of the heaviest components of Atmosphere, therefore it tends to fall down and accumulate near the Earth surface. Because of that property we have enough CO2 for fauna and flora to thrive. CO2 cannot collect at 6km height and create a greenhouse effect. It is jus too heavy. This speculation was disproved many times.
Every scam has a profound lie. The scam about #globalwarming & #climatechange begins with lies about #CO2. Learn the truth!
I am able to explain thechnical and meteoroligical mechanisms of Tropospheric Solar Radiation & Water Management. So please ask me, if You need more help.
I understand that the topic is very complicated, because different areas of knowledge have to be combined and the distraction by propaganda is very powerful, but please fight for knowledge.
OK, I understand, it is not specific enough about the plane crash. I have posted here, because I wanted to explain the broader background of the current conflict. We need to handle this accordingly. I will contact Saker directly.
I saw an interesting article on RT on the plane crash (attack?) and its possible relation to Egypt:
” If the Sinai crash was terrorism, its timing was perfect for the West”
A sketch by the late lamented US comedian Bill Hicks involved a US general at a press conference. “‘Iraq has incredible weapons. Incredible,’ the general said. ‘How do you know that?’ he was asked. “Oh, well, uh – we looked at the receipt.’”
In the aftermath of the Russian airplane crash in Egypt last week, Britain in particular has been quick to claim that the crash was the result of a “terrorist bomb,” presumably planted by Islamic State (previously ISIS/ISIL). So what is it that makes Cameron so sure that the terrorist group created by his Syria policy has the necessary training, equipment and wherewithal to carry out that attack? Did he look at the receipt?
What is clear is that if the plane was brought down by a bomb, and that bomb was planted by ISIS, it marks a major development for the group.
According to Raffaello Pantucci, of the Royal United Services Institute, an attack of this kind by ISIS would “herald an unseen level of sophistication in their bomb-making, as well as the ability to smuggle a device on board.”
But as well as a new technical feat, such an attack would represent an alarming change in tactics. The Times argued: “If the plane crash did turn out to be the work of an Islamic State affiliate in Sinai, it would mark a significant departure for the jihadist group, which had yet to launch a large-scale attack against civilians.”
So, if the plane was indeed brought down by an ISIS-in-Sinai bomb, either the group have suddenly been blessed with some amazing new technology, or they have suddenly decided to change tactics to mass killings of civilians. If the latter, isn’t it a little odd that, after more than a year of Western airstrikes apparently targeting them, ISIS have failed to launch such an attack against Western civilians – yet are able to respond within weeks to a campaign of Russian airstrikes which, according to the West, are not even aimed at them?
Either way, the crash couldn’t have been timed more perfectly from the point of view of Western geopolitics. After four years of setbacks, the West’s Syrian “regime change” (that euphemism for wholesale state destruction) operation now faces the prospect of imminent total defeat courtesy of Russia’s intervention. And options for how to salvage that operation are very limited indeed.
Full scale occupation is a non-starter; following Iraq and Afghanistan, both the US and British armies are now officially incapable of mounting such ventures. The Libya option – supporting death squads on the ground with NATO air cover – has always come up against Russian opposition, but has now been effectively rendered impossible. And relying on anti-government death squads alone is simply very unlikely to succeed, however many TOWs and manpads are feverishly thrown into the fire; after all, there are only so many terrorists and mercenaries who can be shipped in, and, as Mike Whitney put it, the world may have already reached “peak terrorist.”
Forcing Russia out – and turning US and British airpower openly and decisively against the Syrian state – has thus become a key objective for Western planners. But how to do it? What would turn Russians against the intervention? The Times wrote: “So far the war in Syria has been quite popular….[but] if it turns out that the war prompts terrorists to wreak vengeance on ordinary Russians by secreting explosives on planes, that gung-ho attitude could change.” Or at least, that is presumably what the Times hopes.
And downing the plane on Egyptian soil just before Sisi’s first state visit to Britain?
Egypt is at a historical crossroads. Having moved from the socialist camp into the West’s “orbit” during the Sadat era in the 1970s, Egypt’s leadership has become ever less willing to be dictated to by Washington and London: a process that began in the latter part of Mubarak’s rule, and has continued under Sisi. Along with Russia, Egypt has played a leading “spoiler role,” as Sukant Chandan puts it, in the West’s regime change operation in Syria – and has not been forgiven for it.
In addition, Mubarak’s government had been dragging its feet on the privatization and “structural adjustment” demanded by the IMF: and tourism was and is a major source of income helping to reduce the country’s dependence on the international banksters. But since last Saturday, all that is now in the balance; as the Financial Times commented, suspicions that the crash was caused by a bomb “are likely to prove disastrous to the country’s struggling tourism industry.”
Britain’s foreign secretary, Philip Hammond agreed. “Of course, this will have a huge negative impact on Egypt,” he announced matter-of-factly, following Britain’s decision to stop British flights to Egypt – seemingly without an ounce of regret. The likely massive loss of tourist income will force the Egyptians to go back to the IMF, who will, of course, demand their pound of flesh in the form of mass privatizations and “austerity.”
But it is not only Egypt’s economic dependency on the West that will be deepened by the crash – Britain, in particular, appears to be using the crash as leverage to re-insinuate itself into Egypt’s military and security apparatus. Firstly, British officials have been taking every opportunity to humiliate Egypt, trying to convince the world that Egypt is perilously unstable, and that only by outsourcing security to the West can it be safe again. When Sisi arrived in the country this week, noted the Times, “Britain openly contradicted the Egyptian leader and suggested that he was not in full control of the Sinai peninsula,” whilst an Egyptian official “commented that the dispatch of six officials to check the security arrangements at Sharm el-Sheikh airport was ‘like treating us as children.’”
Finally, of course, the British government has not missed the opportunity to use the tragedy to push for deeper British involvement in Syria. Michael Fallon, Britain’s Defence Secretary, has been spending the last two days explaining how the case for bombing Syria would be strengthened if it were proven the plane was brought down by ISIS. Quite how more deeply insinuating one of the death squads’ leading state backers into Syria would somehow reduce the power of the death squads is, of course, not explained; such is the nature of imperialism.
In a world, then, where Western power is in steep decline, terrorism is fast becoming one of the last few viable options for extending its hegemony and undermining the rising power of the global South. If this attack does turn out to have been conducted by ISIS, how kind it will have been of them to take it upon themselves to act as the vanguard of Western imperial interests. And how obliging of the hundreds of Western agents in the organization not to do anything to stop them.
That is why the alternative institutions of the BRICS like the New Development Bank and the newly created AIIB are so important. Countries like Egypt must avail themselves of these options if they wish to escape the machinations of the IMF.
Time for Egypt to look East.
No mention of the terrorists overrunning SAA positions at Morek? It wasn’t a catastrophic defeat, but it was significant enough to make the Western press.
http://www.euronews.com/2015/11/06/syria-rebels-capture-strategic-town-of-morek-reports-from-activists/
Turkey will be another Stalingrad before that happens and that is where the Caliphate is located.
Cheers,
RR
Euro news is zio spam. Why is this toss disrupting the site with distracting nonsense?
This is a bit old map but you can see how deep Haddad is in terrorist territory.

