“The imagination is not a state, it is human existence itself.” William Blake
“The Poet and the Winged One”
the poet draws
on images within
finding sequences
that ignite,
revealing in bold
and subtle shades
secrets of
the inner sight
a winged one there is,
one so rare
that dwells in the room
at the top of the stairs,
seldom seen and
seldom heard
impossible to hold
in one’s crosshairs
the poet follows
the sound within
composing hymns
in supple counts,
he points the way
beyond the stars
bringing to bear
his own account
a winged one there is,
one so rare
that drinks from the well
at the top of the stairs,
its song it sings
in cantatory flight
that the poet may hear
and aspire to share
the poet weaves
the wind like silk
and builds a
shining redoubt,
the winged one spins
the lightning bolts…
then turns them
inside out!
“The imagination is not a state, it is human existence itself.” William Blake
I’m lost in silly dreams, wishful thinking, childish fantasies – therefore I am, I suppose. Or am I still sleeping?
You have to work it out.
Another clue from Blake; “I must create a system, or be enslaved by another man’s. I will not reason and compare: my business is to create.”
The outer circumstances/events of our lives are only the result of that which we’ve allowed ourselves to be brought into – and can be adjusted or reversed by changing our imaging and feeling processes. The feelings attached to the images we entertain may be fear or love based, but act to drive the conditons home. The imagination can be used well, badly or indifferently, however, our interest or disinterest in this subject may mean the difference ultimately between being our own master, or someone’s slave.
Julian Assange Wins 2019 EU Journalism Award
https://www.telesurenglish.net/news/Julian-Assange-Wins-2019-EU-Journalism-Award-20190416-0035.html
The prize is sponsored by European left-wing parliamentarians, who devised it in 2018 in honor of assassinated Maltese journalist Daphne Galizia. Nobel Peace prize winner (1976), Mairead Maguire, received it on Assange’s behalf at an event in the European Parliament in France.
Assange is a multi-award winning journalist, with more than 15 international recognitions for his work. The most outstanding awards are the 2008 New Media Award from The Economist, 2010 Time Person of the Year (Reader’s Choice), 2009 Amnesty International UK Media Award, among others. Something his defense has repeatedly explained since by being a publisher and journalist, U.S. imprisonment would mean the violation of fundamental freedom of expression rights.
That doesn’t amount to a hill of beans for the Guardian feminazis or the Blairite feminazis like Jess Phillips. For these demented banshees Assange is just a ‘rapist’ who deserves rendition to US Supermax via Sweden, that feminazi Heaven on Earth, where a torn condom, with no DNA from Assange or his ‘victim’, is evidence enough for conviction and sentence of Life in solitary.

… Distraction …
Now in Ecuador there are massive protests supporting Julian Assange, while in London there are very dramatic and seemingly passionate protests demanding action on climate change.
( For those who can read into events … Hmmmmmmm )

Does climate change crisis justify illegal resistance or are activists out of bounds? DEBATE
https://www.rt.com/news/456795-climate-change-action-debate/
The anthropogenic climate destabilisation catastrophe justifies any and every action short of violence, which would be self-defeating. And it is but one dimension of the ecological collapse Holocaust, that will end human residence on Earth very soon if we do not unite to avert it. Even then it is almost certainly too late to prevent billions of premature deaths, and devastation that will take centuries to reverse.
As for violence, that is the ruling parasites’ strong suit and favoured method, so resorting to it will only suit them. In any case, once they feel sufficiently threatened, they will use violence against the defenders of Life on Earth, as they have done for decades in the poor world, killing hundreds of indigenous leaders, workers’ representatives and environmentalists every year. The false-flag will be their first resort in the rich world, then the criminalisation of environmental resistance as ‘terrorism’. Perhaps, because it is such a favourite tactic, it will be ‘discovered’ that defending Life on Earth is ‘antisemitic’.
Life on earth existed before humans, we are not the controllers, well, if you read the fake bible God gave humans contol of everything under them, hmm, the choosen humans that is? What a crock of freakin’ bull! To save the plant for humans, from humans, ignors the ‘fact’ that the ‘planet’ all by itself can remove all trace of human life, without human input. That has happened, is recoreded, and will no doubt happen again. It also ignors the ‘fact’ that a celestial body could quite easily slam into our planet and again remove all human life (that’s not actually how it works, life goes on, mutations and different forms) but the point is, pointed out elsewhere here to day………..no one physical thing lasts in a static state for ever. Everything, animate and inanimate, is in a constant mutational flux.
Now I am not saying, why bother, but the constant stream of lies being peddled has a person experiencing heat waves screaming ‘global warming’ while others who experience extreme cold for longer than ususal wonder what the fuss is (last year we didn’t get to pick our asparigus untill late May, years past we picked at the end of April). Perhaps the answer is less consumption, less materialism. But in a world ruled by sheckles, good luck with that.
sean, our devastation of the planet does not just pertain to the destabilisation of the climate. That, however, is proceeding at a pace and to an extent not seen since the End Permian ‘Great Dying’ when a greenhouse catastrophe caused by volcanic eruptions igniting huge beds of coal caused the extinction of 90% or so of Life on Earth. That extinction event occurred at a much slower rate than this one is.
So the rest of Life on Earth is very much involved in our self-destruction. 60% of all animal life has disappeared in the last fifty years. Insect populations are crashing across the world, and two hundred (a vague estimate) species become extinct every day. Most of the planet’s life-support systems are collapsing and the rest are on the brink. And heat records outnumber cold records by at least an order of magnitude, and the cold records are almost entirely explicable in terms of the destruction of the Arctic ice-sheets, the amplification of northern warming (predicted by Arrhenius in the 1890s) and the albedo flip from white, light-reflecting ice, to dark, heat-absorbing, sea. These factors have caused the derangements of the jet-streams and the polar vortex, that cause excursions of cold air into lower latitudes and the incursion of warm air into the higher latitudes of the north.
And all that does not take into consideration global, inescapable pollution, particularly of devastatingly poisonous chemicals like glyphosate, the drenching of the planet in microwave radiation, deforestation, the derangement of the nitrogen cycle through industrialised agriculture and animal husbandry etc, etc, etc. We are, barring a miracle, well and truly rooted.

Actually clima change should truly be the most important question of today, just not the way its being promoted.
If TheSaker has time it could be an eye opener on this site.
Digging down in the narrative I found these key stones:
There is NO clima change nor CO2 problem. Anyone with basic math/physics can crush this hoax completely in 5 minutes. 31000 American scientists incl 9000 PhD´s have signed a declaration dismissing CO2 for those who only can believe in majority group thinking.
So where does clima/global heating come from?
Rockefeller is said to have invented “fossil dinosaur oil” in 1896 when he found oil on the surface and used it in Ford´s new uncomfortable cars, and made rich people pay big to drive around 20km/hr.
It was so successful, that Rockefeller invited the most famous scientists at the time, paid the most reckless to sign a scientist paper that the oil was fossil and limited, to keep the price high. A simple used car trick that lasted 120 years with socialists, children, women, corrupt scientists and owned media as useful idiots.
Rockefeller invested in WWI. Rockefeller invested in WWII. Rockefeller invented and proposed UN to Roosefelt/Churchill/Stalin, financed and paid the erection of the UN building.
Rockefeller (the Godfather of Wall Street) created the Rome Clube which invented the concept “sustainable planet” and “lack of resources” where humanity became the problem/enemy.
You have seen these videos/pictures of an unhappy Icebear on a melting iceplate and then airplane and ferry on fossil oil and CO2 gasses, full of people explode and drown in the atlantic, and a happy icebear saved on the now freezed iceplate.
Rockefeller´s resources (the nature) protected against humans.
The idea was to make the useful idiots on the left guard the nature and its resources from free use by the poor, thus protecting it to sell the “lack of water, energy, heat, food, whatever” expensive to the sheeple and the poor.
When Internet came up and developed, the Rockefeller cabal invented through UN the idea of Agenda 21 promoting the idea of a “sustainable planet” of 1 billion, saying there was not enough resources to a middleclass of 8 billion people.
Some Elite got concerned about their role in this figure, why Rockefeller simply raised the figure to 2 billion to calm them down and motivated to kill those classes under them.
Considering there is room and resources enough on the planet for 70 billion, The Rockefeller clube became scared of competition and pressure from to many middleclass billions in the future.
Note the awful ground school in West dismissing math and reading as important. In an interview with the Film Director Russel, Rockefeller describe the future where 5-6 billion and the Western middle class must and will be erased through “Silent weapons for Silent wars” the chipping of all mankind, the Smart grid and 5G called the Kill Grid. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h9Wsb4qBckU
Total control to Rockefeller and his fellows the Billionaires, with only controllers and peasant workers left. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s_38tsQ4p0I
So the clima change is real enough to create anger, among now school children and MSM a whole generation and the public, toward the middle class who are “destroying the planet”, thus making them kill each other in order to “survive” the impact of people using God´s creation with plenty of (Rockefeller´s) resources.
And local Elites as useful idiots getting a first class card “you are among us”, making them doing the dirty work of killing their own for a “sustainable planet”.
Wake up boys. Its happened here and now just in front of you.
… you have missed my point … It is a distraction … bad timing.
Those rent-a-crowd idiots should be outside the Ecuador embassy in London or at 10 Downing Street or inside the house of parliament … etc etc …
If free speech goes … everything goes.
@(Paul)
I got your point. Just wanted to add findings about Rockefeller´s clima hoax to show the case is even more absurd than your first picture.
There are plans afoot, long overdue, to make ecocidal crimes against Life on Earth punishable in the same manner as Crimes Against Humanity. One can only hope that the propagandists of the denialist industry will suffer a fate akin to that which befell Streicher. The lumpen ignoramuses cannot be dealt with, because they have the defence of mental insufficiency and pig ignorance, and, in any case, the publics of the planet, as the ecological Holocaust rapidly worsens in the next decade or so, will no doubt take matters into their own hands-people are like that.
Who are making these plans and who are gonna punish Monsanto, the Socialists, Silicon Valley, Washington, Pentagon and TPTB for ecocidal crimes???
I beg your pardon, but everybody know 88 old white farm owner Mike Jones and Galilei will be blamed for it all.
I am absolutely all for punishing Monsatan et al for destroying the habitability of the planet for ours and most other species. That is what I said-leave the lumpen, brainwashed, imbeciles alone. They are too stupid and happily ignorant to be held accountable, but those who put greed for wealth and power before the lives of billions, even their own children-they must face condign justice.
The public is already taking things into their own hands…….despite the lack of evidence.
Children lecturing adults. Screaming liberals verballing scientists. Fanatics demanding they are right about a science with unknowable variables.
How did you come to know what you think you know Mulga?
Why do you think the bastards would lie to you about everything except climate change?
It is a tool used by the globalists to have us pay for our own subjugation.
Period.
LBD, I agree that the powers that be lie about everything, but that is precisely why their lies reinforce the science of anthropogenic climate destabilisation, which is as indisputable and unequivocal as science comes. The powers that be are, in fact, the denialists, the prevaricators, the down-players and, in the end, the saboteurs of action to avert the ecological cataclysm.
The fossil fuel industry, the ultimate cause of the greatest forcing of anthropogenic climate destabilisation, the release into the atmosphere of greenhouse gases like CO2 and methane, is worth tens of trillions. It is the greatest repository of wealth and power on Earth. Its trillions of assets are the foundations of elite power, in stock exchanges, the financial industry and the US petro-dollar that has long been the bedrock of US global economic hegemony.
These forces are behind the multi-billion dollar denialist industry, and its massive propaganda machine in think-tanks and the Rightwing fakestream media sewer, that has fooled so many over so long a period that action now would almost certainly be too late. That financial power is also behind regimes like that of Obama, the saboteur of Copenhagen, Bush and Trump, utter denialist imbeciles in hock to fossil fuel ‘contributions’, and the denialist hard Right regime in Austfailure, a moronic inferno of Gadarene coal-worshippers if ever there was one. And all this brainwashing and service to the money power has robbed humanity of at least thirty years when the move to a de-carbonised global economy could have saved us, and now we simply await our fate as the ice-sheets melt, the oceans warm, the coral reefs die, the mega-fires and Noahite floods rage and Life on Earth rapidly collapses into another ‘Great Dying’.
a friend of mine figures he has an APG (Air Plasma Generator) all worked out. But if he doesn`t get funding for a metal printer, it ain`t gonna happen. He`s had a couple Phd’ in electromagnetic Physics confirm his science. Plastic printed parts simply melt. I see your knowledge on the Saker and call your attention to his website: maybe you can help in some way, albiet,it seems too late to really change the path we`ve gone down. Your thoughts? can I email you?

