The Cafe is now open for business … come on in and have a good time.
Saker Webmaster
I’ll use the Cafe again to pass on word about our dear friend and brother Auslander.
I spoke to him yesterday and he’s close to getting out of hospital. He sounded good. His attitude is strong and feisty. He deeply appreciates the prayers and kind wishes from the folks here at the Vineyard.
Things in the zone of Crimea are on high alert for saboteurs and terrorists. Soldiers guard the hospitals. Traffic moves slowly. He can hear missiles firing and planes coming and going. The peninsula and port are, of course, major military sites.
The attitude of Crimeans is the losses are dear but the war is a necessity to win overwhelmingly. These people were the first to fight against NATO when they rescued Krim and returned to Mother Russia.
Auslander is not yet ready to take his post, but he’s improving against Covid.
Keep him in your thoughts and prayers.
Glad to hear he’s getting better. I’m sure he’ll have a tale or two, would expect he’s seeing wounded returning from the front, odd as that sounds, cause he’s on the front.
Cheers M
From zone A but with love please tell him to take Ivermectin, Vitamin D (and plenty of it or sunshine ) and zink in small doses.
Website FLCCC. Front line covid critical care Dr’s. will give him all he needs to get back to normal if he has the Rona.
Have a blessed day to all who reads here and go President Putin, many in Zone A are pulling for you. There’ll be a knock at my door soon but Zone A needs a punch in the teeth and a kick in the balls.
thank larchmonter445. i continue to send auslander healing thoughts & pray for his recovery. i’ve had covid twice, & i am auslander’s age so i know fully the struggle & know recovery is possible. blessings to auslander & his family, & to you, larchmonter445, for keeping us posted.
Auslander remains on my prayer list. We, in our abode, pray and wish him best!
Doesn’t seem long enough to have been long covid or short enough to have been of the “normal” variety.
At this stage it therefore seems likely to have been, yet another, SARS-CoV-2 asymptomatic mis-diagnosis.
Having said that, it doesn’t really matter what Auslander thinks his problem really was I guess – just so long as he is getting better.
Old destructive troll again. Ignore please.
Destructive?
Not at all. Most people live a harmless blue pill existence.
I just wanted to add my 2 kopeks here, but not sure what to say.
Hoping and praying he does not let the hospital finish him, and that he escapes in time for next week’s ceremonies, and returns here with his account. I have missed him.
Read a report posted at moa, an Aluminum plant that was being used to store new weapons shipments and train Mercs. It’s gone, but the interesting part was hacking the med system to learn there were over 500 killed over 300 wounded out of approx 1500 personnel. Accordingly, lots of SAS and Brit Mercs. Love that smell, first thing in the morning……..
Cheers M
Where was the Aluminum plant and when exactly was it hit – yesterday?
“lots of SAS and Brit Mercs”
I’m surprised Russia doesn’t have more Brit POWs than those 2 it showed, given that there’s so many Brits involved.
The aluminium plant is in Zaporozhye, I read it first on anna news then cassad mentioned it. A warehouse where they were storing new weapons shipments and where housing mercs, mainly Brit trainers according to the report. Its a shame we don’t get regular battle accounts from the Orcs side, might be a tad embarrassing.
The one thing we don’t know, the west isn’t saying, and Ukraine is ‘mum’…..who and what Russia destroys at those training camps. Name, rank, serial number. By the sound of the squealing from the west, it’s beginning to add up.
Cheers M
I’d have posted the link but I am using a smart phone, unfortunately, it has a dumb operator.
Is it fair to say that since, as Lavrov and others have said (I paraphrase), the goal of this war is to break up the current world order and US hegemony, Russia is in this for the long haul and the length of time it takes to complete the operation is of much lower concern than other priorities? A corollary to this being that a longer war seems to have the benefit of increasing the decoupling between the West and Russia.
If American leaders would have allied with Russia after 1992, they would effectively have the most powerful bloc on the planet, to the point of easily neutralizing China. However, personal animosity (Nuland, Blinken, et. al.) and greed (Western oligarchs wanting to possess and control Russian resources) led to overreach and driving Russia into China’s arms. Russia, ostensibly aligned with China, still has to contemplate on Chinese designs regarding possession of everything east of The Ural Mountains. In the future, Chinese hypersonic missiles are more a threat to Russia, can reach anywhere in Russia within minutes; which is what future Russian leadership has to worry about.
Such is the stupidity and racism (traditional definition – discrimination based on nationality) and greed of American leadership, both political and business. No surprise given the Nazi roots of the State Department & CIA that has been ingrained in institutional culture since 1945 (Operation Paper Clip and recruitment of Nazis into CIA or supported by State Department). Such a Nazi culture within two US institutions responsible for foreign policy has led to such horrors as biological warfare experiments on the American public, MK Ultra, and other crimes. Resulting in American deaths on American soil.
The likes of Nuland & Blinken have a visceral, personal reasons to hate Russia. That has led to Ukraine mess today. They hate Russia for personal reasons. Also, Putin kicked them down after 1999, embarrassing The West’s “smartest and brightest”. That was when Western oligarchs used American governmental institutions to attempt to bind Russia with contracts and with international institutional rules (G7+1, WTO, etc). In order to loot Russia of wealth and natural resources. Putin removed Western lackey, Boris Yeltsin. Putting an end to Western oligarchy plans to divide and strip Russia of wealth.
Western oligarchs are a mix of personal (those that lost out in Russia after Putin collared them and their Russian collaborators) and business (having to play by Russian business rules). Koch Industries is interesting. Fred C. Koch made his money in The Soviet Union with Stalin. Stalin nationalized the assets of Fred Koch during WWII and refused to return the assets after. Fred Koch then helped found The Birch Society. Currently, Koch Industries has refused to pull out of Russia. Koch Industries supports The Tea Party in America using cutouts to provide bussing and organization to The Tea Party. Typical Western oligarchs who loyalty is to money and not the nation the succored & protected them and their wealth.
The “suicide” of Bill Colby (https://covertactionmagazine.com/2022/04/27/who-whacked-cia-spy-chief-william-colby/ ) dove-tails to the Policy that has led to the present foolish outcome. It seems that some quite determined people were ardently set on the suicide of cryptonazi west, though of course they didn’t realize that they themselves were mad. (“If American leaders would have allied with Russia after 1992, they would effectively have the most powerful bloc on the planet, to the point of easily neutralizing China.”)
But I wonder if the confrontational idea implicit in “neutralizing” would have worked… Russia and China are classical tellurocratic civilizations – they actually know how to run an empire, while the “west” is essential a non-civilization based on thalassocratic (that’s to say “piratical”) methods ultimately incompatible with stability.
It’s too bad that Colby’s ideas were not adopted though.
Like Sam Elliott said, “Sometimes you eat the bear, and sometimes the bear eats you.”
Good news re: Auslander. Wish him well.
Am halfway through his “Never the Last One” and hoping he gets out before I finish reading it.
Off on an online quest today.
MSM is spewing reports of a prisoner exchange between Russia and the Empire of Lies, a US Marine for a Russian drug dealer.
I call BS.
Why would Russia want a drug dealer returned?
And another mis-direction, this time about China going back to coal and foregoing emission targets. They’ve probably started installing modern CO2 capture equipment on all their new coal powered gen stations.
Will report what I find.
Maybe because Yaroshenko is innocent? US nabbed him in Liberia, and he claims it was a set-up.
It would not be the first time US+allies just arrest Russians here and there, to have as bargaining chips.
A difference between Yaroshenkos “drug dealing”, and Reed’s beating up an officer is that there is no proof of the “drug dealing” (only US “saying so” and “found” drugs), but witnesses and photo/video of the US marine beating up the officer.
(Another subject is how respective countries judge the punishment for crimes….)
Earthling 1,
Do enjoy the novel, it is long with plots that weave in and out right up to the very last page.
I spoke to Larchmonter couple days ago so he pretty much filled everyone in. I have no strength now, some days my wife has to help me stand. I was never a big man but I was a very strong man. With time the strength will return, at least some of it, but the worst side effect of covid is my eyesight, which has left me half blind. Sawbones says this, too, will pass, but let me tell you how much fun just writing this little bit was.
Dear Auslander,
Good to see you back at the vineyard – if brief.
My thoughts and prayers have been with you. I am glad you are on the mend. Please take care and let your body take its time to repair.
Hugs and see you back soon :)
Blessings! A rough go, but you’ll be fine.
welcome back dear Auslander. It is a pleasure to read these lines. To your health and to all recovering! Here’s balm for your eyes: scenes of Mariupol on the mend.
https://t.me/c/1394010098/3385
“Peaceful life returns to Mariupol.
The local Ministry of Emergency Situations has been formed and is recruiting employees who dismantle the rubble and clean the streets.
Sappers are everywhere, going around district after district.
Spontaneous markets are everywhere, merchants and villagers bring food and provisions to the city.
For about three hours during the day we did not hear any explosions. The regime of silence has been established for many days, and the delegations of the DPR / RF are negotiating with the nationalists on the territory of the Azovstal industrial zone.
There is hope that people will be released from there – primarily civilians, but also more than a thousand conscripts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who are being held by militants, preventing them from being taken prisoner.”
I hope you can make it to the May 9 Victory Day and that it will be held in Crimea. We look forward to your reports thereof as every year. There was great wisdom in making this the USSR and Russia’s most important solemn occasion; they knew the unfinished work of Act III was on the horizon. And here we are.
Regards,
hope you had massive vits and minerals etc injections…I wished I had. Best.

