How does one trap a selkie? By stealing it’s skin. How does a selkie find it’s freedom? By finding it.
“The Selkie”
he said in time
my heart would heal,
that all I loved
was never real,
how wrong he was
I long concealed –
my love awaits
at dawn unkeel’d!
seven years since
that scalding net,
my skin he swore
I never would get,
by morning arrears
will all have been met –
my lover awaits
at dawn’s onset!
soon I will shed
these aching feet,
stumbling through
the mud and peat,
these legs men like
well under the pleat –
tomorrow my love
will be replete!
of three fat babies
I did beget,
the youngest would
her mother abett,
their father’s pride
those halflings wet –
my lover awaits
out by the gillnets!
he said in time
my heart would heal,
that all I loved
would become surreal,
how wrong he was
I’ve long concealed –
my love awaits
at dawn unkeel’d!
seven years since
that scalding net,
my skin he swore
I never would get,
by morning his fears
will all have been met –
my lover awaits
at dawn’s onset!
“Selkies” or seal folk, are mythological beings capable of changing from seal to human shape. Selkies, or silkies, are recounted in Scottish folklore as well as other cultures, such as Faroese or Icelandic. A typical folktale is that of a man who steals a female selkie’s skin, finds her naked on the seashore and compells her to become his wife. Never is she happy, longing for her true home, but once she discovers her skin, she immediately returns to her home, abandoning the children she loved. Sometimes, one of her children knows of the whereabouts of the skin, and is thus instrumental in securing her mother’s freedom. Often, there is a ‘betrothed’ waiting…
“keel” the covering put over the heads of falcons and hawks
“Gillnet” a type of fishnet placed vertically in the water, catching fish by their gills.

Hi Jacques. Have signed. Thanks for the link, and welcome.
Thanks, much appreciated!
Was told French bees are wearing yellow… vests and gaz masks as well, along with the not so… ‘Happyculteurs’…
Bon… j’ai signé.
Thanks! Just signed and sent it from the rural Ozark hills in the U.S. State of Missouri. The honey bee population in the U.S. is in rapid decline but few know or care. The best to you Jac!
Thanks!
One of the world’s best and certainly most interesting beekeepers is from the US. His name is Michael Bush, check him out:

A Life you couldn’t… Love
Life begins when you’re… One
He who binds to himself a joy
Does the winged life destroy.
He who kisses the joy as it flies
Lives in eternity’s sunrise…
William ‘someone or other’.
Beautiful indeed, eternal lines… flying over-time.
Has William never aimed (‘aimé’) for a… meditative French kiss, contemplating Sunset?
Good humour… is the nearest to ‘Amour’.
May Thy Will be done.
I’m sure he has, though I’ll have to wait till I have a little time ( to do the hunt ) and will save it for a future Cafe. He lived a frugal, if not destitute, life, never achieving any recognition from his so-called peers of the day. Now was he able to win the woman he loved. I believe the lines; “Curse my stars to bitter woe, that made my love so high and me so low…” expressed this bitter disappointment. However, his eventual wife, the plain Catherine, was a faithful and devoted wife supporting him until the end. These disappointments, in love and profession, would have contributed to who he became, and no doubt fuelled his work. Thats the irony which we need to consider in our own lives. “How do you make God laugh? Tell him your plans…” as the saying goes.
Here’s another “Sunset Song”, however, from another brilliant ‘Englishman’…
Richard Thompson; “Sunset Song”; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=esbOi_tyFFc
Exactly… How would he know in any other way!
A couple weeks after purchasing Peter Ackroyd’s new release… ‘Blake’, back in Jan 1997, I traveled Australia Westward from Sydney to Perth on my own… Not really, with the book on the passenger front seat… leaving behind a trail of pages and traffic signs.
Crossing the Nullarbor right above the Great Aussie Bight… Patrick Bernhard (Canadian performer-composer) was floating through the car playing his ‘Solaris Universalis’. The only road has a stretch of 150 kms straight, horizon line moving slightly up and down…
At the time… decisions had to be made whether I wld pursue my business life or else. I had to know if the path of enlightenment was worth the cause in Kali Yuga… when the only way yet considered was to generate top $ to be integrated in social networks… etc… the dark side.
With my eyes fixed on the perfectly blue sky above, yet two cloud formations appeared on left and right, each in the shape a of knight holding a long spear. Riders on horseback ready for a bout… black cloud on the left… white one on the right, when they started to move towards one another.
The white knight destroyed the black… check mate. Back to blue sky again.
The truth in this extraordinary experience is the answer to any genuine seeker when oneness is willing to synchronise present, past and future in a singularity… no one could explain.
William the man… was well and truly… playing in the Aussie sky… with his magical compass.
Blake’s work continues to grow in power, because he dealt with man’s relationship to God. Authors, be they poets or whatever who don’t deal with the deeper subject matter, are swept away with the tides of time. Thanks for the personal story, what a beauty!
I love Peter Ackroyd’s The History of the English Imagination.
So I was messing around on the internet today, and ran into this interesting site. The site is run by a Shi’ite Muslim. So I found this series the person made on Wahhabisim. It documents the Wahhabi ideology and how it attained power in the ME. Talks about all the connections from Britain, US and Israel. It is from a muslim point of view, but I found it to be pretty complete and it doesn’t run to long. Most of the videos are 5-7 minutes long. I gathered them in order for you, so you wont have to look for them on the site. He’s about to start one on Zionism next. I feel this is a very important message for both the Muslim, and non Muslim world. Western exceptionalism, Zionism and Wahhabisim all feed of each other, so its our job to continue to expose these types of ideologies. I even put in the promo video. Hope you guys enjoy.
Oh and Happy Christmas to all those who commemorated the birth of the Messiah Jesus(as).

