Some more aspects of the Covid-19 or whatever it is called, based on academic studies:
https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/pdf/10.1002/jmv.25728
“The most characteristic symptom of
COVID-19 patients is respiratory distress, and most of the patients admitted to the
intensive care could not breathe spontaneously.”
” The infection of SARS-CoV has been reported in the brains
from both patients and experimental animals, where the brainstem was heavily
infected. ”
“the medical graduate student (24 years old) from Wuhan University, she must stay awake and breathe consciously and actively during the intensive care. She said that if she fell asleep, she might die because she had lost her natural breath.”
And the this: https://www.preprints.org/manuscript/202002.0307/v1
“The analyzed data showed high levels of ACE2 mRNA and protein expression in the testis and spermatids and equal levels of ACE2 expression in the uterus and lung. Comprehensive single-cell analysis identified ACE2 expression in the lung, testis, spermatids, and uterus.”
One might wonder what Covid-czar Pence would order at that last sentence. Anyway, the EU in all her wisdom refuses to close borders. Though it might be too late by now. Last week many people from the whole EU went on skiing vacation in Tirol, just above Italy.
But everything is under control…
Cheers, Rob
Here’s a virology report.
https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/10.1002/jmv.25728
“The most characteristic symptom of COVID‐19 patients is respiratory
distress, and most of the patients admitted to the intensive care
could not breathe spontaneously.”
Now that does focus the mind.
It’s a pity the mind doesn’t get focussed on some more worrying features of all this, IMHO Richard.
It’s fine to examine the minute details of the disease progress, but these issues are no reason for the massive, hysterical fear swamping the world like a tsunami.
This, to me, is the most worrying part, that has my mind focussed – that it has been shown to be so easy for the Ruling Regime, using its media propaganda arms, its Government controlled “Health Departments” to control the mass of people; to drive them to do such crazy things as “foot jumps” when greeting each other in order to avoid shaking hands; to stay away from work, stay at home, empty food stores, even attack people, as in Ukraine when a bus load of exposed people were being driven to a containment facility or a young Asian man in England who was attacked and beaten up by thugs saying “we dont want your coronavirus”. The list of insanities goes on and grows.
Yet, how many have died from it? Latest estimate of world wide deaths is 2,700 to 3,000 people. Of all infected, in 80% of cases the disease is mild, with people over 50 yrs age and with a pre-existing health condition > x3 likelihood of getting the disease and dying. Of these, in China, most have been shown to be men, which cohort, in China has a very high rate of smokers.
So lets look at Influenza: “Typically, in a year’s normal two flu seasons (one per hemisphere), there are between three and five million cases of severe illness and around 650,000 deaths worldwide, which by some definitions is a yearly influenza epidemic. Although the incidence of influenza can vary widely between years, approximately 36,000 deaths and more than 200,000 hospitalisations are directly associated with influenza every year in the United States”
No-one cares!!! No panic.
How many deaths from MVA’s in America alone? In 2018 it was 36,560 !! No-one had hysterics!!
so – what’s going on??
I suspect that there could well be a deliberate activity of mental manipulation of the masses, in order to induce a state of chronic stress from fear, with occasional peaks of acute stress from sudden increased fear added in from time to time.
Just do a quick search and see what you can turn up about the effects of stress demonstrated by valid laboratory experiments and body tests.
We can see that DNA gets change by altered methylation, leading to behaviour changes, to memory loss, to cognitive decline; that hormones are produced which damage sleep mechanism which leads to a cascade of chronic disease such as heart and pulmonary conditions, diabetes, Alzheimers and more.
I kept wondering why “they” were so able to manipulate the people so easily – to induce such a crazy, insane hysteria and terror – and now I think I see how. They’ve been keeping the people in such a state of chronic stress from fear for so long – fear of Arabs, of Islam, of Mexicans, of wars, wars, wars, of Russia Russia Russia, now China China China, that so many people have memory dysfunction, cognitive decline, and just dont know what to think. They are constantly terrified and their minds are disintegrating as a result,
It’s this which we should be thinking about and fearing – not a new variant of a common cold, which leads to death almost only in elderly compromised people, and will soon peak and die out.
The coronavirus will go. They all do. Even the terrible Spanish Flu which killed millions is now a natural part of our world and has gone as a major threat.
But the damage from the chronic, ongoing, stress related diseases will stay and grow.
And then when they launch he next fear campaign — the results will be even worse.
As the very admirable young lady taking on the other insane hysteria campaign of fear of a natural climate variation keeps telling people “Keep Calm – and think for yourself”
Thank You Pamela for your calm, eloquent commentary on this phenomenon
I have very limited time to visit this Café but deeply appreciate your wisdom in keeping perspective on how trauma affects well-being.
In 1967 I was admitted to Prince Henry isolation unit diagnosed with typhoid. I was the first recorded case in Sydney since WW11. The staff there left no stone unturned searching for the source of the bacillus. And they succeeded: an elderly aunt who had come in to cook for the family with whom I had lodged months previous to my illness.
From this episode I Learned…
Similarly, in 2017 I nearly died from the flu. Much younger and seemingly healthier people did die.
No frantic sensationalism/ lockstepped state/media actions then, other than exhortations to get vaccinated.
Yesterday I flew interstate and was reassured by the calm of those who, like me, refuse to be battered by fear and trauma. In Australia this year I’ve read that one woman a week has died from domestic violence.
And then, there have been the hideous deaths of little children: killed by drunk drivers; a precious 3 year old boy strapped in his kindy bus seat all day in 34degrees and three children burned alive in their car seats.by their father.
Our system is not just broken it is depraved
Suffer the the little children…
Thank you Babuska.
Interested to hear you had such good treatment in Australia way back when nursing care was really nursing, and not just a career path. I lived in Aus for many years, although never in Sydney.
I, too, had Influenza as a very fit, active, 25 yr old. I was bedridden for 2 weeks and off work a total of 6. No-one does that with the common cold. I thought I was going to die, I felt so terrible.
I think there is rather more cynical attitude to publicly driven emotion reactions in Australia than many other of the Anglo nations. I remember a night flight home from US to Sydney one time, when in Chicago O’Hare Airport, we were barked at by a short fat lady in a tight black uniform screaming orders at us lined up for security, making me wonder if I had taken a wrong turning and ended up in Cook County Jail, to the aircraft staff darkening the lights almost immediately, including individual reading lights, barking at anyone who so much as stepped out of the their seat – I had to explain I needed to use the bathroom to allowed to move, – to the Qantas flight from Sydney to Perth, with all blinds up, people moving around, chatting, making friends, coffee and bottle of wine flowing, as if we were at a party. The comparison was marked :-)
I agree with you, so much of our system is depraved, and it’s depraved starting with a thinking that was badly wrong a long time ago, which gave rise to systems with enormous flaws, which have led to where we are now; fin de siecle , ; and all Empires die wallowing in their own faeces.
Pamela
Just me but IMO you are wrong on so many levels I don’t even know where to start.
Your assumptions mirror the woefully misleading initial narratives of the WHO and the MSM regarding CV-19. These are the narratives that have encouraged people to not be concerned or to even take basic precautions. This misinformation has helped facilitate the massive spread to some 80 countries already. The current reality of the situation and the downplaying of the risks involved to date is totally the opposite in regard to the underlying premise of your post.
I strongly suggest you start following Chris Martenson on Peak Prosperity https://www.peakprosperity.com/
in his daily updates.
At the very least you need to update on the R-naughts of the flu and colds compared to CV-19. With even a very token amount of research, you will quickly discover that the mortality rate of CV-19 is likely to be 10-50x that of the Flu.
Factor in the naive herd scenario of CV-19 exposure versus the exposure of the Flu to a population that has developed natural immunity for millennia and any comparison of the two pathogens spread becomes utterly absurd.
Quite frankly everything you said in your post is totally at odds with Chris’s findings. This is a man who is incredibly well versed and qualified on this subject and is absolutely not into fearmongering at any level. He is aghast at the downplaying of what was clearly a disaster waiting to happen from day one. I know for a fact that he would be equally shocked by your post.
I have read somewhat extensively Col in this region – it was after all my degree major and post graduate degree area, and I have kept up to date. I’ve followed the findings of virology experts from both the Ministries of Health of Russia and China, as well as used my own thinking – I am in the habit of using facts but thinking for myself.
Frankly, I care not one iota what someone you quote of whom I have never heard has to say. Why am I supposed to fall down and worship what he says – others might say other things. Whom then do I worship??
In fact, there has been in the MSM NO “downplaying” of this novel Common cold virus. Just go read the pages of the UK Daily Mail to see hysteria on an unbelievable scale, with huge headlines that there has been one death in Scotland, when they dont compare it to this seasons deaths from Influenza.
You are of course as much entitled to your opinion, or should I say your parroting of some other persons’ opinion, of course, as I am to mine. However, you offer no real facts as shown by published evidence, just much pearl clutching because I have drawn a conclusion about scientific findings your hero doesn’t seem to grasp either.
I wouldn’t dream of being so rude to you about them tho.
You have “drawn a conclusion” and yet one of your posts completely contradicts an earlier post in the very same Cafe…this is not very “scientific” in my book.
And no I wouldn’t expect you to “fall down and worship” Chris but I would politely suggest you read some of it before you completely dismiss it.
At least a little nervous about this Col but if the “linearity” in the “Total cases / “Total deaths” graph here:
https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/#countries
is maintained (6 weeks of data already) very very few people have anything to really worry about. Selecting the logarithmic scale on those two graphs might make you feel a bit easier?
It is relevant I think to share this latest report [today] out of China, regarding confirmed stats and information about the nCoV2019 virus. I’ve done a copy and paste as many wouldn’t have the translation function I have if I just give a link.
March 3, Renmin Ribao online — February 29, the State Committee on public health of the PRC published the “report by the joint observations of China and who for a new type of coronavirus (COVID-19)”. The website “zhenminvan” offers to get acquainted with the main contents of the report.
1. The new type of coronavirus is a virus of animal origin. Bats are likely to be carriers of this virus, however, the intermediate vectors is not yet established.
Distribution methods
2. Coronavirus infection can be transmitted through small drops which allocates sick during the cough and sneezing and through close contact.
3. Posts about aerial transmission of the virus has not yet been reported.
4. In medical institutions can exist virus transmission via aerosols during operations.
5. A new type of coronavirus was detected in respiratory tract specimens of feces and blood. Fecal-oral transmission requires confirmation.
Distribution features of the novel coronavirus
6. In China a new type of coronavirus mainly distributed to family members.
7. 1%-5% of the people who were in close contact with the infected, was diagnosed with coronavirus pneumonia.
8. <b.Almost everyone can be infected. [NB. My emphasis. So much for “Asian men are targeted] Scientists have yet to determine whether immunity is generated after infection.
Symptoms of a new type of coronavirus
9. Until 20 February, among the 55 thousand 924 confirmed cases the typical symptoms and signs were the following:
Fever – 87.9%
Dry cough – 67.7%
Weakness – 38.1%
Sputum – 33.4%
Shortness of breath – 18.6%
Sore throat – 13.9%
Headache – 13.6%
Muscle or joint pain – 14.8%
The chills – 11.4%
Nausea or vomiting – 5%
Cold – 4.8%
Diarrhoea – 3.7%
Hemoptysis – 0.9%
Conjunctival hyperaemia – 0.8%
Classification of cases
11. The majority of cases are assessed as “mild disease” and can be curable.
12. About 80% of laboratory-confirmed cases are mild and common 13.8% – severe cases, 6.1% of victims are “extremely serious cases”.
13. There are reports of asymptomatic cases, but in most asymptomatic cases were eventually reported symptoms.
Group of people
14. Among critically ill and died – people older than 60 years and patients with high blood pressure, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, chronic respiratory diseases and cancer.
15. Data show that the rate of infected among children and adolescents under 18 years of age is relatively low. Less children are being infected with this disease.
16.Relatively few serious cases among the population under 19 years: 2.5% – seriously ill and 0.2% – in extremely severe cases.
17. The risk of infection among pregnant women is relatively low.
The progress of the disease
18. On 5-6th day after infection, the patient had mild symptoms associated with the respiratory tract, and increased temperature (the average incubation period of 5-6 days, framework, 1-14 days).
19. According to initial reports, from the beginning of disease until clinical recovery for patients with easy, you need 2 weeks, severe and very severe – 3 to 6 weeks.
20. Preliminary evidence suggests that from the beginning of infection until the discovery of a lack of oxygen needed for the week.
21. From the beginning of disease to death – 2-8 weeks.
The mortality rate
22. The mortality rate among people older than 80 years with a high of 21.9%.
23. The mortality rate among men is higher than among women – 4.7% and 2.8%, respectively.
24. The mortality rate among patients without complications was 1.4%, the mortality rate among patients with complications is significantly higher.
25. Patients with vascular diseases account for 13.2%, diabetes is 9.2%, high pressure – 8.4%, chronic respiratory diseases 8%, and cancer – 7.6%.
Thanks Pamela
I confirm the same data here from other chinese sources.
I will add a few points here…
1) The hospitals in Wuhan has just, as off today/yesterday, has a few more vacant beds for the serious infected patients as more ppl are restore back to their health or pass on with decrease of new cases. It appears the result of forced containment and lock down is showing its effects.
2) a local Q&A for the chinese public was set up to ask a panel of experts on anything they want on the Covid19. One young person ask, should China now setup and initiate a special branch of military force to counter biowarfare in the future. The official reply: No comments.
Again, just sharing the sentiment on the ground in China.
It is a special kind of flu-virus and the mutation factors has yet to be fully examined but it looks like, China may have pass the peaked. Concrete effort now is to prevent a 2nd wave and come back of the virus. There may be some preliminary breakthrough in finding a ‘cure’ via TCM combining with some western medications. China is also sending medical aids to a number of country inc Iran.
The real risk and the unknown factors of Covid-19 are still largely unanswered
but one needs to retain clear thinking to guide one through this event (esp for the west who has not experienced such viral event).
Do what you can in your individual capacity of prevention and boost up the health practice.
The biovirus is real but don’t let fear kills you before the virus does.