Macron left his officers to die in Mariupol
Russia regained control of Mariupol, Ukraine. It was discovered that 50 high-ranking French officers were being held at the Azovstal Metallurgical Plant. It was learned that Putin opened a safe corridor and Macron sent an order to ‘not surrender’ in the electoral race.
https://www.aydinlik.com.tr/haber/macron-subaylarini-mariupolde-olume-terk-etti-312526
From link:
“TWO RESCUE HELICOPTERS DROPED
Sources stated that France knew that its officers were besieged in the city of Mariupol and that they took initiatives to save them, “They tried to carry out a rescue operation with two helicopters. Both helicopters were shot down. One fell into the sea, the other near the Azovstal Iron and Steel Factory. It was understood that 2 people who lost their lives in the helicopter that crashed near the factory were French foreign intelligence officers. An intelligence officer in charge of electronic intelligence work.” they used the phrase.”
Why on earth would they do that ?
Macron doesn’t care for his countries electronic intelligence workers either ? Terrible world.
This was news from several days ago, and those helicopter shoot-downs were weeks ago. No info if these French are still alive or have come to the surface to try and surrender since then.
I see, it’s news from days ago, the shootdowns were weeks ago, and that Macron, Boris Johnson, ministers, other government heads, in the face of the the security networks, the organizations and employers of pilots, ordinance surveyors and electronic intelligence workers, looked the other way after they were sent on this mission requires no further mention. Well sorry, but those who have lost someone killed in action, or been involved in any way with this cold, farcical exercise as onlooker or otherwise may feel and think differently.
To be clear I should say if Macron was capable of ordering/approving the mission, then so were BJ and etc.

