Description:
In a speech on the Islamic occasion of Ashura delivered hours ago, Hezbollah’s leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah announced that a ship loaded with much needed fuel will set sail from Iran to Beirut in a matter of hours.
In a direct warning to the Americans and the Israelis, Nasrallah said that from the moment the ship sets sail from Iran, his movement will consider the ship as “Lebanese territory”.
Below is a translation of breaking news items from Al-Manar TV’s website with regards to Nasrallah’s comments.

Transcript:
Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, Hezbollah’s Secretary General:
– I announce that our first ship is completely ready, and will set from Iran within hours with the blessings of (Imam) al-Husayn to Lebanon
– This ship will be followed by another ship and other ships i.e. (what I’m announcing today) is not limited to one ship
– (Nasrallah to the Americans and Israelis): From the moment this Iranian ship sets sail (from Iran), we will consider (the ship) as Lebanese territory
– We are a people who will never allow our people to be humiliated
– Let no one make the mistake of entering into a challenge with us, because the matter has become linked to the dignity of our people, and we will never allow our people to be humiliated
– We extend our gratitude and appreciation to Ayatollah (Sayyed Ali) Khamenei and the Iranian President (Ibrahim Raisi) for their permanent support for Lebanon
– We thank Iran for its permanent support for the people of Lebanon, as well as for the resistance, (which enabled us) to liberate our land and repel (all forms of) aggression
– The severed hand of the martyr Qassim Soleimani (that laid) on the grounds of Baghdad Airport is a powerful witness (to the reality) that Iran never abandons its friends
First the fingerprints of Iran and trucks carrying hundreds of tons of aid to liberated Afghanistan, and now an Iranian ship on a rescue mission to fuel-starved Lebanon. Looks like the ghost of General Soleimani has come back to haunt his assassins.
Note the advance warning against attempts by rogue states to interfere with freedom of the seas. Similar to the very effective advance notice Iran gave to POTU$A Trump, warning him exactly which buildings in which U$ base they were going to hit in retribution. There is nothing sneaky about this Iranian move to help Lebanon. All credit is due to the Rev.Nasr’Allah: he recommended months ago that, in order to save foreign currency, Lebanon ought to buy oil from Iran because Iran does not demand payment in U$ petrodollar $.
How long does it take for a tanker to sail from Iran to Lebanon?
Antoinetta III
The tankers will be at the Beirut port very shortly. They have been prepared, and standing by, since a couple of weeks ago, when the Iranians attacked the Israeli tanker, and made it look like an Israeli false flag.
The real question is, will the Israelis do anything about it?
To Larchmonter and others who boast of the ‘Hegemon’s’ power, watch carefully as Israel and the US are exposed to the whole world as powerless wretches.
If Israel tries to stop the tanker, they will be confronted with Nasrallah’s “regional equation”, ie. the militaristic equivalent of gang rape.
If Israel makes no attempt to stop it, they might as well grab a shovel and start digging their own grave.
Interesting question, why a sea tanker? The route for land tankers to Lebanon via Iraq and Syria is much shorter. The sea route from Iran to Lebanon is long and tortuous. The tanker would need to pass through 3 strait-points (Hormuz, Mandl and Suez). Also approach Israel twice. The opportunities for piracy by rogue states along this route are many and obvious. No secret mission here; just long plain sailing in internationally recognized waters. This is a test of Law of the Sea; pirate states can take it as practically a declaration of war.
For years already, I consider Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah as one of the most intelligent leader of the ME.
Much could be said and asked. There is a mentioning of ‘fuel’, what is that? Lebanon needs diesel and gasoline, when it is oil first it has to be refined.
There are good reasons to sail it by sea and not by land. A convoy of tank trucks might be too vulnerable. And who says that the tanker is unaccompanied? It might be a trip of 2, maybe 3 weeks. All attention is on Afghanistan and the USA has a bloody nose.
Lebanon and Hezbollah are under large pressure, and especially Hezbollah may need a success. It is smart to declare the tanker ‘Lebanese territory’, that might exclude some SAS raid as they did in Gibraltar when a tanker was heading for Syria.
