Delivery of more than 30 new Ukrainian BTR-3E for the Thailand Army have been suspended due to the unrest in Ukraine. A batch of 32 vehicles BTR-3E1 series for Thailand have been produced in Kiev and have already passed the preliminary acceptance in the spring of 2014.

There are reports that Government of Ukraine might decided to use these in “anti-terrorist operations” against separatists.

    http://www.asiandefencenews.com/2014/06/delivery-of-btr-3e1-to-thailand-army.html

Many may see this move as exactly as stated that Ukraine is keeping them to be used in their murder. I see it way different. Kiev needs cash. Best way to make cash is to sell something. Stopping a sale in mid track causes a loss in credibility for future sales. They can not afford this. Since Thailand has made a move to gain some independence from outside influences in their country and seeing the US halt aid to them and the control the US has in Kiev, then logic would tell you that this is just a slap in the face to Tailand by the US.

No hard news. I also don’t believe the results of the clash w a huge armoured column yesterday resulted only in 2 dead russian journalists and 4 dead nats gvardia and 5 captured w 3 female snipers. That sounds like a way of hiding the hard news

An other possibility is that ta little part of the 1 Billion US$ from Obama military help could be used to buy those (why not at higher price for a little bit of corruption) in order to give them to Kiev army..

In the recent shooting down of an Ilyushin-76 on approach to Lugansk airport 40 solders and 9 crew on board were killed. That’s Kiev’s version of events.

Governor of the Lugansk Republic Valery Bolotov has announced that their own investigation at the crash site found no body parts.

“A few hours before the plane came down there had been a battle around the airport. According to our intelligence, it was a battle between soldiers from Dnepropetrovsk and Lviv. Most likely, Dnepropetrovsk troops were killed by Lviv troops because they were preparing to switch sides, and the Ukrainian authorities decided to cover this up and blame us for the deaths. The bodies of the killed soldiers are probably still in the airport. In the plane wreckage we found only a small quantity of weapons and no armor. The plane was empty. Its task was to remove the bodies from the airport.“.

Here is a great article on russophobia.

Imagine that Vladimir Putin were not a murderous autocrat and kleptocrat who has spent his fourteen years in power living up to his KGB past and dragging Russia ever back towards Communist autocracy, illiberalism, and expansionism. Imagine that instead he were the one of the greatest leaders that Russia has had, whose policies have helped produce a massive rise in living standards and life expectancy, recuperation of national pride, and enforcement of the rule of law, who has tackled kleptocrats and gangsters wisely and well, whose foreign policy has on balance been realistic, diplomatic, and conducive to peace, who has presided over a country of which the human rights record is considerably better than that of the …

Well, well. The latest from ZeroHedge is that there has been a mysterious explosion in the Brotherhood pipeline, which flows from Russia through Ukraine into Europe:

It seems that Kiev’s self-destructive rage knows no bounds.

Thanks for clearing that up [dead bodies missing].

I hope lovely Elen will soon be able to bring us some happy news so I can enjoy her natural beauty. Now my eyes run way down at the bottom of the screen in an attempt to keep up with the subtitles.

Many thanks for those translations, whoever you are.

What the Saker is asking for is completely irresponsible. Putin will start the Third world war if he invades Ukraine. Also I am sorry but Tzar Nicholas did not enter the First world war out of love for Serbian people, neither has Bulgaria been liberated from the Turks out of love for Bulgarian people. The reasons have always been geopolitical so I can’t see what the Russians are expecting from those two people, to join the Soviet Union? 45 years were enough I think. The old Panslavic,Orthodox myth is a bullshit. The genetic make up of the people on the Balkans (both Bulgarian and Serbian) is Thracian, not Slavic. Russia has as much right to tell them what to do as Italy (even less as they were part of the Roman empire for much longer)

This is good – demanding that the separatists surrender or run away is now called a “unilateral ceasefire” – especially when the separatists weren’t the ones who started the firing in the first place.