lol funny pic, he’s quickly reaching the same level as Ariel Sharon for me, and as a kid Sharon was the personification of the devil for me.
As a young Christian Zionist I shouted in joy as I sat in the U.S. Army reception station 6 June 1967. My fellow recruits and I cheered as we saw him in his tank turret heading to the Sinai. After a year in Cu Chi Vietnam at the headquarters of. The 25th Inf Division and a few years in Canada as a deserter, I turned against Sharon and Israel when he left the back gate of the S and S camp open for his friends to come in and massacre the Palestinians. He is one of Satan’s best friends. And his country seems to be one of that prince’s most holy areas along with the u.s.
I look forward to educating myself with the videos.
Yes the Sabra and Shatila massacre. Sharon has the blood of countless people on his hands. He was also the first one that encouraged all the illegal settlement building , which continues to this very day. I don’t like sending curses on the dead, because I believe in Hell, but he is one of those I send prayers against whenever he pops into my memory. He deserves whatever he’s going through at the moment. May he be cursed, and may all who followed in similar footsteps also be cursed.
I hope you enjoy the series. It does a good job of quickly piecing together the major events related to the Saudi/Wahhabi/Takfiri group. I wish it went a little more in depth on a few things, but I don’t think that was the purpose of the series, it was just to give the overall, larger view on this deviant movement. I hope you enjoy it, and also share it, so people know about this harmful cult. The US and other western countries use them to inflame the middle east, and also use them to portray Islam in the west, so they can continue their occupation in the ME. Very slick game they are running, so its of paramount importance that it gets exposed. Take care my friend.
At some point after the illegal invasion of Iraq, Dubya Dubya Bush snuck into Iraq on a secret visit to the troops he’d committed to the country.
I remember thinking at the time that something was wrong for as long as the President had to sneak in on an unannounced secret visit. We’d know when the Mission had really been accomplished when the President could visit Iraq on a regular, announced visit instead of having to be snuck in secretly.
Here we are almost in 2019, almost 16 years later, and the current President is still sneaking into Iraq to for a dog-n-pony photo op with the troops. Are we winning yet?
I don’t know, Howard, but we might be winning if we will even allow that possibility to enter our minds for two or three seconds at a time once every month or so……….. before rejecting it.
Let’s see where this Grand Jury to Investigate 9/11 goes…..So much other news that I just heard about it today…but if it has real teeth….it may be more significant than ALL the news of the Last Year 2018 put together:

Nothing wrong with having hope. It’s one of the good qualities, however you should put your hope in something that won’t break your trust. To misplace hope will do nothing but waste your time. To hope for answers from the same institutions that were the major factor in the tumult in current times, would be like looking for a sweet smelling perfume in a sewer.

I’m trying to find the article about russias military doctrine that talks about sending troops out with ammo and fuel and rotating them out after five days and only providing resources to front that have success. I’m not having success finding it myself, so could someone provide a link to it please.
You won’t find it because it’s not true in the Russian Army. It is sensible military doctrine to reinforce success, but not to starve a static front or a failure. One never knows, that static or ‘failure’ front may suddenly have an opportunity presented to it and it has to have the resources to take advantage of said opportunity.

I must be mistaking it for being on this site. It was a really coherent military doctrine referencing soviet era strategy. Contrasting western strategy that sends air support and artillery to every junior officer asking for it, and in soviet/russian strategy the higher commanders determine where support is sent based on successful fronts. It said soldiers only need ammo and fuel to fight and are rotated out, rested/feed and send back out again. Secret forward fuel lines were built during peacetime. It talked about if a regiment lost its “colours” it couldn’t be reconstituted. It talked about how the US’s cowboy/hollywood attitude towards a fight starting with fists was dangerous because the russians will go right to guns because why risk fighting with fists when your enemy might pull out a knife. And it said how if theres going to be a fight use them all, referring to nukes.
Long ago I knew a Red Army soldier (sadly long dead) who had marched and fought on the way into Europe. Apparently, these weren’t professional soldiers as we know them, they were conscripts taken from any walk of life, peremptorily trained, armed and put to work. They were also desperate times for the Red Army and the discipline was brutal, far beyond anything acceptable in peacetime to volunteers.
I would suggest that the article was referring, in part, to these earlier, more desperate times in an extremely harsh environment. Military science and the training and treatment of career soldiers may have moved on somewhat since those times, possibly because of those times and the less productive methods in use then.

In Bethlehem, I had a vivid experience of what Israel’s occupation feels like
https://www.middleeasteye.net/columns/bethlehem-i-had-vivid-experience-what-israels-occupation-feels-1350998439
“The real Bethlehem
Nothing could be further from the truth than the image of a sweet, untroubled Bethlehem as depicted in a carol originally created by the pious imagination of a Victorian Western-Christian. Generations of Christian children have been brought up on it, and its mythical power is such that few of them realise what or even where Bethlehem is.
A well-educated English friend I had known for years was recently surprised to learn that Bethlehem was located in Palestine. In her mind the town was more a legend than an actual place, and connected to Jews, if to anyone.
That idea is still widespread and has been instrumental in keeping Western-Christians disengaged from the real Bethlehem and unsupportive of its struggle for survival. The city I saw on a visit earlier this year was a travesty of the place the Christmas carol depicts and an indictment of Western Christianity’s abject failure to sustain one of its holiest shrines.
In today’s Bethlehem “dreamless sleep” is more like a nightmare, and the town can only “lie still” when Israel’s occupation ends.
Israel’s brutal vandalism
To date, and despite church delegations, papal visits, and public expressions of concern, nothing Christians have done has halted or reversed Israel’s destruction of a city so uniquely holy to Christendom. If they can do nothing to save Bethlehem, they can at least stop singing a carol that mocks its sad reality.”
Listen, God… not once in my life
Have I spoken with You, but today I wanted to greet You.
You know that from my childhood days I was always told,
That You do not exist. And I, a fool, believed it.
I never contemplated Your creation.
But tonight I gazed
Out of the crater that a grenade had blown,
At the starry sky that was above me.
I suddenly understood as I admired the twinkling,
How cruel a deception can be.
I do not know, O God, if You will give me Your hand,
But I will tell You, and You will understand me.
Isn’t it strange that amidst this horrible hell
The light was suddenly revealed to me and I beheld You?
Besides this I have nothing more to say,
Only that I am glad that I have seen You.
At midnight we are supposed to attack.
But I am not afraid—You are watching over us.
The signal. Well, I am supposed to start out.
It was good to be with You. I also want to say,
That as You know, the battle will be vicious,
And, perhaps I will be knocking at Your door tonight…
Although up to now I had not been Your friend,
Will you let me in when I come?
Well, it seems I’m weeping… my God, You see,
It has happened that I have beheld…
Farewell, my God, I am going, and am unlikely to return.
How strange it is, but now I do not fear death.

