If symbolic gestures as significant as Mr Shoigu’s sign of the cross 2 years ago are made, I would greatly appreciate it if a wise Russian patriot would point it out. Thank you.I am too much of an outsider to the Russian world to do it myself.
Such gestures are hopeful. And I didn’t want to miss them.
Mr. Shoigu crosses himself every time he passes under the Icon of Christ the Saviour at the Spassky Gate. What would be the point to ‘pointing out’ at a normal gesture? Mr. Shoigu is an an Orthodox Christian (although some people believe otherwise). You should have watch him attending the Paschal Service in the new Cathedral of the Armed Forces.
Defense minister Sohigu is a Tuvan from the high Altai (Bordering Mongolia, China and Kazakhstan). He is a practicing believer in Buddhism of the Dalai Lama variety. Making the sign of the cross when visiting or passing by a Christian Church is not prohibited in Buddhism.
Yes, he also revealed in an interview w/Solovyev that he had intended to build the military cathedral but someone beat him to it. He did not claim to be a Buddhist.
For all western ********, who want to rewrite the history and to make the world to forget the sacrifices russian people endured fighting the Nazis – дружеский приветь https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A7L7rO4qKGc
The big difference here, Mick, is that Yanks have got nothing to congratulate themselves for, whereas the Russians, after their incredible sacrifices – sacrifices which helped save the western world by the way, have everything to congratulate themselves for. My father fought in that war and he told us a lot of about these sacrifices, as a first hand witness and participant.
As the news providing the video at RT has no comments available, I leave it here for them to be made known by whomever that the image got continuously blurred in the most Western part of the EU…in contrast with other years high resolution…
MI6 doing?
Also, very encouraging events like these thousands anti´fascit citizens in Odessa parading the Immortal Regiment and covering with lot of flowers, non stop being thrown over it, war heroes´memorial, they all courageously ( for the current state of affairs in Ukraine and the EU going fascistic at galloping pace under alleged “pandemic Laws”…) chanting “Fascists out of Odessa”…Unpayable…Made my day!
The EU, decided to name this day Europe´s Day, and the representatives of our countries to the EU are vindicating the figure of Schuman as the founding father of the EU…
Well, from that dust this mud…
The other story they don’t tell you. Robert Schuman swore allegiance to pro-Nazi Marshal Philippe Pétain, Hitler’s allied French Vichy leader. Rehabilitated Schuman, after WWII, this former Nazi collaborator created a modified version of the Third Reich, the European Union.
Two other Nazis who created the European Union (or EEC as it was called then): Walter Hallstein (the architect who promoted the economic and political strangulation of the GDR) and Konrad Adenauer (a supporter of the Waffen SS), not to mention an agent of the OSS-CIA: Jean Monnet.
This is whay they do not celebrate Victory Day any more…and have unleashed their death squads, as general rehearsal for the coming premiere in the whole EU of the fascist regime beinggradually unleashed on us on the alibi of the “pandemic”…
pro-Nazi Marshal Philippe Pétain, Hitler’s allied French Vichy leader, I don’t think so. Old soldier, leader of a defeted nation who had to colaborate with the occupant in order to ease the fate of his people (civilians and prisonners of war), surely.
No doubt for all the others, but Pétain was the perfect scapegoat.
@Englishman
Petain did collaborate, but history needs to answer the question if he collaborated voluntarily, or if he was asked to do so. The French defeat of 1940 was suspiciously speedy, bearing in mind that the German military in 1939/1940 was the weakest when it came to modern armaments, having few of them. What was also highly suspicious was Hitler ordering his panzers to stop before Dunkirk, permitting the British Army to escape. The unfortunate impression is that the 1940 war in France was political and military theater, France being sacrificed so that Hitler would have a free hand to attack the Soviet Union (Russia).
Interesting – giving room for new thoughts.
I am not sure whether I will agree fully with you on that but I agree to the fact that Dünkirchen is a very interesting point in the whole story of Hitlers rise – Hitlers success – Hitlers, to some degree: very strange, decisions he took right after the French defeat.
There is still a bunch of untold stories and storylines we do not have …..
How much is ones labor worth really? Further if ones parents are supposed to save up for their children and not the other way around isn’t that a form of capitalism?
“Now I am ready to visit you for the third time, and I will not be a burden to you, because what I want is not your possessions but you. After all, children should not have to save up for their parents, but parents for their children.” 2 Corinthians 12:14
As for this “dictatorship of the proletariat” as opposed to “dictatorship of the bourgeoisie” ultimately means what? “Widows and Orphans” opposed to “Parents.”
“But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.” 1 Timothy 5:8
If Communism works is it not because war has created too many orphans and widows all of whom are looking searching for any kind of help and lo and behold here comes Lenin to fill the position in place of the Church!
“Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.” James 1:27
Life isn’t it always just exploitation of the masses no matter whether imperialist, capitalist or communist?
Truly my people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge.
My point was that Lenin won’t be removed from Red Square anytime soon, period. It’s always amusing how Westerners substitute their own prejudices for Russian public opinion.
I watched with interest – especially the faces of the soldiers and leadership.
Several years ago there was a strong sense of a new youthful generation coming into hopeful focus as a nation recovering from the colapse of Soviet Union and the recent round of facist mischief. One could still see the remnants of raw shock and the trembling yearning hope on their faces. Putin and the military leadership were striving to hold the nation together.
Time has passed and it has not been wasted. No there is a mature confidence and military strength in the air. Putin is looking older and a little less focused as the central figurehead — perhaps another sign that now, even without him at the centre, the process now has its own momentum.
It is certainly a joy to see Russians developing their own agency and presenting viable human civilizational futures. Having just returned from their massive ‘war games’ on the western (Ukraine) front Russian Minister of Defence, Army General Sergey Shoygu certainly showed steely determination in his eyes. The machine is ready and well oiled. The “much ado” in this case is indeed about a whole lot of somethings.
Those EU defence “Europa” queens (and their man-bag carrying metro eunuch drones) must be fainting in their parlours at the thought of confronting this quickened national Russian might. I always like to finish the televised annual event with “The Sacred War, Elena Vaenga (Елена Ваенга) English sub. (Mirror)” — https://youtu.be/b8HyJ7uvoNo
And I also like to imagine these souless European quizzlings powdering their noses and puffing their sagging bras with an image of Elena Vaenga singing “seethe like waves … the sacred war” in the shadows of the darkened washroom mirrors: “Let us put a bullet in the brow of the rotten fascist vermin” (1:54). Indeed the times are approaching, it would seem, when this sentiment will be again on the lips of patriots and Clinton’s ‘deplorables’ from yellow-vested Paris through to barricaded USA DC.
