Thanks for my super team of translators who urgently subtitled this one late at night for them and after doing another Poddubnyi video yesterday. A standing ovation for them please!!!
Here is Poddubnyi summarizing what actually happened this week:
He said “Ukies made it’s move, now it’s Russian’s turn”
Greatest summary ever!
Most important it seems is the ongoIng evacuation of civilians; not as reported Russian sympathizers being left to the ‘mercies’ of ethic cleansing.
Russia actually started moving forces out of Kharkiv 8 days ago. Yes, before the offensive. Ukraine didn’t get success, they took mostly deserted outposts with roughly the same quantity of forces deployed in the south, that was defeated easily.
Why would Russia hand Ukraine a victory? Because they had to. The largest attack is yet to come, and it is aimed at Mariupol. Ukraine won’t push past the river in the north, and if they try they’ll be decimated.
Attacks on energy are to depower the train lines from Kharkiv, so all those forces and equipment can’t be transferred quickly to the Mariupol front. We know this is definitely happening due to large concentrations of forces, and Ukraine starting a demining process. Russia is now systematically destroying train loads of tanks trapped on depowered trains.
The grand battle will happen in the next 48 hours.
Since the counter offensive began, Ukraine has over 35,000 casualties, with half of those deaths. Most of the injured will die, or never return to battle. All most all casualties are the results of airstrikes or artillery.

“Since the counter offensive began, Ukraine has over 35,000 casualties, with half of those deaths.”
Where is proof or any evidence of that? And why are they still taking more ground and gathering troops towards other fronts?
These death reports have to be exaggerated estimates, as there just is no evidence of anywhere near that number. At most a few videos showing 1-4 dead soldiers. That is not evidence of 17,500 deaths as you claim. There would be photos, videos or drone shots of hundreds dead if they had lost many thousands.

Exactly. All the casualty numbers are just copiun for Russians. That is it basically.
No proof.
But like you know, there were like foreigners in the UKR attach formations!!! Take that doubting Thomas! Hah!
Tim!
How’s it going dude?
Are you getting paid double to be a troll here as well as at Andrei Martyanov’s blog?
Well, good for you!
Oh! Have you been over at Moon of Alabama, too?
It’s pretty crowded with your coworkers over there but I’m sure you can get your two cents in.
But what are you going to do in a few days when the Big New Offensive winds up like the one in Kherson?
Jump all over the secret Mariupol attack?
Shhhh………it’s a secret. Op Sec and all that.
Well, ciao for now
L
Are you referring to this?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KGvEQTQaTbQ
The 35,000 is just the combined total of casualties as reported by the Russian MoD over the period, including missile strikes on force concentrations, and casualties from across the entire line of contact.
@StratBuff: “Most of the injured will die,”
Actually not. During WW2 75% of cases of wounded were not serious and those wounded from 4.5% to 10% deceased. For instance German army on average had 9% of wounded who deceased. According Soviet sources 6% of evacuated wouded deceased.
After WW2 that percentage has gone down more.
That might all be so, but what are the ratio of small arms fire verse artillery and air strikes? In modern war, small arms fire only accounts for between 10 and 15% of casualties. With the artillery and airstrikes you either get missed, or you get blown to pieces. You’re talking about people with arms and legs blown off, being transported 20-30kms to a hospital that is completely overrun with injuries–in a country that neglected to stockpile blood before launching the offensive. Even if they survive, they’re a crippled and can no longer fight.
People need to put their brains back in, and turn them on, really.
Apparently, the hospital’s are so overwhelmed with severly wounded they are tossing previous military patients from their beds that are not fully recovered yet.
And if the RF keeps the power grid down, how long before wounded start succumbing to sepsis?
You need to look at stats from WW1, I think to do a fair comparison because only in those battles did you see these kind of huge amounts of wounded DAILY for weeks at time.
Just my opinion
I could be wrong
Slava Russia
L
Might I suggest that percentage might go back up?
Modern medicine is way more dependent on electricity to power all the medical mod cons of today, than was the case 80 years ago.
Not many medical schools have ‘units’ on operating on war trauma victims by candlelight. As for ‘sterilisation by buckets of water heated over a camp fire’, haven’t seen any ‘units’ on that, either.
It gets very crowded around an operating table, if you have lots of hands involved to compensate for being DeElectrified.
David and Lauren well said. With electricity apparently disrupted to most Ukie oblasts east of the Dniepr, the casualty rates should spike considerably. Hygiene will plummet = more opportunity for disease and what MoD euphemistically calls “the deprived of combat capability.” Just like in ww1, not the more recent wars. The tempo of demilitarization just went up..
