Like a shot ricocheting at Heaven’s Door, Bob Dylan has released a masterpiece dissecting JFK’s assassination
What spectacular timing. Like a shot ricocheting at Heaven’s Door as a virus pandemic rages and Planet Lockdown is the new normal, Bob Dylan has produced a stunning 17-minute masterpiece dissecting the November 22, 1963, assassination of JFK – releasing it at midnight US Eastern Standard Time on Thursday.
For baby boomers, not to mention obsessive Dylanologists, this is the ultimate sucker punch. Countless eyes will be plunged into swimming pools revisiting all the memories swirling around “the day they blew out the brains of the king / Thousands were watching, no one saw a thing.” But that’s not all: the Dylanmobile takes us on a magical mystery tour of the 60s and 70s, complete with the Beatles, the Age of Aquarius and the Who’s “Tommy.”
If there’s any cultural artifact capable of sending a powerful jolt across a discombobulated America trying to come to grips with a dystopic Desolation Row, this is it, the work of America’s undisputed, true Exceptionalist. The times, they are-a-changin’. Oh, yes, they are.
There are so many nuggets in Dylan’s lyrics they would be worthy of a treatise, tracking the vortex of music, literature, film references and interlocking Americana.
Or this can be read as Dylan playing Kennedy’s doppelganger, plus occasional interventions, such as Kennedy’s would-be killers (“Then they blew off his head while he was still in the car / Shot down like a dog in broad daylight / Was a matter of timin’ and the timin’ was right / You got unpaid debts we’ve come to collect / We gonna kill you with hatred, without any respect / We’ll mock you and shock you and we’ll grin in your face / We’ve already got someone here to take your place”).
The pearl at the heart of the mantra is nothing sort of apocalyptic: “They killed him once and they killed him twice / Killed him like a human sacrifice / The day that they killed him someone said to me, / ‘Son, The Age of the Antichrist has just only begun.’”
Extra words to define it would be idle. Wherever you are in Planet Lockdown, sit back in stay at home social distancing mode, turn on, tune in and time travel. There will be blood on the tracks.
Thank you Pepe!
How apt is the timing.
November 22, 1963, was a day that changed the world forever. JFK was such an incredibly brave man who took on the Deep State and subsequently paid for this open challenge with his life.
The Empire has been degenerating ever since, sometimes insidiously and sometimes with massive depraved murderous acts like 911. These instances which now include CV-19 are underwritten by this same enduring web-like international cartel and each one changes the world forever.
All have one thing in common…no one except for the odd token Patsy has ever been held accountable. These obscene Ghouls have become more and more emboldened by their ‘success’ whilst the system has openly rewarded them with wealth and high office. As a result, the atrocities steadily and predictably become more outrageously destructive.
Dylan absolutely nailed it… both with the words and the timing

Great video here of JFK. Junior appearing on Jay Leno. It’s actually a must see people. JFK Jr. reads a poem by Monica Lewinsky when she was 9- about being eaten like a PIZZA
A year before his death!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pray for Dylan’s soul, as he’s publicly declared he sold it to satan.
I believe him. Problem is, hardly no one else does.

The Assassination of JFK: Hatched in Miami, among the Cuban refugees, the CIA mentors added the mafia component, and the grand scheme was polished by the US Naval Intelligence. LBJ totally all in. Bush Family. Langley’s great revenge.
I lived and worked news documentaries for ABC’s WLBW, in those days, while instructing film production at the University. The South Campus housed the CIA’s ELINT HQ listening to Latin America, particularly Cuba. It was nestled next to the rail spur that once served the timber industry. I was there filming several times. That’s the heart of the assassination plot. The South Campus had a history of training ‘contras’, rebels, for the overthrow of the government in Guatemala, and the endless, futile attempts to overthrow Castro, and was used to train the CIA proxies against the Sandinistas.
In June 1963 I told my father up in NY that if Kennedy came to the South, he’d be killed. I predicted it. Anyone listening to the Cuban voices in Miami, on the radio, on TV, the boys of the Bay of Pigs who were captured, later ransomed for tractors, all of whom worked for the CIA, they were aloud with threats against JFK.
His Presidential reversal in October, signing an EO to pull our 16,000 troops out of Nam, sealed his fate.
Eleven days after LBJ took over, the EO was cancelled and LBJ began the flooding of Nam with American soldiers. It took the phony USS Maddox incident in the Gulf of Tonkin to unleash the full US military effort that put 565,000 men on Viet Nam soil.
So that war was built on murder most foul and institutional mendacity straight from the Oval Office.
It set a pattern for many more lying Presidents and many more wars.
It remains like yesterday. I was this close to them. In Miami, you could see the planes at Opa Locka airfield, the unmarked aircraft that the CIA used to ferry their guys. A girl in my high school class years earlier had a father who piloted those planes. So, nothing was a mystery in Miami. Murder was in the air, along with the jasmine.

