Oregon shooter linked to military. Father abandoned Chris Harper Mercer at birth but is now calling for gun control. Mass shooters stopped by citizens carrying weapons not talked about in corporate media. Kiev begins withdrawal of weapons as Ukraine receives new defense weapons from the US. Russia ready to speak to the FSA but they just vanished. If necessary Russia will close the ports and setup a no-fly zone, at this point they do not believe it is necessary. US now backed into a corner, losing the propaganda war in Syria, will resort to a false flag event.

Hmm. I rather tend to distrust anything emanating from the US department of defence. These are the very same press releases of sorties we have been reading for well over a year now with no independent verification or results.
I would actually like someone independent of the “coalition” to confirm that they are indeed still flying in the skies above Syria. Somehow I don’t think they are at the moment.
The US DoD site will be reasonably accurate as far as number of strikes ect. I have read in Russian news that the two sides are working on some agreement to avoid “conflict” in syria.

Video-conference between the military of Russia and the USA took place on 1 October at the initiative of the American side. As stated in the Pentagon, the talks were focused on the actions of the crews of the air force over Syria in order to avoid risks during flights. According to the Deputy head of the defense Ministry Anatoly Antonov, the conversation lasted about an hour and had been constructive.
Tuesday Antonov said that the Americans handed over the document which the Russian side is working. Antonov added that the General staff this document “in principle, received the support of”, we are working on it. He noted that, “unfortunately, Americans are still driving our engagement only to the technical issues of cooperation between our pilots during the execution of the respective missions”.
re: Russian Chain of accountability. this article translated by Ft. Russ is very ruthless in its analysis and this is what is required vis a vis the deliberate bombing of the hospital in Kunduz. Confusion in political goals is no excuse for evil acts. This strike was called in by CIA death squad leader ( 100 CIA honchos leading a squad of 10 Afghanis can do a lot of evil—1,000X worth)
The lunatic Brzezinski wants to start WW3 with Russia. In ICH carries an article :
Brzezinski: Obama Should Retaliate If Russia Doesn’t Stop Attacking U.S. Assets
“The Russian naval and air presences in Syria are vulnerable, isolated geographically from their homeland,” Brzezinski noted. “They could be ‘disarmed’ if they persist in provoking the US.”
You can tell president Putin is really hitting them where it hurts and the evil morons are utterly befuddled as to how to react and don’t have the brains, foresight nor the intelligence to come up with a strategy to counter president Putins moves.
The evident danger is that the psychopaths are so up their own collective backsides with hubris that someone is going to end up overstepping the mark and making a deadly mistake that is going to plunge the entire world into an inferno, as is evident from the senile ramblings of this geriatric buffoon. Its always the impotent old men who send the young ones off to die for their twisted fantasies and ambitions.
The Russian naval and air presences in Syria are vulnerable, isolated geographically from their homeland,” Brzezinski noted. Like the US forces aren’t ?
and obviously the 26 cruise missiles in the Caspian sea are a little closer to home….so VP has made his point here….we can reach a long long way………!
BTW
“Russia and the United States have a common interest in the fight against terrorism “Islamic state”, but NATO will not share the information security services due to different points of view regarding the Syrian President Bashar Assad – said the US permanent representative to NATO Pour Douglas.”
In one of the recent threads there was a long discussion about monetary systems. This comment may seem off topic but underlying all the war going on is a battle over economic systems and the drive made by the Outlaw Empire to have every nation submit to its particular system. Recently, Dr. Michael Hudson has published an excellent book Killing The Host that deals with THE contemporary economic issue. In support of his book, Dr. Hudson’s doing interviews, and was asked in this one to explain some basic economic terms in plain English, not econspeak. In the process, he makes this extremely important observation:
“To put the concept of economic rent in perspective, I should point out when I went to get my PhD over a half a century ago, every university offering a graduate economics degree taught the history of economic thought. That has now been erased from the curriculum. People get mathematics instead, so they’re unexposed to the concept of economic rent as unearned income. It’s a concept that has been turned on its head by “free market” ideologues who use “rent seeking” mainly to characterize government bureaucrats taxing the private sector to enhance their authority – not free lunchers seeking to untax their unearned income. Or, neoclassical economists define rent as “imperfect competition” (as if their myth of “perfect competition” really existed) stemming from “insufficient knowledge of the market,” patents and so forth.” [My emphasis.] http://michael-hudson.com/2015/10/rewriting-economic-thought/
In one of Scott’s Sitrep’s awhile back, he mentioned the infiltration of profs teaching Chicago School econ at Moscow State University in order to subvert Russia via academia. Hudson and others have proven and detailed how this overthrow of Classical Economics occurred and its enormous pitfalls. This interview and his newest book help to understand all that. Indeed, one could go to Hudson’s website, read all his essays, watch his interviews, and learn more than what a person with an MA in economics knows.
I minored in economics and lo and behold, my tea leaves reading aunt, on my mom’s side, is better at predicting Malthusian volatileness than I’ll ever be.
There is no longer an ‘economic role model.’ Today there are only ‘major players’ and it’s obvious what they’re after.
Thanks for your reply Daniel. I, too, minored in econ, and was fortunate to get the old school education. I read Hudson’s Superimperialism long ago in the early 1980’s along with Friendly fascism., and Chomsky, too, and became a student of the US Empire–its history and all its components. I was 8 when JFK was killed and read the Warren Report whitewash cover-up as soon as it was published. So I’ve known about the Outlaw Empire’s nature for awhile. I think a very important series of negotiations are happening now about how to regulate battlefield droids of the sort we’ve all seen in Star Wars as well as the ongoing debate over Artificial Intelligence. I know the Outlaw Empire will definitely utilize such battle-droids in place of human infantry just as it has every other despicable weapon-and its used all of them: Bio, Chem and Nuke. Such weapons will be worse than Nukes because they’ll be used. And yes, I know Russia’s working on them too.
I’d say there still is an economic role model–that would be the biosphere because it must live within its constraints as humans will again discover by the end of this century.
Lays out important parts of the recipe for Russian success in Syria. Meanwhile since the US propaganda over ISIS is blown out of the water, and ISIS is morphing into “moderate opposition” before our eyes before it is blown to smithereens or toward Saudi land, it is amusing to see how only a short time ago the script seemed so settled:
Leon Panetta predicts a thirty-year war against ISIS. (The link was originally in Syrian Perspective blog.) The US strategy to destroy Russia is blocked, right here and now, in Syria.
US consciences seem to be uneasy, since they have changed their story four times now, looking for a lie that people will swallow. But Médecins Sans Frontières aren’t the usual brown people you can ignore—they are Western, articulate, and white.
Presumably, tomorrow we’ll get a different general, with lots of useless ribbons on his chest with a fifth version of the story blaming some insurgency group called doctors without borders?
The US can alter its story all it likes, it just makes it worse – The bottom line is, they are responsible for the bombing and they knew a hospital was there….That’s real classy, America. Keep it up.
Yankee war criminals, it’s the incompetence, dishonesty, and sanctimoniousness that makes them truly unbearable. What else can one expect from a genocidal slave state that was Europe’s dustbin for over two hundred years.
I also wonder what Intel the MSF might have acquire during the course of their work that might compromise the official US line in Afghanistan.
I wonder too if it is a message to the organization to keep schtum on any info obtained anywhere they operate? That they keep tight political control over their personnel?
TEHRAN (FNA)- Head of Iraq’s Badr Organization Hadi al-Ameri underlined that his country has asked for Moscow’s assistance in the ongoing war on Takfiri terrorists after it saw a serious lack of resolve on the part of the US-led coalition to fight ISIL.
