Welcome to the ‘Moveable Feast Cafe’. The ‘Moveable Feast’ is an open thread where readers can post wide ranging observations, articles, rants, off topic and have animate discussions of the issues of the day.
The ‘Moveable Feast Cafe’ will have two new open threads each week.
The Saker stated moderation policy will apply eg ‘no caps’, no obscenity … etc to all post.
The Cafe is now open for business … come on in and have a good time.
Saker Webmaster
I like this very much – any sanctions should be on the USA, which invaded and occupies all of the Ukraine except Crimea and Donbass. It is time to set the history straight and address the narrative with some truth.
“The Big Lie today is this: that the reason for the economic sanctions against Russia, is that ‘Putin’ or Russia ‘stole’ or ‘conquered’ or ‘seized’ the Crimea region of Ukraine. The Big Truth, about the matter, is that US President Obama conquered Ukraine itself (all of it), via a February 2014 CIA coup that he had secretly started planning by no later than 2011…”
http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-07-25/current-big-lie
Not Obama himself. It is now very clear that US presidents are nothing but nominal figureheads, ceremonial mannequins, puppets without the slightest trace of decision making power (except maybe for decoration of the rooms they occupy). They do, say and sign whatever they are told. A child’s toy robot surpasses them in autonomy.

only now. Despite being thoroughly worn down by vertical hiking (Vernal Falls, Yosemite) I attempt to catch up.
Since the universal principle of gender is a reality in all things, even non-sexual realms (the inner and outer nature of things…..) I did note that she who I had surmised a he cannot be:
“Bro – I’m an Occams Razor kinda gal.”
Like I have said many times, pure BELIEF is a highly unreliable method of proceeding into the Unknown.
I would like to join in with Internal Exile (I passed through Roswell a few years ago without incident….) and chimmy but all I can observe now is that off planet realities or imaginings are a part of the on-planet poltical geometry…….like it or NOT.
From there, if choosing to not simply ignore the above fact, how do you deal with it, as a curious person who does not wish to either ignore the fact or plunge headlong into absurd, naive belief??
That’s a subject worth discussing, IMHO. But later.
Cafe opens in a few minutes, and I better “carb up” while I can. Or take gas all day, left behind by wife and sons like one of those hapless climbers on Everest.

This interview with retired FBI agent John D’Souza might shed some light on the Steele controversy :
https://youtu.be/4vdZIAYCg00
He is a researcher into the paranormal now, and apparently a believer also in alien ‘life’ – just not as we know it.
His paranormal research aside, he offers the most plausible explanation of the interview with Alex Jones, and on why Steele made his controversial claim.
(relevant section is @ 38 mins in, approx five minutes long.)
All carbed and caffeine-d up.
But can’t play the video (still in unvirtual Cafe) on latest Steele/McKinney related video so I will leave it to beneficial bacteria to break down the following links and broaden the discussion so that it can be determined What On Earth Is Happening here:

Now the next one I ‘d like to review (but can’t right now) is titled
What is Cynthia McKinney Doing with Robert Steele in this #UNRIG Thing

Maybe Saker should disassociate from McKinney until she disassociates from Steele until he disassociates from Cassidy until she disassociates from Peter Peterson?

Divided We Fall, anyone?
But Be Careful Who You Couple With.
Some Communities Seem Lodged on a Slippery Slope.
I will keep that thought in mind during today’s mountain trekking.
If we wait for everyone who is an ally in some way to be perfect and too share our opinions 100% about everything, then we will never get to arrive anywhere.
There we are…the UFO question. Many ask “where’s the proof ?”. If we take it as a logical consequence of the Universal, Galactic intelligent life probability, we can give this question a chance.
Going further, if we accept the idea of extraterrestrial beings (humanoids), following the logic of evolution (in technical and mental terms), we have to assume that the “aliens” who are visiting our planet must be much above our technical and mental capabilities. So, they surely studied this planet and everything on it, including the humans with their history, mentality and technological advance. What makes somebody think – merely publicly, but in various publications extensively – that they (those people) know exactly with whom the “aliens” have made or willing to made a contact ?(if at all)
That suppose that they are more intelligent than the “aliens” themselves…which, is very doubtful at least. In my opinion, if the ‘aliens” are willing to make a contact with humans, they shall reserve their right to choose the people. We know nothing about their physical structure and components, simply I don’t think the are as same as we are, otherwise they couldn’t “make it” in space with such distances and so on. Therefore, the idea of “human soldiers fighting on planet Mars” is pure fantasy (just google about the atmospheric conditions on Mars).
You’re right.
People tend to lose their bearings very quickly in such “terrrain”, with their minds taking incredible flights of fancy based on mis-quoting something entirely out of context, in order to either debunk something that wasn’t even said, so they can return to their comfortable NECESSARILY vastly incomplete world view based on their “experiences” OR join those eager to float off into space, with equal (but more fun!!) lack of rigor. .
Best to keep at least one foot firmly planted on solid ground at all times.
But also useful to look up from the ground in front of you and take in the whole view…..not just of earth, but also of sky.
Who needs extra-terrestrial aliens, when you have neocons (pindo foreign policy realists, too, for that matter). Hope to be back and share my thoughts on ET’s, those lesser of weirdos.

the micro-mechanics of color revolution…. abby martins useful series on the situation in venezuela… the opposition is rioting in the streets and demanding immediate elections even though they are scheduled anyway just next year… reminds anyone of ukraine ?

1. the seemingly specialized ‘hitsquads’ that seem to come organized to create violence and provoke reaction from the government
2. the oligarchs creating shortages in goods that they monopoly-control like cornflour, toilet paper etc, through conglomerates like the Polar company. things like vegetables and fruits that are produced by small producers are available
3. the attempt to play to the western audience with demands for ‘democracy’ and ‘elections’ etc, even though these are the people who launched a coup, and economic sabotage oilstrike, in 2002, and who have lost almost every election since chavez, and who are now rioting in the streets.
4. demanding maduros ouster, even though he is the legitimately elected president
5. the manipulation of the currency, through us-based exchanges… does anyone understand precisely how this is done ?
the opposition seems to be receiving funding from the us, through ned, usaid etc ?