In the last Cafe, Bro 93 sent me an open mail : ” It could be that you are far too coy in your socialist virginity to romp along the rivers of capitalist cryptography and even play along reluctantly…” this line is such a beauty, it made me smile every time I read it, it is poetry in its kind, with irony and humor. Bro, you should specialize in such definitions, you have the vein for that. Anyway, there is some truth within those words.
In those years no one even imagined to be a world wide web, not just in socialist states but in west also, cryptography was a notion known within the military only. Compared to the west, we were indeed virgins in many senses, the first pornographic illustrated magazine saw it around 1978, that was a huge shock, somebody took it from the west behind the iron curtain. It was a shock because I was in the military at that time and the boys were very enthusiastic to what they saw…you can imagine, the toilet was full all night…such thing could not have long life however, so the story went out very quickly to the officers… they came in and ordered and investigation, forcing us to open our private boxes, turning up side down everything, until they get those pictures, magazines. Sadly, they were not crypted and the whole regiment get crazy in the next two days, culminating with a forced march on the hills and marshes in full equipment and sometimes with gas-masques on face…Next day, on the parade alley (gathering point) in the camp, the commander, with one piece of a playboy magazine in his hand, announced solemnly : ” here, look what is doing the Romanian soldier…paw material..! this is but a grave infection of our moral values by imperialist forces who seek to destroy the will and fighting spirit of this entire generation…” Needless to say, when the soldiers (some 2000 at that time in a mil.unit), hearing such word as “paw material” were very amused, after all.. waves of laughing went from one end to the other and even the scream of commander and other officers couldn’t stop it in a blink of an eye.
Ioan, I note your post and will follow up in time!
But whether Julian and CSW are collaborators…..in Bitcoin (the “Real Bitcoin…..BSV….say the blokes on BSV Channel…”not this BTC fraud that cannot DO anything…” ..where I work on my Little Londoner accent….near 7 decades of catching up to do!)..or enemies, antagonists…????…..I admit, is not the most urgent question of the day!
It seems. Notre Dame and Julian seem more the “burning” issues.
And in regard to the latter, he (and not CSW!) are answered by Dan Bongino in the following Most Burning Question of This Week:
“Who Holds The Keys To the Kingdom” (The Kingdom being: The answer to “Where did Julian get the Hillary and Podesta emails from, if not the Russian Made-Up Hackers of Obama’s and Hillary’s imagination??}
Bongino says, Two People Hold The Keys to the Kingdom”:
1. Julian Assange
2. Dana Boente
Dana WHO????
The answer is very enlightening, perhaps, as BOENTE is related very “powerfully” I would put it….to Assange ….and his arrest.
I highly recommend the first 30 minutes of this by Bongino:
https://youtu.be/kyt7apdF4ns
Ep. 959 The Curious Case of Julian Assange. The Dan Bongino Show 4/16/2019.
Could that shot of Julian in custody, in or near the police van, but smiling and giving a “thumbs up” make more sense, now?
Oh for crying out loud!
Three minutes of ads on playback of the above Dan Bongino Episode 959!
Here: https://youtu.be/kyt7apdF4ns?t=173
Skips the opening ads and BS
Yes … “for crying out loud” … is it at all possible that such commenters “bullet point” their main points, stop repeating … stop padding and just say what they want to say … PLEASE !
Facial expressions of self opinion are time wasting and hinder.
I cannot spend my time waiting waiting waiting for the case to be made …
This is American time wasting garbage !
To be fair, Englishman Paul Watson is also good at this, and Brazilian journalist Pepe Escobar also dabbles.
Technically speaking … there is too much irrelevant “noise” and noise is a technical term used in studies of “Technical Communication”, which I have studied and found useful in everyday life.
“Skips the opening ads and BS”
You skipped the whole propaganda spiel then? Dan bongino is a raving zionazi propagandist, full stop. He screeches like an upset new york queen who wasn’t promoted to first in line. :-D
Seriously, the guy was secret service during the bill clinton regime and a full on neocon, israeli loyalist. A secret service agent loyal to israel rather than the usa. Think about it. The israeli propagandist is a staunch, hard core defender of the likud policies zionazia has tasked trump & co. to accomplish in their pindo colony.
But good to see you break cover. ;-D
I’m really sorry Bro – this is a bunch of bs and an hour wasted. What did he actually say about Assange … basically sweet fanny adams. Assange has the Key makes no sense because we don’t know. It is again an attempt to justify an arrest and a rendition and besides, Assange has answered the questions of where the various data dumps came from. None of these clowns even know that – they cannot answer the most basic of factual question. This is clickbait to sell product. This guy would fit well on the Home Shopping Network or something like that.
You know what I see in all the new exploding conspiracy theories about the arrest of Assange, I see a whole bunch of talking heads with no clue. If you asked any of them a simple question … What Did Assange Actually Say, or What did Wikileaks Say, or Did you see Bill Binney’s and the VIPS technical analysis, they just don’t know and glaze over. They make it up as they go along and not doing any of us any favors. The youtubes and commentary is infested with people making vast leaps of flawed imagination. This fellow is truly uneducated on all things Assange.
That video should be titled – a whole bunch of bs connecting everything in the kitchen sink to something that may just be described as ‘dirty dishes’ and he failed at making sense of even that, followed by a whole big rant about Sanders and then some exceedingly stupid comments on capitalism and communism.
I’m with vot tak and Павел (Paul)
No problem!
How else would I EVER learn so much about Bongino…….who YOU (amarynth) reported on favorably in the past, by the way!
When you resonated emotionally with what he had to say back a year or two ago on something else.
Personally, I don’t care to much for the “jocks in the locker room” type of presentation feel to his show………but it’s good to test your prejudices ….very often…..otherwise you’re just stuck in the same “Amen” Chorus, learning almost nothing new.
That’s why I spent the 30 minutes.Thanks to you…. LOL.
But I don’t think these things are so simple…….let more come to light TODAY!
Also, what about Dana Boente??? Don’t deflect!!
These subtleties and contradictions are “meaningless” to the Amen Chorus…..or indicative of something worthy of further study, perhaps???
Like the plain fact that there are forces within the USA that want out of the Perpetual Conflict Among Great Powers Imperial Trap.
But many here (and there and everywhere) will have NONE of that possibility!
So much easier and more fun to throw the baby out with the bath water, you know. Black and White it is! So much simpler and headache-free!
No gray!
And That Perpetual Trap is all they know.
And it is all about picking sides for them, continuing the conflict, (“What ELSE could there ever possibly be????”) not creatively upending the entire trap. Oh NO! THAT would NEVER do!
Because: The conflict is SO emotionally engrossing!
Without it, what on earth would we, could we do???
Plenty!
All that is coming to light today, is that it was all Russia’s fault and they are the bad guys and they interfered in the 2016 election.
Read it and weep. The first few paragraphs tell you that the narrative is being shifted and Russia are the baddies that interfered, as well as Wikileaks who are the thieves. (I heard this in the statement this morning as well, and had to change the channel cause I could not listen any longer).
https://www.scribd.com/document/406728825/Mueller-Report-searchable#from_embed
Back to reading the thing, instead of listening to the talking heads.
So far … and I’m only on page 12:
Russia very very very bad
Orange man very very very good
Lots of people lied
Americans very very very super extra angelically good
Wikileaks bad bad bad thief that stole documents
Don’t know what is in the rest yet.
The narrative I increasingly hear from the bat-faeces insane Democrats, Clintonite feminazis still riven with rage that ‘our turn’ was upended by Trump and ‘the deplorables’ and their Austfailian clones, is that a conspiracy between Putin, Assange and Trump rigged the US election and delivered the triumph to Trump. For a long time it was just ‘Russian meddling’, the magic puppy pictures published after the election was over, that interfered in the Holy process, and only lunatics would hint that it, and not Clinton’s unelectability, her rubbish campaigning, the Cambridge Analytica interventions, the eight years of betrayal by Obama, the electoral role purges by the Republicans, the forty years of neo-liberal class warfare, the huge abstention rate after the Sanders scam,Trump’s lying promises etc won the election for the Orange Utan. But then, slowly, then ever quicker, the Gadarenes began hinting that Putin won it for Trump, that Russia ‘massively’, ‘hugely’, ‘sweepingly’, interfered, and then Assange was added to the list, and all the inconsequential meetings with Russians, some diplomatic contacts (now criminalised by the Clintonite psychopaths)others plain set-ups by the likes of Downer, Mifsud, Halper and Goldberg, were turned into a vast conspiracy to deny the blood-soaked Harpy her deserved victory. It really is like an attack of mass madness, like a pathopsychological St. Vituses Dance, where infection is compulsory and refusal to join in sign that you are a ‘Putinbot’. Those who long ago sold their ‘souls’ to Devils like Murdoch, the NYT, WaPo, the BBC, the Guardian etc, have no moral, intellectual or spiritual defences left, if they ever had any in the first place.
in Blighty we actually know the meaning of Q-we Q for owt ,Kew you eee you ee Cherokee was never discussed,I don’t get it that you all so impressionable-call 0121-do one.
Sometimes we read here the vain hope that the US will reform itself. That the leaders are to blame but not the people. But as I have posted about before, the rot is too deep. And nothing except military or economic collapse will bring change to the US. An observation shown to be ever so true by the latest polling done in the US (and worldwide) on the Assange and Wikileaks issue. Here are a couple of passages from an article on this problem.
“By overwhelming margins, Americans thought that their Government should have an unqualified right to hide from the public, basically, anything it wants to hide. The U.S. Government actually does possess unlimited authority to categorize whatever it wants, as being “Classified.” Overwhelming majorities of the U.S. public approve of this root-principle of dictatorship. Assange is being condemned, fundamentally, because he violates that intrinsic principle (government-secrecy, regardless of how arbitrarily it is imposed), of dictatorship, anywhere.”
“An interesting sidelight to these findings, of an extremely pro-dictatorship U.S. public — and with Great Britain being right behind (though not nearly as pro-dictatorship as Americans are) — is that, in 2002 and 2003, the national press in each of those two countries was so strongly controlled by the government as to deceive (via their stenographic ‘news’-media) their respective public into invading Iraq, on the basis of that stenographic reporting by the nation’s press of the government’s lies against Iraq. This is the result of both countries being dictatorships. This is true irrespective of whether Iraq also was.”
By 3-to-1, Americans Want Assange Prosecuted
By overwhelming margins, Americans thought that their Government should have an unqualified right to hide from the public, basically, anything it wants to hide.
http://theduran.com/by-3-to-1-americans-want-assange-prosecuted/
I share your sentiment. A couple of my friends have become brainwashed by the Q-Anon cult, to the point that any criticism of Donald Trump is a personal insult to them! While they want reform and to see the Clintons & the deep state executed, they continue to excuse major foreign policy action, latest example being Julian Assange, as being part of some “complex & majestic plan.” Yet when I asked if they would contribute even $5 to Assange’s defence fund, they say they are too poor, thus it is better to “trust the plan.”
Sadly, I think a decisive military defeat of the USA that cannot be spun away like Vietnam, is the quickest way to finally bring down the AZ empire.
Here in Austfailia the presstitute vermin of the fakestream media sewer STILL refuse to acknowledge their role in the transparent propaganda fraud that led to the aggression and genocide in Iraq. In my opinion that makes them complicit, before and after the acts of these Supreme Crimes, and deserving of the Streicher ‘neck stretch’. I’ll take that back, in the interests of humanity, and substitute life in a prison cell the size of Assange’s over these last few years, with no cats or sunlight allowed.
On a previous open thread I had a serious question to which one person answered, but I did not make enough time to follow up with. The question was: Would it be possible to re-unite a reformed Soviet Union? If so:
*What form of government would it take?
*Which republics, or parts thereof, would join?
*Who would be the key leaders, apart from Putin?
*Which social reforms would the new USSR require to differentiate from the old one?
*Are there any institutions or laws from the old USSR that would be welcomed in the new one?
*How long would it take for the new Soviet military to be as effective as the current Russian military?
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Replying to Ioan, who said a reformed Soviet Union must include Ukraine:
*Would Donbass be enough of the Ukraine to make a “new” USSR viable, or must it go up to the Dnieper river?
*What if Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan (sp?), Tajikstan, Armenia, Abkazia (sp?), & Malorossia rejoin, would it be viable in your view?
A question I would ask is “Would the Russian people today (all of them, not just the nostalgic oldies) want a reformed USSR reinstated?”
But regardless of the result of the poll there is no going back for anyone in this life, there is only onwards, as some old Persian guy once remarked on the nature of time:
“The moving finger writes; and, having writ, moves on: nor all thy piety nor wit shall lure it back to cancel half a line, nor all thy tears wash out a word of it.
— Omar Khayyam
…
Nor will I: ever write a word that fades in light, this I must be certain; else lay desolate at bight.”
― Omar Khayyam, Rubáiyát of Omar Khayyám
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rubaiyat_of_Omar_Khayyam
Fair enough Minion.
A YouTube video I saw recently, originally made in 2016, stated over 58% of Russians wanted a restoration of the Soviet Union, & it was even higher in the former Central Asian republics. The most common reasons cited for restoring the USSR:
*Higher quality of life
*Genuine respect/fear of Moscow
*High level of technological development
Most recent video that I could find: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FYp3jAqwk1Q
I would like to see a Russian report (with English or French subtitles) with interviews of average Russian citizens, if one exists.
Finally, forgive me if this is a naive point of view, but I think the West would treat Vladimir Putin with more respect if he was President of the USSR instead of “merely” President of the Russian Federation. After all, even John Bolton must realise that fighting 335 million Soviet citizens would be a lot harder than fighting 147 million Russians.
That would be 58% of Russians polled, presumably, not 58% of the current 147 million you state, as clearly only a smaller sample was polled? (Most of these polls take a sample size of about 1000)
I would then want to know the size of the smaller sample, and how the sample was selected—why poll this person and not that one? Who is pushing this information and to what purpose? What is the agenda behind the asserted ‘result’?
It is very easy to skew the results of a poll, its called ‘advertising’ and shedloads of cash are thrown at producing the preferred result for whoever commissioned the poll.
An entire, highly paid industry has formed to manipulate statistics for PR purposes, so I would treat any sweeping statement such as ‘58% of Russians’ as advertising, pure and simple, not remotely connected to reality on the ground.
That’s a hoary old one, anyhow. Remember the famous cigarettes ads, ‘70% (paste in any number you like) of doctors smoke Camels?’ Is that a reason to smoke Camels or a reason to doubt the taste and sanity of men in white coats? Quoting spurious statistics is a sure sign of a weak argument, and an attempt to hoodwink the listener.

