thoughtful article from Ed Popov as usual…Donbass-what is /may happen in view of Volkers visit, Poro calling for UN peacekeepers even though has been serious increase in ukr forces activity with quite a few losses…..etc
Bro 93,
Very interesting video you posted in the last café on Dr P and Alex Jones, I’m going to have to watch it again and I never thought I would say that about an Alex Jones vid.
All this debate has given me another earworm. I had this bookmarked too with glorious visuals, quality sound and……..a genius lyric, but it disappeared too, copyright again. This version will do, 2 out of 3 ain’t bad.

Disabled. Let’s have the lyrics at least.
I’m very lyrical, despite a certain leeriness about some of my fellow Californians, and their lodgings and what they are looking to do within some those Hotel California walls:
“Hotel California”
On a dark desert highway, cool wind in my hair
Warm smell of colitas, rising up through the air
Up ahead in the distance, I saw a shimmering light
My head grew heavy and my sight grew dim
I had to stop for the night
There she stood in the doorway;
I heard the mission bell
And I was thinking to myself,
“This could be Heaven or this could be Hell”
Then she lit up a candle and she showed me the way
There were voices down the corridor,
I thought I heard them say…
Welcome to the Hotel California
Such a lovely place (Such a lovely place)
Such a lovely face
Plenty of room at the Hotel California
Any time of year (Any time of year)
You can find it here
Her mind is Tiffany-twisted, she got the Mercedes bends
She got a lot of pretty, pretty boys she calls friends
How they dance in the courtyard, sweet summer sweat.
Some dance to remember, some dance to forget
So I called up the Captain,
“Please bring me my wine”
He said, “We haven’t had that spirit here since nineteen sixty nine”
And still those voices are calling from far away,
Wake you up in the middle of the night
Just to hear them say…
Welcome to the Hotel California
Such a lovely place (Such a lovely place)
Such a lovely face
They livin’ it up at the Hotel California
What a nice surprise (what a nice surprise)
Bring your alibis
Mirrors on the ceiling,
The pink champagne on ice
And she said “We are all just prisoners here, of our own device”
And in the master’s chambers,
They gathered for the feast
They stab it with their steely knives,
But they just can’t kill the beast
Last thing I remember, I was
Running for the door
I had to find the passage back
To the place I was before
“Relax, ” said the night man,
“We are programmed to receive.
You can check-out any time you like,
But you can never leave! ”
END
Of course the punch line suggests the state is roach-infested:
https://youtu.be/jKhGHxO-woc
The “beast” reference suggests that numerologists best be looking for sixes and nines.
Which don’t “go anywhere” either, just like the “guests”.
But I’m just an apprentice, so I leave it to the pros.
Oasis
Miles Mathis analysis
Stasis struck paralysis,
Tell me the cost basis
Of this “so cool” oasis!
Man searched for miles and miles and miles, but nowhere could he find
The missing link, clear connection, a deep well of lasting peace of mind.
Life’s Abundant Water, The All, The Absolute, by Illusion is….too little of!
As in Sahara, Atacama, Kalahari, Rub-Al Khali of rarest rain: Fickle Love.
However, to break down the song that sprang into Minion’s heart,
In the little time allowed, here ya go, it’s something, at least a start:

Bro 13,
Ah, you are on one side of the pond and I on the other, different rules in different jurisdictions. It works for me here and is a lovely song, worth a listen.
I don’t rate Mathis much, entertaining but just about everybody he looks at is CIA or with vague links to a possible Jewish connection, sometimes both. Not credible, has he ever heard of the seven degrees of Kevin Bacon game? I believe they made a film.
I will read your link though, when I’ve re-watched Alex Jones for his attempted derailments and decided what I think of Dr P
Sorry minion…..my tongue is often firmly planted in cheek.
Truth is I doubt that either Mathis or Dylan or Hotel California are any “keys” to any Universe.
Maybe a few interesting footlockers??
Among which (in the broader genre of “popular” music) are many a Pandora’s Box!!!
As to the song I have enjoyed it but I also suspect it.
It has an ominous feel to it that it does not resolve, IMHO.
Much like Gracie Slick’s “Somebody to Love” debated here a month or two ago.
Aggressively jeering and insulting if you listen carefully. Not hopeful. Not inspiring. Offering no avenue of insight or improvement to the listener.
Neither are well intended as better musical art can be, even while touching on the dark side.
Hi Bro 93 (apologies for the earlier typo)
I like it for the same reason ioan does, because it evokes particular times and emotions and I think that to over-analyse art is useful for academics but not for the joy of the audience.
Your link was interesting, OK with me, given that everybody interprets stuff differently–always, unless they are following some party line.
I am not of the school that demands uplift, hope, inspiration, improvement, necessarily, from art. For me it just has to be meaningful, speak to me in some way. I have some very weird and dark tastes in art and also enjoy obvious fluff. Depends on my mood.
I think art is to be enjoyed, that way it can sometimes inspire etc. but being didactic about it kills something necessary to it. It is essentially ambiguous and has to be. Non-ambiguous art leaves me cold and I ignore it.
Different strokes for different folks and different rhymes for different times.
Minion Art Opinion I mostly share.
Ambiguity Is a key ingredient.
So much so that I bought an old copy of Seven Types of Ambiguity by William Empson ….London….Chatto and Windus… 1930…. in order to try to delve deeper into the secrets of poetry and art.
Not an easy read.
But now it is off my shelf for another go at it!
Cheers!
Thanks for the music of the 70’s, many good things come in my mind way back from my garden of Eden (compared to these days) Here is another link from the same period which may fit here and the actual mood in US compared to that one way back : Ritchie Family – American Generation

The revolution
This is far more exotic than simple left right politics.
Ask yourself why the left is opposed to free speech?
It’s because the left is not the left of classical enlightment.
The new left is the product of Post modern Marxist nihilism.
They believe as a collective western culture is oppressive and must be destroyed.
They believe common law and constitutional democracy are structures of the white patriarchy and must be eradicated.
They believe the culture enshrined in monuments is illegitimate and must be destroyed in violent revolution.
Psychologically, they dismiss rationality as an oppressive construct that can be dismissed in its entirety.
They run on emotions, Muh feelings and that’s why they get unhinged when triggered.
It’s even worse though, the neural circuit that is triggered is the one we evolved to identify and deal with predators. Predators are hated and are killed, like the mother bear reaction.
Get it? See where we are? Understand why the left is acting so mental? The next few years will be interesting to say the least, but the potential for violence and destruction is enormous.
I encourage everyone to look into these matters themselves, it’s new, and it’s very complex, but must be understood in order to defeat. And it must be defeated because they want to totally destroy the west, but being nhilists, have no competing vision, just endless attacks on anyone they feel are predators.
Yes.
When people speak of “left” I ask myself if they are speaking of politics that centers on benefits to the working class, or not.