“don’t let fear kill you before the virus does”
Excellent comment, and one I am trying to get across here. Reading into the huge damage done to humans by chronic stress, which constant fear causes ++, one can truly see how much damage is being done to hundreds of thousands of people, and worse of all to to children, by this engenderment of stress. One can almost wonder, as I do, if much of it is being done deliberately. It’s hard to accept that if I can see the damage done by mass chronic stress, the PTB dont know of it; that in their constant searches for means of controlling the “masses” another Bernays hasn’t come along in their Psychology Warfare Unit, to show them.
We see researches into comparisons between the onset of chronic obesity and TV; increased carbohydrate intake; soft drinks, i.e. all diet – but never into the beginning of media and Gov. generated stress and obesity.
Links are never sought between the onset in the rise of Coronary Artery disease, cancer, Alzheimers, cognitive disfunction, etc etc – and if the time they went from rare to “common and growing” has a link with the onset of American wars, hysterias of all kinds, fear porn +++ on TV “news”, on anchor shows, talking heads, in video games filled with violence, Hollywood etc etc.
You know one of the interesting features is that chronic stress is shown to first damage the homeostatic mechanisms. These are the biochemical pathways which detect a malfunction – lets say CO levels, or pH,- and a feed back loop kicks in with a biochemical pathway to correct the imbalance and send the reading back to optimum for function.
Well, in Chaos and Complexity Theory, we see that this is a “Law” – so called – of the Universe. That all things, including social groupings among animals and human beings, self organise. And they do so around a principle of Like to Like attraction, so that a stable society evolved, with feed back loops which maintain this in the face of a Universe in constant change.
The best – in my opinion – of all the Greek Philosophers was Heraclitus, who also saw this over 2000 yrs ago. That everything changes constantly, about a point which doesn’t change.
So in this business of generating chronic stress by fear, the Empire is not only messing with peoples biochemistry leading to severe bodily and mental / emotional damage, but is trying to fly in the face of a Universal Law by preventing the operation of natural feed back loops
And that can never end any way but very very badly. Somehow, we have to try to stem this tide of fear, of chronic stress.
Here’s one young lady – and wow, how admirable is she, to be doing this at only 19 yrs of age? – who is doing a brilliant job.
Surely if she can do this, we can try too.

