Anyway it is too late, now we are going for a War(everybody knows that for a few months). But when the war will start Putin must finaly take this patriotic opportunity to clean all traitors, fith column,RCB etc..telling live on tv the ‘why’ of his decision. He will have the people on his side as long as he explains the truth. I guess this is what he is awaiting and still doing nothing.
Check this:
Russia Warns May Send Troops To Ukraine After Congress Unanimously Votes To Give Lethal Aid To Kiev.
Putin is just awaiting that Obama sign the already voted by the Congress ”Ukraine freedom act”.
RF appears to have got the message this time, they will retaliate.
Otherwise there is only one other option:full capitulation from Putin side. But it would be a big mistake, they will attack Crimea anyway, not put an end to the sanctions, and let the oil price fall till Putin is or dead or leave for China or I don’t know where.
Russia’s most famous ex-prisoner Mikhail Khodorkovsky says there is a 50 percent chance of President Vladimir Putin losing power in the next 10 years, but it will take a “black swan” event to produce that result. He spoke with Bloomberg Television’s Ryan Chilcote in Zurich. (Source: Bloomberg)
Putin is not there, where he is, because he is stupid. He did not announce any important measures on his speech, because Russia does not announce, it does act, when the time is right.Besides, whatever he has to announce, will be triggered by something, assume coordinated, with other partners in destiny. Just reposting here… because is one of the most interesting questions.. about today conflict.. of US gov trying to provoke a world war against Russia.
quote ————- ” .Why would the NATO powers, mainly the US risk a nuclear war with Russia.Do they REALLY think they wouldn’t be destroyed in that war.Are there people in power in the US that REALLY believe Russia’s nukes won’t strike the US at full force.Even if Russia was destroyed in that war.The US would be also. Are there REALLY insane people not UNDERSTANDING that.Or am I wrong and is there a way they think they won’t be struck by Russian nukes? =============
And the answer is more incredible than the question. Because apparently There is neoliberal Elite in USA ,that in their wargames simulations against Russia, have shown interest to be ready to sacrifice the lives of millions and millions of americans in a nuclear war interchange ,if in the end they could nuke all Russia important military infrastructure and destroy its economy. The Western AngloZionist are really perverse people ,they are rich people with properties around the world. So they fully Know USA will be destroyed but they dont care.. they are globalist after all and could move to other countries with their #billions before they a nuclear war start.. So the biggest enemy of americans is not Russia or ISIS or Alqaeda. but their own government that is controlled by the anglozionist elite ,that some of them will not mind to sacrifice millions of americans to achieve their global agendas. Lets not forget how they Bush and its elite were ready in 9/11 2001 to sacrifice the lives of 200,000 people on the world trade center inside job attacks. only 3,000 died because the towers did not collapse fast enough. but had them collapse in seconds after being hit,the story will have been much worse..sacrifice american lives for a global hegemony ,justifying many wars fighting imaginary enemies. .
With the passage of The Ukraine Freedom Support Act, he US is now moving full speed ahead to prepare Kiev for a major attack on Donbass. Obama will sign the bill, which will make Ukraine (as well as Moldova and Georgia) a “major non-NATO ally” of the US; this is defacto NATO membership and will effectively bypass European opposition to Ukraine NATO membership. The US is moving directly towards a war with Russia; I cannot help but believe that any such conflict would not quickly become a nuclear war, which would quickly go beyond the use of non-strategic nuclear weapons.
I have written extensively about the long-term environmental conflicts of nuclear war, and have worked as an expert witness testifying about such effects at the UN for New Zealand, Chile, and Switzerland. If you wish to read the peer-reviewed scientific studies on this, go to nucleardarkness.org
A large strategic nuclear war would be a mass-extinction event, which would destroy not only all nations and peoples, but most forms of complex life. Counterforce military doctrine dictates that the enemy’s nuclear forces must be destroyed before they can be launched against you; this is the doctrine used by both the US and Russia for decades. Should a direct military conflict begin between the US and Russia, it may not even require that tactical nuclear weapons be used to trigger a nuclear first-strike, especially if the US believes that its BMD systems could be used to mop up Russian nuclear forces after a US first-strike.
The “winners” of such a conflict could look forward to perishing from starvation from nuclear famine, as well as suffering from massive radioactive fallout resulting from the meltdown of hundreds of nuclear power plants, as well as massive radioactivity coming from the boil off of spent fuel pools (one pool often has several times more long-lived radionuclides, especially radioactive cesium, than were released by all atmospheric nuclear weapons tests combined).
With nuclear war, the main problem to worry about is the destruction caused by the heat and blast. Radiation is a very minor concern which quickly dissipates over a few weeks. It sounds like you’ve been exposed to ant-nuclear propaganda. Remember Fukushima? Don’t give in to fear and paranoia, it makes people look superstitious.
Looks like Hazin is panicking. However. in one of his articles two months ago he wrote about the forces who run the global show behind the scenes. He then concludes that Putin should get rid of harmful officials in Russia at the moment of global market collapse. (Seems that most of the Russian analytic were expecting dollar collapse. But quite the opposite is happening, since ruble is in a free fall, so they look baffled.) I’d love to hear from Mr Hazin if he still believes what he wrote? http://www.dipcomment.com/expert.php?watch=423