If not, then the matter is not “left”.
I like the above questioning if so-called left politics benefits the working class or not.
Here’s an interesting item:
“Berlin will not automatically take Washington’s side in case of a military conflict between the United States and North Korea, German Chancellor Angela Merkel said according to Handelsblatt.”
https://sputniknews.com/politics/201708231056720285-germany-us-north-korea-conflict-merkel/
Perhaps Germans will be sensible and wake up – this sounds interesting, from RT:
Germany’s Schulz says he would demand US withdraw nuclear arms
The leader of Germany’s Social Democrats (SPD) pledged to have US nuclear weapons withdrawn from German territory if, against the odds, he defeats Angela Merkel to become chancellor next month.
Poor Martin, saying this he knows what is the reality and surely knew it before, but now, in the running for the upper post in Germany, came out with this “bone” for the people to make a point to vote him. Anyway, his chances to win are minimal. Not mentioning the US occupational forces being still there, instead mentioning the nuclear arsenal of US forces in Germany is viewed as some kind of achievement in some minds. But don’t be confused, he will not play with fire.

Yes,
The ‘left’ has completely changed meaning in the US and morphed into something else over the past 30 years.
A similar thing is happening in the UK and Europe though we are not yet as far advanced on that route as the US. There are some of us remaining who remember when Margaret Thatcher declared:
“There is no such thing as Society”
Described the working miners as “The enemy within.”
And then proceeded to pass laws dismantling workers rights, including right to union representation and criminalising dissent.
The beginning of the end, things have not yet improved any.
(I don’t know what happened there above, my unfinished comment posted itself and appeared immediately. Mods, are you imitating the US Navy now, asleep at the wheel? :) or is it some moron at GCHQ making life difficult for me as I sometimes suspect happens in my more paranoid moments? :0
The so-called “New Left” is actually much more closely related to neo-liberal theory than what was historically referred to as the Left. The traditional Left seeks to eliminate hierarchies of wealth and power. The goal of neoliberalism is to simply promote mobility within hierarchies not to eliminate them. This allows the labor value of talented members of formerly excluded groups to become available to Capital. Moreover, the increase in the size of the pool of available labor suppresses wages generally. However, this mobility works to the detriment of the broader group. Under a segregated system, talented and capable members of a restricted group must apply their talents within that group. This creates wealth within the excluded group benefiting all members.
For example, US baseball became integrated in the 1940s and 1950s. Talented players from the Negro leagues were able to ascend to the formerly restricted major leagues. However, this then resulted in the demise of the Negro leagues with the remaining players losing their jobs. Similarly, the increased competition resulted in marginal White players being unable to compete and excluded.
An excellent comment Jonathan! I like the baseball example. This is playing out in very real terms regarding the labor market in Europe.
Europe has strict labour laws for working hours, conditions, remuneration etc. Just as these laws are now being dismantled, there is mass immigration into Europe. This immigration is presented as being “positive” and “necessary”, by EU politicians, in order to “offset the population decline” of white Europeans.
This immigration will however, simply increase the supply within the the labor pool (in which there is already a lot of automation) and will lower the bargaining power of the domestic European workers for getting better wages.
The EU corporations benefit the most from this “no border” policy, (the major leagues in your baseball example) the working class loses the most. And yet it’s mostly (new) leftists pushing for it…?
In the meantime, Africa is losing their best able-bodied/ able-brained work force.
@SG Thanks. You’ve also raised another important point which I think is worth addressing. That is, the idea that population must constantly grow and a decline is a path to extinction. It might be worthwhile to think a bit about who actually benefits from high population growth.
Governments like large populations since it means larger armies and more taxpayers. It also provides justification for more complex bureaucracy.
Corporations and banks like large populations since it means more customers and a larger and cheaper labor pool and more potential debtors.
Large scale owners of land and other strategic resources like larger populations since this places greater demand on the available resource base and drives up prices of assets they already control.
For everyone else, it’s a disadvantage. The argument that we need more people to support the welfare state is also not valid, in my opinion. What is the point of adding large numbers of immigrant workers who are unskilled and do not speak the local language? And, in any case, even if that argument were valid what happens when those immigrants retire? Throw in another few hundred million? In my lifetime the population of the United States has increased by 50% from 200 to 300 million. They expect to reach 400 million by mid-century. And then what? Perhaps a billion by 2100? I’m sure the situation in Europe is even more severe.
It seems more or less obvious that there cannot be a working class when there is no work. When machines (or slaves, it doesn’t matter) do all production there is no work left to be done…and presto! No working class. No common class interest.
This implies that the left goes…poof!
Of course nobody noticed, so they still say “left”…but like the old CPUSA…the corpse remains animated by money, power, politics and cops… and? We hear stories… (The CPUSA existed mostly on donations paid for by FBI….they say)
The common class interest that might, would, cause the left to return, if there is one, has yet to become evident.
This has long been a matter of some thought for me, cause I roll that way and I see the disintegration daily.

All the big techie corporations have psychologists working in their PR, Human Services etc. and they are the worst advocates of the “cultural revolution”. They are dangerously Id-driven–cross them and they want to obliterate you; contradict them in a social situation they cry, pout and throw temper tantrums.
These are the types that volunteer for dark site waterboarding and then want a pass from their professional organizations. Narcissistic and sadistic. Psychology should be exposed for the pseudo science that it is.
Psychologists often become psychologists because they are concerned that they are mentally ill and want to secretly diagnose themselves.
i laughed out loud at that comment….
it encapsulates an idea that’s been brewing
at the back of my mind for some time.
Like the shoemaker who has bad shoes ?
In my adventurous youth I encountered several pederasts (they spoke freely) who specialized as psychologists (they were) in curing the sons of the wealthy – those whose sexual behavior had upset they parents by homosexual proclivities. These adults were obviously engaged in a sexual exploitation, though with clients, so far as I know, non of them actually did anything physical. They simply “got off” on the stories the boys told. Frankly I expect that perverts of many sorts find occupational gratification that feeds their perversions.

I was reading a recent political analysis (by Canada’s Hebert), in which “dog whistle identity politics” was referenced. To me, that’s the closest I had found to express what Beijing Expat did (as well as the others in the replies!!)
It seems to me that the previously-understood-to-be-natural human process of maturation, or attaining wisdom, is the solution. I’ve casually observed that maturing is now treated as a sign of weakness. And those who value attaining wisdom are shunned and laughed out of positions of power (within the real inner circle, that is) – I guess the ideology IS the wisdom (totalitarian rule) and all that’s required are robotic executors of said ideology. Dangerous times.
@Beijing Expat: The Left by and large has always been a tool to destroy existing society (and therefore pave the way for submission to the tribe), they are fully controlled by the tribe. Even a superficial examination shows that it is totally synthetic with not the slightest coherence beside total nihilism (same as self destruction). Sine 9/11 it is crystal clear that they are just Establishment outfits – as is shown so convincingly in the US or in Germany, all intermixed with gender- and minority- politics and strict thought control through talking point rules. All the result of careful schooling and programming.
