Well, since I have followed more Russian politics and Ukraine events than those in the US, I have never been aware that Obama, as they are telling on TV while retransmiting the transfer of powers, has ruled with almost the whole Congress ( Republican ) against him, finding impossible to get pass many of his projects. Despite of this, seems to have improved things at education level so as to make it accessible for more poeple in the US.
If I am honest Obama sounded humble and human, vulnerable to tears, naming his wife in several occassions, so as to make us understand she is a very important person to him and one of the pilars where he stay. She in turn received him after his speech kindly and supportive, and so natural as if he had finished his graduation speech.
Trump sounded so prepotent as he is, mainly talking of the loses of the middle class he seems to represent and going to work for, as a sample, the woman he has put in charge of education issues who has made a fortune through privatization of education. Unlike to Michelle, Melania seemed way too unconfortable, especially when the officcial signatures took place, as if she could envision the disaster coming for both, her and the world.
Btw, the Obamas are going to Florida for holidays…..
Sorry, I ain’t inviting them for a drink or a meal ;-P
The Saker
Any improvement in US education — by any means accomplished (privatisation included) — would be long overdue. Students no longer learn anything. High School graduates do not know even in what century the Revolutionary war happened.
And college ? A sick, sad travesty that leaves students locked into impossible-to-ever-repay debt with no prospect of decent employment.
O’bomber’s “wife” ? The transvestite ? No — his beard (homosexual slang term).
Toxic — even for vermin.