A good description about the situation concerning Lebanon, Iran and Hezbollah can be found in this article of Elijah J. Magnier: https://ejmagnier.com/2021/08/19/lebanon-is-under-maximum-pressure-and-the-target-is-hezbollah-iran-sends-its-support/
(Reading this article might feed the suspicion that the JCPOA negotiations are as dead as a doornail)
Cheers, Rob
That article is clearly propaganda.
There is no mention in it of the US offer to provide gas and electricity to Lebanon from Egypt via Jordan.
https://www.egypttoday.com/Article/1/107071/Egypt-to-export-gas-to-Jordan-to-secure-electricity-for
“CAIRO – 19 August 2021: Cairo will send Egyptian natural gas to Jordan so that it can produce extra quantities of electricity and add them to the grid linking Jordan with Lebanon via Syria, a statement by the Lebanese Presidency revealed.”
This was the US response to Iran sending fuel to Lebanon.
The first Iranian tanker contains fuel oil, btw, for electrical power plants.
The US feels threatened. If it didn’t feel threatened, it would not have offered electricity to Lebanon. It would have left the situation to deteriorate further, because it would know that Iran and Hezbollah are not powerful enough to take control of the situation.
We will see if Iran and Hezbollah can bring order back to Lebanon. Let the US and Israel apply their maximum pressure for chaos.
The US move to ‘arrange’ electricity for Lebanon via Egypt-Jordan-Syria is being mocked and ridiculed by everyone, and even by American allies in Lebanon. ANY Lebanese citizen can confirm this. This move also exposed the absurd LIE that US and its tools in Lebanon had been propagandising since the beginning of this crisis: that Hezbollah is – one way of another (eg by smuggling fuel to Syria, a great absurdity in itself!) – the reason that there is a fuel crisis in the country, and NOT the US. Even Saad Hariri shamefully repeated this scandalous and baseless lie right after Sayyed Nasrallah’s announcement. Now the Lebanese people, even from Hariri’s supporters and allies, are addressing the US ambassador in Lebanon and saying: ‘wont you telling us that this crisis was being caused by Hezbollah? We were on the brink of total social and economic collapse!!! Now, with just a click of a finger, and coincidentally after Nasrallah announced that Iranian fuel was on its way, only NOW did you act and propose electricity from Egypt and Jordan via Syria??!!!! So, from the very beginning, it was you O’ US of A that was besieging Lebanon and causing this crisis, and not anybody else!!’.
In any case, anybody with a basic level of understanding of internal Lebanese affairs knows what Ive described above is the reality of the matter.
Thank you Hussein. It is heartening to hear that the Lebanese people are finally waking up to the truth.
Hezbollah and Iran want peace, order, stability and prosperity in the region, for Lebanese, Syrian, Iraqi, Yemeni, and Iranian alike.
The US and Israel want war, chaos, instability and poverty for us in the region.
In the end, what is guaranteed is that Israel will receive what it is dishing out. Iran and Hezbollah, and many others, will give the Jews the war and chaos and poverty which they seek, as a goodbye present.
I see starving, emaciated Jews, getting on trains and buses back to Europe, or Russia, or wherever they came from, while the natives of Palestine throw rotten fruits and vegetables at them, with armed Hezbollah, IRGC, and others escorting the wretches onto the buses back ‘home’.
That is how they will leave: in shame, and destitute, with nothing but the clothes on their back. Which would be quite ironic, considering how they returned to their land from Babylonian captivity circa 500 BC, with their pockets full of coin, and as much valuables as they could carry, courtesy of their Messiah, Cyrus.
And didn’t Yahweh promise the natives of the ‘promised land’ that they would one day live in great cities that they themselves did not build? That day is not far off now.
The Jews built a lovely country, for the Palestinians. It is only fair that the Palestinians inherit it, what with all they’ve been through.
The Palestinians are the ones that have kept God’s Covenant with Abraham and Moses, after all. Is there a commandment that the Israelis don’t break on a daily basis?
Don’t you mean the Israelis will send Palestinian gas to Egypt which will then Rube Goldberg it to Lebanon making Lebanon dependent on the Zionists? How stupid do you think the Lebanese people are? If the US actually wants to help get out of the way and let Lebanon develop it’s oil fields instead of trying to help Israel steal it.