Good morning, cafe comrades against empire compradors,
The Gemini Sisters in love have transformed into a mother and child three day cafe wonder. How wonderful to have a resurrection every third day or so. Our sun and moon dies on the first day, is buried on the second and rises on the third, a natural pattern followed by Jesus and Mother Mary, Orthodox to blood and bone.
I was dragged from my warm bed, against my will and inclination, at 3:33 am by the seventh commander of the Love Army, lest I abort the life in my belly.
I walked out to a perfectly still, cool world of 57 degrees. I was immediately struck by the brilliant prominence of the milky way, that sideways disc look. Awesome is too weak a word. I thought of mundanomaniac and what he would think. I didn’t know what to think; I could only feel the vibrations from those stars of infinity.
With bicycle flashlight in hand, from my cycling days, I walked the counter clockwise micro cosmic journey through the secret garden, formerly called the sacred garden of Eden, meaning “pleasure where waters flow.”
The sacred shrine is where I usually start. I hung onto the main plank for dear life, as I leaned back in silent wonder at the starry pageant overhead. The tarot Empress came to mind as the starry crown of the humam form. I walked among the standing stones and dolmens, peace circles and geometric forms until reaching the greenhouse, where I lay beneath the overarching masculine and feminine forms of love on a plank beneath the glass, in the five degree warmer air inside, despite the wide open door.
Then I went outside to lay on the 4 by 8 plywood, painted white altar of sacrifice, to gaze again at the mystery of stardom; after removing the ping-pong net which adult children set up after removing the two foot green goddess vase with the ancient penis neck archetype formerly set as the altar’s centerpiece. Ancient symbols and signs for a world confined.
Then I came in here to discover the new cafe of mother and child. As is my custom, I went first to the last, cafe OK Corral, that is, for proper closure. And what should appear to my wondering eyes, but Bro 93 with the final word, citing Dr. Pieczenik vs. Alex Jones, who I had watched with amazement a few hours before. Synchronicity meets Randomicity.
Bro’s link to Anna Narebko, singing Guiseppe Verdi’s “always free” is not of this world in this world. She is no Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy who, for love betrayed, throws herself onto the tracks of an obor train, to drown out her pain. Oh, the mysteries of life and death. Give me the first Anna and a omor train (one map one road).
I learned that Dostoevsky had epilepsy to add to his suffering. However, his fits were preceded by an aura of revelation so intense that the fits served as a pressure release safety valve. I don’t know about this; perhaps teranam 13 does. Or maybe the other mystics in the making, like Bro with his 93 numbers, mundanomaniac with his 12 # 1 to = 13, or teranam’s lucky 13 womam’s zodiac, or ioan’s analysis cum poetry, or the many others, who must remain nameless, for brevity’s sake, lest names become as numerous as stars.
So who won the Jones vs. Pieczenik debate? I’d wager Trump did, you know, the man in the middle, who plays all sides in the art of the deal, like some Chauncey Gardner by just “being there.”
Chauncey and Donald can’t read or write. They just watch TV, and in Donald’s case, dictate tweets. Donald also likes sweets after midnight. Everyone thinks they own Trump, who just likes to watch. They both live in walled gardens but neither is a gardener.
The neo-Romans are setting up the neo-con Zionists for a fall, like the temple of Zion 2000 years ago, using Trump like they used Titus. Trump is surrounded by the three pillars of the world, the three generals, McMaster, Mattis and Kelly, like Octavian, Mark Anthony and Lepidus of old. History repeats itself. Trump doesn’t know what’s going down; he doesn’t have to.
Anyone with any sense is abandoning the Trump casino-hotel Titanic, even the best analyst of all, Saker. Not me, though. I’m in with Flynn and Trump all the way. I know a winner against all the odds, when I see one, because I see with the Love Army’s telescope and the Love Bower’s microscope.
Even if Donald becomes a live or dead martyr, he wins. He can’t lose. He’s that good at business, and this world is about business as usual. He talks out of both sides of his mouth like Janus of old, because he’s a puppet for both neo Jew Zealots and neo true Romebots.
It’s a toss up for who of the two is going to come out on top; but Trump trumps them either way. He has to go with the generals if he is to survive for a second term, and then all bets are off, as the vets come out of the bushes, like ancient legions from the past.
It’s a dangerous game. “Tis dangerous when the baser nature comes between the pas and fell of incensed points of mighty opposites.” (Hamlet). Trump is the only one who can do it, live or die. He proved it by beating Hillary, and all the odds. Now the same bookies are betting on his fall. Maybe, maybe not. Donald could be a black swan in a white man’s suit.
Donald loves hotels, casinos and golf courses. What does that tell you? He deals with the mafia bosses. What does that tell you. His children and in-laws are Jews. What does that say? His contacts among the lumberjacks are white male wasps. What about that. He, his wife and daughter, dress in black and kiss the Pope’s ring and/or assets. What volumes does that speak?
He rattles the saber and threatens fire and brimstone every third day, just to survive and revive the country if he can make it to a second term; and like his mentor and friend, Vladimir, possibly a third term. Even Vlad said the private person is not the public persona.
So who is Trump? I don’t know, but with all his enemies, he can’t be all bad. Anyway, deep down I like him because I’m like him. Someday, the way things are going, Donald will be the only statue standing, after the Statue of Liberty goes the way of the Alamo.
I don’t know if Donald actually plays cards in those casinos but the cards he’s holding are pretty long in trump, or he would never have made it this far. I think those cards are aces, kings and queens from the old Romans, like Dylan’s “Early Roman Kings.” I could be wrong, and the Zios will finally get their revenge on the goyims. I’m not betting on it but it could happen.
I and my house are betting on the Love Government, Army, Bower, Vineyard and Cafe. “Time will tell who has won and who has fell, and who’s been let behind, when you go your way and I go mine.” “Dream where the umbrella is folded, into the path you are hurled, and the cards are no good that you’re holding, unless they’re from another world.”
The pink dawn is showing her splendorous beauty. The rooster is crowing. And I’m still in the cloud of unknowing. I’ve still not replied to J’s, one minion’s and Bro’s comments from the Two Gemini Sisters Cafe, but I will, later. I was roused out of my bed at 3:33 by the seventh commanders and now it’s nearly 6:33. How time flies when you’re my age of 77, like a receding right side mirror, stating objects are closer than they appear.
Thanks for all. If you know what I’m doing, let me know. Mundo and King Lear’s friend are probably right–I see feelingly, like Gloucester’s “I see feelingly.” Blindly, like Cupid, Venus’s wayward son, I feel my way along the royal road of the heart. “If not for you, Babe, I couldn’t find the door, couldn’t even see the floor; I’d be sad and blue, if not for you.” (Dylan).