The biggest fear nations have today is another war, a big one, reading these lines we should remember the hand of the fate, for the nations and for the individuals. Thank you Chris k
Today we are witnessing highly controlled conflicts, which result in endless misery for countless people. The agents of the Negative Force – those we consider today’s “political elite” are simply “tools” – immature Souls that are quite happy to be a cog in the machinery, maintaining the status quo. All this for what? Essentially a full stomach. Eat, fornicate, be merry… all at your neighbour’s expense, we’ll deal with the karma later. The purpose of the Kali Yuga, or Iron Age, is to quicken the spiritual impulse in man. This in turn builds slowly, like a storm gathering on the horizon. Some victories are achieved and the condition of many improves by a notch or two. But our collective lot is not in God’s plan, IT is interested in one thing only, and that is to bring Soul home. The irony is that, once Soul has escaped the Lord of the Negative Worlds, It generally comes back to this planet or others in the “mest” universes; the worlds of matter, energy, space and time, to help It’s fellow Souls. These people are everywhere working quietly, usually in the background. There’s a mind-boggling thought in all of this. Soul is not complete without God, but nor is God complete w/out Soul. Figure that one out.
Interesting how a discussion on a simple thing get so fast and so far (Dimitar and One minion) making your noses red. In fact I enjoyed it. My thought on war is simple : one plays with fire until it gets wounded or worse. The accumulated negative energy will lead to explosion (war) or implosion (revolution). The humanity as a whole has accumulated again a lot of negative energy and that will lead inevitably to one of above mentioned outcomes, it is a self-projection in mass.Beside, there are well known Negative forces whom are evil doers by profession, having a great knowledge over the human behavior, on what are the weak points and strong points, exploiting the weak ones with a little “help”. Look at the two world wars and you have the formula for the next one. The “bad ones” are the tools, like the hammer in the hands of a smith.
I’m glad you enjoyed it, ioan, I did too, with no red nose this end. I am just up way past my bedtime and felt the urge to sleep arrive so acted on it. When I returned the reply button was gone, (that hand of fate again) probably a good thing all round, at this point.
‘Negative energy’ in people (singular) can dissipate over time, with care and application but crowds or masses, because of their collective nature, behave differently and generally require some form of public catharsis—war/rebellion or some similar upheaval. Its even studied as a subject, Crowd Psychology, and very interesting too if you like that kind of thing.
The entire liberal market of today is built on Crowd Psychology, large numbers of “experts” are employed by big corporations to that research and apply them in daily business. The same goes on in the media which employs large numbers of the same kind of “experts” who are serving both the business and politics. Nothing remains untouched, every corner of a society is very carefully scrutinized, analyzed and summarized. The more the things get global, the easier to form a calculation on the Matrix of the future.
No red nose at my end. I simply don’t need to engage w. people who can’t frame an idea or be honest about what the button is thats been pushed within them. Never once did he man up and say what was bothering him. I could care less about ‘debates’ of that nature, sorry.
Its a good poem but typifies how man is not interested in God until the chips are down. Thats why we have the Kali Yuga.
Possible imminent death has a way of focusing the mind like no other thing. Myself, I don’t think that we should focus on death at all when the chips are not down, we should enjoy life as if it would never end. I think the problem lies in the fact that in our western culture we are subtly encouraged to believe that we are immortal so never have to face the reality that all beings die, including the horrifying notion that we personally will cease to be as individuals ourselves (we stay stupid in fact).
Other cultures incorporate death as a fact of life. All children become aware of natural endings by around the age of 7, but western culture finds a thousand ways to distract from and deny exploring the notion. We are obsessed with safety (our own personal safety of course) conning ourselves that we can out-think or outwit death, that we are the exceptional ones who will avoid it.
If indeed we have a Kali Yuga, (a man-made concept since nature does not impose such divisions) it is from the lack of balance in our world view, inside our own heads, culturally implanted so hardly inevitable. It can be countered.
When I was a (admittedly quite strange) kid, I found great peace and solace in graveyards and would often go to sit in such places when I wanted to be alone. I remember wondering if it was the nearness of the church and thus ‘God’ that was the attraction, but later concluded that the presence of trees and untrammelled growth amongst the decay was the pull for me. I still do it now in times of stress that I can’t otherwise shift. A wild wood has the same effect for me, but that is often not quite so readily available.
There is a traditional story or fable that illustrates this and has been repeated in many cultures in various forms. Someone else asks about it here and it is generally known as ‘Appointment in Samara’ now but the theme appears repeatedly in many cultures:
https://www.librarything.com/topic/63372
Thanks for the reply, I always enjoy reading what you have to say, one minion.
I disagree re: Kali Yuga, because those are observations of cycles from nature herself, the prime one being our own rise into a height of strength, or noon, then the decline toward physical death etc. The seasons as they turn from the height of activity in summer, toward death at winter, then rebirth w. spring and so on, also perfectly illustrate the concept of cycles.
I don’t think we should be concerned with death in a morbid way, although we do need to come to an understanding of ourselves as an eternal being in a finite form. The nature of this life is such that it is overwhelming to our senses, and we tend to get lulled into a ( spiritually speaking ) sleep state. No society is concerned with man’s spiritual survival, thats up to us as individuals. Btw. we are capable of experiencing the Soul body in many ways. The best way I have found to experience ourselves as Soul is chanting the word HU, pronounced like the word hue. Its a very powerful tool mentioned in Rumi’s writings circa 13th C. as well as elsewhere. Hallejluhah is a corruption of this word, so you see, in some bygone age, we were aware of much that today is forgotten.
In Sydney, we have a cemetery, Rookwood, apparently its the largest in the southern hemisphere. Very old and sprawling, with beautiful ancient trees, glades etc. Glancing at some of the graves is an incredible experience, one gets a look into lives once lived.
Yes, observations, and who is doing the observing but one particular, fallible and conditioned view, filtered through aeons until it arrives on Sakers blog as a fact, or factoid. It is a belief, taken on trust, not an immutable fact of reality.
You mentioned ‘need’ also. That should be ‘want’ strictly speaking. According to the sages we have three directives that are needs ‘Feed thy belly, clothe thy body and sleep under a roof’ to ensure survival. The rest is optional.
My teacher never felt the need to interpret what ‘God’ might want as he was a show-not-tell type with immense trust in the world to do just that.
You are absolutely right of course, but then, how do we learn, if not observe? That which goes on within us, but also around us. The mind breaks things into boxes, but life in fact is one. As above so below.
“The rest is optional..” True. Problem is man does not live by bread alone. The best solution is a satisfied belly, a warm bed, roof over our head, as well as an active spiritual life.
“Showing” and “telling” are irrevocably bound, like climbers scaling a mountain. A true teacher will tailor his student’s unfoldment specifically to that individual’s needs. One may need telling, another showing. We usually need a little of both, because where we fail, is in the interpretation of our experiences, where the teacher will have a way of making the lesson stick.
Best, D.
‘Problem is man does not live by bread alone.’
But he can, if need be. The rest is optional.
‘One may need telling, another showing.’
There’s that superfluous word again.
One may want to be told, another may want to be shown and another might have no interest in the subject whatever.
Like me, as a child having Catholicism beaten into me because it was necessary for me to believe correctly?
Please, engage your brain before deciding what the world might need, derived from some random, long dead, feeble-minded human who dreams he is ‘god’, or god’s messenger here on earth.
There’s never yet been a shortage of those in any aeon so far.
Not sure what the problem is, one minion, but you seem to be berating me!? Actually worse, but that word will do. What for exactly? Nowhere have I belittled you, and if my perception is correct you’ve done so twice especially – especially – in your last post. I’ll overlook it this time, because the problem is obviously an internal one on your behalf, so I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt. I hope you’ll get to the point and stop beating around the bush.
I thought that this was a discussion/debate, a bit of harmless intellectual jousting to amuse ourselves and anyone bored enough(those smug dullards Bro hopes to recruit) to follow along?
So why are you suddenly casting aspersions on my internal problems? I am happy to list them myself for you but that would be unlikely to engage your brain in any fashion productive to yourself (or me), at this point. That is my point and I have finally got to it in (polite) words of one syllable at last.
I am happy to continue, aspersions and all. I can take it or leave it——you?
There’s nothing to continue, because I never “started anything” with you. The way I read it, you made a severe psychic attack on my character. I asked you to get to the point, but I got more of the same. Whatever your beef is, its an internal matter. Keep me out of it in the future.
Dear OM,
The key word here is … *genuine*… seeker.
When I sleep I happen to dream and when I am awake often I do meditate. At night when I am tired I rest and day time I work.
Overall I travel a lot.
Does it make me (or whatever is left of…) a dreamer?
Like you were… I was brought up as Catholic and what?
I just couldn’t chant the ‘Credo’… anymore heartfully.
Have I ever ever asked anything from God?
Awakening just happened… the only prayer I have ever known: “May Thy will be done”. Om. Amen.
Does the above fit the description of a feeble human mind?… Just because of some… many incredible experiences (singularities) and initiative dreams which I happened to be witness of?
Have I ever asked for those dreams?
Is it a legacy with any sign of wealth?
Any guidance received is always put in service to others… dispensed free of charge as many are weak personalities programmed to be slaves of their own minds.
Yes, for as long as there is some personal features still residing (in some trace of ego) and able to experience something, there will be some kind of experience felt within. What’s next?
To be a leader of lost souls… or teacher of any kind? Never… Lol… Too much hard work!!!
There is an infinity of messengers… if only they could realise their true status… or in full. Many more are fake ‘messengers’ only interested in cashing in.
Dear KP,
No status, genuine or false.
Those are all just words to describe values that are themselves amorphous and subject to change and re-interpretation over time. Not to mention being co-opted by conmen and used to snare the unwary or feeble minded. (Feeble-minded incidentally, refers specifically to the long dead dreamers mentioned above, as a close reading would have made clear)
I could continue but I guess that your experience is precious to you and I would not want to mess with that for that reason. However, I am happy to go on if you are.
Just human beings here.
No woo.

