Who to believe? The Babchenko hoax is giving the Steele dossier and the Skripal affair a run for its money.
A Ukrainian court has remanded a businessman in custody on suspicion of plotting the murder of a Russian dissident journalist.
https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-44325903
Russia’s Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday that the staging of the death of Russian journalist Arkady Babchenko in Ukraine is an anti-Russian provocation.
Some very valid points here -read past the pictures:
“By next month Luke Harding would have had a new book out called something like “Death in Broad Daylight: how the Kremlin silenced Arkady Babchenko.” Its cover would feature Babchenko’s completely fake murder pic with a target superimposed and a semi-opaque red halftone background of Putin’s face. It would be on the NYT bestseller list for the next two years and make Luke another little fortune.”

Bro … I am observing what is going on, how can anyone not ! When Natalya Kaspersky gave information at the IT University in Saint Petersburg, Russia she was gifting a warning, not her opinion, not a superficial claim, but a fact … facts that are part and parcel of what Kaspersky Labs are about in their specialised professional work. So, the information Kaspersky carefully issued becomes “the premise” on which a critical thinker will begin to put together a jigsaw puzzle while considering everything connected until the puzzle can be guessed at and completed. This is what detectives do, starting with motive. The elites in government/shadow government can shift their digital fiat anonymously to central bank locations, to transact ‘evil things’, but we people are under constant heavy surveillance via our computers, phones and smart devices. There is a picture on the final piece of jigsaw showing me a cashless society where every transaction made by the people is recorded. Now, your premise is, this digital fiat is good and will ushure in a corrupt-free money transfer system, though taxation will persist no doubt. I wish I had your optimism. Cheers.
No Pavel, my premises are:
1) This blockchain thing and its first application (Bitcoin for short…cryptocurrency more generally) cannot be uninvented, , therefore, we are going to have to “deal with it” in one way or another. I’d prefer to deal with it potently rather than impotently expressing my “distaste” for it,as my Irish Pub drinking partners do, crying in their beer., pining for Auld Lang Syne…..
2) Part of that process is education. What is it? One starts with a sampling of the work of those that have a head start on it over you and I. And here we have our very own Amarynth. So if I were you I would ask her, in addition to Ms Kaspersky. Because you might get a personal reply. While you wait for it you might consider that Saker got retrained in IT, would have a better bead on all this than you or I…….and if he th, electricity earlierought she or BTC or crypto in general were a NWO Plot……do you imagine he would just watch the plot unfold….and do nothing??
3) Ditto Vladimir Putin. Is it an accident that Russian BLockchain developers are said to be the best in the world?? There’s always more to these things than our initial personal “distaste” for something new. Such reflexes are one of the most common sources of errors of judgment. That does not mean, “Throw all Caution to the Wind! Full Speed Ahead!” It means: FIND OUT!!
4) Like I said in the very beginning, this area is an intriguing new flank. Currently OBOR seems much more strategically relevant and immediately significant. But the importance of this crypto-flank and Evolution in Money is taking on ever increasing significance………..We Are in Early Days…… I will wager that right now (2017 then) it is ALL Up for Grabs. Like Fire a couple million years ago, the atom in 1920 or electricity a few decades earlier.
The ultimate effect depends on the aggregate consciousness employing that new tech…or ANY new tech…over considerable time. It is off to a promising start……it could go sour..and be slavery…………or end up as a magnificent boon to human freedom. Dive in and affect the outcome for the good if you can…or stay on the sidelines, be a complete non-factor …….. and allow the Powers That Shouldn’t Be determine the outcome.
It seems to me THOSE are the two choices.
… Bro could sell ice to Eskimos ; {} (LOL)
Why not call something what it really is … digital fiat, and start applying “Occam’s Razor to cut through the Gordian Knot of sophistry and sophomoric pretense”. Think for yourself too, no need to use “famous people” for leverage … I am aware of many such Americanised “entertaining” tricks and I suspect you know it all.
From what I have read about Natalya Kaspersky’s presentation, she had some PowerPoint slides that included some claims about Bitcoin. A claim may be interesting, provocative, etc. but a claim is not a fact.
I agree that the information being offered invites critical thinking and that there are many points to consider here. I agree that we should reflect seriously on Kaspersky’s claims. But we have not been offered facts, nor will we convince any other critical thinkers that claims are facts.
“It’s a fact, because, a highly-specialized, highly-intelligent professional said so, and they know things that you don’t” — need we recall how much propaganda is today being based upon this type of claim?
… when a person uses a microscope to see what is normally invisible, does that person make a claim to what is seen, or issues a statement to what is seen … and now you want evidence … how about the retaliations which followed. There are times when the only practical and available tools toward explanation are extrapolation, logical deduction and circumstantial evidence … and creating a premise as a starting point and guide. You draw a sketch of a wheel with spokes … at the central hub is your premise and the spokes are labelled along the way of investigation in support of your premise. I wish you well with your choice of premise and hope you obtain a clear and consistent picture of reality … or one that suits you.
Evidence, yes. How else can we persuade others of our claims?
I certainly agree that “There are times when the only practical and available tools toward explanation are extrapolation, logical deduction and circumstantial evidence … and creating a premise as a starting point and guide.”
Sometimes we don’t have “hard” evidence, and this is clearly one of those times. But in lieu of that, it helps if we are clear that we are extrapolating, inferring, etc. don’t you think?
I’m not sure which retaliations you’re referring to. I guess(?) you mean people have attacked Kaspersky for making these claims about Bitcoin. I don’t know.
As a rule, though, I don’t see that retaliations against a claim make it any more true. E.g., there are lots of people on the Internet trying to say the Earth is flat, and the sheer number of people mocking them and retaliating against their claims doesn’t mean the Earth is indeed flat.
Here’s how we know…https://www.scribd.com/document/236132149/On-Scientific-Method-by-Robert-Pirsig
Search term “scientific method”
In conversational tale Art of Motorcycle Maintenance Pirsig gives a natural description
Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance. I read it when it came out. I rode for 40 years until Father’s day 16′ when a young man distracted by his phone pulled out in front of me. 13 fractures and much titanium plus crippled hands ended my pleasant two wheel journeys (No Harleys!) But, I digress.
What I learned from the book was that there were two kinds of people. Those who have someone else work on their cycle and those who won’t let anyone touch it but themselves. That’s how I view ways to store and use “capital”. I like gold. Someone will have their work cut out to get mine. An anonymous ner do well with computing power can steal my “crypto” capital if I trust that it is safe “out there”. I’ll pass on “crypto”. Reminds me of 3 card monty. I lost my last $20 that way when I was 17 in 64′. It was a good lesson.
Hello Dennis. Hope Wisconsin is treating you well. It should.
@ irrelevant
Thanks for the pointer. Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance is one of those important books that overwhelm my reading list. Alas, Scribd wants credit card information for a “free” download, and I’m not too keen on that. :p

It’s not exactly the same document, but maybe(?) the essentials are there.
Mujo, let’s put this question in another angle : what gains Kasperski with such “allegations” against the Bitcoin ?
What does it cost them to be wrong? is also as important as cui bono
Their work is more or less 100% confidential – thus a reputation for probity is essential part of business structure, no? Why did the US kick them out? (they couldn’t be bribed maybe?)
Cui bono assumes wrongdoing. Better to test evidence first, no?
Assume K says true…test this against scientific method. If it’s true, repeatable, if consilence (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Consilience) exists and agency exists (that is term from formal rhetoric), then inquiry ends. If false, new hypothesis. This is basic game theory, formal rhetoric, and logic…it’s been taught at university for at least a thousand years…
“Cui bono assumes wrongdoing. Better to test evidence first, no?” – the cui bono terminology is used in many doubtful political machinations and it can be a start for this case (in my view) it implies wrongdoing, you’re right, but not necessarily from K. It can be a finger pointing in other direction as well. And now comes the evidence : as we know, probably the K have much more detailed information (they certainly have) but they don’t want to made that publicly, at least for a while. We don’t know the connections of these information within the political and economical environment and the consequences if made public. Therefore the evidence per se, will not come out too soon.
Agreed.
Time will reveal every foul deed tho all the world… Shakespeare said it better,
They’ve been straight so far…so far as I can say…
@ ioan
I’ll admit I haven’t really thought about Kaspersky’s claims from the angle of “cui bono”, but here goes…
Kaspersky is in the cybersecurity business. They sell software that protects computers from all kinds of malware and threats on the Internet. More recently, it seems Kaspersky have been sh*t-listed by the US because they discovered and drew attention to some of the ways in which US intel agencies were using cyber-espionage and cyber-warfare against, for example, Iran. Perhaps in retaliation (I have not really investigated this, but it seems logical in the current climate), the US accused Kaspersky Labs of working together with the Russian FSB and U.S. Homeland Security banned the use of Kaspersky software from any govt computers.
Long story short: Kaspersky now seems to be in a more difficult, antagonistic relationship with the US govt. Moreover, since the Snowden revelations, there is a global, heightened awareness of malicious cyber-activity on the part of the US govt, with companies like Google, Facebook, etc., all working as NSA data mining operations.
All of this is familiar. It seems straight-forward to argue that Kaspersky benefits from general, heightened concerns about Internet security, especially with new, potential threats coming from US intel agencies. By suggesting that the US intel agencies are involved in cryptocurrencies, Kaspersky burnishes their own reputation as a cyber-security watchdog.
Now, all of that said, I’ll repeat that I haven’t thought much about this “cui bono” angle, because I tend to agree more with the line of thinking that @irrelevant suggests in this thread. I.e., as a general rule, the way to gain confidence about a claim is to test it scientifically. Can we find evidence? How strong is the evidence? Smoking guns? Is it something we can test and verify? Can we find some consilience? If not, then we try new hypotheses.
Earlier in this thread, Paul’s example of the microscope would be a good example of aiming for consilience. Let’s say Paul was the first one in history to build a microscope, and he says: “you cannot see them, but there are tiny creatures swimming in water”. At that point, does Paul say, either (1): “I’m not going to share details of how I know this, but believe me it’s true”… or does Paul say (2): “don’t just take my word for it — look, a microscope is two lenses arranged like so… — you can build your own microscope and see for yourself, and then we can discuss what those tiny creatures are” ?
At that point, though, Paul pointed out that we’re trying to make sense of some claims in which hard evidence may not be available, that we’ll have to employ other forms of reasoning. I think that’s correct. So, the microscope analogy doesn’t really help us much, as we are weighing other types of claims.
As ioan suggests, Kaspersky may have more detailed information which they haven’t released yet. Given their current rocky relationship with the US, it would make sense that they want to proceed cautiously. We’ll see what happens.