‘The earliest instance of the phrase found in print dates to a letter written in the British newspaper National Observer on June 8, 1891, published June 13, 1891, p. 93(-94): NATIONAL PENSIONS [To the Editor of The National Observer] London, 8 June 1891
“Sir, —It has been wittily remarked that there are three kinds of falsehood: the first is a ‘fib,’ the second is a downright lie, and the third and most aggravated is statistics. It is on statistics and on the absence of statistics that the advocate of national pensions relies…”
Its a fascinating subject:

Slightly OT, but still relevant to the general point of opinion influencing, there is a story of a shampoo manufacturer in the 1950’s reaching the market saturation point for his product. Not surprisingly, there is a limit to the amount of shampoo anyone needs to buy, each of us having only one head apiece and not everyone with a full head of hair.
Some ingenious marketing type then altered the instructions on the bottle, directing the user to shampoo twice every time rather than the previous once. Sales took off and doubled, everyone else caught on and copied the trick, a new market for conditioner was invented to cure the oil-stripping results of too much shampooing, and the marketing con of shampooing twice is now considered the standard amongst the ‘experts,’ anything less is frowned upon.
That is salesmanship under capitalism—create a spurious ‘need’ or worry that nobody knows they have until told, then sell them something to cure it.
‘I would like to see a Russian report (with English or French subtitles) with interviews of average Russian citizens, if one exists.’
Why demand a report, tailored to your needs? If you were that interested you could hop on a plane (avoiding the Boeing 737 max, if possible) or hitch a ride on a fishing boat and go and find out for yourself. Russia is a beautiful and varied country and the people are like people everywhere, just trying to get by. It is phenomenally different to the homogeneity that has afflicted the west in the past several decades, as in ‘you know you’re not in Kansas anymore’, something that cannot be said for most western towns and cities today, which could be cookie-cutters of anywhere else.
You could talk to average Russians, face-to-face, (beware the babushkas though, they are terrifyingly tough old birds and don’t mind letting you know it) and find out for yourself rather than second-hand.
The word ‘respect’ carries an unspoken undertone of real fear. I think the US demonstrates its respect of Russia with every sanction, every smear in the press, every Mueller mess of an enquiry. If you don’t fear something you, generally speaking, pay it no attention at all.
Polls are designed, every question, how it’s worded, other questions, worded differently, but asking the same thing, it’s a tool for control. Spent a few years working for a polling company, just another business for the .01% to manipulate the ‘narritive’. All top down .01% info is for controling the masses, ever heard of ‘fake news’, ‘scripted news’ ‘fake history’, do not the winners write the narritive to suit their views? We live in the reality of unreality, and the masses accept it as ‘gospel’ written and accounted for by the , wait for it………………..the 01%ers. The root of all evil stems from the SUPREME LIE, that some are choosen and others are not, once we get rid of ‘the choosen’ mindset, the world enters it’s Aquarian phase……………..let’s get to work. Lots of .01%ers things to boycott. It’s all about the scheckles.
And as we enter and contemplate the somberness of Easter, remember Jesus did not die for my sins or anyone else`s sins, as the “controlled corrupted“ church likes to claim……………he was murdered for commiting the ‘origional sin; going against the .01%ers, that is learned from actually reading the bible, rather than having someone interpit it for you.
… culture cannot be switched off like a light switch …
The USSR was collapsed at the request of the west which is a long story.
The peace loving caring west has failed the “test” for peaceful co-existence so what is Russia to do.
Soviet culture did not do a disappearing act in 1991, it made a transformation into Federation, but these are just labels … words.
What we see today is a merger of Soviet and Federation … a Hybrid that is going places … and it is adjusting dynamically day by day … hour by hour … to survive.

