We are all (atomically speaking) one collective explosion from a star some billions of years ago, (so essentially…)
We are just a bunch of (conscience) thoughts until we are sent back “home.” (Rearranged in some other form – I guess it would be easy for a Creator to do this)
Looking forward?….. Tom Petty … is a long…. long way home ..(key guitar, drum-go)
Sorry I just looked it up it was Tom Petty
Wait a minute, just realized I changed the lyric (to long way home from long long road) to Make a point.
Hence, Shakespear (“think therefore I am”) quote.
Here we are
Blaming failure on the other
Here we are awaiting to depart
Do we care
Just enough to aid our brother
Do we care enough to cease the harm
With every step we take we get further away.
From everything we need to reach harmony
For all of us who won’t linger on to pretend
And everyone who follows their dreams
Runaway
From the weights that keep you cornered
Find a way to take back what is yours
You and I
We’re depending on each other
While divided we won’t hear the call
Where do I heal when the river runs dry?
How do I sweeten the bitter?
A word decides our fate
And our silence condemns
Would you give us what is left of your time
Give yourself up for the others
The choices are our own
But the failure we’ll share
The man in charge is announcing
He’ll be the one who saves the earth and feeds the poor
And when that promise is broken
The next in line with the same lies will claim the throne
For every step he takes we get further away
From finding what we need to reach unity
With every word he says he condemns who we are
Depriving us from reaching our dreams
Where do I heal when the river runs dry?
How do I sweeten the bitter?
A word decides our fate
And our silence condemns
Would you give us what is left of your time
Give yourself up for the other
The choices are our own
But the failure we’ll share.

My point was not the song ( that was an accident) to lighten up the mood a little, I wanted to let a couple of days pass to let the preponderance of information to settle, but now realize I better type fast before people get distracted by “someone’s” song lyrics.
I did not want to over burden people, but I wanted to link science to religion ( a Creator), but I figured I might be frightening people to fast to suggest via science how easy it is for a creator to exist, and the most important concept:
Time is relative. It says somewhere in the Quran that one of my days (God’s) is equivalent to 1000 of your time.
So, if one understands that we come only from atoms, that were sourced billions of years ago, that the only thing distinguishing “us” from those primordial atoms are our deeds (hence thoughts I was referring to.)
We are not random. (Simply against probability since we came from this “big bang” ( the atoms that is). He mentioned in the Quran we came from a bang/ explosion and it was expanded (physics proves this- ) we, nor our universe would have formed if it was random- no evolution took place).
Time being relative is important because it explains why or gives credence or the concept of a Heaven and/ or Hell.
I do not want to overburden anyone, just to put out there that our constructs of time, and reality are constructs, not much more. They all change in an instant our reality changes (at death.) So might as well figure it out now before that happens.
Hope I did not say too much.
Cheers
The quiet in which we live
The deep oceans in which we journey
Not every moment brings delicate beauty
Other difficult adventures are awaiting
Pay no attention to the fragments which wound the heart
When seeking cure for the eternal agony
A day but passes from eternity to oblivion
That day brings forth agitation mind and body
Someone has called at every misfortune and calamity
They sought to create a new existence in eternity
We who have lived our life
In whose universe are we now living
day turns into night;
the daily oblivion of
my unwept tears…
Drunken Tiger
There’s a drunken tiger prowling,
Prowling through the night.
Trying to find his way back home,
Spoiling for a fight.
There’s a drunken tiger running,
Running from the gun.
Trying to find his way back home,
Before his day is done.
There s a drunken tiger laughing,
Laughing as he leaps,
Trying to find his way back home,
Treading water deep.
There’s a drunken tiger walking,
Walking through his sleep;
He’s trying to find his way back home
And something he can keep.
Awesome Dimitar :)
only last line I’d change it to ‘And something he can’t keep’
thanks for all the goodies mate
bwbs
Thank you, aloha. Sudhi’s beautiful lines and Bostonian’s thoughts however, brought about my response, so thanks, guys.
Many thanks Dimitar for your poems and kind regard.
Thanks Just A Girl, for the song.
Going through previous posts in the Cafe, I found this beautiful poem, I hope Anonymous takes delight in it –
Divan: Hafeez Shirazi #233 ( Trans. Paul Smith with note re: “seal-ring of Jamshid” , A King of Ancient Persia who had a cup in which he could see the whole world (Universal MInd) …even that will not get you Unity if you do not experience Love)
If from Your garden a flower I gather…does it matter?
If by Your lamp, my feet’s way I ponder, does it matter?
O Lord, if in shelter of the cool shade of the cypress,
burning, I sat for a moment to recover…does it matter?
Seal-ring of Jamshid that works hard for good fortune,
if upon ring’s ruby You’re the reflector, does it matter?
My reason has gone from the house, and if this is wine
I’ve had, then, faith’s house, I wonder….does it matter?
When the city’s pious look for king and judge’s favours,
if of a fair One I chose to be a lover…does it matter?
I’ve spent my precious life on wine and on a fair One:
what comes from this and the other…..does it matter?
The Master knew that I was a lover and kept silent….
If Hafez also knows, that I am a lover….does it, matter?