Only an individual with no factual understanding of global finance and petro-dollar hegemony would believe the collapse of the petro-dollar system of global financial dominance would/could occur in an overnight fashion. It is and will be a long war. To believe otherwise isthe result of being completely misinformed. Though many of us would welcome the end of dollar dominance of the worlds financial system, its’ demise depends upon concerted and cooperative actions between nations. Forging the required alliances takes time. You can bet your left one Kazin and others seeking to end dollar dominance and what it allows the empire to do are far from baffled. Wake up!
This is what changed me to be so called anti-american. I could not imagine to be in any way related to people who would such things and act like they were the victims in all this. After I found out a few things I could only find disgust where friendships and partnerships were before. After all, How can I look across a desk and see people I was close to before when I know that part time, they were out there killing, torturing and what ever else the rest of the time. Who do you trust? Who can you gather strength from. Especially when they were so gung ho about hitting at gooks and hajis and congs. And no matter what you would think after all this, such things would be looked at as inhumane and inexcusable, yet now we find that the US/UK on purpose kept German war industry alive after WW2 for the express purpose of attacking the USSR using A Germany under their control. So anything goes for god and country.
A humanitarian aid worker said: torture only stopped when I pretended I was in Al Qaeda
Under torture, Libyan Ibn al-Sheikh al-Libi falsely claimed there was a link between Saddam Hussein, al-Qaida and WMD
President Bush mentioned Abu Zubaydah as a success story, where torture saved lives. Zubaydah was suspected of being a high-ranking al-Qaida leader. Bush administration officials claimed Zubaydah told them that al-Qaida had links with Saddam Hussein. He also claimed there was a plot to attack Washington with a “dirty bomb”. Both claims are now recognized to be false, even by the CIA, which also admits he was never a member of al-Qaida.
And the 9/11 Commission Report was largely based on a third-hand account of what tortured detainees said, with two of the three parties in the communication being government employees. And the government went to great lengths to obstruct justice and hide unflattering facts from the Commission.
At least four of the people whose interrogation figured in the 9/11 Commission Report have claimed that they told interrogators information as a way to stop being “tortured.”
For a while, al-Libi was practically the poster boy for the success of the Cheney/Bush torture regime; that is, until he publicly recanted and explained that he only told his interrogators what he thought would stop the torture.
I can’t agree with Mr. Khazin’s critique of President Putins’ speech, and I don’t quite understand why he’s so negative about everything.
He’s clearly wrong when he says at the 01:28 mark in the video, “Our political relationships with many countries, among them sufficiently powerful states, have harshly soured.”
This is from December 5, the day after the speech and before a lot of analysis appeared. Also before the deal with Turkey and Putin’s trip to India. Even so, how can Mr. Khazin think that Russia has less friends now than, say, a year ago?
I guess I understand Khazin’s point of view and his gripes about policy, but I hope he’s had a chance since this impromptu interview to step back and reconsider the speech.
Rather than restate the many articles we’ve read and discussed recently here on this blog, I’ll just point to the Business section of Russia Insider. Reading down the list of recent articles will show the Mercouris appreciation of the speech, two articles by Martin Sieff on the economic policy announced in the speech, and the myth-busting study by Awara group that demonstrated Russia’s signal economic achievements in the last 14 years.
There are several other articles also, all tending to show that Russia IS acting with regard to many aspects of the economy, and that claims of disaster for Russia’s economy are overblown. There are also two articles by Mr. Khazin himself in that list, adding his voice to the debate over the best course for the central bank to follow. Khazin wants to defend the Ruble. Meanwhile a budget surplus has just been announced because of the depreciated currency.
Another article describes the attitude of acceptance of the current situation by the Russian people. So I’m not sure how much to rely on Mr. Khazin’s claim that negativity is widespread and growing at the grass roots level. I think I would need better evidence than his anecdotal claims. I even suspect – since misery loves company, as the proverb says – that Mr Khazin in his despair and disappointment is attracting this kind of talk to himself. But I don’t see evidence yet that it pervades Russia.
I know Mikhail Khazin has been our go-to guy on Russia’s economy, and I’m very grateful for the time he’s given us here on your blog, Saker. But I’m not persuaded to his point of view by his reasoning and claims made here in this interview. Maybe next interview :)
The NSA not only is used for national security but also for economic gains and stealing secrets that give an advantage to US corporations and government. If you have not read the full text it is highly illuminating.