IT professionals weigh in on the court decision against Kaspersky:
https://www.theregister.co.uk/2018/05/30/us_court_kaspersky_ban_appeal/
Notice from the comments that most feel the US ban on Kaspersky is bogus.
To recap on what Natalya Kaspersky has stated (which I consider to be “primary evidence”)
“Bitcoin is a project of American intelligence agencies, which was designed to provide quick funding for US, British and Canadian intelligence activities in different countries. [The technology] is ‘privatized,’ just like the Internet, GPS and TOR. In fact, it is dollar 2.0. Its rate is controlled by the owners of exchanges,” one of the slides read.
Natalya Kaspresky has also stated on the smart phone …
A smartphone “is a remotely controlled device designed for entertainment, work and at the same time for spying on its owner,” according to Kaspersky, who is also the co-founder of Kaspersky Lab.
https://sputniknews.com/business/201801191060881605-kasperskaya-bitcoin-us-intelligence/
Where primary evidence is concerned it is usual to make a statement. Now we ask, is this person being truthful, to which I respond, yes, and I believe Kaspersky have warned us because they are worried where this digital-fiat is heading. I know what fiat is and until we can have real money (not anytime soon) then we should all be aware that the loss of our note and coin fiat in its physical form is going to be the fight ahead for us all. Consider the New World Order with only digital-fiat available worldwide. Consider the loss of freedom and consider the controls that are then available to the elite. The internet does not have to be the two-way traffic it is now. Stay in the physical real world as much as possible with things that can be physically touched and bear some resemblance toward sovereignty and individualism, like those notes and coins which have their recognised and well understood identities labelled upon them … those intrinsic values which make note and coin collecting fascinating for many people. I will expand on this theme later to a higher level, but enough for now. Cheers.
If we follow common usage of the words in English, Natalya Kaspersky has made some claims about Bitcoin. At least in the articles cited, she has not as yet offered evidence to support her claims. This is clear from the language used in the title and very first sentence of the Sputnik article:
Maybe she will elaborate on this, maybe she won’t. Shall we give her a chance, at least?
Meanwhile, saying that a claim is a fact or evidence does not make it so, and playing games with language is a known way to make people stop listening.
As for two-way traffic on the Internet being somehow turned off, I would say that if you actually go and study how IP/TCP works, you’ll discover that the protocol would entirely cease to function if your ISP or any gateway tried to impose that. E-mail, your web browser, any music or radio or video streaming services you use, any social media, including this site, and more — all of it would stop working.
@ Mujo have you seen the following MIT/NSA document? Might be worth a look. Although it’s not about Bitcoin explicitly. Interesting to see the appearance of the Wall Street and international law firm Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson in this document. They handle private equity, mergers and acquisitions and other big money financial services for all the big investment banks: Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, etc.
http://groups.csail.mit.edu/mac/classes/6.805/articles/money/nsamint/nsamint.htm
@ Jonathan
I’ve seen that paper, yes. There’s been some discussion of it on the Internet. It’s the next most logical destination in this discussion.
It’s primarily a summary of several other papers, exploring the idea of “electronic cash”. Somebody needs to do a closer reading, but as far as I can tell these papers are talking about some of the same general problems as the Bitcoin white paper, but with important differences. This paper, while distinguishing between “on-line” and “off-line” scenarios, presupposes that a bank is involved in the transaction. It hypothesizes that “a database” could be used to resolve the double-spending problem, but it doesn’t appear to explore how that would actually work.
By contrast, Bitcoin is a fully P2P system with nodes for running the blockchain. There is no role for banks or existing financial institutions. Nakamoto states right in the opening sentences of his paper that banks mean the model is based upon trust, and the aim of Bitcoin is to provide transactions that do not require “trusted” financial institutions. Instead of “trust”, it’s CPU power, ergo the 51%, etc. To solve the double-spending problem, Nakamoto also sketches out the mechanics of the blockchain, which is a simple distributed database running in the nodes.
So, I see some significant differences, but again, these documents need to be read and compared more closely. The other papers, as well, since this MIT/NSA paper heavily summarizes previous articles.
If Kaspersky argues her case further, and unless she reveals some other heretofore unknown source that’s been hiding in plain sight, I would expect she invokes this paper. However, to make a strong case I think it would be necessary to really dig into this paper, as well as the other articles on the subject, to arrive at a clearer statement of what Nakamoto got from these various sources, and how much of it was actually developed by researchers at the NSA. There seems to be a lot of prior art.
Personally, I am curious, so I hope someone knowledgeable — Kaspersky, for example — takes on the task. The result would be an interesting read, for sure.
Finally, even if it were proven that, for example, SHA-256 can be attacked and the US intel agencies have the means to do this on a meaningful scale (I.e., it doesn’t take them months of running a giant farm of supercomputers to crack a single code) — and of that, I am doubtful —, there are other cryptos that use different algorithms.
As Bro has argued elsewhere, the crypto genie is out of the bottle.
@ mujo … “claim” is the word used by the Russian media reporter and Russia has a central bank also … (diffusion … yes/no ?) The tense should all be present … “is” … all the way … we should not alter language to give the impression that something is in the past and is forgotten about. Who is playing with language now ! … “Bitcoin” … “internet neutrality” … “The Federal Reserve” … “democratic government” … fiat is termed “money” … and so on.
I have stated what I believe. The internet is “served” via servers using government owned wiring and elite owned satellites. With spying the internet is three-way and to control us all can be four way … for instance … and did I say “shutdown” … no … but it could be.
They say that one may judge the character of a man, or an institution, by how it deals with the powerless, the stranger, the rival, but especially the powerless.
Mumia is powerless… But he seeks a kind of immortality by writing to generation not yet born…and to us.
A new book…
https://blackagendareport.com/ghastly-crimes-us-empire-mumia-and-co-authors-new-book
There’s a 20 minute audio…
Murder Incorporated: Empire, Genocide and Manifest Destiny – Book One. “It tackles all of America’s warlike behavior, almost every war America has fought, all of its slaughters, both overt and covert,” said Vittoria, who also produced the documentary film, Long Distance Revolutionary: A Journey with Mumia Abu Jamal.”
(me? the family used to run a station in Ohio, smuggling escaped slaves to Canada, so I was told by Granny, who knew all about it…a million years ago. Quakers!)
Anyway you know the character of an operation (Empire) by how it treats the helpless, eh?
It’s all about empowering the helpless to become superheroes doing the same for others still helpless, when their powers are dramatically increased.
The Powers That Shouldn’t BE, projecting their own psychopathy on to others, fear that they might be treated unkindly by New Monsters In Town.
But we, the neither Super-Powerful, nor Entirely Helpless must take the risk with the now helpless and dismiss the fears of the PTSB.
From Underground Railroad transmission of slaves north to freedom to One Belt One Road transmission of Opportunity to Every Corner of the Earth.
… it is well known Americans of all ages love to read their comic books … the older generation of Russians especially know it and laugh about this with sarcastic humour and abrupt comments. Salespeople use the persuasive power of “illustration’, as you know. Those flashing rotating lights either side of the speaker are there to hypnotise the audience … lulling all with fabricated futuristic visions, and needing warriors to promote the way ahead.
Well, Paul, maybe so. But I do not understand the relationship between your remark and my mine above…seems non-sequitur…
I do remember reading comics, during Korean war circa 1952.
I know a few fellas an gals round these here parts. They do not read comics. They know what’s going on, so far as circumstances permit. They’re busy working most days, and they expect the status quo to shatter…but are too busy and too helpless to try to do much about it, because they know they’ll simply have to suffer their fates.
I just thought that Mumia’s cooperative dual author book might interest a few Saker readers who might not otherwise be aware of the book.
I also do not understand Bro93’s “all about…” theme. In the realms of reality “should be…” does not seem relevant at all.
Mumias’ thoughts interest me. His is a voice from the dead in hell, so to say…the books and thoughts he telegraphs out are in a sense letters from hell…and astonishing if for no other reason that that.
If the blundering Trump and his cohort manage to cut loose and shatter the Empire (intent is irrelevant – that’s the way they’re goin’ whatever their reasons, if any) then History and logos suggests that the US will descend into even worse conditions than SU did, and probably civil war, if the term is appropriate. Ugly. Superheros and comics? Huh? Does not compute…
In such situation voice Mumia is, I think, voice from future..so to say an “echo from the future”. He isn’t going to live much longer, they say. Thus he is free, in a screwy way, like Hamlet’s Father’s ghost was “free”.
… I was following Bro … but now I find my thirty year young son does not want to live in this world anymore … he cannot find a partner … what do we do … any ideas ?
Well… That’s not good Paul.
We had 7 children..6 are left. They evidently want to live – and they’re getting to be in their 40’s now. Several spent a lot of time in jail…some are professors, some are screwy sex nuts.
But they’re all nuts…it’s situational, as Einstein and many Philosophers say, or circumstantial as Marx puts it.
The perception of circumstances now, if accurate enough, makes one nuts because it is a singularity moment in time when nuts is briefly normal. A singularity in History, Empire shatters, no assumptions are valid, no logos, a brief time…maybe 20 (or 100) years and we’re well into the phase change, near crises…the kid’s probably ok…it’s the moment in Time…not him.
As to the practical for the 30 year old? Quite seriously, a cynic would help the fella find a friendly lady… In my restless youth I found that lady schoolteachers and librarians were very friendly. So were the ladies at sleazy bars…but they were of a troublesome nature over time, while the teachers (one in particular was teaching college English when we met) were all keepers. I kept the best one.
I advertised for keepers in those newspaper days…and used postal service and pen/ink… You know everything from hand written letters…pretty much. I recommend the method.
Never tried Sunday school teachers though it was my next project ahead when I decided on the keeper and broke off the experiment.
I also found that a good union and a skilled trade was a comfort… Nobody can steal that and it works. Depending… on circumstances. Men find meaning in work, and women in children, I have been told…seems pretty true generally. IBEW is ok, also pipe-fitters and carpenters..in west coast anyway. Millwrights have a simple test. also apprentice program…but you really have to know and work…wages are about 40/hr (and you’ll earn every penny)
I believe you have several trade crafts under your belt, and so assume the kids does too..I’d try to build on that. It’s fun, and the ladies appreciate the value and self respect and pride that trade-craft brings…
Hope that helps…
… talking always helps. This is an Australian problem … some kind of malaise takes over with issues regarding environmental degradation and our slaughtering of animals for food etc. He has a university degree in IT, but does not want to work in that field anymore … does not know what to do.
My professor kid has such problem, also, and he is not graced by nature, so he’s afraid to make much way with ladies, though of course his status attracts them he’s still afraid, the more attractive the lady the more afraid. He went to Oz, by the way…to make professional contacts, the university put him up to it. He’s back now, and I am a problem in that somehow…security clearances or some crud along those lines. We have zero contact because of that.
I myself feel sorrow about my own tiny part in wasting the planet, so I know this malaise of which you speak.
If I was willing to soak up the manipulations (deliberate or whatever) of modern media carnival TBS the sadness would indeed, I believe, be paralyzing. Hard physical work and focus of small problems in mechanics or electronics or like working on my prehistoric and abused Harley, doing house work, and doing nice little things for my wife and neighbors sets the malaise aside. A nice clean kitchen is a reward but getting it that way stops the sadness…something my old commie mother taught me..sorta chop wood carry water kinna thing, Kansas style….
I suspect the malaise is also expressed as insanity in violence, according to class and education…it’s not solely in Oz.
Honestly, if I were 18 or so instead of 70, I myself would do a crashcourse in Russian and volunteer in Ru army… Sorta a thing like “Poor Liz”… Maybe it would work… Feelings are, “circumstantial”, change circumstance, malaise goes poof…
Hope that helps…
“Feelings are, “circumstantial”, change circumstance, malaise goes poof… ” (I agree with you)
Next week we will drive south 2500 km, from our tropical paradise into the winter temperate climate to visit our son. So, we will be dressed like Russians in Siberia … almost, and I will play Russian music (mp3) along the way. I have asked him to consider the person he has not met yet … to focus and think about what is in the future, but the malaise clouds the vision, impedes the thinking processes. My uncle was a Donbass miner in Soviet Ukraine and when he was not paid for three months work he fled into Poland. Uncle Joe had good reason to have malaise, but he was always happy and cheerful.
Best of Luck Amigo…
Kick him in the rear with kind help…
………………
I think I may have implied that I would “support” Ru Army now. I can not.
Long ago (but after 18) I took oath to support and defend USC. And at 70 I have no value beyond memory and gardening… My oath stands. But…
What does this oath mean now? I thought about it for a long time…
Adapted to circumstance I believe it’s described by a once famous Russian…
I have not again found Brusilov’s letter to Pravda…but the principle he states in the letter is approximately my own position, in re the US, which is obviously an occupied territory on the cusp of disaster…
I would suggest Saker publish the Brusilov letter within an essay.
We used to say in the foundry (I was apprentice in iron foundry at 23) “all foundry-men go to Heaven, because they’ve already been to hell.”
Well, same for miners…Uncle Joe’s already been to hell…so he’s smiling, so to say.
My own mining experience is limited to alluvial surface mines… They’re not bad places to work, but underground and I assume coal…Joe’s been there…I bet. Been to hell and back.
@ Paul
I agree with ioan’s comments, elsewhere in this thread: it is difficult to chase down a partner. In some sense, s/he must come to you. OTOH, there might be some life changes possible to help chance, so to speak. And under age 40, there is certainly time for some changes. It’s an early hour for despair.
Needless to say, IT is a profession that is largely male, especially if one is working as an engineer. No matter how much our educators in the West call for “more girls studying math” the balance doesn’t seem to change much. IT is also a profession that can be very demanding of one’s time. Startups and young companies make extraordinary demands of their employees’ time. Where does work end and social life begin? However, it is also a profession with many people working flexible hours, and from remote locations.
Could this flexibility be leveraged to embark on an adventure? Some travel? Work remotely? Meet people in other places? A change of landscape to escape from the malaise? A transition to something different… ?
If I would be 30, I wouldn’t bother to find a partner, when you force something, in the most cases you get something wrong. If She has to come in my life, She will come anyway, if not, so be it and dasvidanya.
Hmm.
May I make a suggestion?
Remind him: he’s part of the continuity of life in general and your life and those preceding you in particular.
With that, comes intergenerational responsibility to leave a mark, however small.
Tell him to start with helping someone, anyone, anywhere. To get *outside* of himself.