Stalin’s Approval Rating Among Russians Hits Record High – Poll
https://www.themoscowtimes.com/2019/04/16/stalins-approval-rating-among-russians-hits-record-high-poll-a65245
Yes, “culture cannot be switched off like a light switch…” and let’s not forget the immense sacrifice made by all Soviet peoples of the former USSR in the second world war and the tremendous reconstruction effort made by the same people, adding the great and grave challenges which emerged in the cold -war era what followed the second world war. In my eyes – and most importantly in the eyes of those peoples – all these sacrifices have been thrown out, washed away by those who did the biggest treason of the 20th century. I cannot accept to swallow so easily these facts, even if some may argue that it couldn’t be other way and it must happen how it happened. What happened is a great tragedy which affected millions of people , not just in former USSR but in the whole Eastern Europe as well…and beyond. Most probably Yugoslavia would be today on the map, as a united country as it was. Sadly, I don’t see how all these happenings – which are now facts – can ever be reversed. It would take a lot of time and even if a restoration of USSR will come true, that wouldn’t be what it was to be, if, if, the reforms would have been taken in time, with proper people at helm. The last generation of those who have memories of that past being closer and closer to their end times on this earth, what remains is history. Lot to tell, too little time left.

I suggest you read the interview Saker / Dmitry Orlov where Dmitry touches on this in the first section on the Ukraine:
“If you are in need of an explanation for why Russia is now resurgent, increasingly prosperous and able to invest vast sums in hypersonic weapons systems and in modernized infrastructure for its people, this is it: the 14 piglets had been sent off to root for themselves. This bit of perspective, by the way, puts paid to the rank idiocy of Zbigniew Brzezinski’s “Grand Chessboard”: his theory that Russia wants to be an empire but cannot do so without the Ukraine shatters on contact with the realization that Russia hasn’t been an empire for over a century now and has no need or desire to become one again.”
/the-saker-interviews-dmitry-orlov/
And then, (but you will have to go and search), Vesti News has had various videos discussing this very same issue and I remember some polls with numbers. But, it will be a search to find this discussion among the rest.

“…his theory that Russia wants to be an empire but cannot do so without the Ukraine shatters on contact with the realization that Russia hasn’t been an empire for over a century now and has no need or desire to become one again.” – this is exactly what I disagree with Dmitry Orlov. Whatever Zbigniew Brzezinski’s “Grand Chessboard” assumptions regarding a Russian Empire – although, in reality, in his concept, he assumes that Russia will seek to revive the old style Soviet Union as some kind of Communist revenge, (not that I would feel guilt if that would ever happen) but in the same time it would be naive – in my view – to suppose that the new Russia will seek to be just a second class player. It doesn’t mean that will seek to be again an Empire (the very wording is misleading) though, it will seek nevertheless to be an important player because of the realities on the ground (on the grand chessboard) which are developing in a negative way, exactly, after the collapse of the Soviet Union. The wise guys in Kremlin know that very well, it was an it is a very hard lesson to learn. The new Russia will have to reunite with Ukraine , not just for obvious historical reasons which are deeper than the Soviet Union, but for strategical reasons also – a simple look at the map shows that. What I am asking though, is why on earth should Russia fear such a contempt ? isn’t in her right to do so ? hasn’t the Russians payed with their blood for that territory which is their own ? Who the hell is the International Community to tell them not to do it ?
ioan, I don’t think that I have the depth of knowledge to even comment. I was just passing on bits of info that I came across.
What I can bring to the discussion is this morning’s Attorney General William Barr’s speech on the Mueller report. The first 15 minutes was Russia Bad! Orange Man Good! There was other stuff as well, that Trump admin did not collude with the Russians and I don’t comment on that. The Russia bashing was first and repetitive and mind-numbing and so obviously in almost a sing-song mind-controlling rhythm made for shaping American minds internally, that I turned it off in a snit fit and did not want to hear any more. So in such a toxic environment I have the utmost respect for the Russians for remaining pragmatic and not shooting up a few NATO bases just for sh!ts and grins to show that they can do it.
So, to speculate on a future trajectory for Russia to again re-incorporate all/some USSR elements, just seems to me something that can wait for the current toxicity to end, one way or the other. I may be very wrong on this and I won’t even know that I’m way off the mark. The Russians are playing the long game in relation to the Ukraine, the long game in relation to Syria, the long game in relation to Venezuela now. China has made some serious commenting about Venezuela and they’re not giving way. The Chinese ambassador to Chile just recently said and I was amazed at the language because their language is usually more muted –
Pompeo has lost his mind and has gone too far.
We’re also (and each Russian and each Chinese commentator confirms), that we are turning some kind of corner and will probably end up in a multi-polarity. The US is now trying to own Central and South America again. So, the overall large geo-political arena is being shaken and changed and I hope that multi-polarity is not US/West side owning a ‘sphere of influence’, and China/Russia side also owning a ‘sphere of influence’ and the current sick level of fighting continuing with Europe happily fornicating with them all – or some such picture.
How to combine that with a Russian move to again ‘own’ previous territory – I struggle to put that piece into the big picture – lack of knowledge I guess.
Going on intuition, Girard’s mimectic “theory” (see Oughourlian, Psychopolitics ; Girard Battling to the End ) no.
But as mentioned below, culture can’t be switched off like a light switch. My own thoughts is that the USSR was a transitory metastable configuration balancing many factors, ( Russian Nationalism, Finance?) such that it wasn’t appreciated until it was gone. I’m probably not helpful.
For what this is worth, more evidence that statecraft is stagecraft.
Back when I was more interested in the history of communism and talked to people who were born into it and experienced its ups and downs first hand, I heard from several sources (and seem to remember reading in Zhukov’s memoir?) that Uncle Joe had been a Tsarist spy before seeing where his bread was better buttered and switching sides. I won’t read your MM link, I already know what it will say so will save myself that needless chore, but did follow up on Girard’s theory on mimetics, which definitely corresponds to my own observations and knowledge of what makes humans tick and how and why the psychological ‘mechanisms’ work so unerringly for so many. Active brainwashing by an evil entity isn’t required, we willingly do it to ourselves and then convince ourselves that it is what ‘God’ (insert any deity) wants. The rationalisation and explanation always follows the deed, rarely is it honestly examined beforehand to evaluate outcomes, etc.
I was going to claim to be another dog-in-the-manger but will avoid that particular mimesis, just in case. Trouble is, I don’t think much of creative originality either, there being little evidence of it being anything other than extremely fleeting general notions that some bright spark takes up, publicises and is then socially sanctioned as being the creator and hey, another myth is born.
Thanks for the Girard pointer, a very interesting read.

Will the US win the battle of Caracas yet lose the war? Not a clear-cut Waterloo but rather a dragging, bleeding wound of a Borodino? With a “victoriy”like that they won’t need a defeat.
What analogies will bring us clarity in these times?

Unfortunately, his plea will most likely fall on deaf ears. Wahhabisim will continue being the knife in our backs. Until enough of the Muslim world wakes up to the Wahhabi threat and by extension also sees it’s connection to both Zionism and western imperialism(the US being the prime mover of this faction, of course others can also be lumped into this group).
Belgium noted it had 109 salafist establishments the other day I think I read?
Probably twice that number in the UK. Blair brokered a deal with the Saudi’s during his tenure and they funded the building of Mosques, madrassas and schools all over the UK but particularly in poorer areas where government didn’t want to spend on schools. Needless to say, with Saudi funding came Wahabi influenced teachers and preachers. I have no problems with muslims, personally, but it seems that our next bunch of salafists will be totally home-grown.
Just to add to the general joy that our leaders inspire, in the side bar is a report on unclassified CIA docs from the 1970’s showing that UK, France and W. Germany wanted to import the notorious ‘Operation Condor’, the murderous regime of death squads in certain S American states which was being widely reported on, so not secret, in those times, to Europe. Along with the Gladio business, which was proven in the Italian courts and Belgian parliament, it doesn’t say much at all for the results of the human experiment, so far. It made me feel quite ill, just reading it:
https://alethonews.com/2019/04/17/cia-docs-shows-uk-france-and-west-germany-wanted-to-bring-operation-condor-to-europe/
Something else that made me feel quite ill was a report someone made on some of the family silver (publically funded industries) sold off to big international corporations by the neo-cons since Thatcher the milk snatcher had her day in the limelight. It has happened openly and incrementally over the years, everyone has known about it and this is just a tip of the iceberg, but seeing something written down in one place does bring the shocking reality home to roost. Ukania’s Great Privatisation Heist’:
‘Margaret Thatcher was very good at telling tall tales. Ukania’s tragedy is that far too many Brits fell for these tales.
Probably the biggest of these tales concerned the notion of a share-owning democracy.
The idea here was simple, but utterly misguided – sell off the publicly-owned enterprises, and everyone will be able to buy shares in the newly privatized companies. By buying however many shares you want, you will become a part of Thatcher’s great British share-owning democracy.’
https://www.counterpunch.org/2019/03/20/ukanias-great-privatization-heist/
Its chillingly similar to the great sell-off that happened in Russia, albeit UK.gov did it drawn out over decades while the Russians got shockingly hammered in a few short years. Similar result though, penury all round, since the ideology is the same.
Thatcher visited the USSR and later Gorbachev visited Thatcher and then to the USA.