Ericsson of Sweden. Securocrats often turn to the boogeyman of “rogue” nations in order to justify the expense and ethical necessity of eavesdropping on all forms of international communication, but in reality many intercepts involve messages by neutral or allied nations. NSA’s 1993 release of the World War II era “magic” intercepts under foia pressure revealed that US military intelligence read not only messages by Axis nations, but also intercepted and decrypted the top secret communications of Allied and neutral nations. Switzerland was among the more than 30 countries whose messages were being read. Since Swiss-made cipher machines were used by many governments at the time, it is likely that the US has been reading such messages for over half a century. An early example is the use of top secret intercepts by the US delegation to the 1945 founding convention of the United Nations in San Francisco. Fifty years of intercepted communication have given the US and its co-conspirators trade, diplomatic, economic and strategic advantages. By intercepting the “bottom line” negotiating positions of foreign governments, they have been able to shape international treaties and negotiations in their own favor: They will know, for example, the exact health status of the king of Saudi Arabia, the secret financial transactions of the president of Peru, the negotiating position of South Africa’s trade delegation to the World Trade Organization, or the anti-abortion strategy of the Pope in the United Nations. Such information, presented daily to the president and the secretary of state in their intelligence briefings, is extremely useful and allows the US to play high-stakes diplomatic poker with a mirror behind everyone else’s back.
Saker, below is a link below to an article by Wayne Madsen concerning the idea of Israel’s colonization of the Ukraine to recreate an empire of the Khazars. I was wondering what your thoughts on this were. thanks.
“…Closed under the taking of military transport aircraft of the United States and NATO. One of the readers connected in Zaporozhye already confirmed.
His friend at work is associated with the Zaporozhye airport. Next quote: Now at the Airport do a rush order for the installation of defensive towers along the perimeter of the airport. Said that work urgently need to finish, because the order is urgent. Started in late November. Now complete. Yesterday reported that flights from Zaporozhye (a/MS) stop with the 13th. And this is against the wishes of Motor Sich from 16.12 to fly in GMT every day, instead of 3 times a week. Why stop, one of the airport workers reported that serves the airport under the reception of military aircraft technology, including in Kharkiv and Dnipro. Equipment expected from the United States.
In Dnepropetrovsk similar situation, from Kharkiv until evidence not seen. In General, apparently the US does not intend to wait until adopted by the Senate act on military assistance to Ukraine will pass through Congress and boost rearmament troops of the junta. It should be assumed that unofficially come and new military advisers/assistants.
The Russian Foreign Ministry passed an act called confrontational and threatened radical response. Let’s see what this game muscles on both sides will lead.
UPD: there is Already confirmation that unloaded 4 “Hercules” state + meeting between Lavrov and Kerry, which is expected on December 15, urgently transferred to 14.”
Sounds like the zios are about to begin a new phase in their attack on Russia.
Since it’s been said that the greatest threat to Russia is the Anglo-American “Atlancist” proxies inside Russia, here is an article analyzing American subversion campaigns around the world from Cuba to China to Thailand to Iran/Syria to Ukraine.
This article also applies to Russia, as it analyzes these case examples to expose American tactics of sedition that are no doubt being deployed against Russia:
What USAID’s Cuban Subversion Tells Us About US Subversion Globally
1. The United States is engaged in political subversion around the world, disguised as “democracy promotion” and even development aid for “health and civic programs.”
2. It carries out subversion covertly through front companies, proxies, and third-party contractors, then blatantly denies all allegations no matter what evidence is produced by targeted countries, or even Western journalists investigating otherwise undeniable evidence.
3. The US uses social networks, youth groups of musicians, students, and social media groups based on Facebook and Twitter to create the illusion of growing opposition where none exists or exists but constitutes an obscure minority.
4. While the opposition movement engineered by USAID appeared oblivious to US involvement until the end, revealing documents published by AP illustrate just how utterly engineered the movement was, with psychological profiles of prominent members examined and with strategies, agendas, and objectives all determined from the top down by USAID and its contractors. Meeting minutes reveal overt attempts to manipulate individuals USAID sought to bring into their engineered opposition movement with meeting titles and talking points including, “What would motivate them to do what we ask?”
5. Despite lofty claims of “promoting democracy,” US programs are manipulative, insidious, dishonest, exploitative, and deceitful – not only to those drawn into the program, but also both the general population subjected to it in the targeted country and the global audience lied to about the true genesis of such movements when they finally do gain traction.
P.S. Vineyard of the Saker should invite the author Tony Cartalucci to submit his articles as a guest columnist, as he has written on Russia and Ukraine and would be a very insightful contributor.
The dollar will not collapse. The US will not collapse. What will happen is the alliances will fracture. EU and NATO will be diminished.
The counter to this is the developments between China and Russia. This synergy will knock the US off-balance, and the inevitable stock market bubble will shatter confidence again.
It will alter everything. That is why the US is arming itself for insurrection.
It’s greatest fear is an angry American horde in tractors and trucks and pickups and SUV’s taking the Capitol.
Biden will give the orders to shoot to kill. Obama will be taken to a cave in Colorado to wait out the violence.
Wall Street will move to London. The banksters will all be home again.
But the Chinese will own everything in America.
However, NATO and US military will still have power. They will rule from Brussels if need be.
They are globalists, the Elites. They have no need for local US Federal government. It is as important to them as Dayton, Moline or Miami.
“R: I think Putin will do it ‘Crimea ‘style, as in the west going [again], ‘Wtf just happened?'”
That would not surprise me if he did. :) I’m seeing a lot of talk about the Central Bank on Russian sites and media, and much or most is negative. There may be some changes at the CB soon…

