For those who are fond of Auslander, a brief word.
I’ve spoken with him two days ago. He’s still battling Covid, but improving. Considering his health situation he is doing battle well. He is isolated in a hospital room. No visitors. His only contact with his wife is by phone.
He intends to come out swinging with some of his views on the SMO when he gets back home and gathers his strength back.
When we speak, it is usually about half-hour.
He thanks all for their concern, prayers and well-wishes.
I would urge all who pray to keep him in your prayers.

Also, all the skakuas from the Maidan and other voluntary assistants of the Bandera government are disappearing – all sorts of public organizations like “Holy Maidan” there.
And it turns out that only former regionals remain, who since 2014 have joined the HLE.
We dare to assert that the entry of the former regionals into the new government will be an even greater mistake than if the Maidaun skakuas remain there.
Because it was the regionals who ruined the country and allowed the Maidan. And in this case, as one French Minister of Justice said: “This is worse than a crime – this is a mistake.” Those. incompetence (stupidity, stupidity) is worse than any crime or betrayal.
Therefore, if some regional Saldo is appointed in Kherson, and some regional Kivalov is appointed in Odessa, and some regional Dobkin is appointed in Kharkov (and, they won’t appoint him anymore, he himself merged under Bandera), then the rest of the regions of Ukraine will look to this they will say, why don’t we get such liberators who will put even bigger motherfuckers on our necks?
In the same Kherson region, it is necessary to put some kind of angel from heaven, fair and intelligent. And in no case should it be taken from the former regionals and maydauns, even if they change their shoes seven times in the air, like Kiva.

Russia says will rebuild Mariupol as an example..maybe assist in upgrading captured territories as it has vastly improved Crimean situation economy infrastructure etc ….but even if Ukr “surrenders”… security guarantees etc…could they only feel safe with a new iron curtain heavily militiarised protectively…or many prefer to stay in Russia….hmmm.

1. SMO in Ukraine – The AFU is all but defeated with small pockets of resistance left. The U.S.NATO syndicate delivers more weapons, intelligence and logistical support into the war however such attempts have failed to alter the course of Russia’s plan to rip our the roots of Nazism that has wrapped its maniacal tentacles tightly around Kiev as well as regional and local governments in the country.
2. The campaign to discredit the Russian Federation by way of economic and social sanctions is at most an annoyance. The reality is it has been a grand fiasco to cause severe injury to her people or lack of faith in the Kremlin’s ability to provide necessary governmental services.
3. Russian ingenuity has been a success with respect to the positive flow of economic revenue facilitated by domestic and international channels of commerce and maintaining its national currency valuation for trade settlement.
4. Despite the negative “diplomacy” emanating from the flaming peacocks in the United Nations, Russia retains its stature outside the U.S./EU/NATO sphere of influence as an ethical and noble State that respects the internal policies of other countries and is open to freedom of commerce.
Known Negative Factors:
Agents of the U.S. Military apparatus have facilitated:
1. The installation of missile platforms in close proximity to Russia.
2. Construction of laboratories for biological weapons development.
3. Space-based satellite reconnaissance data given to the AFU.
4. The murder of Russian POW’s that violates the Geneva Convention.
5. The successful destruction of property inside Russian sovereignty.
6. Forcing civilians as unwilling participants in combat that violates the Geneva Convention.
7. The sinking of the Moskova capital ship.
Unknown or Possible Negative Factors
Active Duty U.S. Military Personnel:
1. Engaged in direct combat against Russia.
2. In control of air, land, sea surface or subsurface assets against Russia.
3. Infect AFU POW’s with highly contagious bioweapon organisms.
4. Use U.S. assets to open a second front somewhere in Eastern Europe.
It cannot be over emphasized that a State of War exists between the United States of America and the Russian Federation. On the 90th day of this great conflict, Russia is going to pray for enlightenment and guidance to set the future course of action it must take.
In my opinion, if the U.S. makes a maneuver of a military nature that cannot be perceived as anything else but a overt attack on the Russian Federation then something will happen to seal its fate.

I rather expect that Tu 95 Bear and the more modern bombers would retain this ability. I’d also point out that automatic celestial navigation is used in some rockets, and rocket and missile weapons.. I can speculate, but I wonder what the facts are in practical terms. I would assume that RF bombers have the redundancy of celestial, and probably more or less automated with manual back-up. Seems like the Russian legacy of solid design would dictate this, but the zone A tendency to overdesign and make complex would have abandoned the old reliable methods…judging at least from the experience of USN anyway.

