Today Tatzhit Mikhailovich posted on his Youtube channel the “Ballad about Struggle” or “Bаллада о Bорьбе” of the famous Russian bard Vladimir Vysotskii.  This song literally changed my life.  I heard it for the first time when I was 17, it was played for me by a guy who ended up changing my life.  He quoted Ivan Solonevich to me and said “there are times in a country’s history when what a country needs are not more doctors, or engineers but people capable of doing two things 1) writing 2) using a firearm“.  That meeting changed my life, between Vyssotskii and Solonevich I was “hooked” and I became a fighter who wanted to make sure that I would prove (if only to myself) that I had read the “right books” as a kid.  I decided that I would struggle for Russia with all my might, heart and soul and honor those whose books I had read as a kid and whose blood I had in my veins.  To hear this song interpreted by a Novorussian militiaman is extremely moving for me and I want to share that with you.