Yes, the Cuban exiles certainly wanted Kennedy dead. However, they were not the deciding factor. The US elite was, the bankers and corporate presidents, controlled by the Rothschild’s and secret societies (the HQ of the Freemasons in the US is in Washington DC, while the Commander in Chief of all Freemasons is Prince Philip, husband to the Queen of England, who did not come to JFK’s funeral).
The point is that the Office of the President of the US was always intended to be symbolic, not executive in the true sense, as ‘officially’ presented. The first President of the US was George Washington, a Freemason financed and controlled by the Rothschild’s. How many other US presidents were Freemasons ? Barack Obama is a member of the Prince Hall Masonic Lodge, intended for Afro-Americans. However, JFK was not a member of any secret society, nor did the US elite expect him to enter the White House. Well, he did. And what does he do ? He turns against secret societies (people forget his famous speech against them prior to his assassination). He introduces a Government controlled US dollar, to the horror of private bankers and he issues a directive pulling US advisors out of South Vietnam, to the fury of the Military Industrial Complex, which needs wars to make huge profits. The result is his assassination in Dallas.
To this day US institutions insist that Oswald was the lone killer, an absurd accusation, bearing in mind that he was not in the Book Depository when the assassination occurred, but on the street, watching the JFK motorcade. We have that famous photograph of him, standing on the street. I believe the photo was posted by AP and quickly withdrawn. The main proof of Oswald’s innocence lies the inflicted wounds on JFK. The first bullet strikes his throat from the front, the second bullet strikes his back and the third bullet strikes his right temple, proof that three assassins were involved.
And yes, Americas decline began with JFK’s assassination, the momentum being increased in 1971 when Nixon took the US dollar off the gold standard. After that the dollar was slowly transformed into children’s monopoly money, being printed in huge amounts backed by nothing, except of course by the US military (both Hussein and Khadaffy wanted to abandon using the dollar, and we all know what happened to them).
The greed of the US elite, controlled by the Rothschild’s and the English Royal Family, has set the US on it’s terminal decline. No empire in the world survived. The US Empire will be the shortest in the history. Not even American university professors are in agreement what the total US foreign and domestic debt is, and one that can never be repayed. We shall now see how the empire will collapse, peacefully or violently. The second option is very dangerous, bearing in mind the empire has nuclear weapons. Biological too. Did the empire unleash the corona virus ? Time will tell.
Did the empire unleash the corona virus ? Time will tell.
Wouldnt that be ironic, a weapon of their own undoing.
Alabama
Well, not really. Don’t forget that the Western elites are obsessed with population reduction, getting rid of all those ‘useless’ mouths to feed.
And should a few significant elites bite the dust, or the military reduce it ranks from to close of quarters, that would not be ironic?
Thanks for the informed pushback on the “Cubans did it” meme.
Possibly, even probably, the Cuban CIA assets had a part, maybe a large part.
Regardless of the reality, I am sure they even thought/think they did it. Ultimately, however, they were cogs/patsies,whose reasons for hating JFK were specific and local.
My readings convince me that the reasons for taking down JFK were because of his attack on the systemic realities of what we now call the Deep State: those in the USA and international running and profiting from the MIC, finance, and “intelligence.” Not for “local” reasons such as Cuba.
JFK threatened to overturn the postwar apple cart put in place by Truman and those around him. These forces were not going to let JFK derail their fond plans for the American empire and world domination when they were just getting going, the USA h aving emerged from WW2 with all the money, military power, financial power at its disposal and the only blot on the horizon was the USSR and the People’s Republic (which hardly counted). Other small revolutions such as in Latin America and Africa were easily quashed. Vietnam was going to be another cakewalk.
Recall that Dallas was just 18 years into the postwar era.
Three levels of organization: the initiators, the planners/coordinators, the executors (aka executioners/snipers).
The man on the ground who made it possible and doable in Texas was LBJ.
BTW, according to James K. Douglass (The Unspeakable), a first attempt in Chicago, three weeks before Dallas, was aborted for reasons that I cannot now recall. But the outlines of the physical situation were similar.
I am not so sure as some commentators in the MSM seem to be that Dylan’s song is a comment on the corona virus situation. I used to love Dylan when he was younger and I didn’t realize that he was a Zionist. Once I learned that I more less lost my awe of “Dylan” and think of him more as Bob Zimmerman.
I am kind of disappointed, actually, that so much of Zimmerman’s new work is a listing of musical landmarks. It almost feels like a misdirection of attention to the history of pop culture. Perhaps he is implying that the music following the murder most foul was a response to the atmosphere of denial of the truth about DAllas and US society. But the chronicle of pop music can also be seen as a kind of misdirection back to the surface and away from the deeper evil and the phenomenon of a society that refuses to ask the right questions at all—so no correct answers can be forthcoming and the perpetrators and their inheritors remain at large, working ever greater evil.
Now the two “leaders” vying for our “votes” are both openly sick.
Katherine
He really didnt write to much of significance as a Zimmerman, but once a Dylan, always a Dylan.
Katherine
Yes, LBJ made his contribution to the assassination. That he was one of the conspirators is old news, something I have known since I was a kid. The other two well known conspirators were George Bush senior (there is a photo of him in Dallas on the day of the shooting) and J.Edgar Hoover of the FBI, who came to Dallas prior to the shooting, staying there for just one day and flying back to Washington. There were others, of course, including the Secret Service (you have that well known video on the Internet where one of the Secret Service agents is told to leave JFK’s automobile so that the shooters could have a clear angle of fire).
What did we have from 1963 onward ? Nothing but stalling tactics, the intent being for the conspirators to die of old age, after which the whole matter would pass on to historians, just like Lincoln’s assassination passed on to historians, with quite a number of historians stating that his assassin (Booth) was never killed by Union troops, only a patsy, just like in Dallas 102 years later.
Yes, old Bush: his secret service name being Timberwolf: the Wolfman? Deep State plus Israel (see my comment above).
Andre: (see my comment above).
Hi, Andre, I don’t see your comment.
Curious to see it.
Katherine
Words fail at the significance of this account by dylan, by pepe, by the comments by larch, bf, katherine, and others.
I personally recall that era, I marched in JFK Inaug parade in Jan 1961, I remember the spirit, the optimism, the sense of JF’K’s leadership, despite all of his personal faults, foreign policy mis-steps, etc, etc. It was a sense that his heart was in the right place and for that he was murdered.
I have long believed as as some stated here that the murder in dallas marked the end of America. Since that time, the presidents (maybe with exception of carter but he did not last long) and their admins have been totally corrupt, totally controlled.
This evil has been massive, continuing, and growing. And “they” know that there is not a damn thing anyone can do to stop the evil, to stop the massive effort of total control.
Starting with the absurdity of warron commission, oswald, LBJ’s triumphalisms, it is still nauseating to reflect back.
That is the absolute discouraging aspect of this continuation of evil-nothing is expected to or will change.
I did read douglas’ book but have stopped reading other books, more or less, as to avoid more discouragement and depression.
“I did read douglas’ book but have stopped reading other books, more or less, as to avoid more discouragement and depression.
Douglass’s book is basically the only book that I have read on the JFK assassination.
IM (admittedly uninformed) O, if you read just one book on the topic, let it be this one.
I have already read a number of long pieces at the Unz Review, and this is the material that led me to agree with the conclusion that LBJ was the “macher” on the ground in Texas, and also that the Israelis very likely had a big hand in the careful long-range planning. Regarding LBJ, another source is a long interview with LBJ’s mistress at the time, who describes the meeting with all of the big Texas oilmen that took place at the ranch of Clint Murchison, on the eve of the D-Day: Death Day for JFK.
Here is a link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=POmdd6HQsus
I read a “review” of Zimmerman’s song at NBC News by Jeff Someone. The whole slant of the piece is that the song is geared to the mentalities and obsessions of Baby Boomers who are obsessed withDylan and cannot “move on” from the death of JFK. All of teh language is geared toward subtly ridiculing and putting down the supposed audience for this song. I wonder what other Saker commenters make of it:
https://www.nbcnews.com/think/opinion/bob-dylan-s-murder-most-foul-17-minute-new-song-ncna1170766
Zimmerman does of course strongly imply that the Oswald narrative is BS. But Slate seems to me to choose to ignore this message of the song. In so doing he, as Zimmerman calls it, kills JFK again.
All those who look away from the truth kill JFK again.
Katherine
A good assassin, as well as a good crook, always attempts to frame or suggest that anyone besides him or her self is responsible for said crime, real good ones, like democrats, do their homework underground and plan said crime months or years in advance.
This crime though does not have much of that beyond the location and close working proximity’s, there is no different conclusion, or conspiracy theory that does not support this thesis.
That being said, I believe this crime took place on short notice by someone who already had an established political back door long before jfk took office.
Thanks for the response, Katherine.
Unz has provided me a number of good links as well-I will try to go back and find tomorrow.
I am trying to put together a list (in my head) of the number of absurdities, starting with the JFK murder, oswald, and warren commission, the majic bullet, the murder of martin luther king, the murder of RFK and sirhan, etc, on to the present.
Not anywhere close to complete but working on it but it is indeed astonishing what the sheeple have been fed and what they accept, all thanks to the enabling press who do not question anything fed to them.
Piper’s “Final Judgment” shows the hidden and intentionally overlooked link to Israel, which was immdeiately sponsored by LBJohnson as Ben-Gurion hated JFK who stopped the building of nukes. Meier Lansky, top man of criminal syndicates, was happy to be of service to Israel, so not only mafia, CIA etc., but Mossad and Israel’s Ben-Gurion were IN. Dimona flourished and the nuclear programs completed with the aid of LBJ. Some who dared to link Israel were assassinated, so it took a brave soul like Piper to publish (and he died “suddenly”…).
OK, Here you are. I looked in the wrong place for your post.
Yes, agree. I have read the Piper book.
One of the writers on the JFK murder who also delves into the Israeli connection is Laurent Guyenot.
I think this is it:
https://www.unz.com/article/did-israel-kill-the-kennedies/
Or, go to Unz Review and do a search there for Laurent Guyenot. That will bring a list of his writings there.