Центральный Банк для России: друг или враг? (The Central Bank of Russia: friend or foe?

When someone takes the trouble to translate a video, that means that a transcript is available. Why not, in future, just give the transcript below the video. Whoever wishes, for example, to see Mr Khazin pacing back and forth in a grim winter landscape will be welcome to do so, and those who wish to glance at what he is saying to get an idea of whether or not it is worth their time will also be served. Thanks.
As for sanctions, this is not just a nervous reaction of the United States and its allies to our stance on the developments in Ukraine and on the coup.”
“Nor was it triggered by the so-called Crimean Spring. I am sure, and I want to emphasize it, that even without all these developments, they would have invented another way to curb the growing influence of Russia.”
“The so-called sanctions and external constraints constitute an incentive for more efficient, fast achievement of our goals. We have much to do to create new technologies and competitive products.”
“We are in possession of a large domestic market and natural resources, capital and scientific basis.”
“There are talented, intelligent, hard-working people who can quickly learn new things. The main thing now is to give the citizens an opportunity to fulfill their potential.
Mr Khazim, The world has lost it’s way, and I believe you can talk about economic reforms, political relationships till the end of time, but whatever happens you will still end up a disappointed man. The current world view we hold cannot sustain life on this planet. We need a new thinking, new ideas for life and survival, the wheels of our conceptual cart are frozen deep into the earth and can go no further. We will be forced into the light of new thinking by catastrophe I suppose, there seems to be no other way. “Heaven and Earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away” said one whose birth we are about to celebrate worldwide.
re: Putin’s playing for time. He has to make a personal switch in order to make the political/economic decrees necessary–somehow he has to meld more with the needs short and long term of the core of the Russian people. This may sound woo-woo to some but it is part of his personal tryst with destiny. People get the leaders they deserve so with the internet the Russian people can start to have more than just a mystical interaction with Putin. Thanks for the timely translations As for getting money from off shore accounts, with the dollar kept artificially high these days, do not even think for a moment that this is a possibility.
Sorry off-topic again! Regarding Front National (FN) party in France. The number two in the party and closest man of party leader Marine Le Pen has been outed as gay. Closermag.fr published an article showing Phillippot on a vacation with his boyfriend in Vienna (Austria).
What is special about this, is that the FN is the lonely voice against gay marriage in France, while Phillippot’s partner is apparently (his identity has not leaked) a journalist and gay-rights activist. Phillippot himself has never been attending the anti-gay marriage rallies. This begs the question if there is a conflict of interest, or if the rejection of gay marriage by the front national is genuine.
@Ketsa They are human and need have human needs… Western consumer culture has infiltrated everything, it is already amazing to the Western “brains” that Russians are standing strong now!
At this point, present U.S. and Western European investment in Russia and all future investment should be made, as John Maynard Keynes described labour wages as being, *sticky*, e.g. only possible when made in gold, and subject to contract stating purpose with an estimated time frame for accomplishing purpose. The gold buys an investment Rouble having some multiple of Russian internal currency but pegged to the commodity gold of that moment created. Such investors are free to sell their investments on whatever market willing to buy but the buyer is holder in due course of the original contract until it expires upon fulfillment. At such point, the invested gold becomes liquid and either remains with the investment or is used to close the investment. The Asian *Tiger economies* were brought low because capital was not made sticky with the exception of Malaysia alternatively instituting a measure of capital controls.
Problems are announced when their solution has already began.
Oblomovism is a strategy being employed by the Atlantacist rump. That is it looks like a strategy when in reality it is a final retreat.
Praise may well be followed by decisive action, I hope this is the case. A lot of things have been put in place. I suggest two things might be happening:
1) the Oblomovs are about to be dismissed piecemeal. 2) The US may actually be on its last legs, so just waiting is the best strategy.
the United States has a long record of inflicting torture on others, both at home and abroad, although it has never admitted to such acts. Instead, the official response has been to deny this history or do everything to hide such monstrous acts from public view through government censorship, appealing to the state secrecy principle, or deploying a language that buried narratives of extraordinary cruelty in harmless sounding euphemisms.
the benign sounding CIA “Phoenix Program” in South Vietnam resulted in the deaths of over 21,000 Vietnamese. As Carl Boggs argues, the acts of U.S. barbarism in Vietnam appeared both unrestrained and never ending, with routinized brutality such as throwing people out of planes labeled as “flying lessons” or “half a helicopter ride,”[2] while tying a field telephone wire around a man’s testicles and ringing it up was a practice called “the Bell Telephone Hour.”[3] Officially sanctioned torture was never discussed as a legitimate concern; but, as indicated by a few well-documented accounts, it seems to be as American as apple pie.[4]
