Has French Humorist Dieudonné, been arrested, or barred from entering Hong Kong, (where he is scheduled to deliver 2 performances)?
https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=2&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwi94cKp3v3KAhUJ_R4KHUC9CaUQFggkMAE&url=http%3A%2F%2Fvariety.com%2F2016%2Ffilm%2Fasia%2Fcomedian-dieudonne-barred-from-hong-kong-1201690732%2F&usg=AFQjCNE0Gkz-QSaiQtpwkhF_9QVX7hBm3A&sig2=ZHpYnYpSwgnv5WyedqqfoA&bvm=bv.114195076,d.dmo
Surely the Chinese Communists would not cooperate in the repression of Dieudonné?
On Obama’s speech today: He did say that Russia has “the second most powerful military in the world” and indicated that of course that was why it was doing so well against Isis who didn’t have much of a chance against them. Did I imagine a note of scorn in his voice? Like poor ol’ Isis–it was such an easy victory or was he implying that if the Russians had a more worthy opponent they might not be having such a cake walk? Maybe someone in the military actually clued Obama into the fact that the Russian military is doing an amazing job in Syria and that they , too, want the same upgraded toys to play with in order to stay #1?
Still, it’s not bad for a Russia now presented in reverse almost as a country “masquerading as a gas station”? Sneaky Putin really fooled them all pretending to have a beat up old military! and bingo launching cruise missiles from Caspian sea destroyers. And look at it now !!! Instead of making disparaging remarks against Russia’s military, Obama is forced to say that they are #2 no less!!!
Then he went on to describe how “getting Syria is not much of a prize” since fixing it up will cost Russia so much and will become such a drain. Is this a refrain of ” We broke it, you fix it!” or an expression of sour grapes? or a veiled threat that there really will not be much left of Syria to pick up? I really doubt that Obama cares much to sympathize with the cost of repairing Syria.
It was a strange, strange presentation. Graceless for sure–no congratulations for a job well done against a terrible evil. Not much emphasis on a peace process either. So much was not said that should have been said that:
I suspect even more terrible things are afoot.
This I know of Obama: he is a narcissistic person of immense vanity. He never forgives any slight or challenge from anyone. He always wants to get revenge.
He hates Putin.
He has failed at all foreign affairs.
His legacy will be rolled back instantly domestically.
He is the worst President in American history.
Witness Trump and his campaign, and you can see today, Obama already attacked Trump who will be the means of undoing all Obama has done to wreck the nation.
As for Syria, Obama has 350 more days or so to create as much trouble using proxies as he can muster.
I expect some real exchanges with Turkey and Saudi attempting to get to Raqqa first. That would be the goal. To deny Russian success in Raqqa.
He will also probably send the Ukie cannon fodder into action one more time.
He actually hopes he can hurt Russia.
And many neocons think the US should destroy Russia and think it is easy.
However, many military retired and in service see things a little differently now that Russia has demonstrated an excellent air campaign.
Trump will immediately join forces with Russia to extinguish AQ and ISIS.
Ukraine will be left to Germany to solve. So, that will wind down if there is not an offensive by the Ukies.
We are on the verge of a new opportunity to reset Global relationships.
Americans have had it with the government, the corruption and the failed wars.
I don’t know about Obama being the worst president ever. He’s got some really stiff competition: FDR, Wilson, McKinley, Lincoln … Your point is well taken, though.
In any case I wouldn’t be too optimistic about the future. Our rulers will not roll over and give up power without fighting tooth and nail, and they are not above all kinds of skullduggery. Also, assuming Trump will be as good as his word is, I think extremely dangerous.
I truly hope that you are right and Americans are indeed fed up with endless wars. This might be humanity’s only chance for survival.
Though, if we as Europeans look at all your presidential candidates together, it seems to us as if war-making and a supremacist world-view are in the American genes (just kidding; though those attitudes seem most certainly to be part of the culture, evidenced by all the glorification of the military and of war and violence coming out of the American entertainment industry).
Do you actually believe Obomba is anything more than a criminal, fully bribed puppet? Here’s a clue then, he makes no, that’s decisions. He is told what he will do and say by those actually in charge; and it’s not barry boy. There is a global agenda, being instituted by the maniacs who comprise the 0.01%. There are individuals who control more wealth, and wealth is power whether you like it or not, than millions of humans. They call the shots, they set the agenda. What has to happen for some to wake up? As for Trump he’ll be dealt with. If you believe in the electoral system and actually participate in the dog and pony show first I’ve got some great swampland to sell you. Second you are validating a criminal, fraudulent system. Ever hear of Diebold? That’s your election for you.
oh, my, you said it better than I could, I was thinking the same thing today when I listened to that stupid NPR
Obama has contradicted himself (nothing unusual for him). Over the past few years he has been publicly ridiculing, demeaning, the Russian Federation by referring to it as only a “regional power”. Guess he has revised his estimation of the RF since it now, in his opinion, possesses the “second most powerful military in the world”.
1. A new trend seems to have emerged recently in the comments section where great swathes of text are cut and pasted from Wikipedia and presented as ‘facts’.
2. As an alternate media site surely there are more sources to consider.
3. Also notice much more intolerance to comments that do offer an alternate point of view. In fact, someone suggested banning such alternate thinkers, especially those who spoke about German WWII history.
