Much music being shared in the Cafe, which is good.
Much seems to be of a more “modern” flavour, so I’m not sure how many will enjoy this, but I suspect a few. A very rare find, Pavarotti when young – sans beard even!! Looking so different to the one we remember, but that voice, rising to it’s coming power, was stunning.
So – I bring to share with any who might get the same lift and kick from it I did. Enjoy.

Thank you. Funny what will cause one to cry. Pavarotti singing “Caruso” will do it.When I realized Jimi Hendrix was physically dead in 71 I sobbed like there was no tomorrow. I did the same last Sunday when my little dog Lilly played to roughly with my budgie Greenie. I had had her for ten years. Again, sobbed like a real silly. She really understood me.
Cheers, and thank you.
Brother Blue Iconoclast
Cant tell you how sad I felt to hear your news about your little budgie. 10 yrs is a long time in a lifetime to had a friend. I’d have sobbed my heart out too – so I certainly understand your reaction.
My sympathies – I hope the pain fades to bearable soon.
Cheers, and all the very best Brother Blue.
Is Egypt the only country to speak up against international terrorism ? The terrorism is targeting all peoples.
https://www.almasdarnews.com/article/egypt-sentences-13-people-to-life-in-prison-for-joining-jihadist-group-in-syria/
No John4. Russia has, for some years now. In President Putin has called, over and over, for united action by the major powers on this saying that they must all join together to defeat it.
Major problem with this, of course, is the one the most major of the major powers is itself a cause and sponsor of terrorism.
But he is correct in saying that it needs all of the others to come together sans US to defeat terrorism. Many outfits that US supports are banned in Russia, and being proven a member and operative in Russia would get them a prison sentence.
Pamela,
if he wishes to defeat terrorism, can you explain why he sanctions the sale of thermobaric MLRS to Saudi:
https://sputniknews.com/military/201904101073985275-russia-saudi-arabia-solntsepek/
?
Median,
This is old news from 2019 describing a trade deal from 2017 which contained several caveats: that Saudi Arabia lobbies for removal of sanctions on Russia following events in Ukraine, that they help with reconstruction of Syria, that they recognise Syria government and Assad as legitimate.
Russia has sought to displace the US from the ME. The Russians prefer an Arab OSCE type organisation instead of an Arab -NATO. Here is an interesting article about that:
https://www.al-monitor.com/pulse/originals/2019/07/intel-russia-proposal-gulf-security-iran-tensions.html
Do we have any evidence what these were used for?? I do remember that when a rocket blew up Saudi’s main oil refinery, Putin teasingly joked that “SA should buy our defence equipment, it’s much better {i.e. than the American one they do use}”
This does imply that SA was NOT buying from Russia.
Whether these can be used against Yemen, or purely for incoming defence, I dont know. I dont know anything about the technology and physics of these things.
As far as I am aware, the machinery being used against Yemen is primarily SA, USA and UK with some French. The biggest attack isn’t rocketry, it’s blocking their ports and sanctions, starving people to death, dying from lack of medical care and hospitals with anything in them.
And I have not seen any evidence that Russia has any part of that.
Median is a well-known troll, he managed to “squeeze through” today
just ignore him
The Saker
Ah! I didn’t know. Thanks Saker.

Moscow Delivers Deadly Rocket Artillery to Wrong Side of the Saudi War in Yemen
Saudi Arabia takes delivery of Russian thermobaric missiles launcher. Inevitably they will end up used in Yemen where Saudis are the aggressor.
This is nothing to be proud of. A fine piece of engineering (trades range for explosive power, ergo comes heavily armored — the West has no real equivalent) and deadly, but is going to be fighting on the wrong side.
I don’t think that pres. Putin has been very clear about it though. For example I think he should have offered more support to Donbass region to avoid the terrorist group operating there against the peoples of Novorussya before the situation got permanent. Novorussya are fighting terrorists, CIA, Blackwater, islamists, NATO and nazi groups besides the Ukraine army.
Still Russia sells weapons to all sides across the globe including NATO. To Turkey who support the terrorists, whom he also cooperate with on a number of issues . Turkey of course is one of the main sponsors of Muslim Brotherhood, al Qaeda groups and ISIL (ISIL somehow depreciated officially by the US alliance including Turkey, but nevertheless they are operating behind US forces cover and often has received direct support). And the other problem, is that all including the US alliances has declared they have to come together to fight terrorism (the only problem being they created all the groups, some of them officially sponsored by the Obama adminstration).
There are video’s where Putin is standing there SAYING in words 10 ft high “we have a new threat in terrorism and we must act together to defeat it”.
How that is “Not being very clear about it” I dont know.
It is an also an old mantra by EU UK and USA. And I know exactly who created al Qaeda and ISIL: USA UK and EU. France has been very active and Germany is also very supportive in fact they all run the same policies. During the attack on Syria they gathered an impressive political alliance for the attack on Syria by means of ISIL, al Qaeda including training by CIA/NATO.
So while I agree Russia have not participated in this, “coming together to fight these groups” have no meaning. Vladimir Putin also repeat “our partners” as if they were partners. This has no meaning.
You need to understand what using the term “partners” means to a Russian. Surprise surprise – it’s not the same as in the West. To start with, in Aus at least, it usually means your de facto spouse !! :-)
In Russia, at the level of Government Putin is speaking – It’s a technical term used in diplomatic circles. There is a video of Putin chastising a translator, I think during a meeting with the Finnish President, where he said “I welcomed them as “our friends”, Why did you change my words to “partner”?, please correct that”. I thought “Ah ha, see, clearly a partner isn’t a friend.”
If you want to make general interpretations of what a Person who speaks another language means by the Anglicised version of a word, you have to think and understand as they do, not as you normally would.
it’s again I think a mis representation to say that “Russia has not participated in a “coming together to fight these groups” as if the offer of co-operation was made, but Russia rejected it.
Putin for Russia has asked, over and over, the nations of the G7, the UNSC, to combine to co-operate in fighting terrorists.
To the best of my knowledge, he didn’t even get the courtesy of a reply.
Let me say that I like pres. Putin. I like the Russian positions in international relations which no doubt are indepted to pres. Putin. I still feel that I can voice criticism of doing more, and make some points regarding increasing action against the terrorists. In my view there should be an international Nuremberg tribunal , and until that happens national proceedings which reflects the seriousness of the warcrimes involved.
Well partner in Russia has nothing to do with personal relationship, and all to do with partnership as in business. Pres. Vladimir Putin says partner and it is always translated as partner, meaning political partnership in some form, a common goal. But they do not accept it so why continue using it ? They are not partners, so they sanction Russia. That is a fact.
Listen to the famous speech at Munich Conference in 2007. See their disturbed and angry faces.
“Today threats such as terrorism have taken on a global character”. ( At 7:10 of the video ).
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hQ58Yv6kP44
No, they were not partners, and they have proven it , they are acting as treasonous enemies.
” But they do not accept it so why continue using it ?”
You mean, Russia should let the “Main Enemy” dictate her choice of words to her? Never.
If Russia wishes to use a term she has every right to use it – and should continue to do so. It’s her word. What others do with it is their business. Why should Russia care – and why should she modify her language to suit her enemies?
If the dont want it or misunderstand it – that’s their problem, n’est pas?
What make you think I am Russia’s enemy?
John4Truth,

We can be fairly confident that they bat for exactly the same team.