Don’t you just love the last line meme in this British Bloviator Corp (closely supervised by MI6/CIA) offering:
“The Kremlin continues to insist it did not interfere in the US elections. ”
Russia sanctions: EU vows to retaliate over US measures
http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-40727044
Yeah, the robber say to the innocent : this innocent continues to insist he hasn’t plundered the bank (which I the robber did). Playing with the words without using a mirror.
Ah, the sanctions…yet again. Those sanctions were to happen, they were expected to happen. The Kremlin say : ” we will study it “, as if they didn’t new that this will happen again, relentlessly.
As for the EU “retaliation” , just wait for that, anyway, what kind of retaliation would that be ? put sanctions against US ? Poland has already signed an agreement just recently with the US in importing gas from there, will the EU sanction Poland ? I’m curious, what will be behind the public statements ? or…another piece of theater ?
Another piece of theater I fear. The EU is big on talk, small on actions. Unless they are sanctioning Russia. Now Russia on the other hand doesn’t talk that much. But they also don’t take actions either. I’d like them to sanction US companies in reprisal, but I doubt they will. They need to make a list of products they can buy outside the US and sanction them. Also sanction US companies that operate in the EU that they buy from. That way they harm US companies and “also” hurt the EU. Which is a way of showing the EU that siding with the US all the time has a cost to it. We’ll see what actions (if any) they take. But the track record so far isn’t encouraging.
Trump Is Being Moved Aside So That Conflict with Russia Can Proceed
It is heartbreaking to watch the Russians continue to believe, lesson after lesson to the contrary, that they can reach a deal with Washington. This unrealistic hope will destroy Russia. The Russian government will continue to grasp at straws and be put off guard.
It is utterly amazing that the Russian government can believe after its extensive history of being left hanging in the wind by its agreements with Washington that any agreement with Washington is worth anything.
Perhaps Russia is aware of the evil that they face in Washington. Perhaps the Russian emphasis on diplomacy is just a way of gaining time to get prepared for the war that Washington intends to bring to them.