What the # % ^ * has this contrived question got to do with Russia celebrating the victory over European fascism? Was the purpose to elicit a response from the anti-Putin trolls?
I want to point out that Russia defeated the Nazi fascist threat to the world, and today it is in the process of defeating the AngloZionist threat to the world. Has there ever been a better reason to move to Russia, or to learn the Russian language? Or to do both?
Because Paui Graig says so? Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin saved Russia from total collapse at the cost of great personal sacrifice. Those calling for his removal from both sides – prowestern and pseudopatriotoc serve the same foreign predator
76 years ago Russia Destroyed National Socialist Germany
(Machine translation from original article in Portuguese)
76 years ago, Russia destroyed National Socialist Germany once and for all. The hypocritical West of “liberal democracies” and “human rights” does not even today recognize the fact that it appeased Hitler until 1939 because it intended to use the Nazi regime as a hammer against Russia.
Today historians say that they are aligned with the great lie that runs around, that the West wanted to use Hitler to contain Russia, because it feared “Bolshevism” . All lie! The problem was never Bolshevism, nor Stalin, nor any Communist Party. The problem was Russia and its economic and military rise, something that the Anglo-Zionists never tolerated and always saw as a strategic and even existential threat to their project for world domination.
The Jewish elites who advised Roosevelt and the psychopath Churchill, had a death hatred for Russia and the Russian people and did everything they could to provoke World War II. It is no coincidence that Wall Street directly financed Hitler’s regime and provided economic assistance to the Third Reich, which was vital in putting the Wehrmacht in a position to launch devastation and terror across Europe . The real target of all these money movements from Jewish or Jewish-controlled banks, for the Hitler regime, was from the first moment Russia and Josef Stalin, who was considered by the Anglo-Zionist elite to be a kind of “national dictator ” -communist”reactionary and anti-Semitic, which had to be destroyed at all costs. We must not forget that it was Stalin who ordered the murder of the Jew Leon Trotsky, who was the Rothschild’s man of trust in the Soviet Union. The Zionists never forgave Stalin for purging not only Trotsky, but many other Jews who strategically held positions of power in everything that was the state apparatus of the Soviet Union. Do you now understand better the insane hatred that Stalin is still the target of today in the media of the system? …
All the money that fell into Hitler’s hands and which originated on Wall Street, had the sole intention of preparing the Nazi regime for a war against Russia, which in Western propaganda was referred to as a kind of satanic hell on Earth. Now, the historical facts and the archived documents, today clearly demonstrate that the Soviet Union and Stalin did not want any war and were even trying to find a way to live harmoniously with the rest of Europe. Stalin, in spite of all his flaws that were not few, made every effort to prevent a war in Europe and tried by various means to reach a common security and defense agreement with the Poles, who under the absolutely nefarious influences of London and Paris have always refused any agreement with the Soviet Union.
When the Germans advanced on Poland in 1939, Stalin had no choice but to annex a buffer zone in eastern Poland, in order to prevent the Wehrmacht from being stationed directly at the border of the Soviet Union, something considered to be intolerable by the Russians .
The Soviet Union was the best guarantee of security and defense that Poland had in 1939, just as today Russia remains the best guarantee of security for the Polish state, however, the Polish government under the influence of the West refused such a project on the eve of the Second World War, as it continues to refuse today and prefers, instead, to be a member of NATO, something that is from the military point of view suicide for Poland. Short and thick: Russia, if it wants to, can completely destroy the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland in less than a week and there is nothing in the world that NATO can do to prevent such a scenario . The “security” that the Poles think they have found in NATO, is therefore a pure illusion.
The great mistake of the Anglo-Zionists who financed Hitler, was that they did not realize that the Nazi doctrine placed a primordial importance in the correction of the injustices practiced against Germany in Versailles and for this same reason, the first major target of the German war machine would be precisely France and not Stalin’s Soviet Union. The Rothschilds paid dearly for this miscalculation and when they realized that Hitler was unstoppable, they had no choice but to support Stalin, especially in the early stages of Operation Barbarossa , when the Russians were desperate for any weapons and ammunition, should they come where they came from.
The important thing to remember today when studying the Second World War and its causes, is to realize that the same people who were behind Hitler’s financing and his lunatic regime, are exactly the same people who today want to provoke a new world war and they are doing everything they can to destroy their old enemy, that is, Russia. Yesterday was the “communist danger”, today the “danger” is Putin, the “terrible dictator” and “murderer” who poisons opponents and wants to rebuild the Russian Empire. The West’s rhetoric against Russia is always the same , regardless of the regime that is installed in the Kremlin.
Whatever happens, one thing is certain: if the SS divisions and the various armies that Hitler sent to the Soviet Union, they did not succeed in bending the Russian people, it is absolutely certain that they will not be the “cup of milk”, transsexuals, and homosexuals who today pass as “soldiers” in NATO, who are going to break Russia. The Frankfurt School Jews who hated the West so much and did everything to undermine it, seem to have forgotten that a society of effeminate men and people who operate on the basis of “gender ideologies” , “affirmative actions” , anti-depressants and “greed”, it is not a society capable of raising a minimally decent army. So let no one in the West be deceived: if the war really does come to Europe, the Russians in a matter of days will turn NATO boys into minced meat , this is the only thing they can be sure of at 200% and it would be good that all NATO military personnel should be aware of this, so that they can avoid their own deaths which, in addition to being tragic, will be absolutely unnecessary.
@anonima “The great mistake of the Anglo-Zionists who financed Hitler, was that they did not realize that the Nazi doctrine placed a primordial importance in the correction of the injustices practiced against Germany in Versailles and for this same reason, the first major target of the German war machine would be precisely France and not Stalin’s Soviet Union.”
That is not true. Hitler never wanted to fight France or the UK. He himself stated: “If the west is too blind to not see that everything I do is directed against the Soviet Union, I have to defeat the west first so Germany does no fight a two-front war”.
