On the world stage, profound changes are under way. Obviously, China and Russia have lost the confidence that the West will contribute to the solution of the world’s problems in some constructive manner. China and Russia have now accepted their role as the leading forces with the responsibility of holding the world together. The West held this role for centuries, but this time is over. The West has essentially become destructive. The West has lost the power of solving problems and now use her resources mainly for creating problems. In my eyes, this is the central evolution of the last months and it is an epochal change.
China and Russia did not easily decide to go ahead without the West. They have hesitated for a long time. They are quite aware of the burden they will have to bear. Other countries have led the way. In particular, Iran and North Korea have come to the conviction already some time ago that they cannot count on the West. The same is true for Hezbollah, for Syria, for Cuba, or for Venezuela. But apparently, China and Russia did not intend to „blindly“ follow these countries. However, not only the moment has come to take a decision, but China and Russia now also feel strong enough to advance without the West, or, may-be more precisely, despite the West.
The new role for China and Russia includes a lot of functions. They have to defend some kind of international order and law; they have to maintain and even strengthen important international organizations, in particular the UNO; they have to try to contain regional conflicts; they have to propose possible solutions for the world’s problems. Of course, this cannot and will not be done in a dictatorial manner. China and Russia always insist that the decisions must be taken in a much more democratic spirit than that which was – and is – practiced by the West.
It is a fact that the West does more and more undermine any kind of international law and order. Their international politics is destructive. There are countless sanctions against other countries, there are murders, conspiracies, and lies. In recent times, there is no conflict in the world where the West has tried to support a peaceful solution, may-be with the exception of Afghanistan and – at least for some time – of the two Koreas. And during the current pandemic, the West has made no effort in order to propose a common reaction of the world; countries like China, Russia, and Cuba did much more in this direction.
It is not a simple coincidence that China and Russia used the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the victory in World War II, the 3 September, in order to clarify their new role. Namely, during this war, Russia and China already bore the principal responsibility for the victory over the fascist aggressors.
In this context, Xin Jinping wrote to Vladimir Putin: „China and Russia both shoulder important responsibilities for the cause of world peace and development. I am ready to work with you to take the 75th anniversary of the victory of the World Anti-Fascist War as an opportunity to lead China and Russia towards deeper comprehensive strategic coordination. Together with the international community, we should firmly protect our victory in World War II and international fairness and justice, actively uphold and practice multilateralism, promote the building of a community with a shared future for mankind, in a bid to allow future generations to enjoy a world featuring lasting peace, universal security and common prosperity.“
Vladimir Putin, on the same occasion (3 September), wrote to Xi Jinping that „it is a common responsibility of Russia and China to safeguard the truth of WWII history“ and called on the two countries to resolutely oppose any attempt to deny the outcomes of the war. Russia is ready “to continue active efforts jointly with its ally China in order to prevent wars and conflicts in the world and ensure global stability and security.”
In his speech at the Valdai Discussion Club (22 October), Putin has very much developed the new role of Russia (and China). This is an absolutely crucial speech, including the questions and answers. In particular, Putin explains that a strong state which has the confidence of the citizens is „a basic condition for Russia’s development“. Putin underlines that „genuine democracy and civil society cannot be ‚imported‘ … only the citizens of a particular country can determine their public interest“.

Now let us come to the other side, the West. The upcoming US elections will determine the official Western leadership, that is, the Trump team or the Biden team. It is of course an important decision, even if the differences between the two teams are may-be more in style than in the content. Nevertheless, the outcome will have a big influence on the whole West. So, let us try to consider the consequences.
For me, the first question is, which side is less destructive? This question is still quite difficult to answer. The Trump team has more and more developed a destructive foreign politics, in particular against Iran and China. The Biden team on the other hand has concentrated the campaign essentially on the destruction of the Trump team, without mentioning constructive projects. So both sides are basically and intrinsically destructive.
The second question is, citing Putin’s formula, which team may gain more confidence of the citizens? The (numerical) outcome of the elections is by far not the unique measure for this. The particulate and egoistic interests of some powerful and very rich groups have an enormous influence – leaving aside corruption and manipulation of the elections.
All what I hear from the USA hints to my feeling that the Biden team is utmost arrogant and completely detached from the people and, as a consequence, is more subdued to the particulate and egoistic interests of these powerful and very rich groups. This does not mean that the Trump team is close to the citizens, but at least it is tendentiously closer than the other team; therefore, the Trump team is somewhat more autonomous.
Concerning the West, a victory of the Trump team would probably not change much. This would be a small advantage for the world since the West will – partly – remain blocked by internal divisions, and new aggressive wars will be quite difficult. On the other hand, a victory of Biden’s team bears the risk that both leading political parties in the USA will unit in order to plan new wars.