All Not So Quiet On Any Front
High Alert Lest Tactical Error Becomes Strategic Disaster
(My Spin on the World)
LPAC’s:
“Yesterday President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania were in Iraq, visiting U.S. troops in Mosul. This unannounced trip comes amidst the lunatic reactions against Trump’s historic announcement last week of intent to pull U.S. forces out of Syria—a break with the British Empire policy of “forever wars.” Further, Trump has commissioned his military staff to draw up optional plans for an exodus of U.S. troops from Afghanistan. Trump’s actions and some other current events show great promise for the future, but at the same time great danger persists, and no one dare be complacent.
On Dec. 25, just days after Trump had made his announcement to pull out of Syria, six Israeli F-16 fighter planes launched missiles on Damascus-area targets, claiming Iranian military presence. The foray was done through Lebanon airspace, with the Israeli jets using the cover of two civilian passenger airliners (not Russian), which were on flight paths for airports in Beirut and Damascus. Recall that in September, a similar Israeli raid, using commercial flight paths as cover, resulted in a Russian transport plane being shot down accidentally by Syrian anti-aircraft fire. Because of this, Syrian anti-missile defenses and electronics had to be limited, to avoid endangering lives, resulting in some of the Israeli missiles hitting the Damascus targets. Lebanon has condemned the Israeli action, and is preparing an appeal to the U.N. Security Council. The Russian Foreign Ministry has issued a statement of grave concern about Israel’s action.
This incident shows that the strategic situation remains very volatile…….”

What break with the British Empire policy of “forever war” are you talking about?
https://www.rt.com/op-ed/447534-trump-iraq-syria-troops/
Bro,
‘Forever wars’ is the policy of any empire, including the current US version. It is the only way of maintaining any empire, so it is baked into the definition. The ludicrously named ‘Pax Americana’ is no different, no matter how exceptional it tells itself it is.
Study a few other empires, there is no lack of them in our collective history, and you might begin to see a pattern there. All empires crumble also and the rot always starts from within, prompted usually by the notion that this time it will be different, because ‘we’ (the empire builders) are different and special, that ‘we’ have cracked it finally and beaten nature with her immutable laws. Thousand year Reich, anyone?

What did they do to the moon, Ma?
During childhood I learned and also observed what a full moon and a new moon must look like and also that a waning moon becomes thin at the right side while a waxing moon does it at the left side.
However, right now, when I look out of their windows here, during the end of the year just a flight hour south from home, what I see is a waning moon with the missing part not on one side, but above it! Is this something they do just here for us tourists? Or does it always look this way in the south? Or is this connected to the recent alien rocket launch from the moon reported by Sorcha Faal? Or to the Flat Earth question?
I gathered some of you are scientists, so someone might be able to explain.
Since the light of the moon is reflected from the sun, the ‘horns’ of a crescent moon always point directly away from the sun.
The sun and moon and planets all appear to be in the same plane against the background of stars, more or less. This plane is called the ‘ecliptic’.
Due to the tilt of the Earth’s axis, the angle of the ecliptic at the horizon changes month by month. If that angle is shallow, the left and right rule you learned works pretty well.
However, if the ecliptic is at a greater angle, such that the sun and moon are setting (or rising) relatively vertically, it will be more top and bottom. This is exacerbated by the fact that the moon’s orbit isn’t exactly the same as the ecliptic – it goes ‘above’ and ‘below’ the ecliptic.
If it was right on the ecliptic, there would be a total solar eclipse every New Moon. Think about it…
a
Aliens, dude. They are clever, and tech geniuses, but you saw through their fx. Eons ago they set up earth as a test bed for biological experiments. A giant test tube or aquarium, if you will. Ever seen the film “The Truman Show”? Not about the war criminal former u.s. prez or that old guy Mt. St. Hellens buried. The film was a brave exposure of the test environment that all us earthlings exist under.
When the aliens caught on, too late, mind you, they disappeared many of the film crew (extracted them for further study), and affected the rest with other afflictions. Example: carrey and his currently exhibited mental disorders.
Stay strong. And be vigilant. Now that you made known your disbelief, they will be coming for you. Watch the skies for large silver coloured, cigar shaped objects. These are the motherships where disbelievers are worked on.
We are not guinea pigs!

