I am never going to understand (and certainly never accept) the Syrian governments unwillingness to use “diplomatic” (at least) means against states promoting aggression against it. Today,of all countries ,little Norway’s parliament “approved” the sending of troops to Syria. The Syrian government should publicly say that “we thank the Norwegians for thinking of us.But since we never asked for their help.Any sending of troops onto our sovereign soil would be an act of war against the Syrian Arab Republic. And our parliament would then be forced to approve the sending of Syrian troops to Norway in reprisal”. The exact same response should go out to the other NATO aggressor states against Syria. The weakness of the responses to aggression is the direct cause of more and more aggression by bullies. And if Syria (and Russia) intends to survive, that weakness “must” be stopped. And stopped soon.
Well meaning comments, Uncle Bob, but not applicable at this time. Here is why:
– Syria is learning fast from RF not only about new military strategy and tactics but
also about how much integrated diplomacy is with military thinking. Does RF
react diplomatically against silly moves by nato countries on its borders? Ask
yourself what is the point?
– Syria is dramatically weakened after 4.5 years of destruction, yet just started to
recover, reorganize. She may not have the strength and means at this point to
cover all weak links. No need to spread thin right now.
That is apples and oranges. I don’t recall Russia allowing foreign troops to enter their country ,even during the Chechen War. They don’t even allow foreign troops to interfere in Donbass. Allowing foreign troops (especially from enemy countries) to enter your country is a “sure sign” of your collapse as a state taking place.Whether the Syrians and Russians are aware of that I can’t say. But you can count on the fact that the US and NATO are very aware of that.
Syria should get more Iranian help. Iran has the numbers (manpower) to help Syria deal with this constant barrage of foreign and foreign-supported militants and terrorists.
Iranian soldiers should work side-by-side with their Syrian counterparts. The Syrian army appears to be stretched thin in certain places and there was a recent massacre of Syrian soldiers who were left stranded.
RT tworldsapart Oksana Boyko interviews founring prinipal of Paris school of international afdairs re Syria what is situation now, where should/should this go………seems to be a reasonable exchange…..fairly switched on with whaat is happening eg slow political decision making procrastination fro USA only strengthens ISIS etc…..
My military guru just emailed that Putin does not have many good options at this point and that maybe the US Deep Staters have some plan to influence the Russian elections –therefore all the muscle posturing, running up and down the borders of Russia with tanks and such with NATO.

Isn’t this part of the, one may call it “excessive”, ideological weakness of all those, who do not succumb to US-rule?
Perhaps this silence has something to do with the general silence of those “who do the work”?
All media production is dominated by “minorities”.