“Breaking: Syrian Army and Hezbollah Capture Kafr Haddad in Northeastern Idlib ”
http://www.almasdarnews.com/article/breaking-syrian-army-and-hezbollah-capture-kafr-haddad-in-northeastern-idlib/
Its all a matter of who wants to win.
Yes, these are what I remember reading. Thanks.

Camp Lemonnier in Djibouti is the drone base for US in the region. Not very far.
Could easily have been a missile from a drone. However, missiles leave signatures. No sign of such a strike on the airliner.

UK Passenger Plane Dodged Missile Above Sharm el-Sheikh in August – Reports

The daily fail is full of sensational cr*p and lies, it is MSM media which blamed Putin for MH17, refused to publish – i.e. actively censored pro-Putin and Donbass siding – comments on their reports of it and Ukraine.
And they didn’t announce that to the World? Thus, potentially putting the lives of thousands of civilians at risk. And maybe being a contributor to the deaths of the 224 Russian civilians on the plane that went down.If true, that pretty much should be a cause for serious charges of negligence filed in Russia on that company and British officials involved in the cover-up.

Turkey Goes to War, by Mike Whitney
http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article43348.htm
KR: America, these commanders with raging emotions need your help with more serious weapons, then glass bottles!

THOUGHT EXPERIMENT
In short, you are f***ed, totally fu***ed!
And on top of that: winter is coming.
Not totally. Such a situation would call for adopting an old tradition of my US allies dating from the Vietnam era at least: Time to frag my officer. Then I can bug out without being killed.
Surprise, surprise —
Disinformation super jockey Mike Whitney is calling for a dramatic military escalation by Russia.
TURKEY GOES TO WAR
by Mike Whitney
November 6, 2015
http://www.counterpunch.org/2015/11/06/turkey-goes-to-war/
Wise saying: Beware the AngloZionist liberal who calls for aggressive military action.
November 6, 2015
https://www.rt.com/news/320868-turkey-military-operation-isis/
/joint-statement-final-declaration-on-the-results-of-the-syria-talks-in-vienna-as-agreed-by-participants/
If Turkey is considered Russia’s friend. Then Russia doesn’t need enemies.
Where do I say Turkey is a friend?
“US secret attack plan is part of the Pentagon biological warfare against Syria”:
http://www.elespiadigital.com/index.php/noticias/defensa/11134-ataque-secreto-estadounidense-es-parte-del-plan-de-guerra-biologica-del-pentagono-contra-siria

He emphasized that Iran is currently importing about 28 mcm/d of gas from Turkmenistan, adding that the volume will increase to 30 mcm/d “if Iran faces harsh winter conditions”.
http://www.presstv.ir/Detail/2015/11/07/436666/Turkey-asks-Iran-to-increase-gas-exports
Cold winter coming. Turkish state gas importer is searching for cheap sources which will be sold on to Europe at a significant markup.
Business as usual.
Please note Turkey is loooking to secure greater supplies from Iran and Russia.
Puts a different spin on things.
Dear Saker,

Although opportunist vultures like Gore profit mightily from climate change, this does not mean the science is faulty.
The best question to ask is: ´given the increase of CO2 and the known feedbacks, how is it possible the climate is NOT warming?´

OK, I understand, it is not specific enough about the plane crash. I have posted here, because I wanted to explain the broader background of the current conflict. We need to handle this accordingly. I will contact Saker directly.

Your reply to Rootman is there under my comment.
