All wars are legal tender based- they do not have a connection to gender issues or spiritual mumbo jumbo.
One may trace this line back (in theory) to Prophet Suliman and Money lenders from that time period.
Misinformation is key.
Only b/c it is so easy to do.
Few people have credited the Taliban for showing such restraint at Kabul airport – it is after all a “target rich environment” filled to breaking point with legitimate military forces of occupation.
The level of restraint (and disipline) shown by not engaing a fleeing enemy in disaray is something not often seen.
I am certain that if the situation was reveresed that the Americans out of any Taliban concentration – fleeing or not.
Perhaps the Taliban have been advised not to engage the British and Americans by “outside partners”, I dont know, but if I were a Taliban I would not be allowing many thousands of NATO troops to fly back into the country under the pretext of “evacuation operations”.
Those attack helicopters being used for crowd control and the transport planes jammed on taxi-ways look very vulnerable to even indirect fire, and the troops with light weapons will soon have an ammunition and water supply issue if the Taliban decided to block thier re-supply.
From a military perspective, allowing your enemy, the destroyer of nations, to re-occupy strategic locations does not make sense, and goes against centuries old military doctrine of not chasing your enemy from the field and cutting down fleeing troops so that cant regroup and come back.
To halt a Blitzreig to allow your enemy to not only re group but to fly in thousands of reinforcements to secure critical infrastructure does not make sense.
‘Out side partners’, good observation. The Geneva conversation went like, ” you leave, no ifs ands or buts” we’ll make sure your ass goes with you. The Russians are not leaving the Kush. The way the Taliban rolled across the country……if memory serves, Mr Lavrov spent a lot of time in the Stans this past few months……….working out the deal?
As for the thousands of troops, targets if they venture from their operating area, only there by the Talibans good graces.
The US Afghan file is closing, contractors and all. Any stay behind private US security contractors will be ground up and spit out.

Something smells wrong,
Images now surfacing on various Twitter accounts and on various blogs appear to show that the US and UK are evacuating 100’s (posibly 1000’s) of PMC’s and Afghan Military Officers – not “Diplomatic Staff” as the World is being led to believe.
Where are these fighting men being taken? There is at least one blog reporting that several transports carrying “Middle East Looking” men aged between approx 18 and 40 has landed at a US base in Texas.
Are these NATO trained and experienced fighters being saved in order to be later redeployed in the form of various nucleui of new “Insurgent” armies?
By all expert accounts I have so far read, just x4 heavy lift and x6 airliners were required to evacuate legimate Embassy and other “Diplomatic” staff employed by the US, UK, and the other EU nations.
Clearly the transports arriving at Kabul at the moment are full of US and UK troops, but those leaving are in the most part full of “others”.
According to other reports the number of British and US troops in Kabul has increased by 300% in just the last 24 hours. This does not sound like a withdrawl to me, rather than an attempt at holding a beach-head and operating “Berlin Airlift” style inside hostile territory.
Something smells bad about this – Potential Insurgents evacuated in to the US, UK, and EU, whilst the national Combat forces of the US, UK, and EU are deployed out of thier nations.
There appears to be some sort of psyop going on at Kabul airport.
According to several new reports (which can be found even using google) the footage everyone has seen of the US transport taxing with people clinging onto it at Kabul airport appears to have been staged.
Apparently, the gates were opened and the people told to “greet” the planes – as does seem to be case when you see the full footage of people waving, laughing and smiling to the camera and “hugging” the plane which – get this – is numbered 1109.
1109 is of course the ritual number ‘911’ reversed – absolutely no coincidence. In fact only a fool would think this was a coincidence.
Other footage shows the outer perimeter being opened by security personnel and hundreds of people being allowed to run onto the runway – something which could never happen by accident if “5000” trianed troops supported by spec ops were controlling the airport.
There is also some footage of the crowd waiting at the terminal main doors being told to “run” – apparently for the cameras.
We even had the classic 911 “falling man” ritual replayed to us – watch the falling men on the twin towers 911 attack and then the falling men on the plane numbered 1109.
Something very evil and ritualistic is happening right under our noses.
Also, footage from Twitter seems to show no more than around 500 US and UK troops (max) deployed at Kabul airport – so where are the other 5000?
It looks we are being psyoped / played with the scenes of “choas” at the airport – but we need to compile footage and undertake a detailed examination – including who is actually being evacuated.
Worst fears condirmed – war by demographic madness.
UK Daily Mail Newspaper is today reporting that, quote,
“The US said it may issue up 80,000 special immigrant visas to those who helped with combat operations and are likely to face revenge attacks from the Taliban”
and
“The UK Government has confirmed that there are at least 56,000 people who need evacuating from Afghanistan – including some 22,000 flying on US special immigrant visas, 4,000 British nationals, 10,000 refugees that Germany has said it will accept, and 20,000 bound for Canada. In reality, that number is likely to be far higher once diplomatic staff from dozens of countries which had relations with Afghanistan’s former government are taken into account”.
and
“At least 6,000 people have already managed to flee the country on evacuation flights that began on Sunday, with a dozen departing today – most of them flying to neighbouring Middle Eastern countries before continuing their journeys west. Spain, France and India confirmed their diplomatic staff were evacuated today.”
The above, from the Daily Mail UK, is shocking as this will drastically impact upon already pressed infrastructure in the UK, US, Canada, France, and Germany and very serious “non assimilation issues” with fighting age male immigration from worn torn Middle Eastern countries.
The US currently facing uncontrolled immigration through the southern border and brewing racial division at home does not need an additional “80,000” mostly fighting age angry refugees from a counrty it has spent 20 years pillaging and occupying.
The UK, which aleady has a housing and employment problem for its own own citizens can hardly take, house, and employ “56,000” mostly angry fighting age men.
This is demographic madness and war by other means.
Yes , the “saigon moment” looks staged IMO it was theater . Recreated intentionally
Blackwater has bought a 49% stake in a local airline based in East Africa.
Then this week the Democratic Republic of the Congo announced that the US is deploying a force in the mineral-rich eastern DRC.
I’d say something is cooking in the Great Lakes region and it won’t be too long before we find out.
Most interesting..
business as usual for Western *nation building*!!!!
– EU military advisors particularly Portuguese posted to northern most oil/gas rich province in Mozambique-plus 5000-7000 Rwandan and South African troops/auxilaries also posted here.
Also some light aircraft and vehicles…
Supposedly to control and eliminate!!! a Muslim extremist group supposedly responsible for attacks on major town and port to these Western oil company gas fields!!!
– Also large Brazilian mining interests in Tete province (border to Zimbabwe) on very large Coal deposits
Meanwhile some of those grossly overweight politicos in Maputo are clearly following the Mugable gambit – pillage and ransack as much as you can while possible.
Trust that civilian aircraft guidance transponder placed on a hill, South African side of border, close to Maputo airport has been removed!!! /Samora Machel*s Boeing 747 crash /assasination/ 1990s..
Hmmm..
– Perhaps those plus 2 million Chinese in Africa plus large investments in all countries is getting The City of London slightly nervous and fidgety..
– Chinese apparently also control the illegal diamond mining near Umtali/Umtata in Zimbabwe.(note Zimbabwe also has some highly valued minerals-mines – not radioactive or Lithium,..)
Guess Anglo-American might also be getting a cut.
The *resource curse*
For a quick take on the big ‘opps’, worth the read. Sounds like utter chaos, from which no order will come.