StratBuff, you underappreciate even the damage from artillery misses.. this brought into our lexicon “shell shock” in ww1 and unending horrors since, regardless of how the Liars spun it.. we can expect such catastrophic damages that even most of the physically unscathed of those boys will be out of commission for life. I recently read Russians were pouring on them more arty than even seen in ww2!!
Instant “contactless” denazification AND demilitarization.”
It is much more damaging if wounded survive as they represent burden to enemy much more wounded than alive. Only those who manage to recover enough to return to the frontline are problem. When wounded die, he is no more problem. That is war.
But now, due to body armor, 75% of wounds are head wounds.
Thank you this is much needed in your face type reporting from the frontline. Good to know and see.
Great work on the subtitles.
It’s great to have the subtitles – good work – but I have a request. For those of us dependent on a crappy and very expensive mobile phone connection, it would be far better if you could please please create the subtitles as a “.sub” (subtitle text) file instead of ‘hardwiring’ them into the image, because at low resolution they are totally unreadable. Even at higher resolutions – it appears to me that Russian videos tend to have a narrative that talks very quickly, so following the text is impossible at the same time as watching the video. A “.sub” file is just plain text file, so it has the massive advantage that you can open it in a text editor and skim through the text before watching the video, then watch the video with subtitles on, and it is much easier to follow.
If you upload a video to youtube with properly made subtitles (i.e. subtitles in the subtitle channel not harwired in the image), the videoitself can be downloaded via youtube downloaders (I use y2mate.com) and the “.sub” subtitle file can be downloaded separately using downsub.com (the latter also offers automatic translation, but since February translation from Russian has been mostly badly chewed up, I assume as NATO sabotage). If the filenames are the same the subtitles will load automatically, or otherwise it can be loaded manually when playing.
Getting the subtitles into the proper subtitles would be really great, and really worthwhile!
As a bonus – it would make machine translation of the subtitles into any other language a breeze!
Ukraine will no longer be satisfied with either the surrender of Crimea and Donbass by Russia, or reparations for the “invasion”. Kyiv, together with its Western allies, will seek the complete surrender and demilitarization of the Russian Federation,” Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.
good luck with that
correct. that’s absurd thinking. not going to happen.
@pablozz Gloves are off!
It seems to me that now the fighting has clearly moved from Ukraine -Russia to NATO -Russia, and I really
hope Russia is prepared for the enormous amount of tanks and men Western allies will throw at them.
Best wishes and prayers for the Russian soldiers on the front who fight for all of us.
@ Isammart
The Russians have probably anticipated natzo’s next moves, so, they cut the power. And are probably “scrubbing” the rail lines clean of foreign armored equipment and other debris as we speak.
I believe that most of heavy lifting was made by Ukrainians themselves. Mercenaries may be to some extent valuable as instructors, maybe as operators of sophisticated machinery…..but generally nobody becomes mercenary to die in trench in “real war” combined arms operation. Mercs want to earn double the money for half of risk of ordinary grunt. They like to chase guys in sandals.
I wonder though…. If it is only “mercs”, no confirmation, but being NATO trained, using NATO weaponry and more than likely following NATO strategy, it seems also highly probable that NATO officers and artillery experts are on the ground too fighting with Ukraine.
As far as my limited understanding goes, there are two tiers of Ukranian forces at work. Green trrops, mercilessly, sent to use up and distract Russian artillery – literally human lives reduced to cannon fodder. And first tier military specialists and NATO trained seasoned troops. The ordinary merc, Is perhaps likely part of the cannon fodder tier.
Which western men and weapons?. Stuff from the EU is basically sold out. US has depleted its own strategic reserves needed for its own defense. Raytheon and others have been told to ramp up production but with current infrastructure they can produce on a yearly basis what’s needed in the Ukraine in 2-4 weeks. As the men the second largest NATO army Ukraine is all but gone. Turkey the biggest one has no ambitions to send troops and so do uk/france/Germany AND the US. Will they send insurgents yes sure but this will not turn the tide. To defeat Russia it would take deployment of most of US troops and that won’t happen
Danilov clearly believes that pigs fly and the cow jumped over the moon.
Dream on.
Also useful explanation of terms:
The Russian response to Ukraine’s Kherson counter offensive
https://twitter.com/i/status/1568970965475811334
In reference to media psych’ ops, there is an old German saying (going back to the Middle ages), “Klappern gehoert zum Handkwerk.” Translated ” Advertising one’s work goes along with the work itself.” Any rate, I’m sure you all can surmise the relationships with what is going on in the battlefronts.
Andrei,
Thank you and your team for translating and posting this video. It explains a lot and puts the events of the past few days into perspective.
God Bless.
The key part is that Russia seems to have read it coming.