Hi Dennis,
Have you ever heard of ‘beginner’s luck’ a common term in casino-land? Its the bait that makes a gambler continue when the house-odds are stacked against him. Though not a gambler I do know casino-land, having worked in casinos all over the world for 30 years.
I wouldn’t bet on Trump for the simple fact that I would never have worked for such a person, despite working for nefarious tough-nuts of all nationalities. I quite like a tough-nut myself, you know where you stand.
What did it for me, re Trump, was knowing that he had bankrupted a string of casinos. In casino-land, which is the original license-to-print-money-business, that can only happen if the person running the place is either supremely stupid or supremely bent (‘crooked’ for US-ians).
Either way, that is a person to rapidly distance yourself from if you’d like to keep breathing with all your personal bits intact.
I have a suspicion that Trump is both. I desperately hope I’m wrong.
Take care,

which may be a possible explanation of why Elon Musk et al have come out against beginning an arms race with unmanned robot weapons which the US and UK governments won’t support at the UN.
I’ve thought that I’ve possibly noticed in the past that Tass.com reveals “dots” that the Kremlin invites observers to connect.
Yesterday was such a day. I admit that I am personally very wary that the tech billionaires will slyly attempt to outright claim the West Coast, up to and including Vancouver, Canada, where I live. I do consider them to be imperialistic, with or without official state support (probably with deep state support, I don’t know). So I reacted to the anti-killer robots letter with that concern in mind.
Then, following the releases on Tass.com, it appeared to me that this was a Zionist-sponsored play, targeted at Russia. (Not Vancouver :-) Why would Netanyahu travel with the Chief of Mossad to Sochi, then return to Israel to meet with Kushner? To deliver a threat to Putin, I think? And what might that threat entail? Something about the use of killer drones, perhaps? A false flag, fingering “despot” Putin for using “weapons of mass destruction”? Or suddenly Al Qaeda uses these nouveau killing tools, that the sincere and civic-minded technocratic elite so conscientiously warned the world about (even in defiance of their own much-despised federal governments?) “Brave billionaires save world from evil”. I can see the headlines.
I am going to imagine that Russian intelligence picked up on this plan, and skilfully timed Netanyahu’s visit for Aug. 23, the day after the electromagnetic gun would be revealed at Army-2017. Now that’s a beautiful thing.
Noticed that a second drone hit the turf – hard – in Turkey, and Sputnik reported being severely attacked by the Lithuanian troll army since Monday.

Or China and Russia have cleverly drawn in the US to a public opinion war where the US cannot make war nor walk away from negotiating its own standdown and eventual withdrawal from the Peninsula.
Think about it.
Are you smarter than the Xi Jinping and Vladimir Putin and their teams of leaders?
The new US sanctions are PR for home consumption. Chest-beating by the Hegemon in front of a mirror.
Both China and Russia are huge nations geographically because over the ages fools invaded them and then were consumed by their victims.
Lessons recently point to the Hegemon being unable to do anything but destroy its own vassals.
If it chooses to destroy South Korea in a war, it will decimate its own economy. And after such a debacle, it will be a pariah in the Asian Pacific.
I think you might want to look at the doll inside the doll inside the doll. Things are not what they seem to be.
Both China and Russia are attuned to martial arts, a form of defense used to defeat a more powerful foe.
The US is attuned to creating chaos. However, its own assets are so much a part of the field of battle (allies, bases, assets, investments, product chains, export partners) that it will be blowing up itself with any more chaos in Asia. The damage will be for decades.
North Korea might be a tempting third world target for the Hegemon.
But the US will first be destroying South Korea and maybe part of Japan when the war starts.
China and Russia are strategic thinkers and actors. The US is without a strategy that fits them.
Thus, sanctions. This is like calling names when you dare not step up and start throwing fists.
It signifies abject weakness. And it is all the US has for China and Russia.
Pathetic.
China and Russia are strategic Capitalists with a similar 0.01% as everywhere else.
“I think you might want to look
at the doll inside the doll inside the doll.
Things are not what they seem to be. ”

Given the Saker response to comments on the Intibah Kadi article I was going to mention that although ‘pixel personas’ and associated software have been around a long time it likely does still require some human input to manage the 10 or 20 personalities and characteristic responses.
Perhaps I am wrong though and robotic character personalities can now be fed the required spin and messaging?
However to simply echo-chamber and drown out a thread with noise and vitriolic insult in the ‘denial-of-service’ sense should be well within present capabilities.
I have personally experienced what Intibah Kadi describes – you can be sure such activities do not relate solely to Syria.
Also there is a definite correlation to phishing emails when posting outside the narrative.
I didn’t see the haters’ comments but it seems the article touched a nerve.
It had zero comments when I first read it so I am in the dark too. I’d like to have seen some just to get a feel for the story behind it all. If you are a genuinely caring and empathetic person then having friends and colleagues turn on you, when the latter are poisoned by divisive and deliberate officialdom/news propaganda, can be quite shocking. I have been there and you feel your world is suddenly upside down. Is humanity just a facade?
You can ignore those who are wilfully proud of their ignorance (never argue with an idiot -they drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience) but those whom you consider intelligent, reasonable, down to earth and thoughtful are another matter.
Having lived in the M.E. for a few years and having visited Syria several times it was very obvious that what I read in the West was dishonest, deceptive rubbish -especially what came out of western governments, including Canada. Same for Ukraine. Especially Ukraine.
@S1
You can see my original comment, below. Two guys with multiple personalities practically shutdown number of discussions. I happened to know one of them. After number of years of staying away I decided to have a look-in and I noticed that things are still dead. How does that grub you for effective trolling.
Two days ago, the German Tv channel 3sat has shown a documentary film. Maybe some of you already know it but for those who want to watch :
http://www.playhd.topcinemas.us/play.php?movie=ttt4462056
The title is “Free Speech – Fear Free” . the irony is, the film isn’t shown freely on youtube only via a link.
I just finished reading Killing of William Browder: Bill Browder’s Dangerous Deception. I also put this comment under the Saker’s article.
I found it a fascinating read. The writer gives a detailed and well documented deconstruction of the lies of Bill Browder in the book Red Notice where Browder instead of a hero turns out to be a vicious liar and an accomplice in the take down of Russia in the 90ties by the Big Banks and oligarges, payed for by the FED and the IMF. How this scheme was well planned and how it was realised was a more than interesting read I have never seen so detailed before.
What was a big surprise and completely unknown to me is the fact that the US and Russia shared a very friendly relationship in the 1900. A very important history completely whipped out in our education system. The civil war was not only about abolishing slavery. The UK with France wanted to interfere in this conflict to weaken and divide the US because they thought the US became to powerful. Russia, Alexander II, had a very good and friendly relationship with the US, knew of this plan and prevented this invasion in 1863. This fact in the book is well documented by newspapers and several well known historians. The Russians were the heroes and cheered by the US citizens on a big parade on Broadway.