“Baghdad turned to Russia after it witnessed lack of seriousness of the US-led coalition in the fight against the Takfiri terrorist group,” the Arabic-language Al-Horra TV channel quoted al-Ameri as saying on Tuesday.
The top commander of the Iraqi popular forces, meantime, blasted the western media for supporting the ISIL, and said, “There will be a decisive battle against the ISIL in the coming days which will change the military equations in the region.”
On Monday, a spokesman for Iraqi popular forces announced that the Iraqi forces are advancing in different battlefronts against the Takfiri terrorists as the Arab country has formed a quadrilateral front against the ISIL with Iran, Russia and Syria.
With the start of military operations by the quadrilateral coalition comprising Iraq, Iran, Russia and Syria against terrorism we will witness intensified military operations of the joint forces in all fronts in the coming days,” Ahmed al-Assadi told FNA.
Does anyone have any updates on whatever happened to the Chinese naval forces that were rumored to be heading to Syria to support the anti-terror operation?
Not really sure what is happening with the Chinese to be honest. In president Assads interview given to the Iranian TV channel he did say there was a contingent of Chinese Military at Latakia I believe but he did say they were not taking any part in the offensive against ISIS. He didn’t say what size the contingent was nor what they were doing there so its anybodys guess.
I wish the Chinese would get off the fence and actively join in the action as this concerns them too. I know they are backing president Putin 100% but it would be nice as a gesture to send also maybe a few planes. Oh well.
Hmmm,I may have been wrong on the video being “nice”.I’m not sure about it now.I’m beginning to wonder if it really wasn’t a US or anti-Putin group that made it.Putin doesn’t seem to like the idea of a “cult of personality”.And that video screams “cult of personality” to the rooftop.I admired the cute kids, and excellence in production and thought at first maybe it was a Putin supporter that produced it.And they just had bad taste. But the song is bad, more fitting for a dictatorship than for Putin. So it might have been made to deliberately make him look bad.The person posting it seems from his statements, to not be a Putin supporter. The comments on the video are mixed. Some like it because they like Putin. But a lot of them say it “proves” he is trying to act like Stalin. So I’m leaning towards it being a “psych-ops” by some anti-Putin people. The kids are probably just hired extra’s who I doubt had any idea about that. They and their parents probably thought it was a legitimate tribute video (which of course is possible, but unlikely).
Again. Fantastic work by South Front. Presenting in three minutes more easy-to-understand, level-headed information on the situation in Syria than all MSM taken together. Go figure.
According to Western media, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has threatened Russia loss of “friendly relations” because of the political situation around Syria. Erdogan said that Russia “has lost a lot, and Moscow should know about it.” Obviously, the reason for the harsh statements were the bombing of the positions of militants fighting the Syrian government army.
As an excuse – an unintentional violation of airspace by Russian aircraft in Turkey. The Greeks, by the way, writes that Turkish planes regularly fly in their airspace, and it does not cause the slightest excitement (especially in Turkey).
Thus, the president of Turkey has resorted to political blackmail, having clearly in mind the possible closure of the Russian Navy’s Black Sea straits and excitement “of regional separatism” in the Crimea. As in response to such “serves Turkish cuisine geopolitical” Moscow has to offer (?). Much:
1. Russia may stop buying Turkish vegetables and fruit.
2. Russia can minimize construction projects on Russian territory for Turkish business.
3. Russia can not recommend its citizens to relax in the country, on the borders of which are full-fledged war against terrorism.
4. Russia’s political leadership can take care not only for the history of the traditional problems of the Armenians, but also the rights of the Kurds.
5. In terms of military and uncertainties may change the price of gas to Turkish consumers, however, as well as its volume.
Recep Tayyip Erdogan, from hybrid to fight against Bashar al-Assad knew that Bashar Assad is a Russian ally in the region. However, this idea did not stop. Too Turkish President attracted a possible “profit” in the share with our American partners. Now, faced with a new situation, Erdogan picturesquely expresses discontent.” http://www.anna-news.info/node/44429