Songs of Love and Parting
I’m departing from my more pastoral imagery and presenting a poem that’s all about real live human relationships, which I’m convinced fall apart largely due to an inability to separate from one’s ego. Accepting responsibility for one’s part in a flare-up is a mark of spiritual maturity, as is overlooking another’s shortcomings and being ready to forgive and accept no matter the differences in our viewpoints.
“One must be cruel, only to be kind.”… Shakespeare
I Will Always Be Cruel ( Only To Be Kind )
I will always love you
Though we can never be friends.
I will always be patient
Though lately I’ve become resigned.
I will always be grateful
For all the dividends.
I will always be cruel
Only to be kind.
I will always be there
To pick you up and brush you off.
I will always listen
Even if I’m disinclined.
I will always care
Though I know it’s never enough.
I will always be cruel
Only to be kind.
I will always berate myself
For all the things I had to say.
I will always thunder
At everything that comes to mind.
I will always hate myself
And wonder if there’s a better way;
You’ll always be cruel
Only to be kind!
I will always love you
Though we can never be friends.
I will always take the blame
Now our lives have become entwined.
I will always forgive you
And try to make amends…
I will always be cruel
Only to be kind.

_Ho sbagliato tante volte ormai che lo so già_
I’ve been wrong so many times now that I already know
_Che oggi quasi certamente_
Which today almost certainly
_Sto sbagliando su di te_
I’m wrong about you
_Ma una volta in più che cosa può cambiare_
But once more what can change
_Nella vita mia_
In my life
_Accettare questo strano appuntamento_
Accept this strange date
_È stata una pazzia_
It was crazy
_Sono triste tra la gente che mi sta_
I am sad among the people who know me
_Passando accanto_
Passing by
_Ma la nostalgia di rivedere te_
But the nostalgia to see you again
_È forte più del pianto_
It is stronger than crying
_Questo sole accende sul mio volto_
This sun lights up on my face
_Un segno di speranza_
A sign of hope
_Sto aspettando quando ad un tratto ti vedrò_
I’m waiting when suddenly I see you
_Spuntare in lontananza_
Stand in the distance
_Amore, fai presto, io non resisto_
Love, hurry up, I can’t resist
_Se tu non arrivi non esisto_
If you don’t arrive I don’t exist
_Non esisto, non esisto_
I don’t exist, I don’t exist
_È cambiato il tempo e sta piovendo_
The weather has changed and it is raining
_Ma resto ad aspettare_
But I stay and wait
_Non m’importa cosa il mondo può pensare_
I don’t care what the world thinks
_Io non me ne voglio andare_
I don’t want to go
_Io mi guardo dentro e mi domando_
I look inside myself and wonder
_Ma non sento niente_
But I don’t feel anything
_Sono solo un resto di speranza_
I’m just a remnant of hope
_Perduta tra la gente_
Lost among the people
_Amore è già tardi e non resisto_
Love is already late but I can’t resist
_Se tu non arrivi non esisto_
If you don’t arrive I don’t exist
_Non esisto, non esisto_
I don’t exist, I don’t exist
_Luci, macchine, vetrine, strade tutto quanto_
Lights, cars, shop, windows, streets, everything
_Si confonde nella mente_
It all gets confused in the mind
_La mia ombra si è stancata di seguirmi_
My shadow is tired of following me
_Il giorno muore lentamente_
The day slowly comes to an end
_Non mi resta che tornare a casa mia_
I just have to go back to my house
_Alla mia triste vita_
To my sad life
_Questa vita che volevo dare a te_
This is the life that I wanted to give to you
_L’hai sbriciolata tra le dita_
Which you crumbled between your fingers
_Amore perdono ma non resisto_
Love, I forgive but I can’t resist
_Adesso per sempre non esisto_
Now I don’t exist forever
_Non esisto, non esisto_
I don’t exist, I don’t exist

being understood
holds more contradictions than
being misunderstood
Thank you for the thought provoking poem.
A translation of an urdu couplet –
The darkness is not such

There is no such quiet
as one cannot hear