FBI, working under a secret program called COINTELPRO, designed to assassinate those considered domestic and foreign enemies.[5]
Is this what Putin is aiming for? Sanctions lifted for bailing out Ukraine — While Russia is certainly part of the problem, the West may ultimately find Moscow is part of the solution to the Ukrainian financial crisis: the first sign that Ukraine has reached the end of its financial resources would be failure to pay energy bills to Russia for gas, leading to the prospect of Russia cutting off supplies in mid-winter, say energy experts.
Such a move could force Ukraine to take gas from the transit pipeline to Europe, imperiling EU gas supplies. But the EU is seen as holding an important carrot to induce Russia to bailout Ukraine via continuing energy supplies despite non-payments: lifting of the crippling Western sanctions imposed on Russia, a move that is also supported by a strong business lobby in the EU.
Either way, Ukraine is sure to leverage geopolitics in its search for an expanded bailout, says Olena Bilan, chief economist at Kyiv brokerage Dragon Capital.
On December 10th, the office of Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko drew up plans for a huge graveyard to accommodate 250,000 corpses for its soldiers in the Government’s renewed military plan for next year to conquer the regions of Ukraine that reject the coup-Government that was imposed upon all of Ukraine when the United States hired mercenaries to carry out a coup in Kiev on 22 February 2014 (under the cover of the “Maidan” anti-corruption demonstrations), which overthrew Ukraine’s democratically elected President, Viktor Yanukovych. The rebelling regions of Ukraine are those which had voted about 90% for Yanukovych.
The post-coup Government then started a military campaign on May 2nd to kill as many of the residents in the anti-coup areas as possible and to drive the rest to seek refuge in neighboring Russia, so that they will lose their Ukrainian citizenship and won’t ever again be able to vote in Ukraine.
Unless those voters can be gotten rid of, the coup-regime won’t last; it’ll be voted out of office. Thus, all of the Ukrainian Government elections post-coup have been only in the other areas of Ukraine, the ones where the coup was either welcomed or accepted: Yanukovych had won less than 50% of the vote in those areas of the country, and those elections had their highest turnouts in the most-strongly anti-Yanukovych districts. The post-coup regime is determined to keep the land in the rebelling areas, but to get rid of the people who have lived on it.
Because of the enormous expense of this ethnic-cleansing campaign, the debt-level of the Ukrainian Government is soaring, and the Government is able to keep functioning only via money coming in from the IMF, EU, and United States.
More evidence of how truly warped the Americans are.
At the same moment that revelations about US CIA torture are being admitted and mass rebellions over police-state terrorism brew from Ferguson to New York to Oakland, Americans now have the gall to slap economic sanctions on Venezuela on bogus “human rights and democracy” pretexts!
Americans are an Orwellian nation that instinctively and brazenly project their crimes onto other nations, accusing them of what America is guilty of a million times over.
This is a defining pathological feature of the America Mentality.
Regarding “Damian Flynn’s” comment, partially quoted here: “Radiation is a very minor concern which quickly dissipates over a few weeks. It sounds like you’ve been exposed to ant-nuclear propaganda…”
Egads, man! Talk about begging the question and ignoring the main thrust of Steven Starr’s argument!
Leaving aside the questionable assumption that radiation is a “minor concern” (I guess millions of extra cancer deaths are minor to some people, indicative of some kind of moral madness), his main point was how some form of nuclear winter would be assured, leading to the starvation of hundreds of millions minimum, and potentially leading to the demise of most higher life forms.
I guess some people want people to think nuclear war is an option. Again, a form of moral madness that will be lethal.
British Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond says five Ukrainian servicemen who were seriously injured in clashes with pro-Russia forces will receive treatment in the United Kingdom. _______________________________________ UKUSA have created the war in Ukraine
14/12/2014/ Khazins is so right. Putin has messed up by kowtowing to his anglo enemies he even stopped Mr. Yanukovych the previous president of Ukraine to act against the terrorists in maiden -so that the west does not blame the president! Putin never helped any of his allies-that is why Russia today is alone. and facing the same sort of sanction and creeping war as Russia helped west put on her allies like Iran, libya, Syria and Iraq put on through UNO. even two days ago russai still allowed anglos to occupy Afghanistan through UN resolution-instead of making that occupation illegal and then letting mass killing of anglosaxon troops be started through arming of freedom fighters in Afghanistan as anglos did with muzzaheddin.!
THE HONEY: Once upon a time, 1907 to be precise, the NWO gang made a sweet offer to Tsarist Russia: “Join the British-French in the Triple Entente Alliance. When the coming Great War against Germany & Turkey is settled, you’ll get Constantinople (Istanbul) back from the Ottoman Turks who conquered the great city of the Orthodox Byzantine Empire in 1453.”