Thank you, Sudhi.
Hafez is truly sublime, peerless.
I wish there were more people like him in the world today.
His shrine at Shiraz is a very special place. I hope you and Dimitar get the chance to visit one day.
Lets hope your wish comes true. I had always wanted to visit Iran, as well some of the Central Asian countries.
During this time of tumult, travel has become severely restricted. Even so, the future is uncertain and all things are possible.
Hats off to Sudhi and Dimitar.
Yeah hats off.. woohoo.
Bostonian, nice one – hats off for those with axe’s to grind -it’s hot work in the public domain sun, son.
Thank you for that one!

This is what women were being taught in Afghanistan by NGO’s

Some readers were happy to hear news that the price of gas in Europe went up to $730 for every 1000 cubic meters.
I can’t say I’m up to date with how this is good news. So far I have three different guesses, with varying degrees of validity:
A. this is seen as all the more reason to embrace Nord Stream 2 with open arms
B. It portends greater profits for Gazprom (unless it’s not Gazprom who profits from this rise in prices), or
C. Some people are all too happy to see European taxpayers (including fellow readers) suffer from cold winters.
Any other explanation that has been omitted, or a combination of any of the above? Your guess is as good as mine.
I noted yesterday via sputnik that Norway is planning to go green and will stop exports of oil and gas sometime later… which has built up their financial reserves and is about 40% of their economy….I am not convinced tbis is a good idea but might encourage gazprom……..
Eye-opening and relevant as that may be, I don’t know how that answers my question as to why some readers of Russian media laud the rise of gas prices in Europe. Thanks for your consideration nonetheless.
October the prices for gas are set to rise substantially in the UK, who benefits ? My hunch, Gazprom benefits, there are 6-15 aprox main energy companies supplying gas and electricity, and over 150 other companies that operate on a local level. competitive market, and less and less people able to afford to pay and keep warm.
Oh sweet drunken tiger… thy smell of roses gone wilted like a drunken stupor.

From “Anoxia”…a “FYI” kinna post.
Mr P tried to vote today. His experience (and the poll workers agreed) made it clear that the “election” is/was rigged.
Persons here can cast their “vote” only if they bring their “vote” by mail documents, documents that they did not keep, and which they destroyed because they intended to vote properly in person. The State says that they sent mail-in ballots to everybody, asked for or not…
Thus these people, who have ID and have voted many times in person, who know the poll workers as neighbors, are forced to “cast” so-called “provisional ballots” – which are not counted. At 11 am local time, 7 people have voted in person, while about 100 “provisional ballots” were in a large stack.
He was told that this was because he “might have already voted” – note that this is an assumption of guilt and baldly unconstitutional, and frankly contravenes Magna Carta. One must “prove” he did not attempt a crime? This is the way the Fascists run their “elections”.
The poll workers agreed that Stalin, Goebbels, or Hitler would have been proud of the fake “election”.
Some people say that “if the ballot box fails, then the “ammo box” opens”.
They may be correct about that. I hope we have genuine elections, and soon!

(Hey Sean the L, get yer Baofang yet?)
Hi Mr P, unfortunitly, not yet. Been busy processing buckets of tomatoes, and getting some food in for the winter. I did though, pick up a sparkly new varmit ridder, with accutremonts for various ranges. Basicly a food gathering back up if needed.
I did look over the Boafang site, so many choices, I can’t remember if you mentioned a specific model, if you have one in mind (not worried about price point, I’d prefer quality and range) please drop a line. I’m more interested in scanner rather than 2 way but I’m open to what’s best. I haven’t seen or used a scanner since my heady days of youth, speeding down country roads, hiding from the Mounties. I’m sure much has changed since then.
Cheers, and all the best, M