This video is from May 2017. I already mentioned the 2017 deal above. Here it is again:
In Oct 2017 the Saudi King visited to Russia where they a struck a deal regarding arms, political concessions and rebuilding Syria.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russia–Saudi_Arabia_relations.
If we are going to discuss “news” from 2017 then at least we should discuss all of it.
I am assuming here, Serbian Girl, that the Saudi’s never did honour their part of this agreement, since it would have meant going against sanctions their BFF American enacted, and thus the “deal” was never completed.
It wouldn’t surprise me if Putin knew exactly what he was doing here; make like “we really want to be your friend, Saudi” and then make a request they knew full well the Saudis wouldn’t fulfil, thus again disproving the rubbish about “Russia and the AmeroZionist regime on on the same team .
However, there are those for whom Russia can do no right – and there is as little point our trying to point facts out to them as there is trying to make a colour blind man understand the difference between red and green. :-)
Pamela,
Yes, it seems the Saudis reneged on parts of the deal, which was between Putin and the old king, not the new guy MBS.
Maybe this is why Putin was quite un-accommodating with the Saudis in the oil price war?
Although Bahrain and UAE did recognise Assad and reopened their Damascus embassies which they would not have done if it wasn’t greenlighted by the Saudis. So it seems there was a small victory with this deal.
EU threatening to sue China over Hong Kong in the Haage.
LOL.
It’s getting interesting. This geopolitics is better than any TV show.
Well, when observing what the Anglo Empire and Euro partners and vassals are up to, it’s certainly getting to the point where it’s putting Monty Python to shame.
I dont think even they could have dreamed up half the looney stuff these guys are getting up to. Quite neat in a way. To dissolve fear of anything – laugh at it. More and more, I think that, like you, more of the world is passing a bowl of popcorn, cracking open a beer – and laughing their socks off.
A great article by Charles Hugh Smith on the US financial ‘markets’ which are little more than an obscenely monumental Ponzi scheme…I quote from the below link…
“The entire stock market rally of the past 20 years is nothing but a gigantic fraud based on stock buybacks funded by debt. Stocks go up because the majority owners of the stock borrow money from a banking sector that gives nearly free money to financiers and corporations. The corporate insiders buy back shares with the borrowed money, and the company services the loan.
The company’s income is devoted to paying the debt taken on to boost the personal wealth of insiders. That’s fraud. Or if you prefer, embezzlement.
Take away the stock buyback scam and the U.S. stock market collapses. Take away a Federal Reserve devoted to lavishing nearly free money on financiers and corporations and the buyback scam collapses.
We don’t just have financial bubbles that are popping; we have bubbles in trust and credibility that are popping, too. All the lies, skims, scams, excuses, frauds, bezzles, artifices, profiteering, promotional schemes and rackets are unraveling, not because the virus shut down the economy but because the enormity of all the corruption, lies and fraud is now so great that the entire status quo is collapsing under its own weight.”

And CHS on the subject of the ‘its nothing it will go away’ virus…
So what do we know with any sort of certainty about the claim that “the pandemic is over”? Very little. And there are still important open questions about the effects of the Covid-19 virus on younger, healthy people: though the virus kills relatively few people under the age of 50, some significant percentage of younger, healthy people suffer long-term organ damage, possibly as a result of the blood clotting the virus appears to trigger in roughly 3% of younger, healthy people who come down with severe cases.
These people didn’t die, and so they drop off the statistical count everyone is following as the key statistic. But the after-effects of the disease are long-term and serious, and deserve careful study.
Let’s say the death rate is 0.25%, but the number of cases that lead to long-term organ damage and disability is 2.5% — ten times higher than the death rate. Are we focusing on the wrong data set? Do we know why the virus affects some younger, healthy people and not others? Are there treatments that minimize or reverse organ damage? These are still questions without science-based answers.
“Herd immunity” is being presented as the solution, but do we know with any certainty that the presence of antibodies confers strong immunity for years to all variations of Covid-19? It seems way too early to claim immunity is certain and long-lasting.
Once the general public understands there are still significant uncertainties, the lack of certainty may have economic consequences that will be difficult to measure or predict.
The other point is that now that the time for authoritarian lockdowns has passed, everyone needs reliable information to make their own assessment of risk as part of deciding what activities they will do or not do to further their own interests.”

Of course, Knutty Wikkowski and Delores Cahill’s suggested strategies in hindsight now look positively and absolutely wreckless…although they were loudly applauded at the time by the supercilious in our midst…no surprises there.
https://www.oftwominds.com/blogjune20/pandemic-over6-20.html
…and a quote from William Haseltine on the same subject…
“Changes in behaviour can save us now. And far more certainly than any vaccine.
Last but not least, we should pay more attention to the most important part of this story: changing human behaviour can stop COVID-19 dead in its tracks.
Haseltine notes that countries including Taiwan, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand contained the virus so well they are in pursuit of eliminating it, and have done so without drugs or vaccines. They did it by testing, contact tracing and isolation of the infected in special quarantine hotels and facilities. Asian nations also demanded that their citizens wear masks. “We have effective tools at hand,” says Haseltine. “It is a sad thing to witness. Not all countries are doing that.”
Only one thing really sets successful nations apart from struggling jurisdictions during this pandemic and that’s experience. South Korea had battled a MERS epidemic and was prepared. The province of British Columbia just happened to have a chief medical officer with experience battling SARS.
Learn from nations that learned from their recent past pandemic horrors, Haseltine advises. Though even this call to action he tinges with a dour skepticism borne of his long experience. Having watched catastrophes unfold, from AIDS to COVID-19, Haseltine arrives at a simple conclusion.
“We fail collectively in undertaking the necessary action to assure that predictable calamities do not strike again and yet again.”
Unquote…last time I checked Sweden’s death rate was 500 per million population…exactly 125x NZs at 4 per million.

Perception is key:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nobel_Memorial_Prize_in_Economic_Sciences
The Nobel Prize in Economics is partially what validates the public perception of Economics as ‘science.’ As mentioned above, it is not part of the Nobel endowment, but was established in 1968 with money from the Swedish Central Bank.
Something appears to me to be going on. It does not seem to follow exponential growth patterns, and I am not convinced that the culprit fingered — genetic material bound with protein said to be imaged by electron micrograph, aka ‘the virus’ –is any more to blame than Jews allegedly poisoning wells in the middle ages.(see Girard, Rene The Scapegoat chapter one and his discussion on Machaut.) We have progressed from blaming the other among us to impugning biology and community itself. Welcome to biopolitics.
It is said that “Truth is the Daughter of Time”.
Bit by bit this truth is seeing the light of a bright sunny day.

Pamela, with respect I put forward that we don’t know much yet. For proof of that statement, truly, if you give me 10 links to say ‘its a hoax’, I can give you 10 links to say it is not. Case in point this morning, PCR commenting on a Unz article ..
PCR’s commenting : https://www.paulcraigroberts.org/2020/06/24/covid-is-making-a-comeback/
on
https://www.unz.com/proberts/covid-is-making-a-comeback/
I truly put forward that this thing has legs and we ‘aint seen the end yet and we have to be patient with one another.
Indeed, but we should look at all angles, all suggestions, n’est pas?
It’s part of reaching an ultimate truth I would propose – stick to either looking at nothing or a single preferred one and we end up the wrong tree 9 times out of 10 I’d say.
‘
I think we can accept the reality of ‘pestilence’ without accepting uncritically the baggage of received opinion that surrounds it. For example I am %100 percent certain that AIDS is not caused by a retrovirus. I am no genius, I have no qualifying credentials –not a guild member either qualified to suck from the treasury. Nope, there is plenty of information out there for people like me, if they care to, to draw their own conclusions. If institutions have “lied” in the past one, is not obliged to believe them in the present. I hope I do not come across as strident or Johnny One-note.

Indeed we do have to be “patient with one another”.
This is quite a challenge though when it comes to ‘leaders’ like Trump, Bojo and Bolsonaro who have notable similarities when it comes to their approach to Covid-19.
#1 All three have trivialized the potential danger of this virus
#2 Their countries have done an appalling job of managing the outbreak and their death rates are a national disgrace
Time will reveal that their reckless and cavalier attitude and general lack of respect for this virus will have caused the avoidable deaths of tens of thousands of their citizens.
Absolutely, we are all still on a very steep earning curve. However, we have also had ample time to realize that respect is a fundamental prerequisite for developing an effective strategy of containment. Lack of respect, especially amongst leaders or people that put themselves up as experts [think Knutty Witkowski with his dominitrix choker], will only add tragically to this carnage.