You’re welcome, Sudhi, here’s the link to Doug’s website. Scroll down the page to “The Hidden Teachings of Rumi”, and you will find an overview and background to the book. I’ve long seen the discrepancy between the various translations of Rumi, which are largely free interpretations of previous translations, and that’s all fine, but once you understand where Marman and his co-writers, both native Iranians and capable of reading the original Rumi texts, you will see why his work is above and beyond the rest. In any case, they have translated difficult poems that have mostly been avoided by other translators and have offered their versions as entire transcriptions of the original poems. Kindly, D.

In the Cafe of 13.08.2021 it was posted that the mysterious hole in the ISS space station story was raised again, with an accusation to a female NASA astronaut (first post by amarynth):
/moveable-feast-cafe-2021-08-13/#comment-964088
It reminded me of an article by Israel Shamir, once read on the unz review. I found it back, it is from October 2018. It is called ‘toilet wars’, and among other things describes what happened on the ISS. Inside source of Roscosmos, unverified, so originally I took it with a grain of salt. Thereby, we are talking about highly selected and trained people, so what an ISS toilet looks like then can’t be a surprise, and mental stability would not have been gone unnoticed, I guessed.
But still.
What Israel Shamir (via his source) describes here in detail, could quite well be right. You reckon inside NASA and Roscosmos people know darn well what happened, that it is now in publicity might have had to do with internal and external ‘frictions’:

Let’s see how this develops (or not) ;-)
Cheers, Rob
Russians are reaching out to US, hole will probably be ignored.
Here are some of the ways in which Russia would like to work with US.
1…Russian specialists ready to help US Starliner project —
https://tass.com/science/1325845
Roscosmos NASA’s ISS program manager Joel Montalbano said the Starliner launch will not take place before mid-October
MOSCOW, August 13. /TASS/. The director general of Russia’s Roscosmos state-run space corporation, Dmitry Rogozin, said Russian specialists were ready to assist their US colleagues in solving problems of Boeing’s CST-100 Starliner spacecraft.
“Since it is a matter of the ISS [International Space Station] maintenance, we reaffirm our readiness to provide expert support to our US colleagues,” Rogozin wrote in his Telegram channel.
In his words, the M.V. Keldysh Research Center – an affiliate of Roscosmos and the Russian space industry’s leading rocket engine designer and manufacturer – was ready to send a team of its scientists to the United States.
Again Russia calls for joint efforts with West
2…’Russia’s Kommersant daily reported earlier, citing sources, that in Geneva, Russia had suggested that Moscow and Washington should coordinate their activities on the Afghan track and could use the Russian military bases in Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan for practical purposes.’
3…POWER TRANSFER IN AFGHANISTAN17 AUG, 04:27
Situation in Afghanistan highlights need for joint efforts by Russia, West — Lavrov
The Taliban forces entered Afghanistan’s capital of Kabul on August 15 and took control of the entire city within a few hours. Afghan President Ashraf Ghani left the country
KALININGRAD, August 17. /TASS/. The current situation in Afghanistan makes it clear that Russia and the West need to work together, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said, addressing students and professors at Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University on Tuesday.
“Joint efforts [by Russia and the West] to help resolve numerous regional crises and conflicts are relevant. It has become even more clear after the situation in Afghanistan collapsed following a hasty withdrawal of US and NATO troops,” he pointed out.
Members of the Taliban movement (outlawed in Russia) entered Afghanistan’s capital of Kabul on August 15 and took control of the entire city within a few hours.