“it is absolutely certain that they will not be the “cup of milk”, transsexuals, and homosexuals who today pass as “soldiers” in NATO, who are going to break Russia. ”
ok, stop repeating what you have read online and take a step back and think!
we can agree that all those transsexuals, homosexuals are in their core nihilistic, yes? yes.
we can agree that today’s wars a fought from a distance, yes? yes.
so there is no better soldier then a LGBTQA in the present of times who is ready to push the button
and nuke the russians, because he is nihilistic in nature, he doesnt care, he is unhappy, he hates the world
so “why not end it”… A family oriented western soldier might have doubts and be hesitant, a nihilistic
one will not
most internet “analysts” mock the western army, but western armies are more dangerous then ever
“So let no one in the West be deceived: if the war really does come to Europe, the Russians in a matter of days will turn NATO boys into minced meat , this is the only thing they can be sure of at 200% and it would be good that all NATO military personnel should be aware of this,”
this is also a fallacy often repeated online and picked up by common folks, so lets discuss it
we can agree that you often read how Russians wiped the Georgian army, trained and armed by NATO,
in few days, yes? yes.
we can agree that you read about russians dragging “war trophies”, e.g. hummers, yes? yes.
but did you read that the russians had as many KIA as the georgian side? guess not.
did you read that russia lost few TU-22M bombers? guess not.
for me, a loss of a TU-22M >>> loss of few hummers
so there we have it, no matter how much bravo and chest-thumping some russian born internet “analysts”
do, reality is much different:
1. war has it’s cost, even for russia, it is not possible to just “win” without losses, here those “analysts”
are as unrealistic as some US army fanboys
2. Russia’s demographic wont allow any “push to the Atlantic”, they just cant do it, they dont have the
manpower for it, the world has changed, other countries’ populations grew alot while russia’s stayed the
same, if russia cannot afford to control ukraine, how could it ever control all of europe – pure nonsense
of some internet arm-chair generals (*cough* martyanov *cough*) who imagine they are specialists … (LOL)
3. if the russians start shooting zircons and other rockets, well, then you already crossed the nuclear threshold
and all bets are off
4. best outcome for russia if attacked is that she fights off the attack and survives, but nevertheless the cost
will be irreplaceable, this is why the west will slowly grind russia down, a war here a war there and the costs
keep adding up, costs in treasure and life
anyways, the advice i give is for all to take a step back and think, not just blindly repeat stuff you read online
– LGBTQA are not nihilistic. I don’t know where you got that idea.
– Even if they were, a common soldier does not get to decide on pushing the nuclear button.
– Russian army has seen a lot of reform and modernization since 08.08.08.
– Nobody has ever suggested any “push to the Atlantic”, so why bring it up?
– Andrei Martyanov is a former officer and a military analyst. What are your credentials?
[ 3. if the russians start shooting zircons and other rockets, well, then you already crossed the nuclear threshold
and all bets are off ]
– Well, you previously claimed that western armies are dangerous because they are “ready to push the button”.
What happened to “all bets are off” in that case?
Anyways, my advice to you is: learn how to make a better pretzel.
Q: Andrei Martyanov is a former officer and a military analyst. What are anon’s credentials?
A:anon is an Internet warrior committed to spreading the message of Western omnipotence and invincibility where anon’s ”expertise” is neither wanted, nor needed. I am of the firm conviction that anon’s credentials make Martyanov appear dull /sarc off/.
The advice I give you is to please waste your awesome hasbara elsewhere. There are a fistful of sites out there where Western invincibility and omnipotence are taken to be 100% axiomatic, and where your stardom will be recognized instantly. Seriously: Do you really believe we haven’t been exposed here to this impertinent and, let’s be frank, intellectually challenged kind of garbage before you came along?
I notice that the civilian Russian government officials do not go around saluting military as they do in the US. Nor did the Tajikistan President (and current rotating head of the CSTO). Seems much more appropriate.
In all honesty, Russians do know how to have a military parade. My only criticism is, they need to finish it up with a firepower demonstration. Nothing like a little close order napalm to warm you up on a cold Russian day.
every year I watch victory parade, every year I watch the final fireworks, such a wonderful experience, the west has nothing to approach it and generally do not respect victory day. Such a memorable day with mixture of so many feelings and so beloved of Russians and their families. It is the true way to remember 27 million, it is always a timely reminder of the complete existential threat that was imposed on the country, memories of which still, to this day, reside in all families, stories handed down from generation to generation. Anyone who spends this day with Russia can understand how, today it is heeded and upheld by Putin and Russian military, never again will she feel the threat of annihilation, she will impose annihilation on those who try the same thing the Nazis did. God bless Russia, may strength, fortitude and good fortune always be yours, never fear the west, engage them on the same terms, it is the only thing they understand. Good will, patience, thoughtfulness, politeness and tact are wasted on genocidal maniacs.
This is the official viewpoint as stated on May 07 2021, of the German Government regarding who was responsible for the start of WW2:
‘The repeated attempt in recent months to rewrite history so disgracefully requires us to speak up loud and clear – something that should not actually be necessary in view of the irrefutable historical facts – and to leave no doubt whatsoever that Germany alone unleashed the Second World War by its invasion of Poland and Germany alone is responsible for the crimes against humanity of the Holocaust. Those who sow doubt about this and thrust other countries into the role of perpetrator do injustice to the victims, exploit history for their own ends and divide Europe.’
Ralph, the socalled German Government is a puppet theatre, the U$ Occupation Forces pull its strings, its squeaky voice comes from The Man from Uncle behind the scenes.
The truth is, Anglo Zio Capitalism alone unleashed the Second World War by building up Nazi Germany financially, industrially and militarily, and refusing to allow the 3 principle regimes — Poland, France and England — to accept Stalin’s 1938 offer of an Anti-Nazi Front. The AZC alone were responsible for the ensuing crimes against humanity that caused the death of 50 Million people worldwide. Whoever causes a war is guilty of every crime, because war is a source of all other crimes.
It was the Soviet army and the Soviet army alone that chewed up 80% of the Wehrmacht, stopped the horror in Auschwitz and liberated Poland, Hungary, Rumania and finally liberated Germany itself from the Nazi monsters that these countries had bred from their intercourse with Anglo Zio Capitalism.
There is no European nation (if it had to endure an occupation) that would prefer a Russian communist or non-communist occupation over the German one whether, Nazi or nor. Or simply put: no European people or nation, including Slavic and orthodox ones, really likes Russians or Russia, irrespective of its political system. So, in that sense Russians can rightfully speak only of their own liberation from Nazis and celebrate victory. As soon as they crossed their western border they became occupiers. That’s how they were seen than and are seen now.
If true then those people thinking that way are insane. In the Slavic countries the German occupation resulted in millions of people murdered. The Soviet/Russian occupation had light years fewer in number. The German occupation intended to slaughter millions more,Germanize the few that they thought looked German,or could show any ancestral German blood, and either keep the rest as slaves,or exile them to beyond the Urals. The German occupation was not really intended to be in the East an “occupation”.But instead was a “colonialization”. The Soviet/Russian limited “occupation” changed the society and its leaders in a Communist and pro-Soviet/Russian direction. When new anti-Communist leaders came to power they undid that, and fanned the flames of anti-Russian hatred. They and the US/EU/NATO have doubled down on that hatred ever since.