Unprecedented US sanctions against Russia: little-known details, real challenges, the Kremlin’s response and full-scale consequences
http://slavluginin.wixsite.com/slavcv/single-post/2017/07/26/Unprecedented-US-sanctions-against-Russia-little-known-details-real-challenges-the-Kremlins-response-and-full-scale-consequences
I think you underestimate and don’t understand the Russian way of dealing with this type of behaviour – as the Saker has taught us the Russians are “slow to saddle and quick to ride”. You have to stop thinking about their reactions using the Western mind set/cultural way of dealing with matters. The Russians have a contemplative culture.
Some interesting points here about the latest sanctions:
http://theduran.com/russia-responds-new-us-sanctions-vows-retaliate/
“The new sanctions in economic terms do not add significantly to the sanctions which were imposed in 2014. They appear intended to target the personal assets of super-wealthy Russians – a deeply unpopular class still wrongly referred to as “oligarchs”, though the days of their power in Russia are long gone – and to impede Western and specifically US participation and investment in certain of Russia’s industries, first and foremost those in the extractive sector.”
Don’t underestimate the Russians – they know exactly what is going on. It is the US that is destroying itself……
Yeah, but Russians should not overestimate themselves also. Putin appears more ‘innocent’ than I thought the man should be. He trusted Erdogan. He tried to court Merkel and Macron. He tried to court Trump and yes, it may be that he trusted Trump. All the time he kept his most reliable friend China at arms length in terms of actual substance in the relationship. And all the time, he is playing a weak hand while exposing Russia’s weaknesses for all to see.
Erdogan cannot be trusted, much less with the S-400. And Trump cannot be trusted. He is fighting for his political life, if not his life against the ‘Swamp’. The ‘Swamp’ is draining him. And to save himself, he might throw all his friends to the ‘Swamp’. After all, it’s his art of the deal as in all are for sale! And would he throw Putin to the Swamp crocs? Hahaha. Just say when!
The Swamp don’t need to give Trump the Kennedy treatment. Trump just had to do an Obama or better still a Hillarator for the Swamp. Trump is likely to do one better and turn into a ‘Hitlerator’ for the Swamp. After all, it’s a deal and he had been elected to do deals to make America ‘great’ again. Right now, he will be ‘great’ again if he does a Hitler with Putin and Russia. He is already saying that he will trump as in better the Swamp’s sanctions against Russia!
And what about Syria? Russia’s military victory is a delusion if Russia cannot win the peace. Trump’s USD350B arms deal with the Wahhabis (Saudis) is likely to find its way to the neo-ISIS already cloned from the present ISIS. Operation Sycamore will likely be revived with a vengeance by the Saudis with new recruits from the EU – from refugees now busily radicalising their host states. This will draw in the Iranians and then it will be war, war, war! A real jihadists’ paradise all over again. But this time, the real fight to the death will be the ancient scores to be settled between the Sunnis and the Shi’ites.
And Russia? Syria as I’ve always posted, is a trap, a bear trap for the polar bear. It’s designed to be a quagmire to drain both Russia’s meagre economy and her equally not too substantial man-power. The Swamp will ensure that Russia is stuck there while heating up the many cauldrons of war including jihadi guerrilla war in Central Asia – the soft underbelly of the bear and near the bear’s neck where it will really hurt.
Putin should not be trapped into a useless quest for peace in Syria unless he can create a buffer all round Syria – which is not possible. But even a limited air involvement had costed about USD 3 billion and counting. Can the Russian economy last an expanded war in Syria?
Putin should concentrate on developing the Russian economy. So long as the Russian economy is not growing as in at least 5-6% per year, Russia is very vulnerable. The economic collapse of the USSR showed that it does not take a hot war to defeat a nuclear superpower.
However, the very size of the Russian land mass when matched against its population’s low fertility rate militiates against its economic development without massive immigration. Russia needs to change culturally, socially, legally as in its constitutional freedoms and economically in order to attract the right immigrants.
Russia east of the Urals remains cemetery-like after the genocides of the local population by the Cossacks 300 years or so ago. Economic activities in it, except for a narrow strip along the Amur and Ussuri rivers, are little different from an actual cemetery. The Cossacks made it a vast cemetery 300 years ago and it remains essentially a cemetery as such.
So we have Russia, who had swallowed a mastodon which she cannot digest and yet is involved in a war (soon likely to become more brutal) in Syria. Can Putin extricate Russia from the Swamp? At the rate Putin appeared to me to be going, I doubt it.
The only way it can end well for Russia is when the US is drained financially as in a collapse short of USSR-like since China will be there to hold her up as in 2008. Or if Putin will really embrace China as in real economic development.
In my second last para I mean to write:”….Russia, who had swallowed a woolly mammoth which she cannot digest”. Mastodon was in North America. Woolly Mammoth was in Siberia.
Cheer up and Chow [sic] down, Simon. A mammoth is eaten one bite a time – with or without vodka.
PS ‘Mastodon(ald)?
Yeah, Putin should have downed the mastodon(ald) with both vodka and mao tai. Then maybe, just maybe, he would be able to digest and excrete it!
You took my pun too seriously. Putin is, in case you have not noticed, a moderate, a democrat, a free trader and a man of peace.
America made The Donald and the swinish state in which he came to maturity. Americans will have to deal with it. The rest of us, though, have every right to start demanding quarantine for the Five Eyes + Israel.
Franz, that’s exactly the point that I have been making, including about President Xi of China. Both Putin and Xi are men of ‘peace’. And they have been touting this in their foreign policies. But as one of Israel’s kings (presumably King David) found out about 3,000 years ago, “I am for peace, but when I speak, they are for war” (Psalm 120:7).
But both are now facing ‘wars’. Putin is facing sanctions – which are a form of warfare and Xi is facing the Indian invasion in Donglong. The active and overt pursuit of peace in this world is construed as a weakness on the part of the pursuers, otherwise they won’t pursue peace.
The warmongers viewed Russia’s weakness as her economy, that’s why they target her economy with sanctions (US). The same warmongers viewed China’s weakness as her military, that’s why they threaten to nuke China and invade her land (India).
Both China and Russia should neither pursue war nor peace, but concentrate on strengthening themselves – Russia her economy and China her military. But they should give no doubts that they are able and willing to retaliate not only to defend themselves but also to exact a heavy price for aggression against them in both economic and military terms.
And as far as the warmongers are concerned, the only ‘peace’ they desire is the ‘peace’ of the cemetery. And the only men of ‘peace’ they like are those peaceful ones in the cemetery. The Cossacks would have understood this mindset 300 years ago! Putin should take a leaf from his ancestors’ playbook and Xi should be mindful of this before it is too late.
Allan Lichtman the guy(professor) who wrote the book “case for impeachment’ of DT and claims has absolutelyy predicted results of elections correctly, was on sky the other day, clearly stating this impeachment will proceed, momemtum and the case is gathering—eg I can imagine if DT refuses to authorise the new sanctions bill he will be obliterated as a traitor-the message is out there, set traps and find anything to dig a hole in the ground, keep the Russiagate going at all costs…….
Following Trumps ban on cross – dr-um, ‘transgenders’ from the military, I guess this guy – um, ‘gal’ (major Democrat donor and Hollywood player) won’t be too happy :

…. and, British Tory party (conservatives) are going to make it legal for any man who claims he’s a woman, sans any diagnosis :

