I would like to see Trandinistria preserved in it’s current state. It is a living museum. Today’s people can go there for tourism and relive the seventies and eighties. These were inspirational times; life was simple but admirable and not every aspect of human existence finanialized and or digitized. People and nature living in harmony. PMR mustn’t be disrespected (even if reunited with Moldova). Tourists from around the globe travel there to experience a living example of post WW2 USSR / CCCP as it emerged and self-modernised from earlier phases / eras. CCCP was the great empire who liberated Berlin on 9th of May, 1945. Her history (good and bad) deserve respect.

I heard the same talk over a decade ago while in Moldova about how Transnistria could offer tourist experiences as a living museum of Communist times. I also preferred to speak Russian while in Moldova instead of Romanian. Did the same in Ukraine, Russian language before Ukrainian.
However, a little historical fact. Nazi Germany did invade Poland on Sept. 1st, 1939. With the Soviet Union invading on September 17th, 1939 to fulfill the secret protocols of the Molotov-Ribbentropp pact that divided Poland between Nazi Germany and The Soviet Union.

The secret protocol of The Molotov-Ribbentropp Pact was meant to give The Soviet Union enough time to prepare to invade the rest of Europe. Hitler and Nazi Germany acted first with Operation Barbarossa. Operation Barbarossa being the means for Hitler to pursue his racial war against Slavic populations which Hitler viewed as “sub-humans” (along with the Jews, Roma, Poles, etc.). The Holocaust, should Nazi Germany have defeated The Soviet Union, would have stretched well beyond The Jews. With Hitler expanded the death camps to exterminate the majority of Slavs.
The Soviet Union and Nazi Germany where uneasy allies preparing to backstab one another. The Soviet Union came as conquerors in Poland. Only becoming “liberators” after Operation Barbarossa. After 1945, Communist Governments were forced upon Eastern European nations after elections in Austria resulted in the overwhelming defeat of Communist candidates. Stalin reneged on the post-war deal of allowing free elections in other occupied territories, knowing the the majority would not accept Communism. The result was Winston Churchill promoted the “Iron Curtain” across Europe.
The mistake – if it is indeed a mistake – is that Westerners still view Russia through the lens of the past. Western leadership – through greed – is simply unwilling to accept that today’s Russians are not those of the former Soviet Union. A grave mistake on the part of Western leadership that imperils the world.
What good came out of the division of Europe after 1945? European countries (outside of Russia) prevented from starting another WWIII, which would have been fought with nuclear weapons. Every one should be tired of (Western and Central) Europeans starting wars. Yet, here we are again.
Lets not sugarcoat history, lest one ends up as Biden or Nuland or Blinken as propaganda agents. Propaganda, which is about all those three have left in the arsenal, regarding Ukraine.

And how is it that the agreements at Yalta were repudiated at Potsdam and in a domestic campaign of propaganda by Truman? I note that this latter matter (betrayal at Potsdam) is not mentioned in your commentary. I note that the designs of England and the US to turn the nazi armies against USSR in 1945 (thus “starting ww3) goes without mention – but yes these were not European Countries..(see Operation Unthinkable et sec).and I question the implication that WW2 was started by European Counties – as it was the British that created the promise to Poland, and declared war first… England, of course, is not a European Country.

According to the logic of the poster, Operation Z is an unfounded and unjust invasion which equivocates VVP with any war criminal US President. Similar comparisons (bet. USSR & Nazis) were equally silly for the generations immediately following ww2. Left out is a lot of context, esp. the conduct and danger of the “Hyena of Europe” (per Churchill), who has behaved as it behaves right now for the last millennia – a willing springboard for enemy invasions onto Russian lands. Recently, the 1940 evac of Dunkirk was wistfully on the lips of a cornered Azovstal rat.. thanks for highlighting additional motivations for that seminal moment in WW2. I thought it sufficient that Hitler gave the game away by not finishing off the trapped “enemy,” as well as the need to raise a magical British mythos deftly exploited by Churchill, but it makes sense that it was a stacked function operation. The British envy and hate few like the French. Imagine their chortling at leaving arms for their proxy to use to take France!

