The ending statement about probability of US AF bombing Syrian forces is hyperbole.
With Russia as guarantor of Syrian sovereignty and Assad’s forces as allies, there will be no US AF flying over Syrain-held or Syrain-contested areas. That train left the station.
One hour phone call between DOD and MOD, Carter and Shoigu, plus CIA going to Moscow assures there is no misunderstanding by US and Russia.
Unless the US thinks Putin would not give S 300s and S 400s or whatever it takes to neutralize USAF. The US is full of itself, but not delusional. They are going to ask politely and file flight plans for any action in Syria.
Same goes for Israel and Turkey. The train left the station and the Putin Express is the only ride to take.
Greetings, Red Ryder! Thank you for the feedback. It seems that I should to explain the forecast in the end of the video.
1) “With Russia as guarantor of Syrian sovereignty” – hyperbola.
Russia is pushing to the DIPLOMATIC solution of the crisis. For example: Syrian opposition goes to Moscow to discuss preparations for Geneva-3 conference (http://tass.ru/en/world/822493).
Before the moment Russia officially confirmed its forces exist on the battlefield, Russian forces can’t be a cause stopping US from air strikes. In any case, the cause is a fear of Russia-US war escalating.
If sides use only proxy forces and unofficial military contingents, the US can bomb Assad forces easily. The US officials don’t deny that they can.
It’s only a short part of the explanation, but I believe it’s enough for the discussion in the comments.
2) You have missed that different points of forecast have different tone. From it’s a fact or almost 100% to it’s possible. In fact, most of them are very clear. But the part about US air raids against Assad forces reads: “This will probably be the case when the US Air Force starts to bomb the Syrian Armed Forces.” It’s possible, but we don’t argue that the US will start to bomb Syrian forces immediately.
The SouthFront team is seeking to provide only non-biased analysis and intelligence of the ongoing crises. So, we don’t use patriotic believes and moral convictions in the forecasts.
I hope that I explained the video enough. If you (or somebody) have additional questions, feel free to write them here. I’ll try to answer them all.
Thanks for very high quality report great graphics -but I hope we can still have the occaisional way over the top ironic sarcastic reports about the absurdities of this world with that Rus sense of dark humour too…….
Damn. What is hyperbole and what is reality? Thanks for keeping us posted but the forked tongue US Indian killers just turns my stomach and turns off my remaining rationality. Hope for the best and expect the worst?
The S-300 has a tracking range of 300 km (radius), which if placed in W. Syria to protect Damascus would cover a circle whose radius extends all over Lebanon from end to end easily.

This is likely why Nutty is in such a flap to go to Moscow today 21st–their flight routes over Lebanon whose sovereignty they regularly violate with impunity & have for decades would be seriously in jeopardy.
Interesting story from Ft Russ about Russian Marines fighting ISIS (or at least some terrorists) near the Latakia airport that Russians are expanding:
Russian marines engaged in a fight with militants of the Islamic State near the Syrian city of Latakia.
“According to news agency “Fresh Wind”, on Saturday night to Sunday morning members of ISIS tried to mount an attack on the airbase, however, they were ambushed.
During the battle, the Russian military claims to have killed some militants, and some captured.
The agency also notes that the ambushed militants had a detailed plan of the air base and clear satellite images marked with key military installations.”
Hmmm, now how on earth would a bunch of terrorists get plans and satellite images with targets marked on them? Who,just who, would give them something like that?
Hello Ann! We don’t think that a world war is possible in the nearest future. But the local conflicts will escalate, new crisises will arise (we forecasted one in Moldova month ago) and some local conflicts could become international.
Well from a story on RT,I think Germany needs to break free from NATO this year.Or people need to start moving out of there. The US is moving new nuclear bombs into Germany for use for “new attack options against Russia”.Which means Russia will need to use nukes to destroy that base (or bases in Germany).Pretty much ending Germany forever as a nation state. But I can’t feel any pity I’m afraid. When you “dance with the Devil” you should expect to be burned. They had a choice, and chose death. You see I’m not one of those here that whines about Germany being an “occupied” country and has to obey the US.No, they don’t.The German people could rise up,throw out their traitors and call on Russia for help. That is true for every country in the EU as well. They could all throw out their corrupt leaders if they “wanted” to.But they “choose” not to.The US doesn’t have the power to fight all Europe demanding they leave.Especially with those countries having Russian backing. So the talk about “they can’t,they can’t” is just whining excuses for the lack of the courage and will to save themselves.

The way things are moving at the moment, by the time a video is made it is already behind the times.

Hi, Dennis! You can find the answer on your comment above.
Note the scale of size of these puny Levant countries:

We can only hope he took with him those eye-catching storyboards to explain it all to putin.

Fwiw, Stephen Cohen touched on the Syrian civil war in his podcast interview about the Russia Ukraine conflict in this podcast:

Looks like a pretty big crowd in Dresden Germany the other today. And shouting the slogan “Merkel to Siberia,Putin to Berlin”.Music to my ears.

Dear South Front, thank you for this informative video…a true fight of Good against Evil…
Dear South Front, do you think that this could elevate into WW3 with US fighting Russia ?