Rumor has it that around a quarter of Tory male politicians are ‘married’ to each other, so no surprises there.
The British public schools system has long been devoted to producing devotees of Greek priapism, homoeroticism and eugenics.
This is just the latest salvo in the complete erasure of women and their hard – won rights, most fundamentally the natural rights if motherhood.
Last week, the new president of Germany has signed the law – approved previously by the German Bundestag – of same sex marriage. The women have lost their special status given by nature.
This talks about some less known portions of the bill just passed by aipac’s quislings.
House Passes New Russia Sanctions, Pumps Adrenaline Into Cold War 2.0
http://ronpaulinstitute.org/archives/congress-alert/2017/july/25/house-passes-new-russia-sanctions-pumps-adrenaline-into-cold-war-20/
“The vote was 419-3, with the only nays coming from Republicans Justin Amash (R-MI), John Duncan (R-TN), and Thomas Massie (R-KY).
The legislation ties the president’s hands in an unprecedented way, as should Trump decide within his Constitutional authority as Executive to pursue a foreign policy requiring the canceling of sanctions he is not free to do so. He must write to Congress asking permission to end the sanctions and give convincing reason why Congress should agree. Congress then has 30 days to consider the President’s request during which time he is forbidden from taking any action on the matter.
It President Trump does not veto this bill, it will signify that he has essentially given up on his presidency. At least when it comes to foreign policy. Will the bill for such a surrender come due should he decide to seek a second term?
It is clear that Pompeo and other hawks in the Trump Administration, along with Beltway neocons, have long endeavored to tie RT to Russian intelligence. Might this bill not open the door for sanctions against “persons” including possibly US citizens who are employed by — or even appear on — RT?
So do we see the beginning of a crackdown on RT buried in the obscure language of this legislation?
The legislation is clearly interested in information warfare. In fact it appropriates a quarter of a billion dollars for something called a “Countering Russian Influence Fund,” which will among other meddling serve to prop up foreign media outlets whose editorial line is in sync with US foreign policy. In short, the US taxpayer will subsidize “fake news” produced on foreign soil and then likely broadcast directly or indirectly back to the US to further propagandize the people who pay the bills.
It will also fund “non-governmental” organizations in targeted countries who act in the service of US foreign policy goals. It is the weaponization of the non-profit sector, courtesy of the US taxpayer.”
No doubt aipac wrote these sanction bills for the senate and house. When votes are so overwhelming in a controversial subject, look for a zionazi angle.
US Lawmaker Opposes Russia Sanctions Citing Cooperation on Syria
https://sputniknews.com/politics/201707271055914402-usa-lawmaker-opposes-sanctions/
“Congressman John Duncan told RIA Novosti.
“I recently voted against a bill to increase the sanctions already in place against Russia and Iran,” Duncan said on Wednesday. “The increased sanctions against Russia were based on alleged meddling in our presidential election. However, if they did, it was totally ineffective, and Russia has aided us recently in the fight against ISIS and reaching a cease fire in Syria.”
The congressman said he also thought it was unwise to expand sanctions on Iran after the US State Department twice verified that the Islamic Republic has complied with the terms of an international nuclear agreement.
“I just did not think we should slap them in the face when they are doing what we wanted them to do,” Duncan said.
Likewise, the lawmaker said he thought sanctions on North Korea would do nothing to hurt the ruling elite in Pyongyang, while the measures would almost certainly hurt impoverished North Koreans.
“Overall, though I think we should stop trying to rule the whole world. We are $20 trillion in debt, and we have enough problems at home,” Duncan said.”
Note: Tulsi gabbard voted for the bill, she voted for the 2014 sanctions, as well.
Black, of Virginia was apparently one of the two senators who sensibly voted against the senate version of the bill. He provides some more info on the role of the president, who apparently is the one who decides exactly who to apply the sanctions against in the bill.
‘Terribly bad mistake’: US Senator says Russia sanctions go against EU energy security & free trade
https://www.rt.com/usa/397644-russia-sanctions-security-free-trade/
Minor Correction:
Black is not one of the two US Senatorss that opposes sanctions.
Black is from the State Government of Virginia and I surmise that he has been able to do things that are sensible, honest and courageous because the CIA/Mossad/British Intelligence mind control operations to compromise and blackmail near 100% of the US Senate and House of Representatives through sex with under age girls, if not pedophilia related “sex-magic” producing reams of dollars into their private accounts (and other forms of “career advancement” ) hasn’t got all of the State Assemblies and Senates by the testicles (or ovaries…….they had no trouble enlisting the venal witch H. Clinton….Diane Feinstein…etc.etc..) quite yet.
Although that does comprise a major portion of their budgets.
You are not dealing with free men and women. We are dealing with fearful, venal slaves.
Here’s another example of the lack of democracy in the EU:
EU To Force Poland, Hungary And Czech Republic To Accept Refugees
If this trend continues (who will stop it ?), those countries will have to adopt the same-sex marriage laws too. I can imagine, these shall be only the beginning of the New Order.
The sanctions-package is to be approved by the senate and then signed by Trump, in order to be fully implemented. Bob Corcker the foreign Committee chief, said : “the main reasons of sanctions against Russia is to keep Europe free and democratic”. The pressure on Trump is big : if he uses his veto, he will give water to those who accused him of being “helped” in power by Russia, meanwhile the sanctions are in opposition with his foreign policy targets of normalizing the US-Russia relations and put enormous pressure on the EU, especially Germany. He will have 30 days to give an answer to the Congress.
This sanctions-package targeted also Iran and N-Korea. The House-speaker Paul Ryan said : ” this is the most wide-reaching sanction-package of history”.
Things will get hot.
I’m curious about what (if any) the Chinese,Russian, and Iranian response will be. Since two top US officials have over the last few days made statements that need a response.First the CIA director says he considers China the main “threat” to the US. And insults Russia and Iran by saying “They have a real economy that they have built, unlike Russia that lives and dies on how many barrels of oil they can pluck out of the ground. And Iran that is similarly very single sector derivative and not to the scale of China population-wise,”.And the US Pacific Fleet Commander says in a speech in Australia that he’d nuke China if Trump ordered him to. Two very unwise statements by two very unwise men.
https://www.rt.com/usa/397679-us-admiral-nuclear-strike-china/
It is amazing and shocking that men like these are the ones who rise to positions of power in the USA.
I don’t think that China will respond to that one. It’s the same from all sides. Their commanders will nuke anyone when commanded by their civilian Chiefs. But only the boorish and uncouth people like the US will spit it out like an inhuman threat. After all the US is the only country which had ever nuked anyone. And they are going to milk that fact for its threat credibility and terror value irregardless of the feelings of its victims – the Japs.
Not is beep from Chinese media. I guess it is common. Chinese by no means can not fight back.
How ever it is the cover of “India Today” garnered attention today.http://indiatoday.intoday.in/story/india-today-magazine-cover-recognised-for-excellence-in-design/1/1011604.html
It has a map of China without Taiwan and Tibet.
Here is the youtube sensationalizing it.

