Dear Saker, I read your article about the West’s ignorance of Ukrainian atrocities. However, I think the main reason is on the pro-Russian side: until now there hasn’t been any systematic effort to catalogue abuses. Please try to find a website where you can send someone with pro-Kiev view to convince him of the existence of such atrocities. There isn’t one.

Sure, one could find a lot of news articles about such atrocities. But they are current rumors – they are not the product of thorough research that keeps going on after the subject has lost its news value.

So now the ruble is collapsing. The big money is leaving Russia. Sanctions are maintained. Absolutely no counter sanctions from Russia.

I have trusted the saker for a while, but you now have to admit that the situation is dire.

How long can this last?

In fact everything that Russia has done in the last couple weeks underscores weakness, including that Rogozine interview that everyone found wonderful.

I did not think it was reassuring at all because all throughout the interview Rogozine reminded everyone that the Russian military was not ready for a conflict, that things would be better by 2020. 2020?

To me that was an invitation to NATO to attack before 2020.

If you didn’t simply cherry pick for that “specific” article, you obviously have not been paying much attention or are just engaging in trollish behaviour.

The simple facts that have gone cirtually unreported are that the momey changers are de-Dollarizing rather quicky. The Xity of London is now providing access to treasuries in Chinese currency and more recently the EU has decided to trade in Euros and Yuan between themselves.

On another note, just look at Hong Hong and Ukraine and how their respective “protests” ended and then suddenly became re-invigorated by pro-democracy western players.

The difference, thus far, is that China knows this game well and will afford the protesters time to fizzle out as the economic situation deteriorates and the real majority turns on them. This will also include a swift purge of agent provocateurs and the 5th and 6th columns. As the “evidence” is gathered and documented the roundups will begin in earnest. Surely the ever ominous “snipers” will be dispatched as the USD begins to get hit hard and this will certainly factor into the equation when the time is right.

If one were to look at how the US “led” coalition in Syria/Iraq is being shaped by propaganda and that the fraudulently “elected” govt in Afghanistan has suddenly decided to allow US troops to stay beyond their mandate, a strange pattern may take shape.

Add to that the freefall at PIMCO and the secret tapes from the NY Fed/Goldman collusion along with the revelations that “foreign” banks are raking in Fed profits via QE schemes while raping taxpayers, the USD is becoming risky and only survives due to speculators and offshore investors.

It could be argued that the US is simply being “led” into the final cauldron in the Middle East in order to assure the USD Fiat dies a slow and painful death that will allow globalist insiders the opportunity to leverage and secure their assets within the Yuan while exhausting the rest of their USD holdings by hedging their investments into the global MIC and tangible commodities markets while they still can.

In other words, China invests in the “long” plays while the fledgling West loses the “short” play investments by way of a slow, the sudden, death by a thousand cuts…

Strelkov’s press-conference has been moved to the next week. The reasons for this are partially technical and partially political in nature. Colleagues – correspondents of the federal mass media outlets – informed me privately about a ban not only on showing Strelkov, but also on mentioning his name altogether. Democracy, as widely known, is the rule of democrats, and it is they who determine what is meant by freedom of speech.

Interesting and stinking game: One of the main organizers of the Odessa massacre, Dmitry Fuchedji, the then deputy chief of the police for the Odessa region (many remember him from the videos where he was seen organizing the Nazi thugs and coordinating their actions with the police) gave an interview to a Russian reporter after the junta just named him as the main culprit and principal scapegoat of the Odessa massacre with 23 other people.

Fuchedji denies his own guilt and responsibility. He claims that the Odessa massacre turned out to be bigger than how it was planned, and he talks about a super-secret meeting of the security officials with Parubiy, but then when asked what the secret meeting was about, he claims that he can’t remember and that it was about “nothing”–just to keep them in a room.

But he does names Purubiy and the then Odessa governor Nemirovsky as the main organizers–with a full approval and backing by Yatsenyuk and Turchinov. The massacre was very carefully planned. The massacre itself was organized as a two-stage operation. The second operation had a code name “Plan Khvyliu.” The objective was to destroy the anti-fascist Kulikovo field and to pacify Odessa under Kiev’s neo-Nazi rule.

Soon after the Odessa massacre, Fuchedji, fearing for his life, fled Ukraine and he now lives in hiding in Transdniestria, an unrecognized state managed by Russia.

Evidently, Moscow is keeping Fuchedji there–without either charging him and making him testify in a more compelling way against the Nazi junta in Kiev.

Btw guys I just flipped through an old atlas of the USSR here in Tbilisi where I’m on vacation. I noticed that most of the republics were a calico of ethnic groups, but to my surprise Ukraine was all one solid colour. No mention of Rusyns, Hungarians, Moldovans, Russians, or anything. As I recall, Rusyns were catalogued as ‘mountain ukies or similar. Anyway, it’s tragi-comic to see how soviet ethnic and national policy is a victim of it’s own success. Once she took the microphone, President Kirchner explained that Buenos Aires saw merits in the UN Security Council Resolution 2178, but said that Argentina had several important questions and hesitations. Her questions were really criticisms of the US, at least partially. She started off by pointing out how in 2013 there was pressure on Argentina from the US Congress when it signed an agreement to cooperate with Iran to address the 1992 and 1994 terrorist attacks inside her country. She explained how Argentine dialogue with Tehran in 2013 was deemed unacceptable and that her country was slandered as a terrorist state, but how it has been okay for Washington itself to talk to the Iranians. After this Kirchner mentioned that Al-Qaeda did not emerge overnight and was trained to fight against Moscow. Then she said that the Arab Spring was spearheaded by the same type of militants that have formed the ISIL, but that these combatants were presented to the world by the US as “freedom fighters” in 2011. Perhaps she was trying to point out how ISIL’s strength and reach has been deliberately exaggerated to justify US intervention, but she then told the entire UN Security Council that Argentina did not take the ISIL threats to kill her seriously.

I’m not ‘blaming russia’ or ‘relativising’ anything. USSR policy was not simply russian policy. Nationalism in Ukraine is a very complex phenomena and not simply US, Galician, Soviet or Bogdan Khmelnitsky’s ‘fault.’

The real Ukrainian homeland is half in Southern Poland, half in the adjacent corner of Ukraine. Russia. Generally Novorussia was conquered from the Turks/Tatars under Catherine the Great. It never has been Ukrainian the way the NW has been.

Actually, I think that Ukrainian nationalists know full well that they’ve lucked out by being gifted, at least temporarily, a huge territory that they have no pre-soviet claim on. I think they know that they are continuing and perverting a process of nation building that goes far before them. The point of enforcing only Ukrainian language is to make that Soviet map come true – to make Ukrianians out of Russians, Rusyns etc and secure a vast land and population for the vicious bourgiois elite. Novorossia was tacked onto Ukraine for logistical reasons and painted ethnically Ukrainian in the 1970s Soviet atlas I just saw.

A similar thing happened in China after 1911. The Ethnic Chinese masacred the largely impoverished Manchus and inherited huge lands that the Manchus had conquered, probably an area larger than the ethnic Chinese area. Since then they’ve been slowly Sinicizing the subject peoples. PRC ethnicities policy has been formally based on the USSR’s but in practice, much more racist/ethno-chauvinist. More Ukie than Soviet.
