– we are ready to fight the United States and the martyrdom of some of us will not change any of the existing equations
Needless to say – it has begun. Of course all the people who watch TV all day have no idea what’s coming. As a person who lives in New York state, I’ve personally observed some ignorant people say that “we dropped another goat f**ker” after the news of Soleimani’s assassination. Well I hope it was worth it, because it’s not just Iran that’s going to be fighting us, but Iraq too. American family members of US servicemen abroad have no idea that their sons are about to be at a huge risk of coming home in a coffin. And of course blood-thirsty brainwashed soldiers and marines inside the country keep repeating the sacred mantra of “we have air superiority and the biggest navy in the world; what will it take to make Iran the weakest country in the Middle East?” That reality is about to get shattered, and it’s about damn time!
As a fellow New Yorker I have to agree, living in a rural area in upper N.Y. the thoughts are a little different,we in the rural area are sick of war of the endless games played by those in power, the endless propaganda of a sick nation, perpetuated by sick people who don’t really care about this country or its people as they march the country into all out war without the consent of the people, sick of a government who interferes in every aspect of it citizens, taxing them to the limit and beyond, sick of the moral decay they have wrought on the country.Perhaps they will meet their Waterloo its coming, and for one it can’t come soon enough.!!!
There is a point in the life of an Empire, and there was a point in the German’s last war, when the psychological tide turns.
For years, a hundred years, you feel you are taking on the world. Ataboy! Bravo! Let the plunder flow!
By excess complexity, clamoring for advantage at the trough and domestic neglect your commanders look around and realise that in fact, the world is fighting you.
The difference is not even subtle, its polar.
The worst happens when your vassals and enemies begin to realise this too and begin to co-ordinate.
Are we there, yet, in the ME at least?
I do not think thay USA will lose all its alllies in the ME. Saudi Arabia et.al. and Israel will stand, if not by their side, then at leasy safely behind their back. And there is IS and AQ that have been used before.
USA do kot need to fear an coordinated, world wide oposition, no more than Rome needed to deal with an unison uprising. They got the Gauls to join in on the attack on the Germans. Divide and conqer; USA know the game, eventhough they are struggeling at the moment.
USA will stand on its clay feey as long as the dollar is the supernational currency, and they can print money to finance its armed forces. They are not the best force, strugling with the moral, but they are huge!
But USA is in for a huge setback in the ME The Shiites are united.
If yoy want the Empire to be dismateled, fight for it politically in what is left of the democratic system in USA. A new, bipartisan antiwar movement may achieve something (or a new party?)
I live in a country that does not even dare to critizise ehat has been done! Even everyone understands that this was not justified. Do not expect help from us! We do not want to end up on a sanction list.
Imho the whole affair had one short-term goal: to prevent any kind of Iran-Saudi rapprochement.
@ darkroom
That’s possible. That was what the meeting he was attending was about. In which case Trump’s ‘it was to stop a war, not start one’ is superficially true. But of course I have to ask ‘Why would an act of peace between to foreign nations induce a war including the US?’
So acts against the undisclosed interests of the US, even if they stabilise a region and build peace, can propagate a war. That has to be your take home message. It is pretty sick, to say the least.
I also don’t think that a short term goal of preventing this rapprochement is the limit of US/Israeli interest or ambitions towards Iran. Do you? They have a long term goal, right? So what else, besides your suggestion, is anticipated fallout?
I am quite sure that if they don’t hold their line, keep to the plan and shut their cake-holes the US/Israelis will have the excuse they have long sought.
One very real danger right now is that the Deep State will resort to a nuclear false flag attack, a nuclear 9/11, as it were, on a US American city (or maybe two or three) and falsely blame the Iranians, as a fraudulent casus belli, as an excuse to employ nuclear weapons against Iran.