The cover get some good attention in Weibo, and here is one from GT:
India Today draws a pipe dream for New Delhi
http://www.globaltimes.cn/content/1058430.shtml
Usually, there are not much news about India before this stand off. India was a country China thought was harmless even though it maybe a little imperfect, don’t we all?!, Therefor you can explain the bending over backwards inviting them to OBOR. Before this stand off, When Weibo talk about India, it always come in context of peace, cooperation and development. Only once a while, some one in the comments will ask if it is really necessary to insist on Indian get on board OBOR.
However this stand off changed that, and average Chinese now see India as some one not only squatting on our land refuse to leave, but actively trying to take Tibet and more land from us (in fact this is what they has been doing for almost 70 years any way). This picture reinforcing that perception.
India in its present form is a big threat to peace and stability of the neighborhood and China. If Chinese public never gave much thought about what a nasty character Indian was, today, everyone is aware of it now. There are two major places that India holds that Chinese want back: one is South Tibet, the other is Little Tibet Ladakh
I guess China will finish what India started.
Here is one more article regarding this issue from GT:
China border stance firm
http://www.globaltimes.cn/content/1058440.shtml
“‘Blackmail’ behavior
“India’s behavior is like ‘blackmail’ to some extent as it knows China will hold the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, which is a key political event,” Jin Canrong, associate dean of the Department of International Studies at the Renmin University of China, told the Global Times.
He noted that China’s strategic priority is its eastern coast and the Asian-Pacific region rather than the western border areas. So, China’s military presence in the west is less than India’s, Jin said.
India believes China does not want to start a conflict with the outside world, and therefore it believes it can use force to provoke China and win the compromise it wants, Jin said. ”

I believe it is predicted, and I am not sure it will make any difference. Lets see what Chinese response is.
I will post more info when I am free.
Chinese news belatedly reporting Modi’s invitation to the new Mongolia President.
Indian Army holding banner suggest both withdraw.
I do not think Chinese army will withdraw from our own land, and if we do not have war this time, there is going to be one in next a few years. I think the relation with India is same as the situation in Kashmir, it passed point of no return. But we will see.
Supposedly, when India acquired nuke, it wrote to the American president at the time, and said the nuke was not for counter Pakistan, and the content was leaked to media.
Here is MKB’s article:
India-China War of Words Becomes More Critical
https://www.strategic-culture.org/news/2017/07/26/india-china-war-words-becomes-more-critical.html
Yeah, China should have read the signs when India acquired nukes – tested in 1974 and weaponised in 1993. China was hoping that its diplomacy will induct India into the peaceful Asian family. But India, like the Japs beginning in 1853, had been radicalised by the West’s imperialist ideology. Its aggressiveness towards its smaller neighbours and China was inherited from the British Raj. India considered itself to be the heirs to British imperial overlordship or paramountcy in the sub-continent and in Asia.
This is the same mindset radicalised into the Japs’ psyche by the West led by Britain and the United States.
China pacified the Japs in the Korean War in 1595. The Japs’ fleet and logistics were destroyed. Ming Chinese armies surrounded the Japs 250,000 samurais in the Korean Peninsula which were cut off by the destruction of the Japs supply fleets. China could have wiped them out like she could have done with imperial Russians including their very barbaric Cossacks at Nerchinsk in 1689. But China allowed the Japs to withdraw. This pacified the Japs for 258 years until the US aroused their imperial dreams with their example of imperialism through a demonstration of modern naval power in 1853. The Japs later acquired this naval power for themselves and used it without mercy and with a vengeance!
With India, China withdrew and in line with Chinese civilisation treated Indian prisoners humanely. This was interpreted as weakness (e.g. the narrative that China was not able to supply its troops and hold on to its gains). This was a grave mistake. China should at least hold on to Tawang which was very defensible and also Ladakh as she did its Aksai Chin territory. It is likely that the current generation will have to pay a price in blood to rectify this mistake.
China traditionally seems to look at outside barbarians through the prism of its own civilisation – that they think, reason and feel like them and that they will respond if treated in a civilised manner. This is correct when dealing with surrendered KMT Chinese troops during the revolutionary war. But it is a terrible mistake when dealing with outside barbarians with an uncivilised and very violent mindset. It is a mistake that China had paid for in blood, a lot of blood – e.g. Japan (Sino-Japanese war), Russia – loss of Outer Manchuria, Outer Mongolia and the bloody expulsion of Chinese from their enclave north of the Amur against Russian commitments in the Treaty of Aigun 1860 and Britain and US – the Opium Wars of 1840 and 1860 following which following which an estimated 100,000,000 Chinese lost their lives through opium addiction in the following century due to freely imported opium trafficked to the Chinese population. The British Empire was the first narco empire with opium grown in India and routed to China via Singapore.
I have my higher education in the West. As far as their elites are concerned, violence is just skin-deep, and in those days, still muted by their still strong Christian ethos. But those ethos are being discarded as is the Christian religion itself is being discarded. Violent depravity is sprouting in the West. Trump will not be able to stem it.
China should be mindful of this mindset, with it self-glorification and self-aggrandisement which translates into neo-imperialism. This is influencing Indian Hindu nationalists (the same ones which assassinated Mahatma Gandhi – India’s independence hero) which find common ground and inspiration with the West’s depraved neo-imperialism. If not, China is likely to pay a very high price as her recent history indicated.
China should not behave like the Song Dynasty all the while. The Song Dynasty was a scientifically, economically and militarily advanced civilisation. But it is a pacifist dynasty and used its prowess for defence only. In the end, the Mongols, with the help of Chinese compradours, copied its technology and used the same to conquer it – with the loss of millions of lives.
China should now incorporate a bit of Qin and Han in its dealings with modern barbarians. The Qin and the Han suppressed the barbarians and drove them westwards where they appeared as the Huns.
This is not to say that China should adopt a violent foreign policy or even a “muscular” foreign policy like the Hindu neo-imperialists. But China should not allowed its foreign policies based on magnanimity to be misinterpreted as a sign of weakness. To do so will be a mistake which she will be forced to rectify in the future and likely pay the cost of rectification in blood as its history indicated and as the current Donglong standoff with a deluded India portends.
Western Christianity, with it’s un Christian focus on the old testament , is a toxic thing,
Very dangerous to living things. One cant trust this schizophrenic ideology.
India won’t be able to make any headway with Mongolia. Mongolia needs export markets for her coal and iron and other minerals. Only China can buy them. It will be too expensive for India to airfreight them to India or even transport them by way of Russia – Eu and then by sea to India. It cannot sell them to Russia because Russia has the same minerals and more in Siberia.
Mongolia has to come to terms with its relations with China and discard the anti-China propaganda from the West. After all it only became independent through the machinations of Soviet Russia. But Mongolia cannot depend on Russia for its livelihood or even its viability. In Soviet days, it was a basket case depending solely on Soviet Russian support in the form of handouts much like Eastern Europe and Vietnam were. But now, with Russia facing US sanctions, Russia does not has a ruble to spare so to speak.
So it’s only China for Mongolia. All the others are only so much Indian rhetoric and a waste of Mongolian time and resources.
Here’s an example of Trump’s Anglo-Saxon (or is it German since Trump is of German descent) racism : http://en.people.cn/n3/2017/0728/c90000-9248098.html