“Murder was in the air, along with the jasmine.”
Larch, thank God for your image of his, it’s the ratio of ‘US-Freedom’ after
the German fever, for many, many cosy years in a look- the- other- way- normal.
We got the Jasmine them got the murder. We awoke with Dylan and Joan Baez.
There was no German genuine main stream like them.
My wife arrived with 5 in West Berlin, for the first time in her life she saw light
day at night.
America not only had the bomb, they also had the dollar and they, most mightily, had Hollywood. And Hollywood was owned by whom? It’s a given, the ‘chosen’ are kind of ruling tribe, ruling by quality and knowledge created within Jewish family-lines over centuries.
We have to realize this as a reality for the better and the worse, beyond any moral or political judgement, trying to reap collective fruits out of it, in their futurous part, when the time is right.
While any being is exposed to the polarity of things in universe, we have to care not only for our side, but also for our hostile brother, consciously, course different things have different times, to come to their Damascus, you know? Be patient with Putin.
I, eventually an old astrologer, am keeping to watch the sometimes intermingling sometimes clearing divine script from 5 miles above the bottom – but also, each day, down below, cocking meals, feeding my old sweet and at night entering earthly camp with her, my wife on that bed I’d built 35 years before.
God’s city must not be on the hill, and it’s not due for her, to carry a heavy yoke. A true heart is God’s territory, who could hope to prevail against it.
Brilliant elegy from our nation’s poet laureate.
Bookends for a lifetime of greatness—”Like a Rolling Stone” and “Murder Most Foul”.