At first I was concerned that it may lead to possible civilian deaths. I feared I would lose some sleep from this and the reaction below the article itself. And then I saw this:
So in other words the missiles targeted, and fell into, a body/bodies of water, and not a soul got injured, let alone killed?
*wipes sweat off forehead, neck and chest*
Not that I intend to be cynical (yet), but the next question is, what are North Korea’s intentions besides self-defense? Does NK have the safety of any other nations’ civilians as a priority, if not the top one?
(P.S. I’m not going to argue for or against the reactions from the (US owned and run) government(s) of Japan and/or South Korea – that’s another story.)
(P.P.S. I’ve observed that comment sections on Rusnext articles tend to close and disappear four days after publication. If you are even remotely interested in what certain readers have to say, not that they are likely to sufficiently represent the average Russian population, check it out while it’s still less than 96 hours old.)
The China-North Korea Treaty of Friendship, Co-operation and Mutual Assistance was recently renewed.
NK can assume Chinese protection while advancing its nuclear program.
This is Beijing’s only formal security commitment. China has to defend NK if Pyongyang comes under armed attack.
That was good shooting by NK, they did not attack Japan but were close enough to get everyone worried. IMO In case Pyongyang wanted war they would do something similar, not an armed attack but close enough to warrant overreaction as they cannot attack first.
excerpt
This is not the case with regard to the China-North Korea alliance, although Pyongyang was upset with Beijing’s decision in the early 1990s to normalise ties with South Korea, as had the Kremlin. Bilateral relations between China and North Korea also soured in the mid 1990s, but Beijing and Pyongyang did not renounce the alliance treaty for they continued to share the need to maintain North Korea’s regime stability and survival. In 2001, China and North Korea restored an exchange of high-level visits with Chinese President Jiang Zemin’s trip to North Korea.
Importantly, inter-party relations continue to exist alongside the inter-state component. Joint diplomatic statements emphasised the role of traditional party-to-party ties, and that China specifically supports the Korean Workers’ Party, not just the North Korean government, on its path to a socialist economy. The party-to-party ties are missing in Russia-North Korea interactions.
When it comes to security matters, China made clear that it would protect North Korea if the United States and South Korea attacked it first, even when Beijing was imposing sanctions on Pyongyang and the risks of a US-North Korea escalation was high back in 2017. This is in line with the Chinese government’s commitment to only aid North Korea if the North is subjected to armed attack under Article II of the Treaty. It is also worth noting that China’s alliance with North Korea is Beijing’s sole formal security commitment.
The endurance of the China-North Korea alliance can be explained by the persistence of single-party state systems in China and North Korea, and shared geopolitical interests against a US presence in the region. This is in stark contrast with Russia’s ambiguous pledge to cooperate with North Korea if contingencies arise after the Soviet single-party system collapsed.
With the China-North Korea alliance renewed, the power dynamics on the Korea peninsula look set to follow a familiar pattern. China will leverage its alliance with North Korea to prevent Pyongyang from provoking a major crisis, while dangling the threat of a Chinese intervention to moderate US ambitions. North Korea will continue to rely on Chinese economic assistance, especially when to recover from the pandemic, and assume Chinese protection while advancing its nuclear program.
As Kim and Xi put it, opposing imperialism and building socialism underpins the essence of the treaty renewal.
https://www.lowyinstitute.org/the-interpreter/why-china-and-north-korea-decided-renew-60-year-old-treaty
Article II
The Contracting Parties undertake jointly to adopt all measures to prevent aggression against either of the Contracting Parties by any state. In the event of one of the Contracting Parties being subjected to the armed attack by any state or several states jointly and thus being involved in a state of war, the other Contracting Party shall immediately render military and other assistance by all means at its disposal.