Mexican armed forces arrive at border taking aim at organized crime
For decades, Tijuana has been a battleground for rival cartels, looking to take over a direct route to transport drugs into the United States.
Mexican Army officials said Tuesday the new troops in Tijuana will focus on reducing homicides
BY WENDY FRY
APRIL 26, 2022 5:22 PM PT
TIJUANA — Special Forces personnel of the Mexican Army arrived Tuesday in Tijuana to combat organized crime and to target a specific list of criminals suspected of being behind a wave of violence.
For decades, Tijuana has been a battleground for rival cartels, looking to take over a direct route to transport drugs into the United States. In 2021, homicides in the border city dipped below 2,000 per year for the first time in several years. But March was among the most violent months of 2022, and so far in April at least 121 people have been killed.
For the first time, the Mexican Army has released a list of “most wanted” criminals.

For the first time, the Mexican Army on Tuesday released a list of 115 “most wanted” criminals, suspected of fueling the violence in the border region. Officials are hoping the public will help identify them and report the suspects’ whereabouts.
Among their targets is David López Jiménez, also known as “Cabo 20,” who is suspected by state prosecutors of being responsible for ordering the murder of Tijuana photojournalist Margarito Martínez Esquivel.
On Jan. 17, Martínez, 49, who covered crime and security issues in Tijuana, was shot to death outside his home as he left for work after lunch on the city’s troubled southside. Six days after Martínez’s slaying, another well-known Tijuana reporter, Lourdes Maldonado, was murdered outside her home. Two years earlier she had publicly told Mexico’s President Andrés Manuel López Obrador she feared for her life.
Three men were arrested on Feb. 9 in connection with Maldonado’s death. Three other individuals have been held over for trial in Baja California for allegedly murdering Martínez. Prosecutors say the group mistakenly believed Martínez was responsible for information published in Zeta, a investigative news weekly, and on social networks that exposed the network of Jiménez or “Cabo 20.”
For the first time, the Mexican Army has released a list of “most wanted” criminals.
The list of 115 suspected criminals is the target of a new Special Forces task force that arrived in Tijuana on Tuesday.(Mexican Army)
General Francisco Javier Hernández Almanza, Baja California state coordinator for the National Guard, said the 200 Special Forces soldiers who just arrived in the border city on Tuesday from central Mexico will join another 3,000 soldiers already deployed in the area to “strengthen the rule of law and the development of daily activities” in Tijuana.
The troops form a joint task force aimed at combating organized crime and preventing homicides. Members of local and state authorities, the Attorney General’s office, the National Guard and the the Secretary of National Defense (SEDENA) will also be a part of the task force, according to Almanza.
Almanza said the troops will be deployed to patrol dangerous neighborhoods and directed by investigators to specific addresses where criminal suspects may be located.
Local authorities can sometimes be out-gunned in Mexico by the cartel leaders they are attempting to catch. Almanza said the additional troops will also provide necessary back-up to Tijuana police, if necessary.
He stressed the group would remain committed to respecting the human rights of regular citizens, even while the border becomes more militarized.
“As Special Forces, they have many specialties in combat,” he said.
Lining up underneath a 50-meter-by-30-meter Mexican flag, the 200 newly-assigned troops presented an impressive display of force, but Almanza said other resources would still be needed to bring peace to Baja California. He mentioned the need for better technology to combat the high-tech capabilities of some criminal organizations.
According to an INEGI National Urban Public Security Survey of Baja California residents, an increase in the perception of insecurity was reflected in Baja California during the first quarter of the year. In Tijuana it increased as measured by the survey’s index from 76.4 in December 2021 to 81.4 in March 2022, exceeding Mexico’s national average by more than 15 points.
It is interesting (and possibly somewhat revealing) to see just how many of our friends and colleagues don’t have any form of portable radio.
Despite Australia having “a bit of a history” of natural disasters necessitating temporary relocation, very few people we know have even a basic portable radio; reason? why use such “old fashioned” tech when we can stream music on our smartphones.
I wonder if this deficiency is replicated elsewhere. If there IS a major attack on Australia, the mobile network will be one of the first targets, and having no other (reliable) communication reception means seems very short sighted indeed.
Just some thought about radio>
I am not clear on what is revealed,,,perhaps the seduction of many minds by distraction, perhaps the suspension of disbelief… At one time the motto “be prepared” was universally accepted as common sense, but perhaps this common sense has evaporated under siege by a vast pornography of “media”.
Searchterm “Baofeng radio” will reveal a host of handi-talkies that are cheap and many of which receive broadcast FM and AM MW, as well as some of the ITU designated amateur radio bands, and so on. Most (all?) will receive cop and other interesting radio comm. I got a nifty one for 25 US buckies. Sean and I once discussed this.
It is good idea to become familiar with relevant local law so far as radio, as these hand-helds are capable of transmitting…and a license (and some technical radio science) is really more or less prerequisite. Don’t want to get caught up in the mangle… No license? Don’t transmit, but in Oz I don’t know what curious laws may be.
I hear sheriff and police and dog (and cow)-catchers and railroad dispatch . Programming these radios may be a bit of an intellectual effort. A scanner is nice too, especially one that includes aircraft VHF, which is an AM signal…while most scanner traffic is FM…read the specifications.
