Listening to Obama’s speech about Cuba I was stunned by the following statements:
After all, these 50 years have shown that isolation has not worked. It’s time for a new approach. (…) I do not believe we can keep doing the same thing for over five decades and expect a different result. Moreover, it does not serve America’s interests, or the Cuban people, to try to push Cuba toward collapse. Even if that worked -– and it hasn’t for 50 years –- we know from hard-earned experience that countries are more likely to enjoy lasting transformation if their people are not subjected to chaos.
You get that? Obama admits that 50 years of sanctions and attempts to isolate a small island right off the coast of Florida has not worked. And then he announces that he will impose more sanctions on Russia, the biggest country on the planet, and that he will isolate Russia, even though Russia now has full access to the biggest economy on the planet?!
Is that not the height of stupidity and self-delusion?
The Saker
When you own the Press (and everything else), you can make it up as you go along, there will be no consequences.
Concerning Cuba they are trying to spin it as a victory for the USA but the truth is many Latin American Nations have said that they would no longer participate in the OAS unless Cuba was included.
So the USA did not have any choice if they wanted to preserve their imperialist organization.
I am thinking USSA has moved toward Cuba simply to stymie a possible missile base, after Putin ran through Latin America with agreements for trade/friendships.

What a surprise this morning, City specs and Soros are wetting their pants, with the rubble strengthening.
Finally Nabiulina’s move earlier this week are starting to pay off.
I’m not a fan of hers but Mr Saker you ‘re way to much hot headed for a couple of month.
PS: as a matter of fact the lady was personally chosen by uncle Vlad, didnt you know? If he starts to choose 5th column members well…
Swallowing ideological rambles hook line and sinker, you should know better. Dont go badger
You have to realize many of these people in Washington regularly enjoy eight-martini lunches. Before you judge them, ask yourself how smart you would be after eight martinis.
Alcoholism is no excuse for stupidity. Rather it has been said that an inebriated perdon reveals more of their true character. With this in mind we can see that insecurity and fear govern the hearts of those egos that strive for power on the hill…

O ye of little faith! Have I not shown you wonders? Yet you do not believe! (Putin bangs head on wall)
The empire struggles while Russia goes from strength to strength. The reversal in Cuba policy is because of the Empire’s decline. Obama is also agenda setting because he knows he has trouble with the upcoming Congress.
This confirms that Putin’s policy in this confrontation is not only absolutely correct; Putin is a GrandMaster Genius Chess Player (GGCP)<®>
Putin’s policy is to wait out the attacks and not commit any significant firepower either to defense or attack until the situation clears. This is brilliant for a number of reasons:
1. The empire’s own house is in shambles and the attack may collapse on its own anyway.
– There is a new Congress in january. This is a major wild card as Obama maybe forced to focus entirely on domestic policy (impeachment?). This would be the time for Russia to conunter. Softly! softly!
– There is a titanic struggle between realists and neocons in the admin. Hence the departure of Hagel. There maybe more high profile departures. Why reveal your strategy now when Obama has a momentary respite. Wait till he is in domestic battle!
– The US presidential campaign is about to begin. This will absorb much of the empire’s energy. Give it time to tie them up in knots.
2. The Empire’s Syria/Mideast policy is in a shambles (are they fighting or supporting ISIS?) That will undermine their attack on Russia. Why not let things get worse for the empire, before you make your move?
3. Assad is winning, Turkey is in revolt. Let these problems mature some more.
4. EU sanctions come up for renewal in march. Why attack before then. Southern Europe should be in open revolt or repression by then.
5. The winter freeze has yet to reach its apex, it should by March. Why not let the Ukinazi struggle on the hook till then? They may just die.
6. Low oil prices are hurting the West as well i.e UK industry plus powerful western oil companies (Exxon?) already smarting from sanctions. They will be undermining the empire’s attack from within. Let them work.
7. Finally, this battle has just began. The Empire is in decline but is, for the moment, far more powerful, in economic and geopolitical terms than Russia. Russia is strengthening. Why meet their frontal attacks with a “frontal” defense? Better to avoid direct battle and wait for them to weaken and you to strengthen.
For all these reasons, the best thing for Russia to do right now is wait. A forceful response from Russia right now will simply unite the Empire and stunt the growth of forces within the empire which oppose or weaken its attack on Russia.
At the same time if Putin attacks the 5th column now, this will divide Russia while rallying the empire to the defense of its agents. It will also have zero effect in terms of making the immediate situation better for Russia. Not even Glaziev at the Russian Central bank could have stopped the attack on the ruble this week!
How many people here including Saker thought that the appropriate response to Yanukovych’s ouster was a Russian invasion of Ukraine. Putin was right on that score, no? Putin is even proving to be right on the issue of a federated Ukraine. Every passing day brings more Donbass acceptance of the idea.