Perhaps this is a good place to say that Soviet/ German relations are complex. WWII divided families and loyalties. The Fatherland / Motherland has a duty to protect its citizens and a father and mother has a duty to protect their family. War challenged and tested both these notions.
This site has never mentioned the families who lived for 2 years under German occupation in the western regions of Russia – in particular in the Lokot region, Bryansk Oblast. Lokot was granted Autonomy under German occupation. The Battle of Kursk raged within earshot of these families and in 1943 the towns and villages were caught and crushed between a retreating German Army and advancing Red Army. Many families fled west and ended up reluctantly in Ruhr Germany. They were given work and well looked after. Then they were crushed by Bomber Harris and his 1000 bombs raid – then to end up starving under British occupation.
Let me finish by saying, the commenters who try stuff their Wikipedia version of Russia and German history into our minds, should perhaps understand that war is not black and white… but many shades in between. And at the heart of it were real families with complex stories to tell.
And… Please don’t insult the memory of these families by calling them traitors or Ukie Banderites!
My 3 cents worth.
When Russian bear and German wolf unite… the world will change

what about the vampires & wolves? (Bad language removed-Mod.ZZ).
Babushka in Oz,
Thank you for you poignant posting. War is Hell but also complex and never black and white as propaganda portrais it to the masses.
Russia and Germany have a interlocked history and future as it is with such regions. There has been over the last century powers whom have thrown a spanner in the works between these countries and they are trying again. May thrice not be successful as the past has been and even then, history did get the DDR.
The main wish is for us to be enlightened by facts which lead to historical truth and work to a better future for all.

Dear Saker community, I would like to share some observations and thoughts.
In recent years I have noticed that Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Ukraine (with the coup) are behaving more like the state of Israel in terms of the things said and done officially. They have a tendency to lie and blame the victims, kill and bomb without remorse and developing a hatred of a group of people bordering on bloodlust. And most importantly, the loss of the soul. Shameless lying. Killing without remorse. Funding terrorists to destroy countries they don’t like and accusing the victim of war crimes.
However, the works and writings of John Pilger, John Stockwell and many others had taught me that such behaviours and tendencies also existed in many dictatorships in the past (a lot supported by the West, though not all), eg. in Indonesia, Chile, the occupation of East Timor, South Vietnam, Nazi Germany, Imperial Japan, Cambodia and many others that I have yet studied properly.
When I look further back to the Empires of the West, it seems to me that a lot of the nonsense happening today is primarily about land, power, plunder and slaves. Oh Land. Landlust. The writings of Henry George instilled in me the importance of land. Land is not simply the surface of the earth, but rather everything above and below that crustal surface. Whoever controls and “owns” a piece of land militarily has power over all the resources above and below that land, as well as the slaves. Yes, unwilling slaves to be exploited, profited and eventually discarded, as well as willing slaves eager to do anything, no matter how horrific, in order to serve their new masters to enjoy some of the privileges to be a “lord”, landed elite, slave owner, etc. just like their owners.
But what about the masters? Who are they? What kind of people are they? Are they really humans? I need a lot of help here. I don’t really know. If the exceptional qualities of their minions are any indication of their masters, the following seems to be true:
1) They love to own large swaths of land and go on conquests
2) They love power and to play God
3) They love to take things without paying
4) They have large followers who love either love them, or aspires to be like them
5) Anything that comes out of their mouths is absolute truth, and to disagree means that you are a radical terrorist
6) They love pets and obedient slaves
7) They love to act like royalties
8) Their followers love the sight of royalties and dreams to be like them
9) Disobedient slaves are to be exterminated with extreme prejudice
10) Any other countries or states that dare to oppose them are to be destroyed and taken over, no matter the cost and time
11) It is crime-think for their people and subjugated slaves to wish to be free and independent
12) Divide your enemies, conquer them, own them and surgically remove human and cultural decency and the soul of the “critters that happens to live there”.
13) They love death squads.
14) They have paid and unpaid writers and trolls defending them and their established order every second of the day
15) They love to play one group against the other
16) The most favored willing slaves get to play with some of the big guns their masters possesses and directs to use them on “sub-humans” and other pesky creatures that stubbornly grows up having a back bone and self respect.
17) Making money out of other people’s suffering cannot be subjected to moral condemnation
18) They are highly capable of double-think and so are their minions
19) They love to act classy and like to create and infiltrate classy clubs. Eg. look for framed pictures of British royalties in Masonic lodges. =)
20) They are the real anti-semites
21) Anything said by anybody else, even supported by facts and data, is to be treated with contempt prior to investigation
22) They and their minions are innocent until proven guilty. Even when proven guilty, so what?