How big is this danger? It should not be underestimated. The power of the Trump team is basically one which comes from direct popular support. If this popular support becomes negligible, then the particulate egoistic groups will try to eliminate the Trump team and all its supporters. Moreover, in the whole West, the „moral“ and „ideological“ imperialism will obtain a big push.
However, these „hopes“ created in the West by the perspective of a Biden’s victory are a pure illusion. There are based on nothing, just on nostalgia. It is plain nonsense to think that the problems of the West were created by the Trump team and its supporters. A Biden’s victory cannot solve the inner problems of the West, and the former strength of the West cannot be regained.
The „moral“ imperialism intends to punish all countries which do not have an, often imported, Western liberal system. But this is impossible. The world has become too diversified. So, the push towards this pathological feeling of superiority of the West will probably be a straw fire. Nevertheless, it can be quite dangerous.
What is my prognosis? We should expect a victory of Biden’s team. As I explained, this is not what I would wish. However, elections have some own laws. Often, the central subject of the election battle is of crucial importance. When the central subject was the social unrest in the US cities, then the Trump team had a clear advantage. But now, the central subject seems to be have shifted to the pandemic. This favors Biden’s team. Of course, I do not think that Biden would have better managed the pandemic. But it was Trump who was the president during the pandemic. Therefore, in some sense, he will be taken responsible for the pandemic, justified or not.
Of course, it is possible that the Trump team wins. It is also possible that after the elections, there will be chaos. But still, I would not count on such a result. More probable is some kind of which hunt against the supporters of the Trump team. This could also affect everybody who is not a declared Trump hater. But this foreseeable extremism, provoked by a Biden’s victory, will again alienate the USA inside the West.

National elections are not isolated events. They take place in a global context. This global context has to be considered for a correct assessment of the results. These elections are the first US elections in the new epoch, characterized by the new role of China and Russia. The elections will be affected by this fundamental change, in some way or another. It can be supposed that they will give important hints how the world will proceed in the new epoch.
> “The West has essentially become destructive. ”
Let’s not beat about the bush. The West is no longer able to hide or disguise its core parasitic/destructive nature.
mijj
“The West has essentially become destructive”. Yes, it had been destructive not only towards others, but towards its self. It all goes back to the 17th century English civil war, replicated in 18th century American and French “revolutions”, in the 1830 and 1848 European “revolutions” and in the 20th century Russian “revolution”. Who planned all of this and who payed for all of this ?
Then we have the monstrous First and Second World Wars. Who planned them and who payed for them ? After that we have the Korean and Vietnam wars, and others that followed. Who planned them and who payed for them ? Who planned the creation of the EU and for what purpose ? Look at Europe now. Financial and economic problems, social and political problems, ethnic problems. What have all the “revolutions” and wars done to the European psyche ? And the US ? It has the biggest domestic and foreign debt in the world.
“The new role for China and Russia includes a lot of functions”. That is correct. However, that was never the intention of the West. The intent was to have these two countries isolated, destabilized and broken up, after which the so-called “New World Order”, led by private banks and corporations, would have a free hand. It never came to that. The opposite happened. The pages of history probably don’t know of a transformation that was so huge and and so influential as the arrival of Russia and China on the world stage and the partnership they created.
In July of 1971 Nixon sends Kissinger on a covert trip to China, the aim being to establish diplomatic and economic relations and to bring China over to the Western camp, leaving the Soviet Union (Russia) isolated.
The Vietnam war was not going too well, and neither Korea nor Vietnam could be used for a pincer invasion of China after it was destabilized, obviously part of the grand plan.
The Chinese, of course, know it’s a trap, a typical divide and conquer ploy. However, they play along, establishing relations with the West, but never turning their back on Russia. Today they trade with both and in the process establish an economic alliance with Russia, with a military one not too far behind. This was hardly expected by the West, which did indeed give a helping hand. In 1999 Berzezinsky publishes his “masterpiece”, “The Grand Chessboard”, where he outlines American foreign policy plans and naming it’s enemies. The Russians and Chinese, of course, read the book, after which they establish a partnership. That book must have been one of the greatest pieces of stupidity ever written.
And the US ? Who wins on November 3rd ? According to the author, “We should expect a victory of Biden’s team”. Under ordinary circumstances there is no way Joe Biden can win. However, a rigged election would put him and Kamala Harris in the White House. The rigging is apparently under way, with mail voting in full swing. The Democrats and the US elite were obviously influenced by mail voting in France during it’s last election, when millions of votes were expropriated from Le Pen and bestowed upon Macron, who won with the before never seen result of 66:33, and one which can only be ridiculed.
Why is the absent minded 78 year old Joe Biden running for President ? To secure the interests of the US elite ? Yes, certainly. However, it’s unlikely he would ever conclude his Presidency if elected, as he would be 82 years old. Analysts are pointing out that he would almost certainly relinquish his Office to Kamala Harris, who would become America’s first female President, something that was planned for Hillary Clinton.