Very insightful analysis there. I would agree with most of the things you say there except some points that hopefully you can clarify.
a) From the little that I know about Syria is that Assad has managed to survive, but why would you confidently claim that he is winning?
b) What do you mean by Turkey is in revolt? I thought that Erdoğan had a firm grip on power.
c) What makes you so confident that southern Europe will be in revolt? Possible Syriza victory in Greece? Podemos in Spain? Renzi to fall in Italy? Or maybe a renewed debt crisis?
As for the low price of oil, it’s hurting just about anyone who drills for oil. Nigeria and Venezuela are screaming. Iran and Iraq as well. The Western oil giants are hurting as well, but not as much as you would expect, because they are also refining and retailing oil and so can pass part of their lost revenue from crude, to customers for diesel and gasoline.
What is really hurting though from the low oil price are the producers of expensive unconventional oil in the USA and Canada.
I keep mentioning this over and over, because it is a central cause, factor and effect in this entire crisis.
On Cuba, its too early to tell but this may be an olive branch to Russia. A peace offering by Obama. I doubt it. But thats one option.
However, its clearly a major defeat for the US. It sends a signal to the world that the Empire can be sucessfully resisted. And it sends that signal at precisely the time it is most needed.
The Cuba story may have two possible explanations.
1) The US are worried that Russia may use Cuba as a military base and a platform for missiles. By cosying up to Cuba they hope to forestall any such possibility.
2) The US want to regain some of their lost influence in Latin America and a polite gesture towards Cuba will in their view commence the charm offensive.
In any case, this further demonstrates that the Empire’s assault on Russia creates serious costs on all other fronts. On the other hand, Russia does not have any other crisis to content with other than its standoff with the AZ empire.
Putin has excellent Intel sources for military and counter-Intell. A large component of this activity is concerning economics, just as it is high technology weapons and defense.
Therefore, Putin has knowledge and sources and the Russians have methods to handle all the forms of economic warfare.
Russian bear waits. But Russian bear is on guard.
The so called polarity/opposition between ‘America’ and ‘Russia’ is a fraud. This fraud is being built with emotions, blood and fears, as always. This is the same kind of fraud that the polarity/opposition between ‘the south’ and ‘the north’ during the American Civil War. It is well known that this opposition was completely manufactured by ‘the Rothschild’. At this time, these famous bankers actively financed agents in both sides. Rothschild agents in the south financed anti-Union propaganda while Rothschild agents in the north financed the opposite propaganda. Do you get it? You can always say that it was more complicated than that but the background is this one. The goal was the control of the future federal reserve.
The real polarity is probably, to put it simple, between ‘the Rockefeller’ and ‘the Rothschild’. The ‘Rockefeller’ felt in the 9/11 trap… You can change these names if you want !
One of the real points (they are many…) is to know if Putin is a new Napoleon, a new Lincoln or if he works for the Rothschild, which is still unclear.
Another point, there is a war in Europe for the control of the currency of this area : the Euro. Who will control the Euro : Germany, England, South European countries? This war is also, of course, controlled and Ukraine is ‘just’ a huge false flag… By cutting South Stream and redirect it through Turkey, Putin weaken the south european countries and therefore supports Germany. This is realpolitik ! So Putin has many cards in his hands and by supporting Germany against the south european countries, he also plays the game of England and the City… Media can always say that Germany is more and more anti Russian, this is not necessarily the case in reality. This is just part of a false polarity… And all these details will be forgotten when the big blocks with there currencies will be there (see the analysis of Khazin with emerging blocks associated with currency zones).
Why do you think that Kadhafi was eliminated? He wanted in free and sovereign Africa, and neither Russia, neither China and neither the USA wanted that. Bachar el-Assad and Iran are not the same kind of leader or country and they are not against being part of the big Eurasian block.
In my opinion, the Rothschild don’t really care about the currencies, they just want to control the financial movements between the big blocks. So, unless something unexpected happens, the big blocks will emerge but with a limited sovereignty.
Maybe putin’s got the wrong central banker?
he should hire grandma yellen to goose the oil price way up, the way the ppt is doing with the stock averages.

