Lavrov for close to an hour press conference this morning at the UNSC.
Awesome. He is without doubt a diplomat of monumental authenticity, skill, intellect and without any peer.
Russian should grant him some heroic reward, perhaps name an institute for the study of international affairs in his honor. Bring students and researchers from all over the world to learn and study how diplomacy, public relations, communications and leadership should be done.
Lavrov at BBC journalist after being asked about targerting civilians etc …” do you know something I don’t know?”
And continued with referring to false claims made about situation in Ukraine….bravo Lavrov
Clandestine American-led interventions have fuelled the explosion in terror networks across the Middle East, Central Asia and Africa. Yet amid this American legacy of international violence, Obama was charged with painting a rose-tinted view of the world that was breath-taking in its distortion and absurdity.
I find it hard to believe that Obama cannot see the truth, and I actually think that his speech was written with a purpose: to make it clear to the world the absurdity of what has been said by the US neocons and the Western MSM for over a decade. If Obama ever wanted to change the US but was not allowed (and this is possible), then this may have been his most sweet revenge, as the whole world could clearly understand the madness of the whole thing. This speech will certainly be registered in history as the epitome of the US empire ideology in its dying days: a complete distortion of reality (I think that The German Ideology is Marx best work concerning this issue).
BBC reports syrian opposition claiming they have been targeted…Reuters says an insurgent alliance supported by USA arab states,Turkey
.yes of course the oposition would say that….they did the chlorine bombs didn’t they?
Reuters is reporting hundreds of Iranians trops are joining Assad….joining Hizbollah allies…..russia bombs groups trained by CIA…….Lavrov says w are polite people as you know…..we don’t come if we are not invited….kind of also infers that if Iraq asks they will go there too as Iraq continues to state USA co-alition has been ineffctive and not suported Iraq forces, lack of equipment despite Iraq bemoaning the situation.
Russian’s have just simply bombed the guns and ammunition supply warehouses /there were no civilians at all, it was done during the night /established by the USA to support the Syrian opposition and ISIS. Now they are upset, because it will be no money pay for the guns and no guns available for the mad people.
Simple as it is
well, er… after the vast stupidities, contempt and anti-european strategies of the
wasghinton elite and military security complex falling heavy on european backs, from 2013 to this date what are the EU citizens still waiting for?
The empire bosses did simply this:
>> help them straight to destroy Lybia
>>attack russia, sanction Moscow and receive the Russian
backlash
>>invite them to nazify Ukraine
>> force Berlin and Paris to accept the humiliation of the Minsk agreements to avoid US losing face in the Ukraine…
>> join the anti-syrian terrorists
>>devalue and flat down their currencies
>> push millions refugees into european borders…
and what else missing?
After all this perimplum of misery and shame, one hopes the europeans will stand up for their own interests.
EU citizenry, just as their counterparts in the Land of Oz across the sea, are too in love with their fat life styles, made possible by centuries of exploitation of the people and nations of the developing world, to make too much of a fuss. When they, as we in Oz, accept this fact and assume the proper shame and guilt en masse, then we all may band together as fellow world citizens and act against empire; rather than being shameless facilitators. We live as we do on the backs of those we exploit. Possibily we can stand-up for their interests as we stand for our own?
I agree with you. The people of the advanced countries/economies are comfortable now, have forgotten (or never learned) about their ancestors struggles, and for this reason lost the perspective of reality… But, as there have been many changes, and imperialism cannot continue expanding because Russia and China are strong enough to say NO!, capital is gradually moving back to the countries of origin and will erode their own ‘development’… Then, their people will finnaly raise – when the objective conditions for their struggle are set, that is, when their benefits are taken from them.
When you see that fake left Syriza is reelected after a major betrayal..portugal will vote this sunday..and yes they will vote for the conservative(right)who destroyed their country…spain will follow in dec, do not expect anything from another fake left podemos, PP and or PSOE (pro EU) will win and form a pro EU coalition if necessary…then on next march in Ireland with their fake recovery based on fiscal dumping and money laundering the sheeps will vote for the same…banksters
Le Pen has no chance in 2017(fake opposition as well),sarkozy pro natozio will be back.. maybe
Italy as there is just one pro EU pro EURO party left(renzi)
there will be no brexit it is just another joke
they will print more euros,dollars whatever QE 4 QE5 QE 154 etc…zero interest rate,zero growth,mass unemployment or fake numbers(US/UK)bubles everywhere(stocks,real estate)…
war is their only option left
Brazil update:not in the headlines but the banksters and the fith column won today, Roussef did not resign and avoid impeachment but has to change almost all ministers and gave them to an anti BRICS right party..ok she will stay in power but just as another puppet.
I would not be surprised to see Brazil announce soon that they are leaving the BRICS.
The ‘real’ collapsed(thanks to soros attacks),inflation is approaching 15 pct, the country is in deep shit.
She can not be reelected in 2018 and Lula will face justice.
Forget the B of BRICS…
Maybe time to invite argentina for..ARICS?
But argentina is a second level player
They are also attacking Chile(left)..three woman and from the ‘left’ not possible any longer for Washington
Ecuador and Venezuela/Bolivia/Uruguay are also on their regime change list
World dictatorship and world fascism is coming my friends
Very suspicious once more that this sudden “activity” on all fronts (except Iran vs S.A., & /or Iran vs Israhole) after 18 months of nothing seems absolutely timed as cover to an oncoming financial event far bigger than that notorious ‘Lehman moment’ of Sept 15/2008 when they went POOF!
BONUS: Once again, they get to blame the Germans & get away scot-free.!
This writer has it right–a very key clear warning is mass layoffs at the financial firm mere months before it implodes, in this case DB axeing 25%!
When big banks start getting into serious trouble, this is what they do. They start getting rid of staff. That is why the massive job cuts that Deutsche Bank just announced are so troubling…
Guys like Jim Willie have been calling Deutsche &/or JPM &/or MS as the 2 or 3 top candidates worldwide for a few years now.
So take this in the spirit of the late great Yogi Bear who said (or was BooBoo the real brain?):