another perspective though
“In an attempt to analyze who could lend the US a helping hand in its efforts to topple the legitimate president of Syria, The New York Times had to admit that one more of Damascus’s neighbors had to be struck from the list: Turkey, it says, will “do its utmost to avoid any type of confrontation with the Russians.”
However, the US newspaper The New York Times has dispersed all hope.
“Turkey, which from the outset of the war more than four years ago backed rebel groups in the belief that Mr. Assad could be quickly toppled, finds itself powerless to shape events in Syria,” it says
“We don’t have any conflict of interests with Russia over Syria, but Russia must take into consideration our concern over the situation. We are friends and neighbors with Russia, but Turkey cannot ignore security issues of our borders,” Davutoglu told journalists, adding that the Syrian crisis should not become a Russian-Turkish crisis.

MOSCOW, October 6. /TASS/. Russian military in the course of the strategic exercise Center-2015 practiced struggle against Islamic State terrorists and the Taliban, Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu said while summarizing the results of exercises at the National Defense Control Center.
“The 2015 exercise focused on conditions approximating real combat situations to the maximum extent,” he said.
“For this the training of troops simulating a hypothetical enemy was carried out well in advance on the basis of thorough analysis of Islamic State tactics in Syria and Iraq and also the Taliban in Afghanistan,” he said.
This year’s largest exercise Center-2015 was held in Russia on September 14-20, with 95,000 troops, 7,000 pieces of military equipment, 170 planes and 20 naval ships taking part.
Baghdad, Russia’s ally in its fight against ISIS, wants Russia to have a bigger role in the anti-terrorist campaign in Iraq than the US and may soon officially request to start airstrikes on its soil, the chairman of Iraqi parliament’s defense committee said.
“We might be forced to ask Russia to launch airstrikes in Iraq soon. I think in the upcoming few days or weeks Iraq will be forced to ask Russia to launch airstrikes and that depends on their success in Syria,” said Hakim al-Zamili, Reuters reported.
“We are seeking to see Russia having a bigger role in Iraq… Yes, definitely a bigger role than the Americans,” Zamili said.
Russia’s Defense Ministry has commented on the urge of Ukrainian Interior Ministry advisor Gerashchenko to submit to him any personal information about Russian pilots operating in Syria so that he may pass it along to ISIL terrorists, suggesting that the politician be appointed to an order of Peter the Great in the name of Judas Iscariot.
Earlier on Tuesday, the advisor to Ukrainian Interior Minister went to the social media, urging readers to submit any personal information on the Russian pilots operating in Syria for further disclosure to the terrorist organization ISIL.
The politician stated that he wanted the rebels to locate the Russian servicemen and to take revenge under Sharia law.