Let’s pull on our fins and attach that charge to every mind controlled Empire minion and institution and blow their ridiculous imprisoned minds.
The Silk Road Lady puts it thusly:
“We are at a point where we can sink the entire Trump- Russiagate fraud on both sides of the Atlantic, and shift the strategic dynamic from the defensive to the offensive, Helga Zepp-LaRouche asserted today. That offensive means burying Wall Street and the City of London’s murderous speculative system, and bringing the United States and Europe into full cooperation with the China-Russia Belt and Road Initiative.
The explosive revelations which can be used to sink the Russia-gate farce, have been provided in the open memo sent to President Trump by the Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity (VIPS), which reports on professional forensics performed on the so-called “Russian hacking” of DNC computers during the 2016 U.S. Presidential election. Those forensics demonstrate that the operation was not a “hacking” job, but an insider “leak”— i.e, that it could not possibly have been carried out by Russia…………………….”

and ends:
“The British gambit is to make sure that, when the trans- Atlantic system disintegrates—which could be at any moment— there are no stable, functional governments that are open to adopting the necessary policies, especially if pressured sufficiently by their constituencies to do so. That is why the British are destabilizing numerous governments across Europe, and why they are trying to carry out a coup d’etat against the Trump administration in the United States. And that is also why we must ensure that they fail.”

The coming rebirth of a Quality relationship with the physical universe.
I have two friends who have had -one as a child in Northern coastal Spain and another along the redwood coast of California- UFO encounters. Both quietly swear by them. Likewise, I have had a numinous experience with something very joyful and ineffable unlike anything else. What we have been socialized to see and trained how to experience is not the end all and be all.
The quantified relationship with physicality of the scientific method has given humankind great gifts, but at the expense of great imbalances and frankly with the sacrifice of millions to its cruelty. It is time for changes that are more win-win. The future that those billionaires in the technocratic elite show us is grim and demonic indeed–soulessly driven by the chosen few and their robot minions. If Bezos and his Washington com-Post is any indication of these future putative gods of DNA and the electromagnetic spectrum, we are in for a carefully crafted Hell on Earth.
Dostoyevsky, I discovered, had a theory that within 100 to 150 years that out of the Rus ethos/heart would come another paradyme for the world. ( not in just those words) And if you note, in his last book, Bro. Karamzov, he leaves us with a yet undeveloped Christ figure and 12 young Russian boys who have just learned to stand in compassionate witness around a fellow student’s deathbed. The tone of the ending is what a screenwriter might call an opening for a sequel.
One can hope but in the spirit of American pragmatism: Praise G-d, and pass the ammunition. As for me, It is on to an earlier book–The Idiot–by Fyodor Mikhailovitch. And I have to agree with, of all people, Camus who said that Dostoyevsky was the greatest writer of the 19th century
The intertwining of the unseen and physical worlds will become much more evident….if only people can believe what they can discern with eyes that are open and a mind willingly to be open learn and understand and be thankful for all experiences with appropiate attitudes.
Seriously, this man needs to have a food taster and to stay in good physical shape. Things are about to get openly extremely crazy in the USA very soon.

(Please bear with me as this will be my last post for awhile.) Last night I brought up to a friend as we had a few drinks on a hot night the possibility of a coup against Trump—whether she thought it possible. From her stunned expression, I saw that she had no idea what I was talking about so I elaborated–“well, the plotters would have to take some military units, say like the 101 Airborne or some such unit run by a co conspirator and take it to Washington, DC and put Trump under arrest for some bogus charge of treason, along with temporarily shutting down the internet and seizing the phone system–the techies will help them do this.”
“What, like a 3rd world country?” she gasped, horrified. ” Oh no. ”
So in dedication to America’s coming loss of innocence or ,as Paul Craig Roberts would say, insouciance I bring you the following:

So far just with a small count I can say the US seeks war with Iran,Syria,North Korea,Venezuela,Russia,China, and probably Cuba as well. Of course not at one time. They want to “pick them off” one at a time. The smart move would be for them to form an alliance between themselves. And give the US the choice of peace,or a war with a united force, and “let God decide” the victor. But so far I see little to show me they are that smart. And instead see the “picking off” moving along.Few of those states come from Roman based cultures. So they may not understand the meaning behind the Roman fasces,”The symbolism of the fasces suggested strength through unity, a single rod is easily broken, while the bundle is very difficult to break “.

As the rate of minority members carrying out attacks on innocent citizens increase daily in Europe. There is a related story that I think might explain part of that trend. Its been reported that new research shows the sperm count of Western men has reached an all time low (or at least in the time that has been studied). Which combined with the low fertility reported in Western women may help assure the extinction of the native Western population in the future. But as we aren’t sure how long that has been going on. It may account for the weakness in Western males shown by the easy acceptance of thinking, that 2 generations ago would have been rejected out of hand. Two generations ago there would have been demands ,backed up by force that those attacks be stopped. And plenty of males ready to make sure that they were stopped.Even if the governments lacked the will to stop them And that the attackers received retribution. But today, the weak generations we have produced. Are far more likely to be protesting to protect the “rights” of their attackers, instead of their punishment. In case anyone is foolish enough to doubt what I say here. Here are a couple of reports to easily prove my point: They are both from the UK. But I’m sure there are other reports like these I’ve read from Germany and other parts of the EU over the last months.