How would the people of the world react to the aggressive and demonishing stories about bad Russia and evil Putin, had they known their true history? Stories created by the same Big Bank cabal which are ruining the US at the same time from the inside?
Is that the reason why Putin is so patient with the US, because in the 90ties Russia was attacked by this same Big Bank cabal and knows what the US is going through?
For me this book is an absolute must read.
I cannot place this review on Amazon, because my orders a to low. If any one can or would copy this comment over there I would be grateful.
Third interview with Ronald Bernard, Dutch former banker and whistle blower (english subs):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y0Fwe4YkMa4
Thanks Ingrid, for posting that. I have watched 20-30 minutes of this gentleman before.
I’d help you on Amazon but I am boycotting Jeff Bozos in sympathy with Israel Shamir’s “Bring me the head of Jeff Bezos” campaign.
I have zero problems “believing” Mr Bernard because I happen to know that what he speaks of is corroborated by many very serious people more experienced with evil than even he, and is disregarded out of hand by many orders of magnitude more of others whose motto seems to be a miniaturized version of the idiotic “My Country Right Or Wrong!!”
They reduce this idiocy to something even more pathetically ridiculous and despicable:
“My COMFORT Right or Wrong”
A sibling of mine expressed this sentiment not long ago, in order to duck everything that is discussed in this Vineyard, and more, and used her “comfort” specifically, by name…..(and fear of any disturbance to it…possibly requiring an increased dosage of “meds”….) as a pleading demand to change the subject.
As though THAT were some “Higher Good.” Puleeese!!
It is actually the Food for Evil: Fear
My response; SCREW your “comfort”!
It is that fearful, cowardly, DISGUSTING “comfort” that gives comfort to the Enemy of Humanity!
The rarest part of Love is Courage. Ronald Bernard has had a much closer up look into the abyss of Evil that wanted to tempt him than I ever will ever get a direct glimpse of, in all probability. His stepping back from the Abyss and then speaking required more courage of him than what has been required of me so far, I will give him that!!
But that’s mostly because I saw it (Evil) coming a lot sooner than he did…..because of a certain sensitivity on the inside that he apparently lacked, initially. That’s why I ended up in Alaska instead of Wall Street, while he ended up with a seat on the Stock Exchange, presumably in Amsterdam.
On the outside, I am a lot bigger and rougher and tougher and louder and angrier than Ronald Bernard is. This also can be a manifestation of LOVE, but I agree that his form is possibly more agreeable to many. LOL!
It’s fine that RB is a gentle, loving man now doing much more good than I might possibly aspire to. Because of his slowness in catching onto to the encroachment of evil around him, the courage he had to draw on deep within him is something that I and I suspect most of the rest of us can only imagine.
I trust my instincts: I think he’s the Real Deal. Multiple his transformation by a few orders of magnitude and the Evil NWO Empire goes down the toilet.
He deserves the greatest respect and openness, then comprehension and back up. IMHO.
Help him because he is helping many people come to grips with that which they have been avoiding: The Evil behind The Empire, and their”comfort” and fear which makes that hideous degree of evil he has seen up close and this Vineyard is dealing with in its way, even possible, in the first place.
“It is actually the Food for Evil: Fear”
“comfort to the Enemy of Humanity!”
“because of a certain sensitivity on the inside that he apparently lacked”

Comment to The Saker regarding article on propaganda-cyber war article.
I do not mean to beat on the dead horse, but my experience from a social-thing in eastern europe (country is not important) is identical to what Mrs. Kadi said in her article.
I can appreciate you getting upset, but you just got the taste of what she was writing about.
I don’t mean to beat on the dead horse either, but I’d like to say that in China (in Hong Kong, to be exact) the colour revolutionaries use pretty much the same strategies that Mrs Kadi describes in her article.
An interesting site and writer, also a QC….whose writings may, I expect, be both new to most and interesting as well. Thoughtful man. http://adeyinkamakinde.blogspot.com/
Very interesting site, with a great post about Fela among other items, thank you!
In solidarity with Ingrid and Ronald Bernard and the Mother and Child Cafe, I summon the Love Army Battalion of Classical Art.
Neither I nor Dennis nor any person can command it in anyone else but his or her Self. It’s only Commander is The Individual Human Heart.
Which either hears a Higher Spirit…..or does not!
However, I can at least point out a genius flanking maneuver perfected into artistic form by Robert Schumann.
Das Paradies und die Peri
Paradise and the Peri Peri = a female angel in Persian lore.
https://youtu.be/2zV7lMykY-A Full Concert, Frankfurt Radio Symphony
Now, this gets sufficiently dark, to fit into Ronald Bernard’s Battle Plan Against Evil quite powerfully, IMHO, as this is it, in a nutshell:
“The Peri, as a fallen angel seeking entry back into heaven, must perform a good deed, which she does by saving a boy from a pederast.”
Who happens to be a most sinful “Christian” knight returning from the Crusades, Ramin. (I think you’re gonna like it!)
http://www.hyperion-records.co.uk/dc.asp?dc=D_LSO0782
Essay of explanation, from which I pull a few short excerpts:
“A Peri—a kind of angelic female spirit—is expelled from Paradise for some unspecified sin. Unlike the Christian Satan, however, she is told that she can re-enter Heaven if she can bring back an example of that which is dearest to God.”…….
“The Peri’s first two offerings to Heaven are a drop of blood from a hero killed in battle and the last sigh of a girl who refused to leave her fatally plague-stricken lover. Good—but not good enough. ”
So the Peri finally gets this idea, found in the English translation of the German lyrics in the above link, to find a real sinner:
Peri: “Perhaps they will decode for me
Where on earth or in the sea
Lies the magic power, the noble boon
That will open Eden soon
To sinners. Let my eye read it:
I will go down!”
Narrator: “Cheer’d by this hope she bends her thither;—
Still laughs the radiant eye of Heaven,
Nor have the golden bowers of Even
In the rich west begun to wither;—
When, o’er the vale of Balbec winging
Slowly, she sees a child at play,
Among the rosy wild flowers singing,
As rosy and as wild as they;
And near the boy, who tir’d with play
Now nestling ’mid the roses lay.
She saw a wearied man dismount
From his hot steed and on the brink
Of a small imaret’s rustic fount
Impatient fling him down to drink.
Then swift his haggard brow he turn’d
To the fair child who fearless sat,
Tho’ never yet hath day-beam burn’d
Upon a brow more fierce than that,—
Sullenly fierce—a mixture dire
Like thunderclouds, of gloom and fire;
In which the [Peri’s] eye could read
Dark tales of many a ruthless deed;
The ruin’d maid—the shrine profan’d—
Oaths broken—and the threshold stain’d
With blood of guests!—there written, all.”