Greetings! Saker,
Maybe this will let you see what is really behind the behind the scenes ZionistAnglo maneuvers:
Israelis build huge office complex in Havana:
http://www.luxner.com/cgi-bin/view_article.cgi?articleID=363
“Israel is also becoming one of the leading foreign investors in Cuba, with private Jewish businessmen involving themselves in everything from Cuban citrus exports to real-estate projects.
Now, in a move sure to infuriate Cuban exile groups and the Bush administration, a group of Israeli investors is sinking tens of millions of dollars into what they’re calling Cuba’s first “intelligent office building complex” — a suburban Havana office park that, when completed, will consist of 18 six-floor office buildings located on 180,000 square meters (nearly two million square feet).
The Miramar Trade Center (MTC) is the brainchild of Inmobiliaria Monte Barreto S.A., a joint venture between Cuban state agency Cubalse S.A. and Grupo BM, an Israeli entity headed by former Mossad spy chief Rafi Eitan.
Inmobiliaria Monte Barreto’s chairman is Enrique Rottenberg, an Argentine Jew living in Cuba. Rottenberg wouldn’t say how much his company is investing in the project, and declined to be interviewed by this newspaper, saying it was not in his interest for the company’s activities to be publicized. He wouldn’t even hand out his business card for fear of having his name mentioned in the U.S. press. ”
Same article:
“Interestingly, the Israeli government — which has been quite vocal about its support of the U.S. trade embargo against Cuba — has long distinguished between official ties with Cuba, which it doesn’t have, and private Israeli investment, which it says it cannot control.
Yet the government itself is quietly helping Israeli companies invest there.
According to John Kavulich III, president of the U.S.-Cuba Trade and Economic Council, the Israel Foreign Trade Risk Insurance Corp. (IFTRIC) now provides commercial and political risk insurance for Israeli companies hoping to invest in Cuba. In 1999, IFTRIC reported insuring short-term transactions worth more than $3 billion, of which some 10% was directed toward developing countries. ”
You may read the rest in link given above.
Best Wishes,

By cutting South Stream and redirect it through Turkey, Putin weaken the south european countries and therefore supports Germany.
How does Greece get weakened by having the gas hub?
doesn’t make sense to me.
America is only implementing a change in TACTICS, not goals, with respect to Cuba.
America’s fundamental agenda remains the same: the recolonization of Cuba… sorry, I mean altruistically giving the Cuban people glorious American “democracy.”
Is the Cold War on Cuba Over?http://libya360.wordpress.com/2014/12/18/is-the-cold-war-on-cuba-over/
Maybe its just about getting thier hands on Cuban oil. Plus now would be about the right time as the Castros will not be around in 10 years. They can work to destablize things through their dozens of helping agancys that will pour into Cuba. Below is about the oil. Isn’t everything the US does about oil(IRAQ, natural resources(rare earths)(afghanistan), or money for special interests(ie the MIC)Iraq Syria , Libya all fall into this group. Really its all about stealing from the 99% for the 1%.