THE STAB-IN-THE-BACK: World War I proved devastating for Russia. The NWO-funded Bolsheviks used the disaster to bring an end to the Russian Empire and usher in a reign of Red Terror. Britain and France refused to grant asylum to their ally, the Tsar. The NWO Bolshevik-Communists then murdered the Tsar and his entire family.
Thank you Saker. Thank you translators Bernie & Alex. You have enabled us to think about what otherwise wd have been hidden from us, in the Russian language.
I know that Putin said that the law wd be the supreme power in his administration, but surely there are legal means to invigorate the economy upon which all depend. If the Duma has corrupt members because the media has been too long in the control of foreigners they must be unseated or over-rode– thru Presidential emergency powers perhaps.
Khazin says there is discontent w current management, so perhaps the moment has arrived when Putin can act.
Khazin is saying obvious things (I listened to him in original), and I have yet to meet a person in Russia who would disagree with what Khazin has said. The only person is obviously unaware, probably because he has no television and no Internet access, is Putin himself.
Saker, you may have already seen this, but perhaps some of your blog readers haven’t. It’s a open letter from Elena Bondarenko detailing the illegal threats and attacks endured by opposition lawmakers in Kiev since the coup:
I remember that you once featured Bondarenko on your blog. She is (was?) with the Party of Regions. Although the letter was written before the elections, they apparently only recently got around to translating it into English at FortRuss.
From an Angelo to an Angelo, take Wayne Madsen with a big dose of sea salt….No comment on the article, I haven’t read it but Madsen’s track record isn’t great, if I’m wrong I don’t mind being pointed in the right direction.
Alien Tech, No! “Anything goes for God & country.” No, don’t be misled; they are not doing this for America or Americans; they do it for their dream of ruling an entire planet– just them, the internat’l oligarchs.
They don’t care how many they kill cuz they plan to vastly reduce the population anyway.
GRIEVED: I think you’re correct criticize Khazin about his inference that it’s Putin’s fault relations have soured w some countries. And yes the Amara report was great in showing the health of the Russian economy over the past 10 years.
But Grieved, things have begun to go bad economically. Every Russian economist we’ve heard from blames the CBR and its IMF rules & the neoliberal regime that it expresses.
The Russian econ has been put under stress by decreased oil prices, credit sanctions & ruble speculation, It is precisely the CBR that most act to offset these stresses, but it is acting to worsen their effect. This is an emergency, but the econ half of Putin’s speech failed to do more than cheerlead the present econ actors. It’s one comment about the CBR was approving!
Now there is either surrender or action to support those fine multi-polar words. I pray for Putin to have strength & clarity against the forces of darkness.
DAMIAN FLYNN: You are wrong about the radiation from nuclear armaments dissipating quickly.
-There was a report by an epdemiologist who demonstrated increased mortality in California following Fukishima- especially among fetuses and children, due to faster cell-division. There will be increased cancers for many decades. (Sorry, no link)
-In Fallujah, even the ‘depleted’ uranium weapons now cause so very many birth defects & neurological damage among previously healthy kids that doctors have told people not to have children.
-Wherever studies have been done around nuclear reactors they’ve found increased leukemia, cancer, etc.
not on this subject, but I did mention a while that NOTAMs would give us a clue to the state of ops in Ukraine, well here’s a piece of the puzzle through one:
Charles Fasola said… “Only an individual with no factual understanding of global finance and petro-dollar hegemony would believe the collapse of the petro-dollar system of global financial dominance would/could occur in an overnight fashion.”
Thank you Charles. I suspect you’re right in the normal course of things & I don’t know what special stresses might be brought to bear to change this– except a few really big players withdrawing from the IMF-controlled central bank system. Is that doable? Of course they’d need an alternative to SWIFT.
One fiction I see repeated ly is the idea that US will run out of gold. This doesn’t seem realistic to me cuz it’s being mined and much of this new production is sold, so of course US must be buying some w their worthless “free” dollars. Perhaps they’re keeping the price down thru short-selling in order to BUY more. Refusal to return all Germany’s gold doesn’t necessarily mean they don’t have it, just that they don’t want to give it up. Anyway you can be sure that the oligarchs have personally got a lot of it.
I think a lot of the hype that dollar collapse is imminent originates w the gold dealers. Thanks for bringing some sanity to the discussion.
I think that Mr Khazin has an overly simplistic view of the processes within the Moscow Kremlin and between Russia and the United Snakes.
Putin might not only dealing with a US induced economic crisis, but also with the possibility of a full nuclear war.
Whatever he and his surroundings decide, they probably cannot talk about it before they are not 100% sure that their plan or their fall back plans will work.
And the main goal is surely to find a diplomatic solution with the USA in this crisis, this option will be explored until there is no other choice than to act.