Thanks for the replies. Well the Wahhabi trend or ideology is a malignant disease. I studied this trend for more then a decade. I used to go out and warn my Muslim friends about the dangers this ideology is going to cause within the Muslim world(also outside of it, sadly with the help of the Zio/West elites), back before many of my friends even knew “wahhabisim” was even a thing. So its something that I am acutely aware of. The problem with this topic, both in the Muslim and Non-Muslim world, is ignorance of the topic. Thankfully more are becoming aware of it. Sadly it took things like Daesh running roughshod over Iraq and Syria for many to add this term within their vocabulary. However events like that, made many come to terms with this Wahhabi disease. The Saker is someone I respect, because he, to my knowledge at least, always called this Wahhabi cult out for what it really is, which basically boils down to a tool in the hands of the Zio/West.
The other thing I would like to say, is wahhabisim is not Islam. I mean this from a theoretical study of their beliefs. When I say this I am separating this from many of their visible actions around the middle east and the world at large. These bloody, criminal actions are alone to take them outside of Islam, but what I’m saying is they were not Muslims even before these actions. Meaning even if they were peaceful Wahhabis who didn’t commit any of these atrocities, they still have certain beliefs that once you delve into them, take them outside the boundaries of Islam. Many people, both Muslim and non-Muslim don’t know this, because you have to at least understand Islam to a sufficient degree, to then be able to say which sects or ideologies fall within its borders and which go outside of it. The truth is Muslim scholars(both Sunni and Shi’i) have called this Wahhabi cult out since its inception (more then 200 plus years ago). Of course these books are ignored, because the West/Zio world wants to create a reality where wahhabisim is equated with Islam, and they also want Muslims to become Wahhabi, so they can continue having a reason to be in the middle east and also use them as cannon fodder in whatever arena they choose. Many books were written on this topic, calling this group out as heretics, and people whos beliefs take them outside the fold of Islam. Many books are written to this day, showing the history of this Wahhabi cult. The Wahhabi teachings were so backwards, they never really gained a foothold outside of the region it originated from(eastern parts of the Arabian peninsula). That was until the British came and cut a deal with the Saud family, which was already aligned with the family which created wahhabisim. Eventually you got the formation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, a family which promised it would promote the Wahhabi beliefs. Not long after that the Zionist state of Israel was created by the same players. However even with the formation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, wahhabisim was still having a tough time gaining any traction in the larger Muslim world. Until eventually the Saudi kingdom was flush with funds from its abundant Petrol reserve. This combination of immense wealth, and their alliance with the zio/west world, gave them the opportunity to go and export this rotten ideology wherever they liked. They went and spread their ideology through funding Mosques, and Madrassas, around the world. They also took advantage of the various satellite channels to export their ideology. So once the Muslim’s became ignorant, it was easy for these Wahhabis to come and say “we are Muslims, and this is what Islam is.”
So JJ I am not surprised that the Wahhabis have all those organizations in Belgium. The western world turned a blind eye while all these rotten players were consolidating power, they are all in bed together. They want wahhabisim to spread, they need it so they can continue presenting this as their version of “true Islam.”
Old Minion, yes I agree. The Wahhabis are going to come out of the western world, this was by design, not an accident. The truth is many in the Muslim world now know about the Wahhabis, and understand what kind of threat they constitute. You can only pull off so many crimes, until the people realize what you are. So it’s easier to spread this amongst people who are a little bit more removed, making the western countries a prime target for the continued spread of Wahhabism. This is why its crucial and I said this in my original post for people to understand, both muslims and non muslims, the threat, and connection between Wahhabism and western imperialism and Zionism.
Peace.
This is a quick synopsis of the history of the Wahhabis. I could say a lot more on this but I don’t want to make the post to long.
The Sordid Barbarians have spent billions proselytising the Wahhabist genocide-cult in Indonesia, too. The poisonous fruit are already apparent, with Indonesian Islam, long peaceable and non-aggressive, ever more dominated by typical Wahhabist thugs and would-be butchers. This will be a great catastrophe in the near future, but only one of many sown by Thanatopolis DC and its two chief allies, the theocratic pathocracies of Sordid Barbaria and Talmudistan. For one thing, Indonesia will become mostly uninhabitable within decades as the wet-bulb temperature exceeds 35 degrees Celsius, the limit of human somatic tolerance. So tens of millions will have to flee, or die, and they will not be heading north, that’s for sure.
Apologies Dimitar, I didn’t skip your beautiful poem, very true. Thank you !
Nothing to apologise for, cheers…
An interesting poll taken worldwide asking which country do you think is more of a threat to your country, the US or Russia. In most of the world (though not all of it) the US is seen as more of a threat than Russia.
https://viableopposition.blogspot.com/2019/03/which-is-greater-threat-russia-or.html
The Russians know that the US is threatening them.
On March 14, Russia’s National Security Council, headed by President Putin, officially raised its perception of American intentions toward Russia from “military dangers” (opasnosti) to direct “military threats” (ugrozy). In short, the Kremlin is preparing for war, however defensive its intention.

VIPS Fault Mueller Probe, Criticize Refusal to Interview Assange

The bug in Mueller’s report released on Thursday is that he accepts that the Russian government interfered in the election. Trump should challenge that, says VIPS. (Ray McGovern, Bill Binney, etc)

MEMORANDUM FOR: The President
FROM: Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity (VIPS)
SUBJECT: The Fly in the Mueller Ointment
April 16, 2019
Mr. President:
The song has ended but the melody lingers on. The release Thursday of the redacted text of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s “Report on the Investigation into Russian Interference in the 2016 Presidential Election” nudged the American people a tad closer to the truth on so-called “Russiagate.”
But the Mueller report left unscathed the central-but-unproven allegation that the Russian government hacked into the DNC and Podesta emails, gave them to WikiLeaks to publish, and helped you win the election. The thrust will be the same; namely, even if there is a lack of evidence that you colluded with Russian President Vladimir Putin, you have him to thank for becoming president. And that melody will linger on for the rest of your presidency, unless you seize the moment.
Mueller has accepted that central-but-unproven allegation as gospel truth, apparently in the lack of any disinterested, independent forensic work. Following the odd example of his erstwhile colleague, former FBI Director James Comey, Mueller apparently has relied for forensics on a discredited, DNC-hired firm named CrowdStrike, whose credibility is on a par with “pee-tape dossier” compiler Christopher Steele. Like Steele, CrowdStrike was hired and paid by the DNC (through a cutout).
We brought the lack of independent forensics to the attention of Attorney General William Barr on March 13 in a Memorandum entitled “Mueller’s Forensic-Free Findings”, but received no reply or acknowledgement. In that Memorandum we described the results of our own independent, agenda-free forensic investigation led by two former Technical Directors of the NSA, who avoid squishy “assessments,” preferring to base their findings on fundamental principles of science and the scientific method. Our findings remain unchallenged; they reveal gaping holes in CrowdStrike’s conclusions.
We do not know if Barr shared our March 13 Memorandum with you. As for taking a public position on the forensics issue, we suspect he is being circumspect in choosing his battles carefully, perhaps deferring until later a rigorous examination of the dubious technical work upon which Mueller seems to have relied.
Barr’s Notification to Congress
As you know, the big attention-getter came on March 24 when Attorney General William Barr included in his four-page summary a quote from Mueller’s report: “The investigation did not establish that members of the Trump campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities.” Understandably, that grabbed headlines — the more so, since most Americans had been convinced earlier by the media that the opposite was true.
There remains, however, a huge fly in the ointment. The Mueller report makes it clear that Mueller accepts as a given — an evidence-impoverished given — that the Russian government interfered in the election on two tracks:
Track 1 involves what Barr, echoing Mueller, claims “a Russian organization, the Internet Research Agency (IRA)” did in using social media “to sow social discord, eventually with the aim of interfering with the election.” A careful look at this allegation shows it to be without merit, despite Herculean efforts by The New York Times, for example, to put lipstick on this particular pig. After some rudimentary research, award winning investigative reporter Gareth Porter promptly put that pig out of its misery and brought home the bacon. We do not believe “Track 1” merits further commentary.
Track 2 does need informed commentary, since it is more technical and — to most Americans — arcane. In Barr’s words: “The Special Counsel found that Russian government actors successfully hacked into computers and obtained emails from persons affiliated with the Clinton campaign and Democratic Party organizations, and publicly disseminated those materials through various intermediaries, including WikiLeaks. Based on these activities, the Special Counsel brought criminal charges against a number of Russian military officers for conspiring to hack into computers in the United States for purposes of influencing the election.”
We are eager to see if Mueller’s report contains more persuasive forensic evidence than that which VIPS has already debunked. In Barr’s summary, the only mention of forensics refers to “forensic accountants” — a far cry from the kind of forensic investigators needed to provide convincing proof of “hacking” by the Russian government.”
Enough of Mueller’s Lame Kangaroo Going Nowhere BS
Bring forth the expert witnesses that it was a DNC insider download onto a storage device….not a hack over the internet………..and the Biggest Political Scandal In American History ……….falsely accusing Russia……AND Trump…………. can be ripped out down to the roots.
It’s true: If he doesn’t do it, he’s worthless.

I would NOT count on that sort of wanton wastefulness……just quite yet
” Trump should challenge that, says VIPS. (Ray McGovern, Bill Binney, etc)”

What we are now seeing is the next phase of the zionazi-gay psywar and trump is just as much “in on it” as he was on the collusion nonsense.

Nice rant from Sheridan:
It’s Not Personal but the Tories Are ‘Lower Than Vermin’ – Never Vote Tory
https://sputniknews.com/columnists/201904171074210043-uk-tory-policies/
“So God was creating man. And his little assistant came up to him and he said: “Hey, we’ve got all these bodies left, but we’re right out of brains, we’re right out of hearts and we’re right out of vocal chords.” And God said: “Fuck it! Sew ’em up anyway. Smack smiles on the faces and make them talk out of their arses.” And lo, God created the Tory Party”.
That’s hardly a rant by Tommy’s standards, he can really let rip. Its quite a measured recounting of the facts that cannot be denied by anyone who had their eyes and ears open at the time. The wounds (and the fresh grotesqueries from ‘austerity’) from those policies are still bleeding in the pits and industrial cities. Thatcher called the miners ‘the enemy within’ and declared that there was no such thing as society before throwing everything at trying to make her point come true after the statement.
I’m very much taken with the theories of collective consciousness, cosmic consciousness, morphic fields and resonance and the noosphere, a type of field of consciousness that encompasses and pervades the Earth, and has been created over the aeons by the activity of sentient beings on the planet. I am even inclined to imagine that our brains are not just calculating machines, but also antennae for communicating with this noosphere. And, undoubtedly, there must be a Dark Noosphere, a field created by the Evil that has been done in the past, mostly, I would say, by our species and our close relatives over recent ages. I think that this Field of Wickedness is what drives the monsters who rule over us, and which some more ambitious of these evil-doers have worked to make contact with and draw diabolical power from, over the millennia. To commit atrocities, particularly against children, seems to be a preferred path to approach and enter the infernal regions, and draw power from them.
Yes, I can see some credibility to such theories too, but make a point of walking swiftly away from anyone mentioning the word ‘noosphere’ as it always tracks back to some very woolly thinking and so, for me, is a signifier of a dead end and a waste of my time, (not to mention my rapidly diminishing brain cells) since such ideas can and have been communicated in much more concrete ways, for aeons. It was invented by New Age types who are not in fact so new, dating back to the fin de siècle/early 1900’s ‘Wandervogel’ that grew out of the youthful disillusions of that time:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wandervogel
Another such signifier is the use of ‘cultural marxism’ which immediately tells me that the speaker has never read Marx, doesn’t have a clue what he wrote about and picks up any scattered knowledge that they might have from random youtube vids that are heavy on the rant and light on genuine information. I similarly vote with my feet, swiftly in the opposite direction.
‘Cultural Marxism’ is one of the pet phrases utilised by our Murdochite paragons, particularly in his ‘Australian’ flag-shit. Then there is ‘post-modernism’ which fills them with dread and rage, ‘the march through the institutions’, ‘Gaia worship’ (ie opposition to the destruction of Life on Earth) and sundry other cliches like ‘culture war’, ‘do-gooders’, ‘nanny-state busybodies’, ‘moral vanity’ etc, etc. It will be easy to automate and computerise the operation (if it has not already happened) with very little ‘intelligence’, artificial or otherwise, required.
But He had some body parts left over, some faecal matter and scraps of tissue, much necrotic or cancerous, and they were a real pollution hazard, so He conjured them up into semi-hominid form, and inserted the brains of a parasitic protozoon into each, and, Lo and Behold, he had created the political caste of Austfailia.
Oy Vey! Rabbi Reportedly Claims Notre Dame Fire May Be DIVINE PUNISHMENT
https://sputniknews.com/world/201904171074229346-rabbi-notre-dame-fire-divine-cause/
“According to the newspaper, Shlomo Aviner, a rabbi of a West Bank settlement who was born in France, initially refrained from directly calling the blaze a punishment from god, but admitted that it might be possible after he was asked the following question: “So it can’t be said that it was punishment?”
“It is possible, after all. The first big Talmud burning was in Paris, there in the plaza of the Notre Dame Cathedral”, the rabbi said.
Aviner also reportedly pointed out that while “there is no command to seek out Christian churches beyond Israel and burn them down. In our holy land, things are more complicated. Indeed the Rabbi of Satmar wrote that one of his reasons against immigration to Israel is that here the command to burn churches applies but it isn’t exercised”.