Will Joe Biden really win, one way or another ? It will depend on the amount of election rigging. I think Trump will still win, although his win cannot be guaranteed. Should he lose, then we can expect violent reactions, which would ensue even if he won.
Analysts are predicting social and political explosions after the election, no matter who wins. Some are even warning of a new civil war. As I have written before, a new civil war, of the type fought between 1861 and 1865, is virtually impossible, as who would fight it. However, social disturbances resembling a civil war are very mush possible. I think that the article is wrong when it states that disturbances after the elections would be limited in size. This remains to be seen. At any rate, November is going to be very interesting.
>Let’s not beat about the bush. The West is no longer able to hide or disguise its core parasitic/destructive nature.
You’re still flailing around the heart of the matter: the West is no longer able to hide or disguise the parasite that now has almost total control of the host. In this sense, it is not longer even possible to speak of a ‘West” without misunderstanding the root of the problem.
It is an observance made by political academics that many people do not actually vote for, or against any political candidate, but rather vote for, against the folks that the political candidates purport to represent. For example, the people who will be voting for Biden, are not actually voting for Biden, or against Trump, but rather are voting against the “Trumpsters”, i.e. those people who support Trump who are out to “redneck” America (as if it is not already too redneck already.) And vica-versa, the “Trumpsters” are not so much for Trump, or against Biden, but are really voting against “those liberal Democrates who are out to ruin our country by giving it away to them hippie -pinko -fags, and dark skin foreigners.” In this perspective, the whole U.S. political mess is brought to an entirely other (cesspool) level having to do nothing with international geo-politics, environment, pandemic, or anything else that really matters. Most unforetunate, no matter who wins this November, the matters at hand will only get worse.
Intuitively correct. The old high school student council “which crowd do you run with” argument, which I’ve always thought was a prime motivator. We grow up and supposedly get more sophisticated in our reasoning as we go, but in the end, we’re all still ruled by the same adolescent passions that preceded us. Voting comes down to just another subliminally-influenced lizard brain activity, something the political consultants have long since exploited to the fullest.
Exactly. Issues such as immigration policy, abortions, and gun rights are the main themes amongst Trump supporters. Also, the majority of them are Christians of different denominations and are close to the church.
The Dem campaign represents exactly the opposite policies regarding these issues.
Many Dems are anti-religious, ani-gun rights, and support illegal immigration and abortions. This is an eternal battle till one side emerges victorious by completely suppressing the other.
China and Russia have lost the confidence that the West will contribute to the solution of the world’s problems in some constructive manner.
No comment. Oh no, wait I lost THAT confidence in the 70s, when I was still a kid, before I even lost you know what you know where, and it took these people, most of them if not all, world class politicians and strategists, Putin, Xi, their brass, their political advisers, more than half a century after that to come to the same realization…? People who should have the accumulated knowledge and wisdom of centuries of History and human experience in their hands, well within their reach…?. And I thought I was clueless…!!
“It is of course an important decision, even if the differences between the two teams are may-be more in style than in the content. ”
Sums up the whole article.
could have saved yourself a few hundred words.
Biden may preside over the fire sale of a broken and desperate USA to the Chinese Communist Party and the People’s Liberation Army.
Please read this; “Report on Biden Activities with China”:

Here is a direct link to the report:

A Trump victory in 2020 will only delay the transfer of United States assets to China by four years, by which time the acquisition price will be much lower. Biden may not live long enough to cash in, which is why 2020 is so important to him. China is patient, and will eventually prevail no matter the outcome of the next US election.
Hats off to China and their government for having the aim and lifting a large part of their society out of poverty. Their citizens are well educated and very industrious. China didn’t force anyone to offshore their production to other countries, including their own. That was done by the people who are really running the show. The same ones who have the New World Order plan nearing completion. This fake pandemic should just about finish things off. But the U.S. has not been totally unproductive. They have the largest for-profit prison system on earth and the largest surveillance state.
I look at this election and all the hype and fear that surrounds it as a distraction. Two candidates and two teams with the same master. There may be some dust up from BLM and Antifa. Hard to say. This is all just part of the show. The real victims of what is coming is everyone! Get ready to live in a feudal system. All the infrastructure is already in place in the land of the free.
Unipolar world does not sell weapons. The Empire has run out of small villains that they and the Media created now they are creating a bigger one in China and Russia. It’s come to that, the Empire against the rest of the world, China and Russia must stay united for sanity to prevail.
Have you heard of the Chinese Social Credit System? Sanity is not the word I’d use to describe it.
Would you accept such a system forced on you by a dictatorial regime? Do you know what life is actually like in China?