4…The untold story is the rise of the CSTO which has been weakened by China and is a strengthening the Russians have long wanted.
ZDF: destabilization of Afghanistan strengthens Russia’s role as guarantor of security in Central Asia
Foreign media 08/16/2021 0 comments Views

Moscow gloats over the failure of the United States in Afghanistan, but at the same time, it itself is not interested in further destabilizing the region, according to ZDF . Now, against the backdrop of the coronavirus pandemic and on the eve of the Duma elections, the Kremlin has no time for military operations. But at the same time, the more unpredictable the situation in Afghanistan, the stronger in Central Asia the need for Russia as a country – a guarantor of security. And this will allow Moscow to increase its influence there, which in recent years has weakened because of China, explains the author of the article, Phoebe Gaa.
Russia dominates the Collective Security Treaty Organization, Gaa continues. In the event of an attack on one of the members of this alliance, Moscow is obliged to provide him with military support. Now, on the eve of the Duma elections and against the backdrop of the coronavirus pandemic, the Kremlin is not the right time to conduct any military operations. On the other hand, the more unpredictable the situation in Afghanistan, the stronger the need in Central Asia for Russia as a country – a guarantor of security. This will allow the Kremlin to build up its influence in the region, which has weakened in recent years due to China.
I would be interested in hearing reader opinions on this issue:
My own feeling is that it might be.
Right now the US is a mess.
The Democratic Party has taken their questionable victory over Trump as a carte blanche for Wokersterism, Nannyism, unlimited money printing and so on. Many people despise the Democrats for this, including some former Democrats such as myself.
Fewer and fewer people in the US believe the US media. It is not uncommon for Americans to refer to angrily them as “liars.”
Everyone in America knows that they are being spied on. More and more people are taking precautions to protect themselves from their own government.
The shale oil industry is collapsing and America’s hold on Middle Eastern oil is increasingly more tenuous.
At the same time Russia and China are countering America’s “we’ll-bomb-you-to death-if-you-don’t-do-as-we-say diplomacy” with diplomacy based upon mutual advantages to everyone concerned. Pakistan has already left the American fold and it looks like many other nations are considering the same. Even nations in the Latin America are openly asserting independence.
And while all this is happening, the “leaders” in the US and Europe seem to be clueless as to any of these developments.
I am at the point where I think a Soviet Union moment might be approaching.
Mike:
I certainly will not speculate but the dust clouds are blowing, more strongly by hour and by day.
I believe that the strongest indicators would be if and when some of the clowns in pentagon and nat security resign; and that depends upon the uniparty eunuchs in congress and if and when they demand resignations from the clowns. If and when that happens and how the buy dem admin survives will be a determination.
The neo cons are screeching from one side about this decision, which was absolutely appropriate and long overdue. However, the execution was beyond catastrophic.
To that end, a lot depends upon if someone with clout and balls stands up demands resignation of:
Austin
milley
sullivan
This article is very telling as to just how clueless, just how inept, just how incompetent and deceptive these clowns are:
https://theconservativetreehouse.com/blog/2021/08/17/congressman-doug-lamborn-recently-questioned-defense-secretary-austin-and-joint-chief-chair-milley-about-afghanistan-what-they-said-should-get-them-fired-today-video/
Taras 77,
You make a good point.
Will anyone demand accountability?
My guess is that no one will.
This is the way it has been for a long time in Washington. It doesn’t matter how badly things are screwed up. No one is ever held accountable.
And that, of course, is one of the main reasons that the US has fallen to such depths.
They say the ambassador is still stuck at the airport, can you say negotiation.
I agree. The upcoming Soviet Union moment will be the collapse of NATO.
Look what Armin Laschet, Merkel’s replacement, just tweeted: https://twitter.com/ArminLaschet/status/1427661361576910856
The gist: NATO’s Afghanistan was a “debacle”. Germany needs its own National Security Council.
That of course means Germany controlling its own NS+FP, taking back sovereignty from NATO.
While the imperial hawks might be rattling sabers at China, the real battle is over Europe itself. Next month elections will be critical.
Thanks.
I have been wondering about when the nations of the EU start to grasp the fact that the Atlantic Alliance ship is taking on water.
That quote seems to show that people (at least in Germany) are beginning to wake up.
Mike
The C in C of NATO is always the president of the USA.
Given the current occupant we must assume he, Joe Biden, is no more than a “puppet”.
Over in Europe the situation is the same, the leaders are puppets, apart from one exception.
So the question is: “who pulls the strings”?
Regards Luka
This is too easy a question to answer, and the answer to who pulls the strings is, wait for it……
Just follow the strings to find who is pulling them.
Yes Alabama
Once we know that the “strings” exist, we can find the pulleys, as in a simple wheel device, to change the vector of the “pull”.