Cruelty
by ioan
A bug is walking on its way
A bird just saw him from afar
They met together on the street,
And died together hit by car
Adieu my buggy little wife
Wanted to meet you in the bush
But somebody just took my life
Together with a bird, in crush
Adieu my little ones in nest
I know you’re waiting now for me
But somebody just crushed my chest
Before I took the bug for free.
Life is cruel, life is sad
Without mercy, getting mad
What to hope for, what to wish
When is smashed like china dish ?
Thanks @ amarynth for the Peterson/Zizek link. I will be taking a rare (for me) punt and signing up for a listen despite the $15 fee and disregarding my profound disgust at further enriching Peterson.

For a moment I thought that the “Democratic” Wing of the Empire “Foreign Policy Expertise”, the Ghoulish Polish Zbigniew Brezinski was still alive, like his “Republican” Counterpart Heinz Kissinger!

Because Mike Whitney leads off his article with a long quote from Zbiggy:”The Realist” Globalist:
“The liberal world order, which lasted from the end of World War 2 until today, is rapidly collapsing. The center of gravity is shifting from west to east where China and India are experiencing explosive growth and where a revitalized Russia has restored its former stature as a credible global superpower. These developments, coupled with America’s imperial overreach (Bro: which HE advised and cheer-led….) and chronic economic stagnation, have severely hampered US ability to shape events or to successfully pursue its own strategic objectives. As Washington’s grip on global affairs continues to loosen and more countries reject the western development model, the current order will progressively weaken clearing the way for a multipolar world badly in need of a new security architecture. Western elites, who are unable to accept this new dynamic, continue to issue frenzied statements expressing their fear of a future in which the United States no longer dictates global policy.”
Wow! Sounds like if he were still kicking his “experience” might be a useful “friend and advisor” to a Bedeviled Humanity Seeking Peace through Development??
I think not.
I think what you have is a parasitic minion of the Rockefeller Family………realistically and instinctively thinking ahead about abandoning a Soon to be Used Up, Sucked Dry Host……and looking eastwards………..for fresh blood.
Hence the temporary “reasonableness” of the quoted paragraph from Brezinski shortly before his death two years ago at age 89.

Professor Carroll Quigley spent twenty years writing A History of The World In Our Time (1945-1965) and just because Tragedy and Hope is a cool Ying/Yang title, and lots of people like to authoritatively cite it without cracking open its 1,311 pages or certainly not finishing it, doesn’t mean I also think it’s the Gospel Truth or anything of the sort.

A female journalist was shot dead in Derry last night, 21 years after the signing of the Good Friday Agreement, which is currently under threat from the shambles uk.gov has made of Brexit.
Police are blaming the newly constituted IRA, while dissident republicans are blaming the police.
Such an incident has sadly been waiting for a significant opportunity, just like the recent murder of the female Labour MP. Entirely predictable.

So here’s the way Professor Quigley starts Part 3 of Tragedy & Hope-A History of The World In Our Time.
That would be mid-twenthieth century:50 Plus years ago, so be generous to the “dead white professor”!
Part Three—The Russian Empire to 1917
Chapter 7—Creation of the Russian Civilization
“In the nineteenth century most historians regarded Russia as part of Europe but it is now becoming increasingly clear that Russia is another civilization quite separate from Western Civilization. Both of these civilizations are descended from Classical Civilization, but the connection with this predecessor was made so differently that two quite different traditions came into existence. Russian traditions were derived from Byzantium directly; Western traditions were derived from the more moderate Classical Civilization indirectly, having passed through the Dark Ages when there was no state or government in the West.”
So far so good. However, in the interests of exploring the extreme boundary conditions of Bitcoin Theory (or any other poorly understood theory of extremely esoteric but critically important relevance.) I am going to skip ahead to the part of this chapter that deals with the extreme differences between the West (and the unscathed USA that Quigley wrote the book from, in academia 1945-1965). and Russia. Although the parts in between are worth revisiting later!
Disclaimer: I don’t endorse these views and my views on the actual benefits of “extremism”…in many fields of endeavor and thought will be expressed near the end of my discussio of all of this, in due time. Right now, I am just laying the necessary groundwork for the Extremes of Theory in the Cryptoverse…..to establish more Universal Relevancy there for My Outline of the Theory behind the ongoing Crypto Hive Mind Project.
Some of the theories I have digested and will present there could be almost as intriguing, enraging and interesting as Quigley’s Theories, and (additional disclaimer) many MUST be wrong. Since they are so contradictory, extreme…. and mutually exclusive.
So, skipping several pages ahead:
“In the West, the Roman Empire (which continued in the East as the Byzantine Empire) disappeared in 476 and, although many efforts were made to revive it, there was clearly a period, about goo, when there was no empire, no state, and no public authority in the West. The state disappeared, yet society continued. So also, religious and economic life continued. This clearly showed that the state and society were not the same
thing, that society was the basic entity, and that the state was a crowning, but not essential, cap to the social structure. This experience had revolutionary effects. It was discovered that man can live without a state; this became the basis of Western liberalism. It was discovered that the state, if it exists, must serve men and that it is incorrect to believe that the purpose of men is to serve the state. It was discovered that economic life,
religious life, law, and private property can all exist and function effectively without a state. From this emerged laissez-faire, separation of Church and State, rule of law, and the sanctity of private property. In Rome, in Byzantium, and in Russia, law was regarded as an enactment of a supreme power. In the West, when no supreme power existed, it was discovered that law still existed as the body of rules which govern social life. Thus law was found by observation in the West, not enacted by autocracy as in the East. This meant that authority was established by law and under the law in the West, while authority was established by power and above the law in the East…………”
OK, enough of that to bring the blood to a boil. Don’t hate the messenger. Remeber: All of this is just a heuristic device.
This little segment gets at the coming ironies of extreme simultaneous opposites that form the stretto of the entire chapter, and are mirrored in the Cryptoverse as well:
“…….Originally the Westernizers in Russia had been inspired by French thinkers, while the Slavophiles had been inspired by German thinkers like Schelling and Hegel, so that the shift from Westernizers to Slavophiles marked a shift from French to Germanic teachers.
The Slavophiles supported orthodoxy and monarchy, although they were very critical of the existing Orthodox Church and of the existing autocracy. They claimed that the latter was a Germanic importation, and that the former, instead of remaining a native organic growth of Slavic spirituality, had become little more than a tool of autocracy.Instead of supporting these institutions, many Slavophiles went out into the villages to get in touch with pure Slavic spirituality and virtue in the shape of the untutored peasant. These missionaries, called “narodniki,” were greeted with unconcealed suspicion and distaste by the peasants, because they were city-bred strangers, were educated, and expressed anti-Church and anti-governmental ideas.
Already disillusioned with the West, the Church, and the government, and now rejected by the peasants, the Intelligentsia could find no social group on which to base a reform program. The result was the growth of nihilism and of anarchism.”
And so it is in the Cryptoverse! LOL
This part could be read as a bit of projection into the future, with Russia and the West in reversal or roles:
“Anarchism was the next step after the disillusionment of the narodniki and the agitations of the nihilists. The revolutionary Intelligentsia, unable to find any social group on which to base a reform program, and convinced of the evil of all conventional establishments and of the latent perfection in the Russian masses, adopted a program of pure political direct action of the simplest kind: assassination. Merely by killing the leaders of states (not only in Russia but throughout the world), governments could be eliminated and the masses freed for social cooperation.and agrarian Socialism. From this background came the assassination of Czar Alexander II in 1881, of King Humbert of Italy in 1900, of President McKinley in 1901, as well as many anarchist outrages in Russia, Spain, and Italy in the period 1890-1910. The failure of governments to disappear in the face of this terrorist agitation, especially in Russia, where the oppression of autocracy increased after 1881, led, little by little, to a fading of the Intelligentsia’s faith in destructive violence as a constructive action, as well as in the
satisfying peasant commune, and in the survival of natural innocence in the unthinking masses.
Just at this point, about 1890, a great change began in Russia. Western industrialism began to grow under governmental and foreign auspices; an urban proletariat began to appear, and Marxist social theory came in from Germany. …”
Here the going is apt to be very, very rough and the western condescension almost intolerable. But the reader can surely get through it, I think, if they reflect the fact that the West TODAY has developed a far more extreme irrationality than described in this paragraph from 60-70 years ago, in Quigley’s chapter on Russia:
“The general trend of intellectual development in Russia in the years before 1914 could hardly be regarded as hopeful. To be sure, there were considerable advances in some fields such as literacy, natural science, mathematics, and economic thought, but these contributed little to any growth of moderation or to Russia’s greatest intellectual need, a more integrated outlook on life. The influence of the old Orthodox religious attitude continued even in those who most emphatically rejected it. The basic attitude of the Western tradition had grown toward diversity and toleration, based on the belief that every aspect of life and of human experience and every individual has some place in the complex structure of reality if that place can only be found and that, accordingly, unity of the whole of life can be reached by way of diversity rather than by any compulsory uniformity. This idea was entirely foreign to the Russian mind. Any Russian thinker, and hordes of other Russians with no capacity for thought, were driven by an insatiable thirst to find the “key” to life and to truth. Once this “key” has been found, all other aspects of human experience must be rejected as evil, and all men must be compelled to accept that key as the whole of life in a dreadful unity of uniformity. To make matters worse’ many Russian thinkers sought to analyze the complexities of human experience by polarizing these into antitheses of mutually exclusive dualisms: Westerners versus Slavophiles, individualism versus community, freedom versus fate, revolutionary versus reactionary, nature versus conventions, autocracy versus anarchy, and such. There was no logical correlation between these, so that individual thinkers frequently embraced either side of any antithesis, forming an incredible mixture of emotionally held faiths. Moreover, individual thinkers frequently shifted from one side to another, or even oscillated back and forth between the extremes of these dualisms. In the most typical Russian minds both extremes were held simultaneously, regardless of logical compatibility, in some kind of higher mystic unity beyond rational analysis. Thus, Russian thought provides us with striking examples of God-intoxicated atheists, revolutionary reactionaries, violent nonresisters, belligerent pacifists, compulsory liberators, and individualistic totalitarians.
The basic characteristic of Russian thought is its extremism. This took two forms: (1) any portion of human experience to which allegiance was given became the whole truth, demanding total allegiance, all else being evil deception; and (2) every living person was expected to accept this same portion or be damned as a minion of anti-Christ. Those who embraced the state were expected to embrace it as an autocracy in which the individual had no rights, else their allegiance was not pure; those who denied the state were expected to reject it utterly by adopting anarchism. Those who became materialists had to become complete nihilists without place for any convention, ceremony, or sentiment. Those who questioned some minor aspect of the religious system were expected to become militant atheists, and if they did not take this step themselves, were driven to it by the clergy. Those who were considered to be spiritual or said they were spiritual were forgiven every kind of corruption and lechery (like Rasputin) because such material aspects were irrelevant. Those who sympathized with the oppressed were expected to bury themselves in the masses, living like them, eating dike them, dressing like them, and renouncing all culture and thought (if they believed the masses lacked these things).
The extremism of Russian thinkers can be seen in their attitudes toward such basic aspects of human experience as property, reason, the state, art, sex, or power. Always there was a fanatical tendency to eliminate as sinful and evil anything except the one aspect which the thinker considered to be the key to the cosmos. Alexei Khomyakov (1804-1860), a Slavophile, wanted to reject reason completely, regarding it as “the mortal sin of the West,” while Fëdor Dostoevski (1821-1881) went so far in this direction that he wished to destroy all logic and all arithmetic, seeking, he said, “to free humanity from the tyranny of two plus two equals four.” Many Russian thinkers, long before the Soviets, regarded all property as sinful. Others felt the same way about sex. Leo Tolstoi, the great novelist and essayist (1828-1910), considered all property and all sex to be evil. Western thought, which has usually tried to find a place in the cosmos for everything and has felt that anything is acceptable in its proper place, recoils from such fanaticism. The West, for example, has rarely felt it necessary to justify the existence of art, but many thinkers in Russia (like Plato long ago) have rejected all art as evil. Tolstoi, among others, had moments (as in the essay What Is Art? Of 1897 or On Shakespeare and the Drama of 1903) when he denounced most art and literature, including his own novels, as vain, irrelevant, and satanic. ….”
I’ll leave it there, for now, because there’s more on Tolstoy (Whose works I love reading!) later.
Of Course, People In Glass Cultures Shouldn’t Throw Stones and what immediately comes to my mind is that the supposed Hater of Art (according to Quigley) Plato, is featured in the famous fresco The School of Athens by Rafael Di Sanzio (one of the greatest western artists) depicted with the visage and hair of Leonardo Da Vinci ….IN a famous work of Western Art……pointing upwards to the Divine Realm of Platonic Ideas, leading the way into the Reborn Future, while Aristotle the Has Been of the Dark and Middle Ages points downwards towards the ground, committed to the empiricism of the inferior lower material senses rather than the Superior Reason of the Immaterial Spirit:
https://youtu.be/Smd-q44ysoM The School of Athens by Raphael
The Inconsistencies and Contradictions Abound in the West as Well. It is entertaining and so instructive when Russians as well educated and as literate (or more so) as Professor Quigley...point those out!
The Cryptoverse is just as contentious, also includes China and Russia, and before any more of Quigley my Outline of the Theoretical Foundations of the Internet of Money….For the Vineyard Crypto Hive Mind Project…………shall be attempted on this Civilizational Divide….Extremely Cracked .Foundation.