Another factor contributing to the current crisis is ecological collapse. I’m referring to Michael Moore’s “Planet of the Humans” documentary.
It was temporarily banned by YouTube and received enormous criticism by the left. The film claims, and rightfully so, that the renewable energy sources are basically a hoax.
For they require more fossil fuel to generate/activate them simply on running on the fossil fuels themselves. Also the mining required form different types of minerals such as lithium that are in limited supply. This means that the renewable industries are selling false hope. It is exposed as nothing more than another for-profit business enterprise and reveals the hypocritical self-righteousness of those people,
like Al Gore, associated with them. It as been well established that Capitalism is the culprit and obliviously the system is not going away any time soon. So then the only other option in limiting human activity is….limiting humans. This aligns perfectly with the globalist agenda and was one of the concerns they addressed at the WEF. This is all out in the open. How real is climate change form CO2 and methane gases is debatable but for practical purposes is a moot point….as long as it is perceived a threat is all that
https://www.rt.com/shows/on-contact/492410-michael-moore-criticism-censorship/
“Capitalism is the Culprit” kind of misses the point, Allen.
I would say instead “Psychopathy is the Culprit”…simply because going back into the Left vs Right nominalist mind traps of Ideology……….created by the Psychopathic Blood-Line Families In The First Place….. is a mind-destroying Dead End.
For one, these families are not “capitalist”. They are technocratic feudalists equally adept at trapping the serfs in Right versus Left ideological traps….and dreaming of replacing them with 100% obedient robots and AI
Also, the primary accumulator of Investable Capital …through hard work and savings…….has been CHINA…in the last few decades.
I’m not wild about their system ,,,,,,but I have ZERO doubt that a majority of Chinese are overall supportive of the CCP’s record in raising hundreds of millions of people out of poverty in record time…and understandably so!
Primarily through CAPITAL investment in great Infrastructure such as the Three Gorges Dam project…which dwarfs the 1930’s Tennessee Valley Authority ….which first brought electricity to millions of American farms that had lacked power…except for windmills for pumping water and diesel for tractors…that far into the 20th century
Meanwhile through the parasitical rentier-financier model behind the City of London and Wall Street, actual human and infrastructure CAPITAL in much of the west has been parasitized, wasted…STOLEN…taken from the shrinking middle class….. and accumulated through fakery and scams…………..not because they are capitalists…but because they are feudalists that long for a vastly underpopulated planet.comapred to today’s.……..and they know full well that capital competently invested….. in the Real (Physical) Economy, whether in Communist China or Non-Communist USA or Russia …in Agriculture…Industry….Transport …etc is the requirement to sustain such nations and their populations at higher levels of productivity of labor (through CAPITAL: INVESTMENT in scientific and technological progress, mind you!) culture, leisure time, education, health, etc.
The LAST thing those feudalists want. SO…..In that sense, they are Anti-Capitalist…and only touch capital to divert it from such physical investment into their own bloated accounts……and into entirely Non-Productive means of mind controlling the masses into culling themselves…. and making them too stupidly and ideologically mind-controlled…….. to comprehend what is being done to them.
But many people are getting wise to all of the above.
Cheers!
I have no desire to argue that point, bro (no pun intended 😊). I know it very well it has been proven to be incorrect pretty decisively. Im afraid that your argument myopic, reductionist,
and compartmentalized one. Peter Joseph ( Zeitgeist dame) did a good job explaining how that’s the case .However, I’m not saying their are no positive benefits from it. I totally agree what you said about China. Yet, keep in mind that I was referring its impact on our ecology. I was talking strictly in that context. And if look at the pollution in China you can see the correlation. But that’s not here nor there, that topic is only secondary, for we both agree on the main point- that the same people (institutions more accurately) we have in mind that are attempting to accomplish their agenda.
Cheers!
Bro,
Perfect response to the “Capitalist” moniker used by many to describe the cause of our “dilemma.” A decade or two ago while looking for a simple phrase to describe our situation I came across “High tech Feudalism”. Your description of such is perfect as also who is responsible. A war buddy and Econ Prof and I dive into “What is capital” over beer on occasion and what you just presented is spot on. Fiat “capital” makes my real capital worth less.
Many more need to wise up. Hunger spurs wisdom.
hound
Capitalism? Well, first, it is a debt based system. It is a system that invariably runs boom bust cycles. It is a system that is brutal to the ordinary person. Capital itself needs to be defined, because our old sweet thoughts about capital being a good thing and doing so much good, may just be wrong. It truly depends on how that capital appeared.
I would suggest go and listen to and read *all* of Michael Hudson. Then, Dr Richard D Wolf. That would be a start. And then, where there is a clear understanding of Capital, reinvestigate what actually China is doing.
Today’s capitalism is not your mommy’s capitalism :-) There is nothing sweet and nurturing about it. Capitalism is a psychopath.
Here is a little boom bust rap for you. https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=3&v=d0nERTFo-Sk&feature=emb_logo
Amarynth,
What you call “Capitalism” is actually Fractional reserve Banking. The psychopaths cut the governments and cronies in on the action. Capitalism, creating REAL capital from profitable production is not evil. If I create a product or service and sell it for more than what it took to create it, I have created “capital”. I can save, spend, or loan my capital out at market rates. If I put it into a bank that has a 10% reserve requirement, they can create 90% from thin air and lend $100 out at interest that the “market” determines. Jesus called them the “moneychangers” and they had the power over the Romans to have him killed. Capital is not evil. The “Goldsmiths” started fractional Reserve by creating more “gold certificates” than what their vaults held. When the peasants figured out what they were doing they killed some Smiths. These “extra” certificates made the peasants real certificates “worth less”. The surviving Smiths cut the “King” in on the scam to save their skins and made it law to accept the bogus “certificates”. Viola! Fractional Reserve. Stop creating “money” unbacked by real capital and mankind will advance at sustainable levels in all accounts. It must be a managed transition and not without pain.
Steve, no, not specifically fractional reserve banking. I’m talking capitalism – what we all would think of as making the economy grow and go. Nothing wrong with adding some profit percentage to product for sale. Let me just ask a few questions, as this is been made very complex and to my mind, to big to discuss here. So, just some questions ….
What is your cost of capital at the outset?
How was your capital created? Is it real, or is it created via frac. reserve.
What happens to the value of both your capital and your profit percentage that you put in the bank? This is a huge question over time.
How fair are the wages that you paid vis a vis your profit percentage and the employee share in your profit percentage? (This question is answered many times over by Wolf).
Now you take the value of your whole say ‘healthy’ business and you do an IPO or list on a market. So, now you are in money trading, and not any more the innocent fellow that makes his widgets and gather some what you think, is clean capital, i.e., new money. But is it clean money? Does such a thing as clean money even exist?
Who controls your money? Are you a sovereign over that, or not? Today, we are not.
How is your profit percentage sliced and diced – today we have that little percentage after taxation. So, who do you pay taxation to and for what purpose, even just running your business. What are you supporting in reality?
How many regulations of control, and how many middle-men suck off something in the process. What does that ‘suck-off’ pay for?
So, just a sampling of questions that I’ve considered about the complete system of capitalism.
A funny story. Years ago, in the US we were talking taxation with the accountant. (Our books looked good and this was just everyday stuff for business). The accountant said a funny thing – he said – you are not spending enough. You need to spend more. So, in order to keep our books looking good, we had to go out spending, literally buying stuff that we did not need. We actually went and bought a company house for company retreats on an expensive beach, because we could not think what we should buy – and set this house open for staff for holidays or vacations. A very socialist type thing we did to at least try and maintain the value for those who worked for it. And bang, we were in the boom bust cycle where it was not tax responsible to actually save something for rainy days, to bring the business through hard times. Doing our fair and good business, and when we made what we thought was clean money, we had to spend that .. Lots of reasons for that expenditure at the time and at other times. I have many such stories. Capitalism is a mammoth system, and it has mammoth sub-systems designed to keep the capitalist system flowing. Buy stocks, bonds, any other investments, because once you have made some cash, you cannot keep it .. many reasons for that again, but one main one is that it loses value. Capitalism is monster with many heads.
OK, enough from me on this topic. It gets huge.
Amarynth,
I understand all the things you present but was trying to keep the concept of “Capital” to it’s simple form of profit and money. There is “natural resource ” capital, Human capital, etc etc, I understand that. In the “Western” form it is a highly controlled system that channels “wealth” upward and “debt” downward. A proper “Capital” system is not evil or psychopathic. Maybe it could be called “sophisticated barter”. Even Gold has become a ‘Fractional Reserve system of sorts with the “re-hypothication” crap. Keep it simple. The details will take care of themselves.
This evil monster of Central Banking cannot and should not be destroyed overnight. It must be gradually disassembled as a real non fractional system is built. The only reason the Fed Res Note still has value is that all the players are sitting on mountains of it and it is still being massively inflated. Trump is right to spend it on infastructure etc while it still has value. China is doing the same. If everyone suddenly dumped the dollar, millions would die. The transition that everyone knows is coming will be tough work as those who have the most to lose will fight tooth and nail to stop it. Everyone will get hurt in the “reset”. Those who can create REAL capital will be the least hurt.
Several years ago Ron Paul said that if we do everything right from now on it will take 75 years to properly reset the planet’s economic system. He may be right.
Yes Steve, I don’t think we have much to quarrel about, but we could have real good debate. It looks to me as if capitalism always needs to have a portion of it that is exploitative in order to maintain – in the small simple explanation it sounds good. But in the big scheme of things, I always find exploitation of other resources. I cannot see that it is systemically sustainable .. in all its aspects. I am of the opinion that we pick the system for the job that it must do and we can use them together because I am just not that ideologically pure. And then, I am of the opinion that if it is not good for people, it is simply not good. There are different types of inputs for sure.
Wow 75 years? It brings things into perspective for sure.
Amaranth,
You’re 100% right. I know the all the arguments and come to the conclusion it’s a complete waste of time debating those that claim otherwise.
I can d Fed guarantee you that you will never do convince them so don’t waste your breath. But,
again, that’s not the main point of this post. The point is that since the system (or whatever you want to fill in the blank) isn’t going to change, ecological collapse is a sure bet. Therefore if you cannot limit human activity then you have to limit….humans.
I would put it a different way Allen. Just because I don’t think we’ve consumed to the extent that we’ve clapped out the planet. There is much worth still in our planet, and we’re going to space as well. We’ll become a space faring humanity. So, how I would put it for now, is intelligent planetary consumption and intelligent use of planetary resources. Again, this is huge. For that, one has to be a little ‘Putinized’, i.e., sit together with some others with smarts (I’m not truly including his current invitees in that :-), and make a plan.
I was reading this thing from China .. Harvesting veggies with sand to earth tech that they worked on, and it is working – growing vegetables on beaches, and this is not usually possible. So, I was reading this and it sounded really cool. But, if one thinks, and you think what the beach sand is there for, you come to the conclusion that this is very stupid, and they should use other tech – example perhaps aquaculture or something else. https://www.globaltimes.cn/content/1188873.shtml
This is what I mean .. intelligent use of planetary resources. But, I know, I don’t have a hope in hell, because at the moment, people wanna fight. Intelligent use of resources can of course be for example in building structures, old tech, new tech, new materials, blending of those and so on.
We’re messing about with this thing .. my husband is always into farming robotics and precision agriculture. This one is called the Farmbot, and it is available and easy tech for anyone. https://saker.community/2018/05/21/high-tech-open-source-and-now-everyone-can-garden-without-bigagro/
And just as example, if we actually can turn the swords into ploughshares, this I saw and it is a lot of fun.
https://saker.community/2018/12/19/peaceful-use-of-drones/
There is a huge mindshare of available and to be designed, intelligent planetary consumption and intelligent use of planetary resources if we stop fighting and stop for example selling off our water resources to the Big Capitalists who sell it back to us in bottles made into fizz and chemicals added. That is a result of capitalism that needs to sell needless product, for their system to survive.
Limit yourself, then Allen. Take the Suicide Pill!
Man up now! Don’t be a wuss about it!
Show us how its done!
I have created 2 new human beings, teenagers now. Since I did that in my fifties you could say I have not done my duty to even do my part to maintain the population……………which you would like to reduce further…at the cost of someone else’s life other than your own, naturally.
Talk about “Do unto Others”!
What you Ecological Disaster Fear Mongers (like the departed Mulga Scatterbrained…who was quite good on many Empire Matters but blind to their Climate Scam…..falling under their spell…and regretfully scurrying off (perhaps never to return here,,,,unfortunately!) fail to realize (like Mulga did on the weather, thus becoming a parrot for the Empire on that score) is the many complicating and mitigating factors regarding society, the progress of science, demographics, ecology etc.
This failure of consistency against the Empire Model which he and you suffer from will lead you down a dark path you may realize (if you are an agent or a troll…which I doubt….) or NOT realize, IF, as I suspect, your are not an agent nor a troll but merely a dupe of Empire…conquered mentally by the poison of pessimism they purvey.
In that case what you and amarynth (whose good on the Climate Scam…unlike Mulga……but nearly as unrigorous and inconsistent as Mulga on other Empire Emotional Traps…..) need to grasp if by “Capitalism” you mean industry, technology. scientific advancement and more people with more opportunity to raise more human beings (or at least an equal number!) with even better opportunities to realize their creative capacities—-what oligarchy has always detested since the Greek dramatist Aeschylus depicted the Gods of Olympus chaining Prometheus to a cliff for crows to peck his eyes out……for the audacity of giving fire ……and language , and number…and music…. to Man…is THIS:
This anti-human bais of yours is at the root of ALL of this Empire of Evil shit.
And if you can’t see how advances in technology can ALSO clean up the environment…and that the worst pollution is mental pollution….grievous ERROR…… then I predict you and amarynth and many others will neither suicide yourselves nor do great evil………..nor very much good compared to what you might do.……. except consoling yourselves that you are good….while REAL agents of Empire practice the ruthlessness and evil (including pedophilia, human compromise, therein including child sacrifice and cannibalism and human sacrifice ritually by the thousands and effectively BY THE BILLIONS…..to their Environmentalist God Moloch……as 0.000! percenters among the “Elite” of a Human Spiritual Garbage Can…. will be left to do the job y’all blindly and ignorantly approve of…in some degree or the other.by incomprehension and inconsistency…..without even realizing it……but are not even close to the ruthless or evil depravity required to carry that “Culling of the Herd” out ……alongside them..
Have a Nice Day!
Bro93, you sound plumb incoherent, and continue on your path to insult others and tell them how stupid they are and what they want and what they are talking about. You don’t know those things. We’re actually talking various inputs or calling out the variables. We’re having a discussion, and you’re having a hissy fit.
Let me not start telling you what you are good at like you do to others. You are completely over the top with assuming stuff .. we call those know’it’alls, and you’re not good at it. There is no need to attempt to close this conversation down even though it scares you.
amarynth
Spot on!
The insults are as constant as they are tiresome…most of the time I just scroll…you labelled it ‘know’it’alls’…I have a much stronger word in mind but it wouldn’t pass the mods.