“Or simply put: no European people or nation, including Slavic and orthodox ones, really likes Russians or Russia, irrespective of its political system.”
Tell that to the people of San Marino and Bergamo, Italy. Russian military went into the heart of the worst hot spot of Covid-19 deaths and stopped the pandemic in its tracks in Bergamo. And the entire nation of San Marino is the first nation totally vaccinated with Russian Sputnik-V vaccine.
Your hyperbole is asinine. It is one thing to not want to be occupied by a foreign military, and quite ludicrous to say no European people or nation, really likes Russians or Russia. And then you double your asininity with “including Slavic and Orthodox people”.
Why the hell do you come to this forum and light yourself aflame as a Russophobe?
The Europeans in Auschwitz loved the Russians who liberated them.
We know who doesn’t like Russians. A-holes like you, ignorant and malicious.
I see you did not get much response to your asinine comment, but I, being a Russian girl, will give you one.
Men like you would have no hope in Hades to ever get themselves a Russian girl. You can only dream of one.
And you know why you cannot have any of them? There are some men that can be called life’s losers..
Katerina, I second your observation, he don’t stand a snowball’s chance in Hades of even conversing with a Russian Lady. But I’ll tick him off even more, considering his chances of attracting even a scammer border on roughly 100% below possible.
My wife is Russian, we were introduced by mutual friends in summer 2004 in Moskau (neither of us was looking for a mate and neither of us had every married). We laugh to this day of our comments to our friends after the introduction, as in “She’s too young!” and “He’s too old!”. We married in 2006 and since she did not want to come to The Land of Round Doorknobs, I came to her. If we were any happier we’d be arrested for ‘unsoviet hording of happiness and failure to share same in true soviet traditions’. And oh yeah, the kicker to really wedge his knickers. We have a 21 year age difference, of which no one here so much as raises an eyebrow about. And no, I’m not ‘rich’ by any stretch of the imagination.
‘Europeans’ hate Orthodoxy because it didn’t follow them in their apostasy. Orthodox Russia is a permanent reproach to them and they cannot suffer that.
@Bernd
I think you are tackling complex subject with your simple and ignorant mind.
A simple statistical comparison of March of 1939 vs. August 1968 events in Czechoslovakia should give you clue providing you can grasp it.
Learn then come back.
There are drug addicts that require a fix and there are dealers that satisfy such. There are folk online who require attention similarly by posting such as Bernd does here.
Our job is not to become the dealer of satisfaction that might give him some relief.
That was quite vitriolic comment, Bernd. In general, no nation in the world (not just European) likes to be occupied by anybody. I do not think there is preference here.
Your comment that there is no European people or nation, including Slavic and orthodox ones, is not true. I would like to state clearly that i like Russia and Russian people and I am not the only one. Please do not make statements in my name in the future. I am Slavic and orthodox.
Concerning the victory day,
this was my answer in fb to a well-intentioned gentleman of soscialist convictions who argued that the west doesn’t hate orthodoxy but it’s just a conflict between capitalism and soscialism.
With all due respect I have to disagree a little. It’s totally the other way around.I agree that capitalism hates socialism but if we dig deeper it’s a spiritual conflict that goes for ages, some would say eternally. Ideologies are roughly 200 years long. But the pathological hatred of the west (Catholic, Protestant or atheist) to anything Greek, Orthodox and later Russian goes back to Charlemagne in 800. Greek world was destroyed by the barbarians disguised as Crusaders in 1204. Then started the modern period of hellenism mortally weakened. As for Russia it attracted for nearly 900 years the animosity of the west because Russians remained Orthodox and weren’t converted to Papism. Hundreds of years of plundering the Russian land : Teuton knights, Polish – Lithuanians, Charles of Sweden, Napoleon, the Bolshevik coup, the German nazis. And when Russians liberate their lands they are constatly demonized as aggressors.
It was always cultural and geopolitical wars under the facade of ideology.
People who espouse socialist ideals please note that Orthodoxy with its focus on community ideals and spirituality is a totally different model from austere Calvinism which gave birth to the inhuman individualism of liberal capitalism. Even the Soviet socialism created by Stalin was not what Lenin and Trotsky had in mind. It was a draconian model designed to save Russians and all the peoples of the Soviet Union from the imminent hitlerian aggression. He had not much time so he had to be ruthless. He had to counter Nazis, US-UK covert hostility and the fifth column of trotskyists. Tons of blood but very very far from the lies of western propagandists.
Stalin, Soviet Union, Russia smashed the nazist monster and gave the ungrateful west 60 years of peace and prosperity.
A prosperity that is being destroyed by the western monetary and banking policies and not by Russia or China. And a peace that is being endangered by the return of the clintonian (rhymes with hitlerian) democrat war hawks. The same set of people who :
. Genocided the Serbs in the 90’s in Croatia, Bosnia, and Kosovo- Metohija and recreated the Balkans of 1942 nazi occupation. Only Greater Albania is missing – coming soon not under Italy but this time under US-NATO.
. Slaughtered the anyway ineffective Greek economy for 10 years under the auspices of the IMF-ECB, returning it to a third world colonial economy and bringing the Greek society to ruins ready to be devoured by the ever aggressive Turkey. A historical repeat of what happened between 1204-1453.
. Designed and executed the nazi coup in Ukraine with the aim of stabbing deeply Russia. Putin the showed great restraint. This was perceived as weakness. I am afraid that Russia has to save the west from its worst self again. Like with Napoleon. Like with Hitler. So long live the antinazist victory
‘People who espouse socialist ideals please note that Orthodoxy with its focus on community ideals and spirituality is a totally different model from austere Calvinism which gave birth to the inhuman individualism of liberal capitalism.’
To put it simply I am currently examining the difference between the Asian ‘family’ orientated societies and Western ‘Individualism’ and how this is the essence of the conflict between China and the US.
This is a deep and historic topic yet this quote may help: “Individualism” and “individuality” from a technical viewpoint, the former is depicted as social and ethical phenomena of human relations and conduct, while the latter is depicted as a psychological phenomenon of mental growth.
Therefore within a family individuality can exist yet not individualism.
On this day I’d like to point out not so well known post victory tragedies of returning soldiers. Great sadness, immortal regimen March brings some healing. Thanks Mr VVP!