I am not so sure how much value there is in official broadcast, but the cop traffic reveals a great deal here @ Anoxia. For example, murders are made public in “realtime”, as are gunfights, robberies, and cop chases…and even cop “stake-outs” …etc. Things one would never have otherwise been aware of. What I hear that’s especially interesting is that most cop time is spent dealing with the manifestations of poverty and dope, but it was quite trilling when a fella went a bit funny at the hospital and started shooting at the people and cars, then hijacked some poor gal and led the cops on a 100 mph chase the wrong way on the highway, popping rounds in the general direction of the cops. I was astonished that they didn’t shoot him. We have pretty good cops!
Two of these hand-helds and proper licensing for the 2 meter ham band would vastly increase options. There are 2 meter repeaters – even some linked to the ‘net, such that if one learns how, one may talk between, say, Alice Springs and Santa Monica…really astonishing capabilities…all require study. (There are more than just 2 meter band)
Simpler – the old “CB” AM 11 meter transceivers, and the old 102″ vertical. Redundancy, and some solar and a nice car battery (and a charge controller!!!)
In real emergency the HF bands are very useful for “NVIS” – especially good in mountains! “NVIS” means the signal goes nearly straight up, and bounces back from the heavens – making HF useful between two mountain valleys, where 2 meter or CB would not work, as these are more or less “line of sight”. NVIS works maybe 300 miles radius.
Check in with ARRL site and their magazine, they do reviews of new equipment and much more. http://arrl.org/ Lately they reviewed “Eton Elite Executive Portable Receiver”…kinda spendy, but quite nice.
Finally, to really track emergency communications, learn to copy Morse. http://aa9pw.com/ Is a fine tutorial site and with diligent effort for a few weeks and one can copy 15 wpm, which is a critical codespeed, as after that breakthrough it’s a smooth path to 25 +. (don’t worry about sending, just learn to hear the letters…a bit like learning to read…one day it comes together and you’ll hear words in the ditdah)
Find a local ham radio club and join it.
Ok, that’s thought about radio.
Morse code wow that takes me back Wonder if it could be hypnotized back out of my brain i was an MOS 05H (EW/SIGINT) dittybopper back in the 80s That charlie 15 hurdle is the big tough one but its true after that getting to 25wpm comes pretty easy Maybe i need to get back into it might be handy for when SHTF..? or who knows maybe for when Carrington 2.0 reminds zone A, B, LSMFT and everybody whos really the boss
As you know, CW is a basic skill, if it was my choice it’d be taught in elementary school, with rifle practice. W1AW sends code practice. http://arrl.org/w1aw By all means, get that CS up! And it’s fun, like public secrets. I well recall copying USN weather sent in crypto, for fun. These days (I hear) there is not a single ship in USN with key onboard. K
I learned code back in 67-68 at Ft Huachuca and I have to say that school was the most satisfying of the Army AIT that I did—-I did a radio teletype course and NSA course in Ft Gordon later. There was one teacher at the Ft Huachuca School that was just outstanding. Staff or master Sergeant…older I could receive about 28 wpm and send somewhat slower. I wish I had kept it up. It was one of my most satisfying accomplishments.
BLA threatens China with harsher attacks and wants them out of Pakistan
This post is a response to my previous post which I will put at end and shows connection between the US/Israel and the BLA.
Baloch Liberation Army threatens Beijing with ‘even harsher’ attacks unless China halts ‘exploitation projects’ in Pakistan.
27 Apr 2022
A Pakistan separatist group on Wednesday warned of more violent attacks on Chinese targets, a day after a suicide bomber killed three Chinese teachers posted from Beijing to the southern city of Karachi.
The Baloch Liberation Army claimed responsibility for the attack which killed three Chinese teachers and a Pakistani driver near the gate of the Confucius Institute at the University of Karachi.
A female bomber detonated explosives next to their minibus.
“Hundreds of highly trained male and female members of the Baloch Liberation Army’s Majeed Brigade are ready to carry out deadly attacks in any part of Balochistan and Pakistan,” a spokesman for the group, Jeeyand Baloch, said in a statement published in English.
The spokesman threatened Beijing with “even harsher” attacks unless China halts “exploitation projects” and “occupying of the Pakistani state”.
Chinese nationals and business and investment interests have regularly been targeted by separatists in Balochistan, where Beijing is involved in lucrative mining and energy projects. Baloch separatist fighters have been fighting for a greater share of their province’s natural resources for decades, mostly focusing attacks on natural gas projects, infrastructure and the security forces.
Pakistan blast
Police officers and crime scene unit gather near a passenger van, after a blast at the entrance of the Confucius Institute University of Karachi, Pakistan April 26, 2022 [Akhtar Soomro/Reuters]
In recent years the group has started attacking Chinese projects and workers.
A security official at the university said he had previously raised concerns about the safety of the 15 Chinese staff on the campus.
“Reports emerged in February that an attack might be carried out on campus,” the source, who asked not be named, told the AFP news agency.
The bomber was identified as 30-year-old Shaari Baloch, a married mother of an eight-year-old girl and four-year-old boy, the Baloch group said, adding that she was a science teacher studying for a master’s degree at the university.
Suicide attacks by women are very rare in Pakistan, reported only four times in recent years.
China’s Foreign Ministry has strongly condemned the attack on its nationals and has demanded Pakistan punish the perpetrators and prevent such incidents from happening again.
“Belt and Road”
Balochistan and its deep-water port in Gwadar are a major link in China’s Belt and Road network of infrastructure and energy projects stretching to the Middle East and beyond.
In April 2021, a suicide bomb attack at a luxury hotel hosting the Chinese ambassador in Quetta, the provincial capital of Balochistan, killed four and wounded dozens.
The ambassador was unhurt in that attack, which was claimed by the Pakistan Taliban.
In July last year, a bus carrying engineers to a construction site near a dam in northwestern Pakistan was hit by a bomb, killing 13 people including nine Chinese workers.
The attack, which went unclaimed, frayed relations between Islamabad and Beijing, and Pakistan later paid millions in compensation to the families of the Chinese workers killed.

