Transcript:(Note: the following are not direct quotes, but translations of breaking news items)
Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, Hezbollah’s Secretary General:
– So as not to embarrass the Lebanese government (and certain parties), we went for the second option, which is sending the (Iranian fuel) ship to the Syrian Baniyas Port, and Syria (who accepted receiving the ship) has facilitated (the ship’s) movement at the Baniyas Port and secured fuel tanks for the transportation process of the oil derivatives (across the Lebanese-Syrian border).
– Our sincere thanks goes to the Syrian leadership for their support and facilitation (of the process), and their understanding and contribution to the success of this step so far and for the next stages (as well).
– The first ship arrived at the Baniyas Port, Sunday night at 2:30 a.m., and the unloading of its cargo will be finished today (Monday), and the transfer of this material is supposed to begin this Thursday to specific reservoirs in the Baalbek region (in Lebanon), from where it will be distributed to the rest of the regions of Lebanon
– There were some (sides who) considered (i.e. framed) our promise to import oil derivatives from Iran as mere media talk, (which is) an effort that has failed.
– The existing deterrence equation (imposed by Hezbollah that protects) Lebanon, (also protects) the fuel ships and allowed the safe arrival of the first ship and (will ensure) the other ships (arrive safely too God willing).
– The ship that arrived carries diesel oil and the second ship that will arrive in a few days to Baniyas Port will be carrying diesel too.
– All the administrative prerequisites have been completed to begin the transport of the third ship (from Iran), which will be carrying gasoline (petrol).
-The fourth ship, which will be sent later, will carry diesel due to the coming winter seasons
– As for the method of delivery, we have adopted the following mechanism: for one month, starting September 16 till October 16, oil derivatives will be made available as donations to the following entities (in Lebanon): public hospitals, retirement homes (for the elderly), orphanages, special needs facilities, water institutions, and (poor) municipalities (local government councils) that use water wells.
– Civil Defence regiments and the Lebanese Red Cross will be receiving (diesel in the form of) donations too.
– A month after the arrival of the first ship, (the second category to be provided with diesel) will be pharmaceutical factories, serum laboratories, bakeries, (local) markets/shopping centres, as well as private power companies providing people with electricity through (private) power generators.
– In selling oil derivatives for private power companies at a price lower than the cost, we will reach an agreement to (ensure) the lowering of the (currently) exaggerated (artificially inflated) prices that are set for citizens.
– Our (great) concern is that the diesel oil is utilised for the sake of easing the suffering of the Lebanese people and (not to be sold) in the black market.
– We stress that the oil derivatives will be sold at less than the cost price, and we will consider the losses as an aid and gift from the Islamic Republic of Iran and Hezbollah.
– The main focus in terms of distributing (the diesel to Lebanese organisations/entites) will primarily occur via the US-sanctioned Al-Amanah Company (since it is already sanctioned!), while other (distribution) companies will be considered later on.
– My advice to the new government – which would not want (to bear the consequences of) lifting (government) subsidies – is to ensure that subsidised oil derivatives reach the citizens so that traders and monopolists won’t monopolise and sell them at (higher) new prices next month.
– Initially we (Hezbollah) were able to organise a a convoy of ships (from Iran), but we did not want to provoke (and antagonise) anybody because our goal is to alleviate (the Lebanese people’s) suffering, and so we used minimum media coverage in order to allow the process to actualise and achieve its intended purpose.
– We must thank the Islamic Republic of Iran, the leader Imam Khamenei (may his life be prolonged), President Ibrahim Raisi, and the Iranian officials.
– We thank Syria’s leadership and government for the facilitation, understanding, and cooperation it has shown and will show during the next stage.
– One of the blessings of this course (of organising fuel shipments from Iran), was that it opened new doors, especially after the immediate American actions following our move (i.e. suddenly allowing Lebanese officials to meet some of Lebanon’s electricity needs from Egypt & Jordan via Syria)
– We welcomed the visit of the official Lebanese delegation to Syria, and (thank Syria’s government) for handling the situation with openness and love despite the delicacy of the matter.