A Saudi prince says 80 percent of the royal family support his call for a palace coup d’état against Saudi Arabia’s ruler, Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, along with his two anointed successors.
“It is best for the country for King Salman to step down as well. We cannot take sick people in top leadership,” the grandson of Abdulaziz Ibn Saud, the state’s founder, told Britain’s The Times daily.
Nothing would spell KAOS more than a coup, coinciding with this touted Persian army marching across the breadth of the desert sands to Mecca, which is on the far side.
Probably outside forces supporting the dissident faction. US? Israel? Objective: Cancel the friendly talks w Russia about raising oil prices via quotas. Also that nuke power plant contract w Russia.
Iran’s Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization says the number of Iranian pilgrims killed in the recent crush in Mina near Saudi Arabia’s Mecca has risen to 464.
The organization announced the latest death toll – almost double the previously released figure – in a statement on Thursday, adding that 14 Iranian pilgrims were still receiving treatment in Saudi hospitals.
The statement also said that, seven days after the deadly crush in Mina, the state of those injured in the incident has been “completely determined.”
LOL, so funny:
Pentagon: “er, we don’t know where our trained syrian fighters are”
Russia started bombing and all of a sudden:
MadCain: “Aahhhh, the Russians killed our trained rebels!!!”
Er, what? I thought you dont know where your fighters went ????

If Russia wants complete security for its forces and airbases in Syria, it must secure Jisr Al-Shughoor. And so, Syria’s National Security Adviser, Gen. Ali Mamlook, flew to Moscow on June 29, 2015 and met with his counterparts in the Russian Defense Ministry and the Kremlin. In September, Gen. Qaasim Sulaymaani traveled to Moscow to further shore up an agreement that would envision the arrival of Russian forces and materiel to Syria in order to finish off ISIS, Alqaeda/Nusra and the U.S. conspiracy. Why is Jisr Al-Shughoor important? Look at the map and see how it sits directly in the center of Syria’s huge agricultural valley called the Waadi Al-Ghaab. Look at how it is situated on the road which rises to the west all the way up the mountains and bypasses a large number of villages only to finally give terrorists an unobstructed view across the serene coastal mountains with trajectories capable of striking Russian military assets. This is the conduit for Turk terrorism and it must be neutralized.
Prepare for a blizzard of panicked propaganda & hysterical BS flying thicker than any Russian blizzard!

It came as Moscow claimed to have attacked 12 ISIS targets including a command centre in Hama and ammunition depots in Idlib on the second day of the aerial campaign.
The daily mail newspaper is VERY definitely NOT a reliable source! Do NOT trust it, it is part of the lying Western propaganda, and in particular, has been very anti-Putin AND against the Donbass people, with its continual criticisms, attacks, lies and slurs on the DPR/LPR.
The Daily Mail is often called the ‘Daily Blackshirt” in reference to the paper’s support of Oswald Mosley’s British Union of Fascists and it’s blackshirted thugs in the 1930’s
Russia has annual conscripting (draft) and has nothing to do with Syria or Uraine or whatever. About the same number of conscripts finishes the military service and goes home at the same time.