The always well-researched Eric Zuesse has an interesting piece over on Strategic Culture, reminding us of who is the money bags behind the proxies in the ‘small wars’ or ‘forever wars’ —-which are always fought ‘over there’, not ‘here’:
https://www.strategic-culture.org/news/2018/12/26/who-was-secretly-behind-america-invading-and-occupying-syria.html
The bully in the playground doesn’t quit because one person has the gall to stand up to him, he just finds someone even smaller to pick on and provide himself with the feeling of being invincible, or he gets a bit smarter and becomes more devious with his aggressions. If the problem was that easy to solve he would never have become a bully to fill the yawning chasm in his soul in the first place.
Odd, ran some word searches at that article. The word israel came up once, saying they are an ally of saudi arabia. Other terms, zionist, oded, yinon, netted zilch. At that point the page went blank.
Some things, the important, really sensitive ones, cannot be tackled with a full-frontal assault since that will provoke an immediate backlash. And hammering the same point over and over gets tedious for the one wielding the hammer as well as for the listener who has a very short attention span anyway.
Good writing (novels, tech stuff, whatever) doesn’t lay it all out for the reader. The best writers (in my view) trust the reader to do some of the work themselves. Nobody likes to be told all the time, whatever their IQ level.
om
The Zuesse piece is not bad. He provides some detailed info on some of the connections behind the zpc/nwo war against Syria and to the al qaida terrorist proxies.
Where it falls short is why these people wanted to take down Syria, for whom this was mainly to benefit and what sort of state they wanted to reduce Syria to. He claims it was for saudi interests, or perhaps his sources claim that and Zuesse simply was repeating that view.
I could go on, but basically Zuesse points out some individual trees, ignores others and neglects to note how this all makes up a forest. What he did detail is useful, but without what he ignored, it doesn’t advance our understanding much beyond some limited oligarch connections, and leads to some false conclusions such as the zpc/nwo war against Syria was to make it a saudi colony.
“Some things, the important, really sensitive ones, cannot be tackled with a full-frontal assault since that will provoke an immediate backlash.”
Actually, what is needed now is full exposure, not partial exposure which condemns some, but lets of others, there by creating a false reality as to what went down and why.
“And hammering the same point over and over gets tedious for the one wielding the hammer as well as for the listener who has a very short attention span anyway.”
The short attention spans are not worth the effort, and never will be. As for the rest, they want the full picture, with all the warts and pimples. We are tired of having important facts left out to meet the approval of censors.
“Good writing (novels, tech stuff, whatever) doesn’t lay it all out for the reader. The best writers (in my view) trust the reader to do some of the work themselves. Nobody likes to be told all the time, whatever their IQ level.”
Sounds like somebody is confused about the difference between non fiction and fiction. Reporting on current events, history in the making, essentially, and past history, isn’t about writing fiction, good or otherwise. It’s not about being a talented performance artist or talented playwright. Like science, it is supposed to be based on facts. And like science, when the facts are incomplete, it skews the understanding into fictional territory.
Imagine a chemist teacher building up the suspense in such a manner as you emphasize:
“Ok, we know a water molecule is a combination of hydrogen and oxygen atoms. To make this more interesting for you, I’m not going to tell how many of each type of atom. You will have to find this out on your own today in lab class. Meanwhile, I will be in the cafeteria (that should be a safe enough distance away).”
Non fiction and fiction are very different things with very different priorities.
The confusion between fiction and non-fiction is primarily in the noggin. When teaching children, a specialist skill, the subject matter is presented in a form that the child, at whatever level of development (age based)they are at that moment, can assimilate. Good learning is a slow process of building, one row of blocks upon another, and each row must be fully understood before the next row can be tackled.
Where is the suspense in such a scenario, in the teacher (who presumably knows his stuff if he is competent), or in the child?
Reporting, I agree should be factual and presented without bias, to inform. It is taught that way (or was) to journalists who are, or purport to be, professionals.
Mr Zuesse wrote a good piece. If you want to know why he didn’t cover all the ground that you want in one piece then you will have to ask him yourself. I just deal in general principles, mind reading is not my thing. And no, I don’t consider his internal problems, whatever they might be, to be relevant to his writing a worthwhile piece, nor do I consider what he chooses to write or not write to be indicative, at all, of whether or not he is a closet Zionist. Perhaps he is not aware of his status in your eyes and has a hidden, sneaking admiration for Bibi that he cannot understand?
Again, I am not a mind reader and not interested in such things either.
The ‘very short attention spans’ are very much worth the effort since we all start out with short attention spans. What matters is what we do with our short attention spans, whether we seek to increase them, slowly, over time, or whether we wait for some bolt out of the blue to do it for us, like waiting for a knight on a white horse to save our asses.
‘Non fiction and fiction are very different things with very different priorities.’
‘Perhaps that should read ‘Non fiction and fiction should be very different…’ but I have done a lot of reading and can assure you that the distinctions in written work are never so clear, even in tech stuff.
BTW, I wasn’t in the canteen, I went for a kip as sleep often eludes me these days so I get it where I can. And I am not a teacher either, I just abhor being proselytised and can see it coming a mile off, by now.
Dimitar is aware of this as we have spoken about it before.
om
Interesting. Where the confusion between non fiction and fiction is especially useful is in advertising, mind control, propaganda, psywar, things like those. Also in hiding corruption and other unsavory things. There blurring the lines is very important.
Regarding the short attention spanners, good luck getting them to read a long, detailed article. :-D
What’s that proverb thing about ‘from little acorns grow’?
Rome wasn’t built in a day either and you should see the stats for advertising, return on outlaid costs, how many page views to get a sale, how many emails to get a click. I’m not even in the running with my blatherings here, but…
I ain’t winning no-one over, just providing an alternative view to Maggie’s famous TINA…there is no alternative. There are plenty of alternatives if you look for them.
If you’re trying to connect me to the word “proselytised” – “convert or attempt to convert someone from one religion, belief, or opinion to another”, or “advocate and promote a belief or course of action” – those are your own subjective interpretations, nothing else.
If it was only my subjective interpretation, which of course is all it ever can be in reality, why did it cause you to get upset and label it a ‘severe psychic attack’
Where did this attack happen? What was the result?
And I was under the impression that you did not want to continue this, that I was to leave you out of this, yet here you are stepping right back in.
Am I compelling you with some dark occult magic to continue? Nothing like that on this end, I assure you.
Perhaps you are having the same trouble with your machine as has been plaguing my machines recently, VT.
Funny that, but unavoidable in the medium, I think.
Here’s a song, in the meantime. Not exactly applicable to what I can divine of your taste (limited medium again) but what the h*ll, I like it, and squaddies and pipes, what could be better?