I think I would rather fight to the death than submit to the kind of tyranny the Chinese have on offer, which makes the Western world look like a true Utopia in comparison.
If I had to choose, I would choose life in a Western country over China any day of the week. I think just about everyone in the world would make the same choice, including the Chinese themselves.
What kind of insanity is driving people to portray China as some kind of savior, I will never understand.
China is a forced labor camp, elevated to the status of a country.
Yes, I’ve heard of the Chinese social credit system. I’ve heard it is used equally to prevent corrupt wealthy people from taking advantage of others. Have you heard of Edward Snowdon? How about William Binney? Have you heard of him? You should hear what they have to say. The U.S. and their five eyes comrade countries vacuum up all communications of everyone. It is a total surveillance state! I’ve heard boarding a plane isn’t much fun. Have you tried it? Is it pleasant being molested by a stranger? Why is it in the west we need a license to do just about anything? Even fishing. Did you know in some locations it is illegal to collect rainwater? To grow a vegetable garden in your own front yard? To feed the homeless and hungry? How about forced medical treatment, such as vaccinations? And when you die, they tax your estate. Please don’t tell me how horrible other countries are, when their citizens do not agree with you. And don’t pretend the west is a bastion of freedom. It is a panopticon prison system, and it’s going to get much worse.
If I had to make a guess, it would be that your opinions are formed by listening to certain alt-media constantly hammering away propaganda about the ‘chicoms’ and how they and Russia, which is really still communist and is planning to reformulate the U.S.S.R. are going to invade the U.S.
Dude, open your eyes!
You are assuming a great deal, mate.
I am from Iran. I don’t own a TV. And I do not read the news. I don’t believe that China and Russia are planning to invade the West, but I cannot prove that they won’t. I don’t believe the West is a bastion of freedom, but it is still much better than China. Do you understand how much of your freedoms you must give up to live in a country as severely overpopulated as China?
You believe you don’t need a license to fish or hunt in China? You better check again. You believe many people in China have a backyard to grow vegetables in? You believe there is no forced medical treatments in China?
China is just a shittier version of the West.
I say this as an impartial observer from Iran, smack in the middle between East and West.
Why do you idealize China and Russia? You will only end up disappointed.
//I don’t believe the West is a bastion of freedom, but it is still much better than China.//
If you wish to be happy with whatever you can earn without paying much attention to how the elites systematically rule over your life and exploit you, the West is a great place to live.
I’ve met Iranians with your sentiments here in Europe and they think that Europe is a paradise of freedom while actually, it’s not.
The West and China are both slaves to global Zionism. But the standard of living in the West is much higher.
I wouldn’t leave Iran and go live in Europe for a million dollars, mate. Iran is the last bastion of freedom, in case you hadn’t noticed.
Jamshyd, imagine the world as a big multinational corporation. The United States is the CEO and the global Rulers-Z the board of directors.
Europe, Japan, UK… (Big Six Central Banks) are old profitable business units that are higher in the hierarchy and getting lots of bonuses. People in these suzerainties are happy as they have higher buying power because they’re stealing from lower units. What would happen if there was equality among world nation? Which would do well?
China is the new entity (business unit) that is really doing well. There are freedoms in China and thereby various factions. Russia another business unit with a profitable commodity business model. The United States is worried that this China business unit will spinout and become a new organization and start acquiring its business units as it will have its own ability to issue the new shares-currency. This is the crux of the CONFLICT.
Similar to the social credit score, in the United States one has a FICO score, which ensures that the rulers’ banks are paid and an individual doesn’t lose their house, business, car…
This is a conflict between suzerainties (US, UK, Japan… existing global order) and nations working towards sovereignties (China, Russia, Venezuela, Bolivia…). Let each nation gain their sovereignty and decide its value system and governance.
BTW, what are American & European core values?
@Jamshyd,
I have been to China many times, being married to a Chinese national. You have an opinion of China that is, at best, poorly informed and at worst the protestation of a schill.
China has lifted more people out of abject – western created – poverty than any other government in history, they have taken a beaten down, broken country and based on the strength of their culture and political and business acumen now have the world’s largest economy. Did I mention that it was the West, Great Britain, France, Germany and the USA that originally broke them?
Are any governments perfect? No! But I’ll support a government that has the best interests of their culture and people in mind, we are, after all, tribal animals.
We are not debating how many people were pulled out of poverty. We are debating life in China vs life in Western countries.
Are you really arguing that life is better for the Chinese than it is for Australians, for example?
Jamshyd, just to say I really enjoy your input here. On this issue, go here /weekly-china-newsbrief-and-sitrep-5/
Scroll down a bit and read the ‘gross national happiness’ index. :-)
(I could do with happiness generally).
That is so nice of you to say, amarynth. I am humbled.