Such paranoid ravings would be less of a waste of time if the author could be bothered to offer even a scrap of evidence to support their assertions.
All can be explained -after all this is the age of Doublethink:
“To know and not to know, to be conscious of complete truthfulness while telling carefully constructed lies, to hold simultaneously two opinions which cancelled out, knowing them to be contradictory and believing in both of them, to use logic against logic, to repudiate morality while laying claim to it, to believe that democracy was impossible and that the Party was the guardian of democracy, to forget, whatever it was necessary to forget, then to draw it back into memory again at the moment when it was needed, and then promptly to forget it again, and above all, to apply the same process to the process itself – that was the ultimate subtlety; consciously to induce unconsciousness, and then, once again, to become unconscious of the act of hypnosis you had just performed. Even to understand the word ‘doublethink’ involved the use of doublethink”
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doublethink
No stupidity nor self-delusion intended. The USSA wants to keep the Russians and the Chinese out of the Caribbean. Making Cuba an American colony will do just that. In less than five years, Cuba will be “invited” to sign the Central America Free Trade Agreement (CAFTA).
In other news, Atlantic City will die, as Havana becomes the Las Vegas of Latin America. Trump cannot wait to build a tower there.
It could be they are afraid Russia could use Cuba as a missile retaliation base should NATO / nuclear buildup in East-Europe becoming frightening.
Don’t believe their lies! (mainstream stories, my bad)

Precisely.
On issue of federation – by affirming their sovereignty, Donetsk and Lugansk republics play a key role in bringing down the Kiev oligarchs and their neo-nazi “national guards”. How? Lead by calling for a free and voluntary federated union; one that is based on principles of peaceful coexistence; one that recognizes the rights of all and the languages of all the minorities in Ukraine as official; where the rights of the oligarchs (domestic and foreign) are subordinated to those of society to provide for its members and where justice is served by holding to account those responsible for arming and unleashing private armies to commit crimes against the people
MK Ngoyo says, “There is a titanic struggle between realists and neocons in the admin. Hence the departure of Hagel.”
I’m sorry, but this looks like rose-colored glasses. Hagel was replaced by someone even more war-mongering. If you evidence of anything in either admin or Congress which is not pro-war, please share it. The “War on Russia Resolution” pretty much mitigates against any sizeable anti-war faction.
To be honest Saker, when I look at the Obama overtures towards Cuba, I do not believe that this is some attempt to neutralise a Russian regional ally.
I really see this as a Democrat Party initiate to spike the guns of leading Republican Presidential contender Jed Bush.
Out of interest Saker Jed Bush or Hilary? Is their one likely to more rational in their policies towards Russia and China?
The AmeriKan Prezident Achtung Puppet just says what they tell him to do. He may as well have the puppeteer’s hand inserted into his anus every time he gets up to talk.

If I am not mistaken, this is really clever comment, with insights embedded. Very different from the delusional fantasies of the uninformed
The USA administration and the spy networks are specialists in repeating over and over psy ops that do not work . Einstein said ” Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”
The way I see what happened with Cuba is that the restoration of diplomatic relations is just a new tactic . Now probably The CIA will try : flooding Cuba with expatriates that work for the CIA , NGO , weird religious organizations , Radio stations spewing incessant propaganda so the USA can try future colored revolutions , Coups d’etat , and the buying of all Cuban politicians . That’s Amerika modus operandi .
Morte al Nuovo ordine

Bear in mind that between people wanting to do Business with Cuba, The shift in the cold war and weakening and aging of the rabid anti-Castro Cubans in the US, and Fidel’s retirement, there has been a push for a some time now to normalize relations with Cuba. This is not as radical as it would have been a decade or two ago.

Spot on, I fully agree with your analysis. America is a one trick pony, they only know how to behave in one way and one way only. This is only an attempt to circumvent the Russians reopening their old base in Cuba. They are so predictable its not even funny.
The U.S. is committed in its pursuit of regime change in Cuba. Efforts to achieve this outcome through external mechanisms (sanctions/economic warfare) have been ineffective. As with other situations, the U.S. has more success when agitating for regime change from within a state. The employment of assets within NGOs, opposition groups, media/use of internet (information warfare), embassy staff (CIA operatives), etc., in the application of colour revolution technology as part of regime change operations is well established. The Trojan Horse strategy is very effective in achieving the objective of regime change. Despite conciliatory rhetoric, the (concealed) U.S. position will remain adversarial and it will continue to pursue the installation of aligned assets to engineer client states.