Apparently, (Attack on fellow poster removed,MOD) to the fact that many of these figures are completely at odds with the main premise of your earlier 1.06pm post…in some cases, they are a complete contradiction!
What you need to do in a medico-scientific debate, Mr. Farmer, is quote them.
Please state which are the contradictions, and in what way they are a contradiction.
Your post @1.06pm
“So let’s look at Influenza: Typically, in a year’s normal two flu seasons (one per hemisphere), there are between three and five million cases of severe illness and around 650,000 deaths worldwide”
Unquote… This is a death rate of approximately 0.1%… bear in mind too that in a ‘good’ year the mortality gets down to 300,000 or less
Your post @ 12.21pm “The mortality rate among men is higher than among women – 4.7% and 2.8%, respectively.”
Unquote…Let me do some simple maths then…Divide 4.7 by 0.1 and you get a factor of 47…i.e. according to your figures, the death rate of males who catch CV-19 is 47x that of the flu.
Divide 2.8% by 0.1 and you get a factor of 28…ie according to your figures the death rate of females is 28x compared to the flu.
Remember the 650,000, 4.7% and 2.8% are your figures Pamela, not mine.
Also if we worked on a good year [if there is such a thing with the flu] these factors would double. They would then be factors of 94 and 56.
Given the figures that you provide it is farcical to even attempt to make any comparison on mortality rates between the two viruses.
I genuinely hope I am wrong somewhere in my calculations. If I am you have my sincere apologies. If I am not then there is no need for panic but there is most certainly a need for profound concern and a duty to challenge all misleading assertions which attempt to trivialize a situation which by all appearances is quickly spiralling into a serious global pandemic.
Col the first example you gave is sufficient. I have neither the time, energy, or interest to dissect it all, but let me just point out that you have claimed a contradiction, when in fact you have compared apples with bananas.
The first set of figures was for world wide influenza on an averaged annual basis, taken from figures given by American Health Authorities..
The second which you say is a contradiction [i.e. for the different between males and females, “our post @ 12.21pm “The mortality rate among men is higher than among women – 4.7% and 2.8%, respectively.”] is taken from the Chinese figures for the gender difference for the Coronavirus in China”.
These are two separate figures entirely, and don’t represent any sort of “contradiction”, they are referring to two different rates. You are quoting a world wide incidence with the figures given for Influenza and then stating that the figures for the gender difference in Common Cold virus in China show a contradiction.
I’m afraid this is where your response stems from. You – or the gentleman you cite I suspect – are looking at one aspect and taking it out of context. You can’t do that with these things, because they have multiple, complex, contexts.
I have no intention of reading the man you cite, as he clearly is looking at only one aspect – the infection and re-infection rate – whereas I, [and the Ministries of Health of both Russia and China] are looking at the demographic of death rates, and numbers compared to another well established and well recorded, regular, annual, viral infection.
I – and assume they – also are looking at everything known about the virus from it’s sequencing studies giving it’s genome, it’s coat pattern, it’s replication and infection mechanism and those it has most lethally infected, and everything known about the repeated pattern of such novel infections and their patterns.
And I repeat what the Russian Virology expert said “this came from an animal host, at the moment almost certainly bats; it will return to its host and the epidemic will cease, and will probably return in future, less virulent epidemics in some years time.”
I would like to thank the moderator who eliminated an – perhaps less than kindly – attack contained in one post. I have increasingly found the Internet to be a disappointment in many ways outside of the access to information it provides. Too many places are not worth commenting on – they contain severely racist, nasty, insulting and worse of all very ignorant and uninformed commenters, allowed to post some nasty insulting things. It’s become like trying to hold an intelligent, scholarly discussion in a front bar full of room temperature IQ angry drunks. But Sakers’ Vineyard is a haven and a rarity – and much of that comes down to strict rules and the mods taking care to ensure they are followed. I think this is almost the only place I write now – apart from efforts to get some truths out to the severely brainwashed readers of the UK’s, Daily Mail, when I can dodge the censors :-)
And there we have it: Covid-19 spreads in Africa: https://www.zerohedge.com/markets/outbreak-fears-emerge-nigeria-govt-finds-100-people-exposed-first-virus-case
With a crowded continent and poor hygiene we can expect something. The virus should get inactive at summer temperatures, as suggested Well, how cold is it in Nigeria?
And a thought crossed my mind. Suppose someone gets infected by both Covid-19 and Ebola, the possibility cannot be excluded that there might result some merger, when RNA of both are circling in a cell.
I don’t want to think too much about that…
In the meantime, the EU just continues to ship thousands of Africans as a taxi service to Europe.
Cheers, Rob
Let’s look on the bright side:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dNToRJI_oeg
“There’s a dark and a troubled side of life.
But there’s a bright and a sunny side, too!
Chorus:
Keep on the sunny side,
Always on the sunny side,
Keep on the sunny side of life!”
And many people are now seeing the “sunny” side of COVID-19 and how they could use it to THEIR advantage, politically, financially and otherwise.
If they are caught we might call this political opportunism “Corona-gate”.
However, due to the multiplicity of opportunists and the surname of one of the most prominent among them I think it most fitting that a Capital letter …..and an “s” be added:
How’s “Corona-Gates” strike y’all???
(Remember to disinfect your Windows…..all versions!)
This could easily backfire on them, it appears the chinese are getting the upper hand on the virus, they closed the first temporary made hospital due to the last patient leaving.
Now if this thing gets a foot hold in the U.S., and it becomes politically unfeasible to lock down large portions of the country, then the losers in the long run are here in the states politically, financially, and economically, or, mostly those at the top of the chain of command aside from those who are directly affected by the virus and affected by the lose of income.
@alabama.
One might say: be careful the stick you throw is not a boomerang.
I did consider the US beligerently demanding China hand over all sorts of data about the spread of corona- chan in early Jan as the US wanting to see the results of its bioweapon
Once corona-chan spreads like the urine and faeces on the streets of urban US….. then the blowback begins.
Yes, now the shoe is on the other foot:
On Tuesday, Shanghai and Beijing instituted ‘travel bans’ directed at travelers from hot zones including Italy, South Korea and the US.
What happened after the USSR fell.
https://www.reddit.com/r/EuropeanSocialists/comments/efloa8/the_consequences_of_the_collapse_of_the_soviet/
The consequences of the collapse of the Soviet Union! (For its yearly anniversary – 26th of December 1991)
Analysis/take
The consequences of the collapse of the Soviet Union!
26th of December is the anniversary of the collapse of the USSR.
Russia/Russian Soviet Socialist Republic
30,000 Medium to large scale factories in 1990 (before the collapse). That number is reduced down to 5000.
GDP of 1996 was 63.1% of the 1991 GDP keep in mind that the economy of the USSR in 1991 was worse off than before the Perestroika period, thus the GDP of 1996 would be even smaller compared to the pre-collapse era GDP of the USSR.
Number of hospitals has halved from 10700 to 5400.
Similarly, the number of schools has dropped from almost 70,000 to 42,600.
In just 17 years, from 2000-2017 26700,000,000,000 rubles have been illegally stolen from the people outside of Russia.
At least Russia is number one at some things like first at the number of Millionaires.
In terms of billionaires they are in 4th place.
22,000,000 Russians are in poverty
86% of Russians struggle to buy the most basic things
23,000 towns, villages and cities have been abandoned in the last 20 years
Because of Capitalism and the massive hit we took after the collapse of the USSR including the horrible living conditions and poverty that broke out the Russian population lost 30 Million in terms of demographics(More than in ww2)
Kazakhstan(Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic)
only from 1981-1986 – 400 enterprises/factories were built, in 1983 we had more than 9 million cattle, 36 million sheep and supplied meat to almost all Soviet Republics.
engineering and metalworking enterprises/factories fell from 2000 to 100
machine building in the total industrial production fell from 16% to 3% (mostly oil and gas now)
light industry – 15% fell to 0.6%, from 1990-2006 (all products are imported)
refined 18 million tons of oil, this number fell to 13.7 million tons (+ imported from Russia)
meat exports 184.5 thousand tons fell to 0.3 thousand tons(we import meat now)
compound feed production 4 million tons fell to 400 thousand tons
2006 → 2009, 540 rural settlements liquidated/abandoned
education expenditure 8% fell to 3% = shortage of qualified personnel + it’s not always free.
Free medical care will soon be abolished too
GDP of 1996 was only 69.3% of the 1991 Soviet GDP, keep in mind that the economy of the USSR in 1991 was worse off than before the Perestroika period, thus the GDP of 1996 would be even smaller compared to the pre-collapse era GDP of the USSR.
Ukraine/Ukrainian SSR.
Ukraine seemed like it would become the next European power. It had 3 military districts left over from the USSR with the best weaponry in the world including 700,000 troops as well as a nuclear arsenal of 3000 that made it the 3rd strongest country in the whole world after the US and Russia. By the time of the war in the Donbass the number of military personnel dropped down to 168,000 while selling huge quantities of Soviet weaponry.
Scientists within the country reduced from 313 079(1990) down to 94,274 in (2017).
Doctors within the country reduced from 227 thousand (1991) down to 187 thousand in (2016).
nursing staff halved since the collapse of the USSR
Electricity generation, billion kWh per year fell from 238 (1980) down to 167 (2000)
Stone mining(Coal thousand tons per year) 197 100 (1980) down to 81 100 (2000)
Steel production (thousand tons per year) around 48 000 (1980) down to 31 767 (2000)
Production of tractors (thousand pieces) around 130, 000 (1980) down to 4000 (2000)
Production of mineral fertilizers (thousand tons per year) around 4 850 (1991) down to 1 554 (2000)
Grain Harvest (million tons per year) dropped from 51 (1990) down to 25,7 (2000)
Around 250 planes a year were being built, that number dropped to 1-2 a year after Capitalism.
The Ukranian GDP of 1996 was only 47.2% of the 1991 Ukranian SSR GDP, keep in mind that the economy of the USSR in 1991 was worse off than before the Perestroika period, thus the GDP of 1996 would be even smaller compared to the pre-collapse era GDP of the USSR.
The destruction of democracy
The 1991 referendum of keeping the USSR in one way or the other gained a 78% positive vote. However, this was thrown out of the window and the USSR was torn apart nonetheless.
In 1993 when the Parliament ie (Supreme Soveit) tried to remove Yeltsin, he ordered tanks to drive into Moscow and shoot the Parliament building. Crowds of Soviet Citizens tried to stop the attack, but were unsuccessful. Over 100 of comrades died that day. https://images.app.goo.gl/eqRAJBrvyDRBRFUR9 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bjBmtkW3Tl8&t=423s (live footage from the day). This allowed Yeltsin to change the constitution and increase his own power while selling Russia off to Western capital.
Consequences for the Soviet people
We lost our democracy.
We lost our right to free education, which used to be the best in the world.
We lost our right to free healthcare, which used to be the best in the world.
We lost our right to not be homeless.
We lost our right to not be jobeless.
According to the UN Human Development Index—which measures levels of life expectancy. Commenting on the situation in the former Soviet Union after capitalist restoration, Fabre stated, “We have catastrophic falls in several countries, which often are republics of the former Soviet Union, where poverty is actually increasing. In fact poverty has tripled in the whole region”.
To sum it up for the Soviet people – “98 Russian billionaires hold more wealth than Russians combined savings” or 200 Russian oligarchs have 485 billion USD most of which come from post Soviet factories that used to be owned by the workers but were sold off at extremely low prices.
Effects on the rest of the world
The USSR had connections with China, Poland, Bulgaria, Hungary, Eastern Germany, Romania, Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia, Cuba, Nicaragua, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Birma, India, Indonesia, Mongolia, North Korea, Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq, Egypt, Algeria, Mali, Ghana, Sudan, Ethiopia, Yemen, Somalia, Congo, Angola, Tanzania, Mozambique, Madagascar. As the USSR was collapsing/collapsed Socialism and Socialist organisations in all of these countries would fall apart too leaving them at the grasp of the capitalists.
Cuba had huge economic problems as it was dependant on the USSR.
DPRK had a huge famine in the 90’s due to the collapse of the USSR.
Many Socialist nations around the world reverted back to the first stage of Socialism.
Civil wars within the USSR
Many love to say that “the USSR’s collapse was bloodless”.
This is a list of all the civil wars between Soviet countries and peoples:
Tajikistan Civil War – 50,000 dead
2010 South Kyrgyzstan ethnic riots – 2000 dead
Tajikistan Insurgency – 200 dead
East Prigorodny Conflict – 550 dead
First Chechen War – around 60,000 dead
War of Dagestan – 300 dead
Second Chechen War – around 80,000 dead
War in Ingushetia – 900 dead
insurgency in the North Caucasus – 4200 dead
Nagorno-Karabakh War – 33,000 dead
1991–1992 South Ossetian War – 1000 dead
Georgian Civil War – 20,000 deaths
Russo-Georgian War – 500 dead
Transnistria War – 1500 dead
Euromaidan – 200 dead
Russo-Ukrainian War – 15,000 dead
Overall – roughly 270,000 Soviet citizens have died from direct causes of the war.
Millions and millions have been displaced and have been thrown into poverty.
Conclusion
The Soviet Union was once the leader in all aspects of life, guaranteeing a tomorrow for all of its citizens where they would not fear losing a job, being homeless, being hungry, unabling to afford medical care. The Soviet Union produced its own planes, cars, hydroelectric dams, nuclear power stations, rockets while the workers used to own the means of production. In 1991, they took away our freedom while selling off all that my people have worked for, the consequences of which will be felt around the world until Capitalism finally falls.
Comrade Odarin Vladimirov.