I know Allen Udall does not need any advocate here as he is eloquent and smart enough to hold his frontiers of the thoughtfulness without any comment of mine.
This iI am not his advocate, but you have not at all understood what he was trying to say, Bro/ther?
Allen was not propagating the idea that we have to be culled, he was explaining what is implicitly and explicitly said to all of us in the WEF, I do not have to explain, just read their executive summaries, and plans and all what is transpiring in Davos 2019, 2020, the meeting of all decrepit rich people of the world who have plundered, raped and hurt this planet so much.
As a ‘real life’ socialist who has lived it for 28 years in country named Yugoslavia I am telling you that your beloved capitalism will kill you and all yours. As it is killing us here after we were Balkanized and destroyed physically, in our souls, in our dignities and our humanity.
As you yourself and all your beloved will go under soon with all of us the system will be revived as a terrible vampire in the crueler replica of itself …We will become expandable, many of us…
That is what Allan Udall was trying to say to us all here.
You do not understand anything if you are talking about free market, there was never a free market, just a cruel pilfering of the weaker.
There is nothing sexy about capitalism, it is just a glorified system of greed, supporting all the base instincts in human kind. Destroying everything, all the resources from the planet to the human kind.
Yes, dear Bro/ther- you are also just a resource to be exploited till there is only bones left from you.
Before, I used to think your vocabulary was above me, as I did not have patience to read all this stream of consciousness. I have finally gathered patience to read 10 of your posts, and no, you are not so complicated to understand.
BTW, I absolutely agree with your right for glorifying the capitalism – it is your right, but how can you not see what it is doing to all of us?
For you:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cpbbuaIA3Ds
“Therefore if you cannot limit human activity then you have to limit….humans”.!!!!!!!!!!!
Dear Allen maybe this eight minutes piece of standup comedy by George Carlin will re-educate you on why no human activity can really damage “nature”……. peace and love…
https://youtu.be/7W33HRc1A6c
If you’re an abused young person, damaged beyond comprehension, but have escaped death, so far, (a large number are killed, ‘disappeared,’) or if global child trafficking, child prostitution, child sacrifice victim mean anything, then civilized, conversational style talk about capitalism may not quite fit the bill. . .
We need a breakthrough, a finance of hope vision, a flaming supercharged bolt of inspired lightening economy input, a divine call-up of sustainable methodology breaking and laming the system that supports this ongoing perpetration of evil, a totally human centered global financial reset of money.
There are horrors in this world. Many more than those that you`ve listed. Large swathes of our human societies are in travail and in trauma. The human being may be in trauma as a species. We live in pockets of luxury, next to swathes of dying humanity like in Yemen, like in Somalia – I don’t need to make the list yet again. I don’t know if there are any of us that have not cried out in despair, that have not felt our beings being broken apart in travail as to our human condition.
Nevertheless, we have to keep thinking – because I don’t think there is a fairy flying around that is going to come and take us out of the despair that you list. God is not intervening in a large manner, so far. I think it may just be up to us. We can hope. In the meantime, we have to remain with faculties intact. And that includes talking to one another. Figuring out where we have gone wrong, and righting our own individual wrongs. There is no more than that, that is possible. Fitts calls it the choice of being slave or human. We each have been allotted our work, our part. But we know what we must do and what we can do, is too little. Yet, we have to move on in strength because we are allotted that as well.
amarynth
Absolutely…and we do have a great strength. It is in our collective numbers and the monumental extent of our discontent.
I keep harping on about how Ross Ashcroft summarised it in one small paragraph…so once again…
“To really understand something is to be liberated from it. Humanity’s greatest ally is the self-educated individual, who has read, understood, delays their gratification, and walks around with their eyes wide open.”
…unquote…
And the self-educated individual mass grows astronomically by the day…this is what the 3N’s didn’t count on. Never before did the masses have the affordable ability to to be informed…this is the game-changer. The plutocracy is losing. It will be like Hemingway’s description of going broke…
“Two ways…“Gradually, then suddenly.”
And this will be the extraordinarily ironic legacy that the likes of the idiotic Trump and Pompeo bestow on humanity…the fact that they are so outrageously incompetent and dangerous…surely even the most dimwitted amongst us could hardly miss this gigantic farse that has been foisted on us.
Take heart Amarynth et al…we are winning!
Col
That is quite a sermon in response to my comment !
Suffice it to write now, in respect of pedophilia, you have made excuses to hide the fact that you are not prepared to recognize the level and extent of this evil, nor take on board the fact that other’s do so, and could probably benefit from some respect for this, rather than a lecture ?
What is more, they are self righteous, and fake excuses, cloaked in the “we” of humanity, in the context of the immense suffering of the world, which we know full well exist in poverty, diseases etc, backed up by preaching the need to improve ourselves, to think, and even drawing Catherine Austin Fitts’ name in seeking to authenticate your excuses ! Why not write from your experience and perception ?
I do not wish to fight against you personally, but against falsehood, and your comment insults the courage, intelligence and perception of anyone, not just me, who is actively engaged in the battle of highlighting the depravity, torture and cruelty of children, that exists, as we know, at the highest levels of the global capitalist pyramid.
I do not take back a single word of my post you have replied to.
Anonymity,
Couldn’t agree more. Albeit my commentary took a nice detour. I guess that’s how these posts go and sway from the theme. Btw, your point is well articulated in the book by Peter Joseph called “The New Human Rights”.

