Love the Irish and their no-holds barred criticism of the EU’s stupidity!
I second that. Irish have courage to speak the Truth.
Most of us do, but we do not control the MSM, policies or guns.
Claire Daly is a true human being, and a good public representative, but she is a minority in Irish politics, which is very sad.
Ireland is run by the maggots the British left behind, they took control with the military backing of the British Empire, even while those butchers were leaving in 1922.
At least one MEP must have slipped through the political vetting process.
But what does she really think??
Bugga you Tom, bringing to the fire my cynicism about all polititians.
Makes me proud to be half Irish! Go get ’em Clare!
Yep, and so are the Irish. They even named a whole County after her.
Co. Clare was always one of my favorite places to visit as a kid, salmon fishing on the Shannon, or a stroll on The Burren, almost felt like a ‘traveller’, a free born man, no fixed abode. Of course we always ended the trip with a visit (pilgrimage) to Crough Patrick in Mayo and we’d walked to the top. On one trip we met two Friars, decending, we stopped and chatted of which I have little memory, only that they were bare foot and thier feet were covered in blood…….such was my youth, travel to paradise then back to the Northern hell.
Nice to see some Irish still can call a spade a spade. All the best to Clare……..may she inspire millions to speak up.
Cheers, M
EU Parliament and NATO are dead men walking. Thank you Clare for your shining intelligence and passion among those braindead creatures that infest these!
Bully for her.
Love her fire and her choice of words.
Well the member could not be more direct ! It is about time !
Irish women are often highly articulate and forceful in their speech, behind it thoug, there can be another story..
Bravo! I wish there were more brave voices in EU like hers. But I have a feeling that EU parliament is a sandbox where MP can play all day long while policies are carved behind the scene.
Bravo. Another Irish women speaks the truth and tries to bring some sanity to the EU.
The EU and all its institutions are a sickness built on fear and lies.
The truth behind the European Russophobia has always been avarice for the riches in the ground of the vast land of Russia.
Since wars against Russia didn’t work so well for the Europeans, they now have a full spectrum information war aimed at Russia, attempting to destroy the cultural values and traditions of Russian society and its thousand years civilization.
The lies of European power elite against Russia-SSSR didn’t work so well for the last 110+ years. In fact, it often boomeranged. I can not recall the name of someone who said that “state propaganda is like a perfume: to be sniffed, nor swallowed”.
Unfortunately, lower classes often “swallow” it with catastrophic consequences. If you haven’t
read Erich Maria Remarque “All Quiet on the Western Front” or watched older versions of this movie, then you missed remarque-able view of ultimate senslessness of a war and its propaganda. I can say the same for the movie “La Grande Illusion”, directed by Jean Renoir.
Putin’s team is, I believe, quite aware that European elite continues essentially on the same self-destructive path, but, unlike them, they have learned quite a few important lessons from history,
then gamed them many times, and came up with a number of strategies, even a paradigm, to minimize risk of war, primarily human loss, followed by the loss of wealth etc. The Russian conduct during the Syrian war, is a perfect illustration of this new paradigm of war and its underlying propaganda. China follows it closely.
Since neither Europe, UK with its commonwealth countries, or US found adequate answer to a new Russian’s paradigm, so far, they are bound to repeat some of the past erroneous steps. Like, “preparing” PU+3B troops for proxy attack. Or forcing Turkey to stay in Syria indefinitely.
The current ultimatum to Turkey, by Russian government, to withdraw its troops from Idlib, within 1 week, or face consequences, is part of this nonlinear “domino effect” , that was first seen in Ukrainian stand-off, then Afghanistan withdrawal, followed by Iran joining SCO, breaking its economic isolation and sanctions. I find it very meaningful that Putin’s team, in spite of its steely patience, and firmly polite diplomatic language, produced harsh and very public ultimatum. It appears that timing is rather essential. This team wants not only to finish Syrian war ASAP, but more significantly, reduce Turkey ‘s dealing with terrorists/proxy fighters in Afghanistan, Libya and the Balkans. In other words, the Bear wants to defang the Ottoman Snake. Once defanged, Turkey will be invited to join SCO where it rightfully belongs.
To save face, Erdogan might even pretend to resist Russia, loose few dozen tanks, artillery and radar pieces, then, when NATO help does not arrive – shocking-isn’t it – he might then sign some agreement at some multi country conference and justifiably withdraw without much public humiliation.
Regards, Spiral
Yup….saw that re Idlib yesterday too…not too sure if it was not wishful thinking by the poster. However….Erdogan’s critism of Russian treatment of Tartars….Crimea and support for Crimean platform will not have gone down well.
Assad visited Putin the other day…. there have been a few reports of USA equipment leaving north east Syria…Erdogan will meet Putin in Sochi end of September- will that be a fate accompli that now Daraa one of the origins of the Syrian opposition movement seems “”settled”(thanks to endless efforts by Russia and SAA)…Idlib will also likewise????
Wish comprehensive assessment reports were avalaible.

These lists are so incredibly childish.
Wha wha wha!
It’s really embarrassing.
I love Solovyev!
As for Miller, Gazprom’s share price is going up . . . IMO it’s a buy.
I just bought 100 more.
They pay a decent dividend.
What happened to Tulsi Gabbard?
@ Blackring — Tulsi did not run for her Hawaiian Congressional seat again — after her Presidential bid — so she is not in Congress at the moment.
One of her last actions in Congress was trying to stop the prosecutions of Snowden and Assange.
When it appeared the Biden Administration was pushing Ukraine to start a war with Russia in the spring, she went on the Tucker Carlson show (now the most widely watched cable “politics” show in the U.S.) to condemn U.S. actions as a dangerous potential gateway to a nuclear war with Russia.
She occasionally makes statements on Twitter and elsewhere if you search for them.
Although I have personally given up on U.S. politics, the entire system is corrupt and delusional, I hope she returns to office in some capacity and proves me wrong.
She transferred her National Guard career from Hawaii to Mountain View, California. She’s a Major, now serving as a civil affairs officer. She went to Africa on duty with a Special Forces unit for four months.
So, make of that as you will.
For me, she is about 5% “correct”.
But she still has charisma and photographs very well.
At least she seems to be a decent person.
I love that woman.
she was on the tucker carlson show the other night.failing to answer the first question she went into a pro american rant when i switched off.she obviously is aiming for another presidential run.
Well done Clare Daly
Didn’t Biden say no more wars? Why do we need any subs or arms industry then? It’s all obsolete now anyway.
What a waste, and what bad karma. The military industrial media state has morally and financially bankrupted this country for nothing. I want my money back. It was all a fraud.
She should get a Crown made from Diamond for that masterpiece!!!
Thank you honorable lady, you are a true Irish.