I noticed you did not compare todays rents w/todays rents and housing costs here in the states, nor the cleanliness of the streets and subways, nor the debt bomb that is carried by both country’s, just to name a few.
@subhuti37
The former socialist countries from Eastern Europe (not counting the former Soviet Union) lost over 17.000 enterprises/factories after the collapse. Hard to appreciate the number of workers and their families who have been affected without mercy, how many of them died as direct consequences of the closures, who knows. The west has benefited, harvesting what was left behind in those countries, buying those factories for nothing then closing the majority of them, having assured the ripping apart of potential competitors. The other benefit was the huge amount of well skilled and educated workers, medical professionals, engineers and other specialists whom emigrated by constrain.
ioan,
the Russian oligarchs benefited to a greater degree than the West. They still do.
The problem is not Est vs West, it is a class war.
Well, I know that, the eastern European countries also have their oligarchs, who benefited on the “great change” which wasn’t other than raping the nations economical values obtained with hard work by the people after world war two until the 90’es. In the following years, everything had been legalized, hence the new class of potent and rich people appeared almost over night, the majority went down as they were before the war. Now, they say that the path of normality has been reestablished (sic). So, the normality – according to them – is to have classes. The first world war dismembered the monarchies which opposed a certain status-quo at their time, during second world war, they attempted to destroy the first socialist state which accumulated the economy in the hands of the state, after the collapse they successfully “recuperated” everything: no monarchies, no state own independent economy, no socialism of any kind.
Roses of My Dream
by ioan
There’s a vase without flowers
Without water, dried and sick
Sitting in a shadowed corner
Counting passing days of week
Years have gone when light was in
When the vase stood on the table,
Housing flowers, roses queen
With a smile which now is fable
Spider webs are now your friends
And the softly settled dust
Waiting for the night to end
Then return to what you lost
Will you find it, will you not?
Best of days you ever seen
When you shined and smiled a lot
With the roses of your dream…
Thank you ioan. That is lovely. This poem saved my head early morning :-)
IOC presented forged signatures in doping case against Russian biathletes, lawyers say
https://www.rt.com/sport/482108-cas-ioc-rodchenkov-fake-signatures/
“On Monday the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) considered a claim by Russian lawyer Alexey Panich, who said that IOC documents on the case involving three Russian biathletes – Olga Zaitseva, Yana Romanova and Olga Vilukhina – contained fake signatures of former Moscow Anti-Doping laboratory chief Grigory Rodchenkov.
The trio of Russian athletes were slapped with lifetime bans in 2017 and stripped of medals over alleged doping violations.
According to TASS, the IOC will need to provide an explanation regarding the documents – the key evidence against the Russian athletes – by Tuesday.”
Thank you for keeping up with WADA scandal. It was a pogrom against Russian athletes that convinced me the west is perverted beyond hope.
In December 2019 WADA banned Russia from hosting or competing in international sporting events for four years, over alleged manipulation of data from the Moscow anti-doping laboratory. The ban covers next summer’s Olympics in Japan and the FIFA 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

WADA discontent over Russian domination in sports
The Russians won three medals at the ISU Grand Prix Figure Skating Final in Turin, Italy, in the first week of December 2019. Three talented young Russian ice skaters took gold, silver and bronze. Then they stood on the winners’ podium, while three Russian flags were hoisted behind them. The Russian winners sang the Russian hymn together with many Russian spectators who danced, sang and waved Russian banners in the stadium.
Needless to say, this angered Russia’s “western partners” including the infamous WADA so much that punishing measures had to be taken promptly. So, just a few days later, on the 9th of December 2019, WADA decided to blanket-ban all Russian sportspeople from international competitions for the next four years. Now western sportspeople might have a slight chance of grabbing a few more gold medals than before.