Alto solo: “But, hark! the vesper call to prayer,
As slow the orb of daylight sets,
Is rising sweetly on the air
From Syria’s thousand minarets!
The boy has started from the bed
Of flowers, where he had laid his head.
And down upon the fragrant sod
Kneels […] lisping the eternal name of God
From Purity’s own cherub mouth,
And looking, while his hands and eyes
Are lifted to the glowing skies,
Like a stray babe of Paradise
Lost upon the earthly plain
And seeking for his home again.”
Narrator: “And how felt he, the wretched Man,
Reclining there—while memory ran
O’er many a year of guilt and strife,
Flew o’er the dark flood of his life,
Nor found one sunny resting-place,
Nor brought him back one branch of grace.”
The Man: “There was a time, [he said, in mild heart-humbled tones]—
thou blessed child!
When young and haply pure as thou
I look’d and pray’d like thee—but now!—”
Vocal Quartet and Chorus:
“Blest tears of soul-felt penitence!
In whose benign, redeeming flow
Is felt the first, the only sense
Of guiltless joy that guilt can know.”
The Peri:
“There’s a drop […] that down from the moon
Falls thro’ the withering airs of June
Upon Egypt’s land, of so healing a power,
So balmy a virtue, that ev’n in the hour
That drop descends contagion dies
And health reanimates earth and skies!—
Oh, is it not thus, thou man of sin,
The precious tears of repentance fall?
Tho’ foul thy fiery plagues within
One heavenly drop hath dispell’d them all!”
Narrator with Chorus: “And now—behold him kneeling there
By the child’s side, in humble prayer,
While the same sunbeam shines upon
The guilty and the guiltless one.
And hymns of joy proclaim thro’ Heaven
The triumph of a soul forgiven!
’Twas when the golden orb had set,
While on their knees they linger’d yet,
There fell a light more lovely far
Than ever came from sun or star,
Upon the tear. […]
And hymns of joy proclaim thro’ Heaven
The triumph of a Soul Forgiven!
To mortal eye this light might seem
A northern flash or meteor beam—
But well th’ enraptur’d Peri knew
’Twas a bright smile the Angel threw
From Heaven’s gate to hail that tear
Her harbinger of glory near!”
“Finally the Peri gets it right: she brings the tear of a sinner shamed into repentance by the sight of a child at prayer.
(and seeing in that child that he could easily rape and kill, his own prior innocent self, before many decades and countless crimes subsequently ensued……and with Death not far away….his soul finally produces the precious tear, which rolls down his leathered, bearded face…to be seen as precious, and scooped up!!..by the Peri…….Bro 93 editorial comment…)
Heaven’s gates open and the Peri, having learned an important lesson, is re-admitted to Paradise.”
I just watched Ingrid’s link to the Dutch banker video, powerful stuff and yes, he shows tremendous personal courage.
I’d watched the previous two vids and will look out for the fourth.
Well worth the time to watch, Thanks.
Thanks to Bro 93 also, for a lovely story set to music. I’ve bookmarked ‘Lallah Rookh’ for later reading to see if the whole lives up to the part–the Irish have always been noted for ‘the gift of the gab’ so I’m hopeful.

China Affirms Alliance with Pakistan After Trump Says Islamabad Abets Terrorists
https://sputniknews.com/asia/201708251056768956-china-pakistan-alliance-trump-accusations/
“China’s top diplomat told his American counterpart that the United States must respect Pakistani sovereignty and security concerns as they pertain to Afghanistan or else endanger “peace and stability,” reports Chinese state media.
China and Pakistan consider one another “all-weather friends” and have established a very strong economic, diplomatic, and military partnership over the last few decades. China has spent $62 billion since 2015 to modernize Pakistani infrastructure as part of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) initiative, an aspect of its global One Belt, One Road project. Pakistan celebrated the initiative by issuing a new coin adorned with the Pakistani and Chinese flags to commemorate their friendship.
A 2016 Pew Research Group survey of Pakistani public opinion found that 84 percent of respondents had a favorable few of China, compared to 16 percent who had a favorable view of the United States.”
This vineyard strikes me as the proverbial “canary in the coal mine,” but also the controversial protective savior with the life line.
There’s talk now of minorities, of which Saker is one. I’m another. Sometimes I feel like I’m alone as far as thoughts and feelings go. This vineyard is as good as it gets, but even here I’m a stranger in a strange land.
I went to bed at 8:30 and woke up at 12:30. Oh no, I thought. I need more sleep. But no, a love army commander demanded that I get up. So much for my resolutions to stop this uncontrollable addiction. I suppose I could “kick against the goad” like Paul, the Small, but at what cost?
So I got up, slow as a snail, or as schoolboy with satchel to school. When I went to bed, I saw the crescent moon before she slipped into the western sea. It’s always a sweet feeling but my dreams were not so sweet.
The night was cool and still. The stars overhead became my new found bed. Like two nights ago, the milky way was awesome. Tonight I noticed the little dipper with her tail pointing to the North Star. I made my way among the sacred art forms, trying more to listen than run my mind.
I heard that I have been chosen along with this vineyard, as I assume everyone else is too. We have a mission which we can commission or dishonor with omission.
I think the astrologers are more in touch with the stars than the astronomers, although the language of astrology is Greek to me. Yet, the fact is that there are persons behind the star gates and gazers, imo. I call them lovers, as does the Love Army.
The peaceful stars belie the violence of colliding galaxies and exploding stars. I saw the brilliant flash of a shooting star, “and I thought of you.” What am I getting at? The violence in nature herself. Love goes where angels fear to tread, and even God, by definition, cannot go.
Love necessitates freedom, which seems endemic in the warp and weave of reality. The freedom to sin, and that very malevolently, as attested to by Ingrid’s link to Ronald Bernard, with his devastating exposure to child molestation and murder, organ trafficking and rituals that would make the Devil shirk and hold back.
Not so with humans gone wrong, it seems. Their propensity for evil has no bottom. If it were not for the Anna Netrebko’s and Robert Schumann’s with their Das Paradies un die Peri’s, to cite a couple of links given by watchtower cafe’rs, we would be irretrievably lost.
All the dreams of the world, todos os sonhos do mundo, has 0 comments when I checked in but is already up on Google through the Saker site. See how the Saker is a rising star, a fire bird phoenix arising from the pits of despair, to repair a world gone wrong.
Back to astrological language, which draws circles around my head. I perked up with mundanomaniac’s rendition of Sagittarius, of whom I am one: “the great circle in which each has its place which the Sagittarius knows by riding around in a profound spin each year a whole round with one of the 12. Sagittarius converts meaning into time.”
I don’t know what I’m doing in my riding and writing around, which is probably good because if I did, I might screw things up royally. As it is, I feel alternately embarrassed and pleased with what I say and do. Right on the edge of method and madness. Right in the corner of cafe sadness and gladness.