Cheers
@Allen,
Thank you for responding in such a positive form, I have researched the book in the meantime, and do take any helpful suggestion on here seriously, how else shall we progress ? I shall read.
@amarynth
Thank you for your response.
I am not interested in shaming, only in truth.
Keep it objective, let people speak freely about things in the way they want to.
We are discussing capitalism and global pedophilia, why am I asked to defend my interest and engagement ?
My interest in life and people goes far beyond intellectual, abstract grasp of human situation’s. It always has done, and my training and professional career have also demanded it.
I have no reason, or wish to share my life work and experience on here, no one has ever asked me to do this before, I find it laughable.
The fact that it is necessary to explain all of the above, reflects somewhat negatively on the person to whom it is addressed, simply.
There is nothing further for me to add, at this point.
The anonymous comment above, was in response to amarynth, June 22, 2020, 6:32 pm EST/EDT
Shaming culture has hit us. The anon wants to shame me for not joining the chorus that impotently shouts against pedophilia in high places. Btw. CAF spoke about these things in the interview that I posted in this cafe, so, go listen to that.
I commend those that are actually trying to make a difference and I know only two of such people that are doing real work outside of making it a political win or lose. The politicking is qlearly not subtle enough to escape notice.
If it is your job, I would be interested in seeing your accomplishments. I am sure you have some. What are you all doing against the slavery and trafficking market where a small country was thrown against the wall? Are you actually taking children out of cages, where they have to remain to wait for the pedophiles or is the interest only in some children?
I would encourage everyone to go and find a series, and read everything you can about a so-called Christian group in high places, called The Family. They are very hidden. Then understand how deeply that is inculcated in high places, where the philosophy is that if we are Christian, ‘Jesus is with us by default’, and everything is allowed. This is the so-called Christian initiative in high places, culminating in the US in the National Prayer Breakfast, opposite but complementary with zionism. And you will find where Pence and Pompeo and many similar creatures dwell and why they think they can do just what they please. Structurally consult the latest Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM–5), and figure out how heinous crimes against children are systematically being normalized and the system is created to make this a valid capitalist market.
Thanks to Robs recommendation in some previous cafe here in the Saker island of the raptors I have also watched the whole movie finally, only last night.
It is really only another carefully orchestrated global heist – this green movement is a wicked lie, and their unsustainable solutions. In the name of the greedy capitalism. They were totally subdued and taken over from a big capital, the same means of destroying everything.
Just a bait for us terrified and trained sheep to give us the false hope, while they make even more money, as the ‘green industry’ obviously uses too much of the traditional fuel industries to produce only short term solutions, and enormous gains for themselves at the expense of the planet society.
It will be better to just stick to the traditional fuel at the moment, without the false intermediation and terrible cost to planet and inhabitants.
That the terribly expensive wind turbines last max 20 years shocked me…
All these other projects, like in Mohave desert, it is a shocking manipulation…They are lying and lying so much. In order to pilfer the Earth and humans for the 1%. Just, bastards now they have come with another lie
The movie is excellent, and that last scene is about all of us…
Amarynth, all the others who have not seen it, please watch it, it is worth it.
After they have killed the entire rich and leafy forest where the orangutans, butterflies, birds and many other animals were thriving…
There was only this amputated scorched tree stump with no branches in the midst of terrible desolation and nothingness where a hapless Orangutan was hanging like an orphan. No where to go, nothing to eat.
I also cried when I saw the dead ones pulled out of the polluted mess of the river, their eyes turning inwards in death.
I could never stand the death of an animal as they all die silently, I held many in my arms because of the cruelty of humans.
Actually, I think it is time to address the planet issues and manipulation, not only the local environment abuse as it is just a small part of their agenda, but all of it.
All of the abuse…
And I have forgotten to mention how carefully I was following Ukraine ( thank you Saker), where they took over immense and ancient forests and cut them to the bone, like everywhere else…
Also the famous fertile lands of Ukraine, same forces have taken over…From this movie.
Plunder plunder…
Dearest Saker, please investigate this if you can…
Thank you for everything, and to save us all from imminent sadness, here is something for all, and for our friend Ioan ( how are you?, I have not forgotten you )