Before we celebrate too much, remember the new nazis aren’t beaten yet. From a resident of Donetsk:
Hunting for people
On May 6, ′′ Germans ′′ shot at children walking from school by a group. Children were dragged into yards and shelter by residents and hid… shot bmd..
On May 7, they beat the working kindergarten. A shell near the sandbox.
On the 8th, the shell hit school when there were no children. Not long ago, too, to the school where there was only a watchman…
Vladik from Alexander, angel of the 4-year-old killed – have you forgotten yet?
CHILDREN HUNTING IS ON.
AND IN EASTER, A BATH DRIVEN TO THE SIDE OF THE YASINOVATSKY Cathedral FLYED TO KILL A BATTLE DRANK. KICKED OFF.
On the 7th, 4 defenders of republics were killed according to official data.
And the body of the militia with the callous Makhno has not been given away by enemies for a week.
On May 8, an elderly man is KILLED in the evening of the bmd.
′′ TRUDOVSKI. RED AREA. About 21 00 on the street. Tomsk 10 A resident of Puchkin Anatoly born in 1939 BMP shell fell under his feet. A man survived during the WWII and died at the hands of fascists who returned and fired at Donetsk.
⚡ On the eve of the Victory Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine kill an old man born in 1939! The man survived the Great Patriotic War, but could not survive this one. How much can you give to the inhabitants of Donbass? We are talking about the fact that Russians do not leave their own!
But why then in Donbass on the eve of Victory Day kill people?
You celebrate that victory in the war, with kebabs and vodka and shouts Thank you grandfather for the victory and Russians do not give up. While nearby they kill their own for almost a decade for being Russian and not giving up. And you don’t notice them. Tired of it.
But that war came alive again. That war has revived. Fascists of Bandera and the national team of European interventions – and a handful of reborn Russians are against them.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N3KWyRqUpm4
Thanks Uncle Bob for pointing out those human souls that are in shadow of candle stick.
In my earlier post I proposed couple of links that are relevant to understand victory day fully.
After the parade, as Putin walks and walks with a group,—who is that big portly “giant man” in civilian clothes who walks all the time on Putin’s left side? He appears to be very significant.
The Nazi sickness remains in many European countries, When I see the Nazi poison spilling from the Baltics and Ukraine I am thankful when I see Russia’s answer marching in the streets of Moscow. My family owned a hotel in Vancouver when the Russian Army entered Yugoslavia and helped liberate it from the Northern and domestic plague of Nazism that killed my father, four uncles and two grandfathers. Beer was free that day to thank in a small way the sacrifice of the Soviet people in eliminating the hydra whose head is popping up again in Albania, Croatia, Poland, The Baltics and Ukraine fed by the American dementia.
My wife and I have been in every Victory Day Parade in Sevastopol since 2015. We are Red Army Sevastopol, based at 35th Battery Museum on the far southwest side of Sevastopol.
For those who thinks such a parade is easy, here’s what we, as simple Red Army, do. Every vehicle you see with Red Army, every piece of equipment right down to the tools on the vehicles, every scrap of uniform, every boot, every belt. is privately owned and maintained. From early March each vehicle, and every one is real and from the War, is brought to flawless readiness and operation. These vehicles are minimum 76 years old and some much older, but all served in the war. In total we have about 40 vehicles, 25 or so are actually in parade. The amount of work that goes in to these antique vehicles can not be imagined unless you are actually there and working on them.
Every uniform, belt, boot, cap, button and medal (all of which are real and awarded to the wearer in the last two decades) is fluffed, buffed and shined to perfection. The brass buttons on some of the officer’s uniforms are exactly that, brass and held to the uniform with a simple but effective brass clip that is invisible to the eye. Almost all the uniforms are actual period uniforms, in other words new old stock that is becoming rather difficult to find today albeit some exact copies are becoming available. The uniforms for the numerous children of Red Army members are all hand made and correct.
For my wife and I, we spend two weeks getting our uniforms ready. She literally boils my white linen dress blouse to blinding white and irons it perfectly. Her uniform is field uniform, in other words Soviet Green, mine is senior Navy officers full dress from 1942 as are my low (and real, 1942 issue) Navy boots. Every button on my uniform is polished to mirror finish as are the stars on my shoulder boards. That’s 8 brass buttons and six stars, and let me tell you how long it takes to polish them two times with all the nooks and crannies in them, especially the stars.
In the mean time there are numerous meetings of Red Army, not only with members but also with Black Sea Flot officers, all to coordinate to extreme detail who does what, when and how, right down to which M72 side car motorcycles will be in the lead and what distance the first, and single, lead vehicle will keep behind them. In addition to all this, it is decided where Red Army will gather and lager before the parade and assuming the proper positions behind the Russian Army heavy equipment which follows all the soldiers, sailors, Marines and Spetznaz marching in the parade. And all this work is in addition to all Red Army members’ ‘civilian’ vocations.
So. All is fluffed, buffed, shined to perfection and in first class operating order. Then comes Parade Day, 09 May (and this has deviated only once in all these years, last year because of the virus Parade was postponed to 24 June). We are up at 03:00, usually the nanny for the children arrives the night before but this year, sadly, she was not available so my wife could not participate in Parade. After a quick breakfast the uniform is donned, VCO checks every lace, thread and button for perfection and out the door I go at 04:30. Drive to 35th Battery usually takes an hour what with the huge turmoil of road rebuilding going on but fortunately at 04:30 or so there is little traffic out and about. Arrived at Battery Main Gate at 05:15.
As others arrived, all is ready to convoy with the Spetznaz unit lagered next to Battery at 06:10. Convoy is proceeded, escorted and followed by VAI, Military Police, and the speed is 35 kph. At intersection of Kamyishova and General Ostravka at 5th Kilometer, Spetznaz turn left and go north to Ulitsiya Lenina to assume their position in Parade. We continue on to Ye’katarina’s Gate Monument and lager there as the rest of Red Army arrives from all over Gorod Sevastopol, a good number coming from Balaklava. At 07:00 sharp Red Army proceeds down to the intersection with Ulitsiya Hero of Sevastopol, VAI hold the intersection for us to turn in column and we proceed down to the ascent to City Center near train station. Everyone halts and dismounts, then the final meeting and instructional is held, so detailed such as to not to put your hands in your pockets whilst talking to the citizens and where the designated smoking area is, and again there is the usual prohibition about tossing aside the butts, all must go in the fire proof can located in the smoking area.