Professional in all areas, also the translation often missed when wanting to see valuable Russian links. Thanks to Saker team.
I see Ramzan and others had some words with Putin and he is starting to understand the existential nature of this war and is doing in month 7 what it should have done hour 1: shut off the power in Ukraine.
Look how quickly the triumphalism in Ukraine ended when they have to face real consequences for their hostility to Russia! They were shook! Terms of peace have already been given: no hostile military on Russia’s border, if Ukrainians wish to persist in that, let them earn it, do not give it to them for free. You have bent over backwards to hurt them as little as possible, and they just aren’t having it. Now take the gloves off completely.
Destroy the rest of the infrastructure: bridges, water, power, rail. More men are needed: 2 million men in total: 1 million to prosecute the war and 1 million to keep the peace at home: they can rotate. Hostile internal political groups must be annihilated. Do not take ground unless you wish it to be part of Russia forever and you will hold it as such. Promise the soldiers land in exchange for service, some of the richest land in the world by the way. Pump fiat paper currencies into the third world to undermine your adversaries and buy loyalty. Steal all the IP. Explode a nuclear device in the empty desert.
Had this been done at the beginning instead of the Military Abortion, the reservists would have been back in their beds in a month with terms of peace secured. Overwhelming force saves lives – on both sides!
So it’s not a war and the kind of attacks on civilian infrastructure you’re advocating are technically war crimes. Yes, the US does it. But if you haven’t noticed, Putin is a stickler for international law. He just gave a speech where he talks at length about how carefully the Russian case was built based on UN conventions and precedents in international law. It’s worth noting that Ukraine has refrained from a formal declaration of war too, because then the gloves come off.
I’m not saying you’re wrong about the effectiveness. I’m pointing out the complications of doing things those ways when Russia is carefully cultivating non-western public opinion. I’ll go out on a limb and suggest that this only happens because NATO is so deeply and directly involved in the Kharkov offensive.
If the war continues like is has for the last 4 days, Putin will must choose one of the two, either to declare a full blown war to protect the lives of Russians, the civilians and soldiers, in Ukraine, or to deal with the angry family members of the dead Russian civilians and soldiers from Ukraine. Currently Putin might be the most powerful man in the world, but a mother’s sorrow and her tears for the lost son cannot be topped even by the most powerful man in the world. Putin had better quickly realize what’s ahead and take this war with the same seriousness as the Soviets did the Great Patriotic war. Otherwise, he will be toppled from inside. He must avoid getting Russia at the same state of affairs as it was after the first Chechen war.
“but a mother’s sorrow and her tears for the lost son cannot be topped even by the most powerful man in the world.”
You cannot be serious. If this were really so, no war would have ever lasted beyond the first casualty, and we know that’s not true.
You are either an Anglo, or at least have grown up/lived in the Western culture. I also understand that for you and those like you a dead 20 year old soldier is nothing, a statistical error, but for the Slavs even one dead is one too many. Cheers!
Lex thank you for calling this out. Well said.
Realizing the amount of bots used to hype certain perspectives from NATOs side. I believe the aim of their “regime change ” strategy now for Russia is to start backing and amplifying the Russian hawks. The more cavalier the hawk is, the better. It would be a wet dream I believe for NATO to have Russia abandon it’s sophisticated, hybrid war, and just flatten Ukraine. To the horror of the world. This war is about destroying Russia, economically, breaking her up and stealing all her wealth. Indeed, full scale/ belligerent war could also seriously hamper economic recovery and transition Russia is making. It would play right into NATOs hands.
You nailed it.
Ukrops and NATO are attacking civilian and killing them on purpose in DPR LPR since 8 years body.
No war crime?
I don’t even count all the civilians they killed in their gestapo filtration ops. Probably thousand as well, see Mariupol testimonies… Odessa may 2th,many burned alive?Bucha etc..
This is the pain dial being turned up. It has nothing to do with Ukraine having a tactical success. It has everything to do with the direct involvement of NATO forces in the Kharkiv offensive.
The pain dial only goes in one direction, so no power is the new norm in Ukraine.
I see Ramzan and others had some words with Putin
No, that is 100% false.