About love I also found recently:
Someone who works hard in the North Africa, does not expect any money or incentives, another beautiful man:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kd-D27SuRHs
I have lived in North Africa, I know how hard it can be, and beautiful at the same time.
He, this man, does not need your help.
I just wanted you to see other worlds besides this one in the North.I lived something similar, not restrained in my mind, opened for the others.
Besides USA and the silly degenerate ‘west’ there is so much going on…
Banal example, I rarely watch the TV, but few days ago I watched UK news, no way,,, Corona, Corona, Corona…
While they are falling in their social experiment, the sheep are not even asking themselves why is it happening.
My friends there in this little island going to hell think it is all about UK or them, oh how silly they are, ego has prevented us from many a normal conversation…
azra
azra,
Dmitry Orlov has explained in his blog how the so- called renewable energy sources are counterproductive since they require more fossil fuel to generate them than it would be by simply running on coal, natural gas, and oil. For the are both a hoax and a scam. The film also then expands on how our ecosystem has been degraded by human activity such as burning fossil fuel. I wanted to emphasize the point that because these renewable sources are not a solution and the fact that capitalism isn’t going to be addressed in the sense of limiting human activity, particularly globalization. This concern has been addressed in WEF (just fo to their website, for its all there). What I was trying to convey in my post was that, again this is from the globalist’s (not mine) perspective (this is critical because they are the ones calling the shots) is that if human activity affecting the environment cannot be mitigated than……read between the lines. Btw, good interview with the director, Jeff Gibbs that I included the Link on RT by Chris Hedges. Unfortunately some people here focused on the wrong subject (is Capitalism the culprit?) which is really irrelevant in this context. While another reply completely missed the mark and engaged in an incoherent ad hominem. Hope that adds some clarity.
Cheers
Allen, asra, yes, I got the initial premise and the binary nature of the ‘pretend’ problem put in front of us.
A very good site to visit is The Wrong Kind of Green. http://www.wrongkindofgreen.org/
If one has a little time and the headspace they make the connections between capitalism and the NGO type financing (quite brutal) and planetary care. But it takes time.
Two things .. let’s be conscious of the climate kind of stuff. The Saker wants us to refrain from discussing that.
Secondly last year we had an infestation of The Wrong Kind of Green activists. It so happened that I stood in strong opposition, not even because I wanted to, but because I saw what was happening financially and economically with the ‘Green Deals’. So, people thought that I am anti-something but generally it was the wrong something. I want to correct that.
I am for intelligent human planetary action, not the type driven by capitalism and NGO’s – not the black and white type thinking but whole systems thinking.
Just to further explain, people may be reading what they want to see. I am concerned about what we are doing on our planet and for remedial action, driven intelligently specifically around farming, food and poisoning of growing lands. That explanation should be fine for now.
Just some history for you.
Dear azra, just so you know, the link to the man in North Africa, shows another video, totally cute, but please will you find the right one ? It sounds interesting, as your posts, so encouraging, real and from the heart, thank you.
Sorry, no it is the right link, but marred by the idiotic adds in the beginning, currently from my country. Just skip, or actually not, as his only income is from ads playing, so he is not an organization or association and he definitely is not asking for a donation.
‘The kitten is the life’ is the name of a channel on YT. He, as I, is not a native English speaker, but I get him, meaning: ‘The life of a kitten is precious as all the life is’.
A young man from Morocco takes care of the street orphans, and does not demand any help, just to highlight the plight of the little creatures.
If you do not see this, I will try to send you a message in a newer cafe, think I am late here, sorry…
Marking the winter solstice, downunder…
Old Father Winter
Old Father Winter,
Bundle on his back;
Slowly shakes his head,
Taking up the slack.
Rime on his moustache,
Cankers on his toes –
Leaves a trail of dread,
Everywhere he goes.
Old Father Winter;
At last your work’s begun;
You’ve slept away the year,
Now here comes the fun.
Your hunger, now awakened,
Stalks the weary earth –
Consuming all before you,
For everything you’re worth!
Old Father Winter,
With tricks beyond compare;
What once was full of hope,
Is now beyond repair.
Until the turning of the sun,
You stand so straight and tall;
Then all at once, the charm is gone,
You bow the knee and fall!
Old Father Winter;
There is a price to pay.
Rushing headlong in your pride –
Your cloak has turned to grey.
Your raiment, once resplendent white
Has one more task in stead;
To wake the sleeping earth
And slake the thirsty dead!
Old Father Winter;
That one of countless years –
Turns his back and walks away,
Then slowly disappears…
The earth it stirs, the birds they sing,
The trees they yawn, and stretch their limbs;
The child is born and wonders, then –
How love was lost and found again?
Going to throw in a “hope” here – that Saker’s great team will be able to find time to translate the entire of the interview with Putin in the Kremlin; a show Rossiya TV is doing, which screened in Moscow a few hours ago, in their evening. Now that they no long do English subs of their shows, hard to know how else we can watch it – and it will be good viewing I think.
everlasting love;
loving that which is of God
within all of life
“within all life” — yes, that’s lovely Dimitar.
it reminds me of the Delphic Oracle of God “I am in all things, and all things are in me”
it’ lovely theme to meditate on I find.
do unto others
as you would have them
do unto you
say unto others
as you would have them
say unto you
be to others
as you would have them
be unto you
see in others
that which you would
have them see in you
Odd that I should come and read this one Dimitary. I was thinking of it as I washing the evenings’ dishes :-)
In fact, I think it’s a little wrong.
There is a little Indian fable, which is of a monkey, who made friends with a fish, and used to sit by the river bank talking to it One day a huge flood came down, and the monkey was caught, and nearly drowned, when he caught a tree limb and pulled himself to safety. Horrified that his friend the fish would suffer the same fate, he grabbed him and pulled him out of the water. As the poor fish flapped desperately around, a lady goddess appeared and returned him to the river.
Turning to the monkey she said “you must remember that what is good for you may not be so for others. To do good for them, find out what they most need, not what you do”.
I’ve long said “do unto others as they would want you to”.
But the concept of trying to be thoughtful and kind to others is right and good, of course :-)
Dear Pamela, I have a poet’s licence, lol. Seriously, though, doing, saying, being, etc. unto others simply reflects how we would like and expect to be treated by them. But it’s an important point you’ve made, we need to learn what others’ needs are in order to treat them as we should.
The story of thee fish, the monkey and the Goddess,(the lady kind), is very good and educative. The monkey acts out of a position of ignorance, has it learned something un-useful, and is imitating, or confusing the right action at the wrong time, or is that just typical monkey fashion behavior ? I don’t know them really at all. Were humans ever monkeys ? The fable has an artistic licence all of its own, and is charming.
Dear Goddess, may we all just become more divining, amen.
:-)
Ah yes. I forgot the poets licence. It does go a long way, I agree. In fact, where would we would we sometime poets be without it? It’s a sort of deus et machina n’est pas?
As you say, the principles are what counts.
Never forgot though, in – I’m sure it was Michael Caines’ Biography” – he explained how, as soon as he’d landed a couple of big film roles and was financially comfortable, he bought a lovely house for his hard working mother with an attached income so she never had to work again. He then discovered she was very miserable – he realised he had split her off from all her friends who were her workmates, taken out of “the measure of her days”, deprived of that which had given her life meaning — because he thought he was doing the best for her. Trouble is, it was his view of what was best, he’d never thought to go ask her.
He put things right, but it took a bit of doing. It gave me food for thought too. All the times we act on what my daughter calls “Social worker syndrome” — forcing our view of what people want onto them not realising it’s what we would want and want for them.
It never occurs to a social worker that maybe some people like hanging out with their friends under bridges and collecting cans from the garbage !! :-)
sure, not to mention rifling through a skip or having a fag chatting to the locals while waiting for the bus…
Who wants to be anybody in this situation …
The minute-long clip posted on social media shows a uniformed police officer surrounded by what appears to be a group of loud protesters. They repeatedly raise their middle fingers close to the officer’s face shield, and blow cigarette smoke in his face. A laser pointer is also being aimed at the man’s head. Despite the aggressive gestures, the officer remains calm and silent.

So, beware my friend ;-)
In these times people are around with such long and sensitive toes, that I would like to advise them to train hard in the noble sport of swimming. I foresee medal chances at the next Olympics.
Cheers, Rob
I laughed when I saw that Rob. Maybe sean can tell us culturally what is wrong with leprechaun? I mean, if he called him a troll, I would image that could be inflammatory or offensive, but a leprechaun is just a funny trickster from myth. How about pondscum, which is my current amusement in being offensive?
Yesterday, watching the trollery around, I had a thought. Perhaps a competition would be effective. So, how about calling a Name the Troll Competition and offer an icecream to the first one that names the troll? I was just looking for some fun on a rainy Sunday. But then, I thought – oh heavens no! What if the troll names itself and I have to buy an icecream for a troll. That would be bitter unintended consequences. People are so intent on damaging others and name calling and stuff like that, that one has to be deathly careful of any humor and fun. Seemingly everyone wants to be offended.
From the Irish-Oxford dictiionary. Leprechaun: disagreeable wee bastard.
Thanks for the laugh Ron………..will there be an Olympic catagory for floaters, the extra pounds some of us carry make swimming a long shot.
Cheers, M
Apologies, ‘Rob’, fat finger syndrome, the curse of all things leprechaun.
Greg Hunter and Catherine Austin Fitts.
OK, Hunter is Hunter and one has to ignore him a little bit. CAF is financially excellent. We have our differences .. she is not-crypto and from her perspective, I cannot fight with her about that. We have different ideas here. But the rest of what she says is pretty close to the mark. Recommended!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=1118&v=1Pb5-qkMdFM&feature=emb_logo
Catherine Austin Fitts is brilliant! One of the very few who is not afraid to discuss nano-toxicity, and who is willing to venture into intellectual/spiritual territories that would destroy most of other researches credibility in seconds, but not hers.
Thank you for this link.
Your enthusiasm is infectious and great to read. CAF has that rare gift of combining femininity with natural high intelligence, I guess that is not easily found, and has made her widely esteemed in life.

TJT
In last week’s June 14 Café TJT asked something I didn’t see til right now. I begged TJT’s pardon over there for my tardiness…and said I’d reply here.
His (or her?) comment included this question:
“Have any of the proponents of digital storage ever considered the possibility of failure due to an EMP
(electro magnetic pulse )event, either, intentional or accidental.I mention accidental because I have long followed the work of Eric P Dollard who has being saying for years that the US electrical grid is in such a state of chaos that this phenomenon, known in nuclear explosions,is entirely likely any time.
ericpdollard.com is where you will find his work and interviews.
A quick introduction on YouTube “Eric Dollard three secrets about the sun”
ANS: I would think so! I would think all such things are considered but I lack the specialist knowledge or links to go into any detail. The only thing I would add…is what I said before:
1) These scenarios mean you have bigger problems than not being able to log onto the Internet as it is now or as it may involve new tech in the future….IN Fact, I could no more explain to you how a “serverless network” might function..in a new internet …nor what that even really means…than I could instruct anyone how to build an Anti-Gravity Machine. All I know is that people who do know a great deal about other things I have some concept of………absolutely discuss it all at length…..with a straight face. AND…the impression I get is that they think it is MORE secure….more “bullet-proof”.
2) But you’ll need to go to them for the TECH details. Like the young Brit Sir Toshi, whose Medium articles I find VERY helpful…..it’s the other…the economic (as opposed to electronic or cryptographic) political …and Law considerations I that are more in my Zone of Comprehension..
Bro 93
Haven’t been here for a few days and just spotted your reply …I guess anything is possible in tech world. However Eric Dollard has for me had the best explanations of electrical power, in all its manifestations, that I have read.
He goes back to the great mathematicians such as Charles Proteus Steinmetz who figured out all the math for long distance high voltage AC transmission that is still used today even though Steinmetz largely written out of history.
Tesla invented polyphase alternating current and Steinmetz made it work as we know it today.
Steinmetz is mentioned in textbooks from the 1940’s and before but after that disappears.
And a lot of the stuff about Tesla is mostly bullshit, apparently put out by ex military intelligence Colonel Tom Bearden, wafflings and fake math if any, that appeal to free energy fantasists.
Anyhow the EMP bomb danger apparently comes from some of Steinmetz’s findings being ignored and practices such as running an earth wire all the way from the end back to the power station which is only a recent phenomenon which may have something to do with a smart grid.
I do know that an earth wire has been added to high voltage lines in Ireland but as far as I know this is actually used to string up a fibre optic line for which every landowner over whose land it passes gets €1000 per kilometre per year and is not used in the grid as an earth.
I would not ignore this warning from a modern genius such as Eric Dollard.
best for now to all here.