    Ukraine announces unilateral ceasefire

Petro Poroshenko’s plan, announced following conversations with Russian and German leaders, aims to end two months of fighting in eastern provinces

KYIV, UKRAINE—Ukraine’s president said Wednesday that government forces will unilaterally cease fire to allow pro-Russian separatists in the east of the country a chance to lay down weapons or leave the country, a potential major development to bring peace to the country.

The ceasefire is rope to hang PoroChoco. He is expecting surrender?

If he holds back the forces of evil, he can stop them and start them. Thus, he is unleashing war criminals on his own people.

Putin has rolled the Kiev President’s fingerprints on the weapons of assassination of his own people.

In reading about Vlad Putin there is one theme that comes through all his public policies and actions. He is legalistic. In this matter, his counter-move will include criminal actions like the U.S. does with some of its enemies. They chase them internationally as criminals. Putin is using that tact in this.

This legalistic strategy allows some EU politicos to step away from Kiev because Kiev will be officially branded a criminal regime. Leadership will have to be changed in Kiev.

This is what I think is going on.

“Can the killing of the Russian border guard by a Ukrainian mortar attack be confirmed as stated in this news cast?”

Last night I read that the Russian government said no Russian border guard has been killed. Don’t remember the source to I’d post a link. One can be sure if the zionazi had killed a Russian border guards, the Russian government would raise a noticeable stink about it, and there is no mention at VoR and RT of it.

    In brief:

Around 19:00 I was warned that some agreement has been made for a temporary ceasefire, supposedly made for the purpose of evacuating the dead (over 120 of them) from Lugansk airport. I smirked skeptically – knowing when – about 23:00 it would be traditionally violated by Ukrainian artillery based on Karachun and near Karpovka. But I was wrong! The shelling (a very powerful one, with two batteries) of Kramatorsk began already at 21:30!

At this point two groups of Ukrainian SF drove into Kramatorsk on two BTRs, and ‘Bad Soldier’ went to deflect them. It was reported he succeeded and send at least 3 to their graves. We have no casualties except for civilians hurt in the shelling. He will tell the rest of the story himself if he likes.

Thus, the morning was traditionally started from an attack of the roadblocks: the gas station roadblocks and the one on the turn to Krasny Liman. In the first one we shot up the Ukrainians’ hotel (that’s where they have their personnel based) 2 RPOs – one each for the 2nd and 3rd floor, destroyed the machine gun position on the water tower, and calmly retreated, as we did not have capturing the roadblock as our objective. We fired on the 2nd one with an AGS, and something caught fire there.

At dawn, the Ukrainians bombed Kramatorsk with a SU. A miss.

This is the sort of “ceasefire” we have…

Is Gubarev talking about the 3 T-64s, or are there others? With the request for military specialists it raises an intriguing possibility that there are more.

I don’t think it’s some kind of bluff. I believe that they are in the process of “finding along side of the road” a few more operational tanks.

Having experienced & highly motivated tank crews is very important. It is also a game changer.

Imagine a dozen or so NDF tanks with experienced & highly motivated crews combined with a highly experienced & aggressive unit like the Vostok “blitzkrieging the Nats” positions :)

    My hunch was correct:

Захваченный танк и “армия Путина” (Captured tank and army Putin”)

    http://colonelcassad.livejournal.com/1626102.html (trans) http://translate.yandex.net/tr-url/ru-en.ru/colonelcassad.livejournal.com/1626102.html

“Inform also about the capture of repair base with a significant number of T-72 in the status of a heavily used”. From here, apparently, and rumors about – “248 tanks at militias”.
There are many in the current circumstances in the fight’t drive, but if a dozen will be able to create and provide all necessary (including crew), it would be a great help.
Guide DND in advance denied obvious lie on the subject of hundreds of Russian tanks and other delirium about the “army of Putin”, which was carried Kuzmuk in Kyiv.
Of the documented at militias currently 4 – T-64 in a combat-ready state (all taken from the Ukrainian warriors) + unknown number of T-72 that they will be able to recover in the coming days.”

So the request for military specialist are probably people who can repair tanks, as well as men to crew them.