Very true and the Cubans won’t fall for it I believe.I was reading the Cuban Press a few minutes ago.And it is full of the usual stories of the US aggression on Cuba.Since the US isn’t (so far) even overturning the blockade I don’t see the Cubans letting any tricky NGO’s and other agents in to the country.
Dear The Saker,
The imbecile is going on about Human Rights in Cuba and how the US will help change that – if there was ever a sign that this is not a friendly opening of relations – that says it all. Cuba needs to be very very careful. Don’t forget they have oil too.

“…the height of stupidity and self delusion?”
The words Obama utters are like those of an actor who’s shooting 2 different movies at the same time.
In the Cuba movie, the script calls for words of reconciliation, so he delivers them. The Russia movie has a different script, and he delivers those.
The words don’t signify anything real. The audience goes home, reviewers comment on the delivery of the words, and they are forgotten. The next day brings new words to be commented on, utterly disconnected from the previous day’s, and also forgotten.
Emotive ciphers, suitable for creating the desired temporary feelings in the audience, but signifying no real policy, and like the movies depend on the audience’s temporary suspension of disbelief for their “value”.
The American Presidency has become a cipher. The degeneration reached its culmination in Obama’s first election, when the presidency overtly and oh-so-obviously, became nothing more than an actor playing a role. He has taken it now to its penultimate stage, a caricature of itself.
As for Cuba, I’m with Anonymous #1. The OAS was on the cusp of dissolution, and with it a large part of the Empire’s hold over the continent. A lot of people will fall for it. Temporarily.
BTW, I keep getting an error message with this new “I am not a robot” Captcha.
Tenga cuidado, Cubanos!
If el presidente Obummer is coming, he will poison you with all what the americans got, be careful!
And I’m not the only one who’s warning, which soothens my paranoia a little bit:

No pasaran!
And he’s the man who said Putin personally shot down MH17 and it’s true because he, Obama, said it is so.
No one can isolate Russia, they can only throw wrenches big and small into the smooth functioning of the economy. In a prolonged full court press the Russian economy will suffer considerable pain, but if the Russian people are willing to endure (and support their leader), what comes about on the other side is a stronger more robust and independent nation.
Remember, this is a spiritual war hidden within the attire of economics, the meat puppets like Obama, Clinton and McCain are merely morally compromised opportunists. The true power lies hidden and belongs to genealogies that are untouched by economic strife of any kind, they live in a supra-society. Catherine Austin Fitts touches on the matter and refers to this phenomena as the ‘break away civilization’.
Russia’s destiny is to provide an alternative path to human spiritual unfoldment, therefore it must be subverted at all costs.
@SancturyOne,
In a way, we already live in 1984.
WAR IS PEACE,(we are told wars are for peace. and Economic wars happen everyday, every second, while we are of peace.. We had lost untold riches, but we will never know)
FREEDOM IS SLAVERY,( We are free but our minds are locked, our actions are locked)
IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH. (To know, and suddenly I’d rather never be alive)
@penelope you said “I’m sorry, but this looks like rose-colored glasses. Hagel was replaced by someone even more war-mongering. If you evidence of anything in either admin or Congress which is not pro-war, please share it.
You read entirely what you wanted to read into my statement. Not at all what I wrote ;) Notice that my comment says nothing about war/antiwar. Just realist/neocon.
Anyway, the way I understand it is that there is a conflict between the neocons and realists. In Syria the neocons want the US to take down Assad not ISIS. The realists have more limited aims i.e fight ISIS, accomodate Assad and Iran. Its not a case of pro-war vs anti-war, its completely wacko vs somewhat wacko.
I keep saying but you don’t listen. Lobotomy. Connecticut. 1977-1979. And check out those long scars all over the occipital and parietal areas of Obummer DeSoto’s head. Something’s odd there?
MOSCOW, December 19. /TASS/. Russia will not leave Washington’s hostile actions without response, the United States will be fully to blame for the consequences, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Alexander Lukashevich said on Friday in connection with the signing by US President Barack Obama of the Ukraine Freedom Support Act.
“We will apparently be getting rid of this heritage for a long time. The American side is fully to blame for the consequences,” Lukashevich said.
“We do not leave hostile actions on the part of Washington without response.
Thanks huntergarde for informative link- Saker would you approve/appreciate of posters here contacting the original authors of such and similar articles that inform vineyard to invite them to be contributors themselves and broaden the vineyard readership in both ways?Kind of developing an “outreach” rather than just “let it happen”(though of course being on RI and fort-russ etc are super)? Maybe there is a philanthropist out there who can support vineyard, but maybe it is preferable to be independant and continue the ethos of “dependency” on the community that creates/assists/develops its value according to its prospectus naturally?