Thanks for the G2mil’s “The Anglo-American War on France.” The subplot of the Rape of France and its overseas territories is an inconvenient fact which doesn’t jive with the dashing heroic indivisible Allies narrative. So much for coming to save plucky little France. Key omissions usually tell the tale, as with the current MSM avoidance of mentioning LDNR fighters involved in the Donbas fighting. It might disturb the desired narrative.
A similar American contempt for the French was seen in many “liberating” GIs in France. They treated many worse than the Nazis. In addition to razing much of the land (and another top competitor Italy) like Raqqa, the honor of how many French girls were literally bought for the novelty of American bubble-gum (and chocolates, nylons, cigarettes)! Many saw the European campaign as a randy frolic, to take what was available, forcefully if needed. In youth I was acquainted with a married lady, married to a very respectable judge of supreme court of a US state. This lady was a girl in Vienna when the Red Army liberated Austria. She spoke of the rape allegations. She told me that these allegations were over-stated. There were rapes, but not many. The lady, who was beautiful, btw, was Jewish. She was not raped. I believe she was 16 when the Red Army arrived. The mayor of Vienna used to play pool with his Jewish pals, durch der krieg…according to her also Viennese husband. In the immediate post-war in the US it was a cliche to remark about the child prostitutes that US soldiers could use for a candy bar, mostly in Germany. Ran across a pure propaganda article on The Hill dot com where the headline titled ‘Evacuations from Mariupol steel plant underway’. The first sentence stated how “Ukraine is evacuating civilians…” from the Azovstal steel plant. Last time I checked, The Russian army controlled Mariupol and not the Ukrainians. Such is the level of idiocy by MSM in The West. Only at the bottom of the story is it hinted that The Russian military will not allow combatants to leave with civilians.

The many people I’ve talked to on the street here in America? Most seem to know they are being lied to by The MSM. They have stopped caring, having been convinced that know matter what… The United States Government will continue with disastrous policies and provocations in Ukraine. With inflation reducing their purchasing power, they are now more concerned with trying to afford to live in America, than with what is happening in Ukraine. Being oblivious to the fact that what is happening in Ukraine is eroding their purchasing power with inflation. Most Americans are whipped Americans, whipped by their own business and political leaders. No matter how much those sorts of Americans howl, they will have no effect on American leadership in changing the course of action.

The television show “Servant of the People” (the virtual) made people subconsciously believe that Zelensky was president and that they knew how he would behave… then the 2019 election (the real) allowed Zelensky to make the jump from the “virtual to the real” in a seamless transition.
If you are interested in things like the Trusted News Initiative and how the CIA/media is used to manipulate the people, I think you will get a lot out of the article and book. It is obviously what Victoria Nuland’s $5 billion dollars was spent on. We are dealing with a huge amount of preparation and intent here. IMHO
PS: The Gray Zone just got a cease and desist letter from the DHS, so I think they are getting to close to zeroing in on the truth.

