This game, promises and opposite after election, has been going on in West since the 1980´ties.
“If you can fool people one time, you can fool them all the time”, (Mobby Barley).
In this case, the game is some kind of staged televised circus show, pompously called “elections”, with no real choice.
In this case, therefore, “more of the same” would mean “promises and then opposite”.
Keeping this oversimplified, binary logic, the conclusion would be that when a chance of peace is promised, we get in fact more war …( moa’ woa’ )
POTUS has no levers. The broken ship no longer obeys his orders.
He is there only for show … the puppetmasters are well hidden.
No cockroaches, cockroaches have a lot of arms/foot…
I think they are voracious ants soldier, not being able even to wait for the whole team be fullfilled to start bombing Iran, Syria and contending Russia and China harder than Obama…
These, obviously, are Bannon, Flynn and James ” Rabid Dog” Mattis…why on Earth he would have such a nickname?
The two others, could be that they do not have a nickname, but, surely, are so “rabid” than the latter….one have not but to see their faces, expression and so on….not to mention the “pearls” going out from their mouthes….
This is why the Russians, go forward with their plans on preparation to war… .
My take on the cartoon is that it is a spoof on the short term thinking and spectator-it is of the “patriotic” American who expects to be served up with a savior on a white horse, with nothing further required of him or her.
Like enduring a few setbacks in appointments or some executive errors and still fighting for correct policy against all odds. The basic responsibilities of citizenship.
Instead, a rumor or two about John Bolton or Mitt Romney has them wringing their hands with worryeager to end the tension and throw in the towel at the earliest opportunity, as depicted by the short life-span, short attention span insects in the cartoon.
It doesn’t work that way. Expect a long grind from beginning to end of even 8 years of Trump and MSM being totally shaken up and dismantled. Despite successes, despite setbacks the tug of war will last a long time, and the job will not be over in 4 or 8 years, even IF Trump is 10 times better than any of us dare to hope. And that[‘s a big IF that depends a great deal on how good or lousy the American people themselves are.
So enjoy the fact that you are needed, down on the field of action, not in the bleachers sucking on a beer and cheering or jeering. There was enough activation and endurance to make it til Nov 8, and that worked to defeat the Wicked Witch of the West. But you think all her host of goblins and demons are all gone with her? Not a chance: No rest for the wicked. Therefore the good cannot afford to mentally or emotionally slack off.
“The basic responsibilities of citizenship.” What world are you living in? There may be a few citizens posting on here, but for the most part all we have now is fully qualified consumers, people who will queue all night round the block to get the latest i-phone or whatever, but can scarcely be bothered to cross the road to vote, never mind get involved as activists. It’s no different here in the UK, tho’ I think it’s perhaps somewhat different in much of Europe. I will suspend judgement on Trump for the time being, but from an outsider perspective it currently looks less than promising. I will however make one prediction: there are going to be a lot of disappointed people in the blue collar rust belt sector. Even if all the jobs were repatriated back to the US from China and elsewhere, tech savvy dominance of manufacturing techniques ensures that most of these supplicants will be locked out. Maybe Trump and his team will address this and there will be a revolution in re-educating marginalised groups, after all this is what happened when the space programme largely shut down, but they were repurposing people with significant skills/knowledge base. This is no way the same sort of demographic and I’m not holding my breath
sorry, don’t get it.
Guess the idea is that the insectoids / parasites / elites are worrying about the great changes ahead.
I doubt that. That’s not how the system works.
From little I have seen, the newly elected future president already backed down on his belicose intentions of incarcerating his former opponent.
Lame.

W.A.S.P.S? Drone workers? Bed bugs?
They are cockroaches. Colorado beetles. Get it? Murica is infested!
The 3 bugs look like wasps.
I thought they were cockroaches. Complaining that nuclear war will not start, and they’ll miss their chance for ‘full spectrum dominance’. :-)
Well, you almost nailed it.