Canada’s very own homegrown poet laureate wrote and sung about Neocons’ agenda too…he called them “killers in high places”.
ANTHEM
The birds they sang
At the break of day
Start again
I heard them say
Don’t dwell on what
Has passed away
Or what is yet to be
Yeah the wars they will
Be fought again
The holy dove
She will be caught again
Bought and sold
And bought again
The dove is never free
Ring the bells (ring the bells) that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack in everything (there is a crack in everything)
That’s how the light gets in
We asked for signs
The signs were sent
The birth betrayed
The marriage spent
Yeah the widowhood
Of every government
Signs for all to see
I can’t run no more
With that lawless crowd
While the killers in high places
Say their prayers out loud
But they’ve summoned, they’ve summoned up
A thundercloud
And they’re going to hear from me
Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack, a crack in everything (there is a crack in everything)
That’s how the light gets in
You can add up the parts
You won’t have the sum
You can strike up the march
There is no drum
Every heart, every heart to love will come
But like a refugee
Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack, a crack in everything (there is a crack in everything)
That’s how the light gets in
Ring the bells that still can ring (ring the bells that still can ring)
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack, a crack in everything (there is a crack in everything)
That’s how the light gets in
That’s how the light gets in

Son, The Age of the Antichrist has just only begun.’
Yes.
I watched the funeral procession. I was too young to understand
Now …. I look back, and I look into the present, and nod, with a wry smile
yes
The Age of the Antichrist had only just begun
Revisiting November 22, 1963 has always been visceral and painful. It is funny JFK’s wife is mentioned in Dylan’s work. No one saw anything? Those who saw just conveniently disappeared.
Who really fired those fatal shots that blew out JFK’s brains? The bitch who wore pink that day.
Read this:
http://reformation.org/jackie-kennedy-was-the-pink-panther.html
Chaucer,
Nobody’s asking the right question, therefore, the answer cannot be correct. Did JFK die that day? Isn’t Kennedy one of the “blood families” who, like the Rothchilds, Rockefellers and others, control the masses with magic words, symbols and song? If the Reichstag fire and 9/11 was a hoax, and the fake virus is a hoax, why not at least consider that Dylan (agent) is no better than Alex Jones (agent), and the MSM in leading the sheep down the wrong path. Just sayin’.
Bob Dylan is a Mafia lifetime actor. As was JFK. But don’t bother kids, fantasy trumps reality, now as then.
Actor still needs a script to be relevant, no matter if it was mafia influenced, directed or not. So who wrote the script? Are they still around, or do their assets still have yet to be heard from
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m_wAZ02JUtM
Dylan admits selling his soul for fame and fortune….
I dont see it as selling anything, it seem closer to a job he was doing, he makes no direct reference to selling a soul or himself or anyone, to anyone (the chief?) in particular for that matter.
steve, that’s not what he said.
If anything could keep the people wrongly guessing and forever analysing about a conspiracy, it was this event.
This song was long in the making, perhaps 35 years or so, start to finish.
Fantastic song that Only Dylan could write!
I just finished an interesting book “The Man Who Killed Kennedy: The Case Against LBJ”. Having read several books on the Kennedy assassination, I must say this particular book has new interesting info and does an excellent job of pulling all the differing storylines together.
Maybe this will get the musicians singing against the Empire as they did during the Nam years. Now only the some comedians dare to be so subversive as to publicly state the Truth in an Empire of Illusions. Don’t fight for an empire that is so good at killing civilians.
Like, say, “The Boomerang Bug Boogie” ?
I have seen Zimmerman Dylan perform at least 4 times in the past 15 years
3 of those 4 times his sound was dire and communication with the audience zero.He reminded me of a bored high priest going through the motions.
Over the years his lyrics though clever gave no answers only blind alley hopes using nebulous tropes.
Last year we saw him on the same bill as Neil Young who performed first.
Young was bright, enjoying himself had a good band and vibrant for a man his age.
When Zimmerman Dylan came on his sound was this time good and his band played well albeit like musicians who were in terror of making an error, they also reminded me of a orchestra pit band that had long outplayed its interest in the material being performed and had one eye on the hotel bar for after gig sport.
A fair proportion of the audience left with Zimmermans taking the stage and by half way thousands more including myself and wife had departed and continued to do so,I am sure from his elevated platform Zimmerman could not but have noticed the exodus his performance was precipitating.
Zimmerman should have done this JFK thing years ago, perhaps,he had it in reserve for such an occasion as now but back then he would have got himself in deep doo doo.
Now nobody cares now as the rout of the baby boomer generation is complete and he probably does not care either, now that his ability to suck money and direct it to his Tribal nation by lousy never ending tours has been ended by his overlords.
Out served his usefulness.
While we philosophise over the recent work of a proven plagiarist.(just like his handlers). Please do not take issue with me on this last point…. I might end up writing an essay to back up my assertions and waste my and others time by so doing.
Zimmerman has always been a clever distraction from the action in front of our noses and nothing has changed now by his using the bones of John Fitzgerald Kennedy to perform this kabalistic ritual.
BTW I must hand one bone to him as a clever lyricist.
Sorry Pepe …..I used to describe Zimmerman as the poet of our times to anybody who would listen ….but that was a long long time ago.
God bless all.
@ TJT
You don’t like him. You despise him. You think he’s a lousy concert act. Yet you went to see him 4 times in 15 years, knowing he’s past prime.
He has a hold on you. A tight grip.
An elegiac is kabalistic?
Seems more Greek to me.
I would sum up with this: you pissed, but missed. It’s on your shoes.
Larch…
Of course you are correct from your perspective.I may also be correct from my own perspective and in this forum after all ,we might share the same latrine.Spray is inevitable in such close quarters.