Give a link or some evidence or get lost
It’s probably in reference to this:
Ramzan Kadyrov addressed and criticized the situation in the Kharkiv direction of the special military operation in Ukraine:
– I, Ramzan Kadyrov, officially declare to you that all these cities will be returned back. Our guys are already there. Another 10,000 fighters are ready to leave;
– In the near future we will reach Odessa, you will see concrete results;
– I’m not a strategist, as in the Ministry of Defense. But mistakes were made. I think they will draw conclusions. When you tell the truth to your face, you may not like it. But I love to tell the truth. We talked with the commanders at the fronts;
It’s a shame that nothing was said for several days. It is clear that people were not prepared for this. We always talk about our work;
– If today or tomorrow changes are not made to the conduct of a special military operation, I will be forced to contact the country’s leadership in order to explain to them the situation on earth. She is very interesting, “awesome” I would say;
– The fact that several villages and cities were given to them, there are several pluses in this. We did not advertise, but we have a special task. Our guys stood up and started their work;
– In the near future we will meet with the military commanders, we will explain to them what patriotism is. Patriots should not be offended if someone did something wrong. We must unite people around ourselves;
– I know one thing. Russia will win. NATO weapons will be suppressed by the spirit of our fighters. Our hands and feet are already trembling.

Excellent report. Top notch job of translating and subtitles. We are in deep gratitude for the teams that produced this video.
I suspect the Russians will be delivering Hell on Earth in the next few days.
Kharkiv will receive every type kinetic warhead the Russians possess.
A truly wonderful job and big thanks to the Saker team for the English subtitles!
Gratitude also to @Larchmonter445 for linking to this Thread from Andrei Martyanov’s blog.
Dear Translators, thank you for the outstanding work.
As others have said, thanks be to this translation team, and to all the translators of this world.
As the nurses are to the wounded soldiers struggling for life, the translators are to the good people on the sidelines struggling for clarity.
Translation team – the secret weapon that wins the information war !!
Remember the thumb rule 1 to 4. If there are 17,500 killed there should be around 70,000 wounded. So we have ask: how realistic are RF reports of Ukrainian losses? They are not realistic at all. They are highly exaggerating just like Ukie media hurray claims of RF losses.
What Russian MoD brief said 17,500 Ukrainians were killed in the northern offensive? That was just a number thrown out by one of the posters. The summary in the video was very informative and clearly indicates the Ukrainian offensive has stalled. Given the artillery advantage and air supremacy of the Russians, it is hard to imagine the Ukrainians having any more success with this operation now that it has stalled.
17.500 is really exagerated..good to be optimistic but..probably ‘sanitary losses’ different from KIA per se, includes WIA MIA
There is another thumb rule. Only Russia has an interest in speaking the truth in this war.
Those ratio’s come from small arms conflicts. Must Ukie/Nato troops will never even see a Russian soldier. This is about artillery and missiles. Either it misses you or it kills you. I imagine dead to wounded is more like 1 to 1 in this conflict.
From my experience that rule of thumb applies only in circumstances where there is an advanced military medical infrastructure. Take the US invasion of Iraq for instance and compare it to Vietnam. The numbers don’t correlate because of the advancement and implementation of timely advanced medical treatment. The UKR doesn’t have the ability to treat the wounded in the golden hour so there are going to be more KIAs then wounded.
Dear Saker and team,
Thank you for the translation, fills a void created by others.
Top notch reporting, and as much with speedy translation work.
Impressive helicopter
Just a thought
RA consolidating/tactical retreating to further south in Northern part
LPR team holding Kherson line
RA 3rd Army mainly dug in near Donbaske.
It seems to me both Kharkov and Kherson offensive are probably feint? which means the real fire power will be from Doneske direction targeting Mariopol??
In my mind’s eye I see another kind of battle of Kursk after which counter offensives from 3 fronts, Kherson to Nikailaiv, Izyum to Kharkov and Doneske to Kramatorsk/slavyansk. By late Autumn the goal of demilitarization may be accomplished.
Had to unfollow a site I kinda liked because they actually are convinced that the Ukies have scored a “strategic victory” and Russia is now about to collapse like the Confederacy in 1865. Can’t give clicks to such lunacy.
As African Canadian psychiatrist and I.A. researcher – Am opposed& abhorred those African American mercenaries ( The permanent Unemployed , Abused,& refuse of Corporate America’s (Duopoly ) post-Vietnam) the ONLy opportunity available for black American male/female ( Ages 18-45)to join US War industry and its permanent war economy (MIC ) since ALL available economic/financial/ Managerial/Academic sectors have Shut-Off to Black America Unless recruited by Corporate (MIC+PMC) Mercenaries for Overseas Wars i.e. Africa, Asia, M.E. ,Latin America and Ukraine .
The Military Summary Channel has another dire scenario for is going to happen. Let’s pray he is wrong:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D4rYrFxkxl4
Remember I warned weeks ago that I thought he was pro-Ukrainian. And in this video he seems to be almost gleefully urging that they attack and take Donetsk. I figured with a West Ukrainian wife, and a brother-in-law in the Ukrainian military fighting in Donbass. That that revealed his true loyalty to me.