Let’s sort out the awful modern-day human slavery that still exists, rather than worrying about what happened centuries ago …
Nothing made that clearer than the soul-destroying footage of middle-class Lebanese families dumping their Ethiopian maids like bags of used clothes last weekend.
Their employers/owners bundle them out of a car, at their embassy, and drive off. These young women are helplessly left on the street with all their worldly possessions.
One of them said: “Madam did not find us in a dumpster, we are not garbage to be thrown out like that.”
There’s no recourse for these maids, either. They are not protected by the law, so the hours they work, the amount of holidays they get, the seizure of their passport, payment of their salary and their working conditions are at the whim of their employer/owner.

The statues of black Madonna might survive then in France. Eg St Marie sur Mer Camargue.

… and the white “Christ the Redeemer” statue in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil is 30 metres tall and weighs 635 tonnes.
It could be painted black or perhaps brown. It is an interesting work of art deco, which I appreciate as a work of art and human achievement. The construction started in 1921 and was completed in 1931 … a lot of dangerous work and great effort. I am not religious and could oppose the statue, but I do not. Live and let live and learn and move forward, always remembering history to guide the way forward.
very good comment and observations, but it is exactly the point, that the artist depicts any religious figure or subject, free of doctrines, institutions and dogma, but as a statement of cultural and spiritual identity, one that unites people.
The Patriot missiles couldn’t stop the Houthi attack on Saudi capital – there is video of it on Twitter:

Yemen’s Houthi militia launched multiple ballistic missiles and bomb-laden drone attacks on military sites in Saudi Arabia’s capital Riyadh on Tuesday morning:
“The attack targeted the headquarters of the Saudi Defense Ministry, the military intelligence agency and King Salman Air Base in Riyadh, as well as other military facilities in the Saudi regions of Jizan and Najran,” Houthi military spokesman Yahya Sarea said in the statement.
“The attack came in response to the unjust blockade and aggression on the Yemeni people,” Sarea said, vowing of launching more cross-border attacks on Saudi Arabia.

Khan’s Red Guard: London Mayor Vows to Replace Monuments with Statues of LGBTQ+

As monuments in British cities have been vandalised by Black Lives Matter and Antifa activists in the
wake of the death of U.S. citizen George Floyd, the London mayor said that the city he represents is
“one of the most diverse” in the world and therefore has tasked the Commission for Diversity in the

What will the new justice system look like whenever the Democrat’s party manage to win an election?
Now moderators at Facebook has admitted to censorship of anyone wearing a MAGA hat. In their opinion conservative republicans are terrorists if they dare to speak in any way shape or form. I have many times
voiced the opinion that this is the very nazi state in the making. The brown shirts were out in the streets, so were the other provocateurs, the antifa. To create the chaos that propelled Adolf Hitler into power. At the time communists were targeted by false flags and censorship. But that does not matter. People in general is obviously
the target in a growing corporate social fascist coup d’etat that may be just like when Adolf Hitler came to power.
He got the votes necessary to put him into power. The ability to falsify elections by use of electronic systems are now far advanced, and will probably be superceded by Voting Apps, hackable by the systems, and legalised by rewriting the laws. All laws will be changed to suit the new system, it was just the same Adolf Hitler did so that is a given.

Lots of Odd Fellows and Masonic Temples…..all over this George Floyd “Story”
Which could go sideways real fast…..on NBA Dupe Mason Stephen Jackson….now touting himself as Floyd’s “twin brother” (he means soul brother….not biological…..) but like lots of actors…the stories of him knowing ….or ever even meeting George……are not documented at all, despite both being sports stars…supposedly even into college for George …whereas Stephen Jackson is an NBA Champ (San Antonio Spurs 2003). Which is usually covered fairly well by newsprint and video….even in the nineties….but not ONE photo of their “soul brother” friendship….so far.
But the NBA getting into this coup….and sacrificing a whole season, possibly??
That’s not small potatoes, as a “sacrifice”.

Well, cheating in elections is gigantomaniac already. At times the electronic machines were manipulated through the machine producers, some machines result could be easily accessed through a graphical interface more or less like a limited “Windows” system, and now it is quite certain that there are still backdoors that someone has access to in every election, or the machines malfunction because there are always some proof of that happening. Then there is the falsification of votes that is organized like a well oiled machine. Many estimates had Donald Trump with 75% of the votes last time around. So while this time there are many plans ongoing I am sure, the mail-in being just one of them. It is a know system of voting (falsification) done by socialist parties because their
system was originally based on Komintern program which has a set of rules catering only to themselves, and the main principle is to get into power at any cost, at any means possible. That is their law. And those parties in Europe morphed into national socialism or as they are known as Social Democrat Parties from which there is a main influence to the Democrat’s party who run along with the Fabian Socialism Platform of International Socialism a variation of National Socialism of NSDAP (Adolf Hitler, leader). Democratic Socialism is just a name for it, just as Social Democracy is a lighter photocopy of Nazism, the NSDAP programme.

Thank you for all.
Thanks azra. I will take a look. I’m not sure of the financial aspects of the changes that are going to be voted on any day now in Russia – and there are some for sure. China is also interesting in that it has 2 central banks .. one which is a sovereign national bank, and the other which is part of the system of reserve banks. And of course things are changing as we speak with Russia holding the minimum of exposure to US assets, and China dropping their exposure month after month.
Thanks again. As soon as I’ve made my way through all of Michael Hudson, then your recommendation is listed. Oh heavens .. not enough time to read all that I want to read and the rest of this week is full of real work (grins).
Extremely interesting. Lot’s of new angles and info for me.
Thank you.

azra,
Thanks for the suggestion. Sounds interesting and educational. When I read the summary on Amazon about the book I couldn’t help but chuckle a bit. It reminded me all the times RT posted articles about how all these reputable economists predict that the dollar will be dethroned as world reserve currency any day now. If I had a dollar for every time they made that proclamation I would be a billionaire. But getting back to the book, I’m sure it’s a fascinating read. Probably in line with what Michael Hudson recommended as well as one of Putin’s former non-neoliberal advisors. I believe it was Sergei Glazyev. I know Saker writes a lot about being disappointed in Putin’s economic policies. I must admit though since this whole Covid situation, I completely lost my appetite for geopolitics. I’m. more concerned what’s going on in the US, particularly NYC where I live.
Btw, thanks for elaborating on my commentary. Appreciate the kind words. All the best

Vandals in Albania have destroyed a famous historical monument in ancient Apollonia causing “irreparable” damage. Founded in 588 BC by Greek colonists from Corfu and Corinth on a site where native Illyrian tribes once lived, the ancient nymphaeum (monumental fountain) of ancient Apollonia (Ἀπολλωνία) is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located near the town of Fier, a city and a municipality in southwest Albania.

( removing historical European identity … now who would want that ! )
Not to condone Albanian vandalism, but since Greeks occupied Aegean Macedonia in 1913, they have destroyed countless artefacts of Macedonian culture, all in a bid to wipe out the millenia old Macedonian presence in Aegean, or ‘Belomorska’ Makedonija, and then recast it as “Greek”. Greeks are an interesting sort, crying loudly when hard done by, but doing everything in their considerable power to wipe out an entire race of people, steal their name, identity, land and culture and think nothing of it. They have a powerful lobby in the US and have always been faves of the Democrats.

… white slaves … for 300 years coastal communities around the Mediterranean and the British Isles saw depopulation and impoverishment caused by the kidnapping of breadwinners.
European nations finally responded by attacking the pirates in their home bases. In 1675 a Royal Navy squadron negotiated a lasting peace with Tunis and, after bombarding the city to induce compliance, with Tripoli.
Algiers was frequently attacked by the British, French and Spanish and, in the early 19th century, the United States. After another British-led attack in 1816 more than 4,000 Christian slaves were released and the power of the Barbary pirates was finally destroyed by European sea power.