I opened a checking account in a local bank I used thirty years ago, quite a complex matter in the increasingly controlled security state. The supervisor took me into his office. I could choose from three accounts: legacy to simple. I said I wanted an interest-free one. He did a double take and looked at me as if I was an alien who just stepped off a space ship; he quickly recovered from what probably nobody in thirty years had requested. I like simple, and since it was the only one that allowed for no interest, I chose it.
Herein lies a moral: interest and usury are bad and a simple life is good. Why? Because the former drives the world to the brink from greed and stupidity; you know, an infinitely inflating bubble is bound to burst. Well, smaller bubbles deflate all the time in the infamous “pump and dump” scheme. It’s difficult to be simple in such a world, but at least I have the satisfaction of feelings of integrity and honesty.
Paul Craig Roberts had a main article, wondering about Putin’s western concessions. It’s not concessions at all; Putin is just one of the big players in on the game, along with Trump and Xi. They’re all collaborating and colluding with the money-managing Zio Jews against the Bio Jews and Gentiles, who actually love the Biosphere. Usury is the Death Star but who cares when “use-you-ry” is the name of the money game, with all those pretty perks? Usury is the litmus test of evil; an acid that corrodes our bodies and souls, beneath skin-deep words.
Max is right in his analysis of capitalism’s “cancerous growth.” I also think he’s correct about Bro’s five nominalist tricks to promote gimmicks like bitcoins, which have use-you-ry etched all over them. Using money to make money is non-productive and destructive of life and liberty. The fact that nearly everyone caves in to the peer pressure, including Russia, is no verification of its truth; in fact, is a darn good sign of its falsity.
I just love it when someone comes along and uses Occam’s Razor to cut through the Gordian Knot of sophistry and sophomoric pretense. The Love Army does just that with its fifth division, which flies against the dastardly Death Star Army of money madness. It is well that we question Putin on economics; Putin may be a saint in the blog-sphere but he’s a devil in the bio-sphere by not claiming sovereignty for Russia when it comes to money. Just follow the money if you want to understand what Jesus called a “den of vipers.” Follow Love if you want to avoid taking a hit from an iron fist in a velvet glove. I know, I know, it’s not that simple–maybe for you, but for me: small is beautiful and simple is bountiful.
Love, Dennis
You need more than a six minute attention span, Dennis, to have rudimentary competence in many of the subjects discussed here.
The Club of Rome is NATO. Period. Max and you are dupes of the Empire.
You (plural) may not intend to serve them, but you haven’t done your homework and think you don’t need to. But the road to hellish consequences is paved with such error.
You imagine that your sincere feelings are all that is required. Wrong!
You’ve got to do your homework, or you fail miserably in reasoning.
Regularly. With so much earnestness,……and so little humor.
The errors are painful. But stubbornly persistent.
And you fail a lot in your judgments. But with an egoism that is just disarmingly, charmingly comical. Like your self promotion while engaged in discussion of Jesus Christ, and observing his occasional meat eating, casting doubt on Him while promoting your absurd self-constructed Anti-Zionism which cannot distinguish between Zionists and Jews…..and seems more anti-semitic than anti-Zionist….because you fall for so many of their tricks….including the pre-requisite anti-semitism (“My people, the Romans, are setting The Jews up for a Fall…so .don’t worry. Stick with me and my Love Army that slanders serious people and sets up the Jews for a Fall”
Just lovely.
But not very dangerous, because it is just so silly in the sense of a narcissism that cannot critically self-reflect and laugh at itself, and thus is so amusing, to observe at work. At times. Before the seriousness of the level of error just reaches critical proportions..
In fact I have solid proof that you are the Zionist Jew, in spirit, not the LaRouche couple whose enormous record of achievement in anti-Empire terms, well known by serious persons for near 50 decades you miss 100% while mentally self-pleasuring and slandering those whose work you neither know, nor can concentrate on collecting nor analyzing long enough to comprehend even one tiny iota of it.
You could start with 40 minutes of Billington instead of 7 minutes. The rest is Q and A. No need to watch all of that. I didn’t have the time either.
Anyway. tell me you are not a follower of this Hollywood Jew, who famously stated:
“I don’t know what the question is, but the answer is sex.
Q.E.D.
LOL.
Woody Allen. You know the joke: What was the name of his next film, after the allegations of molesting his young teenage daughter?
Honey, I Screwed the Kids.
At least he had a wonderful sense of humor. But that joke was on him, not by him, unfortunately.
I remind everybody that all personal attacks are banned under moderation rule #2. I also ask everybody to refrain from “counter-attacks” on a personal nature.
If this rule is further ignored, I will start issuing temporary and, if needed, permanent bans.
Thank you,
The Saker
Bro 93:
You persist in using ad hominem instead of addressing the facts I have presented in my argument. You offer nothing except continued adolescent stridency. You make no indication that you’ve understood, much less read, anything I’ve said, and you presume to know so much about me that you dare to say that I am a dupe of the empire, when nothing could be more wrong.
It clearly makes no difference to you how much fact I present; you insist on your personal attack and slander.
I have addressed each of your slanderous comments against me elsewhere, and it humours me greatly that you are intellectually incapable to respond except with more ad hominem and straw men.
It is my Putin versus your Trump, my Lavrov versus your Pompino (sic), your Huckabee Sanders to my Zhakarova.
The “hellish consequences” are exactly those that are unfolding now, as continued growth becomes impossible, and that’s why I live rurally in NZ, far away from those very consequences that blindness, arrogance, and ignorance such as yours have helped to bring about. Please, continue to invest in blockchain; I invest in land, tools, skills, books, people, and physical gold. I realise that, hemmed in as you are in Europe or North America, you have not the skill nor the imagination to do better for yourself, and I would have wished you well regardless, but the picayune depravity you continue to display here is more than reason enough for me to laugh at you, from a considerable height.
To be pellucidly clear (else I think you wouldn’t understand) you continue to use personal attacks like these:
“Max and you are dupes of the Empire.”
“You (plural) may not intend to serve them, but you haven’t done your homework and think you don’t need to.”
I have thick skin, and the mud-slinging by the unwashed does not sully me in the least, but I am starting to find it distasteful to remain on this site when such personal vendetta, unbacked by any fact or reasoning, is not, well, moderated. Bro is free, of course, to say whatever s/h/it wants, but I had rather thought that rational argumentation required that statements be backed by fact. I have always done so, but the statements above by Bro are nothing but slander and libel. Methinks that, in an earlier age, Bro would have accused me of witchcraft because I had turned him into a newt, even though he did get better. Didn’t he?
Dearest Bro 93,
You continue to sling personal attacks; somehow they get past the moderators here. Making judgment on Dennis’ attention span, and falsely accusing both him and myself of being “dupes of the empire” is a personal attack, and I’ve called you out on this before. That you continue to do so not only adds nothing to whatever your current argument happens to be, but also nullifies it completely. If, in fact, your argument is correct then you can prove it to all of us only by desisting with this kind of shameful behaviour and engaging in reasoned discourse.
For the record, and as I wrote before in the comments to PCR’s article, I agree entirely that The Club of Rome is a vile organistion and a derivative of NATO. And, again as I’ve said before, I never mentioned the Club; you did, in the context of attempting to rebut my argument concerning the impossibility and undesirability of continual growth –the ideology of a cancer cell– wherein I cited The Limits To Growth (LTG). There again, your argument against LTG was not based on any content within it but solely based on its origin within the Club. That is, you refute the findings within LTG based only on the fact that it was sired by the Club. That, again, is an ad hominem, and continued use of it is indicative of an entity that is not-agreement-capable.
Furthermore, and as I already written in my long response to you in the PCR comment section, LTG is not nearly the only argument against continued growth. I, and another commenter FB, wrote extensively with reasoned facts fully cited. You did not respond there, and instead resort to side-swipes here, further lessening your credibility. In fact, many of your comments are not much more than screeds, with little rhetorical value. If you wish to convince anyone, please engage without the use of fallacious techniques.