Pogues, Waltzing Matilda from a different perspective, topical in this centenary year. No naughty words but discretion advised for sensitive souls as its a bit of a bleak dirge:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GPFjToKuZQM
Our (British) last survivor of the trenches died a few years ago, but not before telling Tony Blair, in words of one syllable, what he thought of him. Tony was hoping for some reflected glory from the photo op, his face was a delight as he tried desperately to turn the gaffe to his advantage and then slunk away, defeated. It didn’t alter the Bliar’s messianic self-belief one iota, though. Some are way beyond redemption in this life.
The Pogues again, one of my personal faves, with no real connection to the events in Waltzing Matilda but it provides a good counterpoint, cartoons, pirate stories and sea-people and all that:

Comrades in Arms
What a strange way of double dealing
What a block , a delaying
Of actual heart connect
Killing arms with arms of healing
A thought
Of that truth in heaven
Left to act here as leaven
To bring to
earth
From formless to give birth
What is searing love in other sphere
Becomes so in fact so hidden here
A mother’s wish a lover’s vow
To make it real so much hard time
Of Days repetition in endless now
Through boredom pain to bliss sublime
Your work takes a few reads, but always delivers.
That is a beautiful Poem !
A poet can only speak of what he or she knows, deeply knows and experiences. That is a law of the heart and makes their words so compelling, whether in prose or poetry, and makes them universally treasured.
They are not another type of person, no alien, they are anyone at anytime joining words in sequences in ways that may achieve a meaning greater than their word count equivalent.
Expanded meaning requiring a new form of words, new perceptions by the reader.
Ras
Ras, you said it so well, I can only admire and appreciate your words, agreeing with you.
“…joining words in sequences in ways that may achieve a meaning greater than their word count…”
That’s exactly it. I doubt if there’s another medium that expresses ideas so clearly as that found in the lines of poetry. The writers of sacred texts knew poetry/verse would enable their ideas to get across. The poet’s yardstick is an internal one, hence it’s ‘ring of truth’.

Russian Viktor Bout Says US Lawyers Bargained for ‘Kremlin Corruption’ Testimony
https://sputniknews.com/us/201812281071051938-russia-bout-usa-court-bargain/
“Russian national Viktor Bout, jailed in the United States, said in a phone call on Thursday that court-appointed attorneys handling his case had offered him to testify about alleged corruption in Russia in exchange for benefits.
“Special services did not coerce me but court-appointed lawyers made such offers repeatedly during pre-trial process,” Bout said, asked whether US intelligence agencies ever forced him to testify against other Russians while in prison, adding that his family had been offered a Green Card, which would allow them to live and work in the United States, in exchange for reporting “corruption within the Kremlin.”
That is how the pindo legal system wirks. It’s corrupt and political as hell all throughout.

Better than flogging! US Navy to stop ‘bread & water’ punishment for low-ranked sailors
https://www.rt.com/usa/447557-navy-bread-water-confinement/
“Gluten-sensitive sailors rejoice! The US Navy is dropping the practice of punishing minor infractions with three days in the brig on bread and water rations, as part of an overhaul of military regulations.
Ship captains will no longer be able to send misbehaving crew members to bread and water confinement starting January 1, 2019. The move is part of a reform to the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), which President Barack Obama signed into law in late 2016 and President Donald Trump amended earlier this year, according to the military newspaper Stars & Stripes.
The administrative punishment that dates back to the age of sail was applied against sailors in the lowest three pay grades for insubordination, unauthorized absences or lewd behavior.
For example, one sailor aboard the submarine support ship USS Frank Cable was punished in the mid-1980s for running naked through the women’s berthing, Brenda Lettera, the ship’s cook, told Stripes.
“They get to eat as much bread as they want during the time,” Lettera said, explaining she gave the sailor two to three loaves for each meal. “Except for raisin bread. That wasn’t allowed.”
A military review panel that recommended eliminating the punishment said it was “confident” that commanders could maintain discipline through other punishments provided by UCMJ’s Article 15, according to the Navy Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) office spokeswoman Patty Babb.
There was no word what captains might use instead of bread and water confinement going forward.”
Well, there you go, the things you can learn in strange places. My father joined up as a boy sailor at 14, in the early 1940’s, in the RN. He claimed that he was flogged on more than one occasion. How can that be if it was outlawed in the 1870’s?
Of course he was a dreadful liar, amongst other things, and thoroughly untrustworthy but who is going to say that the practice did not continue even while outlawed?
Fact or fiction, you decide.

Russia shuts down foreign forex platforms specializing in moving money offshore
https://www.rt.com/business/447584-russia-shuts-down-forex-platforms/
“The Bank of Russia has revoked licenses of five out on nine foreign exchange dealers operating in the country – Alpari Forex, Forex Club, Fix Trade, Trustforex, and Teletrade Group. The decision comes into force on January 27.
All the companies are subsidiaries of foreign firms that use aggressive advertising to lure Russian clients and focus on moving their money offshore, according to the regulator.
The forex platforms now have a month to cease operations in Russia’s securities market and pay off their customers, the regulator said announcing the measure on Thursday.
Thus only four forex dealers are to remain on the Russian market – Alfa-forex, VTB-forex, PSB-forex, and Finam-forex, mostly affiliated with top Russian banks.”