Interesting article about Iraq and Russia on Fort Russ:
“Iraq: if Russia offers; Russia: if Iraq asks…we’ll bomb it too”
Baghdad welcomes the expansion of Russian operations in Syria to Iraq
George Peremitin
Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi said that he “would welcome” Russian air force strikes on positions of “Islamic state” in Iraq. Russia will consider Iraq’s request for help, if it comes officially.
In an interview with channel France 24, al-Abadi said that he would welcome Russian air force strikes on positions of “Islamic state” in Iraq, but so far there have been no such offers from Moscow.
“Not yet,” he said, answering the question, if the possibility of strikes in his country was discussed with Russia.
“This is an opportunity. If we receive an offer from Russia of [military assistance], we will consider it, and I would welcome it,” – said the Iraqi Premier. He also said that Baghdad has already received “a large volume of information” from Syria on the Islamic state (a terrorist organization banned in Russia).
According to the Prime Minister of Iraq, information also comes from Russia.
The Russian Foreign Ministry stated that Russia will consider the possibility of air operations in Iraq if the Iraqi authorities request it. “If we will have an appropriate request from the government of Iraq or a Security Council resolution, which depends on the will of the government of Iraq. With these sufficient reasons political and military expediency will be evaluated”, — RIA Novosti quotes Director of the Department of New challenges and Threats of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Ilya Rogachev.
On September 30th, the first day of operation of Russia in Syria, one senior senator stated to RBC that “if the situation so requires”, the area of operation can be extended.
As announced on September 30th, the chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs, Konstantin Kosachev, the appeal of President Vladimir Putin to the Federation Council on the use of force abroad did not state the country on purpose. “It states that the Armed forces of the Russian Federation will be used outside the Russian Federation, given the fact that the operational environment may require different options,” — said Kosachev. According to him, “to try to solve the problem of ISIS in any one segment is not possible, understanding that those chased by the Syrians with our help, can crawl beyond some sort of virtual border, recover, recharge and to undergo treatment” (quoted by Interfax). http://fortruss.blogspot.com/2015/10/iraq-if-russia-offers-russia-if-iraq.html
The only problem I see here is,I doubt Russia will ask. They want the Iraqis to ask them. And I’m not sure who has more power in Iraq right now.Do the Iranians (in which case they will ask),or does the US (in which case they won’t ask).Since many in the Iraqi government are Shia and close to Iran, they may have the most power. But since the US has control of a lot of the weapons, and trainers/advisers there. They may have the most power.I think if we see them ask for Russia’s aid,we’ll know the answer to that question.
Looks like the Russians aren’t wasting anytime in taking out terrorist logistics etc. Funny how one group went back and tried to re-establish a command point and the Russians just came back and destroyed it again.
As Lavrov said at the end of his press conference today to journalists – tell the truth.
Wonder how the Normandy format will go tomorrow in Paris in regard to Ukraine.
The Normandy 4 will go badly for Porky. Putin has Porky in a vise. The President of Russia will keep in his mind the children, crippled and killed. But he met with some of the crippled ones in Russian hospital.
He will not forgive the war crimes.
And the two EU dunces attending will be wearing Depends to soak the wet between their legs as Putin scares the hell out of all of them.
They see the strikes in Syria. They know well he can unleash Russian hell on the Ukies, and they want to get back to normal.
His Syria actions open the door for them to move out of bondage on this issue of Ukraine. The US shows how weak it is in the Middle East.
It is war or peace in the near abroad. Does Merkel really want war? Does Hollande risk all by standing with the US on Kiev?
Each efficient and strong (and well videoed) airstrike in Syria.Showing blasted and destroyed ISIS targets must make the EU (especially Berlin) think of the Soviet “storm” that erupted on them the last time they warred against Russia.I suspect that is a side benefit of the Russians putting out the videos we are seeing. It might wake them up a bit and think, “oops, that could be us under those bombs”.
Red Ryder,
you are spot on with the behaviour of EU cats (Germany, france who appear as tigers).
But I feel, US Anglo-American-Zionists will still try their best to ‘utilize’ the Nazi Ukrainian thugs to foment a real war in Eurasia pitting Russia against west European countries.
hopefully Poro’s claim that authorisation by Rus parliament that military can be used abroad has fatally undermined and collapsed Minsk, “will be shot down in flames’——-ooohhh terrible play on words there.

BTW , is the Turkish based Turkmen Syrian Group who claimed being targeted in Syria, also footage on the BBC too,one of those ‘other’ terrorist groups……just wonder how many groups there are……….

To get back to Eastern Europe for a minute. Here is an video from a Polish rap artist hating on the Ukrainians (powerful, with Eng Subs).I think the Poles, the people at least, (while not pro-Russian by any means) may not be thrilled about their new bandera neighbors in Ukraine:
I think that band is one of the anti-government right wing youth bands. They seem to be fairly popular among youth in Poland.I’m not sure, but I doubt they are pro-Russian at all.But I’m only interested in them because I think that represents the “real” Polish youths feeling about Ukraine. And I think there is no doubt from that video about how they feel about the bandera crowd .You should see one they did about their own government, ouch.
And also Uncle Bob, I have a couple of good friends here where I live, that are Poles..born and raised there….and they have no grudge, no problem with Putin or Russia…they’re all Slavs….
TEHRAN (FNA)- ISIL positions in Eastern Aleppo countryside came under blitzkrieg by the Syria air force, reports said on Thursday, adding that the bombings were staged in 30 sorties of flights over the militant-held regions near Kuweires Military Airport.
Reports from Aleppo said the Syrian fighter jets conducted over 30 airstrikes on ISIL positions in Deir Hafer Plains.
Sources said similar intense bombings of ISIL-held areas in Eastern Aleppo have been underway for the last several days, but the Thursday air offensives “proved extremely effective for the Syrian Army as they helped the ground troops advance towards the besieged Kuweires Military Airport”. http://english.farsnews.com/newstext.aspx?nn=13940710000004

Romney further said that he prefers Obama’s predecessor, George W. Bush, because “he at least believed that America should be a leader.”
Obama defeated Romney in the 2012 US presidential election and became president for a second 4 year term.
Romney also referred to Democratic presidential contender and former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s proposed strategy of training and arming so-called “moderate” militants in Syria to oust President Bashar al-Assad.
Iran says it will showcase its most attractive oil and gas projects to investors in a conference in capital Tehran later this month.
Rokneddin Javadi, the managing director of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC), said on Thursday that the conference – which will be held from 19-21 October – will feature a large number of new projects.
“During the conference…one of our goals is to introduce potentials of Iranian private sector and connect them to foreign partners so they can cooperate in upcoming oil and energy projects,” Javadi said.
Do you know the difference between the “moderate” anti-Assad terrorists and the ISIS.The ISIS like to be-head people. While the moderates don’t be-head.Now they might eat a liver or two,but no be-heading.

i posted yesterday from anna-news-it is most important to bomb, flood with water and gasoline tunnels that ISIS likes to dig, use, store stuff in , hide in etc etc, perhaps excavators also used for this purpose
ah here it is again…
“Himself to dig underground hldy messages between houses and, certainly, around each house at a certain depth. This allows a soldier to avoid penetration of the CAA in the basement of his building of terrorists, and establish wiretapping of underground works. The most effective methods of destruction of the enemy is counter underground explosions in tunnels and pumping of water with the gasoline.”