– Iraqi fuel is supposed to arrive soon by the end of September (too), which will (contribute to) alleviating (the Lebanese) people’s suffering, and we reiterate our thanks to the Iraqi government for their efforts.
I questioned why our translators chose to keep us up to date on these detailed descriptions of the oil ships and the movement of the now landed oil in the country. See for example this sentence:
“So as not to embarrass the Lebanese government (and certain parties), we went for the second option, which is sending the (Iranian fuel) ship to the Syrian Baniyas Port, and Syria (who accepted receiving the ship) has facilitated (the ship’s) movement at the Baniyas Port and secured fuel tanks for the transportation process of the oil derivatives (across the Lebanese-Syrian border).”
Then I came across an article from Thierry Meyssan – https://www.voltairenet.org/article213966.html – explaining the hopeless complications within Lebanon. I am not adding this to discuss, as your mileage on his thesis may very, but to explain to those that do not know, how distribution in the country is snafu’d.
” …. the division of power in the administration is between three super-communities, but not equally so: 50 per cent Christian, 30 per cent Shia and 20 per cent Sunni. However, the composition of the population has not stopped changing since the civil war of the 1980s. Today, as far as we know, the Christians are only 20%, the Sunnis 35% and the Shiites 45%. The President of the Republic, the Christian General Michel Aoun, defends his “prerogatives” tooth and nail, i.e. the historical domination of his community over the others.”
and
“The Lebanese have built a system of corruption that bears no relation to what exists elsewhere. The various leaders of the 17 confessional communities get along very well to collectively extort as much money as possible from their respective protectors. Then they more or less redistribute this money to their base. For example, if you want to build a big infrastructure, you usually have to pay bribes to compensate the people whose rights you are violating or the officials who are responsible for enforcing local laws. Not in Lebanon. In Lebanon, in order to help one community, you have to compensate the other 16 for not helping them. Each aid has to be paid twice: once to the recipient, and once to the 16 leaders of the other faith communities. This works as long as the outside powers are embroiled in their rivalries but becomes tragic if they also agree among themselves. Suddenly, there is no money at all.”
Suddenly the detailed explanations of the issue made more sense to me on a local level, and not only on a geo-political sanctions level.
When the Israeli tanker “Mercer Street” was attacked a little while back, it seemed obvious to many that the Israelis had conducted a false flag attack, in order to justify then attacking the Iranian tankers heading for Lebanon.
According to every Western media outlet, Iran carried out the attack. The Israelis even complained to the UN about it. So, the stage was set for the Jews to violate this tanker that brought fuel for Lebanon, in retaliation for Iranian aggression, and it would have been “justified”.
Why didn’t the Jews attack this tanker, then? They had a long-term plan to crush Lebanon, and they were almost there. It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that this tanker full of fuel oil, singlehandedly unravelled the entire US-Israeli plan for Lebanon. So, what happened?
First of all, the attack on the “Mercer Street” was not an Israeli false flag. The attack was the work of the Syrians, using Iranian drones, as retaliation for Israeli attacks on Syrian tankers.
The timing of the attack was chosen, a few weeks before the Iranian tankers set sail for Lebanon, to make a point.
The point is: “We attacked your tanker, and the entire western media stated as much. Now, go ahead and attack our tanker.”
The point is, maximum humiliation and psychological damage to the Jews.
But let’s stick with the ‘mainstream’ analysis on this blog, wherein it was the Israelis who attacked their own tanker. There has been talk of Iran sending fuel to Lebanon for months now, and the decision to finally go through with it was made right around the time the Israeli tanker was attacked, and that decision was publicly announced a short while after said attack.
Clearly, based on this analysis, the Israeli false flag was setting the stage for ‘retaliation’, aimed at the Iranian tankers. So, why didn’t they retaliate? Why plan ahead and set the stage, only to change your mind at the last minute?