At 08:00 sharp, we saddle up and go the short distance up the ascent to the south end of Ulitsiya Lenina, takes about 5 minutes if that for the first to arrive. All is sorted out with Fleet officers as to what vehicle is where in the parade, and there we sit until Parade steps off 10:02 at the far north end of Ulitsiya Lenina at Nahximov Square and the reviewing stands. This year, as in all years past, many tens of thousands of citizens are pouring down Lenina to line the streets, by Parade time, about 50 meters from us and all the way down Lenina to Ulitsiya Nahximov and west to Bolshoi Morskoi, then south to Ushakov Square at the end of Bolshoi Morskoi.
Our vehicles and uniforms, and we, are inspected by what seems to be every citizen passing past and through us. I don’t know how many photos were taken of me and all of us with citizens, children, veterans, you name it, and many questions were asked about the vehicles and us, especially by first comers to Parade. All in all it can be a bit exhausting but also worth it to educate those who don’t know us who we are and what we are. All the locals who were here in ’14 know and some would pitch in to ‘educate’ the newcomers about what Battery and Red Army did in early ’14. As an aside, Media are given the RoE, Rules of Engagement, IOW who and what they can photo, who and what they can not photo and who and what they can and can not ID. My wife and I always fell under the ‘no photos and no ID’ until last year when it was allowed to show one image of us per event but no ID. After their little stunt last year, this year it was back to ‘no photo and no ID’, which drives media nuts because they all know exactly who and what both of us are, as does just about everyone else in this village. It’s never a sad moment to drive them insane.
So. 10:02 and all begins, far north of us almost a klick away. And as an aside, May is NOT summer in Sevastopol, albeit the weather is noticeably softening by this time. Not this year. Clear as a bell and +2 when I left the digs. By step off time it was a balmy +10 (40 F) with a gentle breeze blowing since well before dawn of about 25 knots blasting up your kilts, in other words it was colder than a mother in law’s kiss. So, after all the speeches and soldiers marching hither and yon the vehicles begin to move, this year the Russian Army units were led off by a T34/85 from Sapun Gorod Museum, said tank actually a participant in the liberation of Sevastopol in 1944 and restored to flawless appearance and running by Black Sea Flot repair cadre. We started to move around 10:40 or so, distancing ourselves from the last of the heavy transports with Army. And the cheers start and never end the whole way down to the reviewing stands on Nahximov Square and around the rest of the route. I am the senior officer of Red Army (honorary as far as the rank, Kapitan First Rank, O6, goes) and as such I am in the lead Willies behind the M72 motorcycles, alone in the middle of our column, vehicles behind my vehicle are in pairs side by side. We salute every veteran we see in the crowds, time of service don’t matter, and from the south end of the reviewing stands all the way across Nahximov Square we hold the salute for the veterans and senior officers standing with the civilian brass. Since I am the senior officer, my salute is returned by all the serving officers and most of the veterans in the stands. This cheering and saluting goes the entire over two kilometer route of the parade up to the very end, where we stop, shake out and part ways back to our lagers. I went back to 35th Battery, spoke to the PTB for a while, then headed home, arriving at the family schloss around 15:00. Tired? I’m old now so yes, pretty tired. A good meal, told VCO everything we saw and did, had a beer and took a bit of a nap.
Every second of the hard work leading up to the exhaustion at the end is worth it just from the looks on the citizen’s faces and the continuous cheers as we advance through the Parade route. No country but Mother Russia puts on such a parade as this, no country no where. Makes one proud to be here and the looks on the soldier’s, sailor’s, Marine’s and Spetznaz’ faces tells all, they glow with pride as do our citizens. Yeah, worth every second of it.
Never The Last One, paper back edition. https://www.amazon.com/dp/1521849056 A deep look in to Russia, her culture and her Armed Forces, in essence a look at the emergence of Russian Federation.
Great respect dear friend Auslander, you must be mighty pleased with the parade, which would not have been the same without VCO by your side. I am sure you retold every moment in your compelling style.
Yesterday was Mother’s Day here and we raised a glass or two in honour of Mother Russia and to cousins in Sevastopol and Moscow.
I have just now watched the Red Square Parade and every face glowed with pride. I liked the elderly lady who clutched onto President Putin’s hand and wouldn’t let him go, not until she had told him her story. His patience was particularly moving.
As you say, no country puts on such a magnificent show of pride and stamina.
Babushka,
How right you are, Ye’lean’chka was sorely missed and not only by me, she’s an integral part of the Parade, probably more than I am. The inquiries as to why she wasn’t with me were always with concern for her, and when I told them why, that Ruslan, Plyushya and Zychkya are so old and frail that they can’t be left alone for 14 hours, their concern instantly switched to that little troika.
Next Parade, tell you cousins in this village to seek us out as we sit at top of Lenina, they’ll get a Tsar’s tour of Red Army, although I’m sure they well know the pride all of us show at Parade and they also know how loyal we are to VVP. It does sadden me immensely, I remember the ‘VE Day’ parades in US as a child. Now, nothing is left of that, or hardly anything else I remember of those times.
Absolutely awesome SitRep! A word portrait that transmits the depth of commitment Russians have for the Truth of History.
Honor. Respect. Collective Responsibility.
And the “war” for you in Sevastapol was just seven years ago, when the Ukie threat to come and kill you all resulted in your Red Army pre-emptive ‘special action’, ejecting not just the Ukies but NATO and Yanks.
Larchmonter445, my close comrade and dear friend, you know more, far more, than most about the events of early ’14 and what was done here. Suffice it to say that even today, seven years hence, it is always an amazement to read that it was Russian Spetznaz who took Krimu Rada Complex and Simferopol Aerodrome and who were the iron fist lurking in the shadows behind our babushki and dedushki as they blockaded the orcs in their lagers and bases, almost daring the orcs to do something idiotic and unleash hell on earth in return. Are they stupud or just ignorant?
Possibly both, but either way, those days ensured that the pride and patriotism in this little villager surged forward yet again and lives on to this day in spades, all one has to do is look at the faces, all the faces, in the Parade and feel that, Russian pride in being Russian. It is difficult to convey the emotions I felt, and I thank Him you can not see my face as my Willies passed the veterans and an entire line of senior officers next to them snapped to and saluted this tired old warrior, a foreigner….and who they know very well is foreigner. Pride is born of such tiny moments that are but a blink of the eye in time….pride and loyalty.
If people want to learn the truth of Krim and the Polite Green Men, your novels, though camouflaging the facts as any good fiction does, contain the spirit and essence of the people of Crimea. Not only are the books a unique read, they offer a tapestry that contains the truth and valor of the defenders of the peninsula and the Black Sea Fleet.