Judging by comments here and other sites everyone thinks Russia should kick US planes out of Syrian airspace.
The old saying “keep your enemies closer” is important here. Less chance of the CIA “moderates” acquiring serious AA kit.
And they are right when they state; ‘Hundreds of anti-ISIS sorties over a year by coalition planes didn’t draw a fraction of the attention of a Russian airstrike near Homs in northern Syria on Wednesday.’
Unbelievable. Even three weeks after the Russians sneaked into Latakia to assist Assad in defending Syria from foreign mercenary armies with idiotic CIA-names like “Islamic State”, the West led by the empty White House is still in paralysis, flabbergasted, unable to form even a single coherent statement about the new situation. Unbelievable.
Meanwhile, the Red Army has center stage and displays to the whole world how a modern, well organized, state-of-art army goes about its work. No throat-slasher videos and other sickening media stunts, but sparse press reports about pin-point air strikes against commando-centers, munitions depots, training facilities, supley lines, communications installation, fuel depots. Almost old-fashioned. Yet strangely reassuring. What a breath of fresh air. What a relief!
UN to Let Saudis Investigate Themselves on Yemen War Crimes –
On Sunday, Saudi helicopters attacked a north Yemeni village, killing 30 civilians. The next day they attacked a wedding party in the southwest, killing another 131 civilians. Two such high-profile incidents amid the UN General Assembly meeting seemed to ensure that UN Human Rights Council calls for an inquiry into civilian deaths in Yemen would get through. Incredibly, they didn’t.
Instead, Saudi Arabia started complaining about the idea, and the UN let the matter drop, with the US (sic) and several other Western nations that initially signaled support for a resolution on an inquiry, proposed by the Netherlands, jumping ship and backing a competing Saudi text.
If there are any doubts left as to just which side the US led “coalition” is on, today in Reuters :
“Turkey, coalition partners, call on Russia to cease Syria air strikes
Turkey and its partners in the U.S.-led coalition against Islamic State called on Russia on Friday to cease its attacks on the Syrian opposition and focus on fighting Islamist militants, expressing “deep concern” over Moscow’s air strikes”.
I will bet they are concerned alright, their cut throat psycho mercenaries are finally getting a good pasting from real bombs falling on them for real this time. It further goes on :
“In a joint statement with the United States, Britain, France, Germany and Gulf Arab allies, Turkey said Russia’s actions constituted a “further escalation” of the conflict and would only fuel more extremism.
“We express our deep concern with regard to the Russian military build-up in Syria and especially the attacks by the Russian Air Force on Hama, Homs and Idlib since yesterday which led to civilian casualties and did not target Daesh,”
Back to front upside down convoluted logic if ever there was one. Of course the “good rebels” that America trains are all “moderates” (what a sick joke), same way that all the islamist nutters killed by Assads forces automatically turn into “innocent civilians” when reported in western MSM. America and the west has been training and arming fighters against the Assad government for years, right from the word go, never mind the recent pantomime we saw on MSM where they are saying only 4 fighters trained by the US are still fighting in Syria, this is just a pure distraction and red herring for a gullible public.
What has happened to the tens of thousands armed, trained and funded “rebels” sent into Syria by America and its puppet states ? That’s right, ISIS. President Putins actions in Syria has now plunged the satanic coalition of the damned into disarray and fumbling around how best to react to developments. President Putin is now forcing them to drop the mask and show their true face as they now have only two choices left : come out in open support of their satanic proxies and openly confront Russian forces (they haven’t got the balls to do that), or carry on their pretence of “fighting” ISIS while continuing whining on about Russian strikes on their jihadi proxies in the MSM.
Lavrov sad in the most recent UN press conference they don’t count Syrian Free Army as terrorist (he was otherwise outstanding but seemed kind of baffled with this question, as if it was not clear why that is relevant). Does someone here know of a recent map or a reliable text which explains number of them at present and the territory they hold? Thank you!
You can get that map in Baghdad where the air strikes are coordinated.
Or call 1 800-dedisis and talk to them.
No wonder you use Anonymous as your Commenter’s Name.
Lavrov baffled?
Ease up on the doobies.
Lavrov isn’t baffled about anything on the planet, Anonymous.
The Free Syrian Army is the token “moderate” group which is mostly in exile and needed to front the “democratic opposition” in the settlement which will be dictated by Putin when the shooting ends. That is their relevance.
They are the Westernized tools of the Hegemon. They could never win an election and would sell out the nation. Sort of like the junta in Kiev, but a bit less nazi.
Thanks for the info number and the humor. No need to be hostile however. It was not unknown to me what they are, I was just wondering do they hold any part of the territory and how many solders they have if indeed they do. Sorry that irritated you.
They seem to be the most “moderate” of the anti-Assad groups. They have now, from what I hear (or don’t hear,no one reports on them anymore),few fighters. Most of the most radical ones left them for the other terrorist groups.I suspect that Assad and Putin are counting on them as part of the ” opposition” to bring to the peace talks.Since in the past they were well known in the West.Getting them into the peace talks would look good in the West. And because they are so weak now, they might just be willing to make a deal with Assad. That way Russia and Assad can have a “diplomatic” victory. And just concentrate on destroying the outright jihadi terrorists. The wildcard here is the US.Do they have enough influence with those “moderates” to kill any deal.Or,is Russia going to be able to bribe…er…I mean convince them, that a deal would be best for them as well as Assad.
Thank you for your time! That was my feeling, that they were talked about a lot at the beginning, maps of their whereabouts were given, but they kind of stoped mentioning them and I took it that they don’t exist any more, in a significant way at least. When I heard the media mention them again I thought maybe I just missed the role the FSA had in the meantime, but all is clear now thanks to your explanation. Kind regards!
“It seems that Russian air strikes have breathed in fighting with troops LIH new strength and new hope. Kurdish armed groups aim at the liberation of the city of Raqqa, which militants LIH declared its capital. As previously announced co-chairman of the party “Democratic Union” Saleh Muslim, for the liberation of the city will be used not less than 25 thousand soldiers.
Kurds are the largest ethnic minority in Syria, accounting for about 9% of the population. LIH conducts policy towards the Kurds “cleansing the territory,” considering that the representatives of the people must either leave the territory of Syria and Iraq, or perish. Information sources have already reported cases of LIH (against the Kurds) chemical weapons.” http://www.anna-news.info/node/44176