Something to note (if the English is accurate and expert) Brother Lavrov has, it seems, let himself go and set aside fully diplomatic rhetoric, just at the end. He indulged himself with sarcasm. The significance seems to be that he might as well, eg “what’s the difference? it can’t hurt, alas we all know where this fubar is headed.”, anyway that’s how I read Brother L This is, I admit, a very dark prospect indeed – some real violence is, I think with grave sadness, in the offing. Pity that.
https://tass.com/world/1338237
“…20 years in Afghanistan, then probably people will be fleeing the places that the West wanted to make happy through their democratic mission,” he summed up….” (bravo! Mr L! “make happy” Very droll!)
@Mr P:
I don’t understand how you infer a dark prospect of real violence from his words?
It sounds more like resignation and disgust, if the translation is accurate in tone as well as content.
Are you connecting other dots from elsewhere?
Maybe much is lost in translation? I also do not know Russian.
However I think Russia, through the sec council abstention in 2011, played a role in providing a fig leaf of “legitimacy” which was leveraged by NATO to attack Libya during Medvedev era, so it is ironic he used that example.
PS – my condolences with the election result
Thanks on the “election”.
As MacBeth teaches, immoral seizure of power only assures Burnam wood’s arrival. The rigged ritual only adds heat to the SOJ secession. Many points of objective force exist. Saker says “vector sum” in re US, let us regard the vector sum of global forces. https://soj51.org/ The “vector sum” in these here parts leads West to making deals with Asia, our natural business associates. That requires political separation. And That requires a great weakness in other, Eastern, centers of force, and that’s happening. When the chains snap, they snap suddenly, I am sorry to observe.
But to the specific. Comrade Minister L is a diplomat. Diplomats never, in the course of diplomacy, indulge in the luxury of satire. Ergo, in his view, diplomacy has failed.
As everybody knows, when diplomacy fails, then war follows.
That’s how the inference works, much the same thing happened in the illegal expulsion of USSR from League, then the diplomacy slowed to ritual, ambassadors were changed, (indicating big policy change) and war began.
Howard K Smith analyzed the economic disposition of forces acting upon the 3rd Reich in “Last Train”. Much the same sort of forces now act upon the “4th Reich”. I ought to copy out the passage and post it. He reasons clearly that the 3-Reich Must Attack in the very near future, or collapse 100% fersure. It’s a “hail Mary” moment, I am sorry to expect. Same as last time, but lots bigger and nastier.
Nevertheless, if our esteemed brothers do as they have promised, the US Reich, as a center of control (recall VVP’s warnings) has only a short future. I have a kid in DC. I may never see that kid again. We are glad that our parents who fought at Okinawa and in Europe are not alive to cry at this spectacle and betrayal.

Good God.
Is this serious?
Any corroborating evidence elsewhere?
Is this is the current true posture of the Chinese establishment?
Are the Chinese really throwing gauntlets at monkeys with grenades?!
You have to focus on feeding the monkey bananas, not threatening it or trying to neuter it at all!
What happened to strategic patience and letting time finish off the Hegemon?
Is this the reason for possible rift at SCO currently and reason Mr. Putin is in Moscow in “isolation” ?!
Are the Russians aghast at both parties?
What in name of our Good Lord has caused the Chinese to go FUBAR
Please explain this is all satire.
I may dream tonight of the bloody footsteps of Boris Kazlof’s Mahdi!
All valid or true, and the average person on the street is livid. It does make a devastating picture put together like the commentator did. China is cleaning up all rentier capitalism, they are chopping heads of big companies that do not put China first .. there will be no monopolies. In the last Sitrep I said on one set of new laws, it seems to me as if they’re in effect doing the opposite of the western culture now.
FUBAR, no, there still is strategic patience but it’s wearing thin because red lines are not being respected. This patience will now proceed in an evenhanded manner and tit for tat. You do your freedom of navigation ships in our oceans and we will do ours in your oceans. The Chinese consider this a terrible waste of time and resources but at least they’re giving their equipment a good workout.
How many times would you like to be described as someone’s enemy, sanctions and trade wars, China virus, cotton crop harvest almost wiped out with human rights violations accusations and undue influence on buyers to not buy, and just a massive list of demands and accusations? I mean we’ve had 3 major diplomatic visits between Chinese State and US State since the Biden Admin and in all three of them the US walked in with demands. Remember the fiasco of the meeting in Alaska. There have been two others similar since then – each a fiasco.
Also bear in mind that China in this week (48th session of the UN Human Rights Council) formally asked for an investigation into crimes, including torture and killing of civilians, committed in Afghanistan by U.S. and allied troops. The representative also asked the United States to reflect on its mistakes and address serious human rights violations. China is not mincing words any longer.
China set out their red lines .. 3 and 2 lists of areas of concern – The US decided to ignore all of that.
– the US should not challenge, smear or seek to subvert the Chinese path and system,
– should not seek to interrupt or disrupt China’s development,
– should not violate China’s national sovereignty or territorial integrity
The Russians? They are doing integrated war games with China. The respective military forces are integrated now in terms of communication abilities. The Saker says they even practice having joint command HQs! ground forces, navies and Air/Aerospace forces. Special operations forces are training (or even deployed) together.
This tension is now on a level where even long ago insults get payback. Examples, the US would not have Chinese crew on the International Space Station and now with the Chinese space station, modular and countries can come and hook up modules, the US is uninvited. The Chinese brought some moonrock and dust from their last investigation dark side of the moon, and the US request for some samples was rejected.
Our friend bwbs also reported on the last China sitrep. He is laughing because something that I predicted was announced just in the next few days .. the big bang on the head of the dollar.
/here-comes-china-brics-the-dollar-bite-power-common-prosperity-and-the-real-mao-zedong-story/
This fight needs a match or a duke called Ferdinand moment and it is on, on a kinetic level. It is not a comfort if one wants to sleep at night and the attempts at full-spectrum dominance are continuing from the US side with no true method of deflection of tension. Why do you think Mutti Angela is speaking soft words of good trade? She knows. The US/UK/Australia are too stupid to leave themselves space for deconfliction.
We’re approaching or we are in that moment where the hegemon must tumble, or stop its malign activities, or we’ll flip into kinetic war and I’m not at all trying to be alarmist here. Neither China nor Russia wants this. This Chinese Ambassador to the US is on a charm offensive trying madly to deconflict. The general feeling about that is OK, that’s sweet but it will take more than that to break the impasse .. relations are at a standstill.
Thanks so much for feedback.
I have rarely felt as gutted reading anything.
It is like a live viewing of the slide into the abyss.
And the majority of mankind has been blinkered to real events in motion.
As Auslander eloquently put it, God damn them to hell.
Yes, I suspected this.
So much has to be read between the lines.
The French are masters of diplomatic protocol in Europe since the Sun King, I forget the title but they had a small booklet all diplomats learned.
The niceties continue until the tone is abruptly changed.
I had thought Lavrov’s tone was similar throughout this year? He was sarcastic and biting several times in last 1/2 year.
But I agree.
Things appear to be coming to head now.
Yellen hinted at default in October.
The major creditor is China.
Ergo – did you see Mercouris’ last 2 sitreps!
And Russia mobilizing reservists?