26 cruise missiles launched on Putin’s birthday………….at 11 targets from the Kalibr Marine Base,” Shoigu told Putin in a meeting televised by Rossiya-1 [what a birthday present from a best friend! – FR]
All targets were destroyed, Shoigu said. “The attacks showed that our missiles are efficient at long range, up to 1,500 km [932 miles],” he added.
President Putin expressed his gratitude to the pilots operating in airstrikes against the Islamic State in Syria. “Special thanks is due to the pilots who are operating in Syria, as well as the sailors from the Caspian Flotilla for their use of high-precision weapons,” he said.
MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Information that Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has met with Iran’s Supreme leader, Ali Khamenie, to discuss the situation in Syria is “complete rubbish” and a red herring, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said Wednesday.
On a happier note.Putin did get a good “Birthday” present today. One of the Ukrainian junta officials came out and suggested the Ukrainians support ISIS in killing Russians in Syria. He posted that bile on his Facebook. And several people (and RT) picked up on it.He must have realized he had crossed a red line and took it off.But not before people had “screen captured” his posting. He advocates Ukrainians give information to ISIS supporters of the names and addresses of Russian servicemen serving in Syria,so the terrorists can kill them. Most of the comments from “Bandera” Ukrainians thought that a great idea.If that won’t wake people up to the evil of the junta, nothing will. And Russia needs to stop trying to convince them and just destroy the junta. He could be charged as a terrorist supporter for his actions, and should be:
The events currently unfolding in the Middle East, and especially Syria, are nothing short of world-historic. By “world-historic” I refer to a fundamental turnaround in long-term world history. The Russian show of force in the Middle East, an area dominated by the US Army’s Central Command, along with such extremely powerful regional powers such as Israel, Turkey and KSA is nothing short than a Military, Diplomatic and STRATEGIC triumph for Russia and her President.
Volumes can be (and will be written) about Russia’s UTTERLY BRILLIANT STRATEGY of the past few years, in the face of a merciless and relentless attack, not by the US, but by the mighty US Empire as A WHOLE!
Putin and his men, have managed to outsmart and outmaneuver the US, its EU allies, Israel, Turkey, and the Gulf States. Not only that, they have managed to effect a complete turnaround in the entire global situation, by turning defense, into attack. The combined strength (economic, military, financial and propagandistic) of the powers arrayed against Russia is nothing short of colossal. Their collective GDP runs into the tens of trillions (Russia is a tiny fraction of that) their financial markets have for centuries ruled world capital flows (still do, mind you) their combined military spending, hardware, and geographic and strategic reach are immense. Maybe more importantly than anything else, their ability to spread lies, disinformation and black propaganda is titanic. They control almost all of the planet’s major media outlets, the entertainment industry, the internet (not fully though, that is crucial) NGOs, Universities, etc etc etc etc…
When things got extremely critical in the summer of 2013 over Syrian skies ans shores, as well as with the subsequent Putch in Kiev (I was not much into geo-politics back then) I became really worried that Russia would have to struggle through for the next 5 or even 10 years at least, before they could start pushing Imperial pressure back.
The Russian rulers have demonstrated themselves to be many times more competent and intelligent than their enemies in Washington, London, Paris, Brussels, Doha, Riyadh and Ankara. They have feigned weakness whenever the battle situation (or general conflict) was not strategically essential, and acted forcefully and decisively whenever matters were critical. They have managed to use Imperial propaganda against itself by being patient with it, and saying the right things at the right time.
The US Empire, has used everything at its disposal to bring Russia down and break her resolve. They have used a media propaganda campaign so vicious, so universal, so hypocritical, so vindictive, so outrageously racist, specifically designed to rally the most vile Russophobes (there are many of those, especially in Europe) as well as the most culpable of faux-leftists.
The Empire has also used its tremendous financial warfare power into the mix, with the aim of terrifying Russian businessmen, of inflicting real suffering on the Russian population (as well as the populations of other, ex-Soviet states) scaring away foreign businesses (especially western) from operating in Russia, with the explicit goal of pushing the Russian population to turn against their lawful leaders and also encouraging internal fifth columnists to rise against Putin.
The Empire has extensively used false flag operations (chemical attacks, MH-17 etc) to discredit Russia and her allies.
The Empire has utilized the most barbaric and vicious of proxy armies, either as ISIS, or as the territorial battalions in Ukraine.
But Russia, with a flexible strategy, with limitless resolve (just consider the immense pressure that Russia has been under in the last few years on all fronts) and supreme diplomacy (Lavrov is a grandmaster, no doubt) has managed to literally turn the world-upside-down. In my opinion, this is the biggest turnaround in world history since at least WWII.
It seems entirely possible, that Russia will manage to create an anti-Imperial axis from Iran (eastern Iran is at the depths of Asia) to the Mediterranean, Syrian and maybe even Lebanese shores. Egypt also seems to be distancing themselves from the US, but that remains to be seen in its long-term effects (pertaining to Egypt) Maybe even Cyprus will in the near future join Russia strategically. I certainly hope so.
What is also a potential game-changer, and world-historic event, is the recent events and stance of Germany. When even a spineless US poodle like Merkel starts talking in favor of Russian involvement, when Vice-Chancellor Gabriel starts talking against the economic sanctions on Russia, and when the US resorts to open economic warfare against Germany as well as punitive operations operations such as the refugee tsunami, you know we are witnessing HISTORY in the making.
The recent spectacle of strategists, propagandists, neo-cons, politicians and assorted Imperial poodles squealing in anguish, rage and impotence against Putin and glorious Russia, their complete loss at the dramatic turn of events, the Empire’s impotence against a country they thought they broke economically, a country they called nothing more than a “gas station”, an army they kept claiming and joking could only fight an internal war, or in nearby areas, and seeing this Army threatening their Empire with at the very least, a partial disintegration.
This is developing to be a gigantic defeat for the US Empire (too many satraps to be listed in this space) which if it does not turn sensible immediately is facing a potentially fatal and final defeat.
Of course, things are still fluid and developing fast. I am praying that the Russian Armed Forces (along with heroic local allies, in the SAA, Hezbollah, Huthis, Kurds, Iranians, Iraqi militias) are 100% successful in lifting the Imperial yoke from the Middle East and by extension, beyond.
Jim Stone has interesting point–claims reason for using long-range missiles is so there’s no warning or leak as to their target, unlike a jet-delivered bunkerbuster, where any ‘coordination’ with NATO would surely lead to targets hit with no command inside. http://82.221.129.208/ah9index.html