The Connecto is……Pedophilia. And with that Bix rests his case against former child actor gaming multi-millionaire and crypto billionaire……and Larimer and Blumer and everyone on the project and ALL token holders.
Guess what?? Any child actor that made any serious money and was around long enough to earn it probably got sodomized by one of the Talmudo-Satanists running the studios in Hollywood..
Minimally one or more (if Not ALL….of Brock’s Hollywood contacts from years past) of his acquaintances from Hollyweird were probably sheep dipped in such evil.
And it is true that the Abused typically become the New Generation of Abusers and that Brock Pierce was one of the instigators of Block One…..$4 billion strong now……but resigned at the request of Dan Larimer (CTO)and Brendan Blumer (CEO) when one of Brock’s old Hollyweird acquaintances stained by allegations of pedophilia was outed by a journalist (also stained by allegations of pedophilia…LOL….another Pot Calling The Kettle Black Incident) on CNN or CNBC or something a few months ago.
Maybe he was a victim that never became an abuser? Maybe there is some stain and he;s no angel, but a person trying to change things for the better,as best he can, with a LOT more financial leverage than any of us here have……???
I don’t know!
In any case ,Brock gracefully bowed out of Block One Executive Management, but Bix acts as though he buggered a few dozen young boys in recent months and EOS Will Bugger the Public…….SO Subscribe to His Channel instead of The Awakenment or Clay Albright’s.
“What Else Is New? This Is What Humans Do!”, I recall someone saying recently.
Throw the Baby Out With the Bath Water…..insist that black is white and white is black and there is no such thing as grey, etc, etc,
But that’s just my first impression after a few minutes. Now I will finish watching Bix’s EOS The ALL or Nothing Bet ….video for today……..Always give a critic a chance to be heard, at least once or twice.
My comment has to do with Greek – Russian Friendship and why Ivan Savidis (a Pontian (Greek of Black Sea) who was born in Georgia, USSR at two years old his family moved to Rostov. Something is going on in Europe… during the last week I heard that European banks are closing/(refusing to open) accounts for companies connected to Russia. Closed bank accounts mean that bank guarantees issued to Russian employees are terminated, so Immigration Departments are refusing to issue working permits. Even “big players” are worrying that they’d be next in being pressured to stop providing administration/consalting/legal servises to Russian off-shore companies. Today I heard that DHL(!) refused deliveries to European offices of certain Russian companies. WTF…

The method of producing the electric power that they give at IEA is unclear…but they are also tasked with minimizing CO2 and eliminating energy subsidies…I smell nuclear power stations as ultimate intent. Maybe…
All nuclear reactors produce Pu, amigo…anybody who can walk and chew gum at the same time can cobble up a gadget if they have Pu…and the separation can be chemical, deadly dangerous, immoral, criminal? Sure. But pretty simple chemistry.
End result IEA effort may be “unintended” gadgets all over Africa… A diabolical outcome.
Solar PV in distributed net makes sense. Railroads make sense. Bridges make sense. Reactors are nutty except for special applications. Ultimately uneconomic poisonous and deadly dead-end otherwise.
IEA program direction worth keep note of over time.

Comrade L is the man!
I often reflect and consider these things and ask my self questions. The Soviets were going to create the socialist man…I think they did pretty well…
Consider:
the men Putin has – every one a Soviet Product.
And those critical new weapons? Every one builds on Soviet Research and design.
Because of this I hold that ultimately the Soviet period was entirely worthwhile and justified.
It was Heroic. Heroic in the classical sense. It will be seen as the phase in history that saved the world.
Well, I think those matters over…

“Official reply of the Embassy to the question of the media with regard to the rescheduling of the inquest into the death of Alexander Perepilichny
Question: What is the reason for the delay of the inquest into the death of Alexander Perepilichny, previously scheduled for 29 May?
Answer: The Embassy is closely following the twists and turns of the inquest into the death of a Russian businessman A.Perepelichny, which has been conducted since 2012.
The current delay has been explained by the fact that the judge is waiting for the concluded Home Office review into the 14 deaths allegedly linked to the Russian state, including that of Mr Perepilichny……..
The idea behind the gimmickry of tossing unsupported theories in court, together with the de-facto cover-up of the materials related to A.Perepelichny, possessed by the British secret services, is quite clear: transform the theory of non-suspicious death into another conspiracy theory of a state-sponsored murder. Familiar British secret services modus operandi, traces of which can be seen in similar high-profile cases involving Russian citizens in the UK. ”

I take it that Mary is asking the question . The main target during the Middle Eastern fiasco since 2003 has been Iran and Iranian influence in the region , the countries in question include Iraq , Syria , Lebanon and to a certain extent Yemen. The Iranian strategy is to ‘limit’ Israeli aggrandizement or expansion through their proxies especially Hezbollah. Israeli influence in American politics and foreign affairs is enormous since the creation of AIPAC and basically they control the Congress and Senate along with key State Department officials . Netanyahu has been advocating the destruction of Syria since the start of the war in 2011 , he is also the one who devised the ‘Red Lines’ for having others attack Syria for alledged chemical attacks of which there were three such ‘false flag ‘ events since. Bibi’s also the one responsible for the scrapping the JCPOA Iran deal which he opposed since 2014 when he tried to force the Obama admin to include the Iranian conventional weapons systems notably their main source of defence which is the non nuclear ballistic missile program which by the way can strike Israel. The Israeli goal has been to destroy Iraq and Syria as functioning states and also to destroy their societies , examples of this are many so I’ll just mention a few ( Raqqa, Palmyra , Aleppo, Mosul ) the destruction was ‘intentional’. The Lebanese ‘question’ involves two very important thorns for the Zionists , the first is Hezbollah which can and will defend Lebanon from Israeli aggression the other is ‘water resources’ of which Israel may face a shortage in the not so distant future . By destroying Syria the war would definitely spill over into Lebanon and it would be fought using Al Nusra terrorists instead of jewish soldiers although the jews would use their airpower to support them somewhat like the Libya model. The potential powder keg at present is the Syrian Army moving into the south the Quneitra region which borders the Golan Heights the Israeli reaction may be fierce. As far as Oil goes and its implications in the ME oil has played its part. Lets start with the fact that oil is traded in US dollars and the biggest supplier is Saudi Arabia which appreciated the destruction of Iraq because with the disruption of oil supplies the Saudi’s made up the difference with an increase in output . This gives the Saudi’s more US dollars and the MIC benefits because of the increase in arms sales (business as usual). The same can be said with the increase in sanctions against Iran and Iran’s curtailed oil production which was replaced by the Saudi’s once again. Fast forward to today the biggest challenge to Saudi Arabia and US petrodollar is the Chinese Shanghai oil for Yuan or Gold exchange which is gaining traction and is undermining the US dollar. This is all part of the BRI or new silk road project which is threatening US global dominance which includes the regular cabal of Anglo and Jewish bankers. The pipeline theories concerning Syria are nothing more than a distraction , there is more than enough oil being produced today to supply the global demand , with the increase in the price it will actually create a glut.
Helpful overview.
Thank-you.

Your very welcome .
Cheers
Situations in geopolitics are far too complex for many to understand. Requires a lateral mind. For example- it is true USA/UK created the EU as a means of control and as a political version of NATO- yet that does not mean the current situation is the same. USA/UK finance started Bolshevik Communism as a means of control but they ended up mortal enemies… and it will be the same with the EU. Trump and UK are hell bent on destruction of European society. They hate europe, are jelous of it, and wish to destroy it. Nuland was telling the truth about the anglo mentality when she said F’ck the EU. The message is clear EU doesnt want fascism in Ukraine- But USA/UK certainly do.
Europeans desperately need Russian energy, minerals and trade- but East European ultranationalists backed and nurtured by the USA/UK hold them back. It will only be a matter of time before Anglo declare economic war on Europe- and we may be surprised at just how quick they Anglo collapse against the Russian-European alliance. Russia is full European and fully Asian. Indeed it is in fact the highest culture of all Europe .

Have you heard of Bitcointopia, the capital of the United States of Bitcoin? Of course not, because you have better things to do, and also it doesn’t exist yet. But also, oh my god, people are trying to make Bitcointopia and the United States of Bitcoin exist, and the whole thing sounds just as zany as you’d assume a town called Bitcointopia that’s the capital of a made-up country called the United States of Bitcoin would be.