“Socialism never took root in America because the poor see themselves not as an exploited proletariat but as temporarily embarrassed millionaires.” – John Steinbeck
What does it take to be happy? The Nordic countries seem to have it all figured out. Finland and Denmark have consistently topped the United Nations’ most prestigious index, The World Happiness Report, in all six areas of life satisfaction: income, healthy life expectancy, social support, freedom, trust and generosity …
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Pm0Mn0-jYU
Funny, they never asked the people living there. But in socialism that is not necessary. Everyone assumes they are happy. Besides, those agencies doing such meaningless propaganda, are the globalist fascist trash.
Paul
I am afraid I have to disagree with Steinbeck here…maybe “Socialism” in the classic sense never took hold in America…reverse socialism certainly did though…and it did so to such a degree that it now strangles the entire empire. Indeed on its present course, it will end up crippling much of the global economy…love the rest of the quote though!
Any sensible capitalist system has to have at least a basic element of socialism simply for humanitarianism and basic decency. This is why Murica has the whole thing completely arse about face. If you are going to be truthful about what aspects of your economy encompass socialism, you have to include the entire military budget plus the whole domestic element that goes into this industry….this is an obscenely massive portion of total GDP. If you included this accurately in the total equation then Uncle Sam is by definition indeed hugely socialist.
Sadly in this disgracefully corrupt model of socialism, it is, in essence, an essential cog in an immense plutocratic network. Its mode is to impoverish Mainstreet whilst lining the pockets of its chosen few. Its playbook is to create perpetual mayhem, whilst continually contriving enemies and creating misery and death in large swaths of the globe. This is vitally necessary to perpetuate its very existence.
If you look at recent POTUS and hopefuls within this expanded definition almost the entire line-up consists of socialists with, in my view, the notable exception of the Pauls. Virtually every other recent runner that you could poke a stick at is a classic socialist or an obscene reverse socialist/swamp creature.
I have no great admiration for Sanders and it is painfully obvious that no matter how many times he picked himself up and came back for more he would always be thrown back under the bus. TPTB simply cannot countenance a Socialist that makes an honest attempt to work for Mainstreet. I do have to concede that there are no illusions when it comes to ‘The Bern’…he is a classic unabashed socialist…no ifs and absolutely no buts…he is what he is.
However, this stance is infinitely more preferable in my book to almost every other candidate, including the idiotically incompetent Trump because at the very least it is honest. Whores like the Bushes, the Clintons, and Obomber merely pose as Capitalists…in reality they work for the swamp, AKA the Deep State…they are no more genuine capitalists than my cat.
Perhaps it is time for a new word to label this disgraceful phenomenon…I would suggest calling it ‘swamp socialism’….simply because that’s exactly what it is.

How Long Will the Vandals Run Amok?
June 23, 2020 by Patrick J. Buchanan
We erect statues to remember, revere and honor those whom we memorialize. And what is the motivation
of the people who tear them down and desecrate them? In a word, it is hate… But hating history and
denying history and tearing down the statues of the men who made that history does not change history.
https://buchanan.org/blog/how-long-will-the-vandals-run-amok-138741
… Buchanan begins with, “The left’s war on America’s past crossed several new frontiers last week.”
Azorka, I absolutely detest this American use of “Left”, so I’m trying to calm down right now ;-)
( the word Vandals is appropriate … they sacked Rome )
Left AND Right are both the most obvious identity dividers that the Empire cooked up in 1789 in the Terror.based on accidental seating arrangements/ideologies of those in the French Assembly
I’d like to see the collective IQ grow out of that Empire Divide Matrix……because there is no question that Buchanan abhors many morons that self-indentify as belonging to The Right…..just as you would want to have nothing to do…whatsover…..with many rabidly Russophobic clowns in the USA…that say that they belong to the Left.
SO…rather than complain about the fact that people on A Left Political Social Identity that you’d prefer to sympathize with…but have turned into a disgusting joke…a phony posturing…you just might realize that that is what results from convenient ideological shortcuts:
Remaining in An Empire Designed Matric Trap….of the Mind.
I’d say the same thing to Pat Buchanan.
Do you think he likes being associated with the Azov Battalion??
I don’t.think he does.
Do you like Raz Simone or Alexandria Occasional Cortex??
But as long as he and people like him “keep it simple, stupid” within the left right mind control matrix…that’s what you both will have to suffer.

“Travis McMichael and his father Gregory McMichael, as well as William “Roddie” Bryan, were indicted by a grand jury Wednesday on nine counts, including malice murder, felony murder and criminal attempt to commit false imprisonment, Cobb County District Attorney Joyette Holmes announced.
”This is another step forward in seeking justice for Ahmaud. Our team from the Cobb Judicial Circuit has been committed to effectively bringing forward the evidence in this case, and today was no exception,” Holmes said in a statement shared on Facebook.
“We will continue to be intentional in the pursuit of justice for this family and the community at large as the prosecution of this case continues,” the statement continued.
The three men are currently being held in a Glynn County jail without bond.
The McMichaels were charged on May 7 with murder and aggravated assault, while Bryan was charged on May 21 with felony murder and criminal attempt to commit false imprisonment.”
Ever since the first time I heard about right and left in relation to politics and people (btw, politics is people), my mind glazed over, when left became right and vice versa, the glazing morphed to full spectrum incoherence at how this could be used to classify aspects of national, global behaviours and thinking of politics = peoples.
That first time I heard of the term it struck me strangely, as something the writer or speaker had learned at some point at high school, sociology classes at college etc, as a mental construct used to presume understanding of politics + people, and away from understanding the individual and life, in relation to others.
Years ago, on some forum online or other, I read that that the so called ‘right left divide’ had become obsolete and misleading in time, and was in fact not a true picture at any point. That was a relief.
if we could only weed out the overgrown entanglement of mental constructs from our perception, that are so deeply rooted and exist as false security and leverage from which to operate, I mean a mental operational field misleading ourselves and other’s, we would stand a chance to stand spiritually independent, and be who we are, and seen as we are !
Hello Dear friends at the Vineyard, I give heartfelt thanks for your Care and kind words
I received email from Dimitar who observed the synchronicity of his Café conversation with Pamela about Babuška, around the same time as Babuška had unknowingly posted a reply to Yuri, just a few hours after Pamela asked about my well-being.
I’m sorry.
I had seen Yuri’s post the night before, and replied next day without reading any further comments.
I have been absent due to having to fight the good fight on behalf of my neighbours- urgent matters relating to a Corporation.
As if my own family/parental matters are not enough, prior to scamdemic, the financial screws are tightening here, which of course is not being reported on by the crass media.
From Michael Leunig, Australian Living Treasure:
“When people demand justice they are both wanting something and offering something: they are offering the chance for collective truth and liberation from the sickness of denial.”
I am demanding justice.
Further, Leunig (2006) writes:
“Art, innocence, intelligence and nature are besmirched, while home and family are gradually becoming impossible or unaffordable. The western dream of wealth may well be eclipsed by the simple dream of survival.”
It is early Sunday morning here and I’ve taken this time to find some words of wisdom to share here.
The past few weeks I’ve been 24/7 nose to the grindstone to sort our situation and we are still only at the beginning.
Therefore I’ve had very short snatches of time to come to the Vineyard, only skimming some articles and not getting to the comments.
Yuri’s post caught my attention because I really needed that ‘other-worldly’ voice of Gurrumul to sing me into heavenly sleep.
Also, I dream of Community, depicted as the Aboriginal Dreamtime
These people know, live and love the Home given to them by Creation.
What the Empire took away from the First People, they are taking away from us right now, and have been doing all along.
So many of us are coming out of that sickness of denial.
Hence the Good Fight
Dear Dimitar, a quote from Morris West for you:
“Artists, they’re different… sacred, magical…They don’t need us. When they’re sad or glad or frightened, they don’t turn to us; they climb up to their tower of silence and look out on landscapes we’ll never know, and when they come down they’re purged and refreshed and they bring their works like a talisman of comfort.”
For Anonymous, Thank You for your kind thoughts
I suspect you might appreciate the following, from Macrina Wiederkehr:
“If I could choose one great gift that the world is neglecting I would have to choose feminine energy. It is what we need to save the world. It is what we need to be saints. Feminine energy is powerful because it is pure presence-gentle yet firm. It is an energy that gives warmth, comfort, and spirit simply by its presence. It receives rather than takes. It invites rather than demands. It unfolds rather than controls. It empowers rather than overpowers. It finds it self in being rather than in doing. Feminine energy shows her best Face in leisure. She doesn’t take time -she has time. She has time to be. The world is starving for this energy. It is part of the fire Christ came to cast on the earth – a slow flame that burns from within and gradually transforms what it touches, precisely because it touches rather than clutches.”
Peace and Blessings to all