I am fully aware that I may have ruffled a few feathers here without intending to piss on anybody’s shoes including my own.
Aiding verbally in the destruction of an icon of American rock&roll culture is somewhat dangerous territory I must admit.
Nonetheless an icon he is for many reasons.
My observations come from 50 years as a performing musician(often the icons work) and much more than this.
I have seen plenty of evidence pass before my eyes and ears to back up the value of “pissing on an icon”at this juncture.
I am aware of a benign higher power, not one given to me by any mortal entity, only what I see within and by extension in life around.
There have been countless talented composers and poets passed over by publishing houses because their work does not fit the cultural narrative desired by such houses.
My apologies if taken personally by you …..I tend to write offline and engage my mind before posting.
Of course I am new here and amongst experienced writers…..would you like me to be more PC?
My take on this site is that contributors are reasoned and respectful to each other.
Until now I have not for any post been replied to in such a fashion.
For sure you know little of me apart from my posts and to assert what you have is merely an opinion,as was my post on Mr ZeeDee.
You forgot the distraction alluded to in my obviously contentious post.
And your are correct that he is way past his prime of sublime recordings with The Band and.. Nashville skyline amongst others, that was then and this is now.
Poets and artists often return to complete older work with the passing of time.
To finish,I am aware of “divide et imperia” in this little exchange perhaps this Latin phrase should be remembered here above all places .Enough.
“Dogs bark and the caravan moves on”
God bless one and all.
Above I offered two songs Dylan wrote that bookend his career.
Did he plagiarize them?
Were the performances less than salutatory, historic and impossible to cover?
Whatever occurred between the first and the last is of no concern.
We dwell on this one, Murder Most Foul.
Put away your favorite organ, zip it. You are nobody compared to the genius you long to diminish.
A hundred years from now both songs will resonate for what each is, masterpieces.
I don’t require you agree with anything I write.
I do require if you take on some legend who has etched his presence on Earth to recognize the talent and substance of the product he creates.
As for knowing who you are or aren’t is of no matter here. You posted, twice now, egoistic crapola.
Want to rip Bob Dylan, go do it, sign you name to it. You crave notoriety. Earn it.
Bob Dylan created a profound piece of music that has cut through 57 years of coverup. An evocative elegy unlike anything we’ve seen anywhere in our lifetime.
If it had come from Leonard Cohen it would not have been so surprising. But he being Canadian, it would have been elliptical.
This is pure Americana. The young troubadour who trekked to the dying bedside of Woody Guthrie, the kid with harmonica at his mouth, a less than charming voice, uncombed, but oh, so relevant from the getgo.
From this elegy, out comes the prosecution, the accusation, the details, the evidence, the testimony from the grave, the social outrage, the injustice, the eternal J’accuse toward all the conspirators.
While all we have from you? the barking dog, we know is you.
Larch….
Of course it is very possible that the barking dog is also an integral part of the caravan who may bark if he sees fit.
The invocation of many names and works of other great and
acknowledged artists in the context is unusual in its imagery as are the numbers.
I am fully aware of the significance in much of the imagery, being steeped in rock&roll myself.
I did not mention plagiarism in context
of your two bookends.
Having listened to the contentious piece it would be torturous to have to go through it again.
I do not seek your approval or that of others and to my knowledge no licence is needed to freely express ones feelings in a respectful manner.
If that were the case the poet would never had written word.
Never mind attempted critical thinking.
As for cover up …..have you really believed all these years or did you need Bob to confirm it for you?
Can we leave this one here please as I have better to do than bicker with you or any other.
Others here have expressed similar leanings to mine ,why not expend your talents contending their opinions also…….
I am not your enemy nor the enemy of any other here. And most importantly we are all human beings not dogs.
I won’t feed your vainglorious ego.
Go away to some blog that suffers bozos.
Not a word you have written deals with the song. Nor the content of its historical elements. Nor its importance for the future generations who will pursue the truth.
It’s all about your sorry self.
Go away.
Larch
I thank you for inspiring this
Nor will I feed yours
For I see your tears
I am far away
In the real cafe
Where the licence
Is issued per day per day
I guess you may have
the same kind of pleas
Be you
Locked down low
Or high in the trees.
Wow.
Very revealing exchange.
A longer comment with my observations about the song and disappeared into cyberspace.
I must have hit a “poof” key combination.
But my main point is that Zim/Dyl is not a god nor a saint, and we are not required to treat him as such.
The song can be critiqued, positively and negatively, on multiple levels.
As can Zim/Dyl himself. He is a public figure.
Unlike TJM, who presumably is not.
I am shocked at the verbal hammer and tongs Larchmonter takes to another commenter with whom he disagrees.
This seems to violate basic rules of this blog.
Katherine
Dylan inspired this.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IrVD0bP_ybg
Think about it.
So what.
This is funny.
I have thought about Baez a lot, AAMOF.
I copyedited her hubby’s memoir. I also attended one of her concerts, in Munich, and I was pretty turned off by her sanctimoniousness. Obviously, another gigantic ego. Perhaps that is why Zim/Dyl rejected gettign romantically involved with her. Although she definitely did help his career, esp. at Newport I think it was 1963.
In the bio I suggested deleting some of the material that related to Baez, for reasons that I won’t go into here.
Baez had/has a beautiful voice, no doubt about that. I first saw her at Club 47 in 1959 or thereabouts.
But she, too, was no “madonna,” as many wanted to make her out to be.
And she took to the role like a duck to water.
I always found her later work and stage presence to be self-involved and somewhat obnoxious.
I have learned quite a lot here about certain unstated parameters.