About the happiness index, you know Iran is probably at the very bottom of the list. And this is inexplicable if we only consider how wretchedly poor Iranians were forty years ago, and how well off they are today in comparison.
I am open to the debate of whether happiness, in terms of neurochemistry and certain neurotransmitters, is something that can be manipulated through modern propaganda tactics.
Is happiness really the correct measure of a society’s success and well-being? Or is it just a gauge of how well psychological and sociological manipulation of the population is working, in today’s world?
Is a better measure of a society not the spiritual development of its citizens? How fares China in that regard? Any differently than the West, would you say?
@jamshyd
Hope you’re doing well.
Like amarynth above, I really enjoyed your input as well.
@Jamshyd
Reread your sentence: “We are not debating how many people were pulled out of poverty. We are debating life in China vs life in Western countries.”
It’s clear from this that *you don’t actually know what poverty is”. Poverty is the opposite of freedom. It is spending every waking moment being worried about survival. There is virtually *no free time* under poverty, only hunger and other stresses of survival. You simply cannot decouple poverty from “life”.
But I can’t fault you for that. It is your neoliberal masters that have brainwashed you to thinking poverty is just a cute statistic and a vice of poor & stupid people. Because that is the narrative that benefits them.
I spent my entire 20s living in a shed in the desert in the middle of nowhere, with no gas or running water, let alone hot water. I lived off the equivalent of twenty to thirty US dollars a month.
My grandparents were both dervishes. They lived in self-imposed poverty, as a form of ascetic spiritual discipline. My grandmother died a few years ago at age 89. The months leading to her end, she lived off of one teaspoon of honey and one glass of water a day. My grandfather is 101 now, living all alone, and he only eats bread and yogurt.
So, you are wrong, jürgen. Poverty is not a hindrance to freedom, or spiritual development, which is what really matters in my opinion. It is only a hindrance to stuffing your face in front of the TV, which is what the average Western person does with their so called “free time.”
What you call poverty is the natural state of life on earth. There is never enough food, and to get what is there requires tremendous effort. This is natural, and there is nothing wrong with it, and it keeps living organisms strong and fit and healthy until way into old age. You should see how thin the sparrows and wild dogs get here in the desert in winter, and yet they survive.
What you call being rich, is the overpriviledged wasteful behavior that is essentially what’s wrong with the world today.
I’m flattered that you have taken an interest in me personally, and my neo-liberal brainwashing, or whatever. But we are discussing China here.
China is on its way to become the next West. It’s not there yet, but it is getting there at a tremendous pace. I think the tyranny of the East, which is to come, will make people nostalgic for the good old days of Western imperialism.
@Jamshyd,
Oh dear – we are clearly debating poverty as jürgen points out – poverty is related to life(style). If I can’t eat, or have a warm bed that is ‘life’ and in many western countries like the USA abject poverty is increasing – do a search on homelessness in the USA – or Europe.
What I will explain to you is that life in China is *different*, there are things I can do in my country that I can’t do in China and likewise there are things I can do in China that I can’t do in my country. What I can state is that the Chinese health care system works effectively – I had to have an emergency operation there, the school system is highly advanced, the infrastructure is either world class or developing well, and consumer supplies are in good supply. Most people will find that sufficient and many Chinese expats who moved to my country are returning to China because of the greater opportunities there. Boris Kazlov makes some good observations below.
I can’t open your eyes, nor do I wish to, but I can counter your arguments for those who read your comments and provide those readers some objectivity.
Jamshyd; There are some great replies here for you Jamshyd. It is not what we are that matters it is what we could be that we should strive for. We cannot accept interpreting the world; one must be concerned with transforming it, which meant transforming both the world itself and human consciousness of it. Some comments to you here have explained the human conditions of the Chinese person and how that condition became a reality
China was never a democracy but there is not a single democracy in the West either.. Not today and not in the past. China was a “piggery” of the world where workers slept, ate and worked where they “sh–t”. There were 100 million drug users in China in 1950, and we or at least I know the reasons were not just abuse of the masses by the warlords it was as Jack writes Britain, France, Germany and the USA. He forgot to include Russia in this abuse.
China in 70 years went through a transformation, and they faced many problems which must be examined in their dynamic relation to each others and, above all related to the historical, social, political, and economic realities of that society. A recent book that I read “The first Chinese American”, shines a light on the democracy of all those who made America the economic power that you admire. The wealth of the decision makers in America was made on the misery of others domestically as well as globally.
I do not admire America. In fact, I do not admire any country, they are all terrible in my opinion.
My contention is that the East, in the form of China, is the new Zionist project, which will overshadow and take the place of the West soon.
From what I can see about Chinese ideology, and the absolute lack of spiritual and moral consideration, I can easily foresee what China will become as they emerge as the global superpower. The Chinese brand of domination which is to come, will make the West, with its atrocious record, which I am under no illusions about as an Iranian, look like the fairy godmother of the world.