23) Other are guilty until proven innocent. Bomb them ASAP
Let me take the example of Israel and the “Jewish” lobby to explain my understanding and to summarize. The Zionist project is more and less a product of the West to control the biblical lands via a third party. Not just any third party. That third party had “proven” their worth to the masters, at the expense of their religion and culture (as suggested by Rabbi Yaakov Shapiro and also Gilad Atzmon in other ways) and that to me, meant losing their soul. The masters already have the hofjudens serving them, and now a large group are willing to be care takers and executioners. And this particular project can also make use of the Holocaust as a banner to justify the stealing and military control of Arab lands and the elimination of disobedient resistance without the masters staining their own hands. What a deal! The masters happily send weapons and money. The willing slaves kill for them and deflects blame away from the masters. The masters pats themselves on their backs for protecting the endangered Israeli state from “anti-semites” who refused to give up their rights and remaining lands. As a bonus for their actions, the masters gained free supporters for their godly morality in protecting Israel from another Holocaust in their own countries. But of course being schemers themselves, the masters allows and encourages such Jewish lobby groups since their actions just happens to coincide: stifle criticism of Israel = stifle criticism of the masters and the establishment. Don’t forget double-think, the masters love Nazis pets too! Just see Eastern Europe and Ukraine. And “moderate” terrorists are now in fashion too!
In a similar way I see the Saudi and Ukraine project now. And their bloodlust against Syria, Palestine and Yemen. And also their landlust for Crimea, and ultimately Russia. Some of the filthy slavers and landed masters and their wannabes minions are still dreaming of “getting back” Crimea!
Do correct me if I had any misunderstandings.
There is a misunderstanding regarding the term “nazi” for long now.The former – original – nazis in Germany,as a Party(NSDAP).For them was absolutely out of order to be under the order of jews. The ukronazis on the other hand, are working wery closely together. Therefore, the “nazis” form eastern and western Europe (or rahter those whom are portrayed as nazis) and are critical towards the zionist and imperialist-capitalist establishement, reject the ukrainian right-sector and other ukrainian so called right-wing associations who fight against the same principals which the western “nazis” defend. The work of those who made such a confusion possible is quite remarcable.
Another point. Sometimes we make the mistake of personalizing politics and policies. All policy is controlled by the neocons in the US, and by exstention all of the West. The next book I buy will explain the transformation of each individual politician. Go back to the early nineties, as despicable a person as Dick Cheney. Was he a neocon then, when he explained that the goal wasn’t to destroy Saddam’s regime in the first Gulf War. Was Collin Powell a neocon then? What about Hillary Clinton?
“… Dick Cheney. Was he a neocon then, when he explained that the goal wasn’t to destroy Saddam’s regime in the first Gulf War. Was Collin Powell a neocon then? What about Hillary Clinton? ”
Neocon is the politically correct expression for neo-Fascist.
Seen this way, yes, Cheney and Hillary were always Fascists. Colin Powell? I think he was just a useful idiot.
Reposting my comment from Russian Diplomat Drops a Bombshell: US Expected ISIS to Seize Damascus by October by Alexander Mercouris, in response to a list provided by Uncle Bob, February 16, 2016 at 11:12 pm UTC
Well wow UB. Excellent list with lots of important details and interesting speculations.
An expendable army is definitely being assembled. Tent city barracks! No question. Great observation.
My conclusion is slightly different from yours. I don’t believe Russian forces will be direct targets of NATO actions. Provocations yes but the US will never confront nuclear armed Russia or their concentrated forces in Syria head on. The stakes are too high and exceptionals prefer others fight and die for their wealth accumulation projects. That’s the promise that keeps America asleep, written into the national psyche, by chemical and frequency. War has barely touched the USA since the 1860’s and I believe the trend will continue. In any case the main conspirators like to sweep in late, when others are exhausted.
All aggressive military actions, the invasion of Syria, will be conducted by Westen proxy and puppet forces, down to the last Arab or Turk I suppose. Russian forces will be tied down as much as possible but there will be no proper clash mano e mano. Maybe later but not now. I agree the plan is to gather a large and (mostly) expendable Arab Sunnite army who will be thrown into Syria, igniting World War 3, inescapably if not officially. There can be no other conclusion given that only war can save the AngloZionist system and time is very short.
Whatever happens in Syria, World War 3 will provide all necessary excuses for the imposition of a technocratic hell on Earth in Zion plus occupied territories. The French are leading in this regard with their already eternal emergency state. Planet Gaza is a long planned ZIonist wet dream and here we are. Israelis are the masters of repression and their methods always find their way back to the Zionist homelands.
Armeggedon has now become Dabiq, a slight adjustment of plot and geography but very much the ritual we know and love.
Please note the position of Dabiq (Armegeddon reiterated) on the map in the link below. This is likely where the Saudi-Israeli army is going.
http://www.mmo-champion.com/threads/1902636-ISIS-Why-not-just-send-a-force-to-Dabiq-and-have-the-final-battle-now
I’ll put my theory succinctly, beware the nuclear false flag, blamed on Russia.
Russia doesn’t want or need a nuclear war so will do everything to avoid it. The Empire has the opposite objective and will salt the earth.
Noting (1) strenuous ongoing efforts to provoke Russia into direct confrontation with Turkey; (2) a gathering Israeli-led Arab force building and preparing to move northwards into Syria (bonafide start of WW3, with Russia an official participant) and (3) of the posibility Russia may have no other viable option but to defend its position using tactical nuclear weapons (theoretically).
This last point, now a widespread theme throughout alt media and in commentary, is dangerous and places emphasis on a likely Russian first use. It opens up a mind-space where the nuclear false flag lie can be sold to programmed consumers, so beware.
We should be careful about what we accept as plausible. We should always be mindful of who is the aggressor.