Life is largely a struggle where we employ the known in order to predict, or at least be better prepared, for the unknown. Observance of the smallest changes in our lives may indicate larger changes on the horizon and help us anticipate them. In this regard dreams have always played an important part in our lives. If we can unravel what the censor does to the messages from Soul, we have in our hands an invaluable tool. Soul uses symbols, often employing archetypes but with specific meanings to us as individuals. Deciphering one’s dreams takes practice, but observation over time will reveal certain patterns. This song is from an earlier period in my life, when my world was falling apart. The woman I had loved with all of my heart I was about to lose. My best friend was later to be murdered. My world was coming apart. But a new and better life was to manifest, if only I could endure.
“If”
Trampled in the rush, here it comes,
you survive, take a dive…into yourself.
Somewhere in the crush, don’t know what,
or why, don’t know…if?
Put it on the shelf with everything else,
Tie me to the one love, I just can’t lose.
Certain to be found then, my sickness to go.
Tremble in the dust, in the dirt,
on your knees, cry in the night.
Nothing left to hold, severed rope,
final hope…breath of the rose.
Listen to the sword spin,
Deep inside.
Oceans rise, worlds collide,
Nothing left of that which was,
As you wake on the shores,
Break on the shores,
Wake on the shores of…
Heartbeat, slow feet,
waken to new eyes.
Sunburst, give first
waken to smiling eyes.
And if I didn’t know that
Tongues may relate,
And if I didn’t know that
Freedom awaits
Id’ve put it on the shelf with everything else.
Tie me to the one love I just can’t lose
Certain to be found then, my sweetness to know.
Latency and inaccuracies in perception and logic dictate absolute condition of not knowing, yet exigencies of life dictate absolute necessity of action…conflict is thus inevitable aspect of life.
Maybe I should repeat this truth…
If a creature lives it is in a conflict. Life and conflict are inseparable.
Live in moral envelope and conflict is minimum, so is adventure…so people escape (especially young people in troubled times) the moral bounds…part of ugly process of social adaptation. Almost all escapes end poorly.
(I stay in moral corral…my adventuring spirits are mostly spent…but this was not always so. Lucky to be alive…)
Thanks for your thoughts, irrelevant. Yes, life is dynamic and every experience adds to the sum total of who we are. What we are is a constant uncovering, as is who we are. The Hindus speak of ‘Lila’, or the “play of Soul” where we are not only the lead actor in our own dramas, but also the supporting cast, audience as well as detached observer. The detached observer is closest to what we are, while who we are is the unique way we respond to our experiences, the dramas we enact. In any case, our play, while a mock-up, may still ‘deadly serious’ while we are experiencing it. At some point we learn that we are unfolding into a greater version of ourselves. Conflict fuels that process. Its been said that artistic types seek escape, however, there’s no escape from ourselves and in the end we must decide what is real and what is subterfuge. Best, D.
“If a creature lives it is in conflict. Life and conflict is inseparable.” If we presuppose that this is a warring universe then conflict ( between individuals, groups etc. ) is inevitable, especially where the question of survival is concerned, ie; resources etc.
However, as the knocks of life begin to bear fruit, we start to take note of the spiritual laws that govern all of life. Today we hear the term “psychic space”. It means my freedom ends where yours begins. If I’m worth my salt spiritually, I will know that invading your psychic space will create conflict. If I’m therefore in harmony with myself, I will also be in harmony with my neighbour. If God loves us unconditionally, then we too are bound by the same law.
This doesn’t necessarily mean that we’ll see eye to eye with our neighbour of course, but if we have a modicum of grace, we’ll live and let live. There’s not a lot we can do in terms of “enlightening” another person, since all enlightenment must come from within the individual. We can only live that which we know.
Therefore, I would qualify your statement by saying that conflict is inevitable only if we are out of harmony with ourselves. The best way to regain harmony is to practice forgiveness and tolerance. Self sacrifice sustains the universes. Best, D.
I tend toward agreement, Comrade…but have evidently failed to express my logic clearly. I expressed a logical proof.
Again, then:
If a thing is living it must necessarily live in some place at any Nth moment. Time seems to be, so far, a one way function. Each moment is never repeated. Is not possible to rerun a moment. Animals, in example Man, live by moving within said environment…even if the man is very pacific he must move. With eyes and light he can see, with mind he can estimate, for example, what’s not seen – such as what is behind his head when he turns round and round. But he can not know his environment as it is, but only approximately as it was or seemed to be recently. Not knowing, absolutely if fact unable to know the present, only having a notion about the past, his movement must inevitably result in a conflict with his environment, which of course changes at rates that, again, can only be estimated, and which vary in random, unpredictable ways.
If more than one Man is in the matrix, similarly, they must inevitably come into conflict. However the permutations get too complex to study when there are many creatures…I am only using the simple case, it is sufficient to prove the principle.
Here’s a specific example: Joey is Boy Scout and goes camping in woods. Latrine is 200 yards down forest trail from Joey’s pup-tent and campfire. For a few days Joey walks this path through the forest twice a day, and he knows the rocks in the stream and the roots across the trail. However the moon is waning and one night Joey has an urgent need to use latrine. Again, given enough time, this happens. So it happens that Joey is unable to see much at all, there is no moonlight, but he remembers much. Alas, a tree has fallen across the trail since last visual reference…Joey fails to find latrine in timely manner, bangs head on tree, has embarrassing accident, and may lose a eye because he walked right into a sharp splinter of the fallen tree and jabbed himself in the eye. This is example of simple proof…one can expand the set of situations and actors and categorize conflict sets in a formal logical hierarchical array.
In the animals dominated by logic, panthers, bears, wolves, man, for example, the creatures evolve methods to deal with social conflict, “morals” we call this. Alas, again, this living environment of creatures have circumstantially differing perception…they cannot in fact know each other now, but only approximately know parts of what was, and they cannot exist in the same space, so no creature has the point of view of another…but can only guess, yet they must act as though now is the same as then… So contretemps between creatures are also, morals notwithstanding, inevitable..
If we call Joeys’ terrible night “a lack of harmony within Joey”, it seems to me that we are simply saying the same thing…perfect harmony in an environment that cannot be known except from past approximate evaluations is evidently and is proved, I think, to be impossible except by chance, from time to time. This is to say “environment is unknowable in fact” (there’s a significant latency in Time and also point of view problems).
In matters of human-human relations we may get along for a while, but the example “Joey” illustrates also that conflict (and even violence and killing) is inevitable.
We do try to minimize this…but the effort can not be fully successful. This is simple fact. Conflict and life exist as a couple – God has made it so, if you like.
I propose that whatever Harmony existed within Joey went away when the splinter entered the eye…
Man is creature of circumstance, but he has to guess about the nature of that circumstance because everything he thinks he knows is in the past, he cannot know “now” but only guess based on imperfect and limited memory of limited perceptions.
When there is not enough to eat, perceptions and even memory change, a lot. This is simply another example, but of course complex because of competition…sometimes people kill their own children, it’s a matter of what one might call “imaginary perception”.
But the Joey example is a simple example of proof.
I agree that giving is better than receiving and tends to cultivate Peace, but assert (I think the logic is established as proved) that only a modicum of Peace is possible and only from time to time. We simply have to work at it knowing that we must fail…it’s the nature of Life that Conflict is always a moment away and we live in the past moment…latency is always about >1 second, if I remember the physiology, and that’s for simple stuff like walking…
“We simply have to work at it knowing that we must fail…”, agreed.
“We simply have to work at it, knowing we must fail…” Agreed.
My previous reply seems to have gone poof…
I like the idea, but… Life and Conflict are an inseparable couple. How so?
Is simple logic…you cannot know the moment, you may make guesses about it based on logic and past observations and faulty memory which is plastic and variable, but living people either die or they move. Moving is necessarily based on estimates, not real time. Minimum latency is at least one second in humans. You can’t see what is behind you, or in the dark… So?
Ever stub your toe?
Of course this example is conflict between man and stationary object, now take a drive on the road…or go to a bar…
An internal harmony is shattered by stubbed toe…in fact it tends to make it more frequent, I bet.
However it is also very nice.
A stubbed toe is the result of an outer collision. An outer collision is usually the result of inner conflict. Inner conflict is a condition arising from resistance to Spirit. There is a state of consciousness that lifts us beyond the realm of accident. We may still have accidents due to reserve karma, daily karma and so on. But this is entirely different to living in the realm of accident, ie; at the mercy of the Lords of Karma.
Inner harmony is not a permanent state, its an ideal we work toward. Like learning a challenging piece of music. Our yardstick is yesterday or last week. We need constant re-tuning. We have free will, opinions, intelligence, imagination and immortality, but that horizon just keeps shifting. True effort is never for nought, nor does it go unnoticed. It brings us poise. We’re never alone. What was once conflict, no longer is.
Ok, an ameba eats another ameba, did first ameba lack Inner Harmony? Did second? What is Karma of asexual creatures that simply divide and eat. Are they capable of Harmony? This is ongoing conflict as an intrinsic part of life.
In the 1960’s I knew a man who was paralyzed by a stray bullet…did he, as he sat on the john in Harmony and Peace, lack Harmony and somehow draw the lead slug into his spine?
Stuff happens. Obviously mostly external…that’s the point. I cannot understand how an inner conflict created the conflict, it was a random event, like lightening.
Since inner harmony is, you say, not a permanent state, it is evident that conflict is also available. But I cannot understand how Harmony can stop a lead slug. Where is this magic agency? And how can we ever be in Harmony if we cannot know this moment save from memory of past moments and past guesses about past moments. We are always existing in the unknowable now, and stuff happens.
First of all, I’m not trying to convince you of anything. Why would I possibly want to do that? Your tone at times is verging on belligerent. Like a rebellious child.
If you sincerely want answers, you need to find them for yourself. But first, you need to form questions. Have you heard of the term contemplation? It means getting interested in something and looking at it from many different angles. Stuff happens, sure. But there are reasons for why it happens. Its a matter of connecting the dots. However, sometimes cause and effect are a long, long way apart. Longer than we can remember.
Of course we exist in the unknowable, but if there is an unknowable, then there is also that which is knowable. A portion of the unknowable, will offer itself up to he/she who sincerely wants to know. If one does not live that which he knows, or holds precious, then he has simply become his own effect. That which one knows, cannot be explained, it can only be lived. Its an indefencible; it can neither be justified by argument, nor defended from attack.
Ah! The ad hominem hint…Many thanks.
Of course in Rhetoric an ad hominem is seen as concession, as the speaker has nothing else to proffer. And of course the resort to magic runs the same way with respect to logos.
I did not imagine that I was attempting to convince, but demonstrating logic by explanation and example.
Evidently belief in magic seems superior to logic to some.
Ok, by all means, believe in magic.
Peace, Brother, and thanks for the concession.
(There is a formal metaphysics of conflict… I wrote a thesis on it. That will never by published if I can prevent it. Too dangerous… )
True, Dimitar – your words regarding the learning and knowledge – but is also true what Irrelevant said about conflict – once a soul comes to life in a material body, there is a conflict within itself (soul and body) , then is conflict in the material world of that new life, without which there couldn’t be learning. For the humans I could easily understand the logic but when it comes to other forms of life, like the flora and fauna, well, I can’t find the same logic. Is it because there is a universal material rule to which every form of life must abide, or is it because of humans, alas – the flora and fauna being our “fellow travellers” ? in their case, the responsibility of their well being is being shared between heaven and earth and humans, isn’t it ?
Okay Lads and Lassies I have a mind-bending crypto update for y’all, I know it will go over like a lead balloon, a failed ICO unless I do a little warm up and foreplay, in some congruence with the recurring theme seen in the longest posts by one of our most prolific poster boys, Dennis O’Leary.
The crypto-paranoid will also require some patience
So, for inspiration and correspondence, I hereby resort to the Shakespearean Mark Anthony Address to the Senate of Rome, because Sir Bitcoin can be accused of being every “bit” as am-“bit” ious as Julius Ceasar, by those, who, like Brutus, with JC, would like to consign Sir B to the Dustbin of History’s Failed Ideas.
After that initial (fore) play, from the famous play, comes the Main Act of this comment.
Sir Bitcoin Eulogy
“Friends, Russians, Irish Pub Mates: (Weakening, Dropped the L word. Getting soft….)
Lend me your Conceptual Wallets;
I come to share mine, not to hog it;
The monetary wealth that men accumulate
Deserts their hip pockets,
The Franklins and Grants are not loyal
To any purse or pocket,
So let it also be with Sir Bitcoin … …
In Jaxx, Nano S or trusty Trezor.
The noble Ladies Zang and Fitts
Hath told you Bitcoin is The Mark of the Beast:
If it is so, it is a devious currency,
And grievously hath Satoshi created it …
Here, under hospitality of Saker and the rest,
(For All are honourable Vineyarders;
So are all of us; all honourable Lads and Lassies
Come I to speak on behalf of Sir Bitcoin’s
Exoneration and Eventual Redemption …
He has been my Wallet’s faithful friend,
Profitable and not just for me:
But Fitts says he is the Devil;
And Fitts is an honest (but excessively paranoid) Lassie.
She hath brought many clients
Capital Preservation and Growth,
Whose increases did multiple corporate
And individual brokerage accounts augment:
But in this does Bitcoin seem deficient?
When the Unbanked have tried it, Bitcoin hath blessed them:
Fraud should be made of greedier stuff:
Yet Zang says “Hoard gold and silver, shun Bitcoin!”
And Zang is anti-bankster. But JP Morgan hoards silver too!
You all did see, that on a dozen crypto bull runs to the Moon
God could have bestowed on Sir Bitcoin thousands of Lambos,
Which he did thrice four times refuse: Was this Greed?
He let the crypto-nerds Land their Lambos……
(And finally Get Their Girls:
Internet Money Talks, but “Broke Dude” Walks!
And lives in his mother’s basement….
And the mooning did wonders for their
Formerly Low Self Esteem and Non-Existent Sex Lives!
Verily, say I that Countless crypto developer nerds
By his Bit-Moon Magic lost their Tortured Virginity
And soon discovered Sacred Sex and Non-Digital Love…
Which are More Divine than any financial asset!
(Just Ask the Love Commander….)
Yet Fitts and Zang say he is The Mark of the Beast;
And, sure, they are sincere Lovely Ladies.
I speak not to disprove what they speak,
But here I am to speak what I do know.
You all did love and hope for him once, not without cause:
What cause withholds you then to condemn and shun him now?
O judgement! thou art fled to fearful female breasts,
And Zang and Fitts have lost their Wits…. Bear with me;
My Generosity is in the Ether of the Blockchain there with Bitcoin,
And I must share it despite All Blocked Blockchain Fears
And Irrational International Monetary Misunderstandings!”
Bro Anthony 93, June 1, 2018
All right, look here Russians and other Multipolar People. The Internet of Money is up for grabs. If y’all pout and tremble in fear and loathing of that which you can’t understand 110% of before you stick one toe in the water, yeah Banksters win Crypto-Currency Wars and we are all chipped and slipped permanently into The Matrix.
But before defaulting by freezing up and turning to blocks of ice, watch this video and think this thing through! (And, my concluding remarks and analysis is NOT financial advice. It is POLITICAL advice.
Just 7 minutes of Thomas Lee, no fool or flake (Leary’s Concentration Span Limit, I Must Respect!
https://youtu.be/gsRBPTh3EpA
Now, forget Your Money.
Fact: Nobody Cares About Your Money But You. And your heirs. No one else will thank you for your astuteness.
But Something Bigger Than Heir Appreciation of You is at stake here, which every sentient human might want to care MORE about: Breaking Cabal Control….or getting chipped and handcuffed by Cabal Control.
And we all are constrained (like Lady Fitts and Lady Zang by the Physical domain and the Means of Exchange we are forced to use within that domain in order to avoid the excessive work and haggling of barter exchange. The currency currently in use is ALREADY controlled by the Cabal. What is there to lose by parking a little of it into exploring A Potential Escape From Cabal Control???
Would such a move be the cause of our downfall? NO!
Would failure to explore and test out potential alternatives to Cabal Control be the Cause of Our Downfall?? Most probably so!
Everything is a risk. Nothing is certain. But it is all about the RATIO of potential Political Reward….to very limited Risk.
And the bonus, for such an astute political chance, measured bet is potentially WHAT, according to this sober, sane, well qualified professional financial analyst Thomas Lee, within perhaps a few short years of mass BTC adoption???
Run the numbers. Do the math, like he does. Don’t react like a rigid sceptic loser nor a naïve one either. Calculate the odds. The political odds and payoff or loss. The educational (tuition in the School of Hard Knocks!) cost and potential Gain in Understanding…..Knowledge is POWER.
And last, AND LEAST……the personal finance upside…… or downside.
It’s tedious, and not that interesting in view of the larger civilizational stakes. But I will do the thankless work of breaking it down for the very few of you, that might want to, shall we say, “diversify” a little for yourself and your posterity. Because I know of no one but yourself that is likely to take that step for you. Do you??
Some things to consider, for odds calculation:
1. I heard (don’t know if it’s true…..) that of the world’s 8 billion persons, 3 million or 0.0375 % of the world’s total have ANY …..BTC by which I mean any cryptocurrency….because today you must go through either BTC or ETH from any fiat to obtain any of the other crypto “Alt-coins”….and back again through ETH or BTC for exchange for goods or services, unless you are paying in The Internet of Money (which will happen more, and more,as time goes by….).
At current TOTAL market cap of ALL cryptos …..$332 billion divided by 3 million persons, that’s an Average of $110,000 per cryptoholder. Maybe it’s more than 3 million persons involved, if that average account seems way to high. But not all accounts were acquired, on average for $110,000. The early ones could be more like $11,000 or $1,100 USD equivalent invested….but now up 10 to 100 times. I think it IS a possible current USD valued average, because quite a few early adopters are crypto-billionaires still, even after diversification into real estate and other things. But even if it is 30 million people and $11,000 average position what happens if 0.0375 % of the world’s population or even 0.375 % increases to 37.5 % in say 10 years???
That’s 1000 to 100 times upward price pressure. 1000 times $7500 per BTC = 7.5 million USD per BTC…….not so far off Mr Lee’s calculation. 100 times?? $750,000 per BTC.
1/10 BTC today for $750 might be one or the other, of either $750,000 or $75,000 by such calculations, or in between, in a number of years of mass adoption, from $750 of a currency that may not be all that long for this world, today: the US Petro-dollar being shunned and avoided ….even by some Americans, that Hate the FED.
What does mass BTC or Alt-Currency adoption depend on? Multipolar Political Leadership plus Individual and collective a) astuteness…… and b) will.
Based on a calculated Risk/Reward Ratio on the several levels outlined in this little mind limbering exercise inspired by Thomas Lee and Clay Albright of Carlsbad, California, who made the video.
If you are as poor as an Irish Church Mouse you possibly can’t engage in this little bit of Political Warfare Reconnaisance and Logistics Skirmishing. Like if deploying $750 AZ Empire Dollars (which may take a Huge Dump, SOON) would take food off your table and endanger your well being DON’T DO IT!! I beg you not to!
But last time I looked…… that $750 would get you 1/10 of a BTC and if you, say 10 milllion Russians (hard, but not impossible) or 10 million Chinese (easy!!!) were gradually (without exploding price, all at once) to each get 1/10 BTC for those expiring USD, what we have is an exchange of $7.5 billion June 1, 2018 USD for 1 million out of the currently circulating 17 billion Bitcoin.
And you could get an effect, with many others involved as well, from every country, where central banker plans of domination are simply overwhelmed by a mass consciousness that will not tolerate their continued control.
I’m sorry, but only an Unwitting Empire Agent or Dupe could oppose that sort of possible outcome, Dennis.
But you can’t be as personally or politically as dumb as the first commenter, Substation…. who says:
“Of coarse once hyperinflation sets in with the collapse of the dollar…that ten million will be worth very little.
A $100 billion dollar note was issued in Zimbabwe on 22 July 2008. At the time it was issued, it was enough to buy two loaves of bread or three eggs. Inflation in Zimbabwe has risen to at least two million percent since 1980, when Robert Mugabe took power.”
Substation can’t win for losing, personally OR politically.
Obviously, Mr Lee’s calculation of $10 million BTC is based on current value of the dollar, not after Weimar Style, Zimbabwe Style Hyperinflation.
After events of that sort, add multiple zeros to the end of Mr Lee’s analysis, Substation.
Meaning the USD and Dennis Leary’s pension would be Dead and Buried At THAT Point….but Sir Bitcoin (or son) might well be left alive and breathing. And STILL appreciating.
I know you’d dearly love to consign us all to The Lust Bin Of History with you……but like Fitts and Zang, we do need to eat and “keep the lights on”.
Most fake media outlets have dropped Banchenko reporting like a hot potato but one stalwart Canadian state funded propaganda vassal keeps the flow going -although it qualifies the report at the end by stating that proof is needed by July 9th.
Given that the average attention span is a couple of days at most and MSM typically has zero continuity on news, unless it is villifying Russia, no proof should be no problem.
Ukraine says it found Russian hit list targeting 47 people
http://www.cbc.ca/news/world/russia-hit-list-47-ukraine-journalists-arkady-babchenko-1.4688440
A piece of paper with 47 names on it? -such professional incompetence would be astounding, yes? As if!
However, can I add a few more names to that list please?
How was the list compiled? Does it consist of the journalists on the to-be-murdered list(s) that were drawn up by the Ukrainian fascists during the “anti-terror operation” in Donbass?
So outraged I forgot the link:

Thinking at Night
It is I think too soon to look back and say “world war three began on…”. It does not matter yet.
But we seem to be close to the time to say it’s underway.
It’s still building, but as an amateur historian (how silly a term!)…anyway as an old man who’s seen a bit, I say 2014 at Kiev is going to be what they decide. In the beginning they’ll say later, in Syria 2018 or 19, but in time I say it’s going to be 2014…
Right now skirmish is giving way to the heavy complicated stuff… The outcome?
NYD (not yet determined) But it looks like Ru is going to prevail…
People speak of Africa…but I think about north america…and recall the actual functional relations between NA and R… R prevented England from changing the outcome of US civil war…why?
I expect similar again…similar reason. Necessity.
Ru, and “Russians” everywhere will prevail. There appears to be consensus that Empire has passed the tipping point. Why will Ru prevail? Every story since time immemorial tells us so. And of course, necessity is the mother of invention, genius, creativity…
I ought to have written “directly changing outcome”… The hit on Lincoln prevented the repatriation and or expulsion of Negros, permitted and assured Southern strife and exploited racism… The trace from Albion to Booth’s gun and hand and the entire hit is easy to discover even now. Today they mostly use zionism and so forth in similar strategy…however zionism has an energy of it’s own…and they got gadgets so I ask myself who is running whom… Like Golum, monster runs amuck and magic words to stop are forgotten.
“Like Golum, monster runs amuck and magic words to stop are forgotten,”
I still remember ‘the bright days of the monster’, anybody it seems has forgotten what it was …

Apocalypse depicted in Christian Orthodox traditional fresco scenes in Osogovo Monastery, Republic of Macedonia
St. John at Patmos: the receiving of an apocalyptic vision
An apocalypse (Ancient Greek: ἀποκάλυψις apokálypsis, from ἀπό and καλύπτω, literally meaning “an uncovering”[1]) is a disclosure of knowledge or revelation.”
And in an apocalypse the dragon of the everlasting demonic angels is loosing every day
while new innocence is cleaning the planet conceding to every place it’s respected interest
And the dragon puffs it’s poison every day above the planet
and the ‘child’ is eraptured with it’s mother in the dessert
and the saviour is within the belly of the monster waiting to cut free
all this is told as ‘vision’ about ‘apocalypse’ while the ‘new child and it’s mother’
= the future,= is invisible
by no one but feeling heart

The sense I have is, spooky as it is, Comrade P is becoming the next Byzantine Emperor. History never repeats, it rhymes, so he’ll have a very different scene, but in actuality that’s where the guy’s goin, ain’t he? Some other people seem to think so too. Seems a little crazy? Yeah, but stuff happens… When you read deeply in old history you see stuff like this in legend and myth… I think he probably is. Nutty, I know… And the guy’s spooky too. Well, he was a spook…but I mean mystically spooky. Like “how come you ain’t dead” – like the Commandante en el Cuba – seems supernatural that he’s even alive. Bless him.
What time we live in…
“New innocence is cleaning the planet conceding to every place its respected interest.”
This reminds of something Carlos Santana said to a friend who had the fortune of meeting him while a young musician. His question was, “What is the secret of music?”
Carlos’ reply was, “Finding the right note.” Musicians will know that no note exists in isolation and that it serves as part of a series of notes, or melodies. The right note leads to and implies the next note.
As long as we stay in that continuum – from moment to moment, we have the secret of ‘new innocence’. If we get caught up in the “Halls of Los” to use Blake’s term, ie; scanning and bringing memory alive with our attention ( or perhaps unduly lost in daydream, in vague imaginings of what ‘could be’ ) we have the secret of the feeling heart, as you put it. Which leads us ( into the next perfect moment ). Which is us.
Apocalypse and Golum are inextricably bound together, like mountaineers tied at the waist. And like Golum, the ‘higher’ they go, the greater the fall into that inevitably hot cauldron. Once again, I’ll reference Blake’s definition of the “Last Judgement”, he felt it was exactly this thing of one’s karma being meted out in smaller doses, ie; every day, as opposed to some ( external ) event occurring somewhere at some fated yet to be determined date.
Thanks for referencing Osogovo Monastery, here’s the link for anyone interested; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Osogovo_Monastery Pozdrav, D.
My fourth paragraph, second sentence should’ve read;
” If we get caught up in the “Halls of Los” to use Blake’s term, ie; scanning and bringing memory alive with our attention ( or perhaps unduly lost in daydream, and/or vague imaginings of what ‘could be’ ) the secret of the feeling heart is lost to us. This moment is perfect and leads us into the next perfect moment. That is, we go where our attention goes. New innocence is that perfect receptivity to the randomness of this moment. And the ability to go with it.