I have found the American Will Schryver to be a most informed and informative correspondent on the whole show, and having been very prescient going back to well before Feb (incl way back to mid last year).
He’s been incommunicado for a few days (family trip), and is now catching up. To quote;
“Unsurprisingly, there have been laughably exaggerated reactions at both extremes of the fan section. Most on #TeamUkraine are shit-faced drunk with comical delusions of glorious triumph; too much of #TeamRussia is shit-faced drunk with pathetic delusions of doom…
And now it appears the Russians are ready to reveal the hand they’ve kept tied behind their back since this “special military operation” commenced on February 28th.
It took them all of two hours earlier this evening to literally “turn out the lights” in much of Ukraine.
I’ve repeatedly stated the following in recent days:
“Nothing will end this war faster than continuing Ukrainian ‘counter-offensives’ of the type we have seen over the last few days.”
It remains true.
I will post tomorrow a more lengthy analysis of these developments …”

G Lira is a SBU CIA agent, fakely pro Russian. What is this guy doing in Kharkov in a hotel room for 7 months?By which miracle is the SBU gestapo letting him ‘ free of (fake) pro Russian contents 24/7’ on social media and YT? Is he even really in Kharkov? It may be a cia psyop since day one, when is was ‘tortured by sbu’ it was just plausible deniability? Mercouris and co are turning pro ukies suddenly as they fall in the trap of ‘panic’.Very good it let us know who they really are..MOA also falled in the trap friday(then reacted on a saner way since) and all bullshiters like Dima (sbu) is wife is from Llov, vast majority of TM channels.Lira is a Pinochet fan, it says a lot..
Peter Lavelle (RT), Mark Sleboda idem. Just to name a few.
Strelkov 6th column troll army in full force ”VP must go”..for who are these usefull idiots working for?
Vp should double take care, no one is really 100 % ‘safe’ around him if things don’t go well. People will seek first their survival, money, confort(Peskov for exemple).
That guy is clueless. Do not visit his channels (YouTube & Rumble). One of those “wannabe” military strategists.
I am glad to hear my mother Russian tongue.
Tis foolish to make laws that outlaw speaking Russian.
Might as well out law physics and God
Here we have current and reliable news. There are so-called pro-russian sites out there, which are nothing more than CIA bars and brothels.
Real third ukrop counter offensive (real one), would happen as of next week-end, targets: Donetsk and destroying Mariupol new buildings + control of highway, to send a message to locals: Russia will never save you. 10k fake nato + 25-30k real ukrops as canon fodder in first line sacrified. It was the goal of this night missiles attack, to slow down logistic and provide more time for RU reserve to deploy fully. Also rumors from dgse insider, nato troops (fake peace keepers), deployed in Moldova: target taking humanitarian control of Odessa (no date yet).UK troops (Truss talked about that in July)also present 850-1000.ZNNP Macron negociating with all parties to have UN Peace keeping on site and around(75 kms requested). Macron callep VP yesterday. Kharkov regrouping has also as main reason the real counter offensive coming. RU in the know since mid august. It was first some kind of blackmail but as VP refused they decided to go ahead.Kherson failed counter off. was targetting Crimea.
If you were going to make a tactical nuclearbstrike you would not want to be in that area.
theres some irony from Eu madam saying she be happy to buy ukie electricity not long ago. even zel spoke of exporting to Poland but they will now have to supply Ukraine. the satelite pic from europe at night was Donetsk and Ukraine in darkness. i guess they now know how that feels now.
The Russians are saving their forces. Keeping the fight in eastern Ukraine, backed up to their borders, with short logistic lines is really wise. With the Western arms industry allowing only very limited replacement of used weapons and ammunition, time is on Russia’s side. And meanwhile the counter sanctions are destroying the morale of the rear (EU). And it seems that an offensive against Donetsk (or elsewhere?) is imminent. The power cut makes the internet inoperative. Has the bombing of Ukraine/Otan concentrations already started?
The ability to retreat without major losses is really important. Training, intelligence, tactical mastery and counter-attacks. The joint efforts over several months of the polaks-britons-ukies-US dismantled with so few reinforcements and losses, they must be enraged, especially knowing that everywhere else the Russian offensive continues. Big gains in sight? I hope so with all my heart.
Ukrainian victory would be global disaster
It would actually be American and British victory
It would mean their Anglosaxon absolute global hegemony and dictatorship
When I just think about that I want to vomit
Russia MUST NOT allow that
MUST NOT
Please Russia …do something
Relax, brother.
They are taking this counteroffensive in stride, and I’m guessing they will advance again, when it is all over.
Take a short break from this content. Just to clear your head. The idea of a Ukrainian victory at this point is absurd, and anxiety is unnecessary, if unavoidable for us. The Ukrainians are trading tens of thousands of lives for weak optics, as they care more about image than actual victory. It will be their downfall.