Thanks to vot tak and others for their sharp eye on the Hal Turner psyop (from yesterday). Here is the slightly pathetic storyline from Superstation 95.1, NY, NY (imagine you’re listening to Orson Wells’ War of the Worlds):
“Then the shit hit the fan when it was confirmed that the Saudis and their allies are already transporting TWENTY THOUSAND TANKS. (20,000). Worse, 2,450 warplanes are enroute to northern Saudi Arabia and the Saudis have declared the airspace in the northern section of the country to be “closed.” Lastly, in addition to the 2,450 warplanes, four-hundred-sixty (460) military helicopters are enroute as well.
I won’t repost the links but reading his wiki you won’t be faulted for presuming former FBI agent Hal Turner is a useful idiot or blunt instrument for yet another CIA project for chaos.
Russia knows the game. They are making strenuous efforts not to be provoked.
Russia Will Not Attack Turkish Military in Syria, Says Senator
http://www.plenglish.com//index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=4611291&Itemid=1
Moscow, Feb 15 (Prensa Latina) The head of Russiaâ Ös upper parliamentâ Ös (sic) Defense and Security Committee Viktor Ozerov ruled out today a confrontation in Syria against military personnel from other countries that are not included as terrorists, referring to the Turkish troops.
The AngloZionists have started all major wars of the 20th and 21st centuries by practising false flag terrorism. They are expert like no other including Pearl Harbour, Gulf of Tonkin and 9/11 in their false flag pantheon. Here is another example of their tactics, from yesterday, where senior AngloZionist muppets place blame in advance.
Putin could end Syrian war with one phonecall, says Philip Hammond
[Yup, Putin could surrender]
http://www.thetruthseeker.co.uk/?p=129076
Again, beware the nuclear false flag, to be blamed on Russia and meant to unleash a crisis, call it World War 3, which will permit the transnational zio-plutocratic elite to execute their best laid plans.
Is this not a reasonable scenario given what we know?
If so, can we stop it by calling out their bullsh** promptly and with vigour?
Attempting to get ahead of the AZ crisis machine, let’s be clear about one thing: Russia won’t use nuclear weapons unless in the extreme situation where their concentrated forces in Syria are threatened with destruction. For a direct confrontation to occur it must be NATO which directly attacks the Russians with overwhelming force. This is highly unlikely given the doctrine of MAD. Though there will be provocations Western-backed proxy armies are incapable of threatening the main Russian force in Latakia unless NATO and especially Turkey become massively invloved.
I suspect Turk forces will be tied up pushing millions of Kurds into the centre of a nuclear sh*tstorm. They have a history after all.
After Aleppo the action moves east. Go back to the map and look at the position of Dabiq and consider the disposition of forces. The route northward is established. The Saudis are gathering a mass of frustrated and otherwise unemployed manhood which could potentially be joined by millions of refugees, Syrians, Kurds, Iraqi and so on, all gathered together for a massive and pitiless sacrifice. It is an ancient and highly profitable ritual tradition by which elites pacify and domesticate restive slave populations. It was no different in World War 1 where they succeeded in culling maybe 7 or 8 million mostly poor Christian Europeans. Tens of millions more followed in the aftermath. These people, your psychopathic overlords, have killed possibly 150-200 million people directly in the 20th century alone.
The more comforting interpretation is this is a fight for position ahead of a negotiated settlement. The Russians have suggested March 1st as a date for possible ceasefire but they must know this will never be accepted unless all proxy forces are brought to their knees. Two weeks is insufficient to accomplish this task except in the limited sense of victory in and around Allepo. Israeli politicians have made clear they have no intention of playing the short game, announcing plans and predictions of their own, heavily contradicting Russia’s own stated objectives and giving the lie to those who say Putin is an agent of Israel.
A limited nuclear exchange, blamed on Russia, is the most likely objective of AZ elites. This is how they mean to relieve the pressure of the bubble they’ve created by their unprecedented centuries long wave of criminality
Glad you reposted it, Ci eh?. No one should miss it. I nominate it for comment of the week.
C I eh?,
Although a nuclear false flag is certainly possible, I doubt it will occur. The gaming required to properly predict & control actions post-nuclear exchange would be impossible – there are too many permutations of unknown response that end in a nuclear winter. The oligarchs may have a secret space program to jettison from this planet in the event of nuclear annihilation, but I don’t believe Mars is ready just yet.
I would be worried about nuclear escalation becoming real when the missile defense shield is considered finished. That will be the cue that they feel invincible and willing to start making moves towards check mate.
No doubt this neoliberal cabal enjoys culling the masses en route to their objectives. Sick bunch. My only hope is that Trump will finally shatter this stupidity and no longer play ball. But who knows.
All policy is controlled by the neocons in the US, and by extension all of the West. The next book I buy will explain the transformation of each individual politician.
Go back to the early nineties, as despicable a person as Dick Cheney. Was he a neocon then, when he explained that the goal wasn’t to destroy Saddam’s regime in the first Gulf War. (Even George Bush 1 said he changed in his new memoir, called him a “hard-ass”) Was Collin Powell a neocon then? What about Hillary Clinton?
Go back to whole “red line” and the chemical attack in Syria. If Obama and Kerry were hardcore neocons, why would they take Lavrov’s and Putin’s escape when it came to getting rid of the “chemical weapons” and avoid a war in Syria.