“Ukrainian soldiers flee to DPR, tell what happens to military who disagree with Kiev junta”
Two Ukrainian army servicemen have fled to Donetsk People’s Republic, according to DPR Deputy Defense Minister Eduard Basurin.
“Two soldiers of the Ukrainian army have fled to DPR in Gorlovka area today,” – he said.
The servicemen tell of numerous attempts of Kiev’s military commanders to violate the Minsk Agreements and launch an offensive on DPR positions.
“Ukrainian army commanders have issued numerous orders to launch an offensive operation in July-August 2015, but due to low morale of soldiers on the front-line and their unwillingness to die the orders were disrupted in different ways,” said the Deputy Defense Minister.
According to Ukrainian servicemen, everyone who openly expressed their disagreement were detained by Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and “their last names were included in the lists of soldiers missing in action.”

Experts predict success of air raids in Syria – Ivan Petrov
“The military reported the first success of the “Syrian” operation – air strikes destroyed a number of important objects of the so-called Islamic state. The bombardment continues, but Russian soldiers will not take part in ground operations, assured at a specially convened briefing, the official representative of the Defense Ministry Igor Konashenkov”
“[..] The President of the Institute of Middle East, Yevgeny Satanovsky believes that Russia has a hundred percent chance of success in the fight against this terrorist group”
“We need to set reasonable and achievable tasks, then they will be achieved. So, I’m sure, in Syria, Russian troops will accomplish all the tasks, after which the operation will be folded or transferred into another format,” – said the expert. Evgeny Satanovsky notes that the coalition led by the United States, in reality, did not aim to combat the Islamists. “Qatar was just supporting the Islamic state, Saudi Arabia has cooperated with Al Qaeda, – said the expert”
“[..] A member of the public council under the Ministry of Defense of Russia Igor Korotchenko, in turn, believes that to completely destroy the military infrastructure of the Islamic state and help the Syrian troops to regain control over territories is possible in 3-6 months“
Iran to Give Saudis Firm Response if Necessary: Military Adviser

ISIL Captures Own Members in Syria before Escaping to Turkey
TEHRAN (FNA)- The radical group of ISIL has arrested some eight members of its own trying to flee to Turkey, activists in the Eastern Syrian province of Deir Ezzur reported disclosed.
“The militants were arrested in the Northern countryside of Deir Ezzur before escaping the province,” media activist Mohammad al-Shami told ARA News.
“After interrogations, the ISIL discovered the suspects’ plan to leave the group and cross into Turkey,” al-Shami quoted an ISIL official as saying.
Five of the arrested militants were reportedly Moroccans and the three others were Tunisians who had joined the ranks of ISIL nearly one year ago.

TEHRAN (FNA)- Governor of Syria’s Hasaka Mohammad Za’al al-Ala underlined the provincial forces’ full preparedness to repel any possible attack by the Takfiri terrorists, and said that the ISIL has been pinned down behind the gates of his province.
“According to the information that the Hasaka province’s security committee has obtained, ISIL is facing a very bad situation,” al-Ala told FNA on Friday.
He reiterated that a large number of the ISIL militants have fled Hasaka to Turkey and from there to Europe.
On Monday, the Kurdish popular forces pushed the ISIL Takfiri terrorists back from their positions near the city of Hasaka.
The ISIL terrorists killed at least 20 ISIL terrorists in the Eastern parts of Hasaka city near the village of Tal al-Saman.

The Pentagon is considering the use of military force against Russia to protect US-trained militants in Syria, a move that could trigger war with America’s arch-rival, a report says.
US authorities quoted by the Associated Press on Thursday, said senior military leaders and defense officials are considering whether or not they should use military force if American-trained militants in Syria come under Russian fire as Moscow continues its air combat against Takfiri groups in the Arab country.
I really think the Russian press should report on that threat (to the Russian people). As for the Russian military, they would of course fight back with full force if attacked. If the US wants to see nuclear strikes inside the US they couldn’t pick a better way to assure that.I doubt that they are “that” stupid. I’ve said all these months,NATO is running a buff with Russia. They have no intention of going to war against a major nuclear superpower. But if they can scare Russia with a buff, they are all for that.Russia needs to pointedly ask them about those words from Carter. And remind them in no uncertain terms what would happen to them if they tried an action like that.