The United States of Amnesia, and Its Incredible Asbestos Pants
West slapped a four-year Olympic ban on Russia. Because it could, it did.
Since Russia is in second place only to Germany for all-time medal rankings in the Olympics, and since Russia eventually made it back up to Public Enemy Number One in the USA – after a brief hiatus during which it looked like a combination of Boris Yeltsyn and teams of Harvard economists were going to make a respectful pauper of it while it became a paradise for international investors – the USA spares no effort to beat Russia at everything.
On occasions where it is not particularly successful, as it was not in the 2014 Winter Olympics at Sochi, it has turned to other methods – screaming that the Russians are all dopers who benefit from a state-sponsored doping scheme, and implementing bans to prevent as many Russian athletes as possible from competing.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grigory_Rodchenkov
Yeah, so now with Rodchenkov in hidiing in cia witness protection program we have the following:
-fraudulent charges against three Russian atheletes which ruined their sports carreers by the fraud rodchenkov;
-fraudulent signatures of a fraud to support the fraudulent ban of three Russian atheletes;
-Russiagate alive and active;
-if true, the IOC needs to find another line of activity, maybe such as street clean up of San Francisco.
Oh the irony…
A fundraising page has been set up to repair College Green in Bristol after it was turned into a mud bath by crowds at today’s climate strike. Thousands of people gathered in the rain to listen to Greta Thunberg deliver her message on protecting the environment: https://twitter.com/dailybugle1898/status/1233449810675499010
(Just look at that picture… )
I think we have bigger problems now than this climate shizzle, it’s getting boring too.

Last night, Bank of Japan bought 101 Billion Yen in ETFs. This was done supposedly to support the “market.”
The last time I looked, the West, Japan and Korea were all supposedly capitalist countries.
The BOJ now owns over 80% of the ETFs traded in Japan.
The actions of the BOJ (and their past actions) don’t look like capitalism to me.

Loius Armstrong On the Sunny Side of the Street
Grab your coat and get your hat
Leave your worries on the doorstep
Life can be so sweet
On the sunny side of the street
Can’t you hear the pitter-pat
And that happy tune is your step
Life can be complete
On the sunny side of the street
I used to walk in the shade with my blues on parade
But I’m not afraid… This rover’s crossed over
If I never had a cent
I’d be rich as Rockefeller
Gold dust at my feet
On the sunny side of the street

I used to walk in the shade with them blues on parade
Now I’m not afraid… This rover has crossed over
Now if I never made one cent
I’ll still be rich as Rockefeller
There will be gold dust at my feet
On the sunny

This must be one of the most ridiculous project proposals I’ve read in many years.
There are plans evolving to close the North Sea connection with the Atlantic: https://translate.google.com/translate?sl=de&tl=en&u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.n-tv.de%2Fwissen%2FWir-empfehlen-die-Nordsee-einzuschliessen-article21606032.html
(from the n-tv.de site, via google translate)
Costs are estimated at 250 to 550 billion. Since I know that cost estimation for projects is a serious profession, I expect the real costs to be the first proposal -and then the maximum one- multiplied with a factor pi. Gee, who’s going to pay that? It’s more than the insane USA yearly military budget (not counting the trillions missing).
And this all out of ‘fear’ of sea level rise, which is not really observed. Some get hypnotized by Greta ;-)
Wonder what the Russian Federation would think about blocking their Baltic Fleet from sailing to the Atlantic ;-)
Cheers, Rob
Just to add something.
France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden and so on happen to have such odd things as ‘harbours’. Always convenient in the art of transport of stuff.
The project initiators (let’s call it ‘imagineering’) thought of some lock gates to allow ships passing. Have the readers here ever seen the effort to pass a ship through a thing like that?
Unfortunately for them, the Strait of Dover alone is the busiest shipping lane in the world, with some 400 ships passing per day: https://www.marineinsight.com/marine-navigation/the-strait-of-dover-the-busiest-shipping-route-in-the-world/
(Just check that AIS screenshot in this link, good luck with that ;-) )

https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2020/03/02/despite-doj-objections-judicial-watch-wins-court-order-forcing-hillary-clinton-and-cheryl-mills-to-sit-for-depositions/#more-185226
This a huge, detailed, and lengthy account by a blogger who has been “in the weeds” on this corruption almost from day 1 on the libyan disaster: operation zero footprint. Hillary, rice, power et al were up to their eyeballs on this diaster which destroyed libya. The court ordered depositions of clinton was as a result of an effort by Judicial Watch, one of the few orgs trying to get sunlight on the festering gangreous sore that is the doj and the fbi and the cia. An attempt was made to block this court ordered effort by the doj, as in AG Barr the Blocker.
(Warning: this account is very long, detailed but well worth the effort by serious citizens)!
Well done, Judicial Watch!
Earlier, I posted a link over on non MSM News of the utter destruction of Libya and the total lack of accountability; maybe, just maybe, the accountability could begin here with this court order in a small step. I post the link here again for emphasis:
https://www.theamericanconservative.com/articles/whitewashing-the-wests-disastrous-war-in-libya/
The destruction of Lybia is one of the greatest embarassments of our time. From the wealthiest nation of Africa to a lawless sh*thole with openly slave trade. Don’t point the finger at Hillary alone, our fine French friend Sarkozy was one of the main drivers (the French Franc is still used as a currency in Africa, Ghadaffi wanted to ditch that with a gold-backed dinar).
Sometimes when I’m sarcastic, I’d refer to Ghadaffi as ‘The Joker, but more tasteful in his clothing’, but I have to admit that he built something.
I have no trust in some ‘justice’ about this. There are too many with dirty hands who don’t give a rats a** about people.
Expect a judge or more to be found with two gunshot entry wounds in the back of their head, which will be counted as ‘suicide’. Don’t underestimate the Clintons, especially Hillary. When she cuts herself no blood will come out, just icewater.
(Sorry, I would like to see it otherwise too… )
Cheers, Rob
No embarrassment (the DEMGOP party with their minders always get exactly what they want).
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-15393497
Here’s the GOP in 2011 https://www.commentarymagazine.com/max-boot/donald-trump-gops-apologists-for-tyrants/
In fact, in 2011 Trump was agitating for an intervention: “I can’t believe what our country is doing,” Trump said at the time. “Gaddafi in Libya is killing thousands of people, nobody knows how bad it is, and we’re sitting around we have soldiers all have the Middle East, and we’re not bringing them in to stop this horrible carnage and that’s what it is: It’s a carnage… Now we should go in, we should stop this guy, which would be very easy and very quick. We could do it surgically, stop him from doing it, and save these lives. This is absolutely nuts. We don’t want to get involved and you’re gonna end up with something like you’ve never seen before.
and the Oranguturd in Feb 2016:
here were a lot of clashes in the Houston Republican debate on Thursday night, with Marco Rubio grabbing headlines for the skillful way in which he exposed Donald Trump’s hypocrisy on illegal immigration and his lack of policy specifics. But just as telling in a way was the one subject on which three of the four candidates — Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, and John Kaisch — agreed: their support for dictators.
All three were unanimous in their praise for Muammar Gaddafi, the man who Ronald Reagan once called the “mad dog of the Middle East.”
John Kasich: “Libya didn’t go down because there was some people revolution. Hillary Clinton, Samantha Power all these other people convinced the president to undermine Gaddafi. They undermined him and now they have created a cesspool in Libya.”
Taras, Rob
Absolutely!
Rob you said…”Sarkozy was one of the main drivers”…but don’t forget the murderous David Cameron too…the gloating in the below links regarding their self declared success on how they had just united Libya is utterly repulsive.
Obama, Clinton, Rice, Cameron, and Sarkozy should all be locked up and the key thrown away. The misery they jointly created is both monumental and generational. They are responsible for completely wrecking what was at the time the second most financially successful economy on the African continent…ironically it was this very success that prompted them to destroy Libya..it doesn’t get any sicker than that.
IMO world leaders like this that cause death and misery on this scale should be held accountable and executed. How sick is humanity when they are rewarded for their crimes with immense wealth.
It is equally depraved and dystopic when we lock up the heroic journalists that try to expose these crimes…proof positive that the leading western powers are nothing more than a morally bankrupt bloodthirsty mob. Sad too when the lesser Western powers including NZ and Australia underwrite these actions or are simply pathetically compliant in their silence.
Cheers