A counterpoint to Pepe’s OBOR cheerleading, at least worth a read:
https://www.lewrockwell.com/lrc-blog/china-will-fail/
So far I have not read any of Israel Shamir’s books. This morning I used Amazon’s look inside function on one of his books and was serendipitously directed to a passage where he traces the fall of Constantinople to societal Flux.
There is a lot to think about here. What I think is that in the short run, an entrepreneurial-friendly enviroment gives a society an advantage, but not in the long run. Socialism doesn’t work; antisocialism doesn’t work either: we are travelers in a strange land — this is my worldview expressed in a slogan.
Every vineyard cafe needs a Bro 93. If you don’t mind my saying so, Bro acts as a canary in a mine, or as theology might say: a “via negativa.” We’re all going to eventually make to the Land of True Care, but the writing on the cafe wall says: “Beware, the straight and narrow way is not the long way ’round.” Ever since Bro switched cafe tables, the lights have dimmed and there are strange cryptic shadows hovering in the air.
Since the empire controls the prison grid, it also controls any new monetary development; no one messes with mob money unless they are authorized as agents of distraction–in fact, secure sources admit that the empire creates monetary newbies in the first place. The empire always signals its intentions, as a kind of inside joke and code for its wardens and warriors. To ferret out all this misdirection requires a clear and consistent epistemology, which in turn needs a fair standard of truth, which only love can provide. I follow the Love Army flag and its Ten Commandments of Love, and am gifted with a deep feeling of security when I measure up to its high bar of performance.
Look to the language to discover the culture behind it. Bro looks to cryptos as mankind’s new hope for salvation and redemption. Cryptos, yes, crypt is the operative word. Crypt. Think of it. Feel it, and feel the empire’s breath suffusing it. A crypt is for the dead. A crypt is designed to hide and keep hidden. The empire hides its iron fist in a velvet glove. That’s cryptic. Cryptic cryptos are linked to “block-chains,” blocks and chains. Can you feel the emotional hooks behind the language, or has your mind already been numbed, dumbed and drummed to death by imperial propaganda? Then there’s bitcoin fakery since there are no coins, or if there are, a coin is worth less than two bits, a quarter of a coin, as in America, a quarter of a dollar. The tomfoolery behind this scam is nothing less than fool’s gold, all glitz and glitter. And yes, I did watch the short video of the last lackey you linked to, who lacks a deep sense of justice and care; although smart enough to ride the latest get rich fad, for which I’m not that easily had.
Do I care if I’m paid in dollars or bits? Not a bit. Unless the boys cut off my well-earned retirement pensions entirely; then I might die from starvation, as did my Irish ancestors at the hands of two-bit Brits, but I’ll pass over with a smile wide as a country mile because The Lover will be my “Swing Low, Sweet Chariot” driver. As I said, much depends on one’s sources, mediated by epistemology–how do I know?, which reduces to who do I know? If you want to know the new priestly class of crypto two bit scammers, well, welcome to your stocks, bonds, blocks and chains of the new “use-you-ry” usury.
It’s the same old “fiat” fantasy of “let it be done,” now covered over with an appearance of freedom from empire at last; just what the empire has always done, is doing now and will always do, as empires do. When I read these poseurs, I feel smothered by words, like with the priests of old, with their abstract and absolute dogmas, based on nothing but bad trust.
In our original Love Culture, there was no need for money at all. We lived in small communities where everyone knew everyone else intimately, sexually as appropriate and trustingly, if a person was trustworthy, which would be abundantly clear when there was no place to hide. There were no crypts either: the bodies of the dead were honored with jubilant ceremonies of passage, and then left out in the open for buzzards and scavengers to do their natural thing, while the spirit person continued to linger on with her lovers in the flesh.
Don’t misunderstand. Bro is a force to reckoned with: he could be right and I could be wrong, but I’m shooting for the land beyond right and wrong, and I believe, so is he. Before getting sidetracked by the empire’s obor gravy train, and then by the imperial obor-like ticket masters with their world-spanning grid built for ramblers, gamblers and terrorist scammers, he spoke much of “true care.” I take it as an object lesson of “true beware” of the wares of two bit gamblers on the gullible bubbles of money masters and their manipulations. “Time will tell who has won and who has fell, and who’s been left behind, when you go your way and I go mine.”
“All is fair in love and war,” and from what I hear, there’s a war for our souls going on; if so, I’ve got to go all the way in love, just to be fair. Bless you, Bro. You make my day every other day. Well, I’ve had my say in this all-day cafe. I await with bated breath what you may have to say, unless you are clean out of words, and if that ever happens, I’ll rue the day for lack of a worthy raconteur.
Love, Dennis, from sunny Ojai and sometimes sunny Tomah, lands of Indian Maiden and Menominee Chief.
“I await with bated breath”
You should go out and enjoy the Sun instead, Bro will always be too busy jumping off the unknown Putin bandwagon, or, back on again or attempting to join his billionaire idols bit by bit or by hook or by crook.
“then I might die from starvation, as did my Irish ancestors at the hands of two-bit Brits”
With a foot in both camps I like to keep an eye on the real problem
Quote
‘The Famine is the fault of the British’ is one of those lines of history, like ‘The Civil War was fought to free the slaves.’
One liners which have become immortal but fail miserably to explain the complex web of Social issues, Economic issues and Environmental issues which drive history.
If the British Landlords were responsible for the terrible death toll, then Irish Landlords must be equally to blame. Remember that farming in the British Isles became depressed after the end of the Napoleonic wars. These ‘rich’ British landlords were for the most part in debt up to their eyebrows. They were land rich cash poor and relied on their rents to pay the banks and their employees. Many went bust and there land was taken over by the small but growing Irish catholic middle class. The irish landlords were equally dependent on rents. And their response to the famine was just as mixed as the Anglo Irish response.
I just can’t see a situation where the famine didn’t happen. Even if Ireland was ruled by her own native aristocracy, we only have to look to the Highlands clearances to how our clan leaders might have reacted to the famine.
I would also like to point out that the 1845 -50 famine was the longest of five famines that occurred in the 1800’s. And people continued to die of malnutrition well into independence, during the 20’s and 30’s.

None of this would have happened in the original Love Culture you describe.
“There is no doubt the FBI kept getting ‘snowflakes’ in spring 2016 pointing toward Russia and Trump, and the bridges to the case … clearly were built in London,” a U.S. official with direct knowledge of the investigation said.
The question is whether those bridges, as the rhyme goes, come falling down when more facts surface.”
So says contributing journalist John Solomon in The Hill, in this article:
http://thehill.com/opinion/white-house/390228-london-bridges-falling-down-curious-origins-of-fbis-trump-russia-probe
Well those London Bridges should have fallen done decades earlier if not for dumb Americans zombified by MSM and all kinds of New Age cult nonsense spun out of the Tavistock Institute.
There is change. But there is also entrenched solipsistic stubborness and strategic incompetence. Plenty of work left to do.
Adam Garrie on Haley:
“Unlike Trump who is the establishment’s anti-establishment playboy rogue, Haley is the face of the front-line establishment. This is the reason why so many in Washington will be pushing for an early Trump retirement and a Haley run for the Presidency. ”
“Because of this, Haley is far more dangerous than either Kissinger or Brzezinski because while the ideas of Kissinger and Brzezinski represented the signposts of the direction in which the American foreign policy establishment were heading, Haley represents a one-woman encapsulation of the establishment itself: calculating in its capriciousness, dignified by its own supreme arrogance, proud of its own intellectual and ethical shortcomings, filled with grandiose grievances over petty personal minutiae and an ignominious arrogance that brings disgrace upon the institution most representative of international law.”

Garries probably correct.
I bet that some people really do not like her a lot… That was, they say, the case with poor JFK…

Logical fallacies and affectionate name calling aside, thanks for the Interesting discussion as well as poetry re: bitcoin. I own a very little bit but it does not own me ( there is a new addiction for treatment I hear for cryptomania but one “hears” a lot these days.)
Ever since I had a friend who bought Apple stock in the 1990’s, stuck with it and is now a multimillionaire, I resolved to at least put a humble bet on the table of all future paradyme-breaking manifestations while dedicating any success to the #1 item on my bucket list : a visit to St. Petersburg and the Hermitage and maybe, depending on how much my wasted dollars will stretch, a visit to the Icon museum in Moscow which was set up by an oligarch who at least did something creative and beautiful with his wealth.
It does get down to the personal always. And the language and paradyme ( or eyes through which you see) do so matter. For example: my next door neighbor is possessed by a demon of rage and hatred stemming from an unloved childhood which has its separate, sly intelligence and, unbeknown to her, really wants her dead. But when I mentioned that to a scientific paradyme thinker, there was a long silence and then a hasty correction—“You mean she is mentally ill and needs an adjustment of her meds.”
“Yes,” I said abruptly. And the conversation flowed elsewhere.
Then, my best friend saw Dostoevsky on my kitchen table which is heaped high with books.
” How can you stand to read this stuff”, she said poking her finger disdainfully moving the book aside.
“Because,” I replied, “he writes in a moral universe and I feel overwhelmed living in an immoral, amoral America–plus his characters are universal and the situations true. Besides, he gives me hope.”
As for his depiction of the confused cell meeting in The Demons? I’ve sat through similar long ago although not quite as absurd. And the virtue signalling petty provincial upper class ladies putting on a fund raiser for poor but deserving governesses seem very familiar. The chaotic and unfunny humor is similar to what the Democratic Coup Machine seems bent on inflicted on us all as “culture”. The unbalanced females paired with weak and equally unbalanced males. And the sexual predators and the power predators preying on the vanities, attachments and ignorance of their victims.? Ah and the pedophile…lowest of low but not irredeemable if??? the big If.
Again, there Dost. has it down pat: .Pedophiles never Feel they have done anything wrong, but they can admit on a mental level that they might have caused distress by their actions but they even quibble about how much.
It’s a crack in the door but they have to open it with humility and a plea for forgiveness.
As for why this main character is unable to do so? Ah, now that is shown in the very first pages of the novel with his cold, resentful mother vowing, “I will never forgive you” to her child-like male companion who happens to be the father of the main demon of the story. Rich, petty, mean.