Alabama,
I am not sure who is really running the west. I assume that it is like in the middle ages – powerful wealthy families and their apparatchiks, i.e., the Davos crowd and their functionairies.
It is a known who is controlling the west, but at what point is this a liability and one hopes to be not on the wrong side of nature as time quickly ticks off, since it appears so easy to do.
I just heard about the new flood insurance agreements that basically devalue a property by raising the cost to insure it so high as to bring the value towards zero. Like $6000 a year, and how many years of that before the property is worthless.
They say a lot of money has gone into bridges and roads, but mostly just on the east coast, how long before the country is divided into 2 or 3 parts and perhaps even the monetary system changes from a system wide collapse.
The shelves are slowly emptying, good thing I have most everything I need, these other outcasts i’m not so sure about.
Alabama,
You wrote:
It is worse than that. Here in New Jersey the state has been engaging in a complicated scheme to seize waterfront properties. Basically, they convince you to allow beach replenishment to add sand to your beachfront – with a condition. The condition is that you give up private rights in the beach permanently. That, in essence, makes your “beachfront property” into a non-beachfront property. Your property is now separated from the sea by “public property.” Naive homeowners think it is a good deal since they believe that newly deposited sand will protect their homes from storms. Of course, the sand deposited by the State washes away in the first storm. And the State specifically conditions the initial deposit on sand on the homeowner agreeing that they will not have the right to compel the State to deposit more sand if the initial loads of sand wash away – which, of course, they quickly do.
If you don’t sign the agreement then you get harassed by State and local regulators until you cave in.
I fully expect that the State will claim that even if every last bit of the deposited sand washes away, that the waterfront owner still loses the right to claim that any remaining beachfront is private property.
The whole thing is a scam to seize property without paying compensation for it under the Fifth Amendment to the Constitution.
Luka-The-K9,
You wrote:
I am curious as to who in Europe you believe is not a puppet.
Orban?
I also wonder as to who is really running things. My best guess is that it is a consortium from the Davos crowd.
What is your guess?
Yes Mike, Orban is as independent as he can be, given the contemporary EUR Soros “Zeitgeist”.
At the end of the string, or “gravy train” we always find the “pecuniary prime movers”
Of course there are lots of “pulley wheels” and “helper engines” along the “belt way”
Now when the “pulley wheels”, so to say professional management, realise they are, how can we say, “at risk” they tend to part with the “spindle” or axle.
The pulley wheels hide behind “safety shields”, for example professional unions or cartels, legal devices or corrupted justice and law enforcement offices.
We could use the analogy of the “swastika” spinning on a rod.
Regards Luka
Luka-The-K9,
Things are really a mess right now for the average person.
But like yourself, I am pinning my hopes on a few things.
One, as you say, the professionals working for the oligarchs will eventually find themselves in the crosshairs of oligarch greed. It is inevitable that that will happen. I also think that it is also inevitable that the oligarchs will turn on each other when there are no more “commoners” to exploit. Megalomania simply does not recognize limits. These people think themselves to be gods. They will act without reference to limits. When all that starts to happen the war will no longer be against us, it will be among them.
Two, neither Europe nor the United States has any real energy reserves. And Russia and China are now simply too strong to allow a new annexation of the middle east. The lack of energy reserves may put a damper on plans for a techno-oligarch dystopia.
Three, more and more people are becoming aware of what is going on. At the very least, more people are aware that something is very wrong.
We may not be free of the oligarchs in my lifetime but freedom will return.
Mike from Jersey
The last totalitarian adventure, from 1933 to 1945, offers many “clues” for the student of the contemporary global situation.
We are dealing with a sophistic set of people who are “in your face” one minute then using psychological methods the next.
“Image” is a priority for them. They must be seen as “good people”.
In that sense this is a battle between “good” and “evil”, the evil apparatnik “pulleys” do not like their safety guards to be taken from them.
They do not like to be “exposed”.
We could be in for another 12 year struggle.
Regards
Luka
I am hoping it is inspiration that territory occupied by coalition forces in Syria north east and al Tanf can be removed ….also Iraq. Maybe Erdogan could come to feel a sense of restraint though being perverse he might be of the persuasion that militant rebels in Idlib will be more convinced of their occupation “rights” and support them more.
JJ,
The conventional wisdom is that if the US leaves Iraq, they have to also leave Syria since they could no longer supply their occupation forces in Syria.
I believe that there are plans to leave Iraq. That would basically end the illegal occupations of the middle east.
I am not holding my breath waiting for it to happen. After the debacle in Afghanistan, they might not wish more embarrassments on the international scene.
But, then again, I never thought that they would leave Afghanistan.
So, who knows?
Big Talib press confernce just finished, “everyone is safe, don’t worry, be happy.” If this gets pulled off…..words will not suffice.
Cheers
Breaking news – should be on all major news sites within the hour –
US and China now on a war footing after leak suggests the US has moved 30,000 military personnel to Taiwan
On Twitter:
Now, the US and the Taiwan authorities must explain. If it is true that the US has 30,000, or less than that number, soldiers stationed on the Taiwan island, Chinese military forces will immediately launch a war to eliminate and expel the US soldiers. pic.twitter.com/sZMrmIweM6
— Hu Xijin 胡锡进 (@HuXijin_GT) August 17, 2021
You need to put this in context and perspective. If it is true that there are 30,000 or fewer soldiers that the US has stationed, Chinese military forces will launch a war to expel those soldiers.
That has not been confirmed.
The editor of the Global Times does not announce wars. He is just a mouthpiece and bullhorn.
This is news already from two days ago, and still it is not on ‘all the major news sites’.
A little restraint is in order in reporting here.
Let us also put the link to the tweet so that people can read for themselves how this started – and it was an announcement by a US senator. Nobody knows if he is talking trash or not.