China was not built on colonialist imperialist plunder of the world, like the West. But judging by their current trajectory, they will be forced to resort to the same kind of behavior eventually, in my opinion.
I have talked about Chinese underhanded maneuvers to bring down Iranian industry, elsewhere. What I can add is that the 450 billion dollar deal that China is offering to a desperate Iran right now is frankly no different than the imperialist designs of the West. It is just different means for achieving the same goal.
Quoting myself, “Take the Iranian auto industry for example, which used to be self-sufficient, producing everything right down to the smallest parts right here in Iran. Before the sanctions started, China approached Iran with deals on certain standard auto parts, simple things like nuts and bolts, at a fraction of the cost of production in Iran. Iranian auto manufacturers were thrilled, needless to say, and they started buying Chinese parts and many Iranian factories were shut down and scrapped. As soon as Chinese infiltration of the Iranian industrial sector was complete, sanctions came, US dollars became scarce, their price went up, and with them the price of Chinese parts, which were suddenly more expensive than Iranian parts of a few years back. And so the price of Iranian cars, and every other Iranian industrial product, suddenly became tied to the US dollar exchange rate, courtesy of China.”
This is how China operates. Undermining industry in other countries, so they can take over the market.
All I am saying is, why idealize and paint China as the answer to all the world’s woes, when they simply are not. An amoral, non-spiritual, ruthless materialist-hedonist country like China is expected to lead the world to salvation?
The problem with your conclusions and the conclusion of many who contribute here is that we ignore what will be born out of what we have today to justify the sacrifices made by humanity to get us to this point and going forward from : : the Islamic Revolution, the Middle East Wars, Covid-19 , Putin, Trump, EU and China.
How can we create out of the present world of nations with self-interest a human condition so that there is no humiliation of the poor by the needs of the wealthy, where the products of our best minds will serve all humanity and reverse the destructive forces that got us to this point so that the world is a place of harmony rather than chaos.
Tesla wrote many years ago that the world he envisioned will be “one of free men and women, free nations, equal in dignity and respect”. There is no other option. When Tesla died in 1943 his documents were confiscated by the FBI and some remain in their possession to this day. They were not impounded by the FBI to serve Tesla’s vision for the world they took his papers in order to build the weapons he envisioned so that they could use them against their fellow men and women to dominate the world.
To move forward from the present conditions we must observe the laws of nature that every national unit violates, because we (Islam, Christianity, China, Russia, EU, America) are at the point where there will not be an appeal or someone to appeal to. .
My father was Russian but born in China, Harbin to be precise, lived 30 years there, worked for the British, spoke mandarin.
Have seen photos of atrocities committed by the Japs against the Chinese.
I have met in Europe some of his buddies from that time.
My father met prominent Russian expats like Zinoviev.
All these people remained deeply attached to China, love deeply rooted.
Paul Schmutz Schaller — “The West held this role (the responsibility of holding the world together) for centuries, but this time is over.
Did the West “hold the world together” during those fateful centuries? or did they rape, pillage, and hold the world DOWN under their thumbs? Was colonisation and empire-building holding the world “together”, or holding them BACK?
Paul Schmutz Schaller — “The West has essentially become destructive. The West has lost the power of solving problems and now use her resources mainly for creating problems.”
The West solved problems alright during those horrid centuries. They solved problems of how best to use her resources to create problems for the rest of the world. Now that the rest of the world has grown wiser, the West continue to use their resources as before: create problems for others. The West has always been destructive all these horrid centuries.
I posted this before but it seems more relevent here so I will repeat it if the moderator seems to agree. It covers my viewof the three possible outcomes. Two result in military coups. I must say the results are very close to the senario of Paul above. There is also a little satire. The videos are short (2min)
Part 1 Military Coup: When a country reaches a point where no political figure can command the population and the breakdown of law and order is a threat to national security the choice is between a continued oligarcy (with the support of the military) or a military takeover. In the case of the USA that would make General Mark Alexander Milley Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff a major player.
At 62 Milley is due to retire. Milley has sufficient medals to prevent his survival should he fall into a swimming pool. He is not alone in that regard as most high ranking US military officers would also suffer a similar fate. https://youtu.be/rR786qcBUaY http://www.cowdisley.com/videos/coup.mp4
Part 2 Biden wins: Part 2 of the series ‘The Coup’, ‘Biden Wins’, and ‘Trump Wins’. This series examines what may be the consequences of these senarios. This is the Biden Wins senario

all sentiments are correctly described regarding nation to nation relationships. the obvious top of the pyramid where it all happens is not addressed. china russia dominance has long been heralded as the great communist takeover that gets westerners trembling.
an outsider could look at the covid lockdowns and ask where is this “freedom” we hear. could view the technocratic takeover as where is the democracy. EU and uk “common purpose ” . which again brings us to the great nwo conspiracy.