Armchair Cafe Theology (ACT) Part 30B
I have been following our personal chronological development of twelve stages of discovery and recovery, from Conception to Reception and second birth into our greater family of lovers. This step by step progression is multi-dimensional, physical, emotional, mental and soulful, inter-penetrating each with all. I have spoken of the first three stages of conception, womb and birth; and now address the breast and nursing stage, which some psychologists call the oral stage.
It is part of theology because it is an expression of love, which concerns God as Lover, suggesting that, yes, God can develop; in fact, must change if he and we are one, as Christian theology teaches. In this endeavor we reach for the stars; nothing less will do if religion itself is to be reborn as that shining city on the hill. It’s an agonizing and ecstatic journey of experiencing life to its fullest.
The development of an individual person-soul is more important than all the so-called economic and military development ever paid for by countries and corporations combined. As Jesus put it: “What does it profit a man if he gain the whole world but lose his soul?” We come into this world to prove our lover-ship by knowing what is really going on in this world. All knowledge starts and stops with ourselves, and yes, there are others out there who are like ourselves but not identical; for we each are universes in ourselves. We project that out onto an almighty God; hence theology.
The fourth stage concerns the breast and nursing, after conception, womb and birth. I caught our son in our home-birth, and immediately put him to his mother’s breast. That did not happen with me, and now I have to overcome my fixation at that stage. The female breast was designed for the sake of a healthy baby, true, but that is not its prime purpose. Most higher animals have undeveloped breasts without the human fatty tissue, which makes women so attractive and “outstanding,” an attribute that endures as an idea in art, long after the sagging and nagging cormorant of time moves us willy-nilly along a scale of more rarified values.
A womam’s breasts augment her role as lover before mother; she is a lover first and then sometimes a mother. Her breasts are for pleasure and ecstatic communion with lovers within and beyond space, time and ability to number. In patriarchal theological terms, Jesus said: “Do this in remembrance of me.” He referred to eating his body and drinking his blood-(water), the sexual substrate for theology to follow.
There is no denying that a young woman’s body, breasts, vulva and all, are the most attractive and beautiful phenomenon ever to be seen or contemplated in our visible and known universe. This is obvious by any passing acquaintance with our culture, despite its severe repressions and perverse expressions of sexuality; and also in the obverse of fully clothed and veiled women, whose eyes are windows to their all attractive bodies and souls.
So what can I do now, mired as I am in a fallen culture’s mud and blood? The same as with the other preceding stages of conception, womb and birth: go back and heal the past with love, in a 4D move “back to the future.” It can be done but we have to stretch out our hand and clasp the strong arm of a Love Army man or womam (or whatever else you want to nominate it). If we are up to it, we can once again rest on our mother-lover’s breast, and be nourished with “milk and honey” in a promised land of love.
The fifth step concerns elimination; since what goes in must come out in some form or other. In the gross jargon of psychologists it’s called the anal stage, one of controlled pleasure, if not fixated by anxious and prurient caretakers or parents. If we are eating a sane diet of fruit and vegetables, bowel movements should still be pleasurable and healthy events. If we are still meat-eaters and egg and dairy stealers, well, we’re just asking for trouble down there, not to mention karmic blowback from slaughterhouse and hen-pen victims–such animals do take their revenge.
In an analogous way, we also have to continually “eliminate” toxins from our emotions, fantasies, dreams, minds, wills and souls; if we want to avoid corporal and cosmic constipation, and blocked up energy currents. In other words, the area of our bodies where “the sun seldom shines” is vital to a healthy development. No wonder the Love Army’s second division, right after the first one of “think love,” is about diet, according to the wisdom of “We are what we eat and drink.” Let that sink into our gut feeling repertoire of emotional intelligence.
The sixth stage is in the same general area as the preceding, but a bit more forward and higher with the secondary sex characteristics thrown in for good measure. Our helpful psychologists again help us with our stuttering language: a la the “genital” stage. Here again, if we were left to our own devices in the ways of nature, there would be no problem; but all to often masturbation is a bad word for earlier and later stages, with nervous parents fearful of what the neighbors would think of them, if they only knew.
When you get to my age of 78, life not only becomes really great, but the great ones, some scientific psychiatrists with their self-help books, recommend elders clear the plumbing with at least bi-monthly self-service, or other-service if available. Whether or not I heed their sage advice shall remain a secret with me that I will take to the grave with my body. So there you have it: a triptych of oral, anal and genital growth after the basic three of conception, womb and birth. Need I say again that all these six stages can be healed, balanced and integrated into the higher ones to follow; if, and if, we use our heads and hearts before the finale curtain call on this potentially game-changing life, where one individual can make a difference for our beloved vineyard cafe’s mission impossible?

“heads and hearts” the essence.

Chipping in on the bit coin mine with thoughts of mine …
I think the crypto craze is about a shift of consciousness and a window of opportunity for mankind, and naturally goes hand in hand with the intentions of evil, as great minds think alike, but evil minds think even more alike. That is the point here, to wake up and recognize what is at stake, what is happening, it is after all, our planet !
What has value, worth, wealth, abundance, call it what you like, has a spiritual source.
As written by the old man Tolstoy before his death, and looking way into the future :
“How ridiculous to think that matter could be the most comprehensible concept and the basis of everything, while it is only a means of communication for the spiritual source, which is divided within itself. (So I wrote it at first.) I should add that matter, along with movement, is only a means of communication for the spiritual source, which is divided within itself.” (June 26th, 1910)
Therefore what divides, endlessly divides is highly desirable “booty” for the evil minds, especially with the possibility to endlessly cram and compartmentize, the “space savers” of the FedEx flat packs Acacia mentioned.
Time is not money, time does not exist on earth, it is the method only, used to measure, to rationalize.
But the spiritual lives outside of matter, and there is a window open for a brief span, of the earth’s true wealth source, available for all people on earth, and that could be reflected in monetary transaction.
The minds of the many, the evil minds, will bust their guts to get hold of the reins first . . .
I don’t recall if it was in the 18th or 19th century that Mayer Amschell Rothschild stated (I paraphrase) “I care not the government; allow me to issue the currency and it is I that will determine the destiny of the people”.
Always follow the money. “Capital” is profit from production. “Money/Currency should represent “capital”. If “money” is created by fiat by an entity that gives the government a cut of the action……………? Gold is money and capital.
It is said that a theory or “ideology” held by observer limits what the observer can see. This seems to be true, and if it is true, then the principle is yet another reason to hold that Conflict and Life are a couplet in Time.
What sort of Conflict might arise from this way of “knowing”, which is by nature incomplete? As they say, examples abound…
Here’s one biggie… From the past of course, as we can know neither now nor future, only sorta bits of past in muddle…

Anonymous replied to my post concerning Ireland and the Brits. He correctly pointed out that the famine was more complicated than just blaming it on the Brits. That’s true but it does not exonerate the Brits either. If we push the envelope of evil back further in time, we can blame Christianity for destroying the native pagan culture, which I doubt caused famines like the British did with their enclosure laws and window taxes. Back further, we meet the evil genius of a patriarchy with its persecution of women, and decimation of their love culture. Further back in time, we come to the diamond in the rough, the Love Culture which I’ve described often enough, not to repeat it here. But that’s still not the end of the story; eternal lovers created all that is, for the glory of love; necessarily allowing for evil to test our metal, bringing us full circle to the Bloody Brits, and all the other evil ones that the shoe of evil fits.
The other matter I need to get off my shoulders is my possible nemesis, Donald Trump. Why do I like him, despite his obviously evil character? Is he telling me that I’m just as evil deep down; and probably much worse, since I cover it all with the patina of Mr. Nice Guy (except here in the safety of tolerant cafe, protected by a virtual shield and anonymity if I want). Do I like DT because he has good qualities like defeating the Clinton machine, taking heat from all sides, enduring blame for the coming take down of the US and then likely the Hero for the rebirth of MAGA America, in this unending cycle of “divide and conquer,” boom and bust, spring forward and fall back, death and resurrection and return of the Cold War and Bi-polar world after China implodes?
Do I like Trump because he’s a Christ figure of death and resurrection, of going to hell and coming back, of meeting Satan and making him blink; which gives me hope that no matter how bad I am, God loves me, since God = LOve in John’s formula? If I were not such a coward, I might be brave enough to take on my shoulders the cross that Donald is fastened to. In any event, I feel better for expressing rather than repressing, even though I feel anxiety for speaking out when I should be holding my tongue, and not embarrassing myself like a fool.
I don’t know. Right now I am influenced by Brendon O’Connell’s videos and the writings of Miles Mathis; so what am I anyway–a hodgepodge of other people? If I were not “all in” with love, I’d have no center by which to sort it out; mass confusion in other words, no doubt fostered by the empire of dirty tricks. I think Jesus was called a “sign of contradiction,” or something like that. That’s how I see DT and DL, if the truth be told. There, I’ve said it; I may regret it; want to forget it, but pray Love, I don’t fret it.
Love, Dennis
” necessarily allowing for evil to test our metal, bringing us full circle to the Bloody Brits, and all the other evil ones that the shoe of evil fits.”
The, er, Bloody Brits eh?
Britain, although a small island, actually has 3 peoples on it. A few Gaels left in the windswept far north Isles north of the Big Island, Britain, called Scots. We Celts – I am one – in the highlands of the West, all that was left to us after invasion by the Franco/Gauls/Saxons now called the English.
I’m not sure which of us are the “Bloody Brits”.
I suspect it’s the English, who invaded even our beautiful sacred land, for the foul black muck called coal with which they decimated our green valleys in order to build their Industrial Revolution.
In my country, Wales, we are still the only country in the world which requires the Parliament to be 50:50 men and women.
Which one of us is a “Bloody Brit” Mr. Leary??.
How curious, you seem to think I am one. We have never invaded anywhere, nor genocided anyone, although the only Prime Minister we sent to London [it was a Welsh fortification before the foreigners came] was the best Socialist and honourable PM they ever had down there.
Perhaps before you spit on “Bloody Brits” you should clarify exactly whom it is you are speaking of.
Thanks for your reply. By “Bloody Brits,” I was speaking from the Ireland point of view. Some claim Cromwell afflicted genocide upon the Irish, and most would at least admit semi-genocide. If I take a broader view of the British, and especially the Zio Brits, most would say they created the state of Israel, and therefore the Palestinian massacre; not to mention their colonization of native peoples. Miles Mathis details how Zionists have infiltrated the British peerage for many hundreds of years. The bloody Brits have much blood on their hands, in the creation and maintenance of Empire, and have been behind most of the modern world wars. The City of London is run by the Rothschilds and their ilk. Now they are taking steps to rebuild their empire and weaken the US. Of course, the Brits are not the only ones, and Wales may be the exception that proves the rule. You distinguish English from British; I am not knowledgeable about that, which you would know more about. You know the particulars, living where you do; I live far away and am speaking in generalities, which may not be fair. I am not privy to the intricacies of politics relative to England, Britain, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. My apologies for overstepping lines that only you can see. I enjoy your contributions.
Dennis,
You wrote ‘ Now they are taking steps to rebuild their empire and weaken the US.’
As a Brit at the sharp end, I can assure you that what you see is actually us drowning, not waving, and certainly not rebuilding anything.
“which I doubt caused famines like the British did with their enclosure laws”
The vast majority, if not all, of enclosure legislation was enacted by the Parliament in Dublin prior the Act of Union in 1800. Although It can easily be argued that the legislature was owned by the Planters, they were, by then, Irish (whether they liked it or not).
The enclosure laws in Great Britain were as repugnant to the poor of that land as they were to the poor in Ireland.
As I replied to Isabella, I do not know the particulars of English history but speak from generalities I have heard in the public domain. I would think, perhaps wrongly, that prior to 1800, a Dublin Parliament would have been ruled by Anglo-Irish, and how an Irish parliament relates to the one in mainland England escapes me. Thanks for the information.

“This is an example of “Kremlin’s Agent and stirring up elections””
https://colonelcassad.livejournal.com/4232296.html
Claudio is definitely a man I would vote for.
Political leader Matteo Salvini is the subject of the Colonel;Cassad article, not journalist D’amico.
Okay there is something I do not get here. Under the first picture he shows the guy and says:
“Новый министр МВД Италии и заместитель премьер-министра Италии Маттео Сальвини.”
The same guy (from the first picture) in 14th picture sits behind name tag saying “Claudio D’Amico” and the lady sits behind a tag “Маттео Сальвини”. Since when a lady is called Matteo, does it mean she represents Matteo?
So, either I am not getting it or Cassad needs to get his info better organized.
Who is the guy on the pictures, the journalist as you are saying or the just elected minister?
OK, I decided to download couple of pictures and look at their file names. Well, file names do say Salvini, so I got the name wrong, but the rest stands. My apologies.