Oh, that’s just the proletariat…marching on the streets
Recently I saw the film “Der Himmer über Berlin” Wrote a poem in German about that film – feel free to translate it in English (Mundo ?) :
Der Himmer über Berlin
by ioan
Berlin, ein magischer Ort
Die Sehnsucht für das Leben,
Die Sehnsucht für das Wort,
Für menschliche Wesen
Meine Flügeln weigern sich
Mein Körper wusste nichts
Die Seele wartet schon
Das Leben, der Brot, sein Lohn
Berlin, im Nebel und Feucht
Von oben und von unten
Mit Menschen, die sich freut
Und andere die rumpeln
Die grausam und das Licht
Das Lächeln über Tod
Ein Spiegel ins Gesicht,
Wirklichkeit, tabu, verbot…
Dort, am Himmel, in die weite ferne
Gucken ab und schauen gern,
Tausende kleine Laterne
In ihrem weg nach schuld und lern.
Allow me to translate to the best of my ability into plain German…without poetic interpretation ( Mundo is superb in this one) I assume “Himmer” is Himmel ( heaven or sky) I need to go and watch that movie now..inspired by a heartfelt poem……Katrin
The Sky over Berlin
by ioan
Berlin, a magic place
The yearning for the life
The yearning for the word
For human beings
My wings refuse to work
My body was unaware
My soul is waiting
The life, the bread, his wage
Berlin, in fog and dampness
From above and below
With people, that are happy
Others that are grumpy
The cruelness and the light
They smile over death
A mirror in the face
Reality a taboo, not allowed
There, in the heavens, in the wide, far-away
Look at and gladly enjoy
Thousands of small lanterns
On their way to guilt and learning.
Thank you Katrin for translation, very kind of you. Yes, sorry, it is Himmel of course. You must watch that film, I think it is on vimeo. It’s not an usual film. A friend of mine gave me the tip not so long ago.
Thanks for the poem and translation. Can the word “schuld “ be translated as shame also. ? I was just struck by its inclusion in your conclusion. Yes the guilty “shoulds/schulds “ of life.
I would have, could have, should have
I knew not what the outcome had
To know now good from bad?
Confusing still, this glad from sad
Sadder but wiser can Sum up a life
Weighed by “shoulds”-no joy in sight
Lay down the guilt ,give up the strife
Why not go gentle into that sweet light?
Thank you ioan and Katrin for giving my lazy poetical nerve
the needfull stich to try my ‘Berlin’, I didn’t see that film as yet,
hence anything I had were ioan’s words.
The Heaven ‘bout Berlin
Magical moment Berlin
Longing for life and for breath
Longing for the expression of
living before the wreath
My wings refuse to carry
My body blind of sage
My soul is still awaiting for
a living a bread and a wage
Foggy Berlin now so moisty
from up and from below
With people in it rejoicing
Or rumbling to give one a blow
Cool-blooded in daylight
A smile at the grave
A mirror telling face
Face it there’s no grace
Yonder there up in heaven
Embracing far and wide
Some times and with affection
A thousand tiny lanterns
Are watching us abide
Oh yes, this is a wonderful poetic interpretation! Beautiful to roll of the tongue, Mondo….
“Schuld’ is generally understood as guilt………”Scham” ( engl. shame) is deep personal embarrassment in all kinds of situations.
“Sollte” is “should” ……..it’s emotionally connected, but doesn’t have the same word meaning.
To me, “guilt and learning” in the poem read as “life’s full experience and always learning”
I might’ve seen the movie years ago. Will look for it again. Thank you for the encouragement, Katrin

Ass You Were: US Soldiers Allowed Barracks Fun Again After Sex Ban Reversed
https://sputniknews.com/us/201812291071082887-US-Soldiers-Sex-Ban-Reversed/
“A December 17 memo sent to US Army teams stationed at the Grafenwoehr Training Barracks in Germany banned them from engaging in sexual acts. But Christmas came late for the troops abroad, as the ban was rescinded on December 26.
“It’s unclear what, if any, specific incident precipitated this week-long prohibition on ass-eating, but soldiers from the battalion ‘have been living in close proximity while deployed to Europe for nine months,’ Army officials” told the US military veteran publication Task & Purpose.”
And just in time for New Years Eve…what fun, eh?
Germans, some germans, are worried about Muslims in germany, yet are apparently ok with uniformed pindo bum bandits. All in a day’s occupation, I guess.
If u.s. military behaviour in Japan is an universal example of the problem occupied counties have with american troops feeling free to “express themselves”, what they do in germany probably dwarfs what Muslim emigrants do there.

A group of Democratic Party operatives with close ties to the national security state waged a cynical campaign of online deception against the American public, while marketing themselves as the guardians against from foreign interference. Few, if any, Russian hackers could have done as much damage to the already worn fabric of American democracy as they have.”

“We orchestrated an elaborate ‘false flag’ operation that planted the idea that the Moore campaign was amplified on social media by a Russian botnet.”