@Larchmonter445, even do I am 400% happy that Crimea went back home, but once again: the Black Sea Fleet do not need Sevastopol…
I invited your friend Auslander to explain you the decision taken by the Russian government back to the early 2000s
By the way #Auslander, on October 30th 2014 I was at the 35th battery for a ceremony.
If the city of Sevastopol does not attract me particularly, I must admit that I like Balaclava.
I come back to the parade, one thing you mention is the joy of the public and this is never transcribed in the articles of the western media which focus excessively on the technical equipment not on the crowd that is there
That Willys is based there, it belongs to the head of grounds and historic monuments on site. That is the one we ride in for Parade and other events, it’s genuine Lend/Lease with the original brass plaques on the dash with instructions in English. It no longer has the flat head four banger, now it’s powered by a Lada four cylinder.
As for your other post, he who owns Sevastopol owns the Black Sea. Why do you think US was so hot to take this village long before the coup in Kiev? Numbers of Navy and Marine officers were stationed here for over 5 years before the coup and they had their plans drawn up for what would be the HQ facility located at the terminus of Ulitsiya Simonuk, aka Simonka, in the Russian Spetznaz base. All of Rahdio Ghorka Region was to be Little USA and encompass the finest beaches in this berg. The locals? They were to be summarily put out.
As for Balaklava, you wouldn’t like it today, it is becoming the Black Sea Yacht Club, much to the dismay of the locals.
@Auslander, My point is that the “replacement” of Sebastopol was planned already in the early 2000s and that physically today this port is not indispensable for the Black Sea fleet.
Politically it is a different story…
The port of Sevastopol is often highlighted by the MSM as the only access to the Black Sea for the Russian Navy (…) and therefore the main cause of the 2014 intervention…
This is a mistake.
The yacht club at Balaclava has existed for decades, but its extension is a recent project and it is better than the industrial wasteland that was there.
Just awesome reading and watching material; a mighty thank you! Crimea is blessed by its people and the magnificient sense of pride and honour which is there for all the world to see. Thank God you liberated yourselves with Russia’s help. Still, I have the impression that Crimea has what it takes to defeat criminal dregs such as the Ukronazis single-handedly.
2) Not every country can have fireworks of 10min straight – somebody is rich and willing to spend!!! Ah… Gold in rising in the last few months! Whats falling?
3) yes its their calling!!! Absolutely chilling to the western MIC just to imagine when each of that little flying thing is loaded w just a little fire power! No bunker is safe no private island cannot be visited! The chinese did a one million drone show on their CNY the yr prior to c19 thats was professionals… but here we have v young russian (so dangerous to the west)
otherwise its all a cultural show and remeberance of our fallen!
Enjoy the show :)
Both, VVP and Shoigu were dead serious in a different way than in preceding years ….. and at least my impression: not whole heartedly engaged with the parade. More like busy professionals who already think through their next moves on the chessboard.
Something like that – does it fit, Amman? I had the same feeling in general upon watching the parade.
I also had the feeling… like VVP is silently thinking ‘Is this the last time I see them?’ – what VVP fears most, acc his interview back some years, ‘what do I tell their parents and family when they sent back the body bags?’ Smells like preparation for war… the speech was particularly firery too!
Amman, you are correct. We could feel it way down here, too. There is a new seriousness in the demeanor of our soldiers and sailors, not only in Parade but as we see them every day on our local streets, or should I say we see far fewer than normal on our streets, they seem not worried but deadly serious now.
We need to remember what Victory Day is really about.A Russian friend posted this as a reminder:
Facebook has blocked VGTRK journalist Andrei Medvedev twice for his post about his performance in the Bundestag. The text is excellent and very good Russian, so it deserves to be read.
′′ If I had to perform in the Bundestag like the boy Kola, I think I said the following words:
– Dear deputies. Today I saw a miracle. And this miracle is called Germany. I walked to you and looked at beautiful Berlin streets, people, wonderful architectural monuments, and now I stand here and look at you. And I understand that all this is a miracle. That you were all born and live in Germany. Why do I think so? Because given what your soldiers did in our occupied territories, the Red Army fighters had every moral right to destroy the entire German people.
To leave a scorched field, ruins and only paragraphs of textbooks would remind you that there once was such a country. You probably don’t remember all the details of the occupation, but this is not necessary. I’ll just remind you of what soldiers of Wehrmacht and SS did to Soviet children. They were shot. Often in front of parents. Or vice versa, first shot at dad with mom and then at kids.
Your soldiers raped children. Children were burned alive. Sent to concentration camps. Where did they take their blood to make serum for your soldiers. The children were starved. Your shepherds ate to death. The children were used as targets. Children were atrocally tortured just for fun.
Or here are two examples. The Wehrmacht officer was prevented from sleeping, he took him by the leg and smashed his head on the corner of the stove. Your pilots at Lychkovo station bombed an echelon at which they tried to take children to the rear, and then your asps chased scared babies, shooting them in a naked field. Two thousand children were killed.
Just for one thing you did to your children, I will repeat, the Red Army could destroy Germany completely with its residents. Had every moral right. But I didn’t.
Do I regret it? Of course not. I bow to the steel will of my ancestors who found some incredible strength in themselves to not become the same brutes as the soldiers of the Wehrmacht.
On the buckles of German soldiers wrote ′′ God with us “. But they were the birth of hell and carried hell to our land. The soldiers of the Red Army were Komsomol and Communists, but the Soviet people turned out to be much bigger and heartfelt than the inhabitants of enlightened religious Europe. And they did not take revenge. They were able to understand that hell cannot be defeated.
You shouldn’t ask us for forgiveness, because you personally are not guilty of anything. You cannot be held accountable for your grandfathers and great-grandfathers. But I’ll be honest – for me the Germans are forever a stranger, foreign people. It’s not because you’re personally bad. This in me shouts the pain of children burned by the Wehrmacht. And you will have to accept that at least another generation – for whom the memory of the war is grandfather’s rewards, his scars, his front friends – will perceive you like that.
What will happen later, I do not know. Maybe after us there will be mankurts that will forget everything. And we did a lot for it, we did a lot ourselves, but I hope that not everything has been lost for Russia.
Of course we need to cooperate. Russians and Germans. We need to solve problems together. Fighting ISIS and building pipelines. But you will have to accept one fact: we will never repent for our great war. And especially for Victory. And especially in front of you. Anyway, I’ll repeat myself, my generation. Because then we saved not only ourselves. We saved you from yourself. And I don’t even know what’s more important “.