When the Israelis allegedly blew up the Mercer Street, they would have been aware that violating the Iranian tankers heading for Lebanon, would have consequences. So, they must have thought that those consequences were acceptable, which is why they decided to go through with their plan, ie. attacking their own tanker, to then justify attacking the Iranian tanker.
As far as I am aware, nothing changed in terms of facts on the ground, between the attack on the Mercer Street and the arrival of this tanker at Baniyas. So, why didn’t the Israelis attack the tanker?
And meanwhile, Aljazeera, and other Western media rags, were all publishing articles about how Israel has “accelerated its plans to strike Iran” — just last week.
https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2021/9/7/israels-military-chief-says-accelerating-iran-strike-plans
Strike Iran? How about you strike the tanker, which you are totally justified to strike.
The Palestinians are in a state of open revolt, all over Israel right now. There are clashes happening every night. And while the Jews have recaptured 4 of the 6 escaped prisoners, 2 are still at large, and the damage has already been done. The Palestinians are all going nuts, heartened and encouraged by the legendary prison break — which was a great feat, even by Michael Scofield’s standards.
The Israelis can’t even manage their own country, which could erupt into another Sword of Jerusalem style civil war at any moment — the IRGC just has to give the nod. And they clearly can’t take on Hezbollah or Lebanon, as the tanker row and exchange of fire last month demonstrated. They have also accomplished exactly nothing in Syria.
If the Israelis had struck the tanker, which reached Baniyas safely, Israel would have been finished. The Resistance Axis would have torn it apart and liberated Jerusalem, once and for all. And the US wouldn’t have done anything, because “the US can’t do jack shit about anything” — Aytollah Khomeini, 40 years ago.
If the US and the Israelis thought they could do anything in a regional war with the Resistance, they wouldn’t have let the tanker reach Syria.
So, to sum up:
1. The Resistance attacked the Mercer Street
2. The Resistance then sent a tanker full of fuel oil to Lebanon
3. The Jews did nothing
4. The US did nothing, except offer Lebanon gas and electricity, to try and stop Lebanon from becoming completely dependent on Iran
5. In the process of doing that, the US broke the siege of Syria
6. The US was thus humiliated
7. Israel was attacked, mocked, insulted, injured, humiliated, and revealed as a powerless third rate nothing that only continues to exist by the grace and patience of the IRGC
8. Israel is out of options, and from this point on, the Resistance dictates what the Jews can and can’t do in the region
9. The Israelis have been boasting of their Samson Option for decades — the option for when all other options fail — while they pretend to be insane enough to actually go through with it.
10. The Jews are a cowardly race of people, and if they make one wrong move now, Israel will be devoured by the Resistance Axis.
Strike the tankers, or strike Iran with nukes, either way, the response is the same: a total war against the Zionist regime by multiple states and non-state actors, while the Palestinians go on a rampage domestically.
What analyst would give Israel even a 1% chance of survival, let alone victory, under such conditions?
Don’t kid yourself, Nassrallah is a diplomat, words are words, with some being more special than others. The Regime Occupying Palestine knew what the consequences of blocking the diesel shipment would be, suicide. Somewhere in an occupied basement, some clown is working on a four booster cannon, if the first two rounds of the booster cannon don’t get ya, the thrid and forth will.
Cheers, M
Zero-chance-of-survival scenario after a strike on the Islamic republic of Iran was passed a long time ago. The Resistance Nation will impose a rigid system to heal the nations of Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, Yemen, and Afghanistan.
“– We stress that the oil derivatives will be sold at less than the cost price, and we will consider the losses as an aid and gift from the Islamic Republic of Iran and Hezbollah.”
This made me pride as an Iranian! This is the epitome of Irans political identity.
Some people look forward to increase peoples suffering so that they can benefit, while others alleviate peoples suffering by self sacrificing. Can it get more black and white?
yes the Iranian Republic of Islam is the best place in the world in most ways. You have reason to be proud.
I wish I was also proud to be a Canadian but I’m ashamed.
I don’t know where to put this, so I will just put it here.