New outrage from Germany backing up my post. A 26 year old UAE immigrant goes into a Hamburg supermarket and begins to stab Germans with a knife killing one person. Why in God’s name are the Europeans so stupid as to allow this type of thing.

Sadly, yes I know the weak-kneed Europeans of today quite well. No protests or riots over victims of immigrant attacks. But instead protests and riots over claims of police violence against immigrants. It quickly comes to a question ,are today’s European states worthy to even exist as states. The answer isn’t looking like a yes, so far.

Cryptocurrency as the final One World Beast system? Brandon Smith from Alt-Market.com thinks so…
http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-07-27/globalist-one-world-currency-will-look-lot-bitcoin
Numerous libertarians and anarchists collectively orgasm. They join what appears to be a grassroots effort to bring bitcoin and blockchain technology into the mainstream. They stop trading as many of their fed notes for gold and silver as before and buy digital nothings instead. To question the validity of the idea elicits dramatic displays of indignance from the bitcoin cult bordering on zealotry. The “smartest guys in the room” know bitcoin is the solution to everything — don’t you want to be one of those guys, too? Bitcoin is the way, the truth, the life…
Some of us are unconvinced, and even rather suspicious, and with good reason. For example, the advancement of cryptocurrencies into mainstream consciousness has been helped expertly by the corporate media, which frankly, does not make sense if they are a real threat to the central banking monolith. As they say, when the real revolution happens, it will not be televised. Bitcoin is televised everywhere.
Thanks, Rublev (Andrei? :D ) for posting this.
For anybody interested in cryptos, this article is worth a read.
That said, I have a few questions about Smith’s argument.
First, he gives a kind of general sketch of SDR and the IMF’s trial balloon of a one-world currency (let’s call it: NWO-coin). This part of the article seems at least plausible as it draws on a couple of public, albeit wishful, statements about a future global monetary system. However, I think it is worth pointing out here that strictly speaking SDR is not a currency itself but rather a claim to a currency issued by a Central Bank in one of the IMF member-countries (e.g., dollars, euros, yen, etc.0. Basically, then, I gather it is a “basket” of existing fiat currencies. SDR would be a way to provide a “stable” currency by smoothing out disparate exchange rates.
From there, Smith takes a leap to propose that Bitcoin (and, by extension, cyrptocurrencies in general) is/are the fulfillment of the IMF’s SDR as a hoped-for NWO currency. He mixes in a helping of conspiratorial doubt (e.g., who IS Satoshi, anyway?), but doesn’t offer any real analysis of the rather significant differences between SDR and cryptos, or how the IMF and/or BIS would control cryptos in the same way that they could control an SDR (via the CBs).
The second point I question in this article is Smith’s claim that it is precisely the transparency of cryptos (because blockchain is a public ledger) that is appealing to the IMF as a NWO-coin, because they could then potentially surveil (and police) every transaction. There is something to this, but obviously it depends on a future in which NWO-coin is not the dominant world currency, but only a secondary or tertiary currency. I say this, because it is today fairly clear that there is an extraordinary level of fraud being conducted to maintain the status quo (e.g., manipulation of bonds, stocks, PMs, HFTs, etc.) and all of this relies on opaque markets. That is, if these markets were actually transparent, the fraud that sustains the status quo would be readily evident, ergo endangered.
In any case, enjoyed reading this article, and would be curious to hear others’ reactions to it.
Smith is writing here to the so-called “Liberty movement”. Mostly “preppers”, gold bugs and others distrustful of government and taxation. His essay is clearly meant to discourage this group from diverting assets from precious metals to cryptos. This line for example:
“They stop trading as many of their fed notes for gold and silver as before and buy digital nothings instead.”
Mujo above makes the very important point that the current global flow of investment capital is largely geared towards avoiding paying taxes. These flows involve elaborate shell games of false corporations and transactions and falsified jurisdictions. Losing this would be a disaster for the global oligarchs. Nicholas Shaxson’s book “Treasure Islands” is a good reference.
I would also add that crypto currencies are designed to not be inflatable. Central bank issued currencies need not be inflatable but currently are. The ability to inflate central bank currencies allows for the selective inflation of financial asset classes such as stocks and bonds. The result is a system of redistributive wealth from the bottom to the top.
Central bankers would never want a currency that they could not inflate and would allow for transparency in capital flows.
Here is an article that has more information on the actual thoughts of the central bankers:
http://www.voltairenet.org/article159686.html
@ Mujo
Yes, Andrei.. :)
I don’t have the answers, but found another article develo[ping more on the NSA link:
http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-06-12/exposed-real-creator-bitcoin-likely-nsa-one-world-currency
Let’s elaborate on what is ‘control’ as far as the NSA is concerned. Bitcoin is like the prime mover. All future cryptocurrencies, no matter how snazzy or functional – will never have the same original keys as Bitcoin. It created a self-sustained, self-feeding bubble – and all that followed. It enabled law enforcement to collect a host of criminals on a network called “Silk Road” and who knows what other operations that happened behind the scenes. Because of pesky ‘domestic’ laws, the NSA doesn’t control the internet in foreign countries. But by providing a ‘cool’ currency as a tool, they can collect information from around the globe and like Facebook, users provide this information voluntarily. It’s the same strategy they use like putting the listening device in the chips at the manufacturing level, which saves them the trouble of wiretapping, electronic eavesdropping, and other risky methods that can fail or be blocked. It’s impossible to stop a cellphone from listening to you, for example (well not 100%, but you have to physically rewire the device). Bitcoin is the same strategy on a financial level – by using Bitcoin you’re giving up your private transactional information. By itself, it would not identify you per se (as the blockchain is ‘anonymous’ but the transactions are there in the public register, so combined with other information, which the NSA has a LOT OF – they can triangulate their information more precisely.