I watched yesterday the whole parade. I was highly impressed . One thing that I would like to remark is the good physical condition of pressident Putin. With all due respect I think he has put on some weight lately, nothing strange in general, but then I saw him yesterday taking a very long walk for about 30 minutes? with a fast pace that even his bodyguards seem to had sometimes difficulties to follow. Could you imagine Biden doing this? He (Biden) would surely stumbled and fell to the ground after 10-20 meters. Oh, BTW then they (US) would blame some Russian hacker for that.
The parade was great!
But the RT interpreter here is really bad: in my opinion, he is either not a translator at all or at best a beginner in this profession (so much information he did not translate – it’s just incredible how unprofessional the RT has become)…
Then he certainly was lying when he said that he was baptized.
Gee you don’t sound much different than self congratulating yanks.. Yawn…
And if the yanks don’t get the message the first time – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wzJvUJ_hsoA ;-)

Not a word from Borrell, Von der Leyen, Macron, Dragui….those promoters of “freedom”, “democracy” and “European values”
pro-Nazi Marshal Philippe Pétain, Hitler’s allied French Vichy leader, I don’t think so. Old soldier, leader of a defeted nation who had to colaborate with the occupant in order to ease the fate of his people (civilians and prisonners of war), surely.
No doubt for all the others, but Pétain was the perfect scapegoat.
He didn’t have to collaborate,no one needed to collaborate, they chose to.
@Englishman
Beautiful rendition…

Bolshevik revolution — Earth-shattering blow to imperialist oppression
American ”revolution” — Degeneracy on steroids: land-grabbing, genocide, enslavement
In Defense of Communism?????
Congratulations to all those Soviet people who fought and won on the 80th Victory Day against Nazism and fascism.
A great day to see the noble president of a noble Russian people.
I stand corrected, that should be 76th anniversary not 80th !

Bad typing, of course that should read: “Now there is a mature confidence and military strength in the air.”
Question: If US/UK/Israel hit a syrian oil tanker near Tartus, and that taker was under Russia, protection, what happens next?

What the # % ^ * has this contrived question got to do with Russia celebrating the victory over European fascism? Was the purpose to elicit a response from the anti-Putin trolls?
I want to point out that Russia defeated the Nazi fascist threat to the world, and today it is in the process of defeating the AngloZionist threat to the world. Has there ever been a better reason to move to Russia, or to learn the Russian language? Or to do both?
Patrick
Saker;
Did you watch Paul Craig’s live interview?
Do you still support Putin?
Putin should be removed. He fulfilled his mission. Now he is harming Russia with his behavior.
Out, out, out……..
Putin and Russia make a difference, Internet warriors do not.
Putin has a rock-solid popular mass base at home and abroad, Internet warriors have not. Don’t even surpass Navalny’s minuscule support.
Paul Craig Roberts is a broken record. He has constantly been accusing Putin for sleeping on the job. Has no weight whatsoever.

That is not true. Hitler never wanted to fight France or the UK. He himself stated: “If the west is too blind to not see that everything I do is directed against the Soviet Union, I have to defeat the west first so Germany does no fight a two-front war”.
Great analysis, Anonimo.
@anon
A: anon is an Internet warrior committed to spreading the message of Western omnipotence and invincibility where anon’s ”expertise” is neither wanted, nor needed. I am of the firm conviction that anon’s credentials make Martyanov appear dull /sarc off/.
@anon
Quite impressive, thank you.
Those who sow doubt about this and thrust other countries into the role of perpetrator do injustice to the victims, exploit history for their own ends and divide Europe.’
https://www.auswaertiges-amt.de/en/newsroom/news/maas-wirsching-end-second-world-war/2339620
Russia will remain un-subdued. Thanks to Russia and to God.
@Bernd
So, a Nazi occupation would be preferable to any kind of Russian “occupation”?
If that were true, it would speak more about “European nations” than about Russia…
However, your statement is patently false and it speaks only about yourself.
@Bernd
Somebody likes them Russian girls, they keep ordering them on line.
To Marcus Chapman
Auslander
Love is priceless, Auslander, no wealth required. You are both lucky to have found each other, good friends help too.
Cheers, M
‘Europeans’ hate Orthodoxy because it didn’t follow them in their apostasy. Orthodox Russia is a permanent reproach to them and they cannot suffer that.
@Bernd
Great comment, Just a Greek!!

Austlander, my admiration knows no bounds.
John,
Simply thank you. Methinks you know more than you posted.
Auslander

Auslander, my friend,
Absolutely awesome SitRep!
We salute you, VCO and the Red Army.
Thank you for the report.

I come back to the parade, one thing you mention is the joy of the public and this is never transcribed in the articles of the western media which focus excessively on the technical equipment not on the crowd that is there
#Auslander, ps: I checked my pictures there was a Willys used during the ceremony inside the 35th battery.
Kristof
Auslander
@Auslander, My point is that the “replacement” of Sebastopol was planned already in the early 2000s and that physically today this port is not indispensable for the Black Sea fleet.
Politically it is a different story…
The port of Sevastopol is often highlighted by the MSM as the only access to the Black Sea for the Russian Navy (…) and therefore the main cause of the 2014 intervention…
This is a mistake.
The yacht club at Balaclava has existed for decades, but its extension is a recent project and it is better than the industrial wasteland that was there.
Auslander,
Just awesome reading and watching material; a mighty thank you! Crimea is blessed by its people and the magnificient sense of pride and honour which is there for all the world to see. Thank God you liberated yourselves with Russia’s help. Still, I have the impression that Crimea has what it takes to defeat criminal dregs such as the Ukronazis single-handedly.
Respect!

Some observation,
1) No maks again? baby and mother no mask?

Something a little different about this years V DAY. An extra element I cannot pin down. Correct me if I’m wrong.
Regards
I also had the feeling… like VVP is silently thinking ‘Is this the last time I see them?’ – what VVP fears most, acc his interview back some years, ‘what do I tell their parents and family when they sent back the body bags?’ Smells like preparation for war… the speech was particularly firery too!
be well be safe
Amman, you are correct. We could feel it way down here, too. There is a new seriousness in the demeanor of our soldiers and sailors, not only in Parade but as we see them every day on our local streets, or should I say we see far fewer than normal on our streets, they seem not worried but deadly serious now.
Auslander
Reichsfuhrer Merkel & Napoleon Macron (and their puppetmasters) should note well there was no such one for them in 1945 or 1814.
Nor will there be if the EU push east continues.