Twenty eight years ago, Yasser Arafat, head of the Palestinian Liberation Organization, laid down his arms, and signed a compromise agreement with the Israeli Prime Minister, Yitzhak Rabin, in Washington, known as the Gaza-Jericho agreement. As such, the Palestinian Liberation Organization, after Egypt, also officially recognized the Zionist regime, and gave many concessions to that regime. But the Zionist regime also made certain promises and commitments, like stopping settlement-building in the occupied territories, releasing Palestinian prisoners, and retreating from 90 percent of the West Bank lands, but in spite of the optimism of the PLO leaders, the Jews did not uphold a single one of their commitments.
Anwar Sadat was the first person to sign a compromise agreement with Israel, and occupied himself with normalizing relations between the Egyptian government and the Zionist regime. Anwar Sadat came to power in 1970, after the death of Jamal Abdul Naser. Naser was a popular and remarkable figure among the Egyptian and Arab people, and the Muslim world. Sadat came to power based on Naser’s popularity, and inherited that popularity.

At first, Sadat maintained Egypt’s position as the front line in the war against Israel, and as the leader of the Arab and Muslim world, and also maintained his popularity among Arabs. In 1973, and only three years after Sadat came to power, the fourth war of the Arabs against Israel, which was called the “Ramadan War”, was initiated, led by Egypt and Syria. In the middle of the war, conditions gradually changed in Israel’s favor, and because of certain military mistakes, the Egyptians found themselves in a tough spot. Historian and military analysts believe that the sudden decision to change tactics in the Sinai front resulted in a heavy defeat being inflicted on the Egyptian forces, which suffered more casualties than they had since the beginning of the war, up to that point.

It has been said that many Egyptian military commanders disagreed with Sadat’s decision, and some have suggested that while Egypt had the upper hand over Israel, Sadat chose to change the balance on the scene, because he wanted to find a peaceful solution to end the crisis, but because the negotiations weren’t looking hopeful, he decided to pave the way for an agreement, by going to war. Two days after the war started, Sadat told the Americans that he had no intention of prolonging the conflict, and when Hafiz Assad, the Syrian president, encouraged him to abandon thoughts of a ceasefire, he responded that he absolutely did not want to fight Israel anymore. Some believe that the US, which was seriously backing Israel at the time, may have made promises to Sadat to change the scene of the war in favor of the Israelis.
Sadat, who was on the brink of victory, and at the peak of his popularity, prepared the ground for his defeat, with that decision, and lost some of his popularity in the Arab world; but he was able to set the stage for his solution of negotiations for compromise in order to work out the disagreements, and reduce American pressure.
https://newsmedia.tasnimnews.com/Tasnim/Uploaded/Image/1395/03/26/139503261421408577928664.jpg — Anwar Sadat signed the compromise agreement with Israel at Camp David
After the war ended, the ground was prepared for negotiations and compromise, in spite of public opposition in Egypt and among the Arab world. In line with this, Sadat attempted to move closer to the US. In addition to Sadat, who wanted agreement and compromise, Nixon and Carter also made much effort to bring Egypt and Israel closer together. As such, in 1978, Carter invited Sadat and Begin to the Presidential residence at Camp David. The US president succeeded in getting Sadat and Begin to sit at the same table, and sign an agreement normalizing ties between Egypt and Israel, at a time when Egypt was the front line in the war against Israel.
By signing that deal, Sadat removed Egypt from the war against Israel. This act had many consequences in the Arab and Muslim world. He, who had come to power, based on Jamal Abdul Naser’s popularity from his anti-Zionist stance, now became a hated figure and a traitor in the minds of Arabs and Muslims.