Katherine,
Maybe your defense of TJM is because his not so subtle (anti-semitic?) use of ‘Zimmerman’ parallels your same way of denying the man his professional name Bob Dylan?
He isn’t entitled to his chosen name?
The same denial Muhammed Ali suffered. Many people insisted on calling him Cassius Clay, insulting him after he explained he wanted to be rid of a slave-age birth name.
One of the hallmarks of being American is changing given names to whatever someone wants to be called.
As for me using hammer and tongs? Not hardly. His disagreement was with the essence of the blog. He wrote nothing about Pepe’s article, nor about the song. He merely wanted to smear Bob Dylan. And he retorted with puffed up ego strokes. I merely pointed those as reasons for him to trot off to another blog where he could bark to his heart’s content.
Shouldn’t be shocked. I chase trolls all the time. I also rarely suffer someone’s long vapid takes that spew nonsense or inaccurate facts.
If it’s a topic that I have a deep interest or feeling for, I try to keep the thread on topic. I don’t care if people are diametrically opposed to my POV. That’s all good. The issue is are they on the thread to stroke themselves or have they something meaningful to say or questions that beg for answers.
There’s some good stuff up the thread. TJM’s is not among them. I don’t want to encourage someone to use Jew or not Jew as a standard tool of criticism. The world has enough hate.
I have a real sensitivity about names. It’s personal with me when I see someone demeaned like Dylan or Ali were.

Methinks you are both absolutely ON THE MONEY!
Roger Waters is, of course, the most vocal…especially in regard to Assange’s plight amongst our modern-day heroic troubadours.
The likes of Dylan, Waters, and the late Cohen all clearly recognize the real turning points in humanity’s destiny and our apparent sheepish stampede into an Orwellian dystopia. I have tremendous admiration for them speaking out and ringing the alarm bells…they are modern-day heroes!
Cohen…
“Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack, a crack in everything (there is a crack in everything)
That’s how the light gets in”
I know that Cohen died tragically and heartbroken in the knowledge of the Hegemon’s destructive stranglehold on humanity. He fully acknowledged the huge task involved in displacing it. I know also that he had not lost all hope…these words are testament to that…
“But they’ve summoned, they’ve summoned up
A thundercloud
And they’re going to hear from me”
These words ring in my ears. The “thundercloud” is you and I. I know he referred to our non-violent revolution which continues to gain momentum and mass every day. This consists not only of these wonderful artists making a stand, but also the countless small-fry like myself that ferret out this knowledge. In doing so we empower ourselves and others to unite and to confront the all-powerful Hegemon.
The international cartel of Neo-conservatism/liberalism has completely underestimated this force…it is the power and the voice of a united Mainstreet…it is the game-changer.
With the timing of this song, I know that Dylan sees our present crises as another massively important event. I despair when I hear a number of times on this forum the origin of CV-19 being trivialized and muddied.
For humanity’s future, and perhaps even for our very survival, it is of utmost importance that the real culprits are exposed. With the timing of this song, I know that Dylan sees this present crisis as another massively important event and also the importance of the real perpetrators being exposed. The Hegemon must not be allowed to own the narrative yet again.
The real perpetrators of 911 have never been exposed, let alone held to account. This is why these horrendous acts continue to happen…they become more outrageous each time… enough is enough!
Granted Dylan’s effort is not a “perfect offering” either, but for heaven’s sake recognize it for what it is…a genuine and heartfelt warning regarding the destructive road we travel. FFS don’t criticize it…celebrate it!
Go Bob et al

Nicely done. Music mavericks are often all we have as the vanguard.
Larch
I recommend if you have a good set of headphones to strap them on, turn the volume right up and listen to Cohen’s Anthem…this is quite the journey, visually, musically and emotionally. It is so absolutely and tragically relevant to our current challenge.
Best regards and stay safe!