Always remember, the American establishment was not hot at all on Russian sanctions. The Chamber of Commerce and the American Association of Manufacturers(major lobbies) ran full page ads against sanctions in the major newspapers. Even though the neocon line is projected and is the loudest in the media, it should be considered that the Establishment is not in lock-step in all things.
Even Obama was hestitant to be apart of the frame-up of Russia even during the MH17 setup. Once the narrative gains momentum, the politicians have to roll with it. All the ridiculous insults and statements are all staged and framed by the neocon media just like Angela Merkel, Hollande, the whole lot. The same thing is going to happen to all the so-called presidential candidates once they get elected and see whose really in charge. Trump is too dumb to realize who pulls the strings no matter how much he might appeal to Americans. Will someone tell him about the powers ranged against him?
Quoting fullback84: “Go back to whole “red line” and the chemical attack in Syria. If Obama and Kerry were hardcore neocons, why would they take Lavrov’s and Putin’s escape when it came to getting rid of the “chemical weapons” and avoid a war in Syria [..]”
My theory? Because they wanted to take that option off the table from Assad‘s armory.
From the reporting by RT’s correspondent on the ground on Syria, you can see that the head-choppers went literally underground the moment the Russian air-force got involved.
It’s not unimaginable to speculate that after Russia stepped-in, Assad could have used those chemical weapons – if he still had them – to kill them rats, at least in those areas where it was known to them there were no civilians around.
Assad could have gassed two birds with one biologically toxic stone; on the one hand: killing the head-choppers while not causing extra damage to buildings, with the extra bonus that after the liver-eaters dropped dead, you can go there [biohazard-suited and all, of course] and pick up any CIA documents that maybe laying around the place.
Now, that option is off the table and the only way to smoke the rats out of their holes is either; to carpet-bomb them [destroying ‘inconvenient-for-the-West’ evidence in the process], or fighting them on the ground, hole by rat-hole, which in turn is dangerous business for the SAA, but crucially: it’s resources and time consuming.
* I do hope any of the ^ above made at least some sort of sense, because I’m having a very un-articulate day today. More than usual :)
But to sum it up: the Yanks always jump at any opportunity they get to disarm their target before they go-in and attack.
So the USians agreed with Lavrov’s proposals and back off a little, mostly in order to get rid of the chemical weapons Assad could have used, at that point in time, against Yank, NATO or whoever-else ground forces IF it came to that.
These are the same a-holes who forced Gaddafi to disarm, and look at what happened to him!
This is also why they keep bashing Iran (well, not anymore, for now that is) about their ‘secret’ nuclear programs, even though no-one in their sane mind believes Iran is developing evil “secret nuclear programs”…
But that’s how the Hegemon get their foot on the door.
They start by b!tching about nonexistent secret nuclear programs, then they twist their victim’s arm and make them sign deals [*cough-cough* Iran deal] that they’ll never develop nuclear weapons..
…but when that is done and dusted then they move-on to the next WMD item on the list of weapons they consider unacceptable for other to have…
…and on and on the charade goes…
This is a link showing how date by date they disarmed Libya over the years [while at the same time claiming Libya was not “fully complying” with this or that disarmament treaty – in other words: nothing short of full submission + self-humiliation is good enough for these exceptionalists, eh!?], but here’s a snip from said time-line link:
.
Chronology of Libya’s Disarmament and Relations with the United States
“[..] December 2009: The OPCW approves Libya’s request to extend the deadline for the destruction of its mustard gas stockpiles from December 2010 to May 2011. According to the OPCW report for 2009, Libya destroyed 39% of its chemical weapons precursors by the end of the year but destruction of its 23 tons mustard gas had not yet begun.
2010
July 2010: The State Department’s arms control Compliance Report says that Libya is complying with its Biological Weapons Convention and nuclear nonproliferation obligations. It also says that Libya has made progress destroying its chemical weapons stockpile but has not yet met its obligations to adopt legislation to implement the Chemical Weapons Convention.

A week and a half before last Christmas, the Queen of England, in her annual Christmas address, wish all Englishmen a Good Christmas and then stated that this was to be the last Christmas. She didn’t seem to be referring to her own demise, but something ominous, or other. Then several days later the Catholic Pope, in his pre-Christmas address said something almost identical. That indeed this Christmas was to be the last Christmas. Lastly, on a a late-night talk show (Coast to Coast) a caller stated the the upcoming Mardi Gras, in New Orleans, Louisiana, was their last. Is an astroid going to collide and obliterate? What did these people mean? The Pope and Queen obviously are privy to informational sources the average individual is not.
Hi. I’ve checked the Queen’s Christmas address and did not found anything to suggest anything about “the last Christmas”. Can’t find a direct transcript or video of the Pope’s. But there are many articles alleging and quoting from “insider” sources about the topic you mentioned. Highly possible its fake information.
Oh, just to add this thought of mine: If there will be a large asteroid heading this way, you can be sure the scientists and astronomers in Russia will be alerted and prepared for it. Knowing Russia, we can be sure she will do *anything*, literally *anything* ensure the survival of her peoples and the Russian Federation. Nuclear tipped and modified ICBMs to deflect or destroy large rocks and even S-500s to knock out smaller fragments are highly possible course of actions. Lucky for us, non-Russians, that also means that we are also kept safe from catastrophic space threats.