Money –> Power –> Control is the “ladder” of the psychopaths. The end goal: to convince us that “Control is Freedom”. Heil George, Heil Aldous! :)
For hikers on the improbable vertical slopes of spirit matter, The Third Man Factor, by John Geiger is a good read. It may help to link up the uphill struggle of connecting the unfamiliar to the known.
Too much bad news is not good news. teranam’s report may be Dostoevsky realistic but it’s also depressing. Twice I got through one third of Crime and Punishment but I could not take that kind of punishment. Tera is stronger than I am apparently. “You’re going to make me lonesome when you go.” Dylan.
There’s been talk of ET’s and their connection to Cynthia McKinney and Robert David Steele. I think they are used by statist-satanists-deep to keep fear in us, and thereby garner more funds for themselves. Come on, you want to talk extra-terrestrials? How about God, Jesus, souls, spirits, ancestors, dreams, thoughts and out of the body experiences. Aren’t they all extra-terrestrial, and not directly related to negative gods, spirits, dreams, thoughts and so forth?
Anything can be turned from good to bad and bad to good, according to a person’s choices, karma and habits. I rock and roll between happy and sad, good and bad and to various states of depression day and night. I could call that unfair but would it change anything? Saker is on the road again, apparently unfairly. But, pistol at his side, he’ll most likely get back to Florida in one piece.
I use the consolations of philosophy and theology to keep my boat from capsizing and my emotional body from going down in the flood. In short, I believe in a philosophy of love, theology of love and everythingology of love. Please note that love is the predicate of which everything is predicated. In other words, love is the universal and general while the subject is particular and specific–as in “an oak is a tree,” not the other way around.
At 77, I will soon be an extraterrestrial myself and hopefully “know what only dead men know.” When I get to heaven, I’ll ask Dostoevsky how Crime and Punishment turned out, or I’ll visit a certain terra-name in an ufo spacecraft and ask her. Hey, ho, love is all there is, you know.
Love, Dennis
Trump Confirms He Will Sign Russia Sanctions Bill
“President Donald J. Trump read early drafts of the bill and negotiated regarding critical elements of it. He has now reviewed the final version and, based on its responsiveness to his negotiations, approves the bill and intends to sign it.”
https://www.rt.com/usa/397883-us-airforce-russian-rna-sample-tender/
The US Air Force is looking to acquire samples of ribonucleic acid (RNA) and synovial fluid from Russians, according to a government website used to place tenders. The reason behind the order hasn’t been specified.
The Air Force’s Air Education and Training Command has placed a listing on the Federal Business Opportunities website asking for at least 12 RNA samples from Russian people of a European ancestry, as well as 27 samples of synovial fluid.
Its my firm belief that the Russian MOD needs to announce a collection of samples of US native born DNA. And it should be left ambiguous as to the reason for that. Let the US “stew in their own thoughts” on the reason’s why. But of course it should be for the same exact purpose the US wants samples on Russians. And we all can guess the US purpose. To violate international law and create biological warfare viruses. Russia needs to protect itself by having similar capability. And let the US know that their use of biological weapons would cause themselves to suffer the same fate.Russia needs to understand that this isn’t a game anymore. But its a case of life or death. And no weapon is too horrible to use if your blood enemy plots a similar use on you. Its hideous that the West’s people have allowed human monsters to take power over them. But they have. And now must be the time to destroy those monsters.A sad but true fact of our fate in today’s World.
One wonders if Russian Jews qualify as “Russians” for the purpose of this project.
Reading “The Idiot” as Practice.
Day #1: I reached page 8 where Dostoyevsky is about to expound on the petty official, the “omniscient man”, when my summer reading buddy called to chat and to abandon ship saying that “The Idiot” has “too much suffering” for her. sigh. OK. Another friend asked me warily the other day whether I was going to read “that gulag guy”.
You mean Solzhenitsyen?
” Yeah, Sol-he,,,whatever. ”
I do not think this is Russophobia but rather has to do with how many Americans view suffering, i.e. they want to deny it as part of life . The inability to accept the responsibility for inflicting so much violence on the world–hence the pious outrage at trumped up atrocities of Aleppo versus the silence of the tomb over the horrors of Mosul –is another level of denial. Perhaps it is part of the perpetual lost childhood of the Disneyland complex: That somewhere there is “the happiest place on earth”? Or is it a certain amount of learned helplessness, social withdrawal and infantile posturing before the challenges of adulthood which may or may not include an ideology of social utopia? Hence, the Antifa phenomenon?
Well, Dostoyevsky watched his mother die slowly of TB when he was 15 as she lay in her bed. The door was open so that she could be incorporated into the comings and goings of the family. In Bro Karamazov, the awakening of Russian spirituality is shown to be ( I think) the ability of his classmates to perform the service of compassionate witness at the bedside of a dying school mate .
But what do I know?
You are on to something there. Its seen in how the West is terrified of seeing death among their own people. They won’t allow pictures of their dead soldiers (while having no problem at pictures of enemy dead). They won’t publish pictures of terror victims on their own soil. But allow those pictures freely from victims in other countries. They want a sanitized vision of war ,when they are the causalities. And to show all its horror when others suffer. I believe that is the main reason people in the West lust for war. To their minds they won’t suffer from it. I fear they will need to see that is a mistake for them to change and accept the need for peace.
Uncle Bob, the Anglosaxon press does not show the horror of war, not their own dead, not their enemy dead, because they want war to remain some glorious thing, and no the hellish horror that it really is, because if north americans knew how bad war is, they might protest against it.
@teranam You mentioned Antifa — what’s your reading of them vis-à-vis Dostoyevsky?
