The Generals of the Pentagon were quoted as saying “The Russians did it. But we have NO facts to support that belief.” First we heard there were two fixed wing Russian planes dropping 20 bombs; then they became 2 helicopters doing the dirty work. Finally, a US predator drone with a welding torch in its nose was seen by the Russians.
There were no bomb craters in the area. Nor were there any shrapnel punctures from missiles or bombs. But the message from the Pentagon was loud and clear: If you don’t give us the ceasefire – and a halt to the Russian/Syrian momentum – we want, we, and our fawning media, will blame you for everything. We will even devise the most abominable war crimes imaginable and blame them on you. Without any proof whatsoever!
The next day Russia and Syria gave Obama their answer: and they hit the terrorists AND the moderate rebels like they hadn’t done since Russia began its air campaign a year a go. At the moment the US coalition is stymied, but you know they are plotting some egregious reply to the bombing of the good rebels.
This is where we are today. The only thing standing between these napalm dropping, white phosphorous firing, and depleted uranium-using liars and the rest of the world is V V Putin.
He’s the guy who plays chess while our CiC plays checkers.
The ,”Western powers”,the US,UK,and France (once again marching in lockstep). They have called a UNSC meeting for today. To “address” the increased “violence” in Aleppo (translation: The Syrians fighting against terrorists to liberate the city). Hopefully if they try a to get a ” UN Resolution” to stop the attacks on the terrorists,Russia and China (or at least one of them) will veto it. Otherwise we will see another 2011 Libya Resolution. Now is a time for firmness towards the “pardners”.
It may be the first move in US trying to put together a coalition of the killing to take on Russia in Syria?
MSM going full steam on nasty Russians bombing civilians ect.
All previous “ceasefilre” agreements come conveniently when the “moderate” terrorists were about to be eliminated. No doubt more such attempts at “ceasefire” will continue. I just hope Putin stop repeating the same dance.
The phrasing delegitimizes the Syrian Arab Army. Just a bunch of guys increasing the violence they are using towards each other. None of them has a legal entitlement to use force, let alone the exclusive entitlement to use force.
Vladimir, should say, The next cease fire in Syria, will be only after an UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER of all terrorists, or they total elimination with superior fire power ?? Nothing else will do ??
If this is correct Russia responded pretty promptly to the american treachery, and hey can’t even acknowledge it . LOL http://en.alalam.ir/news/1864011
I heard this account from a friend in diplomatic circles from a country in that region:
I was told that a group that splintered from the PLO back in the 80’s kidnapped and killed some Soviet operatives. The result was that the USSR sent in some of its own special forces with the result that after the capture by those Sov’s, the PLO leadership received several containers with more than a dozen heads of the offenders inside as a message to both the current leadership and any further ” adventurous ” types who would look to go their own way in the future.
I don’t doubt that there was a group in Syria coordinating with Moscow and acquiring targets within the hour of the strike on SAA troops.
Probably learned from mongos. Nothing surprising, or can not be deal with depend on stake of the game.
A good article here at Katehon

would’ve thought Dugin authored that one
In the picture, Putin playing chess against the errand boys.
Putin, Lavrov, Churkin, acting as a team, each with full control of their own sphere, along with military, intelligence, and other requirements for full spectrum warfare.
I suspect Lavrov managed to sell Kerry a bridge in their last round of negotiations. Though when he got home, Kerry thought – shit, what have I signed up to now? Deir Ezzor, and the aid convoy was the means of getting out of buying Lavrov’s bridge.
Panic is ruling the game. Confidence in the ability of US to deliver regime change in Syria is eroding fast. While the Middle-Eastern backers (who financed the US politicians and various mercenaries groups) were told that the next US administration would finish the job with Hillary at the helm, a certain Donald J. Trump popped up. The polls, the process rigging, the relentless MSM bias failed to convince the war financiers that the cat was in the bag. And the caricatural endorsement of Hillary by The President sounded like an eulogy. For these M-E financiers, the current situation looks like attending a shareholders meeting and being told of a possible hostile takeover, following a cratering share price.
Not sure they feel good about having to forfeit their previous investment or trying to bribe their way trough a much more expensive administration: “And Mecca sickos will pay for it…”. Not even sure that The Donald would even be remotely interested in continuing this madness.
Desperate people do desperate things. Hang on. We have not seen anything yet.
I think Deir Ezzor was the Pentagon’s black ball of Kerry’s ceasefire agreement. 1) so they could continue to rearm both the moderate rebels and the terrorist and 2) and to prevent the separation of the opposition from the terrorists. The Pentagon was quick to treat their apology of the ‘accidental’ massacre of 62 Syrian soldiers as if they had burned a hole in Assad’s sofa with their cigarette.
Two days later on Monday, to snuff out any more talk of the Coalition massacre, there was a raid on a relief convoy, unloading supplies at Aleppo. 18 trucks were burned and 20 workers and drivers were killed. The Western MSM, who had ignored the phony apology of the Pentagon about Deir Ezzor, was quick to lay the blame on Russia and Syria, as they had done about the gas attack at Ghouta and the downing MH17 over Donbas.
