The ”moon landing hoax” cohort does not think the US ever had a space program, and anyone who has been paying any attention knows that US cosmonauts take of from Baikonur, (not in the US). Maybe Elon or Jeffy have lofted a few cubesats, but that’s about it.
Did anyone eventually land on the moon, or did all those country’s get fooled and simply give up trying?

Between the earth and the moon you have space covered with radiation. This is the reason nobody landed on the moon. The 1969 moon “landing” was filmed in Disney Studios, when they made a laughable mistake. Both in the films and photographs no stars can be seen, something they omitted to include.
That the photographs are fake (if they are) does not proove that the landings daidn’t happen since US military PR has a history of restaging actual events to get better pictures.
The military are about as bumbling a crowd as you will ever meet, they really cant do much other than pull a trigger and report a kill, and even that comes in over budget.
If the photographs are fake, why should we believe that the landings actually happened? Fake pictures can never be better than the real thing.
No stars are seen because the camera of the day was not able to photograph them, even today one has to go to great lengths to shutter and a whole host of who knows what to accomplish that. Dont over think this or take the easy way out, if the studio heads we clever enough to replicate that, they would have added stars to please the likes of you.

The “likes” of me ? Just to point out that the astronauts took with them the Swedish Haselblad camera, one of the top cameras in the world, which surely would have captured stars in the sky.
My personal opinion is that they did, in flimsy little aluminum craft, and that the hardware they discarded will eventually be revisited on the lunar surface. And they were very lucky to have lost as few men as they did.
However, NASA has been reduced to a museum and amusement park in the decades since then. We can see nice pictures taken from the ISS, but people no longer arrive there on US-based spacecraft.
The Van Allen belts are not as dicey as some folks make them out to be.

I live in the US, and it’s sad how many people do buy into the “the Russians hacked the elections”, and now the “the Chinese are responsible for the virus”. However, even this narrative of “Putin is personally trying to destroy Western science” woulds seem hard to swallow even for them. One would hope.

Many Americans and their supporters through a steady and constant diet of American exceptionalism actually believe everything their government says and does it right. This is the land of the strong and home of the brave after all. This understanding of themselves and the wider world around them is reinforced by information channels such as the NY Times, which Gerald Celente regularly refers to as ‘the toilet paper of record’. I listened to an interview with a man named Yuri Besmenov who described how infiltration and propaganda works. The educational system is the main channel for such propaganda. When it is complete the victims are in a state of what he called demoralization. In this condition, you can show a person all manner of proofs of what has happened to him and that much of what he believes if false and he would never believe you!
I believe this conditioning can be broken but it isn’t easy. And it may only be possible for some, not all. Until then, they will continue to believe any and all slander fed to them, whether it be lies about Mr. Putin and Russia, China, Iran, Venezuela, etc. They are always presented as brutal dictatorships who are torturing their people daily, and it is up to the good old red, white and blue to save them. And all the proles applaud.

Pelosi wants to give money directly to insurance companies through “cobra” for americans who lost jobs and health insurance through employers. Why would someone do something like this when medicaid system already exists? Maybe because out of that money 30% can be kept by insurance companies as a profit …

The disease is Americans’ fanatical devotion to the idea that they are the ultimate Force for Good, Land of the Free, and Beacon of Liberty for the entire world–and thus anybody that resists the American Empire must by definition be evil.
