His Web-bot predictions have a spotty track record, to say the least. However, I find him pretty insightful in regards to the PTB.
His thesis is that the PTB want another World War, as many on this board have said. However (according to him) they have a big problem. They can’t generate the big emotional reaction which they apparently need, to satisfy their purposes. In other words, it is not enough to send drones and nuclear bombs over Iran. For some reason, they need a big groundswell of emotion to precede it.
However, High thinks that the PTB have put their gonads in a vise. They have dumbed down and zombified the population of the Western world via fluoridated water, mis-education, SSRI drugs and goodness knows what else. They have a mass of nebbishes who will push a button, blow away an Iraqi wedding party via remote control, and sit down to supper without thinking anything about it.
Unfortunately (for the PTB), when they need a big emotional reaction of outrage, they can’t generate it. That, in High’s view, is why they haven’t attacked Iran yet.
So, he sees things like the Bengazi killings as their bid to generate an “Archduke Ferdinand event” to trigger another World War. If High’s thesis (which makes a lot of sense to me) is correct, they may or may not succeed in this. In dumbing down the population, the PTB may have outsmarted themselves.
Yes, Ambassador Stevens worked for the Empire; but, he was also a Returned Peace Corp Volunteer.
Maybe, just maybe, he felt he could do some good in Libya. If he hadn’t been there then what friend of Evil Joe might have been there instead? If he hadn’t been there someone else would have. Maybe he felt he could finesse *something* positive while working within the constraints of the Empire.
Just musing…certainly have very little real knowledge about the Ambassador. I just read one source that said he left (safer) Tripoli for Benghazi on September 11th for an oil meeting, while another said he was there “to inaugurate the first “American Space” in Libya. That’s why he went to Benghazi. The center would offer a library, computers with free Internet access, language classes and films.”
Which was it, maybe both? BOTH would fit my above suggestion about finessing something.
Just want to repeat that he was a Returned Peace Corp Volunteer.

Yes, you are right. And when I spoke of Karma I should have made it clear that I speak about corporate Karma, not individual karma. As an ambassador, Stevens just got what he deserves, but as an individual only God can judge of what he did or did not deserve. I am not in any way passing a judgment on him other than saying that by accepting to be an ambassador for the Empire he associated himself with a project with committed so much evil in this world that he should have realized that he might have to pay the price for his masters.
Just listen at how he speaks with glee about the fact that he was the US rep to the Libyan insurgents (nevermind the real USA liaison and boss to the insurgents was, of course, not Stevens but a CIA man).
Like you, I have a great deal of sympathy and respect for Peace Corps volunteers, but I don’t think that doing something right once in your life places you above the consequences of doing what is wrong.
What the USA did in Libya is immoral, illegal, obscene, wrong and outright evil. I am sad that anybody, including Stevens, would voluntarily associate himself with such an ugly deed.
I just listened to a podcast by Clif High. High is the man behind the “Webbot Project,” which many of you may have heard of, at halfpasthuman.com.

Well, we can hope, anyway …………..