Russia urgently calls up to 100 thousand BARS reservists
Why Russia is urgently forming a combat army reserve BARS?

MOSCOW, ($1=73.09 Russian Rubles) – In August 2021, the Russian Armed Forces began to urgently form a combat army reserve [BARS] from reservists, who are primarily called to the Armed Forces in an emergency [including when there is a threat of armed conflict]. In peacetime, BARS reservists will be trained at meetings, contacted, and paid for. What will BARS be and why it is being prepared so massively and urgently – let see.
The military enlistment offices and organizational and mobilization departments [WMD] of all military districts and the Northern Fleet of the Russian Armed Forces have begun urgent and mass recruitment of the mobilization human reserve [MRS] of law enforcement agencies, and first of all the Armed Forces. This is the first time this has been done in post-Soviet Russia. In a short period, it is planned to create BARS contingents from reservists who have signed contracts.
BARS is created by the decree of the President of the Russian Federation. Citizens of Russia who were in the reserve of the Armed Forces, who are suitable for health [categories A and B], education [not less than 9th grade], prof. psycho. suitable [1-3 categories], without convictions or not under investigation and not drug addicts.
First of all, these are those who have just served in the Armed Forces, Cossacks, security guards who graduated from military departments, and so on. Soldiers, sergeants, sergeants, and ensigns up to the age of 42, officers up to the age of 47, majors and lieutenants up to the age of 52, and colonels up to the age of 57 [and those with equivalent naval ranks] can sign a contract with the MoD.
The first contract is concluded for 3 years, the next – for 1-5 years. The reservists will be assigned to the units where they have to come to the meeting every month [up to 3 days] and where they will be engaged in military training.
Annually, reservists can be called to a long [up to 1 month] meeting, where they can be involved in training and other tasks [protection of military and state facilities, maintaining law and order, and eliminating the consequences of natural disasters]. Participation in all meetings is paid by the Ministry of Defense, with the preservation of the place of work and average earnings [the company is compensated]. The reservist will be reimbursed for travel expenses, rent, and travel expenses.
When concluding the first contract, reservists will receive a one-time payment [soldier-sergeant 18-39 thousand rubles., Officer – 34-66 thousand rubles.], Depending on the term of the contract. For participation in the meeting for 3 days, a sergeant-soldier will receive up to 5 thousand rubles, an officer – up to 10 thousand rubles., And for 30 days – a sergeant-soldier will receive up to 25 thousand rubles., An officer – 30-75 thousand rubles. . For a simple stay in BARS reservists will receive 12% of the salary of servicemen [for rank and position].
In total, the payment for the year for the colonel will be 156,540 rubles., Lieutenant – 120,865 rubles., Sergeant – 85,190 rubles., Private – 59,455 rubles. Reservists will receive social protection, as well as military personnel. They will be provided with uniforms, free meals, medical care, and insurance payments.
The total number of BARS according to the military commissar of Karelia, Colonel A. Artemyev – up to 100 thousand people. WMD and military registration and enlistment offices of all military districts and the Northern Fleet, as well as illegally – in the occupied Crimea and ORDLO launched the most active campaign to recruit reservists in BARS. On the resource http://www.youtube.com, there is a lot of information about the performances of military commissars of regions and cities of Russia, which advertise the service in BARS.
The largest contingent of BARS, according to the head of the WMD of the Southern VO, Colonel K. Zapatotsky, will be in this district [38 thousand people]. It follows that the Southern VO accounts for 38% of BARS reservists, and this suggests that this district is preparing to attack Ukraine.
According to official statements, BARS is intended for participation in exercises, protection of objects, maintenance of law and order, and liquidation of consequences of natural disasters. But the protection of facilities – the function of the territorial defense forces, maintaining law and order – the Rosguard, the elimination of the consequences of natural disasters – the Ministry of Emergencies. But to create BARS to duplicate their functions does not make sense. Remains involved in the exercises, but as whom?
To answer this question accurately, I had to watch many videos with speeches of military commissars, and in one of them Lieutenant Colonel A. Fedorov from the Irkutsk region it was said that the reservists at the meeting will be engaged in driving BMPs, tanks, firing from all types of weapons [ie combat training of all-military units, not territorial troops, Rosguard and MOE].