I watched the TC segment. Generally, and heretofore generally in the satrapies, the demands such as he speaks of are followed by “special teams” who visit at night, as the Phoenix Program. As Rybar’s team learned, the United States and other Western “friends” of Ukraine are demanding that Lend-Lease costs be covered with food. First of all, we are talking about grains and oilseeds .
Actually, nothing else, except perhaps the organs of the remaining Ukrainians, in Kyiv will not be able to pay for the supply of military equipment. It is proposed to export grain and seeds through the port of Izmail and the ferry crossing Orlovka-Isakcha .
The fact is that Ukraine is one of the largest suppliers of grain in the world market. In 2021, its share in the world wheat market amounted to 10%, in volume terms – 51.2 million tons worth $12.5 billion. In 2020, it delivered about the same amount, but due to rising prices in the context of the pandemic, it earned 31% more.
According to estimates in the Office of the President, in 2022 Ukraine will be able to supply the West with 27-28 million tons of grains and legumes , as well as about 17 million tons of oilseeds .
❗️In this case, it will be possible to provide the western and part of the central regions of Ukraine with minimal food . The rest of the country is likely to experience a food crisis. For the famine in Odessa, Nikolaev, Kirovograd, Poltava, Sumy regions , it is proposed to lay responsibility on Russia . This will allow the Ukrainian authorities, and then the entire West, to launch an information campaign to promote Holodomor 2.0.
Back in early April, we already wrote that in Kiev they were deliberately disrupting the sowing campaign. This is done in order to ultimately blame Russia for the famine, popularize the brand “Ukraine is the breadbasket of Europe” and provoke panic in the food (and, as a result, the stock) market.
There is going to be plenty of panic to go around, but not so much in the Ukraine they say, they have a couple years of stock pile in wheat, if not able to export, it can be used locally while they patiently wait to be rearmed.
Such manipulated and coerced debt is “odious debt”. In addition, it can only be collected by force. Since it will be the Russian Federation that controls “force” when war aims are secured, this “lend-lease” debt is a legalistic fiction. It will never be paid, although, no doubt, any gold that AZE can get hold of will “evaporate”, and one may suppose that the fortunes of any escaped nazi quislings may be “expropriated”, probably without due process, ie stolen.

The world order created after the Second World War and the Cold War isn’t working anymore, so the West needs “a global NATO” to pursue geopolitics anew, UK Foreign Secretary Liz Truss argued, in a major foreign policy speech on Wednesday. Truss also urged the US-led bloc to send more “heavy weapons, tanks” and airplanes to Ukraine, and said China would face the same treatment as Russia if it doesn’t “play by the rules.”
“My vision is a world where free nations are assertive and in the ascendant. Where freedom and democracy are strengthened through a network of economic and security partnerships,”Truss said in a speech at a Mansion House banquet in London.
Dubbing this arrangement “the Network of Liberty,” Truss argued it was necessary because the economic and security structures developed after 1945 – such as the UN Security Council – “have been bent out of shape so far, they have enabled rather than contained aggression.”
“Geopolitics is back,” she announced.
The collective West and its allies need to supply Kiev with “heavy weapons, tanks, aeroplanes – digging deep into our inventories, ramping up production,” Truss said, because the objective is to “push Russia out of the whole of Ukraine” and rebuild the country along the lines of a new Marshall Plan.
The war in Ukraine is our war – it is everyone’s war because Ukraine’s victory is a strategic imperative for all of us.

Beyond that, NATO must ensure that “the Western Balkans and countries like Moldova and Georgia have the resilience and the capabilities to maintain their sovereignty and freedom,” and uphold the “sacrosanct” open-door policy, Truss said.
Her ambitions went beyond Europe, though, as Truss denounced the “false choice between Euro-Atlantic security and Indo-Pacific security.”
“In the modern world we need both. We need a global NATO,” she said. “And we must ensure that democracies like Taiwan are able to defend themselves.”
Pointing to London’s unprecedented effort to embargo Russia, Truss insisted that “economic access is no longer a given. It has to be earned,” and that countries who wish to earn it “must play by the rules. And that includes China.”
The UK has sent a large quantity of weapons systems to Ukraine over the past several months, including NLAW anti-tank missiles and Stormer armored vehicles. I just finished reading yet another article, (on another blog this time), on the proxy war and NATO expansion… where the author doused his analysis with outright mysogyny and homophobic attacks…lazy emotionalism and hate distorting an otherwise reasonable analysis. The editors found no problem with this it seems. I don’t kInow exactly why this was the case, but I can guess this kind of gutteral bigotry, hatred, dehumanization, misrepresentation, oversimplification and degradation of entire segments of humanity has become a sort of symbolic gesture of – I’m with ‘you’ and against ‘them’.
I think we are all aware that “identity politics”, in it’s most grotesque tokenistic sense is being utilized to put a ‘friendly’ face on genocide and modern imperialism and this has been the case for a long time.