Because of Anwar Sadat’s anti-Islamic actions, and his compromise with the Zionist regime, on the 6th of October, 1981, on the anniversary of the start of the Ramadan War, Lieutenant Khalid Islamboli, attempted to execute him, revolutionary style.
https://newsmedia.tasnimnews.com/Tasnim/Uploaded/Image/13920126142418900388544.jpg — Anwar Sadat died in 1981, because of his betrayal of Arab and Muslim nations, at the hands of Khalid Islamboli
But Arafat was one of Palestine’s first generation fighters, who in 1959, together with Khalil Wazir, Salah Khalaf, Khaled Hasan, and Farouq Qadumi, founded a movement called Fath, “Harekate Tahrir Filistin”. Arafat, although he had a significant influence on the war against Israel, especially guerrila warfare, but his insistence that the Palestinian problem is Palestine’s problem and business (rather than of the entire Islamic world), and his alignment with Saddam against Iran, and against Kuwait, over time demoted his position among Muslim nations.
Arafat, who experienced important mistakes in the political world, such as alliance with Saddam and civil wars, gradually laid down his arms, and consented to negotiate with the Zionists. To the disbelief and bewilderment of the Palestinian people, he signed the Oslo Accord, with Yitzhak Rabin. The Oslo Accord was the first official face to face agreement signed between the PLO and the Zionist regime, in 1993, in Washington DC, with Arafat, Rabin, and Bill Clinton.
https://newsmedia.tasnimnews.com/Tasnim/Uploaded/Image/1393/08/20/139308201447112804059304.jpg
The consequences of this agreement for the Palestinian people was extreme limitations on their movements in the occupied territories, extreme control by the Zionist regime over the Palestinians’ natural and human resources, and it did not stop the Jewish settlement building. The only thing Arafat achieved, was a Nobel Peace Prize in 1994, like Anwar Sadat before him.
The compromise of the founder of the Fath movement did not end there, and in the “Oslo 2” negotiations in September 1995, completely sold out the founding ideals of the PLO, and in exchange for the Palestinian National Authority governing the cities of Jenin, Nablus, Ram-Allah, etc, agreed to remove the section about the destruction of Israel, from the PLO charter.
In the string of “Middle East Peace” negotiations in 2000, and in “Camp David 2”, he entered negotiations over Israeli sovereignty over Jerusalem, no return to 1967 borders, no right for the Palestinian National Authority to have an army, and the Israeli right to keep West Bank and Gaza settlements. Arafat’s betrayal of the Palestinian people’s ideals, in addition to making him a hated figure in the Muslim world, resulted in the “strategy of war” (as opposed to compromise) being picked up by other Palestinian militant groups with utter seriousness, and the second round of battles against the Zionist regime, known as the Al Aqsa Uprising, was begun.

Yasser Arafat died under suspicious circumstances, in 2004. The Fath movement and other Palestinians hold Israel responsible for the assassination of the head of the Palestinian National Authority.
And what does this have to do with the topic? Pray tell me, am I missing something?
The general topic is the resistance against Israel and the US, no? And this article is not by any author, who would be offended at it being hijacked, is it?
Would the people who open up this article, be upset to find a little piece of history about, for example, how it came to be that Egypt takes orders from the US and Israel, and when they need Egypt to provide gas to Lebanon, they just snap their fingers, and also why Egypt did not offer to give gas to Lebanon before this?
And then it raises the question of what would have happened to Palestine, if Hamas and Islamic Jihad had not risen after Arafat sold out to the US and Israel. And what would happen to Lebanon, if Hezbollah weren’t around?
And I guess, in a larger context, it reflects the fact that most countries in the world are like Egypt, and most leaders, like Arafat, which is in sharp contrast to Nasrallah.
But this is not the first time I have hijacked one of these threads and spammed it with news, updates, analyses, history, and even just random thoughts about the Resistance, Iran, Palestine, etc. If it bothers you, take it down, dear amarynth.
But, I am flattered that you decided to reply, even if just to pick on me.
You get me wrong, from various perspectives.
Your history is important, but you did not tie it to the current events. I can think of at least 3 very important tie-ins, directly related to the most important happenings in Lebanon now.
There almost certainly are very real people behind all the translated news that we’ve been getting on Lebanon. They’re very real .. I am one of them .. a wonderful translator is another one and we spent quite some time, real time at 4am in my morning, on setting the context internally in the country. Take my first comment here.
I think you’re a smart and a competent and a wonderful and a creative and a knowledgable commentator. And sometimes you go off the rails as we all do.