Anonymous, Do you have the screen too large so that you are cutting them off? Make the screen smaller, then you see the translation icon & also the full screen icon.

Good idea, Anonymous. I can’t read the transcript & look at the speaker at the same time, anyway. Just give one still of the speaker so we remember who he is & then the transcript. Probably easier for the translators too. Thank you.

I really value the caution that is so obviously a character trait of Khazin. He is totally on Russia’s side and should be listened to…I believe he is a close associate of Glazneyv and they share the same views, although are different temperaments.
I agree that Putin should do something about the economy and I hope he manages to do it before things get out of hand…too much positivity is as bad as too much negativity.

Declaration on State Sovereignity of Novorossiya-DECEMBER 14, 2014 The source is official site of the organs of Donetsk Peoples Republic and it does look official, but authenticity still needs to be confirmed. Adopted by the Congress of deputies of all levels 12 December 2014. On the basis of principles of international law and the UN Charter, including the right to self-determination, and the will of the people to the formation of a sovereign state, clearly expressed in the referendum of may 11, 2014, the Congress of deputies of all levels adopts the present Declaration on the State Sovereignty of Novorossiya and proclaims the formation of the Union of Sovereign Republics of the state of Novorossiya.
1. Novorossiya is proclaimed as the state Union of Sovereign Republics, in recognition of the continuity of the Contract for the formation of the USSR from December 30, 1922. Members of the Union of Sovereign Republics are any administrative-territorial formation of the USSR in any form recognized on behalf of the people and support the Agreement on the establishment of the USSR from December 30, 1922, as amended on December 12, 2014.
2. The bearer of sovereignty and the only source of state power is the people of Novorossiya. People have the right to armed defence of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Union of Sovereign Republics, the free possession of weapons, the formation of the people’s armed police, the direct election of its commanders, and the formation of armed militias in the event of war and the threats to its sovereignty.
3. Novorossiya cancels all political ties with the former state of Ukraine, is not and does not aspire to be part of a common political space. Novorossiya as a free and independent state has the authority to declare war, conclude peace, contract alliances, engage in international trade, and to take any other action which is entitled to any independent state.

Uh-oh.
Is Putin listening?
My friends from Urals tell me that “The financial hardships make us feel like we are back in the 90-s”.

Otherwise there is only one other option:full capitulation from Putin side.

My bet,he will stay and fight.

Just reposting here… because is one of the most interesting questions.. about today conflict.. of US gov trying to provoke a world war against Russia.

” .Why would the NATO powers, mainly the US risk a nuclear war with Russia.Do they REALLY think they wouldn’t be destroyed in that war.Are there people in power in the US that REALLY believe Russia’s nukes won’t strike the US at full force.Even if Russia was destroyed in that war.The US would be also. Are there REALLY insane people not UNDERSTANDING that.Or am I wrong and is there a way they think they won’t be struck by Russian nukes?