The PLA is holding life fire drills at the moment.

And that the Chinese will do kinetic war after what we’ve seen in Afghanistan is outside of the realm of common sense thinking.

He is just a tenure relic, Texas repug.
He and biden should start a coloring book club.
I think that the Saker and Unz may be missing something about the nature of the terrible anti vax trolls.
Back in the late 2000s there were several cases of Jewish or Israeli kids getting caught posting the most obnoxious anti-jewish and racist comments on sites that posted news that the hegemon and groups like the ADL and SPLC wished to discredit. Similar trolls post garbage on Gab, for apparently similar motives.
Now days this is mostly automated.
It would not at all surprise me if the toxic antivax comments are part of a troll campaign by the usual suspects.
There are plenty of sane people that question the vax narrative who are not foaming at the mouth.
It is sad that troll farms make it impossible to have civil conversation on that subject.
David Sant
The “troll farms” are not an issue, they are not, how can we say, very effective.
Has “The Saker” suffered?
We get a few sophists, but they don’t last long.
They will tease a little, pick up a few crumbs here and there.

Yes this is their business, Germany however says stick it.

The issue of women is very important. The Islamic Emirate is committed to the rights of women within the framework of Sharia. Our sisters, our men have the same rights; they will be able to benefit from their rights. They can have activities in different sectors and different areas on the basis of our rules and regulations: educational, health and other areas. They are going to be working with us, shoulder to shoulder with us. The international community, if they have concerns, we would like to assure them that there’s not going to be any discrimination against women, but of course within the frameworks that we have. Our women are Muslim. They will also be happy to be living within our frameworks of Sharia.

I’ve gotten a lot further in life by following these 2 simple rules.
Rule #1: There are no rules.
Rule #2: Follow rule #1.
1. Do all you’ve agreed to do
2. Do not encroach on others or their property.
Richard Maybury, in his book “Whatever Happened to Justice”,
outlined these two imperatives for living, which
if followed, guarantee a clear spiritual conscience.
All my consciences are rather clear at this point including the spiritual one, but so far, nothing in life is guaranteed.
“… nothing in life is guaranteed,” You’re right about that, Alabama.
But there is a way, and it’s called ‘the narrow way’. However, we each have to find what that means and how it applies to us as individuals, coz it will surely be different to the next person.
what’s right for you
is wrong for me,
what’s right for me
is wrong for you
I 100% agree with you there Dim, the trick is to do what’s right for you while not upsetting the wrong for me’s.
You’re a good man, Alabama. Glad to see you’re still here, the ranks have sure been thinning of late. Best to you, dear friend.

The EUR grifters have benefitted financially from the events in Afghanistan.
“Germany however says stick it.”
They no longer have the contacts to “launder” money.
They are bitterly disappointed.
Vienna, Brussels and Frankfurt am Main, and The City of London/Wall St., have lost a big part of their criminal network.
In effect they have lost a very successful business model that began 75 years ago.
Now the EUR “apparatniks” have to run around pretending to be innocent.

One man and courage, make a majority. And we’ve both been that.
For most parts, with regard to either property or testimony, the status of woman in Islam is considered as half of that of a man according to Sharia :
In the second chapter of the Quran, Al-Baqarah, verse 2:282 provides a basis for the rule that two women are the equivalent of one man in providing a witness testimony in financial situations.
“And get two witnesses out of your own men. And if there are not two men (available), then a man and two women, such as you agree for witnesses, so that if one of them (two women) errs, the other can remind her.”