That is why you *have* to tie your historical walkabout to the real events!
What is changing? How is the ‘general topic’ that you refer to directly related to what we’ve seen over these months, with the painstaking step-by-step approach of Nasrallah? What of those historical events are we (the resistance) putting a dent into, right now? And how will Lebanon become a country with a leadership that is not scattered into highly complex sectarian and factional politics? Your relation of history also has direct impacts on Afghanistan but this is not the topic here. Lets blow the mystique of what the role was of Egypt all these years right out of the water!
forgive me, amarynth, for interjecting here bt i for one greatly appreciate the historical review, while i knew most of the events i hadn’t positioned them on the board & they are in fact on the board…the axis of resistance’s board rather than the atlantic play board, & it’s important b/c it highlights beautifully imho the achievement & master stroke for one side & provides a luminous patina to the loss by the axis of evil. thank you.
its not the right place…To mourn at a wedding is not the right place – to play football at a baseball game is not the right place…send it to Saker and have it put up as a separate article. Just play by the rules. Or post it in the cafe.
Alrightie then, that sounds like a good idea, Ann.
Would you post it as a separate article, dear amarynth?
Sorry, cannot do that at all. Once in comments, we don’t republish and we usually don’t republish work that has already been published. Of course, there are exceptions to this.
But please, if you have something like this, quite important, send it to me. This one deserved a broader readership and the links made to today’s happenings, highlighted. In the main, it was Nasrallah over the past months (year), that set the tone and described the state of the resistance against Israel, step by step .. like – You are Now Here style and if the Israeli’s take on more step (for example the problems around the Al-Aqsa mosque), there will be war. In my view and I’ve said it so often during the years (just in the household because the words were not so cool) .. Those ‘Arabs’ are getting themselves screwed again something fierce because they are allowing the hegemon to mine those internal contradictions. Each stupid US President built a legacy on creating yet another unworkable agreement with one or the other and the hegemon feasted.
Think of that US representative women in the area who said .. we can just bring fuel for Lebanon from Egypt. Nasrallah kinda ignored that offer to again ‘come into the hegemonic parlor’! So, your history explains why.
In Nasrallah’s moves and speeches, I see (and hope) that he understands this contradictory spirit and can actually navigate it.
We’re not really here to be entertained yes? We here to be informed is my view. My current fear is that if we (the resistance outside of the Middle East and the Levant in general) do not start understanding the internal contradictions of the leaders in the area, we might just miss the most important signals during this opportunity to shift the hegemon. OK, I think I’ve said enough now fer sure. In general, we see also in the Latin America’s a much stronger move toward a state of internal amity – they are beginning to build new structures and throwing out hegemonic ones. This is what we need to see in the middle east as well.
@Amarynth: “What has this to do with the topic?”
Everything. 911 was a continuation of Anglo Zionazi Capitalist’s “Century of War” (starting 1914) to capture the oil reserves of the MENA, install a National Home for the Jews in Palestine, and unleash anti-Muslim “Clash of Civilizations” crusades against an ever expanding list of “Existential Enemies of Israel” (currently Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Malaysia).
On which fools crusade “The West” has wasted 20 years of blood and treasure, and with no sign of waking up.
its interesting – I would comment on this but its not the right thread – put it again in the Cafe and maybe you can get a response ?
Biden seems to be pulling US troops out of Iraq and Syria, much to the consternation of Israel and its Zionist (Christian) supporters in the USA. It won’t be just attacking an oil tanker that would draw the USA into the next war with Iran, it will be “some catastrophic and catalyzing event, like a new Pearl Harbor.” It will be a 9/11-style attack… AGAIN! When will the USA ever learn that Israel is out to bring us down just like in the parable of the scorpion and the frog. “I couldn’t help it. (stinging the frog in midstream, dooming them both) It’s in my nature.”
Tommy, I think your information is incorrect. I don’t see any troop pullout and neither does Mr.Putin or Mr.Assad.
https://www.rt.com/russia/534762-putin-assad-moscow-meeting/
“Some 900 American troops reportedly remain in northern Syria, assisting Kurdish-led rebel forces.”