Looking for some help again. Does anyone know where I can find the English lyrics to the song “Somewhere far away”, the major theme to the TV series “17 moments of Spring”.??
My Eng. subs of the TV series gives the lyrics to the song, “17 Moments of Spring”, but not this major theme,. It’s such a beautiful, haunting song, I’d love to have the words in English, but searches reveal nothing.
Thanks for any help.

Do not look down on seconds, from above…
There’ll be a time, and maybe, even you will know,
Like bullets, whizzing, by your head they fly,
Life little moments, little moments, passing by…
(These moments will be years, going by,
These moments will be centuries, and they will pass,
Sometimes, of those moments, wonder I,
Which one came first, and then which one came last…)
Each moment has a reason of its own,
Its own ringing bells, its own identity,
The moments deal infamy to some,
To others shame, to some the immortality!
From tiny moments nature weaves the rain,
It’s only simple water streaming from the sky,
And you could spend your life in waiting game,
When will it come, the moment of your life…
Your moment, overwhelming, it will come,
Like Icy gulp of water in the summer heat,
Then simply do you duty without qualms,
From your first moment, to your last heartbeat…
Do not look down, on seconds, from above…
There’ll be a time, and maybe, even you will know,
Like bullets, whizzing, by your head they fly,
Life little moments, little moments, passing by.

The English lyrics are in the lowbar.
May I ask, For a little while, You, my grief, To take leave of me? Like a cloud, Heavy, grayish cloud, Do fly to my beloved homeland, From here to my dearest homeland. You, my shore, Show yourself afar, Just an edge, Just an outline. You my shore, Lovely, gentle shore, My dear, if only I could reach you, Yes, reach you, at least some blessed day. Somewhere very far, Very far away The rains are dancing around. By the river bank, In a little nook The cherries ripen Bending low to the ground. Somewhere very far, In my memories The childhood’s warmth livens up, Though all this Nows covered By such a thick layer of snow! Thunderstorm, Take my thirst away, Fill me up, Yet don’t drown me. Here again, As it were the last time I still keep staring in the Heavens, As though I’d expect an answer soon…? May I ask, For a little while, You my grief, To take leave of me? Like a cloud, Heavy, grayish cloud, Do fly to my beloved homeland, From here to my dearest homeland. (Translated by Anna Djintcharadze)
Thank you Ted. I think that’s the one.
Thank you to the other two contributors, but your words are to the song “17 moments of Spring”. The series had two major themes, the “17 moments..” for which the lyrics in English abound, and this one. Called “Somewhere Far away”. it was the latter I was looking for – and you have provided the only translations I”ve found so far.
Thank yuo very much. The lyrics are as heartrending as the beautiful song. That’s the thing about Russian music. It speaks to the deeps within you, and you feel it’s message even without words.
Again – thank you.

Slavoj Žižek vs Jordan Peterson
Happiness: Capitalism vs Marxism
Peterson is deeply into Western thought on Marxism. In a way I think he thinks Marxism is the current cultural marxism that we see today which is not Marxism. It was a moment of brightness when Žižek asked him .. so where are those Marxists – do you think Bernie is a Marxist? Give me their names … give me the names of these deep Marxist thinkers. Of course, Peterson could not ’cause they are not there in his world and he has not studied this.
Of course to start a Marxist debate with Žižek based on the Communist Manifesto is just misguided.
Peterson ended his opening remarks by talking up Capitalism as a ‘free market economy’. Just there, in my view, he lost it … because as anyone that has thought about or looked at these things, Capitalism is not a ‘free market economy’. Peterson wanted to debate what is wrong with Marxism, Žižek brought that all together in what is wrong with our society as a whole and which questions should be studied – in my view, a much more worthy cause than sticking to ego-driven same-old same-old philisophical arguments about differences.
As to who ‘won’ the debate, it is funny.
Žižek was the daddy here, teaching both Capitalist and Marxist philosophy 101, and at the end of the day owning Peterson but without being too ungracious about it.
Nevertheless, this conversation should continue as the two did not get to the Happiness factor in depth. Peterson needed to be schooled first.
Žižek started his opening comments by noting that both Peterson and Žižek are being hounded by the same enemy – those cultural marxists and leftists exactly. Then, he traced China, which of course hammers all of Peterson’s debating points that never has Marxism, which really Peterson just sees as communism, been successful. So Žižek destroyed all of Peterson’s opening remarks just quickly and debated that ‘happiness’ is a confused concept.
So, even in the opening remarks, Peterson did a very shallow criticism of the Communist Manifesto, while Žižek stayed lazer-like on topic. This did not continue through the other phases of the debate the point and was lost. Then he went on to take Peterson to school, very current, right on top of all the hot issues of today on a metalayer as well as the mundane and practical.
When Peterson took over for his 10 minutes rebuttal after Žižek, he was saying that he cannot speak extemporaneously because Žižek opening was so very complex. Haha … I did not think it was complex — a very good overview of where we stand in the world today on these various matters, but not more complex than deserved by the complexity of modern life. Peterson was stunned by the metalayer of the conversation but he recovered by agreeing with Žižek.
Look I respect Peterson for having opened a very wide ranging conversation in the Western world about issues that matter. I am usually when I listen to him, astounded at the shallowness of that conversation. This debate illustrated that again .. what is to Žižek a ‘normal’ conversation, is ‘complex’ to Peterson. It is no wonder that the Western world today is just lost in its mad flailing for relevance and meaning.
@one minion mentioned that he did not want to pay the 15 bucks for the livestream. I had the same hesitation, almost a inner resistance to pay this small amount. So, I found a livestream take-off from the main livestream and listened to that – no 15 bucks.
Even if you are not interested in this level of philosphy at all, it is worth listening to Žižek’s opening remarks. Žižek is much more aware of both the underlying movements in the body politic, as well as what makes us whole, and what not, and at least in his opening remarks did a very good job of describing the dynamism within a system such as a social approach.
All hail Žižek, who could have, but gracefully did not destroy Peterson and reframed the debate very quickly into a discussion of what is important and what should be discussed, instead of winning a debate.
Lobster structural student – 1.5 out of 5
Graceful experienced professor – 5 out of 5
In other words, Žižek ate Peterson’s lobsters. I’ll consult my crystal ball and think that we will have a semi-Marxist Peterson if he continues the learning path that he embarked on.
So, this was written quickly and probably needs a hell-of-an-edit … I think I have more to say about this, but will write some more in the community once the stream is released publicly.
Thanks for that, amarynth. I had in fact decided to bite the bullet and pay the bucks but was unable, in the end to do that, just no response at all on the site. I guess that the allotted bandwidth had been filled or all available tickets sold, Peterson having such a huge following.
I will look for it elsewhere or wait for a public release. I had no doubts of the outcome, Peterson always relying on speed and intensity of response to overwhelm his interlocutor, showy and crowd pleasing stuff (made for TV) but inadequate against someone who knows his subject inside out and upside down.
The outcome might have been different had Peterson insisted on debating psychology, where Zizek might have been at a greater disadvantage, but who knows?
One debate rarely makes anyone change their minds radically, only long and deep pondering or a short, sharp, physically felt shock can do that—-but it can sow the seeds for the further thought and mental wrangling required, if the ground is fertile (i.e. mind is open) to begin with.
I look forward to actually hearing the thing, eventually.