I think the Russians were initially shocked by what NATO had done to the Ukrainians, psychologically. I think by now it has sunk in, that Western Ukraine is no longer the country it was. Russia is not going to yield in this operation, and are no doubt preparing for their own offensive, once they bleed the strategically feeble Ukrainian army some more. .
Here’s something to take heart from:
A member of the Hungarian National Assembly, gave a speech stating that the E.U. has already lost. I imagine that is pretty demoralizing for them, despite the propaganda. I hope this leads to more Brexit-type events.
Just wait four or five days. The news will no doubt be great. if the excessive number of shills on 4-Chan is any indication, the Ukrainians are about to need an epic amount of media spin, very soon. Still, that’s 4-Chan. Take it with a grain of salt. It’s all good,, regardless.
Be well, brother.
The western media are so full of it, it is surreal. They lie and misrepresent or omit facts and insinuate ideas in the naive reader’s mind. They treat their own people such as to keep them dumb, and dumb them down. It is a shame. That’s why I come here, to get a different perspective, the MSM makes me want to puke. Main question on my mind: when will China join Russia to teach these SOBs lessons they will remember for centuries to come?
They won’t.
Neither Russia or China are ruthless aggressors like the west. This is their biggest weakness.
China will look after China. It’s not Russia’s defense partner and it’s not going to enter this war unless it has to for its own sake.
From American view this is a perfect set up.
They control Europe and fight far away from the mainland.
Russia did not strike Kiev so is it really going to bomb NATO states. May be. Maybe too late.
Fear factor gone in West. They don’t fear Russia or China because neither are as ruthless as them.
@ Babak Sayar
@Truth Seeker
In my opinion, I am afraid Truth Seeker is correct . Contrary to Western MSM demonization of the current Chinese Govt, both the Chinese Govt and Chinese people are not as ruthless , immoral and aggressive as the West. They are not saints, but currently a lesser evil than those in Washington, and I dare say, the EU.
Russia is at least more militant but not as dirty and as totally shameless like the Western elites. These less aggressive psyche can be a strength but is a weakness when confronting supremacists like the West which believe in subjugation or else decimation.
The Chinese people actually prefer these things : peace, prosperity, partnership even with rivals, non violent/non war solutions to differences , order and unity within the country . In our long history , we fought in countless civil wars , the motherland was invaded so many times and divided, we had moments we were gloriously great and times we were abject poor pariahs and subjugated by invaders who were numerically smaller than us. So, we generally don’t like warring and subjugating other nations -especially nations far away , ethnically different and no concern of ours. In our culture and civilization , we celebrate the idea of an orderly, peaceful, prosperous and meritocratic society. Many names of ancient Chinese capitals have “peace” as part of the etymology – Beiping, the old name of Beijing literally means “Northern Peace”, Changan the capital of Tang Dynasty means “Eternal Peace” , “Anyang” capital of Shang dynasty means something like bright or glorious peace.
Truth Seeker is correct about the West. The West cannot be negotiated with. They must be struck hard with a painful , devastating and humiliating military defeat to ever be engaged in diplomacy. Otherwise, a ruthless machination to engineer a societal and economic collapse of the US which I don’t think China is currently capable nor too keen to do.
China will never help Russia militarily unless its interest(esp Taiwan) is directly at stake. The Chinese people are generally pro Russia and will support economically and diplomatically but to die in a war in Europe at this juncture? No.
Military-wise, Russia is indeed on its own for now. I don’t know if circumstances will change this. I think China will regret this decision IF Russia fails and falls to become enslaved by the US hegemon. China is next in the downfall list if this happens. But I am afraid China and Chinese people are unable to accept this sacrifice to militarily support Russia. The Chinese want a peaceful rise together with the US(something Russia tried and now is experiencing first hand that it’s unworkable). It is understandable, war is terrible and I would never ever want to be in a war. The problem is the West – we just can’t stop their warmongering without destroying them….I used to think that we can try to live in peace with the US despite our differences, but now I think the only solution is collapse of the US either by some regime change machination or war or both.
My opinion as an ethnic Chinese but part of the diaspora(I am not from China). Maybe someone from China can correct me if I am wrong .
I did not mean China should get involved militarily in Ukraine. Russia does not need such help. They can engineer a collapse by blockading Taiwan semiconductor shipments. Us may retaliate with sanctions, but that will hurt them far more than China. If China waits too long they will lose their leverage. US is working on moving semiconductors back to US.