“The blood of the Chinese people should not be shed in vain and those behind this incident will pay the price,” the ministry said.
The separatist terrorist group Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), which claimed responsibility for this incident, has repeatedly threatened to launch attacks on Chinese companies and citizens in Pakistan. The BLA militants attacked the Chinese consulate in Karachi in 2018 and staged a suicide attack near the Gwadar Port in August 2021, injuring a Chinese national. It can be said that several serious terrorist attacks against Chinese citizens are linked to this group.
It is worth noting that the Pakistani government has publicly said many times that the country’s violent terrorist forces and separatist movements have been infiltrated by international third-party forces. We must warn that either in or out of Pakistan, forces targeting Chinese nationals in attacks will be stricken the hardest.
https://www.globaltimes.cn/page/202204/1260441.shtml
Outside forces very possibly the US or Israel will be hit the hardest.
Note: Balochistan is strategically situated to attack US/Israel enemy Iran and a means to gain control of US coveted Gwadar port in Pakistan among other perks.
https://military-history.fandom.com/wiki/Balochistan_conflict#Alleged_Isreali_and_American_state_involvement
Iran has accused America of supporting Jundallah “for years.” America has denied the charge.[46]
Organizations
In the 1980s the CIA, the Iraqi Intelligence Service, Pakistani Sunni extremist group Sipah-e-Sahaba Pakistan and the Mujahedin e-Kalq supported a Baluchi tribal uprising against Iran.[2] A February 2011 article by Selig S. Harrison of the Center for International Policy has called for supporting “anti-Islamist forces” along the southern Arabian Sea coast including “Baluch insurgents fighting for independence from Pakistan” as a means of weakening the “rising tide of anti-American passion” in Pakistan and any alliance between Islamabad and Beijing — Pakistan having granted China access to a naval base at Gwadar.[69]
CIA memos reveal Israel posing its agents as American spies to recruit agents from Jundallah to carry out false flag operations against Iran.[66]
In February 2010 a Jundullah leader (Abdulmalek Rigi) captured by Iran alleged on Iranian TV “that the US had promised to provide” Jundullah “with military equipment and a base in Afghanistan, near the Iranian border” for its fight against Iran. Rigi did not mention assistance in fighting Pakistan (which Iran accuses of backing the Jundullah, according to the BBC). The US has denied links with Jundullah, and according to the BBC, “it is not possible” to determine whether Abdolmalek Rigi “made the statement freely or under duress.”[68]
U.S. war with China.
The U.S. through their proxy, BLA, has attacked China, make no mistake about that.
Balochistan is strategically situated between Iran and Pakistan with Pakistan’s Gwadar port as the long sought prize among other perks.
China has wasted no time in getting to Iran as seen below.

On April 27, Iranian President Rahi met with visiting Chinese State Councilor and Defense Minister Wei Fenghe in Tehran.
Leahy said that Iran and China share weal and woe, share similar positions in international affairs and support each other. The Iranian side opposes unilateralism, hegemonism and external interference, firmly supports the Chinese side in safeguarding its core interests, and thanks the Chinese side for its long-term support and assistance during the difficult period of Iran. It is hoped that the two sides will further expand cooperation fields and strengthen all-round cooperation including the military field. .
Wei Fenghe said that China and Iran are both ancient civilizations, and the traditional friendship has become stronger as time goes by. Since last year, President Xi Jinping and His Excellency the President have exchanged telephone calls and exchanged letters, leading the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries to achieve new progress. This visit is an important one against the background of the current turbulent international situation. It reflects the importance of China-Iran relations and the firm mutual support and joint progress. The Chinese side firmly supports the Iranian side in safeguarding its national sovereignty and national dignity, and is willing to unite and cooperate with the Iranian side to deal with various risks and challenges, safeguard the common interests of both sides, and jointly maintain regional and world peace and stability. In recent years, the areas of cooperation between the Chinese and Iranian militaries have been continuously expanded. The Chinese military is willing to maintain strategic communication with the Iranian side, make good use of the cooperation mechanism, and promote practical cooperation, so as to push the relationship between the two militaries to a higher level.
On the same day, Chief of General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Bagheri met with Wei Fenghe. Iranian Defense Minister Ashtiani held a welcome ceremony for Wei Fenghe and held formal talks. During the talks and meetings, the two sides exchanged in-depth views on the international and regional security situation, the Iranian nuclear issue, the situation in Ukraine, etc., and reached a number of consensuses on strengthening strategic communication between the two militaries, deepening exchanges between services and arms, joint exercises and training, personnel training and other practical cooperation. .