This is a very real danger, and in-fact, I am privy to some information that they are indeed planning such a similar false flag attack. They originally planned to do it under Hillary. Problem is, they want a president they have full control over before going forward with such a bold plan. Someone who will approve the false flag. It’s not going to happen quite yet, but it is something we will need to work together to prevent from happening in the future. Or else this world will burn.
What Is quite telling with this extrajudicial murder of the General and the Iraqi citizen(not one word in the media here about his murder), is how so many folk here in America, who before a few days ago had never even heard of Soliemani, now spew the exact talking points of the fake stream media. Chilling. So much reminds me of the way folk parroted the need to invade Iraq because of nine eleven. Truly appalled at the abject ignorance of folk I’ve interacted with who cannot deviate the slightest for Orange Man Good. When they see video of the masses on the streets of the Mid. East, they are lead to believe they are happy for this General’s murder. About as dystopian one can truly be. I’m taking much heat from those folk, just like I did when warning them of the colossal blunder invading Iraq would be.
It’s human nature. People like to be in the right, to be on the winning side of the argument. To be on the winning side of the war. And believing all the government and MSM propaganda gives them those feelings.
Why would they care whether the USA is doing right or wrong? Whether its acts are legal or illegal? Whether they are loved or hated abroad?
All that matters is to go on enjoying beer, pizza, ice cream, sport and the glorious feeling of being in the World’s Most Powerful Gang Ever.
“we are ready to fight the United States and the martyrdom of some of us will not change any of the existing equations”
What about the martyrdom of the bus full of children the Anglos plan to bomb? Do they not yet understand the evil they are up against?
I’d like to see something a little more advanced in the psych-war department from these people.
Hmm how would be if Russia,China Iran,Turkey and like minded nations were to create their own version of a NATO organization, to protect these countries from the evils of the west and their poodles, I bet it would go a long way in reining in the ambitions of those that seek war.!!!
‘DIplomatic immunity’ no longer means anything to the thug nation USA but if this column is true then it puts another level of cowardice on the Soleimani assassination. :
“Worse still, Soleimani’s diplomatic mission was being carried out as a result of a request made by the Trump administration to the Iraqi government. These are among the reasons that the US knew Soleimani’s precise location at the specific time – and why the US in one fell swoop, lost all remaining diplomatic credibility.”

Trump is the figurehead of this madness that has been unfolding since the end of the Cold War. It will not end with replacing Trump as those that would replace him are running the show. We are now at the edge of the cliff and looking into the abyss.
No one can say which way it will go: it will be all out war or the US will retreat from the region. Either war the US Empire of Insanity will meet its Waterloo. The spirit of Humanity demands it.
Began much farther back than the contrived “Cold War”. This more and more appears to be Albert Pikes bullet points on our collective future. Interesting that I used the “edge of a cliff, looking into an abyss” when Bush/Cheney were lying us into the Iraq disaster. Caught a whole lot of flak back then, as I am now for not drinking their koolaid.
I hope their meeting place is secure and secret and that they really know everyone in their midst, lest a subversive from the tribe infiltrates and gives them over to assassination.
It would appear that the calm experienced by the invasion force and occupiers to facilitate looting these countries is about to come to an abrupt end.
Now that Trump has normalized assassination, perhaps all of humanity should consider it to be a worthwhile goal. It seems that all other attempts to rein in warmongers have failed. I can envision a large number of decentralized assassination marketplaces ridding the world of corrupt elites who are above the law.
I just got up from an afternoon nap to see a headline that the U.S. military is making preparations to leave Iraq. If they do, a very big if, they will not be going far away. More than likely this can be filed in the same stack with ‘we stand with the people of Iraq’ or ‘we are trying to deescalate’.
What did Reagan use to say? “Trust (not) but verify”. My suspicion? Get ready to duck and cover from an incoming false flag. After all, they tried to warn Iraq that if they withdrew their security was at risk. And now there has been this terrible attack. I guess we will have to stay for the good of the people and for freedom. Blah, blah I’ve seen this movie more than once.