It seems there are always mixed messages between Russia and Donbass. First they give people citizenship, but then don’t open polling stations for elections. They open polling stations in Lvov,Kiev,Karkov, and Odessa for Russian citizens to vote. But not for the 500,000 plus Russians in Donbass. Its hard and costly for those people to travel to Rostov to vote:
” Russia will open polling stations even in Lvov. But not in Donetsk. What is it like?!!
8th year Moscow has been playing with Donbass in “camomile”: “It will press it to the heart, send it to the devil”
The head of the CEC Ella Panfilova said that during the voting in the State Duma of the Russian Federation, polling stations in Ukraine will be opened in four cities at once: Kiev, Odessa, Kharkov and even Lvov. Nothing is said about Donetsk and Lugansk.
At first I thought that the CEC had simply forgotten that there are already under a million Russian citizens living in the Donbass. No, I haven’t forgotten. The full quote from the speech of the head of the Central Election Commission clearly states: “There are no polling stations on the territory of the unrecognized republics, there will be no voting there.” Everyone is invited to vote to use the State Services or drive to sunny Rostov-on-Don. Anyone who has crossed the Russian-Donbas border at least once knows that this proposal sounds like a mockery. With a certain “luck” you can even miss it in a day. Well, gasoline will have to burn thousands of three rubles – a third of the average salary in the belligerent republics.
I roughly know how people in the DPR and LPR will perceive this news about the normal voting that has not happened, people exhausted by the war and timelessness, suspended – some by the legs, some by the hands, and some by the neck, between heaven and earth. Entangled in omissions, rumors, obscure signals from the mainland. From Russia. Here, just now there was a quite clear signal – at the moment, you, the citizens, are being sent.
What prevents Russia from opening temporary consular posts and polling stations in Donbass with them – I do not understand.
Ukraine will write a note of protest?
For what? If Donetsk in Ukraine continues to be considered its territory, then how does it differ from Odessa and Lvov? You can vote there.
And if you do not consider the territory of Ukraine, then what can stop us?
And in general – against the background of the Russian-Ukrainian war imagined by Kiev, which has been going on for some year, this is such a trifle.
They were not afraid to issue Russian passports in the DPR and LPR, but is it scary to realize the rights of newly minted citizens?
One thing is good – the residents of Donbass are not bored: they have been playing the national game “chamomile” for a year now – does Russia love or not? Moreover, all the players sit on a mental swing that works without interruption. Passports were issued, but they are not entirely real, with limited functionality. It seems that the regime with the Russian Federation is visa-free, but you sweat to cross the border. Donetsk is not Moscow at all, but prices are the same as in the capital. There seems to be no war, but there are those killed – civilians and soldiers …
Up and down on this stupid swing, eighth year creaking. Many are nauseated, but many have become accustomed to, tempered. Miners! Again, mother Russia is loved. And it’s impossible to stop loving a mother, it’s a mother!

Uncle Bob
“What prevents Russia from opening temporary consular posts and polling stations in Donbass with them – I do not understand?”
The DPR and LPR are not part of the RF. For example the Hungarian population in the Carpathians of west Ukraine. Hungary has no legal tenure in this region. There are other examples in the Baltics, where there are many cultural Russians.
The RF does not follow the insane example of the EU which IMPOSES its rules on the 27 nations.
The EU and NATO have been “bating” the RF for the past 7 years to start a “big” war in this region.
Berlin, Brussels and Vienna are “on a mission” as it were, to capture the RF.
In reality the EU is the Fourth Reich where public assets, private assets and academia are ONE ENTITY.
The RF has stated it will protect the DPR and LPR but don’t expect a big war, where lots of western equipment will be sold.
Such a bitter disappointment for the western hyena packs.
The 15 year old kids in the DPR and LPR can make their own “microwave boomers” to bring down the drones.
They don’t need the RF apart from essential supplies like pharmaceuticals etc. which are delivered from time to time.
Regards Luka.
No one said they were part of the RF,and neither are Lvov,Kiev,Kharkov,or Odessa, where the RF did set up ballot stations for Russian citizens to vote.Donbass now has over 500,000 Russian citizens that want to vote as well.Do you live in Donbass,or even have you visited it in the last 7 years. If not how do you know what they need from the RF.The numerous friends I have that live there, say they get much more from the RF than you seem to think.
The TV Tropes article ‘Banned in China’, and under the Afghanistan section it claims that the Taliban prohibited television, movies and secular music from 1996 to 2001 on the grounds that it was idolatrous.
SouthFront ran an article discussing “different life” for women.
https://southfront.org/taliban-promise-different-life-for-women-as-one-killed-for-not-wearing-burqa/
Will the Taliban’s policy on TV, film, music, etc. also be different from what it was 20-25 years ago? Whatever the choice becomes, I’ll respect it.
[Is it still safe to post SouthFront links?]

Interesting question, while your post came through. Saker policy is described here: /important-announcement-by-the-saker/
Point of interest is, what is meant by “the Saker blog”, while this is the Cafe which refreshes every few days. I cannot clarify this clear enough.
About the rest: is this different than the common laws and habits in e.g. the ME Gulf States? Afaik in Saudi Arabia, the shining example of democracy (just look at their smooth last parliament elections ;-)) they still have religious police (‘mutaween’), though there are more nations having something similar like e.g. Nigeria, Sudan, Malaysia, Iran.
Could it be that the howling in the West might be somewhat premature, if not outright hypocrite?
Cheers, Rob
The MFC is fully part of The Saker Blog.
There is no difference. Usually, we get a little more freedom of moderation here. But, imv, now, with continual abuse of that, we’re on the same page in terms of moderation with the rest of the blog.
But, we still get a little more freedom in terms of topics.
Tom Luongo is kinda real here and in spaces truly funny. This is a good one for Americans to listen to, probably Canadians as well and there are bits and pieces on New Zealand and Australia. It’s probably too simple but for now, it is probably simple enough.

