This is the best analysis of the overall situation in Ukraine and the western world attempts to destroy Russia that I have heard. Col. Douglas MacGregor Know his military and politics.
You are absolutely right. Not only does he talk about Ukraine, he straight up says the US is a one party system, a lot of money is flowing through the Congressional body, and the US is being sailed by a bad captain and crew. We need to see who is donating to these govt officials, all of them. Wish somebody had that knowledge and could share that info.
I’m not a big fan of Trump’s personality but I think MacGregor has it right. Trump would have intervened at the beginning to establish some type of peace and order.
Do not skip over this short video that imparts so much knowledge. The time will fly by. Share it with everyone.
The great difference between the USA even in 1960 and the USA of today is that now the US is totally in ,one with being the leader of the Anglosphere, which means being the new leader of the what amounts to the Anglo-Saxon empire, which the Saker dubs the Anglo-Zionist Empire. Now the US foreign policy establishment is very much certain it is rogue rightful heir to the foreign policy imperatives of the Victorian phase of the British Empire. And those Anglo-Saxon-Zionists indeed made war directly in Russia.
I suggest that there is a very old drive at the heart of Saxon globalism to make Russia submit so it can be looted. And that means that no Anglo-Saxon ruled nation should ever be trusted. And not just by Russians. Anglo-Saxons eventually get around to cheating all their allies.

This strikes me as a very important interview. Particularly for the Poles.
I like the interviewer’s observation that no cold war president would have given another thought to the absurd idea of going into a war because Russia would not allow Ukraine to join NATO.
Doug is impatient and a bit irritable and that seems directly targeted to a Polish audience. I hope they got that audience.
The interviewer seemed very composed and efficient, but did he say George F. Kennedy? Forgivable he wasn’t even alive when JFK was. This was Doug particularly hard hitting. Well worth another look for me, Thanks
I think the interviewer meant to say George F Kennan.
He was an advocate of a policy of containment of Soviet expansion during the Cold War.
He had grave concerns about the expansion of NATO during the Clinton administration.
He died in 2005.
I know it’s been suggested that Ukraine could be turned into a ‘parking lot’ by Russian armament if the time ever arose. But to me, it looks more like a big swimming hole. Imagine a few more of them…
This is where the poker player holding a pair of deuces folds.
Russia’s policy towards Ukraine is evolving but I am beginning to doubt that they want much more territory. They are fighting the USA and UK now and it is a different struggle.
Poland has regular troops on the ground and in the long term defending the 4 provinces they have will be difficult anough without trying to defend Odessa or Kharviv.
You can tell when someone is being honest, speaking the truth. Col. Macgregor has been telling the truth to the American people about the real nature of Russia’s SMO and of the negative consequences of supporting Zelensky since the start of the conflict. Unfortunately most Americans are unaware of the actions of our government but it must also be stated that the brain washing and misinformation being pumped through television, schools and social media outlets in the U.S. is relentless. Macgregor has earned my respect, he is a man of principles.
As we see it, there’s a problem with military people; even those in the highest ranks.
They don’t understand what is driving all of these changes going on around the world.
It’s called finance with a capital letter “F.” The US Financial Hegemon. If it wasn’t a hegemon, there would be no military. And right now, we need to concentrate on the the US Financial Center of power that is trying to maintain the Hegemonic Dollar System.
The Big People in the US Financial house run the whole show. Their puppeteers are ALL US politicians, and the military. These folks include The Fed, and tens of thousands of Super Billionaires. They make monstrous profits off the backs of ordinary citizens.
If you are seeing high inflation, the finger is pointed at The US FED, and the EU/UK Central Banks. Not at the Ukraine.
If you hear about Germany losing its grip on world trade: blame it on the US $$$.
If you read about the tragedy in The Ukraine, along with Poland’s rants: blame it on the US$$.
If you live in America, and you only work-part time on very poor wages: blame it on the US corporate heads; and not the poltiicians.
Let’s just hope we can survive this predatory $$ System because it’s influence is very brutal.
‘This is not what we wanted when we set out’, the Colonel’s words.
Now I suppose this all depends on who the ‘we’ is!
The majority of those Elites calling the shots have wet dreams about the destruction of Russia. Fortunately, they were so misguided when they believed they could take it down using Financial Instruments and a few fireworks and trenches which the Russian troops would run head into.