Our language confines and refines us. “In the beginning was the Word…” Beyond the beginning was the Wordless…” The Love Army and Bower speak a new language, which in the words of Bottom the Weaver, “eye has not heard, nor ear has seen,” or Dylan’s Mixed Up Confusion’s where “I’m looking for a woman whose head’s mixed up like mine.”
The comfort is that order comes out of chaos, as well as the reverse. We come in with a nurse and leave in a hearse. Underneath it all is love, in the lover’s verse and the luster’s curse. Just when this world goes from bad to worse, this cafe spreads out a main course, a smorgasbord cornucopia of delights and frights, awesome sights and ferocious fights.
A rorschach litmus test “in the lonely night in the blinking stardust of a pale blue light, you’re coming to me in black and white when we were made of dreams…on the rising curve where the ways of nature will test every nerve, you don’t get anything you don’t deserve when we were born in time.” (Dylan).
I need to clean up my room and my mind, by going back three days. J asked if Dennis is Indian, and not a white man, hating obor, China and meaty love. No, no, no–I love everyone and everything, a la Jesus and the first commander of the love army. What they do might be a different matter; it all depends on which side of the bed you get up on.
one minion asked where I draw the line on meat. I draw the line where our lover ancestors did–if the animals has eyes like us and/or red blood like us, it is a mortal sin to kill and eat them, per Moses’ “Do not kill” commandment.
And Bro 93, with the 93 windows of his mind and who knows of his soul. Allow me to quote what I wrote in my notes from the underworld which I fear will will be one large misquote: “OBOR becomes in the Leery Leary Land ‘Chinese Economic Expansion’ as though that were some lawless evil rather than a long delayed improvement in per capita well being and capacity lessening its grip between Dennis and the average person in China…where’s real effective ‘love’ for them coming from? China or Dennis???…If not for China, Russia might have been devoured…stop being a slave to British overlords…gross errors of strategic judgment…I patiently bother…that’s brotherly love!…the Learian ego [dented]…love rings hollow when…realities are stubbornly repeated over and over and over. can’t make gross errors of strategic judgment and be… competent ‘Commander of anything, even a Love Army…capacity to love humanity.”
Let Bro stand for Shallow and I for Sir John:
“Now, Master Shallow, you’ll complain of me to the king?
Knight, you have beaten my men, killed my deer, and broke open my lodge.
But not kissed your keeper’s daughter.
Tut, a pin! This shall be answered.
I will answer it straight; I have done all this. That is now answered.”
Now, to one minion. Yes, I had forgotten about Trump’s supposed string of bankrupt casinos. If you spent thirty years in them, you should know. Still, my argument is that the Love Army uses weak men like Trump, and myself, to asymmetrically answer our desires. The ones who think themselves knowledgeable usually screw things up worse than Trump or Dennis could.
I think I have now more or less brought my notes up to date, which will be outdated by the time I post this. Hell, I’m outdated; way past my shelf life. Who but a dated curmudgeon would get up “a little past midnight,” take a walk under the stars, lay down on a facsimile alter ego of sacrifice, and embarrass himself worse than the emperor without any clothes.
“I’m searching for phrases
To sing your praises
I need to tell someone
It’s soon after midnight
And my day has just begun
They chirp and they chatter
What does it matter?
They lie and dine in their blood
It’s now or never
More than ever
When I met you I didn’t think you’d do
It’s soon after midnight
And I don’t want nobody but you”
In the Love Calendar, we’ve just entered the sixth line or ray of seven, called Light. Here’s a 21 line poem that starts off the seven week dance of the color spectrum, a sort of salve for the wounds that love, or the lack thereof, inflicts on a suffering humanity.
——————-
Light
A crystal rainbow tower
Stands tall for all to see
Scattering light like mist
From an overflowing fountain
Fulfilling an ancient covenant
Of everlasting beauty
Written from earth to sky
A cathedral of inner vision
It floods the countryside
With sparkling gifts
For flowers and trees alike
I stand in wonder
That I passed this way before
And missed its radiant presents
I unfold my petals
And make myself a vine
To climb this cathedral
Through the glowing hues
I scale the joyful frequencies
Winding my way inward
Toward the source of light

‘one minion asked where I draw the line on meat.’
If you look back at the text Dennis, you will see that particular post was not addressed to you.
It isn’t always all about you, sorry to disappoint you.
I was going to post you a well-known Carly Simon song but will refrain as you would likely take bitter offence, and I have, as yet, no wish to offend you.
Thanks for the correction. As for taking bitter offense, that’s not one of my deficiencies, as far as I can see. In psychoanalytic terms, who knows what goes on the depths of ourselves? It’s a strange world down there.
USA continues disconnecting Russian banks from SWIFT
25.08.2017 | Source: Pravda.Ru
—–
Two Russian banks will be disconnected from international SWIFT payment system. The sanctions have been imposed on the Russian National Commercial Bank (RNCB) and Tempbank.
The access to the software will be restricted for the above-mentioned banks from August 31. At the same time, the Russian credit institutions were offered to switch to another interface to access SWIFT for an extra fee.
Owing to unified standards and wide coverage, SWIFT allows banks and companies to exchange financial messages around the world. There are other ways for settlements within Russia, but there are no alternatives to SWIFT for international transactions, experts say.
It is worth noting that the RNCB is the core bank of the Crimea that uses the settlement system of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.
Tempbank has been sanctioned because of its cooperation with Syria and Iran. As soon as international sanctions from Iran were withdrawn, Tempbank opened correspondent accounts with the Iranian central bank and a number of major banks in the country. Immediately after this, Mikhail Gagloyev, the chairman of the board of Tempbank, received a warning from the Unity Against the Nuclear Program of Iran (UANI) about the inadmissibility of cooperation with Iran and Syria.
Many Russian experts believe that the Russian financial system will be able to successfully overcome possible disconnection from SWIFT owing to the new Russian payment system SPFS created within the BRICS. Over 300 Russian banks have already switched to the new system.

Dostoyevsky alert: Spoiler alert for The Idiot.
My friend’s husband is reading Crime and Punishment out loud. The family has no TV so they read to each other or play games at night. Such secular scholars!!! She had Myshkin down as this super spiritual guy above nationalism so I had to send her to his pre seizure nationalistic ecstasy speech. Thanks to many of people’s postings here I was able to explain it a bit–Aglaia’s fate is to become so willfully ungrounded that she is converted by a neer-do-well Polish husband’s priestly cronies–a fate worse than death in 19th century terms.
Myshkin was an Idiot with a touch of King Lear in a ship of fools. And as in King Lear there was more than one fool. We decided that Myshkin was incapable of cruelty and, indeed, of making the either/or choices necessary to life in the realm of polarity.