To keep troops in Syria, US leaders are lying like in Afghanistan
https://mate.substack.com/p/to-keep-troops-in-syria-us-leaders
You have to remember that Biden’s words may say that we will keep US troops in Syria, when in fact he’s changing their mission to an “advisory” role. No longer are they shelling Syrian villages and kicking doors in as was done during the Trump administration. Trump even said that we were in Syria for the oil (for Israel) but Biden has already pulled US forces out of the Syrian oil fields.
The long game is that the USA will eventually pull all troops out of Iraq and Syria, whether Israel and US ReTrumplicans like it or not. That is, unless “some catastrophic and catalyzing event, like a new Pearl Harbor” forces us to attack Iran like US Christian Zionists pray for each and every day.
I’ll surely let Mr.Putin and Mr.Assad know about all of this and how very wrong they are.
But you let me know when once you post something that is not the ‘US Christian Zionists’. You let me know now, OK.
Deal. Here’s the first. Literally, one-quarter of Americans think the Sun goes around the Earth. If you don’t believe this, Google it. I won’t again mention who these folks are, except to say that theirs is a faith-based reality, not one based on evidence and science. That’s why they were so easily talked into the so-called war on terror, which is really a war on Islam, millions and millions of innocents murdered, all for Israel.
#Syria
President Bashar al-Assad ordered the 4th division to protect and escort #Iran gas oil trucks to the borders with #Lebanon and allowed the cargo content to be exempt from all taxes.
awesome – the axis of resistance working together – wish I was there. I’m part of it though – in another part of the world.
It indeed is awesome! Can you imagine this happening even as little as five years ago?
yes – good point Amarynth – its like a great spirit is overshadowing zone B and a terrible dark thing is overshadowing Zone A
No doubt, the Israelis and Americans are gnashing their teeth in anger as this Iranian ship loaded with fuel to Lebanon is another kick to the scrotum of the American-Zionist Empire.
God’s Chosen democracies=Satan’s chosen demonocracies
The Orcs apparently didn’t dare to attack the tanker, but what is the likelihood that they may try to bomb the tanker trucks as they transport the diesel fuel through Syria and into Lebanon?
Antoinetta III
Congratulations to the people of Lebanon. And a long overdue Thanks to the The Islamic Republic of IRAN.
Why do I get more important news from the Saker website than from any major U.S. Mainstream News outlet?
At the same time as the USA, the French neo-colonial empire is beginning to break up. Lebanon, Central Africa, now Mali too. Israel is in deep strategic trouble. From the French lock to the north of Zaire, a key country on the continent, Chad and Niger remain, but strategic continuity is lost. The next steps will be the end of MONUSCO, the control of the center of the continent by chaos, and then the CFA franc. The French foreign trade deficit is 80 billion euros annually. France is getting poorer and weaker every day.
The terrorist arc from Somalia to the Cameroonian and Nigerian borders could collapse by stopping its financing. Saudi Arabia has already signed an arms deal with Russia. Iran breaks the blockade against Lebanon by delivering oil. The political chaos in the US is incredible. The MIC (military-industrial-complex) is in a state of flux. North Korea is firing cruise missiles and the South too from its submarines. Two assertions of sovereignty, not so antagonistic as that.
Every day the Western empire weakens and every day the Eurasian sovereignty with its multiple consequences strengthens. And this strengthening is much more important than only the losses of the opponent.
After the stage of collapse will come the stage of reconstruction of an international order. Will Russia and China be powerful and wise enough to rebuild international institutions strong enough to emerge from the chaos left by the West? The key point will be in many parts of the planet to touch the artificial borders, mostly dating from the end of the 19th century, separating peoples who want to live together. Things are moving fast and this will be the great task of the next decade.
Good to read this, I know someone there so hopefully he will be helped, even if in some small way.
Sad that yet another country – liek ukraine etc – get ripped off by their own people.