And the answer is more incredible than the question. Because apparently
There is neoliberal Elite in USA ,that in their wargames simulations against Russia, have shown interest to be ready to sacrifice the lives of millions and millions of americans in a nuclear war interchange ,if in the end they could nuke all Russia important military infrastructure and destroy its economy.

Since it’s been said that the greatest threat to Russia is the Anglo-American “Atlancist” proxies inside Russia, here is an article analyzing American subversion campaigns around the world from Cuba to China to Thailand to Iran/Syria to Ukraine.
“USAID Exposed in Cuba – What it Tells Us About US Subversion Worldwide”
http://landdestroyer.blogspot.com/2014/12/usaid-exposed-in-cuba-what-it-tells-us.html#more
This article also applies to Russia, as it analyzes these case examples to expose American tactics of sedition that are no doubt being deployed against Russia:
They own the world, they think.
I am not seeing the translation lines at the bottom of the video?

Mr Khazim,
The world has lost it’s way, and I believe you can talk about economic reforms, political relationships till the end of time, but whatever happens you will still end up a disappointed man.

People get the leaders they deserve so with the internet the Russian people can start to have more than just a mystical interaction with Putin. Thanks for the timely translations

They are human and need have human needs… Western consumer culture has infiltrated everything, it is already amazing to the Western “brains” that Russians are standing strong now!
As I listened to this, a thought ran through my mind.
The statements (largely) could apply doubly to the US (and G7.

Is this what Putin is aiming for? Sanctions lifted for bailing out Ukraine
—
While Russia is certainly part of the problem, the West may ultimately find Moscow is part of the solution to the Ukrainian financial crisis: the first sign that Ukraine has reached the end of its financial resources would be failure to pay energy bills to Russia for gas, leading to the prospect of Russia cutting off supplies in mid-winter, say energy experts.
Ukraine Prepares 250,000 Graves for Its Soldiers

Who are Obama and the US Congress to sanction Venezuela?http://www.wsws.org/en/articles/2014/12/13/vene-d13.html
Unfrigging believable.
Americans are an Orwellian nation that instinctively and brazenly project their crimes onto other nations, accusing them of what America is guilty of a million times over.
This is a defining pathological feature of the America Mentality.
Regarding “Damian Flynn’s” comment, partially quoted here:
“Radiation is a very minor concern which quickly dissipates over a few weeks.

Putin has messed up by kowtowing to his anglo enemies
he even stopped Mr.

RUSSIA: 1907
THE HONEY:
Once upon a time, 1907 to be precise, the NWO gang made a sweet offer to Tsarist Russia: “Join the British-French in the Triple Entente Alliance.
It’s a open letter from Elena Bondarenko detailing the illegal threats and attacks endured by opposition lawmakers in Kiev since the coup:
http://rinf.com/alt-news/editorials/open-letter-world-blocked-ukrainian-parliamentarian/
I remember that you once featured Bondarenko on your blog. She is (was?) with the Party of Regions. Although the letter was written before the elections, they apparently only recently got around to translating it into English at FortRuss.

You’re bright; please educate yourself about this. Somebody’s told you lies.

Charles Fasola said…
“Only an individual with no factual understanding of global finance and petro-dollar hegemony would believe the collapse of the petro-dollar system of global financial dominance would/could occur in an overnight fashion.”
Sweden is paranoid- after the phantom sub, comes the phantom plane in near collision with passenger plane:
Sweden says Russian military jet in near collision with passenger plane
(Reuters) – A Russian military jet nearly collided with a commercial passenger airplane in international airspace near southern Sweden on Friday, Swedish authorities said, but Russia insisted its jet had kept at a safe distance.
Russia responds: “The flight was being made strictly in compliance with international air space rules, not violating borders of other countries and at a safe distance from traffic routes of civilian aircraft,” he said, noting the warplane was at a distance of more than 70 kilometres from the flight route of a passenger jet on the way from Copenhagen.
[.]
“The Swedish defence minister’s statement about reported ‘invisibility’ of the Russian warplane due to switched-off transponder for Swedish air controlling services is an allegation,” Konashenkov said.
“Flights of NATO warplanes which have become threefold more intensive in the last few months are always made with switched-off transponders in international air space near Russian borders,” he noted.

Good idea, Anonymous. I can’t read the transcript & look at the speaker at the same time, anyway. Just give one still of the speaker so we remember who he is & then the transcript. Probably easier for the translators too. Thank you.

Declaration on State Sovereignity of Novorossiya-DECEMBER 14, 2014
The source is official site of the organs of Donetsk Peoples Republic and it does look official, but authenticity still needs to be confirmed.