I want to say that I am Not a Climate change denier, but what I Deny is that carbon dioxide is the cause of the changes in the Climate and the Weather, as I give reasons for those things which Humans are Responsible for some of that Climate change by means of Deforestation, and where Humans are Not responsible for some of that, such as the Law of Gravity because of the position of the Planets in the Solar System.
We can begin with what Humans have No control over, and that is the Law of Gravity, and we Know how our small Moon causes the Tides, because of Gravitational Attraction, where the Larger Planets of Jupiter and Saturn with Massive Gravitational Attraction will be behind the Earth in a few years, and this will pull the Earth towards them, and the Gravities of those Planets will pull the Earth 6% further away from the sun than what it is this year, and that will result in 11% Less Sunshine reaching the Northern Hemisphere in their Summers at the times that the Earth is nearest to Jupiter and Saturn and some People say that this will cause a Mini Age in the Northern Hemisphere, as has happened a few hundred years ago, that lasted for many years, and the Earth will be pulled closer to the Sun, when the Earth is furthest away from Jupiter and Saturn and this will cause Hotter and Drier and Longer Summers in the Southern Hemisphere and Unbiased and Non Bribed Astronomers can calculate the effect of what that will have on the Earth’s Climate, and this can be seen on the SolarSystemScope Website at https://www.solarsystemscope.com/, and at https://www.britannica.com/science/Little-Ice-Age .
There are Human causes of Climate change, and this was, and it continues to be caused mainly by Deforestation, and Unbiased Scientists say that a Tropical Rainforest is a Desert with Trees on it at https://www.google.com/search?biw=1120&bih=626&tbm=isch&sa=1&ei=aWTFXJmKOInbz7sPs8Cg4Aw&q=Tropical+Rainforest&oq=Tropical+Rainforest&gs_l=img.12..0i67j0l9.101681.113132..117046…0.0..0.231.1020.0j5j1……0….1..gws-wiz-img…….0i10i24.YQzvlP3uSPY and at https://www.google.com/search?biw=1120&bih=626&tbm=isch&sa=1&ei=f2TFXKfUJrKMmgeuopm4DA&q=Desert&oq=Desert&gs_l=img.12..0i67j0l5j0i10j0l3.50812.53427..56624…0.0..0.226.388.0j1j1……0….1..gws-wiz-img.9OyOAo_Ujto .
Roman Historians wrote how the territory that the Roman Empire controlled in North Africa had been a Tropical Rainforest with Rainforest Weather when the Roman Empire controlled that territory, but that a in a few hundred years it became a Desert having Desert Weather, because of Deforestation at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deforestation_during_the_Roman_period .
There are Environmentalists who have given Scientific Reasons as to Why carbon dioxide is Not the cause of Climate change, and one of them is Professor Patrick Moore who was a Cofounder of Greenpeace, and a video of his is Titled: Ocean Acidification – The Facts – Professor Patrick Moore at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4bJjBo5ICMc , and at https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2009/apr/22/coral-barrier-reef-australia , and while there are different opinions on the Origins of Life on Earth and the History of the Earth, and different People interpret the same data found on the Earth differently, and come to different hypotheses or even conclusions, as we have seen with Scientists with the Climate change Debate, and other Scientific controversies, and I personally am persuaded by several aspects of what is called Creation Science, and I think that the position of Jupiter and Saturn in relation to the Earth and Deforestation and the Fact of the Grand Solar Minimum are Sufficient to explain Global Cooling in the Northern Hemisphere and Climate change in the Southern Hemisphere, and there are other Scientists who say that carbon dioxide is Not responsible for Climate change can be seen on the 1000frolly YouTube Website at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCAR0Oi4L0Om4F26uwpANgCg .
The Roman territory of North Africa that was a Rainforest with Rainforest Weather became a Desert, because of Deforestation, and that Desert Spread southwards, and made Much of Africa a Desert, and Humans intervened and Planted the Great Green Wall of Africa to prevent All of the African Continent from becoming a Desert at https://www.google.com/search?biw=1120&bih=626&tbm=isch&sa=1&ei=83jFXLWYGOWdmgfkn42oCw&q=Map+of+Roman+Empire&oq=Map+of+Roman+Empire&gs_l=img.12..0i67j0l2j0i67j0l6.24084.58327..65183…0.0..0.215.997.0j5j1……0….1..gws-wiz-img.-Yfiu8vwEko and at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Green_Wall .
There are Several Websites that speak of Global Cooling, and that means Colder Winters for the Northern Hemisphere during their Winters.
I think that the Southern Hemisphere will have Hotter and Drier and Longer Summers, and those Countries have Experts to help them Manage that.
There is what I consider to be a Good Website that deals with the topic with Global Cooling, and it is the Adapt 2030 YouTube Website at https://www.youtube.com/user/MyanmarLiving/featured , and this is occurring in conjunction with the Lower Solar activity Known as a Grand Solar Minimum, and I have Researched his Claims of Unprecedented Cold weather events in the Northern Hemisphere, and it is on the Internet, and I found him to be Honest https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solar_minimum .
A Vital Defense against Global Cooling in the Northern Hemisphere is a Strong Economy in order to have Money for Infrastructure for Flood Mitigation, and The Southern Hemisphere will Need a Strong Economy for constructing Reservoirs or Water Pipelines for Drought Mitigation, and for other Climate change Infrastructure, and to Mitigate with regards to Climate change Refugees, which is Disruptive to the Refugees and to other Countries, because they Could be working for their own Country, and this would mean that there should Not be Economic Sanctions placed on Countries so that they can Employ People for Reforestation, and to produce Insulating Materials for Buildings and for Houses.
I think that Many Crops will have to be grown Hydroponically using triple glazed glasshouses or triple glazed clear plastic houses, possibly with Artificial Light, and where those crops are heated by Coal or some other fossil fuel, and to sell some of that food to Drought prone Countries of the Southern Hemisphere, and there is 1,000 years of Coal Reserves on Earth to deal with Global Cooling and Climate change that is estimated to last for next 15 years for the Earth.
If the Sun did not provide any heat to our Solar System, then the temperature of All of the Planets in our Solar System would be minus 273 degrees Celsius.
There are another unit of measurement of temperature, and it is called the Kelvin temperature scale, where the coldest possible temperature in the Universe is 0 degrees Kelvin, which is minus 273 degrees Celsius, and where plus 273 degrees Kelvin is 0 degrees Celsius.
This means that the Earth’s average temperature over the Entire Earth for any year, which is 15 degrees Celsius is (273+15) degrees Kelvin or plus 288 degrees Kelvin.
The following provides the temperatures of Planets in our Solar System, where Mercury’s temperature varies from minus 172 degrees Celsius at night to plus 430 degrees Celsius during its day, and Venus’ temperature is plus 465 degrees Celsius.
The Earth’s average temperature is plus 15 degrees Celsius, and Mars has plus 20 degrees Celsius near its equator during its day, and at night the temperature is minus 73 degrees Celsius.
The temperature in the clouds of Jupiter is minus 145 degrees Celsius, and Saturn’s temperature is minus 178 degrees Celsius, and Uranus is minus 220 degrees Celsius, and Neptune’s average temperature is minus 215 degrees Celsius.
We then have Pluto, which is further away from the Sun than the Planets, and whose temperature is minus 235 degrees Celsius.
The Coldest recorded temperature on Earth, recorded at ground level is minus 87 degrees Celsius or plus186 degrees Kelvin, and that was at Antarctica, and the Northern Hemisphere is experiencing Unprecedented Cold weather.
We have seen how Honest Scientists have Proven that it is the Sun because of its Varying Solar Cycles that Determine the Climate and the Weather on Earth, and that carbon dioxide does Not cause global warming or global cooling or any type of Climate change, and Honest Scientists Know that the Earth is Cooling, and Will soon experience a Mini Ice Age.
This is Why any scientist who does Not Realize that the Sun is the Foremost and Primary cause of Earth’s Climate and Weather has Not a studied Science for some reason, and perhaps it is because some Universities might take Bribes and sell Science Degrees at https://www.telegraph.co.uk/comment/columnists/christopherbooker/6679082/Climate-change-this-is-the-worst-scientific-scandal-of-our-generation.html , and at https://www.abc.net.au/news/2019-01-31/parts-of-us-colder-than-antarctica-as-polar-vortex-grips-midwest/10765416 .
The upcoming Mini Ice Age will cause floods and crop failures, and some Researchers say that it will last for 15 years, while the Scientist John Casey says that it will last for 30 years at https://www.amazon.com.au/Dark-Winter-Causing-30-Year-Spell-ebook/dp/B015VN583Y , and his Interviews and Lectures are on the Internet.
I realized that I should have said the Winters in the Northern Hemisphere rather than the Summers of the Northern Hemisphere at one of places in my other comment, and it should have said that the Gravities of Jupiter and Saturn will pull the Earth 6% further away from the Sun than in a few years what it is this year, and that will result in 11% Less Sunshine reaching the Northern Hemisphere during their Winters which corresponds with those times that the Earth is nearest to Jupiter and Saturn.
There are Good YouTube Websites on the topic of Global Cooling and the Mini Ice Age, and some of them are Grand Solar Minimum Website, and Ice Age Farmer Website.