And in another video, Lieutenant Colonel V. Belan, a Spassk military officer, said that the reservists would replenish the combat units of the incompletely manned units to which they were assigned. And in the third video, the military commissar of Khakassia, Colonel A. Titov, mentioned the formation of a motorized rifle brigade.
In the RF Armed Forces, most divisions are not fully staffed. For example, in the Free Economic Zone, there is a lack of 1 general military regiment in 5 divisions, and in the Southern VO only 2 divisions have just begun to be formed, and some army formations are also missing.
BARS reservists are called upon to quickly complete these connections to the staff. That is why they are called – combat army reserve. But this becomes a secret, and only the chatter of the three military commissars allowed it to be revealed. However, the fact that this is a secret is a dangerous sign.
What is the reason for such haste in the acquisition of BARS in the Southern VO? The population of the districts of the district is over 26 million people. Of these, given low wages and unemployment in the North Caucasus, it is easy to recruit the right number of reservists. But the speed of formation of BARS is surprising. Only one month is allotted for the selection of personnel for the two armies. These are the norms of the Second World War.
Expert retired colonel V. Litovkin believes that this is due to the exercises “West-2021” because such exercises usually involve reservists. A similar version was expressed by columnist V. Mukhin and expert, retired captain of the 1st rank S. Ishchenko. It was reported that as part of these exercises, reservists have already been transferred to the Kaliningrad region. And the New Century telegram channel even suggested that this was due to the transfer of power in Afghanistan to the Taliban movement. Especially since the Southern VO is geographically close to the Afghan direction.
In turn, Russian military expert Alexander Goltz wrote in his column on the Republic website that such a sharp increase in the number of reservists can be explained by two goals – preparation for a major war and the transition to a contract army.
“The worst option for the creation of BARS is the possibility that the mobile reserves are hastily created, assuming to start large-scale hostilities in one and a half to two years. With all the consequences for the Russians,” Goltz wrote.
“The most optimistic, of course, is the assumption that the Russian authorities are preparing to make a gift to the people in 2-3 years [just before the presidential election] and cancel the compulsory conscription into the armed forces. If so, we can expect the revival of another initiative, which promised considerable relief of the army tax for at least some of our citizens,” said in his column.
Meanwhile, another Russian military expert, Viktor Murakhovsky, told the BBC that the project to increase the number of reservists was because the Ministry of Defense was able to find funds for it.
According to him, the experiment with the mobilization of the human reserve, which has been conducted since 2015, has given some experience. At the same time, the Russian military used the principle that underlies a similar American system in creating a contractual reserve.
“There is also an army reserve on the contract, and if necessary, they become the core of the deployment of units of the new formation, which must participate [in hostilities], in addition to the army that exists in the event of a large-scale conflict,” he said.
According to Murakhovsky, in Russia such a reserve does not exclude general mobilization, it will be its component, the nucleus around which new units will be created. At the same time, such a reserve, he said, also does not mean that Russia is moving to a contract army, as there may be problems during the deployment during military conflicts, Murakhovsky said.
Here is what the citizens of Russia wrote in the comments to the commercials of the military commissars, who called to serve in the BARS [spelling preserved]:
comments…
“Somewhere they are gathering this cannon fodder. Don’t be fooled when instead of training you find yourself somewhere in Tajikistan, in Syria or to suppress rallies against foam for 3 thousand a month”;
“Another scam, they don’t know how to keep those who left the army, but they left because of the lawlessness that is happening there. An adventure for people looking for adventure”;
“Let them look for ideological ones for such monetary satisfaction – I collect more metal on the construction site.”
But from personal experience – the author of this note had to participate in such meetings during the Soviet era. If the BARS meeting is organized similarly, the BARS reservists will remain completely unprepared for battle and incompetent. And the customs in the army do not change much.