I really enjoyed his full use of Irish euphemisms, f this, f that, and my fav, f u. Calls it like it is. I’ll have to go look for his views on…..the thing that can’t be named……as he did say he was a chemist by trade. A bit long as he reads comments and chats as he goes, but the laughs were worth it….”keep the f’n technology, let the Chinese mine the litium, and just buy it from them”…..$3trillion would buy a lot of litium……..which would come in handy, as ‘bipolar denial’ seems to affect the majority of US politicians.

A reporter friend of mine said he had taken a call today from his contact in Kabul.
Mood and situation at the airport has turned bad due to a US officer threatening the Taliban “Police” at the gates and stating that they cant come in – the US “own” this airport.
This was reported up the chain and apparently pissed off the Taliban so much they sent pretty much all the Police vehicles (yes they are pick ups with blue light bars on top) to surround the airport and control everything going in and out. There are photos on Twitter and in some news agencies supporting this.
Taliban have now locked down nthe airport and are showing the soldiers inside some weaponary such as 15.6mm guns and rpg (to show the US who actually controls the situations).
The Hubris of the General at the airport is astounding. In response he warned (on social media) that if the Taliban raise thier weapons against his men they will be met with massive and overwhelming force.
Does this idiot not realise he, his men, and all his supplies are vulnerable to continuous barrage from the very weapons they supplied the Afghan army with?
Does he not realise that no plane can safely land or take off unless the Taliban choose to allow it?
Apparently the British military chief does recognise this and has reached out to diffuse this crazyness by stating that the British forces in Kabul recognise they are operating under the good will and authority of the Taliban and are continuing evacuation efforts.
This should all be in the press (with photographs and videos) by the time this comment is posted.
Dear Auslander,
How is the state of readiness at Fortress Krim?
The tension level and mood?
I hope improved from April-May?
The busy little bees will be looking to strike out somewhere in revenge and re-affirmation of their purported virility and to divert global media from the ongoing debacle.
May the deterrent hold.
“In order to curb this burgeoning relationship, the United States should ally with China instead. While the Biden administration has been tough on China so far, the Arctic is a completely independent sphere of security competition and should be treated by the administration as such. Here’s why this could work to the United States’ advantage:
Business heals all wounds: an alliance would decrease geopolitical tensions between China and the United States.”

Important News regarding “OneWeb” – the UK Government 5G and GPS (internet and track & trace) satellite system –
The UK version of Elon Musks Starlink, known as “OneWeb”, is today a step closer to operational level completion with the launch of another 200+ satelites by an advanced Russian spacecraft of the “Soyuz” class.
These satellites will join the 5G capable internet broadcasting system “constellation” already in orbit. Just over 600 satellites in total will not leave a single cm of the UK behind in the race to provide universal internet and 5G coverage.
The “OneWeb” system will provide not only total internet coverage to even the most remote parts of the UK, but will also be able to provide the Government with the ability to track and trace every UK citizen anywhere in the UK and even the World. The contellation will provide a new independent form of GPS specially developed for the British Government.
The British Government will now no longer need to build cell towers in order to provide every citizen with internet access as it will be available to everyone via thier cell phones. Existing GPS enabled apps and features will be able to be updated to the “OneWeb” system in due course.
UK Government on “OneWeb”:
https://www.gov.uk/government/news/uk-government-secures-satellite-network-oneweb
Sputnik news on launch of new “constellation” of OneWeb satellites:
https://sputniknews.com/russia/202108191083663720-russias-soyuz-spacecraft-launches-34-new-oneweb-satellites-into-orbit/
The above systems will ensure that every man, woman, child, pet, and piece of equipment will be constantly connected to the system and thier exact location known in real time, everywhere.
We are getting very close now to a “Skynet” type of dystopia.
Is anybody here following this 5g attack on humanity? dovetails nicely with the other components of the genocide.
https://homunizam1.wordpress.com/2020/03/28/what-exactly-is-wrong-with-5g-cellular-calcification/?fbclid=IwAR14YA3qqAWMzUEqGloNU8IfEPYB6gX8zPs4OieRLiqzlrZYsxF2nJx8rx8
Yes.
I think we have all been out flanked, attacked from behind our own lines, and brought to the brink of defeat before most people even recognised an attack took place.
It is clear to me that the “OneWeb” system is indeed a covering of us all in a spiders web from which nobody can now escape (unless 30ft+ underground in an EMF proof bunker).
These systems will make cell towers obsolete, so even resistance action in the form of infrastucture destruction will not destroy the web or grid in the sky – constantly transmitting, constantly penetrating, constantly controlling.
As a species I feel we are fast approaching the brink.