The situation in Iraq is still unsecure due to american presence in the country. According to recent decisions by the iraqi parliament and the prime ministers orders, US military forces was required to leave the country . US forces were then to be put under NATO command as a result and prerequisition for continued stay in the country. Now USA is threatening actions against the iraqi military forces PMU’s again, and has put the leader on their terrorist list. As the iraqi military at this time is capable of handling the threat of ISIL and other terror groups, it means that NATO is representing an immediate threat to security and stability in Iraq. One should realize that NATO and particularily as lead by USA have been both ISIL, al Qaeda and other terrorgroups, as well as the defence against them, as these groups were started trained and equipped by mainly USA and Britain and has been supported by them and a large group of their allied nations (NATO). The situation therefore is unsustainable a constant state terrorism, and should be referred to the UN security council according to prevention of war as it is and not as it is falsely presented . It has been proven that USA and Britain created both al Qaeda and ISIL and supported these forces during the Libyan war and the Syrian war and developed ISIL from camp Bucca in Iraq (run by the US military), and statements from Sen. John McCain confirmed meeting with them (as an envoy for pres Obama administration, NED), by Sec. of State John Kerry meeting with syrian opposition ISIL was a main force to replace the government of Syria, and , Sec. of State Hillary Clinton to put the fighters on the ground in Syria into the new syrian government (Doha conference), these forces were part of the political “government of exile”. In Iraq ISIL was equipped with the american forces prestored heavy material including Abrams tanks and artillery pieces after initially equipped with military material of light vehicles, equipment transfer was proven by US anti-terrorism government agency. It was supported by international alliances of countries NATO and gulfstates, so that the international corruption has been extreme ,totally ignored and obscured by censorship and fake news as owned by these states. Syria was totally blocked from press coverage and satellite and cable channels cut .

Трамп согласился на встречу ядерной пятерки по инициативе Путина.
Trump agrees to meet Putin.
If this is true it may be more significant than any news…………. in years.
But note well: You posted this several hours ago…and it seems to have fallen… on deaf ears.
‘How could that be?”, perhaps you ask. “Can’t the potential be seen?? What are people waiting for??”
It’s elementary my friend! Sanity and peace are such a bore,
What really stirs the blood and excites imagination.. is WAR!
Making such a meeting happen in May in Russia, is where emotional energies would have been better spent.
That were infinitely more productive than in denying any possibility that saner people might eventually awaken within the USA to repudiate the Lamestream Media “Russia-Russia-Russia” narrative…….and the clueless coastal metropolitan idiots that fell for it………..whose ranks have thinned, considerably……by the way.
Oh, it is true. But with a pre-condition that will make it very hard to happen. The pre-condition is that the Chinese must be included in a 3-way arms agreement. Putin invited the permanent members of the UN Security Council. The Chinese said .. they are not interested in an arms agreement with the US. So, at the outset, out of the starting blocks, the US have set their pre-conditions.
I hope Putin and Lavrov pushes through with this initiative which is very specific, to avoid an arms race. I think on the level of diplomacy, a lot of water will have to run under the bridge – specifically the one of no preconditions. Russia has already said that they will sign the continuance of the Start treaty just as it stands .. But, seemingly the US administration is still non-agreement capable.
Yes, is a schizophrenic “agreement capable”??
But the nutcase is a system based on insane homocidal/genocidal conflict (The British Empire System of Divide and Conquer) NOT all persons trying to get the world and their particular nation safely through the Insane Asylum and out into the sunshine and fresh air……..into a slightly (cough, cough) healthier environment.
As an entity the US administration (it is not alone in that regard…in the West, especially…….) is schizophrenic and this has been, without question a very vexing annoyance to all concerned except adult children that long ago gave up on any attempts to comprehend the world they live in, outside of their own immediate needs.
However, not all individuals in the asylum are schizophrenic. Some have a rational purpose: Better relations with Russia and China.
This is absolutely verboten among the asylum administrators, particularly those who obsessively cling to British Geopolitics of Eternal Conflict……..as the very foundation human affairs on this planet must be eternally guided by.
In obedience to this goddamned idiocy the Socialists, The Fake Left have become far and away THE most hysterically rabid Russophobes in the nuthouse. WHY? Peer pressure! When there is a crisis human beings “circle the wagon” in like “minded” groups….often of utterly deluded FOOLS!
To protect and preserve their identity……..which is nothing but an F-ing MESS of insanity, delusion: “Identity (usually down around the vicinity of their crotch…..”between the legs” …..where they have “feeling” as opposed to between the ears….where they went numb decades ago) Politics!
There is actually a quite healthy reaction against these folk in “Murica”.
Putin might just be more aware of that fact….(than you) and the constraints on the US President to date…by the Empire determined to chew up his time in office with utter off the wall wailing and moaning and banging of heads against the institutional block walls.
Or…..he needs you to tell him he’s wasting his time perhaps…….and rather than notice the possibility of agreement that hasn’t been possible for 3 years because of the crazies…perhaps becoming possible…. THIS YEAR…but instead…………he should perhaps “feel” like you do….and give up???
Bro93, you said “But the nutcase is a system based on insane homocidal/genocidal conflict (The British Empire System of Divide and Conquer)”
I am wondering if you include this** gentleman as “British” [ as a British but not English person, would you allow me to ask you to specify it is not, in fact, the “British” but the English, to whom you should point the pen? :-)
He wrote that ” (James) Madison was even pithier in an October 1787 letter to Thomas Jefferson in which he summed up the meaning of checks and balances and separation of powers in a single sentence. “Divide et impera,” he wrote, “the reprobated axiom of tyranny, is under certain qualifications, the only policy, by which a republic can be administered on just principles.
These twenty-five words tell you everything you need to know about American politics, including why they’re now in such trouble. Divide et impera, Latin for “divide and conquer,” is Madison’s ironic justification for dividing government up into separate executive, legislative, and judicial functions and then pitting them against one another so as to neutralize democracy’s most dangerous tendencies.
It seems one of the framers of the American Constitution institutionalised “Divide and Conquer” into the very roots of America as it was forming.
Not sure what part the British played here :-)
I understand the vein in which you said ‘What really stirs the blood and imaginations is war”. Yes it does. Especially for those who WANT to partake. For those drafted, not so much.
I really hope Trump and Putin can meet.
Here is a theory that I have never seen discussed. I’d appreciate some input from and thoughts of Moveable Feast Cafe patrons.
Dot #1 – It is asserted that Israel/Zionists/Jews are in control of the American political and media landscape.
Dot #2 – It is believed that Jewish money both “makes” and “breaks” and thus controls American politicians.
Dot #3 – One third (1/3) of American foreign aid goes to Israel.
So here is my question. Is it possible that some of that foreign aid (American taxpayer money) is being “recycled”, in other words, routed back to the U.S. (for example, through casino moguls like Sheldon Adelson) and used to further tighten the Jewish grip on American politics? In other words, are the American taxpayers paying Israel to further tighten Israel’s grip on America?
Interesting.
Of your assumprtions 1 and 2 I’m pretty convinced. Maybe It could have been added that the financial world is dominated by Jewish families. That’s a story in itself. Of Dot 3, I don’t know exactly but wouldn’t be surprised.
To get a picture of Dot 1, I would advise anyone to read ‘The controversy of Zion’ of David Reed. It’s from the fifties but still highly actual. It describes the history of zionism. It will take you a weekend but is absolutely worth it.
Accounting for your question, it is known that US politicians transfer tax money as aid to certain nations, on the premission that a certain percentage is transfered back to private funds of the politicians involved (*cough*, Clinton Foundation, *cough*). I’m no insider here on the Jewish cause but wouldn’t count it out.
Smart isn’t it, for no more than 2% of the population?
Cheers, Rob
Consider Littlejohn, that the relationship has changed. Now Israel is not leading anyone by the nose, but Israel is like a US state now – integrated. So, the decisions there are US decisions. Because they are so integrated, the management has changed – it is subtle. They don’t do anything without ‘asking’ first but it is the same as a powerful lobby group. Consider also the monetary flows .. It is the same flow of money – they just get a lot of it and return some, and get some. But in my view the relationship under Trump is now different, or perhaps it is just that we can see the relationship better.
Littlejohn