Ominous report, old man. Thanks. I made a copy.
As for myself, since I have zero power to affect matters, and am, furthermore, loath to try to change the course of rivers when I don’t have any way to control outcome, I applaud the stupid cryptonazifacists’ policy of rule-by-vector-sum, as it guarantees incoherence and their own self-destruction.
So, with a draught on the bottle of “doctor K”, here’s my “take” (big lebowski) https://youtu.be/z-m9WgAdflY
In a related matter, I have no doubts that both VVP and Xi understand precisely that their opponent is the same as that which they fought in WW2. I doubt that they design to fail by half-measure.
Rome suicided the same way, a lack of virtue. Pity.
The following three excerpts are the ones you want to save. They tell a story that fits perfectly. 1)The United States is backing a joint Persian Gulf Arab and Israel alliance. 3)This gives the US Hundreds of Millions of Sunni Muslims as allies to use against Iran and the other usual suspects. 2) Tehran has expressed concern that certain conspiracies are afoot from outside to pit Sunnis against Iran in Afghanistan.
Now that is bad! It is all clear in these excerpts. I also believe the US is backing their demonic alliance with “Ghost Fleet Overlord”.

Report: US plans Arab-Israeli maritime unit in Persian Gulf for proxy missions
Saturday, 11 September 2021 10:31 AM [ Last Update: Saturday, 11 September 2021 12:34 PM ]
A new report says a recent decision by the US Navy’s 5th Fleet to launch a drone task force is a step towards the establishment of a joint maritime unit comprising Persian Gulf Arab countries and Israel for proxy missions in the region.
On Wednesday, the 5th Fleet based in Bahrain announced that it will launch the new task force that incorporates airborne, sailing and underwater drones after years of maritime attacks linked to ongoing tensions with Iran.
US Navy officials declined to identify which systems they would introduce from their headquarters in Bahrain, but said the coming months would see the drones stretch their capabilities across the region.
“We want to put more systems out in the maritime domain above, on and below the sea,” said Vice Adm. Brad Cooper, who leads the 5th Fleet. “We want more eyes on what’s happening out there.”
“These measures are in line with the launch of a joint maritime unit between Persian Gulf Arab countries and the Zionist regime. Using the equipment announced, the unit is supposed to play a role in proxy missions thanks to the support of the United States,” Iran’s Nour News agency wrote on Saturday.
“Successive failures in costly military campaigns in West Asia have led to a new US national security strategy, under which the American military focus in the region will change in favor of the development of presence in East Asia and the Chinese Sea,” it added.
According to the report, Washington is expected to hand over part of the missions of its military units in West Asia to Arab states and Israel to make its absence in West Asia and the Persian Gulf not conspicuous.
On September 1, the Tel Aviv regime officially moved into the US Central Command’s (CENTCOM) area of responsibility, taking over from the European Command (EUCOM).
Nour News said the move paved the way for Israel to design and implement evil acts in the region with the help of some of the Persian Gulf Arab states.

However, Iran will act with great restraint, its top priority being the stability of Afghanistan. Security considerations are uppermost in Iran’s calculus. Last week, Quds Force Commander Esmail Qaani personally briefed the Majlis, Iran’s parliament, in a closed-door session, sharing sensitive intelligence details regarding the security situation in Afghanistan.
Later, a Majlis spokesman told the media that Tehran has “complete knowledge” about the developments in Afghanistan and “we cannot be indifferent to these developments.” He added that General Qaani spoke “accurately, strongly” with relevant intelligence dossiers.
From time to time, reports have appeared that Qaani (who succeeded General Qasem Soleimani after he was killed in a US drone strike in Baghdad last year) has been Tehran’s point person on Afghanistan and kept good relations with Taliban leader Sirajuddin Haqqani.
Tehran has expressed concern that certain conspiracies are afoot from outside to pit Sunnis against Iran in Afghanistan. This appears to have been a veiled reference to the Arab countries that are active once again in Afghanistan, especially the United Arab Emirates (which is aligned with Israel) and Qatar.

