Found this today in Ha’aretz:
When Joe Biden was asked about the prospect of an Israeli attack, he said, “though I cannot answer the hypothetical questions you raised about Iran, I can promise the Israeli people that we will confront, as allies, any security challenge it will face. A nuclear-armed Iran would constitute a threat not only to Israel – it would also constitute a threat to the United States.”
Meanwhile on Monday, Defense Minister Ehud Barak has said that Iran does not pose an existential threat to Israel. “Iran isn’t an existential threat to Israel at the moment, but it has the potential to develop into one, and we are working to prevent that,” said Barak, speaking before the Knesset’s Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee.
Amazing, no? It’s like somebody gave these two clowns the wrong scripts…
Either that, or Biden intends to run for a Knesset seat when he is done as VP.
The Saker,
On the Eve on New Year (right?) you asked what to do to make this blog more attractive. I couldn’t answer that time albeit I wanted to. So, let me say a few words.
You should emphasize those sentences, even in red, which you feel carry important information, just as you did in this short note.
But the more so you should do with the longer texts e.g. Mr Nasrallah’s speeches. That’s the added value of any blog I appreciate a lot. One look and key issues in mind. Need them put in broader context? Then I start to read the texts in full.
Anyway thanks a lot for what you did and what you do. Despite the few small squabbles in the past. :-)

@Przemysław: thanks a lot for your kind words of encouragement! Your idea of singling out key sentences, in particular in long speeches, is a very good one. I think that I will give it a try.
Kind regards,