Thank you Angelo, and yes, it is a spiritual war, with Russia as the main target, as were the 1st and 2nd world wars looked at from this perspective.
There are many writers who speak of this East/West battle for the future of Russia and mankind.
It is a battle for the soul, a battle for the highest principles within us.
It is clear to us all, somehow, and yet difficult to fathom.
Every day I pray for Russia and all the people of the East, for safe guarding and strength and peace.
Whether or not one believes in God as I do doesn’t matter, the power of the mind and of thought are very strong, and we are all part of this battle. In our minds and thoughts and intentions.

After all what have happened during 2014 i still have no reason to abandon the analyse made by Johan Galtung at the eve of War on Iraq, early 2003. He mentioned that USA will have about 20 years maximum to be Imperior of World. Since what happened in Iraq Galtung have even shortened the US dominance era.
In 2020’s we are living in a much different world than today. The moral and economic collapse of America and EU is consequence of long time change. China is not seeing EU as any kind of powerhouse. Transatlantic idea is like that of Göbbels when he wrote in his dairy June 1941 how “real socialism will be planted to Russia now”. Transatlantic agenda is actually just pure fantasy.
MOSCOW, December 20. /TASS/. Russia will work on tit-for-tat measures following the U.S., Canadian new sanctions, Alexander Lukashevich representing the Russian foreign ministry said on Saturday.
“The U.S. and Canada still cannot put up with the results of free declaration of will in Crimea and Sevastopol,” the diplomat said. “They have imposed new sanctions against Russian officials of different levels and extended bans for normal economic cooperation.”
“Our advice to Washington and Ottawa is to think about consequences from actions of the kind,” he said. “And we shall work on retaliatory measures.
“In connection with the new sanctions against leaders and other representatives of the Donetsk and Luhansk Republics, we are expressing regret about another demonstration of the West’s absolute lack of interest in settlement of the conflict in Ukraine’s south-east,” the diplomat said. “The main precondition here should be a constructive dialogue involving Kiev and Donetsk, Lugansk, while the sanctions are aimed at subversion of the political process.”
“The sly speeches about “caring for territory integrity of Ukraine,” importance of observing the Minsk agreements cannot hide the evident: another portion of the sanction “exhaust” in the U.S. and Canada is to support Kiev’s “party of war,” the foreign ministry’s representative said.