“The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has been the prime source for MSM-aired news from the Syrian battlefield. But how much does one truly know about this UK-based organization and its director? Journalist and prankster Nimrod Kamer went to find out.
The organization has been one of the sources for the mainstream media to build their reports on Syria since the start of the civil war four years ago. The organization claims to have a wide network of contacts in the region who feed their information to the head office, where it is processed and later posted on the website, Facebook and Twitter accounts.
Since the start of the Moscow anti-ISIS campaign Russia has started featuring in its reports as well – and it was quickly picked up by major Western media outlets. One of the latest wires from the Observatory that “Russian warplanes [killed] 30 civilians in Homs including women and children” quickly made it into major news sources [..]
“Syrian Observatory for Human Rights” Yeah, sure.. basically some random guy [presumably Syrian, but who knows] posting anti-Russian and anti-Assad made-up nonsense from his apartment somewhere in England.
Btw, this is the caliber of people being given asylum in Europe, a “desperate refugee” no doubt… *eye-roll*
All evil emanates from England and syrian war was alsolotted by the English as revelead by ex French foreign minister Dumas..Time to sort out the real evil England.
A senior US administration official says Russia will not be able to hold out long in Syria with “no future” for Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in the Arab country.
Quoting several administration officials, CNN reported Thursday that no ambiguity remains about Russia’s strategy in Syria. According to the report, President Barack Obama’s administration assessment is that Russia is seeking to take over the airspace in the region and be the agenda-setting force on the ground.
I dont know… I heard of news of chinese ships going to syria for about a week already… for now Iassume somehow big O managed to twist the arms of Xi and made him change his mind…
The Sergey Glazyev’s report is a shocker. What the hell is going on in that Mat Rasiya.
Looks as the same b*****ds, who murdered 64 mil. Russian Christians are running the show. Before they called themselvs Soviets, they never considered themselvs Russians, and now Oligarchs. It still the same beasts and poor Ruskis will end up really badly this time. They will fix them for good and it is they own fault by allowing to control they money, finances by the Mafia swindler. It’s very sad story.
“Six Russian multirole fighter Sukhoi SU-30 SM type have put to flight-type Israeli fighters McDonnell Douglas F-15 off the Syrian coast.
Israeli aircraft flying for months Syrian airspace and especially Naval Air Station Latakia bridgehead of Russian forces in Syria. Israeli aircraft generally follow a fairly complex flight plan and approach Latakia from the sea
“In the night of 1 to 2 October 2015, six Russian Sukhoi SU-30 took off from SM Syrian airbase Hmimim towards Cyprus before intercepting position attack four Israeli F-15 fighters.
Surprised by a situation as unexpected and probably not prepared for a dogfight with one of the best Russian multirole fighter, Israeli pilots have quickly turned back to the south, flying at high speed Lebanon.
“The Lebanese army has officially announced to Z 2313 (local time) that four “enemy aircraft” (Israeli) had crossed the Lebanese airspace.
“This “incident” between Russian and Israeli warplanes struck stupor command of the Israeli Air Force, which held that a possible air battle between the Israeli F-15 and the Russian Su-30 would have led to the destruction of four Israeli aircraft. Israel has strongly protested to Moscow this incident but the Russians demanded an explanation for the presence of Israeli fighter planes full Syrian airspace. This incident indicates that the protection of Syrian airspace is now under the protection of the Russian air force. Causing gnashing of teeth in Washington.
“The incident was ignored by the major news agencies but political and media relay of Israel in the United States, Europe and the Arab world will strengthen efforts to demonize Russian support to the Syrian government: https://strategika51.wordpress.com/2015/10/02/syrie-duel-aerien-entre-des-sukhoi-su-30-sm-russes-et-des-f-15-israeliens/

^ Oh!!!! Let this be true! Please, let this be true!
Because if it is, it’s about time someone sends them to the naughty step, from whence they should never be allowed to get out.
This one has ‘remnant rodents’ in it–sounds like a surprise package at the MickeyD drive-thru!
In Aleppo, 2 Syrian Army units destroyed 2 convoys of weapons coming out of Turkey through the critical arterial town of Al-Baab. The Syrian Army struck hard between Ma’sarat Al-Khaan Village and Al-Madyoona Village. The army strikes were directed away from populated areas giving the lie to some Soros-based propagandists acting out a fantasy about humanitarianism. Soros! You stinking pervert! The jig is up. Your efforts to affect the military policies of the West have failed miserably. Russia has nullified your plans – Mileikowski’s plans – and Obama’s plans. It’s over. Get over it. http://syrianperspective.com/2015/10/west-propaganda-war-intensifies-as-obama-drowns-in-failure-syrian-army-preparing-huge-push-into-hama-province.html
Even in the Empire there are some sober brains “Obama is creating a threat of world war as Russia and China are now in alignment in Syria and both are opposed to U.S. policy. There is a direct confrontation taking place all because U.S. policy is out of its mind and tries to topple what it calls “dictatorships” from Iraq, Libya, and now Syria. There is no alternative replacement and this brain-dead policy dreamed up in Washington has no end game objective.
This is turning into a direct confrontation between the three leading powers in the Middle East. For what purpose? All because Obama and crew did not like Putin? They created Putin by failing to curtail the bankers who tried to take over Russia to get their hands on all the commodities back in 1999. Whether the government was behind the banking objectives or whether it came in after the fact to protect the bankers amounts to the same thing. This is one reason why they have been trying to block “The Forecaster” I took thins transcript from “the forecaster blog” that I been following for a short time. It is exclusively about economics but sometimes he writes interesting theories. Still I would not or have the money to make some big investments I post this just as curious odd stuff.