In the nineties when heroin became a scourge with which one of my beautiful and bright sons involved himself, I, seeking to help him rehabilitate himself, came to the sad conclusion that there was little real political will to rid Australia of drugs. From there I Learned about the underbelly of lies: crime and corruption in our resource rich nation, and then in 2008 about the financial structures until the tentacles of evil revealed by Jeffrey Epstein and his girlfriend/pimp Ghislaineand Harvey Weinstein sealed for me the big picture of the anti-Christ: the combined energies of uncontrolled lusts for money, sex and power.
While people around me were squabbling and protesting about sharia laws coming to Australia, no one wanted to look at the practices and principles of the Sanhedrin: the legal system of the so-called west. Pushing its Agenda to the bitter, evil end.

Cybernetics occurs on a societal level as feedback. Laurent Guyenot nails it on the head with the title of his essays “Our God is your God too, but he has chosen us”. It is all about attitude and networking– somewhere I read the claim that people tend to prefer people like themselves genetically fourth cousins or closer.
Since no one is objectively “jewish” self identification is paramount. As the culture is less and less “Christian” contradistinction is less and less important, save for the ruling elites who are dying out. Israel Shamir claims that all that will remain will be the jews who practice their religion, a minor minority like the Amish.
I have read Douglass Reed’s Controversy of Zion but have found it to be theologically unbalanced. I like his other works, notably Far and Wide. I recommend the other authors above, Guyenot and Shamir.
Finally, some good news. From eastern Europe. RT reported on Monday:
“… There’s been a backlash against sexual-minority rights in Poland where a third of municipalities have declared themselves ‘LGBT-free zones’. …”
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v116FfSYj28
This a sensitive subject. Saker wrote quite some articles about it.
I think it is wrong to derive people rights about how they are biologically printed. At the same time, I don’t want my daughter to get overflowed with transgender propaganda which is abundant the last years.
To get an idea, when I heard she was overflowed with crap about ‘genderfree toilets’ when she was just at primary school, I told her something like this:
‘You go to a toilet to pee, which any vertebrate has to do now and then. So, you take a toilet that is suited to the organs that Mother Nature gave you to pee. The rest is BS, you just go there to pee, nothing else. If you have both organs and thus are hermaphrodite which is extremely rare, I grant you a free choice. If you have neither, you’d better get to a hospital pretty quick. And any snowflake who has a problem with this is not equipped to any problem at all’.
She’s very intelligent and laughed but hey, let’s stop with this gender crap, however anyone who is other than stereotype has rights too.
Duties as well, but many forget that when it suits them.
All this emotion brings nothing. It is a non-item, propagated by people that want to destroy regular family life for a certain obscure agenda. I can handle it as an adult, but don’t bore my daughter on school with this crap. She won’t fall for that, but let me also speak for her age friends.
And I say this as a 100% heterosexual white male, according to some hysterics I’m then close to Satan, so beware ;-)
Cheers, Rob
“… how they are biologically printed …”
That is exactly one part of these filthy perverts’ propaganda, that they are somehow “born” (!!!) as homos…
Reminds me of a cartoon in a well known American daily, some 25 years ago, when “political correctness” (tyranny over freedom of speech) had not yet taken firm root in that country. In the cartoon, the obstetrician in a delivery ward, with a big smile raises a just born baby, declaring, as it is custom, the sex of the baby, saying … “It is a homosexual!”…
Rob, fear delivers everyone into Satan’s crooked hands, that is the dilemma we face, people mind-numbed into submission ! But your comment takes a rational approach, and your daughter is intelligent, so much the better. Children in my experience are often amazing intelligent in ways beyond grown ups.
However, the mind-chained masses carry on via fear enslavement, which in an ongoing, every day basis is overcome by free perception of any one particular scenario expressed by any sincere, caring grown up.
To discuss hot and sensitive topics, and in the way you have described, is precisely their right.
To trample on this right, in any way or form whatsoever, is nothing more than fear-engender tactics.
What are you trying to say? I don’t quite get you.
Cheers, Rob
The main thing about your reply, is that you have enough respect and honesty to say you don’t quite get me !
I am on a quick saker scan, and will respond later.
Now it is the end of my day, I am very tired. We have aviation crisis in GB: surprise visit from son with no job !
I just read through your comment above, and believe I was trying to say that I agree, and express one particular aspect of this, going beyond stereo types, addressing topics as they arise, freedom versus mind control issues.
Cheers
Ok, a joke that I heard recently (some people say that Germans have no humour. They have, but first they want to know you better before they are coming loose).
Reagan, Clinton and Trump flow to Heavens Gate (don’t ask me how this is possible). St. Peter looks at them and says ‘this is an overflow, I’ll send you right away to God’.
God looks at them, from His throne, with several seats beside him.
He askes Reagan ‘Who are you?’ Whereas Reagan answers ‘I’m Ronald Reagan, and I ended the cold war!’
God says ‘Ohw, cool, come sit beside of me on the left side’.
Then he askes Clinton ‘Who are you?’ and Clinton answers ‘I’m Bill Clinton and I ended the budget deficits!’
God says ‘wow, that is amazing, come sit beside of me on the right side’.
And then He turnes His gaze on Trump, but before he starts to speak Trump already takes the word and says ‘I’m Donald Trump and I’m sure you are sitting on my place!’
Disclaimer: this is a joke ;-)

Really, in a developed nation with some 350 million citizens, this is the best presidential candidate?
I know, the DNC can still mess everything up (noticed that Hillary is so silent lately?), just as the GOP once tackeled Ron Paul.
I think a nation needs a president who is intelligent enough to not want that job.

MIT Study: No Evidence of ‘Election Fraud’ in Bolivia That Resulted in Coup
https://21stcenturywire.com/2020/03/02/mit-study-no-evidence-of-election
-fraud-in-bolivia-that-resulted-in-coup/
Back in November 2019, former Bolivian President Evo Morales was ousted in a
coup after claims of election fraud from the Organization for American States
(OAS). A new MIT study into the October 20th presidential election does not
support the conclusions of the OAS and casts further doubt on the already flimsy
claims. Much damage has already been done, Morales fled the country, members
of his Movimento al Socialismo (MAS) party have been arrested, and dozens of
his supporters were shot and killed by police in the unrest that followed the coup.
INDIA
Over 40 people were declared killed by Hindu mobs last week, with hundreds
more reported injured amid news accounts of largely useless police intervention to
end the violence and meager international criticism of New Delhi’s failure to
protect its minority Muslim population.
The worst anti-Muslim violence by Hindu nationalists began on the eve of a state
visit by US President Donald Trump.
A police statement on Saturday, however, came without elaborating on whether
the detainees were perpetrators of deadly violence on mosques and ordinary
Muslim residence or Muslims defending their homes against indiscriminate
attacks by Hindu nationalists with little intervention by police officers and other
government security forces.