The colonel’s selective memory regarding Trumplethinskin. Sat down with President Xi he took great delight during the dessert chocolate cake to tell him 100 missiles were on their way to into Syria. Most pragmatic. however, when stating we’re here for the oil.
Let Col. MacGregor name the people fronting this war on Russia.
I too have huge admiration for Col. MacGregor but as you rightly point out so many commentators do suffer from varying degrees of “selective memory”.
Yes, Trump is not as dreadful as Biden but we are doing nobody any favours when we gloss over the mountains of Trump’s shortcomings.
Trump’s memory was so bad on one occasion the interviewer Maria Bartiromo had to correct him on which country he had actually bombed… not Iraq as he stated… actually Syria. It was on completely ridiculous false flag grounds anyway, and of course, all organised by proxies of the AAZ alliance and MIC/Deep State.
For some extra balance, MacGregor perhaps would have done well to mention the fact that it was actually Trump who signed off on the sanctions that so massively hobbled the building of NS2. The whole point of the direct route for NS2 directly from Russian soil through the Baltic to a German terminal was the hope that it would back up NS1 and become a long-term reliable source of very affordable energy supplying a huge chunk of Western Europe for decades.
The undersea route meant no transit fees or extortion and sabotage through potentially unreliable transit countries. Little did we know that the West would resort to every means possible to disrupt its completion, including even blatant deep-sea sabotage of the pipeline once it was all hooked up and ready to start supply.
Also, from the day he set foot in office Trump also did everything possible to wreck Venezuela, and would have succeeded if Russia had not put its foot down. What completely turned my gut with Trump was the infantile glee he showed when he was committing atrocities and acts of war against these countries.
Clearly, the disruption of Venezuela was because Trump and the Deep state in tandem wanted the opportunity to pilfer that country’s oil reserves which at that time were estimated to be the largest in the world. He even tried to declare the utterly gormless Guaido as a puppet President for the country in the hope that the U$A could facilitate another playbook of economic hitman events.
Since then it has been found that Haiti’s energy reserves dwarf those of Venezuela… god only knows what the Hegemon has in store for that country… watch that space.
Trump came very close to causing a major war with Iran too when he organised the murder of Maj. Gen. Suleimani and then foolishly bragged about it.
He also scuttled the JCPOA deal… arguably the single positive initiative that Obomber achieved on foreign soil in his entire two terms. This of course paved the way for the acceptance that the US is treaty and agreement incapable and that they could pivot on any one deal before the ink is even dry on the paper.
I have only listed a handful of Trump shockers… I have a list of 20-50 or more instances including his appointment of complete nutjobs like Mike Pompeo, John Bolton, Elliot Abrams Iran-Contra criminal], Gina Haspel and a host of Goldman Sucks thieving sleazeballs that he manoeuvred and appointed into the cabinet and other key positions.
All credit to the Colonel in that he did make reference to this multitude of outrageously inappropriate decisions and to the fact that both major parties are neck and neck when it comes to a history of perpetual warmongering and resource grabbing on a truly global scale.
Personally, I cannot think of a single person that would make a better President than Colonel MacGregor. What an absolute breath of fresh air to listen to someone with his honesty, knowledge of history/geography, and natural statesmanlike diplomacy… in short he makes Trump look like a semi-illiterate imbecilic braggart by comparison.
If you have the stomach, play the links, and refresh your memory as to just how utterly cringe-worthy this man really is.
Good comment. Trump’s supporters seem to have forgotten that while he claimed to be “draining the swamp” he surrounded himself with those very same swamp creatures.
That is true or was he just ignorant of the massive opposition against him. The US does tend to prey upon countries for our own agenda, that cannot mount an effective defensive response. However, I don’t think any president would engage Russia because as MacGregor stated the art of warfare has changed since WWWII. Access to satellite imagery makes these bomb carrying aircraft almost obsolete; real time response is available. The US needs to acknowledge their foreign policy is an anachronism and stop wasting US taxpayer dollars on an industry that serves no real purpose anymore. Ah, but the profits, the lobbying, the corruption in our politicians probably will never allow that to happen. That thinking would collapse too many ngo military think tanks.