Hi Lodestar, these are indeed very important events! And your follow up later as well.
If you’re following it, I would much appreciate if you can send it to me in the form of a Sitrep so we can publish .. I find my own time for writing almost non-existent at this stage.
Cheers — and only if you would like to.
Once the devil has been given his final due,
What is to become of you?
No way out, but I cant pout.
Down to the last second, but there is somehow still plenty of time,
to rhyme, and climb, or sink or swim.
What will become of me after that day, I can not say.
But I do know, that before I go,
I will have outlasted the best of todays, and yesterdays, outlaws.
For it is they who quickly clean up the mess, to carry on with grace,
and not the haste of waste, that came before them.
Madeline Albright – is she dead again? Is this the Mandela effect because I thought she had been dead before.
Anyway:
The deaths of an estimated 500,000 Iraqi children resulting from US sanctions were “worth it.”
I trust she has gone to her death hearing the screams of these children.
She championed NATO’s 78-day bombing campaign against Serbia in 1999 and referred to pro-Serbian activists at a 2012 book-signing in Prague as “disgusting Serbs.”
She was later accused of war-profiteering, when a media report revealed that her investment firm was bidding for the proposed privatization of Kosovo’s telecommunications and postal services.
I hope she has left this earth fully and completely.
My bet is that the majority of the arms being shipped to Ukraine are being withheld in Western Ukraine, to transform Western Ukraine into a veritable armed bastion. Well, whatever weapons are not being siphoned off and sold on the black market. Relatively few weapons would be assigned to AFU units in Eastern Ukraine which has been under effective interdiction by RF forces for quite some time.
Any country that provides arms to Ukraine becomes a co-belligerent under international law. Meaning, they can be targeted. Russian leadership has wisely refrained from turning the war in Ukraine from a regional conflict into a far larger conflict that would completely disrupt the world in more ways than one. International law has become meaningless to Western oligarchs and their bought politicians.
Why not? If West want organised chaos, why not give them what they want.
One Kalibr missile in the middle of the next Nato meeting, a couple in the City of London, saying everything inside Gay7 promoting the killing of Russians is legal target.
It’s being billed in the West as the transformation of the Ukrainian Army.
Cheers M
Does anyone have any knowledge of the RF forces deploying Wagner group members? This has just come up in an argument. I cannot find anything in the MoD Russia telegram channel.

Angelo d’Orsi:
Every time I appear on screen or write an article, I am constantly accused of being a pro-Putin expert. In fact, I am just an intellectual who has been teaching history at the university for 40 years and who has spent the last 50 years in journalism and writing books. And I, the owner of all this professional baggage, are attacked just for trying to do analytical work. As Gramsci (the founder of the Italian Communist Party. – “RG”) said, a real intellectual should not take one position or another, but should be interested in getting to the bottom of the truth and being able to voice it. He shouldn’t care who benefits from the truth. I try to follow this principle. But, I assure you, every time I try to convey this very truth, another group of Ukrainians tries to shout me down, invited to talk shows. There were cases when they even tried to put physical pressure on me and hit me right during the recording of the program. Fortunately, the guards stopped them in time… In such a climate it is impossible to fully exist. A little more, and the hunt for the Russians and all those who support them will begin …
Biden mumbles it out … kleptocracy.
Remember when Trump stood up and announced that they killed General Suleimani. I won’t forget his words – He is a very bad man, Trump said.
Here, we hear those words again, but Biden being Biden, a lot more gets dropped at the end.
A poem poem by Yevgeny Yevtushenk. When did he write it ? Who knows…
“LOSS”
Russia has lost Russia in Russia.
Russia searches for itself
like a cut finger in snow,
a needle in a haystack,
like an old blind woman madly stretching her hand in fog,
searching with hopeless incantation
for her lost milk cow.
We buried our icons.
We didn’t believe in our own great books.
We fight only with alien grievances.
It is true that we didn’t survive under our own yoke,
becoming for ourselves worse than foreign enemies?
Is it true that we are doomed to live only in the silk
nightgowns of dreams, eaten by moths? —
Or in numbered prison robes?
Is it true that epilepsy is our national character?
Or convulsions of pride?
Or convulsions of self-humiliation?
Ancient rebellions against new copper kopecks,
against such foreign fruits as potatoes are
now only a harmless dream.
Today’s rebellion swamps the entire Kremlin
like a mortal tide —
Is it true that we Russians have only one unhappy choice?
The ghost of Tsar Ivan the Terrible?
Or the Ghost of Tsar Chaos?
So many impostors. Such “imposterity.”
Everyone is a leader, but no one leads.
We are confused as to which bannners and slogans to carry.
And such a fog in our hands
that everyone is wrong
and everyone guilty of something.
We already have walked enough in such a fog,
in blood up to our knees.
Lord, you’ve already punished us enough.
Forigve us, pity us.
Is it true that we no longer exist?
Or are we not yet born?
We are birthing now,
But it’s painful to be born again.
translated from the Russian by James Ragan and Yevgeny Yevtushenko
What a powerful piece of writing!
To my Western eyes it reads like a Celtic or Gaelic lament, as I was reading it my brain, unbidden, was creating the mournfulness of Scottish bagpipes or Irish whistle pipes in the background.
Not for the first time, I regret my lack of ability in understanding the Russian language, I would love to read this at source.
The “rasputitsa”, that is Russian for “roadless period” in spring, when nothing, absolutely nothing moves away from a hard surface road.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rasputitsa
The reason being the black earth. In the winter the frost reaches down 6 or 12 feet. In spring the surface thaws and when it rains the water has nowhere to go. The black earth is very soft when dry. You pick it up and it will trickle down between your fingers. It is the most fertile soil on earth. When it gets wet it turns into sludge. You step off the road and you sink in until you reach the frost layer. Until the frost deep down in the ground has thawed the water has nowhere to go and you cannot move anything off-road, not even walk.
In World War II when the rasputitsa was on all movement stopped. Now it is the same. It becomes very difficult to move on tracked vehicles or wheeled transport, though there’s a possibility of using off-roaders. Until the deep layer of frost has thawed there will be no large Russian offensive. For the Ukrainians it will be even worse as Russia has air superiority and now all they have to do is watch any hard surface road. So there will be no resupply for the Ukrainians, and no reinforcements if the rail network is dismantled. Whereas, the Russians can take their time to get everything into place for the next phase.
Here is a little snippet from WWII:
During World War II, the Soviet commander of the Voronezh Front, Filipp Ivanovich Golikov, when asked if there was any prospect of a Red Army counteroffensive reaching the Dnieper line by March 1943, replied, “It is 320 to 370 km to the Dnieper and 30 to 35 days to the spring rasputiza. Draw your own conclusion from this.” Once the Rasputiza is over things will get nasty just as they did in 1943. The problem is that the Ukrainians will be out of fuel, ammo and food before long.