The two-bedroom Coventry home of Syrian immigrant Rami Abdel Rahman has been the organization’s base and the source of information for major mainstream media on anything Syria-related from the past four years, including the death toll.

Russia should demand an “immediate” explanation for his remarks. And “publicly” state that any actions like that would be considered a full declaration of War between the RF and the US.
A country that has killed tens of millions of people [citizens, ordinary people like you and me] through endless bombing raids on cities and infrastructures alike, should not shed crocodile tears when 5 civilians die at the hands of someone else.
If you look up the word ‘Hypocrisy’ in a dictionary, you’ll find it listed under ‘USA.’
If you’re confronted with that word during and extended game of pictionary, a drawing of Obombi will suffice.
Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al-Muallem says Israel is arming the Takfiri terrorists in Syria and treating the injured militants in its hospitals, criticizing the international community for watching the regime’s actions in silence.
In an address to the 70th session of the UN General Assembly in New York on Friday, Muallem said Israel continues attacking Syria, while the world is standing by and watching the regime arming terrorists and treating them in its hospitals.
UN Jumps Ship: Saudis Reward Their War Crimes in Yemen!
Now the Saudi text, instead, calls for an investigation, but empowers the Saudi-led coalition to conduct that investigation, only calling on the UN to offer support to them only to the extent they request it. This means the warmongers can now investigate themselves on the question of war crimes. We shouldn’t be surprised to hear that all those Saudi claims that well-documented war crimes “didn’t happen” will become the official international narrative – even closing off with a blanket condemnation of the UN for its anti-Saudi view.
Putin sold the Donbass and will also soon sell Assad according to a lot of comments on the internet(not talking about MSM)real activists..alternatives media.
Obama is joking of Putin tonight.Hollande and Merkel are forcing DPR/LPR to cancell the elections in 2015, and when organized in 2016 they will be under full Ukie law(which means no local candidates, only Kiev authorized political parties).
8000+ people died for nothing.
Forget about greater NR….Ukraine is and will remain a de facto NATO country.
And after that defeat they will go for the Crimea…
Sanctions will not be lifted.Never.
Putin only cares about Assad but only to use him against qatari/saudi gaz pipelines plans.
One question remains to be answered:is Putin forced by some black ‘force’ to act this way?Or is he a traitor only interested in money(gazprom)?
Putin left Paris with not a single comment by the back door…which is unusual.
No press conference.Porochenko did one press conf. and was very happy….very strange
Tonight they are once again trying to play the FIFA Blatter/Platini card with all US sponsors(coke,Bud,Visa,Mc Donald’s etc)asking for Blatter to immediately resign.
They want to elect a jordanian prince al hussein….who will do everything possible to cancel the world cup 2018 in Russia…they know Putin loves prestige events,it is a good way to pressure him.
You keep the WC 2018 but no more Assad in exchange.
We save your face for the Donbass but once the border closed…forget it.
Putin will end up loosing everything.
Ruble, inflation, recession, sanctions staying in place, oil price, Donbass lost, no NR, Nazis in Kiev, 3 billions credit not repaid in dec, airlines embargo as of oct 25,Assad lost and maybe(let’s hope not)Russian lifes lost in combat in Syria for nothing,WC Soccer 2018 lost, prestige lost, even Transaero is bankrupted.
Last chance a 180 degrees surprise move:DPR/LPR in RF, full war in Syria and counter offensive for NR and then on to Kiev…
Q; to a lot of comments on the internet(not talking about MSM)real activists..alternatives media.
R; I’m curious; are these the same people/outlets that predicted Russia would ‘annex’ Crimea 1 year ago?
I saw jets take off into the ME sky the other day… and realized, for the first time, they’re not FUKUS, but Russian and nobody predicted that 1 year ago. The rats are being roasted, thus the frogs start whaling wailing and flailing, but the airstrikes now hit that hissing ISIS were it really hurts; command and control centers, weapons depots/caches, means of transportation, tunnels, you name it, and it’s being bombed, attacked and destroyed, for real.
I’ve heard quite a few people tell what the Statesman, Mr. Putin should do, and then you look at the lives those people live and go, “Yeah, right.”
Mr. Putin is playing Russian roulette, in his dealing with that Machiavellian monstrosity, better know as FUKUS, with 3 bullets to the chamber, and you want him to sing “Kumbaya, my Lord.” while he’s at it?
The real danger for Rusdia is if she falls for western Propagnda and tactics to involve Russia in rebutting western false charges and thus wasting time and resourcesrather than winning the war by Any MeNs-thats what matters. Great colum from Finian Cunningham –

You forgot the mauling of VW.

Prior to the “sudden collapse” of Lehman Brothers on September 15th, 2008, there had been media reports of mass layoffs at the firm. To give you just a couple of examples, CNBC reported on this on March 10th, 2008 and the New York Times reported on this on August 28th, 2008.