Sunni Group Claiming to Represent Hundreds of Millions of Muslims Endorses Taliban Regime

What about he poetry of the 37. week in the soul-time of the year? Isn’t every time ‘soul time’? Yes, in private life it might be, but in the yearly seasons of the collective unconscious a third of the year belongs to the soul and her chances.
To perceive these times and their constellations consciously might give a broader view and a higher intensity of life, particularly in the second half of life, where the question of: what is the meaning, who am I, and what for I’m here? gains ever-increasing weight.

Unless Russia solves the problem of their elite having divided loyalties she will be finished. Can anyone imagine this situation under Stalin,or even in China today under Xi.This if true (and I have little doubt it is) is just shocking beyond belief:
A list of representatives of the Russian so-called “elite” has appeared on the Internet: members of the government, members of the Federation Council, deputies of the State Duma with passports of foreign states in their pockets. Needless to say, there are no citizens of “fraternal Venezuela” among them, but there are more than enough holders of “enemy” NATO passports. As they say, a State Duma deputy is a US citizen, but you are still a foreign agent …
It should also be added that this list is far from complete.

Well, of course, do not forget Putin’s dear friends and associates, most of whom, like the notorious Gennady (Gangrene) Timchenko, have passports of several states at once.
A simple Google search shows this was published on a site called “EvilState” back in Dec. 2019. Hence the repitition of the terminology above “Kremlin ideologists and propagandists:” I guess the fact that the blog compares Russia to “Mordor” should be an eye-opener. Would help us if you quote your more than questionable sources of this Russophobic blogger.
I don’t care what site first published this list. I got in off of a Russian friends FB page.It is making the rounds among Russians. The only important thing to gain from this list is that these people are part of the Russian elite and they have problematic at best divided loyalties. This is a huge fail for the Russian government and should have been fixed years ago. It’s no wonder the latest poll shown on RT had only 18% of the people supporting the current system and a full 49% saying they would better live under the old Soviet system. And that included 30% of the youth too young to have lived under the Soviet system. Its a shame that many of us here on this blog are more loyal to Russia than many of their own elite.
Uncle Bob, I thought all of this was completely outlawed when Putin purged and shuffled the Duma in January or February of 2020. When Medvedev resigned and was sidelined? Is this not perhaps old info?
It may be from before then, though some of the names I recognize as still current. I had hoped it was being solved then too.Hopefully it will be,since how can they trust people like that if they have divided loyalties. We can see in other countries how bad it is to allow people like that to have power in a country.
The ones associated with Montenegro and Cyprus are clearly would-be tax exiles, but it is the full British citizens who should give cause for concern as they are definitely part of the oligarch network in London which is entirely opposed to Russian autonomy. The Bulgarian ones aren’t important because most Bulgarians secretly hate the EU. They collect EU cheques but they will always be friends with Russia.

Thanks to the several friends. Yes, indeed, a list of Quislings Yes indeed, an entire constellation of dark forces a-building.
After the election abut to begin, and as the level of action increases we may expect as necessity dictates, a number of arrests in RU. I’d lay a bet on that down at “Stumpie’s Fine Liqueurs and Asbestos Paint”.
Previously I wrote “…no doubt that VVP and Xi…[understand precisely]
I ought to have evidenced the subtle, nearly daily, “telegraph messages”
Globaltimes cartoons usually tells us that they know all about the origin of the [not to be said]. They also say “Taiwan is ours, Mofo”.
Despite the daily repetition of nonsense at RT, the documentaries, especially “Fascism” https://youtu.be/nxNjyE65IS4 The documentaries telegraph the same thing.
Both say “we know”.
That they must prevail is self evident, res ipsa loquitur, so to say. The facts dictate that prevail mean arrests and trials of the aggressor persons.
That also is telegraphed by recent declassification of the germwar trials in the East, and of course the process of arrests by the colorized Red Flag in Berlin and the strategic alliance ‘tween Ru and Chine, with their several lesser allies – “zone B”
It’s rather an unpleasant prospect, but” thrilling”.
I’m sure that everybody know that power can be stored in several way. In electronic by magnetic field, and by capacitance. Thus see> https://news.mit.edu/2021/MIT-CFS-major-advance-toward-fusion-energy-0908
The superdooper high density magnet seem to yield up the possibility of storing great amounts of power – as in a classic spark coil, but far greater – and the matter of using that in machines that project power is probably just engineering.
MASERs pulsed by supermagnetic storage might be an interesting matter in this regard.
Of course they do expect to make commercial plants for more civilized purposes…but betcha the energy weapons get the dollars.
Some may recall that the previous nazi gang also developed wonderweapons, not that it did them any good. Two (or more!) can play at war.