Irony alert: Firm that warned Americans of Russian bots…was running an army of fake Russian bots
https://www.rt.com/op-ed/447630-russian-bots-new-knowledge/
“New Knowledge created a mini-army of fake Russian bots and fake Facebook groups. The accounts, which had Russian names, were made to follow Moore. An internal company memo boasted that New Knowledge had “orchestrated an elaborate ‘false flag’ operation that planted the idea that the Moore campaign was amplified on social media by a Russian botnet.”
Of course, New Knowledge and even the New York Times, which blew the lid of the operation, are trying to spin this as some kind of “small experiment” during which they “imitated Russian tactics” online to see how they worked. Just for research, of course. They have also both claimed that the scheme, dubbed ‘Project Birmingham’ had almost no effect on the outcome of the race.
The money for the so-called research project came from Reid Hoffman, the billionaire co-founder of LinkedIn, who contributed $750,000 to American Engagement Technologies (AET), which then spent $100,000 on the New Knowledge experiment.”
The only ‘Russian bots’ to meddle in US elections belonged to Democrat-linked ‘experts’
https://www.rt.com/usa/447619-new-knowledge-russia-bots-scandal/
“Described by the New York Times as a group of “tech specialists who lean Democratic,” New Knowledge has ties to both the US military and intelligence agencies. Its CEO and co-founder Jonathon Morgan previously worked for DARPA, the US military’s advanced research agency. His partner, Ryan Fox, is a 15-year veteran of the National Security Agency who also worked as a computer analyst for the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC). Their unique skill sets have managed to attract the eye of investors, who pumped $11 million into the company in 2018 alone.
Morgan, for example, is one of the developers of the Hamilton 68 Dashboard, the online tool that purports to monitor and expose narratives being pushed by the Kremlin on Twitter. The dashboard is bankrolled by the German Marshall Fund’s Alliance for Securing Democracy – a collection of Democrats and neoconservatives funded in part by NATO and USAID.
It is worth noting that the 600 “Russia-linked” Twitter accounts monitored by the dashboard are not disclosed to the public, making it impossible to verify its claims. This inconvenience has not stopped Hamilton 68 from becoming a go-to source for hysteria-hungry journalists, however.
Things got even weirder when it turned out that Scott Shane, the author of the Times piece, had known about the meddling for months, because he spoke at an event where the organizers boasted about it!
Shane was one of the speakers at a meeting in September, organized by American Engagement Technologies, a group run by Mikey Dickerson, President Barack Obama’s former tech czar. Dickerson explained how AET spent $100,000 on New Knowledge’s campaign to suppress Republican votes, “enrage” Democrats to boost turnout, and execute a “false flag” to hurt Moore. He dubbed it “Project Birmingham.”
As for Shane, he told BuzzFeed that he was “shocked” by the revelations, but had signed a nondisclosure agreement at the request of AET, so he could not talk about it further.
Shane’s spin on the tale was that New Knowledge “imitated Russian tactics” as part of an “experiment” that had a budget of “only” $100,000 and had no effect on the election. Yet these tactics are only considered “Russian” because New Knowledge and similar outfits said so!”
One can see how u.s. spooks, business people and the zionazi-gay media colluded in a falseflag media campaign to smear Russia. It’s a lot more than the democrats vs the republicans, the zpc/nwo are using that canned rivalry as a cover.
US: Mattis Blocks US$500M Israel F-16 Sale Before Resigning
https://www.telesurenglish.net/news/US-Mattis-Blocks-US500M-Israel-F-16-Sale-Before-Resigning-20181229-0003.html
“Mattis – who is set to leave his position on January 1, 2019 – also canceled a recently scheduled trip to Israel.
United States outgoing Secretary of Defence James Mattis blocked a massive US$500 million weapons deal between Israel and Croatia, according to an Axio report.”
It’s claimed mattis resigned over trump pulling troops from Syria. But what about this block of this israeli f-16 sale? Perhaps mattis wasn’t israeli friendly enough for israel’s colonial trump regime and forced out due to this. What if this latest wave of s.s. trumptanic resignations is about the regime moving to further subservience to israel. With the hiring of bolton, it was obvious the regime had turned full neocon and with israeli interests taking the front seat openly now.
The sale isn’t dead, but still in negotiation and likely will be push through now.
Croatia Denies Reports of Blocked F-16 Deal, Says Israel’s $500M Sale a Go
https://sputniknews.com/world/201812111070597144-croatia-denies-f-16-sale-israel-block/
“Israeli Ambassador to Croatia Zina Kalay Kleitman called for patience while saying she was hopeful for an answer to the technical requirements question by the end of the month.”
Wink, wink, nudge, nudge.
“I’m in favor, but Defense Secretary [James] Mattis is against [the sale] — it’s him who is blocking it,” US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said last Monday, as quoted by The Times of Israel. Croatian officials fumed over the deal taking so long to go through and urged their Israeli counterparts to work out any obstacles with the US, according to The Times of Israel.”
So mattis had to go…
Wow, yeah I was listening to different channels on youtube, and a few of them mentioned how Mattis was the most Anti Zio one amongst trumps inner circle, and they mentioned he was probably let go for that reason. Now you post this so wouldn’t be surprised if they let him go for that. Even though Mattis is also a POS.
This was sent to me as an answer to my question of what is going on with the Generals and Trump in Looneylandia.

Scarce News on Admiral Stearney’s Death
David Martin • December 21, 2018
If you are a regular reader of The Jerusalem Post you would have learned on December 1 that the top officer for all U.S. Navy operations in the Middle East, Vice Admiral Scott Stearney, had been found dead in his home in Bahrain. The Reuters wire story that The Jerusalem Post was simply passing on was an official statement from U.S. Chief of Naval Operations, John Richardson. The statement gave no cause of death or any other information except to assure us that foul play was not suspected.
If you get your news from The Washington Post, on the other hand, you wouldn’t even know that much, right up to the time that I am penning this report. Try searching “Scott Stearney Washington Post” and see what you get. Nothing comes up related to his death, no matter what search engine you use. Can one think of a greater reason to be suspicious of Admiral Stearney’s death than that? Surely The Post must know that the death of this very important man, who had some 20,000 subordinates, is newsworthy. If it were clearly of natural causes or the result of an accident, could there be any doubt that they would have at least reported it? At the same time the death is so mysterious that the Navy feels obligated to volunteer that there couldn’t have been any foul play involved.
So what was the cause of the Admiral’s death? On the next day, December 2, The Washington Times prepared us by telling us that it was “likely a suicide” according to reports, CBS and lots of other news organs then nailed it down with the old familiar “apparent suicide” mantra. (That’s the other “David Martin” who contributed to the CBS report.) […]

Interesting what gets blown up into a huge thing, and what gets silently slid to the back pages or not even mentioned.
I’m surprised they are doing a big deal to play it up and blame evil Iranian terrorists using Russian novachuckle. Get Dustin Hoffman to produce it, and it could be the hit of the season. And brush aside any questions about Trump was really doing with that Campfire Girl in the closet.
Calling it a suicide can mean they are so mad at him that not only did they have to kill him, but now they want to be really vindictive and deny his wife and family the pension of a Vice Admiral which is a nice bit of change. At least with Dustin Hoffman they called it a heart attack and gave him some dignity in the movie.
… Giza Pyramid Talk … more slanderous, presumptuous uninformed garbage …
All these unprecedented accomplishments have made the mysteries of construction techniques especially intriguing. The first person to raise the question was himself an important part of the ancient world. The “Father of History,” the great Greek writer and historian Herodotus travelled to Egypt in c. 450 BC. When he asked about the pyramid was built, he was told workers used a series of levers to raise blocks level by level. For the modern engineer this technique seems impractical. The levers needed to raise 2-3 ton stones would need to be enormous, far larger than could be accommodated on the edge of the pyramid. It should not be surprising Herodotus’ sources were wrong, the pyramid was already 2,000 years old by the time Herodotus made his inquiries.

Western news media reported on the couple who filmed themselves having sexual intercourse atop The Great Pyramid … typical Zionist trashy entertainment … while Pravda informs and educates, as does Saker’s Cafe.

The New York New Year’s Eve Big Ball Drop will be “dedicated to protecting press freedom and celebrating the importance of journalism.” They are Khassogi and the bit I saw mentioned Putin as someone cracking down on journalists, but failed to mention one very important name.
Thus, someone really needs to take over the screens at Times Square just before midnight and put up big pictures of Julian Assange. Don’t do it after midnight, because by then everyone is drunk and kissing someone. But just before midnight everyone will be watching. Maybe put up Assange’s picture and use little cartoon bubbletalks to have him giving the countdown. :)
I am just joking of course, and would never ever even consider encouraging someone to hack into a computer. But it would be funny!

Geographical consideration of Russia’s situation, as opposed to the boorish Western think-tank spittle, reveals the physical origins of their diplomatic nuance and fair-mindedness. Thanks to Lavrov, and all honest Russian faces of goodwill, for forcing us to confront the msm media head-on for what they are — bigots.