The US is certainly developing such systems for Naval vessels, and there’s no doubt that both China and Russia will have already made progress in this area.
The computational requirements are pretty trivial, and very accurate tables may be stored in not that much memory, so this is already an area where such systems are freely available for mobile ‘phone use!

My “expertise” in electronics more or less ends with vacuum tubes and analogue stuff, but I had heard a bit about automated celestial for flying machines. For surface system the optics seem to be much more difficult, atmospheric refraction and scatter and noise, and so on. As the pdf says, the surface application and INS go nicely together. More or less a very fancy and accurate dead-reckoning system – but not, presumably, immune to EW either airborne or surface.
My own prejudice is mechanical sextant, mechanical clock, with HF radio time signal correction, and paper with slide rule and ephemeris, again, on paper. It’s bullet-proof. In aircraft such as B52 and TU95 I do wonder if this solid approach is still followed as a backup. Actually that’s my primary matter of curiosity…not that it matters with respect to the gd war. Just the History as it flows.
Have fond memory of visiting Moss Landing shortly before they ended the Marine CW…those fellas could pound brass, copy several stations and engage them all while chatting over a copy of Sports Illustrated! Call me old timer…

Turkish air space has been closed to military and civilian planes carrying troops from Russia to Syria after consultation with Moscow, Turkey’s state broadcaster TRT Haber cited Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu as saying on Saturday.
NATO member Turkey has good relations with both Russia and Ukraine and has sought to mediate in the war between them.
“We closed airspace to Russia’s military planes and even to civilian planes going to Syria and carrying soldiers,” Cavusoglu was quoted as saying to reporters on a plane en route to Uruguay. He said permission had been given for three month periods until April, and then the flights stopped.
He said talks were continuing between Russia and Ukraine and the sides were working towards a draft joint declaration.
Cavusoglu said if progress is made in negotiations, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had agreed that a meeting could be held in Turkey.

Russia has a well-established military presence in Syria, with the ruling regime of President Bashar Assad being a close Moscow ally.
Regarding the ongoing war in Ukraine, Russia has said that they will be accepting volunteer fighters from Syria to aid in what Moscow calls a “special military operation.”

I have no reason to blush, because mainly reacted to the disappearance of several reactions to different subjects among which China, that apparently met an early death in the site’s waste basket, whilst no forbidden subjects or words were mentioned. This site is no longer the place it was years ago when I tried following Saker as much as work and leisure time allowed. Most changes of the site and attitudes of Saker himself as well as moderators appeared with the arrival of the minor health problem that can’t be discussed here, whilst millions have been badly hurt of simply died by the needle that was supposed to cure it.

But that is just on the surface. So, if you take a good look, and look at the quotes being used, you see that his information comes from the exiled Chinese billionaire (they say) with a few names. He is named Guo Wengui, Miles Kwok and Kwok Ho Wan. So, if you know that man, you would know that he is a Steve Bannon partner, who for the last three years ran the most vile anti-china radio shows – not hiding the fact that they are ginning up a war against China and the CeeeeeCeeeeePeeee.

Australia’s Defence Minister has doubled down on concerns China is a growing threat, claiming the nation could mount a chemical attack in the next four years.
Peter Dutton made the extraordinary admission during a wide-ranging interview with News Corp Australia. He claimed his fears over China’s military strength and strategic position were echoed by defence chiefs across the country.
“I think the circumstances are as dire as they were in the 1930s. I’m happy to present the facts … and then people can draw their own conclusions,” he said.
“We want a normalised peaceful relationship with every country, including China. But China has changed. And it’s going to take money to respond to that both in terms of additional personnel as well as investment in technologies and equipment.”
He added, Australia needed to maintain both its military and naval capacity to “be prepared for what a year ago would have been inconceivable”.
“It’s conceivable that there could be a chemical warfare attack on a capital city of one of our allies and so could you be drawn back into a conflict in the Middle East,” he said.
Tensions between China and the West have risen in recent times.
China’s militarisation of South-East Asia has been closely watched by Australian and US Defence departments. The BLA militants attacked the Chinese consulate in Karachi in 2018 and staged a suicide attack near the Gwadar Port in August 2021, injuring a Chinese national. It can be said that several serious terrorist attacks against Chinese citizens are linked to this group.