On Wednesday came — at least we learned about it then — Moscow’s ‘tit’ or riposte to Washington’s 2 ‘tats’. Moscow sent sent 3 Kalibr missiles from warships in the Mediterranean into a control center in the mountains of western Aleppo killing “30 Israeli and Western officers directing the terrorists’ attacks in Aleppo and Idlib”.
Of course, the Western Coalition will never admit that they lost a compliment of intelligence officers, so they didn’t even deny it happened. It went straight into the Memory Hole before it was published. (I saw nothing of it in the Western Gobbelsian media.)
And the army of Washington and Grant, without their company of intelligence officers was going to lie and trick their way to victory with their Propaganda Battalions and False Flags.
Sic Transit Gloria Home of the Brave.
How many more women and children were decimated at Hiroshima and Nagasaki than Aleppo as the Americans were winding down their 5 year war with the Japanese?
If the Americans and the Coalition are going to blubber about Russian war crimes, let me suggest to the Kremlin that there is no statute of limitations about any or all war crimes — whether the perpetrators are living or dead.
“International Criminal Court, located in The Hague, is the court of last resort for prosecution of genocide, war crimes, and crimes against humanity.”
Let’s adjudicate once and for all whether Hiroshima and Nagasaki were crimes against humanity. And determine whether the holiest, most egotistical and powerful people in history are also the most hypocritical and ruthless.
Churkin has just told the UNSC there would be no more ‘unilateral’ decisions taken by Syria – ie obedience to the Empire’s demands.
That also means Rus.
So, a warning.
Let’s see what level of escalation the Pantiesgone think they can get away with.
Their MSM bullhorns are failing dismally to convince even the largely indifferent US audience of any legitimacy.
They may very well decide to sacrifice a few servicemen in a false-flag scenario.
But that could result in blowback for them – within the military itself.
Let’s see how far the hubris goes.
Meanwhile, Rus will up the ante.
Someone posted a link to an article days ago.Which sadly, I forgot to save.It was from a US veterans/Special Forces magazine (not Veterans Today). That interviewed a US soldier “training moderate rebels” for fighting in Syria. He said the soldiers were disgusted. That they all knew the men they were training (and arming) were radical jihadis. And the US government was lying, pretending they were a “moderate” rebel force. When your own soldiers ,see for themselves you are lying.and the word spreads. There could (should) be trouble ahead.
This may take you to the original Uncle Bob 1 .https://mikeyy.org/2016/09/20/nobody-believes-in-it-everyone-on-the-ground-knows-they-are-jihadis-us-special-forces-hate-their-syria-mission/ ModPS
Thanks MOD. Yes,I remember now,I did first see the report on RI. And it shows pretty clearly, that no matter what lies the US public is told. The “boots on the ground”,aren’t “buying them”.Of course that alone won’t bring the regime to change its course. Soldiers, 9 out of 10 times will “obey”,no matter what they themselves think of an order. But still its one more heavy stone thrown against the regimes “walls”.
Re”Soldiers, 9 out of 10 times will “obey”,no matter what they themselves think of an order.”
it seems to me that hte issue of obeying orders is becoming a big problem.
Obeying orders is basic to military discipline.
Yet we have ASton Carter and this guy Harrigan in the Pentagon apparently going their own way, arguing with Obama/Kerry and actually undermining what the CinC wants. Isn’t this insubordination and treason?
Where is Truman when you need him?
Truman fired MacArthur for failing to obey orders.
Obama should do the same. A constitutional crisis over who is in charge might just do this country good. OTOH, it may be a useful precedent for the Pentagon and the SecDef to ignore the CinC, if Hillary gets in. OTOH, it might not be such a good idea if Trump gets in and wnats to wind things down with foreign adventures. But perhaps Trump would be less timid about saying: “You’re fired” to any cabinet members and bureaucrats in teh Executive Branch who don’t do what he tells them to do.
As for the grunts on the ground, it sounds like they are getting very confusing orders, there is no clear chain of command . . .Our military seems to have created its own little quagmire in the ME.
Katherine
Recently when Lavrov spoke about no more unilateral actions, he meant Russia and Syria would no longer act in accordance with ceasefire agreements that the coalition, the nice rebels and the terrorists did not abide by.
Two edits “…..UN trucks were torched by forces unknown…..” [Wrong! The whole world knows where this originated.
And …..We will even devise the most abominable war crimes imaginable….. should read, “We will COMMIT….” (because we are the world’s experts in “abominables”).
Just want to put in a good word for Putin and his strike of the enemy operations room by 3 Kalibr missiles launched from the Mediterranean Sea. A military operations room which was located in the Western part of Aleppo province in the middle of sky-high Sam’an mountain and old caves. A region deep into a chain of mountains.
I have gone so far as to picture these missiles weaving around mountain peaks and over mountain passes like those CGI fighters in Star Wars until their second stage kicks in and “performs a supersonic sprint in the terminal approach to the target, reducing the time that target’s defense systems have to react.”
Oh, my. Isn’t that something?