Also, the USA definitely won’t sit around and let the evil Russians save the planet. The greatest producer of blue, red and white “super-human heroes saving the planet” movies and comics will lose cosmic face to let that happen. They probable will scramble to compete to save the planet before the Russians even attempt to launch their missiles. I don’t have faith about USA but I trust the Russians and their ingenuity. So regarding asteroids hitting earth, I feel we are in safe hands (of Mother Russia). =)
Well it will be like Armageddon.. The Russian ICBM’ will blast the rock and once the rocks are past earth, the US will somehow get a rocket up there they borrowed from hmm pakistan, india or iran and it will shoot it in the back and declare mission over.. Victory is ours and the have a parade on saving the planet and ask everyone to send in $20 for save the planet fund under penalty of drone the stealth avenger…
I see the US/UK are cranking up the propaganda on China. China is the key to breaking the dollar which gives the US and US military its power. At the moment China is addicted to the dollar the same as in the past when China was controlled by opium.
Hopefully the yanks will be stupid enough to keep cranking up the pressure on China and make them realise that the US as it is now has to be taken down.

Western “professional” sports are about as gay as it gets, especially the regulators and management. And I mean gay in the most derogatory and insulting meaning possible for the petty govno these sods engaging in. A real freakshow through and through.

The EFD ready to occupy Germany!
http://bit.ly/1R4Jvwp
An estimate 203 million people died as a result of war during the twentieth century.
How many there are, who write and have written about war during the 20th and 21st centuries… There are annalists, theoreticians, prognosticators, thinkers, artists, poets, journalists, and writers.
But how many have spent their life writing of politics and war, and the horrors of destruction with objective, detailed attention, and artistry and compassion, all effortlessly combined?
One man was Vasily Grossman 1905-1964, who was born in Ukraine. He was war correspondent on the defence of Stalingrad and the fall of Berlin for the Red Star newspaper, was an eye witness of the consequences of the holocaust, and completed his epic novel, Life and Fate, in 1960. This complex novel, with different threads of stories, is narrated both by German and Russian military, and by individuals and their families.
Translated by Robert Chandler, who is currently working on the final part of this work, (do I have that right Robert? – he has translated all of the extraordinary books of Grossman so far, my deepest appreciation to RG.)
From Life and Fate, Vasily Grossman, page 410, published 1985
“Yes, after despairing of finding good even in God or in Nature, I began to despair even of kindness.
But the more I saw of the darkness of Fascism, the more clearly I realised that human qualities persist even on the edge of the grave, even at the door of the gas chamber.
My faith has been tempered I hell. My faith has emerged from the flames of the crematoria, from the concrete of the gas chamber. I have seen that it is not man who is impotent in the struggle against evil, but the power of evil that is impotent in the struggle against man. The powerlessness of kindness, of senseless kindness, is the secret of it’s immortality. It can never be conquered. The more stupid, the more senseless, the more helpless is may seem, the vaster it is. Evil is impotent before it. This blind dumb love is man’s meaning.
Human history is not the battle of good struggling to overcome evil. It is a battle fought by a great evil struggling to crush a small kernel of human kindness. But if what is human in human beings has not been destroyed even now, then evil will never conquer.”
Update: Life and Fate by Vasily Grossman, only the first part of this work currently available, and the completed books translation will only be ready “in at least three years, sorry to say” Thank you Robert, we will wait…
Thanks for that passage, s-l (and VG). Very helpful for this deprogramming project.
Credible?
The US-led NATO alliance is dispatching warships to the Mediterranean to allegedly help ease Europe’s refugee crisis. However, a closer look at the naval vessels in the NATO mission shows that this is no refugee rescue attempt – but rather a full-on war mobilization.

Larchmonter,
You are right.
But I wonder if these two quotes are actually a warning to the hawks?
That support for US-intervention in Syria is going to wind down (“it’s not much of a prize”)?
That tangling with the ‘second most powerful military in the world’ (a nod to status-conscious American ‘exceptionalism’) won’t be a cake-walk, so think twice – or more – about escalation?
Given the general Bernaysian dishonesty of US and Western ‘image-is-all’ politics, you have to consider the possibility of subtext.
And there’s also the psychopathic factor of termination by plutocrat-controlled agencies like the CIA if the actor deviate

What does Saker think Our Great Leader, Herr Trump, a/k/a CAESAR TRUMPUS MAXIMUS?
We’ve been hearing a lot about the ‘exercise’
in KSA the last few days, organized by the Islamic Military Alliance.
We’ve also wondered if it is a cover for a planned invasion of Syria through Jordan.
What we haven’t heard so much of is how the ‘alliance’ led by Saudi is doing in Yemen.
Not good.
Now United Arab Emirates is at direct loggerheads with KSA, even to the point of deliberately targeting KSA-supported strongholds in Yemen:

Can we expect more ‘anti-government protests’ – or worse – in Brazil?
Brazil de-dollarizing to trade with Iran (US still maintaining ‘primary’ sanctions):

I’ve always maintained Iran has little or no interest in trading with US. The main objective was to get a UN resolution to lift the sanctions.
Of course, Iranian fifth columnists and oligarchs no doubt have other ideas – lets hope the IRG is aware and alert to their use of ‘soft power’ via media and consumer goods to lure youth into US clutches.

Not a bad idea, actually. Hope it catches on and spreads. The planet could do with a lot more descrimination against banksters.