– New materials regarding the 9/11 terror attack resurfaced following the Biden administration’s order to declassify evidence connected to the gruesome events.
A never-before-seen video showed the 9/11 hijackers and an alleged Saudi intelligence agent, according to a CBS News exclusive.
I am not making up this quote from Sputniknews. Here is proof:

If the fellas on the magic airplanes were responsible for the collapse of the buildings in NYC they must have been busy for weeks planting the demolition charges, then (we are told) these fellas took over airplanes and these fellas who couldn’t fly a Cessna, then flew better than most or all experienced professional pilots into the buildings shortly before their charges detonated. searchterm “Gelatin: The B Thing” .

IRGC warns Israel after missile strike on Mossad bases in Erbil
Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has issued a stern warning to Israel following a retaliatory missile strike on the “strategic center of Zionist conspiracy and evil” in northern Iraqi Kurdistan city of Erbil.
https://www.presstv.ir/Detail/2022/04/28/681122/Shamkhani-Mohammed-al-Halbousi-Iran-Iraq-parliament-US-Israel-threats
Note the Iraqi Kurdistan region hosts several American military installations and a US consulate in Erbil. Both the U.S. and the Mossad are in Erbil.
The BLA also looks to be a product of the US and Israel thus Iran is being attacked from Iraq and Balochistan by both countries.
I would assume this will prompt China and Iran to enhance aid to Russia behind the curtain. This being a small reminder of what is coming.

“While Europe and the international community are calling to end the war, the US continues to fan the flames and is ready to fight to the last Ukrainian.”
“The US continues to provide Ukraine with money and weapons. Its true goal is not to attain peace, but for the conflict to continue. As they themselves say, their goal is to weaken Russia.”
“As for whether the US brings peace or war, security or chaos, the world knows the answer to these questions.”