we know from hard-earned experience that countries are more likely to enjoy lasting transformation if their people are not subjected to chaos.
Isn’t that really rich? So the goal is ‘transformation’. Meaning, get Cuba back under our thumb. He gave it away there. He goes on to say that subjecting people to chaos does not result in transformation. Well, maybe he is technically correct, since creating chaos deliberately in country after country, has not resulted in ‘transformation’, but rather Deformation. Ask any Agent Orange or Depleted Uranium baby in Vietnam or Iraq, not to mention their millions lost to death, injury and displacement.
So if Obama can ‘transform’ Cuba into a compliant vassal, that’s just fine, but if not, his jackals and NGO proxies will ensure that Cuba, like the other ‘beneficiaries of US Democracy and Nation Building’, will descend into chaos. This olive branch is a Trojan Horse, and Cuba’s leadership should have said ‘Thanks but no thank’. Like Putin, they should have waited a few more years until the Empire implodes.
Saker, it just shows how desperate The Empire is getting. They’re fast running out of palatable options for containing Russia. Even these recent sanctions and currency attacks on the ruble could reverberate back around and affect Europe big time.
Starting from 1928, the Soviet economy was put under a system of planning whereby all modes of production were socialized and foreign trade was de-emphasized in favor of an autarkic system of domestic demand and supply. The irony was that Soviet central planning adopted much of its effective techniques from successful US experience. It was a system of planning focused solely on unit end-results while externalizing social costs. The key distinction was that the Soviets rejected and bypassed the corporate structure and replaced shareholders with state ownership. Stalin brought about “revolution from above”. Its main features were: strengthening of political dictatorship in the name of the proletariat (equivalent to enhancing management authority in the US in the name of shareholders), collectivizingkulak peasants (equivalent to agri-business development in the US), emergency measure authority (equivalent to government bailouts and regulations in the US), introduction of a five-year plan structure (adopted from US corporate strategic planning) and rapid expansion of urban labor force (equivalent to urbanization in the US), and tight state control over agriculture (equivalent to farm subsidy programs in the US), heavy industry (equivalent to defense contracts in the US) and finance (equivalent to central banking in the US). Between 1934 and 1936 the Soviet economy achieved a spectacular economic growth rate that continued despite political purges of Trotskyites between 1936 and 1938. Economic growth was unfortunately interrupted by war in 1941. German invasion of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics was not independent of apprehension of continued Soviet economic success.
Propaganda works. It worked in the USSR, in Nazi Germany, in imperial Japan and in the capitalist US, each to instill in the general public an acceptance of its system as being the suitable one if not the best, despite visible shortcomings. It helped achieve optimal effectiveness and stability in the overall economy in all these countries.

In some point I stopped to look at democracy as universal tool of well being. One of the thing is that democracy is not able to prevent wars, agressions, exploitation, blackmailing. Worse. So called “democratic countries” are deeply engaged excercising above. I have suspicions that their well being depends on exploitation of other nations. It is incompatible with democracy. Korean economic miracle sparked military dictator. See book: Bad Samaritans. Stability works no matter political system. This why Pepe Escobar use term Empire of chaos.

BTW. How capitalism and freemarket worx in amerika.
Im looking for fly ticket for summer visit my friends in amerika. On ebookers.com
I put fly from Vienna to NYC, non stop flight. But for some reason- I get there thru google.com, first show up oposite flights= NYC-VIE-NYC. The price was change under $ 1500. Then I saw mistake so I switched to depart Vienna to NYC and back. Price was £ 500+few pounds= under $800 after I use currency changer on page.
The same flight, same airlines, same date, same destinations. Just because who departs from USA pay 100% premium top on market price. This is brutal theft.
On other hand I think american oligarchs do not want to working class people travel outside USA and this is done by this “premium.”
BTW. Oligarch versus tycoon. Themoscovtimes.com is using right term as I read there about tycoon, not oligarkh, Pugachev. The same apply to corruption. In western democracies corruption is called lobbyism. This way it not appear on every year CIA produced reports. No doubt that those reports are made for MSM journalists as navigation points so they will always fit narrative of propaganda, as Henry CK Liu pointed out.

” Putin is a GrandMaster Genius Chess Player (GGCP)<®>”
It may lie outside your perception but chess is a limited linear game.
American MIKE WHITNEY writes:

He seems to believe that V.V.Putin is a one man band, even when former German Chancellor Gerhardt Schroder refers to him as a “flawless democrat”
cheers.
We’re never going to fix this problem as long as we have: Central Banking Zionist Controlled governments and a system based completely on fiction. The US is a corporation, ruled by ZOG and their unending criminal organizations, like the ADL and the UN.
The reason why all this tyranny and neglect of law behind a suspended Constitution is happening, is because the mainstream media and Zionism has hijacked the world behind its NWO agenda.
Iceland did the right thing after the 2008 orchestrated economic collapse…they fired all the politicians, jailed the bankers and eliminated the manufactured debt. The only thing I would change, would be to jail the politicians for treason against America and the empire it terrorizes. And throw in the mainstream media for making it all happen.
nothing humane, decent about the u.s. and its leader(s).
the bloodsucking vampire is trying another trick to take over cuba.