Russia most likely responding to America warning CIA assets
Today’s strikes on CIASIS in Syria involved 26 cruise missile launches from the Caspian sea, along with additional strikes from the air.
QUESTION: Why would Russia use expensive cruise missiles when there is no way any legitimate ISIS could take preventive action against much cheaper airstrikes?
ANSWER: Because America can warn CIA assets of approaching aircraft and tell them to take cover or leave the area. The U.S. still most likely cannot track a cruise missile, which will take care of the CIA just fine, at additional cost. And Russia can fit that into a budget of $400 billion
Happy birthday President Putin. I wish you, Russia and the Planet all the best.
…………………..
There has been much talk lately on the internet about possibility of carrying artillery strikes from Russian warships stationed in Syria. But here is another surprise:
Four Russian Navy warships have fired a total of 26 missiles at the position of the terrorist group Islamic State in Syria, Russia’s Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu announced. The missiles were fired from the Caspian Sea.
“Four missile ships launched 26 cruise missiles at 11 targets. According to objective control data, all the targets were destroyed. No civilian objects sustained damage,” Shoigu said.
ISIS understands now that they are on Death Watch. Putin and Shoigu have a very clear strategy. They intend to use whatever it takes to totally destroy the Caliphate and to kill all the ISIS fighters and support system.
Understand this, folks. There are children and families living with some of the ISIS fighters and they will be the so-called civilians (collateral) killed and injured with the ISIS fighters and among the ISIS targets. It is just the reality.
In this war, which is total from ISIS’s side, has now become total on the side of Russia and Syria. As Lavrov indicated, a terrorist is a terrorist and it will become a dead terrorist now that Russia has taken over the war to protect civilization and defend Russia wherever ISIS exists.
The great Russian people are saving humanity from the scourge of Islamic terror and Western complicity.
God Bless the Russians.
Happy Birthday President Putin. May you live long and strong for many decades more.
These developments are very positive. I am still apprehensive about what the US might try. Right now they seem to be perplexed, but I don’t think they will simply lie down and roll over.
On a less positive note, let’s not forget that for the moment, things in the region that is less and less frequently called “Novorussia” are looking rather grim. Doesn’t look good. Doesn’t smell good. The video below shows Miss Kornienko. We learn that her sister Valentina “was kidnapped two weeks ago in Donetsk, soon after materials were published on corruption and abuse of the DPR military intelligence department,” as the soon-not-to-be-called “Republics” are quietly being prepared to be reintegrated, i.e. mercifully placed in the path of the bus, so to speak. The Junta bus. She calls her plea a “cry of the soul”. Let’s not allow the understandable satisfaction about Russia’s forceful actions in Syria distract from the fact that the Novorussia project is dead and that untold thousands died and millions suffered for what will amount to nothing. That is the truth. If this is where it is going (and where else can it go?) it would have been infinitely better if there had never been any uprising at all.
A thousand times and a thousand more may God bless Putin and Russia for everything they do for the world.
And a heartfelt thanks to you dear The Saker for your hard work and ethics in bringing so much light of truth in the midst of endless lies from the Western Zionist politicians and MSM.
It’s very fin de siecle, St Petersburg, ‘classic’ Russia in the video. Not very ‘eastern pivot’ al all.
So I don’t think the folk who made the video were seriously political. Its more of an appreciation, a recognition that Russia in times of stress – very much the case at the moment – seeks a saviour and they feel they have one in Putin.
What would be even better would be a number of such videos reflecting the RF’s diversity in its children – maybe from remote eastern areas and the southern borders. Unity, diversity (organic and emergent, not top-down stress-imposed migration/multiculturalism like the West) under one flag, one president. one country.