“It is essential that the sufferings of Jews… become worse… this will assist in realization of our plans… I have an excellent idea… I shall induce anti-Semites to liquidate Jewish wealth. The anti-Semites will assist us thereby in that they will strengthen the persecution and oppression of Jews. The anti-Semites shall be our best friends.” — Theodor Herzl (1897), Founder of Zionism
“Our race is the Master Race. We are divine gods on this planet. We are as different from the inferior races as they are from insects. In fact, compared to our race, other races are beasts and animals, cattle at best. Other races are considered as human excrement. Our destiny is to rule over the inferior races. Our earthly kingdom will be ruled by our leader with a rod of iron. The masses will lick our feet and serve us as our slaves.” — Menachem Begin (Israeli Prime Minister, 1977-1983)
First Prime Minister of the Jewish State of Israel, David Ben-Gurion:
“With the exception of the USSR as a federated Eurasian state, all other continents will become united in a world alliance, at whose disposal will be an international police force. All armies will be abolished, and there will be no more wars. In Jerusalem, the United Nations (a truly United Nations) will build a Shrine of the Prophets to serve the federated union of all continents; this will be the seat of the Supreme Court of Mankind, to settle all controversies among the federated continents, as prophesied by Isaiah.”
It’s utterly pointless to speculate on the American selection, er, election, because Trump has been preselected to win. There is no reason why a senile corrupt far right wing Big Business stooge war criminal would be put up against him unless – as has been the case in every American election since Reagan – one of the “contenders” is what we call a “dummy candidate” in India, a guaranteed loser whose only function is to make the preselected winner look legitimate. Candidate Trump in 2016 was the dummy candidate, but upset the applecart by actually winning, a crime for which he was speedily made to fall in line. This time, having appeased the Zionist lobby and the military industrial complex – the only two constituencies that matter in America – President Trump is the establishment choice, and Biden was put up as literally the only one that could be Depend-ed on to lose to him. As for the so called opinion polls, their function is only to allow the Bidenbois, after losing, keep stoking support for the ongoing slow motion World War III by screaming that Russia “stole the election” again for the next four years until they turn red, white, and blue.
As for the idea that Russia and China will, however reluctantly, step into leadership roles, forget it. China only wants economic links and prosperity, not a world leadership role, benevolent or otherwise. It is simply not in the Chinese mindset; as Zhong Guo, the Middle Kingdom, China has always *been* the centre of the world, so what does it need to rule the fringes for? As for Russia, it doesn’t even act when its neighbours’ houses are being set on fire by arsonists, in the obvious hope that the flames will spread to Russia’s own roof. So any kind of expectations that Russia is willing or even capable of leading anything is as realistic as the midday sun failing to burn away the dawn’s delicate dew.
“corrupt far right wing Big Business stooge war criminal”
Applies to candidates of each wing of the War Party.
“The West has essentially become destructive”
BECOME DESTRUCTIVE!!!
The West has never been any different …
Bosnian Croat
Take it easy. Don’ forget the Mongol invasions, the Arab invasions, the Turkish invasions, etc. History is not a simple subject.
The two are not mutually exclusive.
Boom! so simple and yet so true: The West has always been destructive!
I have tried hard to prove the opposite and I could not! maybe others can…?
Many feel that self-interest is a way to progress. In some cases maybe if that interest includes specie preserving but in most cases self-interest is and was destructive. The Great Chain of Being represented self-interest. It defined who was worthy and who was unworthy . Fear and military force held it in place . Remains like that today.
Strangely, I hold to the view that all governments are destructive and would ask, how can they not be? I have yet to see; despite much trumpeted abuses, any government anywhere achieve as much as the late Libyan leader M. quadaffi did with his Arab Jamahiriya. Governments were originated to manage trade properly and fund themselves by taxing merchants: Quite a reversal to the current reality where the Merchant class own our Governments and feed directly off of the Citizenry.
But the destructiveness of the last months? Well now let me ask you: What always happens when the parasitic class has stolen everything of value and the “system” has been brought to collapse? Answer: War! My observation is that the “Pandemic”(sic) is just that: A world war without bombs and patriotism, but nevertheless a World War that will bring all of the Death and misery attributed to the process and “business” of war. A new system, new money, new ideology, Government tyranny(not new, but a strengthened reality). Mankind moves ever further away from his roots and God as he is crushed by regulation and the lies of our elected(sic) leaders.
Oh, my Gatobard, I ‘ m sure you dont really and literally think what your words at first sight would mean.