Bravo Scott !
I found very important to re-post some lines from a recent article written by Scott because it went out less observed by many :
/a-curious-case-of-moty-cristal-chabad-and-israeli-militants-in-odessa-by-scott/
“Very recently, during the blunt attempt to take over the Schneersohn library, Israel and the Chabad-Lubavitch organizations had threatened Russia with prosecution, similar to the process over Hitler’s Germany, claiming that Soviet government was persecuting people of Jewish nationality. Since Germany has reduced to a trickle its enormous payments to the state of Israel and other Jewish organizations, they have decided to find another cash cow, and to milk the Russian people instead. I have very few doubts that if Russia had surrendered the Schneersohn collection to Chabad, it would then face claims of a holocaust of Jews in Soviet Russia.”
“What’s not in this video is a statement of fact that they collected an enormous amount of documents to substantiate his statement. Essentially, President Putin told to the representatives of the European Jewish Congress that it was Russia that might start the tribunal process on the account of the holocaust of Russians by the first Soviet government that was 80 to 85% Jewish, the rest were ethnic Ukrainians, militants from the Baltics, and also Georgians, and Polish militants.”
I can’t imagine that somebody can argue against such reality of facts.
Many thanks Scott and I hope you agree with re-posting this.
(I don’t know what the rules are here – apologies if this is too long). How do you do an avatar here? (yes I know – they were banned – for possible security violations? – I’m sure that can be fixed)
My wife and I now have our freedom to go to the Moveable Feast Cafe whenever we want. In fact we have had this freedom for over 10 years…when our young teenage Children said Dad ,,we really do not need a Childminder any more…We can phone you up if there is any problem…and I could see my daughter looking at her older brother looking at the 17 year old Nanny from Romania across the road…who we used to give £10 to to look after our kids for a few hours..when we went out to a local pub to see a rock band..
We live in England. We haven’t changed…but in a couple of weeks time..we are going to have a Baby in our home again. My wife and I are going to be Grandparents…and we both love babies…so I know what it is going to be like on a Saturday night…
We will still be going down the pub….to see a rock band…we’ve done our time..
On Friday night, or it may have been Sunday, I got talking to this bloke from Albania outside the pub whilst having a smoke. He was very fit – his son was there too. We kind of got talking about holidays over 20 years ago…when we took our kids to Greece – and Turkey…and very nearly went to Albania – beautiful beaches..I only mentioned war vaguely – cos one of our kids’ entertainers – and he would only be about 16 himself…was called up to go to war in Croatia – and we were all completely shocked…There had been no war in Europe since before I was born…What was going on?
Anyhow, he said he loved living in England….and had this enormous wad of notes in his hand – and insisted on buying me a drink…It would be rude to refuse…I then introduced him to my wife…and he insisted on buying my wife a drink too…
None of these wars have anything to do with us..
We don’t want wars…
We get on fine.
We are the common people.

Thanks for sharing and congratulations Tony_Opmoc, very exciting news. Glad to hear that you are with the common people and will visit this cafe regularly. If your wife has any sense and spirit though, she will head off and post random and marvellous thoughts on any other thread on this site, whenever she wants to. Cheers – the beaches of Albania sound nice!
A crtique of this article by F. William Engdahl would be interesting. I find some of his writing a little difficult to agree with (I have not yet read any of his books), especially his apparent views on global warming, but it does deserve attention:
“The initial losers in this unfolding deadly game will be Saudi, Turkey, Syria, Iraq and likely Russia”
The next sentence to the above is also rather intriguing.
“Combine all that with the quiet but strategic Pentagon deployments inside Syria and Iraq with “boots on the ground,” and we have the combination for an explosion across the oilfields of the entire Middle East that would rock the world. Truly, as the old Greek saying goes, whom the gods would destroy, they first make mad”
http://journal-neo.org/2016/02/17/washington-s-machiavellian-game-in-syria/
Thanks, Sanctuary, foe posting the Engdahl piece. Interesting that he didn’t spend a few lines to consider that the Russian President has been steeped in the internal martial arts (as well as external) since age eleven, and is obviously a worthy opponent for western strategists. Studying ancient eastern philosophy is not the same as “thinking” in Eastern ways.
It’s me, GrandmaR, here. The above thought was mine and was posted accidentally (darned touch pad!) before it was finished and typos corrected. I cannot allow it to stand as Anonymous.
On rereading it, however, I think I said almost enough. Engdahl’s article seems to me to underestimate the Putin/Lavrov/Shoigu/et al., team and the quality of Russia’s “soldier class.” Engdahl also seems to suggest that the U.S. of A. is not in disarray, which it very much IS, on almost every level, in almost every way. I know of no reason to suspect that the management class is exempt from that.
Breitbart is carrying lots of ‘rapeugee/ Muslim terror’ stories.
Hasbara out in force with any mention of Zionist agendas classed as ‘lunatic/conspiracy’ stuff. The sheer volume suggests a degree of alarm about growing political awareness of media manipulation.
One bright spot – a poll in South Carolina found the majority supporting freedom of religion for Muslims while against a migrant influx.
Suggests the US public may not be quite so easily propagandized anymore by either Libs or neo-cons.
I mean – South Carolina?