@Babak Sayar
I suspect China may actually have something in store regarding these “chips wars”. What that would be, I am not sure – but I am guessing the development of native, purely Chinese made DUV photolithography machines . Western MSM had been naysaying Chinese abilities to produce industrial amounts of 7nm chips but recently it has been proven China did so quietly and with no fanfare. Of course that doesn’t mean China arrived at a parity with the West /US in this aspect(Taiwanese or South Korean made high end chips should be considered “Western” chips) as I argued in some comments I made in another thread. But who knows?
I think the problem is the Chinese government is reluctant to break its business + economic symbiosis with the US unless push comes to shove. China benefited and perhaps the Govt still thinks the balance of benefit still surpasses the risks of US sanctions with a Taiwanese semiconductor blockade, and I think the Chinese Govt is correct for now. US can ban the sales of all ASML photolithography machine (now only sales of EUV machines to China are banned) ie including DUV machines which the whole Chinese chip fabrication relies on(including the latest Chinese made 7nm node which was designed using DUV rather than EUV). Such a total ban will be a disaster for Chinese semiconductor industry and US has China by its balls with the ASML monopoly on high end photolithography machines. A truly totally native Chinese made DUV or EUV machine is the game changer China needs to do this Taiwan semiconductor blockade move. I agree with you that the time for China to have this semiconductor leverage is short, and China better come up with their own DUV fast.
I am not an expert in semiconductors but those are my opinions based on my own reading. I stand corrected.
Just like in football (called “soccer” ). The team is in most dangerous situation when attacking fast with 8 players (of 10) and suddenly loosing the ball. Center defenders are normally big but slow runners. Zelensky is the goal keeper.
This ain’t no soccer, nor any other game. This is war, the biggest crime against humanity. People get minced on purpose, other crimes are committed by evil people on both sides.
As none of them claims to have chosen the lesser evil, but that they are doing just and good things, they’re both armies from hell – and they will both go to where they come from. Together with all NATO-armies and almost any other uniformed band of thugs.

Klaus Konopke – since you criticize the cornered just as much as the eternal thug, I miss your solution approach which leaves only (unconditional surrender from the beginning). Who needs such advice?
Some would say Mother Russia bears the banner of the light forces. Certainly NATO does not. Edgar Cayce and Rudolf Steiner both stated Russia has an important destiny for humanity in the age to come. The esoteric Christian impulse humanity needs to maintain inner contact with the spirit is part of the spiritual mission of the Russian people. One might say, the folk soul of the Russian people bears within it this impulse of sanctifying humanity. So a victory for Russia is a victory for the light forces over the diabolic and satanic that sadly has taken over much of western culture as evidenced but the truly sickening woke agenda. In this sense, victory for Russia is a victory for humanity.
The reporter did great work in informing us about what happened.
The translators also performed excellent homework. Congratulations.
What he did not explain to us was WHY did all of this happen [most probably because he did not know that either]? And this is, in my opinion, a crucial question.
The last sentence is the most important, as the first comment, made by Student, so finely put it.
‘… now it’s our military leader’s turn’
Indeed it is, and we are all eagerly expecting it.
Indeed and i hope its massive, the video made a lot of sense because he was on the ground.
Thanks so much for the hard work with the translating/subtitles..Helps immensely.
bellingcat gloats belgorod has no power , but ned price state department condemns russia for the brief few hours power outage in ukraine.

Russia is currently launching a fresh round of strikes on power in Ukraine. Kharkiv is already knocked out completely.
The pain dial has been turned up, and it only goes in one direction. Welcome to the new norm.
Industrial weakness of nato has been acknowledged by Royal United Services Institute months ago, look up The Return of Industrial Warfare, in short Russia is firing as many shells every day as the US did during entire Iraq War, and in first 3 months alone has fired 4x the US’ annual production of cruise missiles
“What you read in the MSM about U.S. arms shipments to the Ukraine is not nearly the whole picture. As usual, they are lying and hiding. They don’t want to admit how large a proportion of U.S. military stocks are going to the Ukraine.
Basically, the Russian army is fighting the U.S. Army, only the “U.S.” soldiers speak Ukrainian
I’ve kept track of Russia’s pursuit of the M777 cannon, and I can tell you, if it was really “just” 154 cannon that were sent, as reported, then the Ukraine would not have many left, today. Because Russia has damaged or destroyed or captured probably over 100 by now. Uncle Sam has clearly sent a lot more than 154
The REAL number of M777’s given to the Ukraine (so far) is probably at least twice the “official” number, and, it’s likely that more are being sent even as I write this. In short, I’d guess at least 1/3 of all M777’s in the U.S. arsenal (and certainly more than 1/3 of the functional ones) have already been flown to Poland and trucked in to the Ukraine.