The area targeted is largely made up of rebel insurgents which, unlike Islamic State, are supported by United States allies such as the Arab states and Turkey.

I think Paris will seal the fate of the junta.
USA asks that elections in Donbass be held off/aborted, France says same…Yats says Rus is now a threat to global security……..
BTW , is the Turkish based Turkmen Syrian Group who claimed being targeted in Syria, also footage on the BBC too,one of those ‘other’ terrorist groups……just wonder how many groups there are……….
Sophie and Co UK this am-interview re Syria with an ex CIA Head of Station middle east…………ok. might be worth posting in the watch box?
To get back to Eastern Europe for a minute. Here is an video from a Polish rap artist hating on the Ukrainians (powerful, with Eng Subs).I think the Poles, the people at least, (while not pro-Russian by any means) may not be thrilled about their new bandera neighbors in Ukraine:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=336&v=OxSfnrh1l8Y
Yeah, that is a powerful rap song. So that’s how Poles really feel about Nazis…good.
Friday there; Aleppo airstrikes ongoing.

Over the past 24 hours, Warren said the coalition has conducted several sorties and executed an airstrike that destroyed two enemy excavators in northwestern Syria.
“Our average has only been eight strikes per day,” he said. “So it was lower than our average but that’s only because these are dynamic targeting processes and there weren’t any targets.”
The idiots are targeting excavators… Unbelievable.
i posted yesterday from anna-news-it is most important to bomb, flood with water and gasoline tunnels that ISIS likes to dig, use, store stuff in , hide in etc etc, perhaps excavators also used for this purpose
ah here it is again…
“Himself to dig underground hldy messages between houses and, certainly, around each house at a certain depth. This allows a soldier to avoid penetration of the CAA in the basement of his building of terrorists, and establish wiretapping of underground works. The most effective methods of destruction of the enemy is counter underground explosions in tunnels and pumping of water with the gasoline.”

@ Peter,
Thanks, man.
Any idea what will happen next?
Q; an airstrike that destroyed two enemy excavators in northwestern Syria.
R; Is this the ‘Your enemy is my friend’ angle + will the ‘trenches’ be dug manually again [grind, grind]?
Judging by comments here and other sites everyone thinks Russia should kick US planes out of Syrian airspace.
The old saying “keep your enemies closer” is important here. Less chance of the CIA “moderates” acquiring serious AA kit.
@ Peter,
According to Haartez;
“As Russia Moves Into Syria, Israel’s Red Line Is Dissolving Before Our Eyes.”

Information sources have already reported cases of LIH (against the Kurds) chemical weapons.”

Interesting article from Novorossia:

How long will the Russian operation last in Syria? Russian expert explains
Rossijskaya Gazeta – Translated by Kristina Rus

Weighing the risks of using force in response to a Russian attack is also among the department’s issues, according to the report.

But I thought the Pentagon said they don’t know where their trained fighters are …
I really think the Russian press should report on that threat (to the Russian people).
Who is behind Syrian Observatory for Human Rights? – Nimrod Kamer investigates for RT

Russia in Syria: When the propaganda is kind of true – Russia bombing ‘U.S.-trained’ nutjobs
Sott.net – Harrison Koehli
http://www.sott.net/article/303070-Russia-in-Syria-When-the-propaganda-is-kind-of-true-Russia-bombing-US-trained-nutjobs
First air incident occurred the night of Oct 1st:
“The incident was ignored by the major news agencies but political and media relay of Israel in the United States, Europe and the Arab world will strengthen efforts to demonize Russian support to the Syrian government:

One of the latest wires from the Observatory that “Russian warplanes [killed] 30 civilians in Homs including women and children” quickly made it into major news sources.
RT decided to investigate who the man behind the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights is and why the media outlet is so popular with MSM.
The two-bedroom Coventry home of Syrian immigrant Rami Abdel Rahman has been the organization’s base and the source of information for major mainstream media on anything Syria-related from the past four years, including the death toll.
“I am not a media organization. I work from my home, my private home.”, said Rami Abdel Rahman.

… So, this looks very fishy!

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights is a Propaganda Front funded by the EU, according to Tony Cartalucci :

Just shoot russian planes down, says this psychopath:
http://fortruss.blogspot.ca/2015/10/senator-tom-cotton-us-should-shoot-down.html

But the cost would be too high.

The rats are being roasted, thus the frogs start
whalingwailing and flailing, but the airstrikes now hit that hissing ISIS were it really hurts; command and control centers, weapons depots/caches, means of transportation, tunnels, you name it, and it’s being bombed, attacked and destroyed, for real.I’ve heard quite a few people tell what the Statesman, Mr.
Rusdi an victory in syrian thetre eill kill Anglo empire th at is why the evil dnglisgh and Americans will trybesg to sabotage it.
Rusdia must not try to bother with western liesand not waste time on abswering them Russia must concentrate on killing as many englisgh and American terrorirusa and Cia trained terrorists as possible and win the war.
We are all with you Russia, hoping you succeed fast.
I know that i am off the subject, but could anyone tell me WHY so much silence from the militia in Donbass? I do not think the ukros are withdrawing heavy equipment: Russia should be aware that they may start attacking Novorossya.
OT
A question for those of you with legal backgrounds;
Can Mr. Putin sue those who call him [or compare him to] Reichskanzler Adolf Hitler [libel or slander]?
Thanks in advance.