So…Trump was two-faced? Attacks on foreign soil, while claiming to not start any wars. He initiated the Afghanistan withdrawal, and troop withdrawals from Syria, made Germany pay their NATO bill, while at the same time increasing our military budget and cutting taxes to corporations. Was it all optics for the American people. Afterall, he is one of the elite, but not of the established political class. I would like to think someone, like MacGregor, Marjorie Taylor Greene (beholden to no one as she funded her own campaign and stands for the American people), Jim Jordan, anyone with strength and determination can turn our government around. If that be Trump, now he knows the true depravity of our government, and is sincere, so be it. 2024 will either be a success for us, the people, or we will become a defacto totalitarian state.
I’m not sure that that counts. I recall being told that Germany and some other NATO members refused to pay 2% of their GDP on NATO because they didn’t see Russia as a threat to the degree that the USA, the UK, Poland and the Baltics did, hence NATO was ‘pointless’. And who can blame Germany? NATO has no right to continue, let alone expand, post-Cold War.
Yeah grr… absolutely… the fact that he still claims credit for the Warpspeed rollout, and for being the indispensable Godfather ensuring rushing mRNA toxins out by the zillions under EUA, simply beggars belief.
It is clearly outrageously moronic behaviour if he still hasn’t flicked up that this alone will completely scuttle his POTUS run for 2024.
Like I said I had ~50 reasons that prove him to be a hopeless and barely literate braggart… I only mentioned a few of them… I assumed people didn’t have all night!
Lol and cheers

PS I have to laugh… I tried crying and that didn’t seem to help.
So much for “negotiations”. By now, real negotiations are out of the question. This will end when Russia decimates Ukraine, imposes its will and declares an armistice.
As Col Mac outlines it, Russia is dismantling the ability of AFU to wage war. Without transport, communications, supplies, fuel and ammo it will be easy for the AFR to achieve military objectives at a minimal cost.
Polish radicals are probably being funded by the same people who are corrupting the US I would say because corruption in Poland is rife, apart from long standing gripes since WW2 over Stalin’s actions both in 1939 and post 45 which underpin their attitude.
Those who control the ECB are the source of the problem over this NATO-UKN situation and also the US decay. So the solution is clear – they have to go. They are the source of all the problems.
EU military people and civil servants need to stop taking orders from these people and their minons like Macron. Or else delay or sabotage any orders.
As the Colonel says – you have NATO staff viewing it as a defensive force whereas their political masters see it as an offensive force. Same in Germany in 1937-41 – the General Staff (Beck etc…) resisted war plans but the Bohemian Corporal who led everyone to destruction by 1945 didnt care.
Imagine instead if in 1939 the Germany-USSR agreement had led to up-scale economic ties with Stalin letting in German businesses into Russia under certain conditions.
In all of this its clear in the West the military command need to have permanent position in the Executive Govt, like in the US someone from it being made (elected either by troops and or the people) Vice President and or Defense Secretary in order to put a brake on things. Germany and France too. With a power to remove the civilian leader if required. And at least one senior military officer on the Supreme Court too.
And as for the US Chairman Joint Chiefs – a reform would be that the Army Navy Air-Force Marine CG General Staff or officer corps select him, not the politicians, so people like Millie arent installed.
There are lot of things that can be done to fix the current situation.
Also I note the final US Election result for the House is a 2 seat majority which means certain outspoken Reps from Florida (MTG & G) and the Midwest will have lot of clout.
This may be a calming factor in the next 2 years but the true colors of the remainder will surface and if they collude with the Biden DEM war machine they will have to be dealt with.
With the Trump-DeSantis battle, neither can win 2024 on their own as it would split the GOP so a joint ticket with Trump as POTUS under some agreement on policy would be the best option. Then DeSantis could go for 2 terms if he behaves himself.
This is all relevant to NATO-Russia-UKN conflict.
But Poland’s radical stance I think now justifies a review of territorial boundaries and perhaps East Prussia should be given back to Germany, and western UKN go back to Poland which previously were, as part of solving all these current problems. A large German cash transfer or supply of industrial equipment to Poland for economic development as part of this would make it acceptable.
A few new asses replace some old asses, a few seats get rearranged, then it’s back to business as usual. The only thing that will change is who gets investigated.