Mr. Putin handed his business card to all Syrian enemy combatants. The message on it couldn’t be simpler, polite or more condensed;
‘Please go home – Russian PM Vladimir Putin.’

@ Outlaw Historian,
I minored in economics and lo and behold, my tea leaves reading aunt, on my mom’s side, is better at predicting Malthusian volatileness than I’ll ever be.
Here is an excellent article by an academician of the Higher School of Economics (but he doesn’t read like an economist thank goodness):

Lays out important parts of the recipe for Russian success in Syria. Meanwhile since the US propaganda over ISIS is blown out of the water, and ISIS is morphing into “moderate opposition” before our eyes before it is blown to smithereens or toward Saudi land, it is amusing to see how only a short time ago the script seemed so settled:

Leon Panetta predicts a thirty-year war against ISIS. (The link was originally in Syrian Perspective blog.) The US strategy to destroy Russia is blocked, right here and now, in Syria.
So is that a moderate liver eating opposition?
I wonder whether the US attack on the MSF hospital in Kunduz is payback for the French switch to support the Russian position in Syria.

David George,
You took the suspicion right out of my head.

Oh well.

Today is President Putin’s 63rd Birthday.Happy Birthday,and many more.
A video made for his Birthday.Maybe a little over the top.But very nice as well:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=144&v=1vkxCeOP54I
Hmmm,I may have been wrong on the video being “nice”.I’m not sure about it now.I’m beginning to wonder if it really wasn’t a US or anti-Putin group that made it.Putin doesn’t seem to like the idea of a “cult of personality”.And that video screams “cult of personality” to the rooftop.I admired the cute kids, and excellence in production and thought at first maybe it was a Putin supporter that produced it.And they just had bad taste.
No way this is Stalinist propaganda…it is Russian schmaltz at its best with their love of kids featured.
“strength in a kind heart.”… no way some scumbag psy ops sell out of the human race could come up with that ..
Happy Birthday Vlad…and many more.
Now, faced with a new situation, Erdogan picturesquely expresses discontent.”

‘Russian Tweet Disparages US-led Coalition Efforts to Arm Syrian Rebels’
The warnings of President Erdogan that Moscow could lose its friendship with Ankara, which came after Russia’s accidental violations of Turkey’s airspace during its air operations in Syria, might have signaled some tension between the countries.
“Our positive relationship with Russia is known. But if Russia loses a friend like Turkey, with whom it has been cooperating on many issues, it will lose a lot, and it should know that,” President Tayyip Erdogan said on Tuesday during his visit to Brussels for talks with the European leaders over the migrant crisis.
However, the US newspaper The New York Times has dispersed all hope.
“Turkey, which from the outset of the war more than four years ago backed rebel groups in the belief that Mr. Assad could be quickly toppled, finds itself powerless to shape events in Syria,” it says

Veritas
Amen, Brother. I think a lot of people are praying with you.
Great thoughts, Stavros.

A very nice surprise for Washington

way to go!
Cruise Missiles (26) from Russia with Love!
Putin even does gun control better than Obama.
No guns for terrorists! He blows them up and melts their weapons.

God speed to all of you!
Signposts to the future.