You have just expressed your frustration ( resembling just as mine) because things have evolved so soooo slowly ever since…
It is not a matter of realisation by the East or their leaders , or even of timely realization of the destructiveness of the West. It takes more. Many things happened, many waves bumped up against their home walls, the end 80ties, the Berlin wall thing, the Deng Xiao Ping leap, – the western arrogant appearance of total hegemony, the inglorious end of Boris Ieltsin… the 30 consecutive years of Chinese majestic growth, all of them taken together.
And ”accumulated wisdom and experience” is not a transferable item.
And above all, if indeed ”power resides in the barrel of the gun” (Mao TD)
Russian and chinese power just solidified by the years after 2010, the second decade of our century.
Our world is undergoing a major restructuring.
The Global Dollar Empire would have liked and is still working to bring all nations under its control. However, it is not succeeding.
A nation has three options in the global arena, depending on their motivations, resources, trade balance, capabilities and positioning:
– SHAPING the global order. It needs positive trade balance or reserve currency (Free money), and an apparatus to influence. The U$A was in this position. This is very EXPENSIVE.
– REFORM & Reconfigure itself to be a REGIONAL power. It needs +ve trade balance, strong capabilities and good leadership team. China, Russia, & EU/Germany are in this arena. The USA is moving to this position because of its mistakes.
– ADAPT to the global order. Not strong, no global institutional strength, negative trade balance…India is in this class. Japan too adapts but is in a better position than India due to positive trade balance.
Interesting times.
Putin says US presence in Afghanistan good for security
MOSCOW, October 25. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin has said the continued presence of American troops in Afghanistan is beneficial for overall security.
So much for (Putin’s) loss of confidence in the “West”. God helps us.
“He who takes up arms against another commonly wounds himself, and the avenger should remember the words of Napoleon, “Never interfere with your enemy when he is making a mistake.” In 1879 the quote is presented as a “maxim in war” that is unattached to any famous figure.”
Putin says US presence in Afghanistan good for security
According to Putin, the Americans share data on anti-terror with their Russian colleagues.
….War on terror
According to Putin, the Americans share data on anti-terror with their Russian colleagues. “We view the Americans’ effort in Afghanistan as an anti-terrorist effort,” Putin stressed.
“They hand over and repeatedly handed over [data] to us. I thanked incumbent President [Donald Trump] because information that we received from America helped us prevent several terrorist acts in Russia,” Putin noted.
“In our turn, we are trying to do the same and we have such an agreement with the incumbent US president that if this information emerges, we will share it and help each other.”…..

“Cultivation and production of opium in Afghanistan have skyrocketed since the
Taliban were toppled in 2001 such that Afghanistan now supplies 92 percent of the
world’s illicit opium. The expanding opium trade is threatening to destabilize the
Afghan government and turn the conflict-ridden country back into a safe haven for
drug traffickers and terrorists”.

I repeat, production of opium has skyrocketed since the Taliban was toppled in 2001. And toppled by who, Mister Putin…? This US official report has as s date the year of 2007 But wait, because it gets even better. . F.F. a decade, to 2017:
Opium production up 87 percent in Afghanistan
Opium production is up 87 percent in Afghanistan this year to a record level of 9000 tons, 4200 tons more than 2016, according to recent report from the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, or UNODC.
https://www.militarytimes.com/flashpoints/2017/11/15/opium-production-up-87-percent-in-afghanistan/
Keep in mind, that 87% come on top of all the increases observed in the years since 2001. And we may add a note, they are talking about the same Taliban which was congratulated by the ONU shortly before they were toppled by the stabilizing force that is the U.S., acc. Putin, for having practically ended opium production and trafficking in Afghanistan.
Really, someone should tell the clueless man in the Kremlin of something every one but him already knows.
> “China and Russia have lost the confidence that the West will contribute to the solution of the world’s problems in some constructive manner. ”
that’s putting it mildly. Where the world’s problems are large scale war, international pandemics, national subversion, the USA and its co-conspirator western underlings are the main contributors to those problems.
kiwiklown: “Did the West “hold the world together” during those fateful centuries? or did they…. hold the world DOWN….? …. holding them BACK? The West has always been destructive all these horrid centuries.”
To assist careless readers, the above excerpt defines the period under discussion: those horrid centuries when the West was building empires.
In all of history, no single nation, or group of nations, ever held the world together.
But, during those horrid centuries, the West found that they could hold the world DOWN to steal the produce of other peoples.
My beef with this writer is his (unconscious?) bias thinking that the West was a force for good, as if “holding the world together” is somehow for the world’s benefit. How so?

It is nice that China and Russia are finally spending time and money fixing the world’s problems, rather than standing back and telling the West both how to fix the world’s problems and where money should be spent. I can hardly wait to see Russia’s and China’s National Environmental Protection Plans, and their plans to eliminate terrible fossil fuels which they say are causing global warming.