Thanks for the link. Cohen is the greatest Canadian. A perfect offering to people who think from time to time.
Excellent. Necessary. Sad. Inevitable.
Thanks Bob, and be well.
Wow! What did little Bobby do? This is just absolutely delicious! To release at midnight Thursday! Sheesh! The Joker finally comes through! After us all being under the aegis of the Thief since Jimi!!
I don’t mean to make light of the assanation … Like most of us I remember where I was and what I was doing: sitting in English class at Stony Brook School for Boys, Stony Brook, N. Y. My teacher, a very big man, captain in the army reserves was crying.
This is definitely that time when all will be revealed.
I got a kick out of Martanyov saying the blues are immortal. Amen to that brother.
Brother Blue Iconoclast
I grew up with Bob Dylan’s music. I am glad he raised his voice again, spot-on, as though we are re-living famous “the times they are a-changing”.
“Masters of war” is another anty-war gem, beautiful!
Come, you masters of war
You that build the big guns
You that build the death planes
You that build all the bombs
You that hide behind walls
You that hide behind desks
I just want you to know
I can see through your masks
You that never done nothing
But build to destroy
You play with my world
Like it’s your little toy
You put a gun in my hand
And you hide from my eyes
And you turn and run farther
When the fast bullets fly
Like Judas of old
You lie and deceive
A world war can be won
You want me to believe
But I see through your eyes
And I see through your brain
Like I see through the water
That runs down my drain
Which “elites” worship a giant owl in the middle of a private forrest?🤔
I remember one “clickbaiter” that secretly filmed the innocent parts in one off those so called parties,, that was one interesting lyric tbh. I have never listened to an entire dylan song b4 now.. I cant stand his voice..
Sounds so good… it’s bringing the 60s and 70s back. Will everyone – the rock bands, musicians, poets, writers, folks from every street bring the 70s back or is this only our nostalgia?
I’m sharing and hoping to relive the mighty peaceful revolution bringing people all over the world together in solidarity against capitalism, greed, injustice, immorality, racism and war . This time round there’ll be a bigger community with shared values and no division between East and West.
I agree it’s the best pithy of our collective history.
Jiayou Bob Dylan! This time round it’ll bring 3-4 generations from grandkids to great grands to walk together for peace and humanity in the world. Let’s sing to free Julian Assange as well.
Thousands were watching, no one saw a thing!
I’m not sure this is what I wanted to hear at this time. We are already living in the Twilight Zone. For a little bit of normalcy, my priest set up worship services using Zoom. We even had virtual coffee hour after. We could see each other and talk. It was good. I got to tell someone a joke I read in the midst of this isolation.
I’m so isolated I struck up a conversation out in the porch with a spider. She seemed very nice. Turns out, she is a web designer!
Wolfman: George H.Bush’s secret service code name was Timberwolf and he pronounced his his New World Order later as President. Best book to sum it up I found was Piper’s Final Judgment, where a mix of Mossad, criminal syndicates with Meier Lansky at the top plus the usual suspects of CIA etc. made up the team of killers.
We already have somebody new in place: yes, Johnson immediately went to work to help Ben-Gurion (who could not stand young Kennedy being in his way of producing the nukes) and soon Dimona was sponsored to the hilt by the USA (when JFK was safely dead).
Still, now is a possible turning point when already the Fed had to merge with the Treasury, both to a large extent nationalized. The beginning of shutting down the Central Bank system and start of transforming the debt economy? Arrest and indictments of Deep State actors as some say? Could be a new world.
It’s great to have a Brazilian World Traveller that digs Dylan contributing such articles here.
Politics (both fair and foul) Is Downstream of Culture (both fair and foul) but unlike Pepe’s positive enthusiasm and Chechez, Chaucer’s, Steve Kelly’s and _smr’s …..”We will never, ever have any of it! We have passed Judgment!”……..I come to welcome Bobby back……….not to judge him.
I watched the video. Often, we don’t understand what we did at the time…until decades later. Can one then adjust or atone for error?? Ask St Paul and many others regarded by other humans as saintly exceptions to the ordinary human ego.
And ye nattering nabobs of negativity (Is Spiro in the song? I hope so. He had a way with words! LOL) what about yourselves, lest ye be judged before your sands of time have all run out???
Bobby in the interview is at least reflective, and least aware of the pitfalls of life and fame.
You say he has done ZERO to show it???
And what if this Murder Most Foul is his attempt at atonement…………..not only for himself, but also for a lot of Americans like yourselves…(whether any of you 3-4 are American or not is somewhat beside the more general point……..) who have either done relatively nothing that good or bad (that’s my guess, but I don’t know…just a hunch!) ……OR done considerably worse than Zimmerman falling into the spiderweb of national power and influence….and not loving it???
I;m thinking of Bill Gates….as an example. My theory is that there IS a Spider Web of Power ….and most all individuals of New Wealth Billions are given a deadly choice for their souls: “Welcome! Now that you have “arrived”…we must tell you the score: Be with us and our Agenda or beware: your life might be quite a short one. Sorry, that’s just ‘how it is’., as we were informed when admitted into it. This Club of ours has great perks and privileges…..but also ….the heaviest penalties for non-dues paying members.”
I give Bobby Zimmerman greater odds of escaping the devil, than Billy Gates. Especially since this past Friday morning 12:00 am.
However, much as though 17 minutes of Ballad Americana are not even remotely digested yet, I feel obligated to report the rumours sweeping the land about another occurrence here that has the more alert and less discouraged victims of Empire Rule by Private Central Banks……Daring to Dream Along With Dave:

Message Sent [P], Panic Everywhere, Puzzle Almost Complete – Episode 2133b
The basic idea is the Helicopter Money Corona Bailout will Bankrupt the FED………….but don’t worry about it…Trump is merging it with the United States Treasury,…and took decisive steps in doing that this past Friday.
The way JFK intended.
Would I stake my life on it yet??? NO, I would not! But give me at least 17 days…………and I may update my assessment.
And I suggest that you not be overly hasty in dismissing the possibility in 17 seconds…..OR less.
Thank you, Bro, as I do share the comments and thoughts related to Dave. The 17 is understood and with you I hope this may be a turning point in the matters of the DS and Fed which has already largely become nationalized.
Thank You, Brother. Our heart beats as one.
In case y’all are far from the Buzz on Main Street, among the Deplorable Citizens’ Militias of Red State Flyover Country, Locked Down In Quarantine On The Liberal Coasts……………or overseas…..or like me don’t tweet, twitch, roll over or fetch…here’s what was sent to me….where I first heard that thrilled buzz…..and all that jazz:

Peace, out!
Che said something about waiting for the Dead Corpse of Capitalism to pass by on the street.
He was a Latino; so probably Che didn’t know about the Once and Future King, waiting in a cavern, or in an oaktree, waiting to be recalled by His vanished people. To come again. To raise up His banner. To drive out The Oppressors and the Money Changers. To build anew His Camelot, shining from the hilltop. To, well, trickledown economics.
Of course, most would settle for, prefer, a Good President to do the heavy lifting, if only “They” would allow Him to be nominated and elected.
In the meantime, we will certainly be allowed to cheer for, and perhaps to hum along with, a nostalgic folksinger.
Some enthusuastic, well-paid, mythologers called the Kennedy Compound, The New Camelot. And John had Marilyn; so surely He was man enough to be the Good President. Maybe even benevolent enough to be our Future King.
Dylan’s voice is on the bass side. Some words are clear, some not. Please! Give us the text-lyrics to this.
Please check the comments above and posted below – the Lyrics are available. Mod.

About three and a half years ago, ‘a certain intelligence agency’ released an ‘unofficial’ documentary on youtube, which just about covered the entire operation. About two hours long. British accent. Discloses Bush/Scerff connection to CIA and the Nazi Reich’s financing. Fully details the Dallas hit (it was a cluster#!$@k, some dude popped up from a culvert after everyone else missed (rooftops and such)).
So, yeah…
Mr. Dylan nails it here…
Right between the eyes.
Thank you again, Pepe, Saker.
Would love to get more info on this.
Can you think a phrase that might work for an online search for this video?
Katherine

Did you get to read Piper’s Final Judgment? It might be worth it as it adds to the already known research and links as you pointed out so well. The Israel connection seems fundamental as the nuclear arsenal started to be built immediately after JFK’s death (by LBJ etc.).
Esses dois últimos parágrafos, do texto, são bem significativos. Esses livros, em cartaz devem ser muito bons

Thanks for expanding on your emptiness.
Murder Most Foul:
An article by Edward Curtin:
https://www.lewrockwell.com/2020/03/edward-curtin/bob-dylans-midnight-message-to-jfks-ghost/
Provides a defense of dylan, comments on the usual blather by the press, who are busy dismissing the most significant event in recent history.
Last para from article:
“Murder Most Foul” truly startles. It is a redemptive song. Dylan holds the mirror up for us. He unlocks the door to the painful and sickening truth. He shoves the listener in, and, as he writes in Chronicles, “your head has to go into a different place. Sometimes it takes a certain somebody to make you realize it.”
Bob is our certain somebody. In these dark times he has offered us his voice.
You believe in redemption, don’t you?
Does Pepe know that Bobby Zimmerman is an ardent Zionist? He is so enamored of the apartheid state that he dedicated a song to it, “Neighborhood Bully.” I made the mistake of going to one of his performances a few years ago. It was nothing less than excruciating.
As for the Kennedy assassination; I came across a photo that featured a teenaged Lee Harvey Oswald with a teenaged Barry Seal, the notorious CIA drug runner, enjoying themselves at a Civil Air Patrol picnic. The leader of that Civil Air Patrol chapter was David Ferrie, a CIA asset and recruiter. What are the odds of that being a coincidence?
Hard to believe a 24 year-old punk with a mail order rifle taking a pot shot at a US president who happened to ride by in an open limo could spur a culture of conspiracy all these years.
Hard to believe people still fall for the official story of the Kennedy assassination. The “punk” was tested twice for traces of gunpowder on his cheeks, but they couldn’t find any. Oswald didn’t shoot anybody.