I’ve been enjoying Russian war movies lately… Russian cinema has been cutting edge (literally — editing) since the silent days, and I know almost all of Tarkovsky’s work, but I’ve recently enjoyed “White Tiger” and “the Star”, anyone have any other films to recommend (military or not)? Even the recent would-be “commercial” stuff is of a very high standard of film making, compared to the wasteful CGI-obsessed crap out of Hollywood for the last twenty years. Maybe defense and entertainment budgets share some national traits? Skol in advance.
He makes a fair point – don’t underestimate an opponent’s intelligence.
But it’s just as much an error to over-estimate it. Could make you ascribe more power to the opponent than he actually has.
So a realistic assessment is multi-variate/vectored on actual data. Rus is logical and very clever. Won’t fall for feint.
He also seems to think there’s something ‘advantageous’ in the West Point embrace of classical texts. But ‘The Prince’ is a basic text for almost all European liberal arts courses, not just politics. It’s not a manual, much less some fool-proof blueprint to success. (Besides, the likes of General ‘Betrayus’ is more likely to have a well-thumbed copy of ‘Snakes in Suits.’)
And Sun Tzu is equally widely read – even by the most mediocre of middle managers. Again, it’s not a blueprint for success in any human endeavour: that depends on many factors, including the calibre of the mind that ingests it.
American post-war boom depended on many socio, political and economic factors, some of which have been pointed out by other posters.Yet the war-battered USSR still managed to outdo the wealthy, war-insulated US in technological achievement, especially space.
Don’t they still need Russian rocket-fuel?
So while I agree with the basic warning, I don’t agree there is no conflict in the US polity.
Factionalism actually has a long and documented lhistory in USG: there’s no reason to think the current situation is any different.
That the plan to carve Syraq is still in operation is evident and no secret. Does he seriously think Rus doesn’t know that?
And he leaves Iran completely out of the equation.
Lastly, he treats all the opponent nations (US proxies) as somehow whole and hale when both Turkey and Saudi are prime candidates for civil wars. Real ones.
So no, I don’t think any mastermind is pulling all the strings behind a smokescreen – just the usual banking mafia attempting to direct from behind the curtain.
I am quite sure Rus knows who exactly has the most to gain – and to lose.
Ps Recent pronouncements from Soros sound increasingly irrational, even slightly panicked. I’ve always thought he’s a good barometer of Bilderberger/Trilateral Commission/Bankster mood.
The above post was a response to Sanctuary One’s link to the William Engdahl article.
“The kingdom of Armenia was an independent entity in the region of southern Caucasus since the 7th century BC. At the beginning of the 4th century AD, it became the first nation in the world to make Christianity its official religion. But, during the 15th century, Armenia was absorbed into the mighty Ottoman Empire. Since then, Armenians, a Christian minority, lived as second class citizens subject to legal restrictions which denied them normal safeguards. In 1915, under the cover of the First World War, the Ottoman government resolved to expel and massacre Turkey’s Armenian population entirely. The Armenian people were tortured, massacred, and starved. The majority were sent into the desert to die of thirst and hunger. Many were forcibly removed from Armenia and Anatolia to Syria. The Armenian population of the Ottoman state was reported at about two million in 1915. By 1922, there were fewer than 400,000. The others, some 1.5 million, were killed in what historians consider a genocide.”

for yrs the unitedsnake has been pressuring sk to accept the deployment of thaad, so-called missile *defence* shield. everybody and his cat knows that nothing murkka does is about defence, the very dod is classic orwelian double speak.
in washington’s cold blooded calculation, with thaad installed at china’s doorstep would offer it a nuclear first strike option, any retaliatory strike from the remnants of chinese icbms would be neutralised at launch by the thaad batteries. even if some chinese missiles slip thru the net and obliterates la and some other cities, well the psycopaths in washington would still consider worth it !
china was naturally not amused and made it clear to seoul that the deployment of thaad in sk is unacceptable. with seoul beijing economic and cultural exchange blosoming , prez park didnt take china’s concern lightly, for yrs she steadfastly resisted the snake’s arm twisting to bring in the offensive missiles ….until now !
the snake has just exploited nk’s satellite launch to ram thaad down prez park’s throat. seoul just announced it would have to take in the thaad batteries inspite of china’s vehement objection…due to the nk’s *threat*.
once again, the world’s biggest and meanest mofo gets what it wanted.

Refreshing arcticle on French site Atlantico (despitae the stupid caricatural title) where two prominent french analysts (esp Roland Lombardi) share their view of Russian intervention in Syria
http://www.atlantico.fr/decryptage/tsar-contre-sultan-choc-russie-turquie-en-syrie-est-en-train-faire-plonger-vers-3eme-guerre-mondiale-cyrille-bret-roland-2589418.html
He often intervenes on TV channels and is clearly telling Russians are doing a good thing in Syria and defending europe’s interets. While it’s obvious to most of us, it is interesting to see some voices contradicting the offical narrative, though overall french media prefer silence and omission to the kind of campaign we’ve seen on US/Uk media (safe the niticeable expetion on France 2 the otger day)
Another revealing artcle, this time for the journalist asking rather than for the analysst replying/debating: IS THE EU ON THE BRINK OF COLLAPSE JUST LIKE USSR 25 YEARS AGO? Analyssts are mainstream Europhile politicians but sill, the question is the air in some presstitue minds….