Here are a few tips on how to treat and better yet prevent all respiratory viral infection which I am astounded the world at large seems so ignorant of, and yes that would include anything I read coming from our beloved Russia. Of course nurturing one’s own immune system with diet and supplements should be daily regimen throughout ones’ life, common sense. Vitamin D supplementation is high on that list because people in these northern climes do not get enough sun exposure. That has to be accompanied by added K, to moderate the increased calcium. Then Zinc, but with the addition of Quercitin or EGCG, two natural substances that act like Ivermectin to get the zinc into the cell where it displaces the virus. Similarly most people, everywhere, are deficient Vitamin C, of which the body needs and uses large amounts daily for proper cell functioning, and ‘recommended’ levels of supplementation are way too low @ 1000 units per day, the average body needs 10,000. Same with Magnesium, most are deficient and several of the various forms should be taken daily. Read all about all of that in 3 magnificent easy to read books by Dr. Thomas Levy, 1) Rapid Virus Recovery 2) Magnesium Reversing Disease, and 3) Curing the Incurable, Vitamin C, Infectious Diseases, and Toxins.
But for direct effective treatment and prevention, the simplest, cheapest, most widely available on earth substance is Hydrogen Peroxide, H202, delivered via a Nebulizer. Hand held battery operated and rechargable nebulizers are cheap, could be easily provided en masse and etc. H202 delivered directly into the entirety of the respiratory system by inhaling through a simple small plastic mask, kills all bacteria and harmful bugs from the mouth cavity and nostrils and all passages down into the lungs, and will further positively effect the gastro intestinal microbiome by killing off the bad bacteria in the gut while not harming the good, it is a miraculous substance. Levy says it can be nebulized directly from the brown bottle, very inexpensive. Personally I use 35% food grade H202 diluted to 3% in a simple saline solution ( 2 teaspoons pink salt to 1 Qt. water ).
Reading Levy it is indisputable that many very effective Treatments in hospital settings are being withheld and ignored in the West, such as Intravenous delivery of Vitamin C and Magnesium, very effective, used widely in the first months of 2020 in China to gain control of the virus, and LOL prosecuted in the West if such methods are delivered. Ivermectin and other repurposed very Effective treatments are also prosecuted in the West, as obviously the intent is Intentional Genocide, thank you Dr. Fauci. Fluvoxamine, Hydoxychloroquine, and anti clonal anti bodies are others. Vaccines were never necessary or warranted, and were the Wrong approach from the very beginning. Getting healthy and just a little better informed would have done much more good, and still can, for their next round of lab invented Virus they sprinkle down on We the Cattle otherwise known in the States as We the People.
I was given Dexamethasone Remdesivir…Sotrovvimab4…Molnupiravir..
helped turn the corner.
Funny how an old Cafe exudes permanence albeit with the momentary wafting airs of intransience in a world where shifting changes, clamour and confusion renders all things meaningless and even that empty paper bag blowing up and down the street lacks the same ability to assume relevance, the hand that threw it away having achieved its sought after destruction unaware of how it it is trapped decorating a tree branch on the corner of the square now waving endlessly in the gusty wind and what an utterly wonderful world breaks out from around the corner transfiguring everything without a single table, chair or substance needed in the world for those who see it.

The Hollywood actress and UN goodwill ambassador Angelina Jolie was seen on the streets of Lviv in western Ukraine on Saturday. Although Jolie has worked with the UN Refugee Agency for years as an envoy, her spokesperson said that the trip to Ukraine was a “private humanitarian fact-finding mission focused on the needs of children.”
Angelina Jolie visits western Ukraine https://www.rt.com/pop-culture/554791-angelina-jolie-lviv-ukraine/
According to Sergey Zergulio Kolyasnikov @SergeyKolyasnikov –
“Ukraine is delighted: Angelina Jolie arrived in Lviv, Angelina Jolie communicates with refugees, Angelina Jolie simply came to a cafe – and so on.
Here you need to understand that Jolie is not just an actress, director, producer, fashion model, winner of an Oscar and other resounding awards. In 2001, she was named a Goodwill Ambassador for the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, and in 2005 she was awarded the UN Humanitarian Prize. In 2013, she received an honorary Oscar for her active volunteer humanitarian work.
Jolie was in Cambodia, in the Afghan refugee camp in Pakistan, in Sierra Leone and Tanzania, Kenya, Ecuador, Sudan, Kosovo, Angola, Sri Lanka, Iraqi refugee camp in Jordan, Namibia.
But since 2014, Angelina Jolie has not been able to visit the Donbass. In a busy schedule, there were not a few days to find out how the Ukronazis killed more than 15 thousand people, including hundreds of children.
But Jolie confidently supported Ukraine. And now, together with the Office of the UN High Commissioner, she is organizing assistance to Ukrainian refugees. With the same purpose, and came to Lviv.
What can I say? The humanitarian activities of Jolie and other Western “ambassadors of good will” and not only are the same hypocrisy as the statements of US and EU politicians on the topic of Ukraine all these eight years that the Russian genocide in Donbass continued.
2022 has taken off a lot of masks. And one of them is the humanitarian mask of Hollywood star Angelina Jolie, who in 2014, Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain, during a personal audience at Buckingham Palace, awarded the honorary title of cavalier lady for serving the interests of British foreign policy.
How fun it all came together. The UK is one of the main instigators of the conflict in Ukraine. And an honorary cavalry lady defending the interests of Great Britain in Lviv.”

But now we will definitely receive a new lectures on “human rights”.
and so, it continues….

For all my friends and comrades:
I am doing better every day. My sense of balance has not returned yet but with a cane I have no trouble walking now. For the first time in almost 10 years I will not be in Victory Day Parade. Normally my Willys is the first vehicle of Red Army Sevastopol at the end of Parade and I am the senior officer of same, my wife is normally in the Willys with me. This year I do not have the strength and she has decreed no dice. Only a fool irritates a Russian Lady and I am no fool.
On the other hand, our local and regional troops are fighting hard up north. This military district is organized as heavy infantry with sizable units of specialists,we are the armored fist of a division. Our officers and NCO’s tend to lead from the front so our casualties have not been light. All our troops are contract, no conscripts anywhere in the entire organization. Sadly the lists are longer every day.
We pray for our men and women serving every day, we pray for their safe return. Please join us in our prayers. I can not name the individual units, OpSec, but prayers for all our Russian soldiers in service will do well in my opinion.
Kindest regards to all,
Auslander
Do regain your full strength, vigour and health as soon as possible. We all look forward to your well being, and your informative comments.
May the cupboard not be dry with cures over there, best wishes.
Thank you for the report, Auslander. I have missed your account from over there.
Keep getting better — I shall not attempt to provide medical advice from halfway around the planet. You surely know what to do by now.