RT surprise: They are actually half-way decently covering the US “silly” pre election season. With quirky-cute Caleb Maupin sporting his gravitas like a generational hand-me-down and the article below which showed that Bernie was prepared this time for the manipulations of the California Democratic Party machine. Bernie Bros had people demanding paper ballots also and had excellent texting rapport with their cell phone totting followers.

Now if CrossTalk would only get some controversial folks like Prof Francis A. Boyle, author of the Bioweapons Terrorism Act of 1977, along with some medical experts one might believe that its coverage of the viral flu provides some useful information. But that is probably asking too much.
Let us see if Tulsi continues to dog sell out Sanders in order to demand that issues be discussed or will she told, too? Take one for the left-wing of the team?
Who do we know, how do we know them, and what do we know ? Are we programmed or do we programme ?
Do I like you because you’re like me, or not my type, but you honor devotion to truth above all else ?
So who has taught me that, about knowing something or someone beyond the me of me, or the you of you ?
It’s the sense of the other, the people sense, and humans can’t teach it, what then a robot, ET man from Mars ?
Christ said You Will Know Them by Their Fruits
(“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.
You will know them by their fruits.”)
Something very particular is meant by this…
When one thing is thought, another is said and yet another is done, how can man not be confused ? and this is a widespread human behavior.
If I understand you correctly, then it is because the sum total of anyone, despite thoughts, actions, beliefs and so on, is possible to be recognized, read, sensed or felt.
The blind French resistance interviewer and leader, Jacques Lusseran possessed this “people sense.”
This has nothing to do with personal interpretation, in evaluation, how can it, if someone comes along in sheep’s clothing who is a ravenous wolf I am to beware of !?

This hospital is 2 miles from my residence. Hmmm. we shall see how self quarantine works in self centered USA where no one “knows the drill”. and the last generation which actually dud know, will be the one first to die off with this virus.
I will keep you posted. My next door neighbor is an ER nurse at the Kaiser down in Sacramento.
Too close for comfort!
I am not knowledgeable on defense against natural virus or aerosol carried virus (bioweapon virus) so I was interested to learn more about which mask would work .
I see that RZ mask is protective of claimed 99.9 % (tested) and able to filter 0.1 micron .
https://rzmask.com/collections/filters-valves/products/f1-standard-filter-active-carbon-3pk
A very versatile mask with the filter inside is very durable, and for use anywhere, like normal use cycling in traffic, protective work mask etc. RZ masks sold out from factory.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005VRIAD6/ref=twister_B018849898?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1#productDetails
I would not take government info not to buy mask seriously. Masks are being bought up in bulk right now.
In fact the government are buying entire production lines.
I would probably consider good eye protection as well.

So CV-19 didn’t originate in the Wuhan seafood market after all…now there’s a novel idea!
https://www.globalresearch.ca/china-coronavirus-shocking-update/5705196
No wonder Patient-zero was a tad tricky to locate in Wuhan…I wonder if this is something to do with the fact that he was never fricken there anyway!
Without scientific data like this and what is likely to be a very compelling bloody trail leading directly to the culprits, the whole CV-19 saga had a certain Hegemon’s fingerprints plastered all over it from day one anyway.
So let’s see how the MSM gets on keeping this one under wraps…oops, almost forgot…thats right they own the narrative…and subsequently make it all up as they go along.
This could turn out to be a bit like Jack the Ripper being caught red-handed in the act of disemboweling yet another hapless victim and yet getting away scot-free with it simply because he just happened to own the law enforcement agency, the newspapers, and of course the narrative as well!

Will sell-out Sanders demand a space for Tulsi? don’t hold your breath– As of March 15th she is the only minority and female candidate in contention ?

I’ve read the most hilarious propositions lately.
– Oprah Winfrey (WTF?)
– Michelle Obama (wtf?!? At least she doesn’t need to be explained her way in the WH, but that’s about it)
– Occasional Cortex (She is an actress imho, too young (minimum age is 35), but she may run the WH bar. On demand she will cry at an empty parking lot).
Just remember that the VP is just some heartbeats away from the button. So, Chelsea Clinton would be a bad idea.
I don’t think TPTB will grant Tulsi that. She’s supposed to have publicity, but no power.
(Btw, for Joe Biden I would recommend a nurse. He’s close to assisted living).

There is reason, as you note, to consider the possible role of the US in driving the original bioweapon attack in Wuhan. There is also lots of possibility that there are different agendas of sabotage that have been mounted, some working in common cause and maybe some working a cross-purposes.

… 5G and the China epidemic …
by Jon Rappoport … February 28, 2020
” … One VERY serious claim: when 5G employs a frequency band at 60GHz, disruption in oxygen molecules occurs—and the crucial ability of hemoglobin to pick up oxygen and transport it throughout the body is seriously impaired … ”
… also, some comments have academic links.
… the link …
https://blog.nomorefakenews.com/2020/02/28/5g-and-the-china-epidemic/
64,000 5G base stations currently up and running in all of China might not seem like a very big number. But it could be a big number, if only a limited number of cities are hosting these stations. And perhaps other telecom companies are very active, and perhaps they have installed more stations.
How much 5G is currently deployed in Wuhan, which is said to be the initial Chinese center for 5G deployment? Wuhan, of course, has been called “the epicenter of the coronavirus epidemic.” If 2018 and 2019 5G predictions are close to accurate, the answer would be: a lot.
Any significant deployment of 5G in Chinese cities can create human damage. And of course, in order to hide this damage, the cover story of THE VIRUS would be invoked. “Don’t blame our corporate 5G, or try to derail the hundreds of billions of dollars immediately coming our way. It’s the coronavirus. Salute the virus.”
This triggers the tantalizing question, how many 5G base stations are there in Northern Italy and Iran?
Just asking.
Cheers, Rob
… people are very mobile so overall lateral thinking is required here … but then I find this …
South Korea was the second country in the world to deploy a 5G network, and it’s on track to become the global leader in 5G penetration. Its speedy 5G deployment is the result of its government taking a hands-on approach in regulating the telecoms industry. South Korea’s 5G subscriber base has already eclipsed 4G’s growth rate in the first two months since 5G services launched in the country.

The US has shut down its central biowarfare lab. Odd timing, huh?
The C.D.C. cited “national security reasons” as the rationale for not releasing information about its decision.
“Research is currently on hold,” the United States Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases, in Fort Detrick, Md., said in a statement on Friday. The shutdown is likely to last months, Caree Vander Linden, a spokeswoman, said in an interview.

Video: Taiwan Virologist argues that the Coronavirus Originated in the US.
This Taiwan virologist and pharmacologist explains on Taiwanese TV that the geographical location with the greatest diversity of virus strains must be the original source because a single strain cannot emerge from nothing. He demonstrated that only the US has all the five known strains of the virus (while Wuhan and most of China have only one, as do Taiwan and South Korea, Thailand and Vietnam, Singapore, and England, Belgium and Germany), constituting a thesis that the haplotypes in other nations may have originated in the US.

The United States launched the world’s first commercial 5G services in 2018 and will have twice as many commercial 5G deployments as the next leading nation by this year’s end. The US is replicating the private-sector-led strategy it rode to 4G dominance to continue its leadership into the 5G era. This approach provides operators with autonomy over their own deployment strategies and methods, which fuels competition and ultimately drives innovation and investment as a result.

He added that the EU border security agency, Frontex, had pushed around 4,900 migrants back to Turkey injuring 164 in the process.”
Greece and Turkey already have a not-so-friendly history for quite some time. Turkish airforce jets provoke the Greek airspace on almost a daily basis.
Due to the many islands, the ‘border’ is not so sharp defined. And now at both sides gunmen, and tens of thousands in between. A move of Erdogan for distraction from his Idlib project.
Don’t think that they are all Syrian refugees. They are among them, but the majority is not. Amazing many Africans, that are brought there by people smugglers. Expect the MSM to show women and crying children, but they have to find them because almost all are young men.
I remember that years ago when this grew, I said to a friend that at a certain moment millions of people would be wondering in Europe, and no one would accept them. And I asked ‘What do you think will happen to them?’