Another thing is the missiles for the HIMARS. To their great credit, the guys at The Duran (YouTube channel) did approach this topic, though not in detail. It seems at least 65-70 of the shorter-range missiles are being shot off every day, on average, in the Ukraine (about one-third to half of those, shot down by Russia.) Probably a roughly equal number (on average, over time) are being blown up in storage by Russia. This comes out to a “burn rate” of at least 4000 per month.
Reportedly, the U.S. had around 30,000 at the start of the war. The manufacturer, Lockheed Martin, can only make at most 9000 per year, and that’s just “reportedly”, as they’ve never actually made remotely near that many in a year….. and hey, there’s a microchip shortage, and those circuit boards are limited-run, special-order and can’t be delivered tomorrow.
Without a doubt, the U.S. has also sent more than the “officially” reported 16 HIMARS launchers to the Ukraine. Russia claims to have destroyed 7 or 8 (I lost track) so far, and has likely bought one more from corrupt Ukrainian army officers. That wouldn’t seem to leave so many, now, would it? And yet, these things are active on every front.
A convoy of four HIMARS trucks was filmed in the Donbass a few days ago. There must be at least two batteries (three or four per battery) involved in the ongoing north Kherson battle. There are certainly more somewhere in north Zaporozhie. There may be a few in Kharkov. The REAL number sent to the Ukraine is likely about TWICE the “official” number.
Why would they lie about this, in particular? It could be that for marketing reasons for the manufacturer, and “PR” purposes for Uncle Sam (to intimidate China or whatever), they want to make it seem like all the havoc these things are reported to be wrecking, comes from just a few launchers. You know, like a “superweapon.” That’s my guess.
In any case, the U.S. has likely tapped out at 20-some HIMARS launchers (net of what’s been lost), because they literally can’t spare (see above) nor even transport any more ammo for them, even though there are hundreds of launchers in the U.S. arsenal.
As for the Javelins (with their now-notorious battery problems), it seems the U.S. has already provided the Ukraine with almost all the missiles remaining in its inventory. “Only” as few as around 38,000 were ever made, and of those, over a quarter were sold to other countries, and probably about half were used in training (if one U.S. infantry scout shoots off just two in basic training, that’s several thousand each year, right there.) Meanwhile, the USA has gifted around 10,000 to the Ukraine
Lockheed said it will nearly double annual production to 4000, to make up for what’s been given away, but even at that rate, it will take years to rebuild the U.S. stock, and that’s assuming no more are shipped to the Ukraine… and that there will be no training at all on these weapons by U.S. personnel, LOL. Otherwise, the stock may never be replenished
If anyone didn’t notice, not only the U.S. but also many of Uncle Sam’s European vassals have also already given up most of their man-portable antitank weapons to the Ukraine, err, I mean to Russia
What’s really funny about all this, is that (1) European industry is shutting down due to high electricity costs thanks to their Russia situation, so they won’t be backfilling squat as far as their weapons stores are concerned, and (2) the USA won’t be backfilling much either, once Variant X hits and shuts down U.S. industry. At that point, Russia will be free to just roll over anyone, LOL.”
Are you Jacob Dreizin or just some guy posting his comments in here?
Big respect to translators. We should have this speed from the day one. Alas, that is Russian thing…Slow to start, but when they gain momentum they are unstoppable.
Something to keep in mind.
While it is true RF hasnt taken gloves off, neither has Washington.
Neocons are also fighting an existential war in Ukraine. They will not allow RF to “win.”
At any cost.
So we are merely in the prologue to WW3. Get ready
Russia can’t allow the Empire to win because they have much more to lose than a gang of Gangsters in Washington, the very existence of the Russian Federation.
The problem for the US here is that after pursuing First Nuclear Strike for so many years without stopping the developments in strategic weapons last decade mean that it is now RF that has by far the best chance to ‘win’ a nuclear conflict. It is entirely possible that RF could devastate the US and knock out all their nukes before they could use them, or shoot down the few that come through.
I would not take the chance though.

Enough of this nonsense, please! It is sufficient to use some logic — if the Russian victory in Ukraine is going to bring loss to US, a ww3 would bring much bigger loss. And all this without taking into account that US was exhausted by Iraq and Afghanistan.

Hi, I have been offline for a few days …. regarding Tim …
Could you please post some links here to his pearls of wisdom elsewhere?
I’d be much obliged since trolling through all the BS to find them will be tiresome.
Wow! These Russians appear to be formidable fellows, the kind of person one would rather have as allies than enemies.
I agree that while the Yukies did have some tactical success, they did not gain a strategic position while losing a lot of men and equipment.
Thanks for the work involved in sharing this.
Thank you to the people who translated and added sub-titles.