P. 531 Yevgeny Pavlovich tries to sum it up psychologically (in Joseph Frank edition of the Idiot.)
It is just that in Myshkin’s mind Nastasya needed him more So even though he had accompanied Aglaia to meet with her and, although under social conventions was obligated to return her safely back to her home, he abandons a spoiled, naive girl in order to try to help an insane ( he knew this) woman bent on self destruction. In the process he is himself laid low. He ends up back in the womb of a Swiss clinic–so much for his hopeful foray into Russian society.
There is not much redemption in this book and the only amusing person is Lebedev who becomes irritatingly predictable after awhile. He references Gogol twice in the book and does a couple of paragraphs like Gogol where he as the author addresses the reader. Thankfully,He drops that coy artifice in Bro Karamazov.
Shades of 19th C Gothic horrors of crazy women in attics burning down castles–Dostoyevsky has Myshkin locked in a room overnight with a crazed killer and the corpse of his victim!!!! Myshkin’s friends break down the door to find him comforting the thrashing man and a bit far gone himself.
“My friend’s husband is reading Crime and Punishment out loud. The family has no TV so they read to each other or play games at night.”
oh tera nam 13
this is what I sense, the real new emerges out of families, in which, one could say, the karma is balanced between the sexes and between heaven and hell
yesterday evening I met an old Pisces – friend, long-time- bath-keeper of Murnau Polular Beach at Staffelsee
incredible interpret of “Cassidy” and a whole bunch of Dead’s songs pure and beautifull interpreted by one of our great as discipined adicted guitar-players with intern sensivity of Skorpio and Pisces and he who had died two days ago of a nasty cancer in the gut, … and I stepped into Beer-Garden underneath our little Castle and Williams, first of the great Murnau Guitars Father of the Oberland Blues with Murnau with Groover and Harry.
Now Williams ended his set, I stepped into roundin the Garden from right around to the left came from outside and hugged his nonmaried widow Paula who sat right front of the band with 2 ‘Geli and Tatjana old women-friends in the fifteeth in a thing with 3 chairs, … long smiles short nice words and I dropped
further at “my” place which I recognized when I saw it. Crossing the way with Williams who opened the speakers to a take of Harry’s “Blue Riders” which name isn’t a gag but a truth (google: ‘ das blaue land’)
of which Blue Riders ‘father’ Williams was the other Guitar in their short life
so at ‘my’ place without any beer I listed to Harry and – this can’t be real – Harry really in this moment sang “Cassidy ” and he is the only one knowing that in those days I had asked Harry after first listeing to what an incredible beautifull song this was …well I like this synchronicity with the dead and I hold it is shrined in weight of th 12 pictures in the soul like in sound – cages with open doors in which the souls of the dead and still unborne are living to be assembled by us actual- in- time- beings in our rallys feeded by folks attending the genius of music in our civilisations
and above the enchated touch with Harry’s singing and playing were the red roofs of Murnau and was a desertlight apricot evening sky spotted by a standig swish of pinkgray feathers
And to that place I was called, I resumed later, what- or whoever it was, had called me for an odd kind of half hour walking across the tourist-zone into the quiet other side of the market and suddenly I heard it … not only some Guitar -player but a real capable horse in his soundcheck … moments later I got the message by a poster: tonight Williams playing in the Castle-Garden.
So after preparing and having Toast Hawai with my old sweet on the terrasse, I appeared at the end of mybe the second set … of Williams and so on like I told.
And if I talk of family I’m talking of natural and adopted one.

may the circle be unbroken, Mundanomaniac—even if at times it is a spiral.
(First, thoughts to any Sakerites who are affected by Hurricane Harvey. Hope you and your loved ones are tucked away safely somewhere until the storm passes.)
I was just reading an article on a Canadian news website about the NRA, and it’s “shot across the bow” towards the elites of the USA, which was delivered through a series of videos on NRATV. #counterresistance #clenchedfistoftruth
What I find so frustrating is that in this article, various experts are quoted, saying the NRA is reflecting the angry rhetoric of Trump towards the media, concerned about a dip in gun sales, etc. etc. Last I heard, George Soros was not funding the NRA. Nor the State Department, USAID, or any “freedom and democracy” NGO. So this might be *actual* armed counter resistance to a target group of elites. It would be nice if one of the gun lobby experts actually considered the concerns that the NRA is raising. Labeling it “hate speech” does not make the counter resistance go away when it’s not funded by Soros (the same applies to “neo-nazis”, “white supremacists”, and “terrorists”).
What is going on here? Is this real? Is there anyone in that country who could mediate? Ron Paul? Pat Buchanan? Rohrabacher? Does actual violence really have to break out?? I’m sure Canada or Mexico would be happy to provide a location for talks (there’s an equivalent to Astana somewhere on this continent!!)
And while I’m venting … :-) If “we” (meaning North Americans) agree to stop pretending that nothing is happening (and if the NRA has decided to stop pretending, maybe the rest of us should to), would it really be that impossible to deal with the problem directly? The three countries are negotiating NAFTA right now, anyway. I’m sure the militaries could collectively ensure the safety of the continent while this tiny issue of elites feuding in a battle to the death is ironed out.
Waiting until the streets are filled with NRA, Oathkeepers, patriot militias, Antifa members, gang members, “NeverTrump”ers, Rainbow Warriors, and God only knows who else, seems like the lesser option.
Trump won’t call the military on the American people. That’s my opinion. So this is a gruesome stalemate. Let’s take a “timeout”, as a continent, and introspect. The high road can still be traversed – but not for much longer. God bless (North) America.
And while the North Americans “take a moment”, the Latin and South Americans dance in the streets. (No offense intended, Mexico, ‘wish you were here’) It’s a party – Cuba’s hosting.
This should say “the Central and South Americans dance in the streets”. Apologies for my mistake!
“Oh, Mother!” Cafe
I feel inspired to write some…..family…… verse…..there are some beautiful children (ideas) coming into the cool night air here. The midwives are mostly male, but not the Mother of them All. With a Mona Lisa smile, She knows What It’s All About
I was going to say “Oh Brother!” intially, to honor the lyrical outpourings, “births”, from Mundo, Dennis, The Ioanian Urn ( a play on Ode on a Grecian Urn, our Roumanian Rabelais………….by John Keats…..look it up—-no don’t….I’ll do it for you…..ioan is doing very heavy lifting family duty these days….so I’ll do a little light internet sifting:
https://www.poetryfoundation.org/poems/44477/ode-on-a-grecian-urn ….to help a brother out….)
but even a flashing glimpse of my own ugly mug in the mirror sends me quickly into the adjoining room:
The Family Room, where Doestoyevski is read in turns, and Teranam 13 goes so deep into the collective psyche that it burns.
“Beauty is truth, truth beauty,—that is all
Ye know on earth, and all ye need to know.”
“all ye need to know”
as we are going to learn about the beauty inside, – reading
from and to each other
to feel it and to open it,- the beauty of man in the other’s chance
of balance while God and the gods love and remember it …
